It makes him remember every instance of the past he cringes and does his best to avoid thinking on. Every tug of your hair, every shove to the floor, every time he made you feel small for something so superficial as not having a quirk.

Your tears were endless, and they seemed to spur on his daughter as well, her little sniffles making him nearly enraged as the door creeks open at the worst moment and the doctor returns.

The woman’s sympathetic gaze make him want to punch her, the way she seems understanding and not offended as himself.

“It can be a hard acceptance Mrs. Bakugo, I’m happy to recommend some quirkless support groups for the two of you, then we can look at some family care plans—,”

“What. The. Fuck. Are you talking about? Support group? They don’t need a fucking support group, your raggedy ass bitch—!”

His own eyes were admittedly wet as he shuts you both up in the car. Making sure you both are buckled in safely before he nearly screams once he’s seated behind the wheel. He wants to scream more, yell and break something to deal with the flood of guilt and shame washing him like an old friend.

He never apologized, only pushed it all away like the bullying and harassment never occurred when he started courting you. He’d been in love with you, and that bullying was his sick revenge for making him feel so much adoration for a single individual.

His frame engulfs the seat, muscles taunt and wide chest heaving as he calms down slowly to your silent tears and wobbly bottom lip.

“Katsuki… can we not have any discussions with her in the car…? Maybe we…,” you lick your lips as you fumble over yourself like a nervous wreck in the passenger seat, eyes wide and pacifying as you give him a look filled with a plea. “—Maybe we could have her stay with your mother tonight?”

Katsuki’s eyes widen before narrowing as he grits his teeth and bares them like a hurt animal, tears spilling as he slams his head on the steering wheel in frustration. The windows tinted and thankfully adding a touch of privacy he’s grateful for now.

“I’m sorry—!” It’s wobbly and hissed like a curse, his apology burning his throat as he forces it out. He can’t look at you as he wipes at his face, shaking his head as he clears it to focus long enough to repeat himself.

“I’m so fucking sorry—never, never did I think less of you ‘cuz you didn’t have a damn quirk—! I was an asshole, a piece of shit that didn’t know how to deal with my crush on you, so I fucking ruined it by picking on you.” His eyes are blood shot, kept wide to prevent anymore liquid spillage but the way his entire face and body scrunch up, it’s difficult to believe he’s able to stop himself on sheer will alone.

“Papa…?” It’s like a slap to the face when he looks over at his daughter to see a spitting image of you both in her, features more like him but personality following you in a way that makes him melt.

“Y’listen good,” he gathers himself up better as he addresses your daughter now. “You will never be less than anyone else, quirk or no quirk, y’hear me?”

“But—,”

“No buts. It’s not up for debate. A quirk doesn’t classify a person’s value. It never has. We just associate them with power when in fact, a bunch of useless quirk havin’ shit stains run the country. A quirk ain’t power kid, power is in will, and that’s all you.” He’s glad you kindly dismiss his slip in language, watching as her little eyes widen and well with tears too.

“So I’m not bad?”

“You’re the best damn thing that’s happened since I met your mom. I love your mom, don’t I? She’s great even if she doesn’t have a quirk. Strong and resilient, patient and smarter than I’ll ever be.” He’s gripping the steering wheel so tight it may break soon if he doesn’t release his grip.

Then he’s being met with you. Your arms wrapping around him, your own muffled cries in his shirt. His hands are around you just as quickly, pulling you into him as much as the small space in the vehicle allows, breathing you in and calming himself as he reaches out and unbuckles your daughter to pull her little body into the bear hug too.

“You mean it…?” Your whisper barely audible as he holds you both close.

And that’s enough for this moment. While he’s not a great man, Katsuki truly never lies, sometimes honest to a point it’s painful.

Random thoughts about Pit Babe the series ep 6.

▪️Charlie and Babe are back in their blissful happiness. They are again very much in love and describing each other as boyfriends. I found it a bit cringe when they called each other Papa and Mama but everyone has their own kink, I wouldn't judge them if they enjoy this kind of pet name.

