You had been in a close proximity, one that you were rarely granted. But this, by far, was the most common way:

Right now, you were cheek to cheek with Alastor as you danced, his humming and hands guiding you along the makeshift dance floor. The lobby was full of similar dancing, everyone having a great time. Reopening was going off without a SINGULAR hitch! The music was perfect, everyone was enthralled...

That was, until Alastor spun you into his embrace, hands ghosting along your hips. Your mind raced with a risky idea as he was about to spin you back around. You tried to reason with yourself... But the Devil on your shoulder overtook you. You ground your ass onto Alastor, meek at first as you gazed back at him.

The Radio Demon sputters as he tried to get you to cease, but you just reached behind yourself, hand tangling in his hair as your hips moved again.

You gazed back at him with half lidded eyes, grinning," What's the matter, Al~? Never danced like this before?"

The growl that came through his chest made you squeak; you were spun suddenly, barely missing the twitch in his smile. Your arms flailed for purchase, landing on Alastor's shoulders as he dipped you into a dangerously low angle.

"Dear, this is an important evening. Please, refrain from this nonsense. People are present."

You grinned, hiking a leg up his as you pulled on his lapel. The cheap champagne you drank gave you courage. You were brought back to your feet as Alastor disguised your bickering with a close-knit tango, his hand gripping your waist tightly. A few poses were struck that went with the music, your head thrown back as you smile. Even now, you were unable to contain your grin. And Alastor knew that spelt trouble.

"If you want me to stop..."

You fall flush against him again, a hand on the one that gripped your waist. as you gave him a particularly sensual grind. You felt Alastor grunt against your scalp, your leg raising against his once more,"...then make me~"

You yelped as Alastor spun the both of you, lifting you up into the air with ease. You threw both arms out as you were aloft, arms coming back in when Alastor dips you again, this time a hand tracing your collarbone.

"Darlin'...," he drawled, without a filter, making your throat run dry," You don' know what you've just asked for..." As Alastor brought you back to your feet, Alastor takes your wrist and leads you from the dance floor," 'Mama said it wuzn't nice to stare... Mama said it wuzn't nice to tease. Mama never said I c'uldn't make y'scream."

As you rounded the corner, Alastor slams you against the wall, his breath already ragged," And Doll... I'll make sure you wail like'a bitch in heat."

Idle Thoughts around Armored Core 6 Mission - Intercept the Redguns

Spoilers obviously.

Throught the game, you are faced with seemingly, at least from the other characters viewpoint, impossible odds. Scaling a wall people can't get close, nicknaming you Wallclimber.

Defeating one of the top weapons from a previous civilization, nicknaming you Worm Killer.

But this post is not about that, no, this is about the conversation between the other corporate soldiers from Balam. For some reason, the entire dialogue between the soldiers and G1 Michigan, Hell on Four Legs, struck a nerve with me. Particularly the lines (paraphrasing, to busy staing alive in the fight to pay too much attention): "We want some glory too, you have so many medals from before." a soldier says. G1 replies: "They are real handy, they go really far when you throw them." That, that right there made me pause the game and think. Just for half a minute or so, but still.

These soldiers go into the fight basically laughing that one singular mercenary has gone to defeat them all, to slowly realizing that this unstoppable force of nature in a mech decimating their entire squad... And all they want is a little piece of glory, a medal. "...they go really far when you throw them."

I love this game, this is my second time playing through it, like a full playthorugh with all the endings. I love this game. I did not really pay attention the first time, I just focused on the relationship between Rusty and Raven.

I don't know how to end this, so yeah... At least my head is somewhat empty right about now, I might do this again sometime, this cleared the air for me regarding this mission, maybe I am gonna do it for some other ones too. ^^

Vacuo was the last kingdom standing, apparently. A place that Neo hated, but also a great place to easily hide. Here, rules were a bit weaker than in other places- survival of the fittest, so to say, and the fauna of this side of the continent was probably even worse than Grimm at times.

But the mute had a goal, a reason to why she came back to Remnant in the first place or, to be more precise, the reason of why they let her free to come back here again.

She moved among the criminals even here, not to find alliance, but to find information in case that Salem's goons were sent here, and consequently, Cinder.

And unfortunately (?) for the Fall Maiden, the now half-feline found out about the shady and small room she was living at for the time being, before their next move, Neo assumed.

So now...she stood in front of the room's door, accompanied by an illusion of her deceased and old companion Roman Torchwick.

While she had enough time to grow in the Ever After and accept that he was gone, that didn't stop the illusionist from showing off her evolved Semblance, specially if she was about to invade Cinder's space after this long, when she probably thought that she was DEAD.

Knock knock knock.

Roman smiled behind the door, alongside the mute, and then raised his voice with a chuckle.

"Is anybody there? Surely! You've missed seeing us, right? It wasn't very nice of you to try and get rid of Neo here-"

camping was entertaining when he was younger, when all the worries he had was whether or not the ones he'd share the cabin with would be annoying company, or otherwise, a enjoyable one. but at the age, surrounded by younger people, Kade didn't feel like he had a break.

so he took the latest time of the day, with the moon full and standing in the middle of the sky, to go to the shower stall and enjoy a brief moment of privacy, letting the water drop. unfortunatenyl, because he had been waiting, he hadn't known the door was broken when choosing the first he saw, and by the time that he turned around with his hair foamy from teh shampoo, he found himself exposed to (accidentally) preying eyes, and a surprise gagged jaw.
