This is a battle manga, for God's Sake. It's not a family drama where you will see Husband and Wife having their lovey-dovey scenes very often. If this series was all about Sasuke, SakuTrash and Salad, then this is possible. Except that it's not!!!! It's all about Boruto and Kawaki, Naruto and Sasuke, Sarada and Mitsuki to an extent.

I just wanna say that I agree with this. But I don't exactly fault SS fans wanting lovey dovey SS since the Naruto/Boruto animes have so much unnecessary filler and added romance. BUT. I don't know why they'd expect it because like you said Boruto isn't about the SS family. Had it been then they probs would've gotten happy SS family content that didn't exist like with the NH family.

And as far as I know, the anime has never gone out of its way to add filler/romance for SS like they continuously did for NH. In contrast, the studio, SP, seems like they hate Sakura while they have a weirdly obsessive love for Hinata. So, Sakura never got any of that filler to further her romantic relationship that's actually nonexistent like Hinata.

I don't get the extreme shipper fans in this fandom. You pointing out that family moment that wasn't adapted should bother them. But they don't care? My guess is because it's strictly all about the ships with these people and they don't really care about what happens with the kids/families. (I can at least get on the same page there, Boruto shouldn't have ever existed, christ.)

Last thing, imo I just find it weird to write Sakura saying shit like "I'mma do better! I'll save them!" And then she does nothing. That just comes off as strange to me. Like how Hinata... what was her thing? She wasn't supposed to give up being a ninja and would work hard but in canon she only reached Chunin status and later quit being a ninja entirely. I wouldn't call this stuff bad writing per se, it's just odd and asinine to me.

Well, I get this statement from many people, Anon!!!! Is it in the context of Boruto? or Naruto? If this is about Boruto, I don't know which fillers they did go all smoochy smoochy for NH!!! And since Boruto has 77% of fillers, it really doesn't matter. Plus in the Manga, they interacted only in 6 panels so far and it's all about 'Do you want Tea?', 'Am going for shopping!!', 'Are you okay?, Naruto-kun' or something like this... So, she is Non-Existent here. If you are saying that Anime added more scenes for NH in the context of Naruto series, still.... apart from that extra flashback scene in Pain Arc, I didn't see any special scene for HinaTrash. I am not going to acknowledge that shitty The Last movie, so there is that.

This I agree but disagree as well!! If this is about Boruto, SS got plenty of extra scenes together. Anime even toned down Sasuke's facial reaction to be a bit more pleasant around Sarada whereas in Manga, he looked terrible.  If this is about Naruto, I agree with the lack of fillers for SS. But Sakura got plenty of extra scenes with Naruto. And because of that NaruSaku fandom got serious and still exists. Even the Anime production staffs got disappointed about NH because they expected Naruto to end up with Sakura. They love Sakura and self-inserted her in many places along with Naruto to make her more likeable.  [[Disclaimer: NaruSaku fans!!! Please don't read any further... Am going to be very critical here. It’s not about the ship but the way Anime team handled their relationship especially Naruto.]]

There are some NaruSaku fans who concocts story that Naruto just saw Sasuke as a Brother but was sexually attracted to Sakura. Sexually means just like how Jiraiya was attracted to Tsunade. And they almost make Naruto as a pervert at the same level as Jiraiya!!!! I completely detest those fans!!!! And why did they come to this conclusion? It's all because of those fucking extra scenes in the canon episodes!!! 

While I completely agree with the fact that both of them had spent a good screen time enough to become a couple atleast bazillion times better than that Pinata trash. But how could they ignore the fact that Sakura was super obsessive with Sasuke sexually throughout the series???? Yes, I agree there are certain moments where she was nice towards Naruto, She cried for him, yadda yadda... But who doesn’t??? Shikamaru also got back from his half-death state just to help out Naruto. Compared to this, Whatever Sakura did for Naruto is nothing. People can ship anyone they like with any other person. Who am I to stop? But spouting lies blatantly is just irritating especially because of the extra scenes!!!! 

I don’t mind Anime team adding extra scenes like Sakura making Food Pills and stuffs... Those were really good. Like they can add however much they want between Naruto and Pinky...  But there are many extra scenes in Canon Episodes that made Naruto into a pervert or a lowly simp for Sakura which he is not. 

Like this... 

This is when Jiraiya trains Naruto for Summoning Jutsu. Since Naruto has to put his life on the line, Jiraiya asks Naruto to fulfil his final wishes, like taking Hot Bath, Eating Ramen and hugging a girl that he likes.

This scene is not in the Manga and this gives off the vibe that Naruto is a pervert who likes to hug Sakura using cheap tricks..

This following scene is when Naruto was trying to add an extra teammate to pursue Sasuke since Kakashi was beaten so bad after Kazekage retrieval arc. The following monologue is not in the Manga.

Since when did Naruto gave two fucks about Pinky fretting over other boys? Yeah, he usually gave some shit when she frets over Sasuke, though!!! But when Lee was trying to flirt with her, he just didn’t react for that. 

Is this scene necessary???? This scene screams Naruto is Jiraiya - version 2... Which he absolutely is not!!! Like wanting to peek Sakura is simply not funny at all. And why would Naruto wants Sakura to be pleased about his dick??? Geez!!! No wonder some NaruSaku shippers think Naruto is sexually interested in her and even claims that he has a weakness for her. 

Aaaaand Then this!!!!!! Geeez!!! The Anime had tried so hard to make us believe that he is doing this for the promise he made to Sakura. 

This is not in the Manga at all.!!! He talked about that promise only at the end of Part 1. After that he never mentioned about it anywhere until we get a flashback between Naruto and Sai. 

Then this extra scene.

This entire scene was not in Manga at all. But still even if you ask Naruto’s greatest pain, he would still stay his horrible childhood days... which is acceptable, Sasuke leaving him, which is reasonable (It’s not because I am an SNS shipper that I am agreeing with this. Naruto literally displayed VoTE1 scene to entire Shinobi Alliance as his greatest regret. So it’s entirely believable)... Losing Jiraiya which is A-Ok again...... Why the fuck hurting Sakura when he was in 4 tailed state is here????? I mean... is this believable???? How can Jiraiya’s death and hurting Sakura is comparable in any way???? Why are they portraying Naruto like this? 

And then this abomination.

I just got Furious with this shit!!!!! In the original confession Naruto never talks about SakuTrash at all. It was entirely about Naruto and Sasuke alone. The only outsider name that got mentioned in this confession is Iruka Sensei.

Why are they self inserting her in places she shouldn’t be???? Like this is super disgusting to digest!!!! 

So, there are totally 5 OOC extra scenes for a ship that’s not going to be canon!!!! What is the point in all of this??? Even for SNS, we didn’t get these many extra scenes, man!!! 

Again, am telling you. Am not a person who is against adding extra scenes. But adding a scene that develops or elevates the relationship between two characters are okay. Like that making food pills scene!!! They could’ve added a scene where Naruto and Sakura talk about something or having a walk together.... All these are perfectly fine. 