-Now if Jacaerys called Reader "mom" in public that would make the whole court talk about it. Above all, people would point out how the princess's own son seemed to prefer Reader more and how she seems to be a better mother. Besides that Daemon loves the fact that Reader is a dragon rider and knows how to fight, I'm sure that on more than one occasion they fought among themselves and went flying together. But I feel like everything changes between them once Jacaerys is born. Daemon always admired Reader's fire and expected a reaction, he hoped she would make Harwin and Rhaenyra pay. Then he was disappointed to see that she did nothing. Before his eyes, Reader now became the same as the rest of the women of Westeros, letting herself be trampled on by her husband. And Reader is not stupid, she realizes how Daemon sees her now or treats her like before. This is sad because Daemon is only frustrated with Reader because he knows she has potential and he knows she's smart enough to find a way to get rid of Harwin but she still endures the humiliation of Harwin and Rhaenyra's affair. But what ends up breaking the friendship between Reader and Daemon are: The deaths of Laena and Laenor and the wedding of Daemon and Rhaenyra.

AHHH!!! i adore this. i don’t have set-in-stone headcanons about ALL of this quite yet. i’ll just list some things i DO know for sure☺️

i’ve headcanoned for years that renée and maurice both said mama first, but juliette said papa first 🥺 she’s been a papa’s girl since the BEGINNING.

i don’t quite know how it happens with renée, but i do know that she was saying mama for like WEEKS before she finally said papa. it became a joke. adam kept being like “no i get it :/ she just doesn’t like me :/“ and belle would be like >:0 STOP IT!!!!!!!! the same way they were when belle was pregnant with her and she wouldn’t kick for him lmao. i don’t know how she eventually says papa, but gosh, adam just explodes the first time he hears it. the first time his own child sees him and knows for certain that he’s her papa 🤧

for juliette, she was sitting on belle’s lap, and adam walked in. belle said “ah! there’s papa!” and juliette just suddenly said “papa!🤗” which SHOCKED adam and belle. juliette didn’t really start speaking until she was around 2, (just like her father, which no one realized until one day they were venting their worries about her to mrs. potts and she was like “don’t even worry. adam didn’t start speaking until that age either!” and he was like HUH??? - which leads to a whole spiral about how his father treated him and such… which then leads to adam feeling so sad and scared and not wanting his baby to have the struggles that he has… but belle reminds him that she already has so much more support and love in her life. even if she has his struggles, she’ll always be loved and cared for. which heals something deep inside adam ❤️)

gosh, so anyway, little two year old juliette looks up at her father and says “papa!” and both adam and belle are like !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! adam immediately goes to sit next to them and he’s grinning so wide and he says “yes! yes very good! i am papa!” and he picks her up and kisses her cheek and sits her on his lap and she says it again and adam and belle are laughing and kissing her head. it’s a beautiful moment 🥹

i also have an almost-done wip of the first time reecy says mama. belle was laying with him on the bed, trying to get him to nap with her. he was like exactly a year old, very babbly and wiggly. already very nearly walking too. but anyway, belle’s laying there with him, and she says something like “let’s rest awhile. will you rest with mama?” and he looks at her with those big blue eyes and grins and says “mama!!😁” and belle’s like !!! AH!! 😄😄 and snuggles with him and celebrates it and he keeps saying it, seeing how happy it makes her. it becomes even harder to settle down for a nap after that, but belle doesn’t even care!!!

so i guess adam DOES miss that moment!! but i think reecy easily says it again later on when adam was there, which of course warms adam’s heart 🥰

i also think they all say a rough form of the dog’s name, sylvie, like “seevee” or “sivy” pretty early on as well. i’ve even debated if maurice says that first, before he says mama. that may be the case!!!! they also all say “book” pretty quickly too. and like. who can be surprised.

FIRST STEPS THOUGH… agh. i’m even less certain about honestly

i’m not sure about the girls, though i know renée started walking at like 9-10 months old (which is sooner than average) and juliette was nearly 2 (which, as you can surmise, is later than average).

maurice though i think he did it WITH his sisters. i got this from a video i saw once, i’ll send it to you, it was literally 3 kids like the same dynamic as adam & belle’s. 2 girls roughly kid age (though they’re a bit older in the video, but same vibe) and a baby boy. and the video was him playing with the girls, and he was standing at a toy play thing. and he started reaching for the older girl, and it was clear that he had been on the cusp of figuring it out for a bit, so the girl quickly backed up and held a toy away for him to reach for. the baby boy then kept reaching and TOOK HIS FIRST STEPS!!!! he walked a few steps to her and fell into her lap. it’s SOOO cute and ever since i saw that, i’ve integrated it into my canon. i think that’s totally how maurice took his first steps. it Makes Sense that it would happen with his sisters 😭 and obviously in the video, a parent was recording, but idk where adam and belle are for this moment! maybe they’re there and watching, or MAYBE this is a crazy occurrence that happens for a split second when they’re both not looking. only looking up when they hear the excited cheers from their beloved children 🥹🫶

I figured I would share some personal headcannons about the kiddos just for fun!

