i spent my morning at the DMV and it was the absolute worst way to spend my morning, 0/10 do not recommend

#personal #I’m just here to ramble to get it out lol #I got there when it opened and it was a TWO hour wait #my anxiety was already high for some reason it’s been out of control recently #so I’m already just…shaking going in lol #and this woman cuts in line ahead of a huge group of us and I was next so I had to go in and say ‘excuse me we’re all in line too’#she was so nice but I was so nervous my tone was mean 😭#we waited in dollar tree #(their fall and Halloween decor is on POINT it’s so cute btw)#oh yeah— we meaning me and the beans lol they were with me #and they were being such troopers right until we went inside since we were waiting outside #I miss my que because of it and the girls are screaming and crying and I have this huge stroller and everyone is so obviously annoyed at me #and THEN I give a bean my keys to try and calm her down and she takes them and #sets off my car alarm #and this woman comes in yelling about my car and I have to say ‘YUP THAT’S ME I’m not going to turn it off I’m almost done here thank you’#😭😭😭#and then my picture!! I obviously look like I’m having a mental breakdown in it #I look like a thumb 😭#but it’s done #I have my new license with my new name #it is done lol #I def went to try car to cry 😭#I wasn’t mad at the beans though I felt bad for them 🥺#ANYWAY #Imma go eat a salad because my tummy hurts 😭

#sending you all so much love #it's crazy how a year has zipped by #every so often i'll come by and check up on the dash and i love seeing all the familiar names <33 #I'll prolly write a more official post in the new year at some point #but im so eager for this work contract to end at the end of this year #im grateful for the job in many ways but in others it was really burnt me out and drained me #ready to turn a new leaf in the new year #and hopefully get some of my creative motivation back when my mind clears #ive put even art/painting on the sidelines as well this year which is something im sad about #but on the positives I think ive had a lot of personal and emotional growth this year that im really proud of!!#(still dont have a driver's license though.. LOL OOP)#and ive really worked on my anxiety and depression. like even if this job is burning out and depressing me// I don't feel DEPRESSED ya kno.#ive just been experiencing a lot of personal growth and change #and the people around me in my life have told me that they've seen changes in me this year too so :')#BUTTTTTT #I so so miss my creative outlets and I feel like I've neglected that this year #I went from escapism to fully avoiding the outlets so now I think it's time to transition into the healthy middle #anywaaaay #hope yall have been doing amazing #love u all and ill probably pop in here for the holidays <33 #blows u all kisses #ooc #tbd

u know what?? the san jose sharks franchise in san jose, ca really did say trans rights bc changing my name as a season ticketholder in that organization has been five thousand percent less painful than like. almost everything else

I know I barely post anymore but I officially changed my name today (my spouse did too actually!) and I almost cried when the judge said my name change was approved. I'm so ready to be rid of my deadname and not have people doubt my ID

#I'm also very overwhelmed by all the next steps of changing my name on everything #but i have a checklist lol #and once i have a new driver license i can finish taking the tests for the apprenticeship I'm in #theyre proctored online through proctoru and the last guy really spent like 15 minutes trying to verify i was the person on my ID

any time ive had to sit down and write this year has been ruinedddd lmao

#first we had to move bc NOT NAMING NAMES (ex father in law) had a cute little bender and made that house Uncomfortable and Unsafe #so then i was busy moving #and then every day i had off last week i ended up getting called into work #and then today i only have a late/short shift but our fridge broke so i need to help roman bring the new one up #and then friday im off again so im going to try and get some stuff done on the drive down #but TECHNICALLY/LEGALLY i cant use my computer while “supervising” my partner driving bc its like a distraction and bc theyre on their L's #i cant be distracted either #like the way the licenses work while someone is on their L's the supervising driver adheres to the same laws as the learner #so i cant be drinking/on my phone or if we get pulled over it affects them too #its strange to explain but thats how it is lmao #ive never been pulled over on the drive but idk i might try to do some stuff and if i see highway patrol ill shove it under the seat lmao #DAMN IM A CHATTY KATHY TODAY #「mercury speaks」

You know what. I'm trying not to be but I'm really mad. I went to the post office to try and get photo ID so I can finish updating my legal documents, but they couldn't help me... Cause to get the photo ID I need the other legal documents in the correct name...... But I don't have them because they require the photo ID from the post office......... The photo ID that I can't get because I don't have the documents that require photo ID to be updated................. This is the worst loop and I've been stuck since February

#i need to fucking say it cause I'm getting more and more cranky #The lady at the post office was very nice and tried to ask her manager if there was any way she can get it for me with what i had #but she couldn't :''''''(#i had to travel a few suburbs over to get to a big post office cause the little ones don't do photo ID.. so that was a few hours wasted lol #I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO UPDATE MY SHIT SINCE FEBRUARY BUT IT'S SOOOO FUCKING HARDDDDD #IT TAKES ME TIME TO GET TO IT CAUSE I'M FUCKING BUSY ALL THE TIME AND RARELY EVER HAVE TIME DURING WORK HOURS #WHICH ARE THE ONLY TIMES GOV SERVICES ARE OPEN.... Nature Is Healing <3 (adding events to my Google Calendar again)

#I need to get diagnosed with SOMETHING man wtf #gene talks #My initial theory was that because I had caffeine past 12pm #and I've been trying very hard to not do that bcus I think that as Ive gotten older I have become hit with this massive unprecedented wave #of Being Impacted by Caffeine and I thought it was impacting my sleep #and I certainly think that having coffee after noon is definitely not a good idea for me anymor #but also I have been very awake for too long bcus I am so nervous about starting a new job on Friday #and also having to tell my Dad that I'm spending the night up north bcus I know itll make him sad #but it also hit me very hard that even though I want to live with Liam living Northstate instead of Centralstate means that I have to #start my hour long commute at 630am every Tuesday and Thursday #and uhhh I dont want to do that lmao #so I got freaked out and started looking for apartments and then somehow found a very perfect one so HOPEFULLY we can move in soon #I still have to go to school up north so its a small victory but at least i dont have to start my commute at 630 am if i have a place to #crash in the central state #anyway then I kept looking at information on the apartment and got very excited about my find #and then I started thinking about all the other things I need to do so now Im typing out this post and thinking about Trello #gonna probably reuse it now that i understand how kanban boards work lmao #so I have sort of been up all night with a weird combination of anxiety and maybe borderline mania but thats neither here nor there #Anyway time to make an appointment for the DMV to get a new freaking license with my new freaking legal name on it yiipppeeeee!!!

Finally, the moving chaos has an end in sight… everything is unpacked and put away, and it’s just minor tidying up and rearranging a few things I’m not entirely sure on the placement of. All of which will be easier to decide now that the altitude sickness is wearing off. And I met my new computer today! (It won’t go on here though until I get it fully set up with my school software… my old one is still with me and kicking in the meantime)

#insanitypost #moving sucks #never before have I had altitude sickness take me down so hard #i think the tornado warning conditions on top of it made it worse #did have ONE small hiccup getting my school-licensed Microsoft office downloaded that tied up most of today #other than that the new computer seems great so far #i haven’t named it yet… I have to decide on a name I can yell at it with when it’s misbehaving during assignments as tradition #we get to be stressed together (me over whatever assignment or upcoming exam and the computer over all the open documents and tabs)