But Naruto thinking about her constantly or talking about her fondly to someone else is just plain wrong. Because these are the gesture you do only when you love someone so deeply. Naruto talking about Sasuke to someone else is not OOC at all. But all these scenes about Sakura are very wrong. It doesn’t improve Sakura’s image in any way.... It just made Naruto looks like an Hard Core simp for Sakura. 

Literally NaruSaku fans use these  scenes from Anime to claim that Naruto was interested in Sakura romantically which gives off the absolute heterosexual vibe and with Sasuke, they claim that he looks at him only as a brother. And I don’t blame those shippers entirely. When you look at everything I attached above, it really seems like Naruto was sexually interested in her. What a bad portrayal!!!!

And if someone claims that Anime team hates Sakura, show them these scenes. Studio Pierrot probably don’t like SS, I guess, But they love NaruSaku. That’s why even in Boruto Anime, they go out of their way to add a scene between Sakura and Naruto in the last episode. Whereas in Manga, they are yet to share a scene together!!!

I am done with this NH and SS shippers expecting steamy romantic scenes for their ship!!! They are not even realizing that this is a show that targets young kids from age 12 where romance between 32 year old Adult looks fuck ugly to watch. We never saw any romance in Original Naruto series and how can they expect it here?? 

What the show runners will aim for is the development between the Kid characters.. like Boruto and Kawaki.... or between a parent and a Kid... Like Kawaki and Naruto... or Sasuke and Boruto. It feels disgusting that NH shippers was not even guilty about Hinata being excluded from Boruto’s life entirely. 

All we can do is to eat popcorn and enjoy their rants!!!

He keeps running into another hunter named Dean Winchester, who seems to be about as lonely as he is if he's willing to put up with those former facts long enough to help Cas unravel the mystery of who (or what) he really is.

For his part, Dean's still (not) dealing with Sam's departure to Stanford, and figures distracting himself with a bit of mystery and intrigue is as harmless as it gets, right? Right.

(THE fic I'm most into right now, been following this from the very start and it's AMAZING. Cas has agency and is making friends and S1 Dean is growing out of John's influence and is becoming a Person and the both of them first being friends then more. The slow burn as their relationship develops, SO GOOD. SO SO DAMN GOOD. *screams* Seriously one of the best spn fics I've read in a long, long time.)

(The fact one of the tags in this fic is, "Sibling Dynamic: Fucked Up But Wholesome" should give you an idea what this fic is like. Chaotic as HELL and I just love Azula here, she loves Zuko so much in her messed up way and Zuko loves her back in the exact same way lol. It's batshit and I am Here For This.)

Also, Kakashi is so Chaotic here this is my fave characterization of him, you can't change my mind. And Genma is a Good Boi who is Doing His Best, along with the Self-insert character who I LOVE SO MUCH, SHE'S FANTASTIC FNEIWOPAF. Sped past this fic in the speed of light, I could not stop reading!)(Honestly, read all of the author's fics, they're all really REALLY good!)

Without needing anyone to tell her, Sakura knew that talking to someone no-one else could see or hear would make her weird. It would draw the bad kind of attention to her, something people could make fun of her for.

She didn’t like being weird, but she did like the voice. Her inner voice was helpful and it was a part of her that had always been there. The idea of it not being there would have been so much weirder than anything else.

It was during her first year at the Academy that Sakura realised the voice was not in her head at all, but that it came from a cloudy shape floating next to her.

Been a follower of them for a long time, they're great.)

How many great male characters there are anyway? Naruto and Itachi are the worst characters in NARUTO when they're poorly written and poorly developed, but worshipped by the fans. Tsunade is better character than both of them, (and Sakura as well, the character her fans imagine her to be). Yet they just focus on male vs femela pointless debate. Why don't they look from both sides? It's like they don't search for equal rights but for dominion.

I have a tiny bit more respect for naruto stans, they self insert as much as sakura and hinata stans, but the most disgusting thing they would do to defend their favs is just over sell and overstate naruto’s sob story. I don’t think they truly care about what’s good character writing, if they did, they’d have quit the series after the itachi reveal like many reasonable Itachi fans did. NS fanfics

Listen. I just want a fanfic that ends the way it should be. Naruto ‘saved’ Sasuke at the valley of the end after the 4th war. Sasuke doesn’t remain this evil guy who seeks to separate or kill Naruto, Sakura and the village again (even though he had valid reasons for why he wanted to). Sasuke is not an obstacle between Naruto and Sakura because he was not interested in a first place. (I see a lot of SS/NH shippers say that NS seem like siblings, but that is just not the case.  When I think of SS and NH all the feelings are one sided on Sakura and Hinata’s side respectively. Even though Sakura is canonically older of the three, Sakura reminds me of a girl who has a crush on the handsome older neighbor guy who is friends with her friend, Naruto who has a crush on her, and Sasuke in the equation treats her like a little sister. Absolutely NO INTEREST. Let me get back, I want Sasuke to have not gotten off lightly, but I also do not forsee him wanting to stay in Konoha. I want the truth about the UCHIHA MASSACRE to be revealed. Itachi is dead and gone, it is time for Sasuke to have justice and not people looking at him like he had no reason for doing what he did to Danzo. Plus it would be nice if people recognized just how much Itachi sufferred to protect the village (JUSTICE!!)

I want Naruto and Sakura and whomever else to be complacent in the fact that Sasuke isn’t going to go around doing evil things and let Sasuke travel around with Team Taka until he feels ready to come back to Konoha, and when he does feel ready he adopts Juugo and Suigetsu as Uchihas and they move into a compound in or just outside the village (I do not think Sasuke would be fine mentally to go back to the Uchiha compound so maybe he gives that as an orphanage space for kids who lost their parents, ect,), but Karin doesn’t want to be adopted because she loves him and they explore their relationship and talk out their issues/feelings. (SASUKARIN) 

Also Orochimaru is NOT given a pass to roam around Konoha freely and he is not given a pass to EXPERIMENT ON HUMANS which is what he was exiled for IN THE FIRST PLACE. NARUTO and the village as a whole are NOT OKAY WITH THAT. Orochimaru is under heavy surveillance, not doubting Yamato’s prowess but maybe chakra restraints on Orochimaru, idk the dude (?) is weird.

MEANWHILE 

Naruto and Sakura just as what was shown canonically hang out in Sasuke’s absence, occasionally meeting up with the other teams, squad leaders (funny Gai and Kakashi Inserts, Iruka (Iruka does not look 70, he looks as he should- younger than Kakashi). When they meet up with other teams, Naruto remembers Hinata’s confession, and feels that before he can confess to Sakura he goes to HInata to show her gratitude for putting her life on the line for him twice but tells her he cant return her feelings as his heart already belongs to one woman (just as Jiraiya did). (Also since NH like to try to spout BS about Hinata being a healer, maybe she actually healed Neji until more professional help came instead of just watching him bleed out right in front of her-a medic no matter where is supposed to heal, periodt!),  Neji is ALLLIVEEE.