I always imagined the Weir-Fields kids as twins for some reason. I can imagine the reader telling Calvin after an appointment that there’s two in there and him nearly passing out. They’d be partners in crime for life.

I can see Auggie growing up to be a teacher. He knew how his father grew up and never wants a kid to feel the way he did. August fortunately grew up around pure love from his parents and wants to pass that down to his students.

When Scout grows up and starts dating, Percy is definitely that dad who tries to intimidate the boy and goes undercover to follow them around town.

Olive and Juni would be best friends and would hang out together at every family event. They’ve both got spunk and sometimes their parents have to tell them to quiet down.

Ariel is like how I was as a kid—a diva but not disrespectful. She’s that girl who the teachers tell “this is a school, not a beauty salon”. She’s a mama’s girl until she grows older and comes to appreciate her dad’s nerdiness.

2. What was their earliest memory?

Playing with her dads cat, Peter, on their living room rug together, but she doesn't remember what they were doing.

4. What were their first words?

Dada and then papa within the same week probably. Both her dads are convinced she meant him when she first said dada, but it remains a mystery.

6. When were they fully potty trained?

ur gonna make me research.. probably 2, a seemingly appropriate age I think

8. How often did they throw temper tantrums? What were they usually about?

She wouldn't have them that often because she was an only child and got what she wanted most of the time... and when she wouldn't she;d get upset and cry real toddler baby tears until it was resolved.

10. How easy (or hard) was it to take care of them?

She was an easy baby, but the terrible twos hit hard. She had lots of fits about little toddler things (not being allowed to feed ducks, not getting her way, getting the purple cup instead of the pink one). But her dads were patient and knew it wouldnt last forever, they tried to practice gentle parenting and would calmly explain to her why she couldnt do something, although that hardly stopped her from the fits. So she was fairly easy to take care of until she had fits.

12. Were they a fussy eater?

Yes, which disappointed her chef dad for a bit, but then he just used it as inspiration to make recipes with hidden vegetables and stuff. She liked any form of carb or potato though, but unfortunately toddler issy couldnt and wasnt allowed to live off tater tots 😔

14. What kinds of toys did they like?

She liked stuffed animals and dolls and dress up, especially when her dads played with her

16. What kind of discipline were they subjected to? Was it lenient or strict?

During her early years (3-grade school aged), she would get put in time outs for as many minutes as she was old, but her dads would explain to her why she was in time out and make her apologize if it was needed, they would try not to yell at her because they didnt want her to be afraid of them, they wanted to form a healthy relationship and sometimes that meant having a short time out for doing something bad. Later on in her life when she could understand punishments her dads would sometimes take her phone away, or have natural consequences mostly

18. What was their favorite childhood memory? Their least favorite?

Favourite is when she met her little brother and her first trip to Hawaii to see her mom, all in one good memory. Her least favourite memory was when her fish died when she was 6 because she fed it 15 times in one day, she'll be a great mom

20. What was their relationship like with their parents? How different was it than currently?

She loved her dads, she couldn't ask for better ones to raise her. Growing up she'd secretly try to think of which one she liked more, but it would always end up being a tie, which I think is how it's supposed to be. Recently this past year she and her dads have been having some tension, just because she's seen Duncan (her bio dad) so many times, and they don't approve of him as a person. But she still always goes to them for help, and cries to them about Duncan.

22. Did they have any pets growing up?

Yesss, a cat named Peter that is still alive out of spite, and a fish for like one day and then never again

24. Did they have any caretakers besides their parents?

Sometimes she stayed with her chef dads parents, and also Gemma her bio mama for a few days here and there.

26. What was their first major loss?

Her fish dying, that was the first in her childhood that she remembers, but her grandpa also died when she was 5 and she went to Hawaii for the funeral but it was more seen as a happy family get together to her at 5

28. Did your muse have any nicknames as a child? If so, what were they? Did they give nicknames to others?

Her dads called her bunny or bun, and her grandma actually started calling her Issy which was shortened to Is, but that was more an older grade school nickname.
