Maybe my writing is totally shit. Maybe it's boring and repetitive. Maybe nobody cares.

But do I care about these characters? Do I care enough to write about them? To tell their story?

Yes. I do.

So I'll continue to write.

Because if I don't tell their story, then who will?

#ive been rewatching episode 7 like its the only thing on youtube and made note of many things #first off. the solver can only have one host. nori mentions skyn wants to kill off all the other solver hosts (with the dds) and disregards #the idea of both uzi and doll being its current host when they get chased #plus the main solver possessions only occur when skyn is out of the picture (the fightt in ep 7 is only after n decapitates “tessa”)#solver uzi is possible too but i dont count her cause she doesn't have the yellow #personal theory is that its more an instinctual response to overheating or something and not full on possession #second off nori calls the solver cyn. how does she know that name #cyn was on earth and only showed up to copper 9 recently and i presume nori's been here her whole life #it probably wasn't the other dds cause none of them made it down and they're all more savage beasts #since cyn specifies n's team retained their personalities and that makes me think the other teams didnt #also also we should've immediately questioned tessa arriving in the same type of pod as the mds when they were revealed to not be sent by j #im running out of characters also the people who dont like when i use tags like this can bite me #murder drones #murder drones nori #artori? that sounds cool #ill probably just stick with nori though #i have so many solver heart refs now #art #episode 7 #murder drones episode 7 #murder drones episode 7 spoilers #using the same black for shadows as my lineart doesn't work when i have to draw thin things over it #murder drones spoilers

I enjoy that he is very flawed and volatile.#This episode of the audio drama has a lot of great breakdown scenes featuring JC - and they all deserve a feature.#But underlying this comic is a small meta comment of 'ah man I have too many comics of JC just wailing sadly'#My goal is to draw 6-8 comics per episode - I sometimes have to truncate and cut good scenes out.#Especially when a large majority is just different flavours of trauma and toxic relationships to your self-worth.#I would also like to make a note here that just because you lose the ability to do something that is very tied to your core identity-#-does not mean your life is over. It will feel like the end of the world. It will send you into a spiral of grief. It will hurt so badly.#Sometimes we do not realize how tied up our identities can be in certain things until we are cut loose.#You don't lose yourself. I promise the pain will fade in time. I promise you will find other things to tether you. I promise you will be ok #Life moves forwards. Time moves forwards. You move forwards.#Ego death just means an opportunity for ego rebirth. You are never committed to being the same person forever.#To wrap this around to JC: Yeah I love the twist with the core transfer but man I would have loved to see JC accept the loss.#Obviously it happens for a reason (story) but I can have my AUs. so I made the mistake of listening to the character songs sung by the voice actors and it sparked a buggy centric mad max style musician/music au and I cant get it out of my head here is a google doc with all the details and my reasonings

I tried not to change much about one piece's wacky world since I love it so much

#one piece #buggy the clown #dracule mihawk #sir crocodile #red haired shanks #myarttt #I was also thinking 'in what world could buggy be the main character' and i was like if one piece was centered around preformance ....#hence buggy centric #I have ideas for the straw hats too but theyre really loose #zoro using a three headed guitar which exists and is super cool #nami is their social media manager and also drives the bus till they get jimbei of course ussop is hypeman and manages the bus too #I waffled a lot between drums or main singer for luffy and sanji #because sanji has beautiful stage presence and voice but gets forgotten like a drummer would #vs luffy who is VERY drum coded but also MAIN presence #the straw hat is still the strawhat in this universe and follows the same progression #oh yea mihawks guitar pick is special because it doubles as a beer opener #ALSO ALSO THE COOLEST THING crocs saxophone design is based on a real one handed saxophone that is SUPER awesome #it was custom made for a sax player and there is like a pdf of its design online #these designs are pre crossguilds also I have a whole makeover idea for when they decide to do the crossguilds #that ill draw eventually

At first I really wanted to make him like- completely unnoticeable and nobody fuggin remembers him despite being a member JDHDHFHHF- but I wanted to make him interact with Dr.Stone so instead he’s a member thats just rarely seen anymore (Wally totally didn’t get rid of him cause he kept being fuggin annoyin)

kinda all brawls no brains like sally- used to chaotically collect debts peeps have with the ol mob (still does but significantly less since now he’s a fetcher for Dr Stone for more harder to get goods the mob needs. The mob technically can go without the help of Dr.Stone, however he is a middle man that knows just about everything needed for successful heists/deals with his knowledge and name alone)

also? This dude doesn’t know what a bed is he sleeps on just about anything (can sleep like a baby face first in a trash can)