After one particular outing, Naruto walks her home (not being forced but because he wants to) everything is calm and Naruto finallly confesses her feelings, he even tells her EVERYTHING, about disguising as Sasuke to kiss her. He either leaves to let her collect her thoughts but tells her he wont stop wooing her. Sakura does not need to react then and there. She starts to think of everything he has ever done for her, him encouraging her and protecting her and more, remembers the times Sasuke even told her how much Naruto cared like the gaara fight. How he is her motivation to become stronger. She thinks about how she had to revive him TWICE, how his heart was and is in HER hands and knows that they complete each other. Heaven and Earth symbols galore.

She finds him the next day (training with Kakashi/Tsunade or whomever as works on studying to become hokage (he is a good fighter, but needs to learn more leadership and hardships of a leader.-> I actually didn’t mind Kakashi as Hokage I do wish he did cooler things or was more badass as Hokage but I like the Idea of Tsunade passing down the mantle to Naruto.) SHE asks him on a date.(Now you know how symbolic this is). They walk together, Naruto fumbles/doesn’t know where to put his hands in nervousness until she uncrosses her arms from behind her back and takes hold of his hand with a blush on her face. Maybe a little clip/ image of their younger selves holding hands/walking together as they did. (I love younger Sakura’s cute little green dress).

Further down the line, Naruto reminsces about meeting Sakura’s parents for the first time and how accepting they were and no cliches about Mebuki knowing or being friends with Kushina. (Becasue i’m like why weren’t they more around Naruto even though his parentage was a secret anyone could look at his face and know that he is Minato’s child and thus Kushina’s, especially if they were close friends). OR maybe Mebuki remembers when she had invited Naruto over for dinner once or twice way when they were genin and she noticed how their personalities complimented then but said nothing because she knew Sakura was so Sasuke- focused then (I don’t like adding to much noncanon things but this is not bad). --MAYBE RTN COULD BE INPUT HERE INSTEAD to satisfy the whole meeting the parents concept.

On a Hinata note,  watanukisakuya has a good idea for rewriting the Last movie. This would show Hinata’s growth and ability to do something without thinking about n-n-naruto kun. I rather a badass mother and clan leader Hinata than a housewife (no offense to housewives but this is the ninja world hunny). I do not know who she would end up with but I admit to being biased to KibaHina ShinHina or maybe someone from within a clan. It would be cool if it was a lower branch member (not Neji they are cousins), and work to end the slavery (She sves her own family, especially out of gratitude for Neji, no help needed from Naruto).

The wedding

The night before I do want Naruto’s swing in frame (XD) think about his lonliness and the waterfall training with Bee when he thought about his anti self, to how much love he is receiving now and how happy he is. This would essentially be in Naruto and Sakura POV. This doesn’t need to take 40 minutes of characters finding gifts, but be focused on NARUSAKU’s journey together. Naruto thinks of all the people who have helped/supported him. I did like Iruka standing in as his father. I want Naruto to think about his parents and their sacrifice so that he could be here. Sakura remember’s Minato request of her to take care of his son and promises to do just that. Tsunade and Naruto thinks of Jiraiya.

Beocming Hokage

They do have their son Shinachiku, Hanami and Hanako, and Lastly Arashi. (Shinachiku is already born and twins are on the way, Arashi has not been concieved yet).

We finally get to see Naruto become Hokage.  Yes, Shikamaru is his advisor. (Even though I hate the Boruto series, I love the idea of a bond between their children).

 Naruto has to deal with the after affects of the war. Addressing smaller villages concerns about 5 nations having all of the power and wars that essentially hurt small villages the most. War relief fund set up between all the big villages to help smaller villages. (I do not know how to manage the ideas of the Daimyo’s v. leaders of villages yet.) Though Hinata would have dealt with Slavery in her clan, I would like their to be some failsafe that Narutoo put in place to make completely sure. I want Naruto to make sure that there is never another Danzo.

Sakura deals with the strains of motherhood, being a wife, and the head of the hospital, helping run the orphanage w/ Team Taka and Ino in the old Uchiha compound.

Naruto the Next GEN

It would not be titled after new character. Everyone did not pair up and have babies at the SAME TIME. Sasuke would probably have had a baby first out of everyone with Karin. I think NaruSaku would follow. Maybe Ino has a baby by the time NS are on the twins. SOME Pairings babies would be the same age, give or take a few months, but split up ages amongst the rest.

For some reason, I have the impression that the world of Naruto as we know it is not the entirety of the globe, so there are still other villages (Yes, they might have been caught up in the infinite tsukuyomi as well without knowing whats going on)..I don’t know if the other villages are evil or not etc)

Anyone ever noticed how people who leave “constructive, friendly reviews” (that actually are just them pointing out something they personally don’t like) tend to avoid leaving any means of communicating with them to either a) find out ways to fix a mistake or b) respond and clarify why something was written the way it was?

I mean, don’t get me wrong, that’s what I love about posting unfinished stories. I get a beat on what I’m doing right and what I’m doing wrong and some kind of guideline that in the next chapter or the next edit I can fix.

But if someone just leaves a random piece of crit and no username or handle or PM or whatever, I have no way of following it up. And then I have to post it here and hope maybe they’ll see it because I’m not taking up space in the beginning of my next chapter to respond.

So, just to put it out there (and if this person follows me on tumblr or wherever they can PM if they want):

A Mary-Sue is pretty much defined as a character who is flawless and and no one calls on their shit and is usually a self-insert. (The definition covers a lot so if you’re curious check out the Mary-Sue litmus test. It’s very comprehensive)

NTMTO Sakura very clearly has flaws (dependency, making rash and bad judgements, being rather childish and naive at times), she does and will continue to get called on her shit (started with Ino in chapter two and this one, and there will be others later but has to wait since the characters who actually know her and her background to call her on it are all still living in Japan at the mo) and is in no way some idealized version of me, because honestly, I come at things that bug me directly (even more so since my burnout because I do not have the patience for pussyfooting around). Also, being an overachiever is a pain in the ass and stressful as fuck. I would never want to be someone like that because it’s just asking for a mental breakdown and making stupid quick decisions (all of which will be touched on with Sakura later in this fic)

At most the Sakura of NTMTO (a fic that is only in its infant stages right now) could be termed OOC. And even then, she was deliberately written this way to show the contrast between Sasuke’s idealized version of her in his head and the actual person she is. In the same way that she views Sasuke as distant and uncaring toward her when she clearly is ignorant (and a bit dense) about his feelings for her.

These are aspects of the characters that will grow and change and develop over the course of the fic because they are barely eighteen years old and people are not fully formed and mature at eighteen years old. Teenagers decision making abilities and thought processes are wildly different from adults. I’ve watched some pretty assholish behavior on the part of my students while they were firmly in the mindset that they were some kind of martyr. And it happens with even the nicest kids. Girls can be particularly dense about some things when they get into one of their high drama episodes (boys do to but usually in a different way)

If I made it seem like everyone has been blaming Sasuke for the falling out, it’s not my intention. Maybe I didn’t write it properly (keep in mind this is an unedited version of things) but Mikoto and Itachi are not happy with Sakura at the moment. And if she were in front of them they’d make that plain. But they are also not the type of people to make an excuse and go “oh, this is too bad, but don’t worry honey, there’s nothing you can do about it Sasuke because it’s all her fault”. They give him advice about what to do on his end since that’s the only part of it that he can control. You’ll notice that both of them even suggest he might be better off letting Sakura go, which would be the healthier option for Sasuke. As for Mebuki, she just always blames Sasuke. In any fic I write, even the head canon ones. Because she’s ridiculously overprotective of her daughter. That’s not a reflection of everyone shitting on Sasuke, it’s an aspect of her character (to me anyway)

So basically, if you feel like quitting my fic because I’m apparently not doing Sakura’s character justice or putting Sasuke down to make her look better, then that’s your business. Go with the Goddess and all that. But I take pride in my characterizations and plot decisions, and to me, being told I’ve turned a character I worked with for the better part of two years into a Mary-Sue (based on barely 4 chapters) isn’t constructive criticism, it’s short-sightedness and a bit insulting.

It’s the kind of thinking that causes people in the Naruto fandom to hate on Sakura for the way she was as a Genin and refuse to acknowledge all of the character development she went through by the end of the series.

So go ahead. Tell me you dislike how I’ve characterized her in this fic, and that you don’t like the direction I’m taking the story in. Those are valid opinions and I can’t argue with a person’s personal likes and dislikes.

But for goodness sake, don’t throw around the term Mary-Sue so casually, especially when you’re just salty about some OOC moments and plot decisions you don’t like.

(If you want to see a character I consider close to Mary-Sue, honestly I would say my Gal Friday Sakura is pretty much the definition. Four chapters in and she’s practically perfect in every way...though again, it’s only four chapters in. No one knows what I have planned for her in terms of character development. For all you know I could turn that fic into the next My Immortal)

TL;DR: I take offense to having characters called Mary-Sue, especially if it’s unjustified. Use the proper terminology and don’t assume you know the reason an author chooses to write a story the way it’s written until the story is done.

In the new anime? Sakura and her friend talk about how she hasn’t even seen Sasuke in forever and her friend wonders why Sakura hasn’t left him because Sakura says he doesn’t care about her.

At least this is what you’re referring to, I remember seeing that post around and honestly just say you don’t like the characters/series ya know?

I will just start and say that it’s up for you to make your own view on something by actually digging into it, by this ask only it seems you haven’t tackled on the series and just speculated what has been spreaded around (thanks sp) but then again if you’re just curious what is up then by all means continue reading this lol

But if you don’t care for a full view, then I guess the shortest I can put it is this: Sasuke will be deemed a ‘deadbeat father/husband’ due to the fact he’s on a mission, Sakura will be deemed many things but in the case of what you’re asking it’d be a ‘doormat wife who is a single mom at this point’ yet is just being a supportive partner and continues being a doctor while raising their daughter - by themselves alone they are just hated lol

Your ask just reeks the fandom the general, and again I blame the one sided ‘b/w’ thinking people have - which isn’t good for a series like this 

I’m going to have to do a read more since it’s a lot to begin with, just 2 episodes and it counters what the manga had (and this scene you’re referring to is all their doing at this point - I literally read the manga first before getting into a anime because of this studio)

So episode 17 of Boredo has Sakura leaving on a trip and Ino is to accompany her (or at least see her off) thus this scene happens:

Now in the case of both the anime and manga this is something that is kept right: Sasuke has maintain keeping no contact to his family. Now keep in mind these are my views and consider why with Gaiden I don’t have issues with it like what other ss supporters do: then again I got back into the series near the end too. 

Sasuke is sacrificing his life to keep everyone protected, and really this is a lot already for a guy who was deemed a criminal for the series. As the name ‘the Shadow Hokage’ has been placed on him, he’s basically out there in search to stop this ‘threat’ he knows is dangerous. He keeps the hokage informed of anything needed to say - but why can’t he tell his family something. 

In my view, he knows his family is safe, he is out there doing what is needed to keep them safe, so when his daughter (who they haven’t seen each other in years) confronts him about this whole fiasco:

‘What is going on at home’ ah yes Sasuke, your daughter wasn’t going to wonder what’s happening with her dad away (but again, from his view he sees his family being okay) I added this much earlier already but it’s enough to get you thinking. 

(Also as someone who loves kishi’s style they honest to god can’t animate his style, they don’t even know how to draw breasts at this point unless they really want to get their ‘flatchested’ mom agenda still) 

(Ah yes if only Sakura knew what was going on, it’s not like he just left on this mission with no discussions with his partner :)))) 

(Ah yes, if only she knew, like in the manga, what is at stake :))

And then Ino is like ‘oh okay hey remember how you guys had a date here!’ which cause to Sakura just ‘??? I guess? It was like 2 min girl’ and she just left her there on the bench to remember the date lmao (more gloating on the poor wife!?1 how can we make this more sad?11! :))))))) 

Ah yes, Sasuke sure is one to forget things, sure he is - that boy Sasuke :) 

This shouldn’t be included to what you’re asking but it’s clear to me at this point that the writers just don’t get them, it’s like they looked at part 1 of the series (not even part 1 like the first couple chapters for sakura and then sasuke going revenge like is who he is lmao) and just ‘yeah that’s them the whole rest of the series’

So we have: 

1) Sakura being left in the loop of things and just doing what she wants to believe (*insert bandwagon insult*)

2) Sasuke is a cold hearted asshole as usual (cause that was who he was the whole series am I right) 

3) They decided to add this date for????????? Oh right they’re a couple, totally gotta add something that’s them :0 

But see how this, one scene, is enough to invoke people to claim these things? There’s so much more, but this just hits home since gaiden kicks off after; and boy does it counter it badly. 

Boredo is very clear not Kishi’s work, if you already having to rework a timeline to fit into your anime timeline then really who am I gonna believe? 

The ‘no contact’ thing was a issue with both works yes, but the manga made it clear on why Sasuke is on this mission and who knows about it; yet here we are.  

So let’s go off: Why is Sasuke away exactly? Why isn’t he contacting his family? Why does it matter, why are we having fans showing the manga to the studio writers and telling them what happen - and why are the writers being entitled to say that that’s kishimoto’s point of view of his own damn series.  

Here we have Sasuke presenting to the kages (along with Sakura) a possible threat that could be even more dangerous than Kaguya - and that is scary. 

So judging by this possibility, it’s clear Sasuke is the only one who can do it, and seeing how he’s made amends with everyone at this point it’s clear he’s now in a stable lifestyle in Kohona. But the possiblity of a threat to go against this - your family, your home, ‘a bright future’ - you are not going to push this threat away. Especially if you’re the only one to do be able to do this. 

Now here’s the thing: this is, at the time, a mere hypothesis; it was up to him to reject it or not. As he suggested, keeping the mission in secret, was the best choice. The mere thought of it would cause the public to be anxious, and the ‘peace’ they have now built will be broken - the public will want answers and with a hypothesis like this there was no way it was going to be given. 

Add the fact, what if this wasn’t as serious as he thought, which leads to believe there was no estimated time to say how long he’d be gone. Leaving it a private case would cause no havoc in the end since it wasn’t as serious as he assumed: but of course it was and in the end it’s estimated he left when Sarada was at least 4 years old (the whole one night stand/doesn’t love her bullshit is just like That is not Sasuke nor Sakura - and a whole new post in general) 

Now Sakura being present pretty much settles everything, she knows why he’s out there, she knows what’s at stake, and as her reaction shows, she’s shocked to imagine a threat like this is possibly out there; she was there after all. 

To come home to see their young daughter, the ‘bright’ future of the Uchiha Clan, that is at stake. Considering how Sasuke is the head now, there will come a day were he will have to tell Sarada the whole history of the Clan; his past is already too much to begin with. But let’s see what the anime did with this meeting :) The reason Naruto feels at fault after all for this case as well. 

‘We will have another episode containing the kages and Sak-’ But for what reason? They have this meeting to discuss all together what Sasuke believes is out there - you can’t counter the series for the anime timeline like jesus

So you mean to tell me Sasuke still feels after around a decade that he stills need to travel to see ‘a new light’? The kages being not there just wants to shove this idea down more because yes I get that he won’t be accepted by everyone - but like they already agree with him on taking this mission already so really - Sasuke still needs to go off and find himself? Really. R E A L L Y

Obviously not screenshoted but yes they decided to add Naruto telling him to stop by his house before going but he refuses; which bascially proves they left out Sakura so she’d have no clue why he left for this mission and thus have her ‘believe’ what is going on - god they really need to see why fans would be furious.

Like yes it’s wrong to assume on my part that the couple dicussed what could be said or not to their daugther - but it’s just logical to assume. And as I mentioned way before, Sasuke will be the one to tell Sarada the clan’s history; his past is a lot to handle already. Let’s add m o re: 

They know what they thought was best at the time was not going to work 100% through, but they like - all parents  - aren’t perfect. 

And really just the pair themselves face enough already, but it’s mainly due to the fact people have such a ‘b/w’ ideology to a ninja series and like this studio - can’t even realize that these two did grow up and change as characters do. 

I’ma have to stop now since you get what I’m going at as well as it’s starting glitch up now but final thoughts: 

I can easily say Kishimoto shouldn’t had made Sasuke be on this mission, I could be like the studio and claim what’s right etc. At the end of the day however I’m just bitter at the fact people look at these two and claim things about them that the manga goes against it; the studio has made it clear they have no interest in these two and will somehow find a way to ‘drag’ them for who they really are. 

But again, it’s your view, if you find me liking these two is a wtf complex in general you can just unfollow me; it’s clear these two are my faves in the series. By all means I hope I didn’t mean to offend you in any way, it’s just you can tell I’m just tired of this fandom my dude. 

I honestly don’t think I fully explained things for you, but i could of easily said ‘nah it ain’t true’ and ended it there too so here we are lol

SS and Sakura-Stans

I really don't get sakura-stans they like to paint her out as a this 'queen' and like to disregard ALL her faults (not all of the fans do this but most of them do disregard her character flaws) and the thing is that all fictional characters are flawed that's what makes them more interesting I feel like if more Sakura/SS-stans would acknowledged her faults I would like her character a lot more the only reason why I can actually say I really don't like sakura to the point I can say I hate her is because her fans try to make her seem perfect Even my favorite characters in naruto are flawed Ino is loud, hotheaded, a little shallow, and was sasuke-crazy Sasuke is blunt (flat out rude to certain people), was a little emo in pre-shippuden, an itachi wanker, and he became way to submissive at the end when it came to listening to naruto But why can't sakura-stans see sakura faults? She's spoiled, shallow, obsessive, and selfish especially when it come to her feelings towards sasuke the times she confessed to him she only talks about HER and what SHE wants and she basically ignores how sasuke feels In her book she says she'll keep on trying and beating down sasuke until he submits to her! kishimoto even called her feelings an addiction even time she tells him her feeling she tries to emotionally manipulate him into liking her and that's NOT OKAY However those are sakura's flaws, those are the problems she has to deal with as a person and it's okay that she has these faults (well not the obsessive behavior when it comes to sasuke) however trying to ignore or completely be ignorant to these faults won't change them there a part of who she is! Hi, I joined the sasunaru fandom not so long ago and you were one of the first blogs I encountered! I want to start off by saying how much I love every little analysis that you do. It's obvious how much effort you put into each piece of work you do, which I ma very grateful for (as it's hard to find blogs which are not biased just because of their ship). That is also the reason I came to you specifically to ask you about something. I read a few other analysis of the canon ships to see why 1/?

people ship them. I was never too keen on them. But some analysis did make sense (I guess) and it kind of upset me because maybe the canon pairings did make sense and us sasunaru shippers are just looking for anything to invalidate those ships. I’m not saying that Sasuke and Naruto had not potential because I’m 100% sure that what they had was something special. I just get sad thinking that they did not actually love each other and are happily married to other people (sorry if I sound childish) 2/?

I mean… How can they say that Naruto was ‘slow’ (he clearly knew about his feelings for Sakura) or that Sasuke was in the darkness and couldn’t return Sakura’s love (he was able to return Naruto’s feelings of friendship/love)? I was wondering if you’d be okay with giving a more in-depth analysis of NH and SS development (if they have any, in your opinion) and if either of them is happy. Thank you very much in advance if you are able to do this :)

First of all, thank you and pardon my rather late response. You are free to view NH and SS as logical pairings. Liking or acknowledging NH and SS does not mean you can’t appreciate SNS. However, your assumption that follows is flawed. You think because we see flaws in NH and SS, it means therefore that we SNS shippers must be biased since the majority of us disagrees with the endgame couples and is not sheepish with their critique. Needless to say, you confuse me a bit. Your message is contradicting, but I will just assume it’s due to the fact that you are unsure. I will put my thoughts under the cut for more convenient reading as my reply is fairly long.

Warning: The following content is heavily anti-NH and anti-SS. Hence, I’d kindly advise anyone who cannot accept differing views to keep scrolling.

Starting off with NaruHina’s development (or lack thereof), Naruto is a character that throughout the entirety of the series uses self-insertion to relate to comrades and villains alike. He feels empathy once he manages to establish a sense of similarity between himself and the other character, and while not all his bonds are based on this concept (Sakura, Kakashi, and Jiraiya being some notable exceptions), it holds truth for a majority of his bonds. This leads to a vast number of characters being eligible to be his foil—and by definition, they are. 

If you would like to justify Hinata being the only logical partner for Naruto because she is his foil, then no, the argument doesn’t work. Nagato, Obito, Neji, or Itachi are all foils to Naruto (in different ways) that have given him admiration and acknowledgment, whereas Sasuke, Rock Lee, or Gaara are all foils that have extended the admiration to friendship, support, and love. NH shippers aren’t wrong in saying that Hinata could fit as a counterpart to Naruto, but it doesn’t mean that Naruto and Sasuke do not have any potential to become a far better couple. Naruto has many more literary counterparts, so their conclusion is not sufficiently supported by that argument alone.

In my opinion, NH has no romantic development. Hinata’s friendship to Naruto is no different from any other ordinary friendship Naruto has made throughout the series. Yes, Naruto and Hinata have had moments. That’s it, though. All in all, his bond to Hinata is not any more special than his bond to most people. The difference is, Hinata suddenly became his romantic interest despite them not interacting in a romantic context before.

Now I shall attempt to describe what is fundamentally wrong with SasuSaku and the reason why it lacks development and undermines the individual characters. I am aware that with good development, it could’ve more than reasonably flown off, but Kishimoto’s subpar writing in the last arcs created the SS we currently have. I do not hate any character individually, however together, they bring the worst out in each other. 

Sakura begins the story as a scared and helpless ninja who learns to toughen up and is eventually trained by Tsunade in medical ninjutsu and combat. She has one of the best chakra controls in the ninja world with the physical and mental strength to match. Unfortunately, she returns to the same meek stuttering fangirl at the beginning of the series every single time Sasuke is involved. Sasuke, on the other hand, is introduced as an incredibly capable ninja who is a quiet and mysterious person with a traumatic past, making him reclusive and angry.

He had much more opportunity to open up to Sakura in the first part of the series since they went on missions together, fought together, and functioned as teammates; yet, he refused to talk in-depth about himself. And the problem is, none of the issues between them were ever addressed or resolved. One curt and unexplained apology and a time skip don’t cut it. As if that single sentence makes up for the complete disregard of Sasuke’s emotions and wishes on Sakura’s part and the hurtful remarks Sasuke uttered. Before anyone wants to argue that Sasuke’s words weren’t meant in a hurtful manner—it doesn’t matter because Sakura was still sad, and it’s important what the person who receives feels, not what the giver expects the receiver to feel.

Overall, his lack of interest in her was obvious enough to make Sakura question whether he cares about her at all while fighting Madara. I mean he dismissed her and Kakashi when Kaguya arrived, he allowed them both to fall into lava (a certain death) without batting an eye, and after Naruto yelled at him, he didn’t show any remorse. I’m not saying he should’ve shown remorse, I’m simply explaining how his actions represent the honest-to-goodness, as clear as day, down-to-earth climax of indifference he feels towards Sakura. Any sort of social relationship that involves a person who experiences indifference, whether the other person falls into lava or dies a painful death, is genuinely disturbing. And if that wasn’t enough, he throws Sakura’s feelings back in her face with a traumatising genjutsu and states that he doesn’t understand what she sees in him (Kakashi seems equally puzzled). 

Sakura pretty much is the main reason SS represents an unhealthy relationship (notice how I used the term “unhealthy” instead of “abusive”). She becomes selfish and emotionally manipulative whenever she interacts with Sasuke, from start to finish. Whilst Sasuke eventually apologises for his behaviour, Sakura never does. The worst part, though, is that she actually had the audacity to compare him leaving Konoha to the Uchiha massacre. 

This was a poor attempt to guilt-trip Sasuke and the readers into making Sasuke the bad guy and into humouring her selfish desires that take absolutely no one else into account. Their dynamic for almost all of the series is summarised as Sakura switching to her submissive personality and Sasuke getting annoyed. It’s a huge understatement in an even huger understatement to believe they merely have unresolved issues. Is there any evidence Sasuke ever saw Sakura as more than a friend or a pseudo-family member? 

Having said that, I hope this answers your question sufficiently, Anon!

Okay, Let me talk something sensitive.... But before that, 

This is something I wrote in one of my earlier posts... As you can see, I am not totally against Revenge plots or something.... I love/stan it, when it’s done properly with a strong purpose and motivations. 

And just like I expected.... I got this from Chapter 4..

These lines from Sasuke actually piqued my curiosity to keep watching this series because of my inclination towards Revenge Plots. And since Sasuke mentioned that he wanted to ‘resurrect his clan’... I pretty much built my Head Canons as to how it would pan out. Because, I come from a Clan based culture and movies about Clan Massacre are pretty common here... 

And usually the person who murders an Entire Clan would be portrayed in a certain way where it’s plastered on their Head that ‘I did it to show my superiority or I did it to achieve my Goal or I did it because they all hurt me so much and I killed them to have my revenge and many more reasons..’ And since Sasuke said that his Older Brother did that... I was expecting an evil jerk who was inherently bad like Joffrey from Game of Thrones.

So, I know what I am going to get... Until this moment from Chapter 145/ Episode 81.... where the Author decided to do a 360 degree on the Readers... 

When I saw this scene... I instantly knew, “It’s not what I expected... Probably Itachi might have his reasons. He is not an evil jerk... And probably Sasuke might suffer later...”.

Am not saying that I was totally convinced that Itachi might be a good guy with this scene alone because I don’t know the full picture about the bond between Itachi and Sasuke... But a doubt has been indefinitely planted here that he didn’t do it on him whim... And he feels sad and conflicted before performing that Massacre... 

And during this Part 1 flashback.... I became 90% sure that Sasuke will never be happy after the revenge.... Because, The bond between I and S was very strong and extremely pleasant before the Massacre. However, It all changed in one night....

Let’s keep this UCM plot aside.... 

And Let’s see how people who enact revenge reacts to their Perpetrators from Other media....

THE JIANG CLAN MASSACRE - THE UNTAMED (Chinese TV Series)

STARK MASSACRE - GAME OF THRONES (US TV series)

This is popularly called Red Wedding... And Starks (A House) were betrayed by the Host in a Wedding Event... It was one of the painful Event in any Media I’ve ever come across... I even wept for a week....

And this is how Arya Stark got her revenge on the person who wiped her entire Family in that Bloody Dinner.... She is even delightfully saying that “The Last thing you are ever going to see is a Stark smiling down at you as you die..”

MASSACRE AT TWO PINES - KILL BILL Part I and Part II (A US movie)

This is the tagline of that movie... Which says a lot as to what you are going to get... I can talk hours and hours about this movie... But that’s for another Day... As you can see the movie was titled ‘Kill Bill’.... Meaning, the Protagonist, Beatrix Kiddo’s one and only Objective was to find this Bill and kill him.... Just like our Sasuke’s only objective was to kill Itachi.

This is the Massacre where our Pregnant Bride Protagonist was also seemingly dead among her other friends in the Chapel where she was about to get married... But then she survived this tragedy by some miracle and she swore revenge on those Monsters who did this to her....

There are many people who still screams, 'Kishimoto is bad at this and that'.

I am a person who thinks, 'Kishi is damn excellent at Character Building. He is not someone who is going to pull punches, he just jabs straight into our mind when it comes to establishing the characters and their motivations in a very few panels, say 2 or 3, and that too in a very early stage'.

Example

NARUTO

He is the titular character and got introduced in the 1st chapter, 6th page. Naruto is launched as the hyperactive kid who vandalizes the Hokage Monuments in the name of pranks and gets punished for it. We all would have thought, ‘Naruto is a typical Class Clown who likes to pull pranks’.

But after few pages (Meanwhile he pulled another prank by doing Oiroke no Jutsu before Iruka), that is at page 10, Kishi drives the first Knife right through our hearts with the following panel. This is the panel where Naruto is seen having his first conversation in the Manga.

‘It’s not like I have anyone to go home to’.

Man!!!! This line really hurts... even now. This one panel tells us, 

Naruto is a happy-go-lucky person who likes to pull pranks. 

He is also an Orphan. 

But such drawbacks will never hinders Naruto’s cheerful spirit at any time. 

Despite not having any one to take care of him, he is not a person who will cry or wail in sadness forever.

Isn’t that who Naruto is?? Until the very end? 

In a single panel, just one effing panel, Kishimoto informs the readers about Naruto’s Attitude and Background.

And immediately in page 12, We get this picture perfect gem of a panel.

Now we get, Naruto’s dreams, where this Kid is striving towards and what motivates him. That is To 

BECOME AN HOKAGE. 

Isn’t that what he became at the end? 

Kishi didn’t take chapters and chapters to create a dream for Naruto. He just went all-out in a span of 2 pages and in 2 panels.

Let’s see the other Main Character of this series.

SASUKE

In Manga, Chapter 3 was named Uchiha Sasuke whereas in the Anime, Pink Trash’s name was self-inserted too. Grrr.....

Anyways, Sasuke was introduced as some cool guy with IDGAF attitude. (Well, I thought he will be some arrogant Jerk with some K-Drama hero vibes. I hate these kind of jerks, tbh). We see he is popular among girls and a class topper. 

We don’t know anything about his background yet. 

But then, there’s this ‘Frame this Picture in your Home’ kind of panel was drawn in Page 21.

God!!! This panel!!!!

Can I say it’s my most favorite panel of this series???? 

This panel screams many things

Sasuke is not just a cold looking jerk, but he is a person who stands up for insensitiveness.

He understands Naruto’s loneliness. Does it means Sasuke is also an Orphan or experienced something bad?? (In manga his orphan status wasn’t established yet).

He knows something about Naruto which we audience don’t know yet. That’s why he is defending Naruto even though Naruto kissed him and tied him up prior to this scene.

You will always get some reaction out of Sasuke when you talk about Naruto in front of him. More importantly, Don’t speak about him in a negative light.

21 pages into Chapter 3, Sasuke didn’t speak much about anything prior to this page. We don’t know anything about him apart from his aesthetics. But when he speaks, Kishi conveyed almost 60% of Sasuke’s Characterization in a single panel.

This is Who Sasuke is.... Even till the very end.

Immediately after this Chapter, We get the Team 7 introduction scene. We already knew about Naruto’s dream in chapter 1. He repeats the same here.

We get Sasuke’s ambition. His ambition forms the major part of his character and he is damn serious about it. 

He really did accomplish his goals in the end but in a much painful way. With just 2 panels, we get to know that his Clan is destroyed by someone and Sasuke wants to kill him. So, him being Orphan is almost a sure thing here. And what we can also infer from this panel is that Sasuke is a Goal-Oriented person.

Let move on to the Ms. Pink Trash

SAKURA

Well, For Naruto and Sasuke, Kishi was super detailed about setting up their character background. 

For Sakura, we don’t know who she is or what is her back story. Throughout the chapter, her motivation is to get inside Sasuke’s pants. 

Up until page 19, Sakura behaves the same. Yeah, Am not going to include the orphan insult here because that will only do more damage. Am just going to be very generous and skip that part.

In Chapter 4, Sakura unveils her grand dream

Geezzz!!!!! There’s nothing to discuss about her. She is just a horny girl who has no motivation, no goal or no dreams but to get Sasuke’s duck. 

Isn’t this how she ended up as????

Why the fuck she deserves better?????

Kishi is screaming at us from Chapter 4, that ‘THIS IS YOUR SAKURA, THE HORNY QUEEN’. When Naruto and Sasuke’s characteristics were pretty much (like 90%) set in stone in the first 4 chapters and added to that, it never changed until the very end, how can he change Sakura’s motivations? 

Yes, he could’ve made her into a woman who got inspired from Tsunade and want to surpass her and live independently without going behind a man. 

But, I never saw any indication of that happening in any arcs. Even in Kazekage retrieval arc, Sakura became serious in fighting Sasori only after hearing Orochimaru’s name (getting info on him will lead to Sasuke). Prior to that, she was playing innocent girl who doesn’t know how to fight.

So, Kishi is dead set on not making this character evolve by letting go of her obsession towards Sasuke. She was just a character who was designed to elevate the level of bond between them or should I say ‘a useless 3rd wheel’?

No matter what, 

Naruto and Sasuke will prefer to set their ambitions aside for each other rather than for Sakura. 

Sakura’s life in danger never generated a pain in Naruto but the very thought of Sasuke who will be killed made him hyperventilate. 

Sakura’s life in danger never evoked Kyuubi to emerge but Sasuke’s ‘apparent’ death, the thought of Sasuke cutting his ties with him, Orochimaru mentioning ‘My Sasuke kun’ made Naruto to go feral.

Even if 1000s of people were put in danger, Sasuke will prefer to save Naruto and run away.

Where is Sakura in any of this??? I’ve never seen any instances where Naruto or Sasuke put Sakura in a high pedestal, like Kakashi and Obito put Rin.

It’s not that she deserved better, It’s just that she had no useful motivations that drives her to evolve as a developed character. 

Learn to Deal with the fact that Kishimoto never planned to give 2 fucks about her at any point of time. Let alone talking about deserving better. If you watch this series from the POV of the likes of Sakura, then you will spout shits like ‘Sakura is the only person who can beat Madara’.

If you are saying that Anime added more scenes for NH in the context of Naruto series, still.... apart from that extra flashback scene in Pain Arc, I didn't see any special scene for HinaTrash. I am not going to acknowledge that shitty The Last movie, so there is that.

I was talking about the Naruto anime. I don't watch or read Boruto so I'm not up to date on their filler nonsense. The Naruto anime (more so Shippuden) had a ton of Hinata fillers that simultaneously pushed NH where there wasn't any because Hinata was barely in the manga. That's if I'm remembering correctly of course.

Like, they had Naruto and Team 8 (or just Hinata) interacting a lot, specifically for little shippy moments for Naruto and Hinata. The earliest I recall is when they had her nude and dancing in a lake when she was 12 and had Naruto spying on her. Why??? And from there Hinata was just shown far more in the anime than she should've because she was a minor character in canon.

If this is about Naruto, I agree with the lack of fillers for SS. But Sakura got plenty of extra scenes with Naruto. And because of that NaruSaku fandom got serious and still exists. Even the Anime production staffs got disappointed about NH because they expected Naruto to end up with Sakura. They love Sakura and self-inserted her in many places along with Naruto to make her more likeable.

That's genuinely surprising. I never would've guessed that they had positive fillers for Sakura (especially to add to the NS relationship). SP, imo, seemed like they were always trying to add stuff to make Sakura even more unlikable.

I have to laugh though at "the anime production staff got disappointed about NH". That's hilarious. I'm not a fan of them because SP has shown their obvious favoritism for Hinata by giving her so much filler content, filler romantic moments with Naruto and trying to animate her the best while half-assing other characters and big moments (like that infamous part of the Pein fight). Also they sexualize her character 98% of the time, not a fan of that either.

But if I had a say I'd much rather most, if not all, of the characters just stayed single at the end of Naruto (maybe ShikaTema could still happen, idk). I get your annoyance with the NaruSaku fillers though. Just because I prefer it over trash ass NaruHina doesn't mean I think the NS fillers are acceptable. Imo fillers should just stay purely comedic as to not cause chaos like the Naruto fillers do. And yeah, seems like the NH and NS romantic fillers aim to make Naruto into a pervert. No thanks.

And if someone claims that Anime team hates Sakura, show them these scenes. Studio Pierrot probably don’t like SS, I guess, But they love NaruSaku. That’s why even in Boruto Anime, they go out of their way to add a scene between Sakura and Naruto in the last episode. Whereas in Manga, they are yet to share a scene together!!!

Again, I’ve never seen pure filler episodes that features Pinata. So, I couldn’t notice these things.

Whereas in Canon Episodes, Movies, Promos Posters.... Sakura was the prominent one. In my previous post, I’ve shown you how much Naruto was acting like a simp for Pinky in the canon episodes whereas they didn’t bother to add similar extra scenes for Pinata except for that Pain Arc confession episode (I mean inside canon episodes... not fillers)!!! 

All these scenes happen in the openings or endings.... ESPECIALLY AFTER THE THE PAIN ARC... If you notice properly, Naruto was seen walking along with SakuTrash,

he was doing a combination jutsu

and was seen running towards her and stops himself abruptly before getting very close to her face.... 

This above thing screams romance.... Whereas in Canon this was not how Naruto felt about Pinky really.... 

I know there is this Ending where Hinata and Naruto goes for Ramen Date... But that’s way too late to introduce her alongside Naruto. And that’s the only ending she shares along Naruto in a romantic sense. That’s why I said SP loves NS. Yes, SP might love Hinata separately... But in a shipping sense, they really went all out in the canon episodes for NS than they ever did for NH. And that’s why NH fandom hates Pinky with all passion.

And even Kishimoto himself said in an interview that the animators who were working in SP were thoroughly disappointed about NH, even Kishimoto’s wife included.

And I don't think it's a bad writing from Kishimoto's side or SP's side. Because I have seen Kishi written good and decent female characters having their own interests and stuffs eg, Tsunade. He intentionally wrote Hinata in that way and that SP is trying to exaggerate her into this Angelic Goddess.

Now, Tell me, Anon... Since when did Hinata displayed any characteristics of having her own interests????? You are claiming that Kishimoto fucked her up... As If Kishimoto wrote her so well in the beginning and then towards the very end he made her into a Housewife...... HE WROTE HER PERSONALITY TO REVOLVE AROUND A BOY RIGHT FROM CHAPTER 34...... And he never intended to change her... Not once. 

That's why I refuse to get into this 'Kishimoto is a Misogynist for writing Hinata and Sakura in a despicable way' Train. He wrote them intentionally to be like a brainless doll whose life choices entirely revolves around the boy because he wanted to show how Sasuke is better for Naruto than Hinata.... and how Naruto is better for Sasuke than Sakura. It doesn’t means he hate or disrespect women.

Hinata is a character who shares many similarities with Sasuke. But Sasuke was the one who did everything right when it comes to Naruto and all Hinata did was stalk, cry and guilt-trip.

[Link] I think Kishi wanted to compare and contrast between Hinata and Sasuke to show that Love has no Gender... Meaning... "There are people who will say, 'I Love You'... 'I would do anything for you'... 'I want to stand by you'.... But they will always expect something back for all their efforts they put on you... Whereas there are some people who never say anything out loud but they would show their love through their Actions and they would never expect anything in return..... Find such people and love them back"..... This above meaning perfectly suits for Sakura as well. I think rather than looking at a character for their Gender... like male and female... If we start to look everyone as Human Characters... then I think we can enjoy this series. But wishing for 50-50 representation for Women with a strong character development in a Shounen Manga is extremely pointless. 

I am aware that there are many other Shounen Manga with good female character development. But Naruto is not like other Shounen, Right??? Tell me How many Shounen series has a Bond like SNS?? Every SNS fans were saying the same thing that, there’s no other bond like SNS in any media. Because, Kishimoto wrote his main characters to be obsessive about each other and finally made them to find love in each other in a nuanced and round about way. Plus he was doing this from Chapter 3. 

And believe me, Sakura and Hinata type of characters exists in real life. I’ve been screwed up by a Real life Sakura many times. Kishimoto specifically chose those kind of Selfish & Insensitive characters to contrast with Unconditionally Loving & Sensitive characters like Naruto and Sasuke. 

Bad Writing or Misogyny has nothing to do with it. If that’s the case, there is this other 51 page One-Shot Manga named Mario which was also drawn by Kishimoto... [Link]. I suggest you to read it... It’s very good. The Female Lead's character, Saori, was very interesting and equally competent to his male lead, Mario. If Kishi was a real Misogynist, he would've made her into another Sakura and Hinata. But he didn't. This Saori girl will blow up your brains if you think about touching her. 

If he can write this kind of layered Woman Character in a span of 51 pages... I am pretty sure he could’ve done a lot better for Sakura and Hinata if he wanted to. But he simply chose not to.

After reading that anon's question about sasuke I just wanted to ask why is there so much hate towards sasuke in the fandom? If we compare him to Vegeta sasuke couldn't hold a light to him. Vegeta was the big bad in Saiyan saga and slowly became an antogonist but fans loved him. But Naruto fandom hates sasuke a lot. Why is it because of bad writing? Is it because he didn't satisfy Naruto's emotional needs? I just wanted to know your answer.

Yes. Because he doesn’t satisfy Naruto’s emotional needs, doesn’t satisfy sakura’s emotional needs. He’s also hot and popular with girls. He also stole screentime from naruto, sasuke has his own arcs. Basically, he has things naruto doesn’t, and he also competes with naruto. If you self insert into naruto and think you’re some underdog entitled to your escapist wish fulfilment in fiction, you’re be mad at sasuke, wouldn’t you? He’s constantly getting in the way of your wish fulfilment and remind you in reality girls like hot and smart dudes not class clown. But it makes me like sasuke, I hate underdog wish fulfilment for losers, he kept sabotaging naruto stans’ fantasy, it’s kinda funny.

In contrast, no one asks vegeta to satisfy their emotional needs, he doesn’t outshine Goku, he’s sorta just a punching bag after he’s resurrected. Tbh, real Vegeta fans hate how he’s written later in the series, he’s clever and entertaining in the Frieza arc.
