Just read dream's canon character analysis so in honor heres some miscellaneous dream headcanons

ermmm i still feel like I don't know dream completely and will probably reread the analysis a few times. so sorry if its still ooc AJSMAJ.

- he doesn't care for cursing. He doesn't have anything against people who do. He just doesn't think to do it. That, and in the role he is in he thinks he probably shouldn't do it anyway, even if he wanted to, cause like hes a symbol or whatever. However do not insult other with your swearing or he will bonk you ("thats not very nice!!")! or curse in front of children.

- He uses those goofy replacements for curses, like H E double hockey sticks or FUDGE!!

- When he gets upset or embarrassed his voice cracks, alot. He's a little embarrassed by it.

- to add onto that his scream is incredibly high pitched. so much that it hurts to hear, like your ears will start ringing.

- While he often doesn't have the time, he picked up the habit of reading books. He has a different taste then his brother, but he finds the act of doing it nostalgic and comforting in a way? He likes reading them out loud as well, even when reading to himself. But he also finds pleasure in reading to others as well. Like telling bedtime stories to help others sleep.

- his favorite ponies from mlp would be celestia, twilight and fluttershy. i think hed also like magical girl anime.

- He lovessss flowers, all types!! He makes flower crowns sometimes as well. He loves yellow flowers the most, sunflowers, buttercups, marigolds pompons, daises etc.

- He loves to dance, i feel. Like it isn't uncommon that when idle dream will just bop his head his head to a beat that isn't there or hum softly. He'd be the guy who dances in room when playing music. He likes elegant dances the most, things like the waltz, tango or paso doble.

- He doesn't need sleep to survive, but he does function less optimally without it after awhile. He can go way longer than most people without it, but it can definitely catch up to him. Like it can lessen reaction time/brain function (or whatever the hell is up in that noogin of his). Everyone needs a mental break after all.

- he had a tamagatchi once, he left alone too long and it died and he cried. where did he get it? idk multiverse probably has a tamagatchi out there.

- we know he loves sweets, but i imagine he loves baked goods the most. Along with those hard drop candies.

-he likes drinking tea with milk. he cant stand bitter things. he prefers warm drinks over cold.

- He did eventually fix his cape, but updated it to look more sun? like? instead of there justing being a sun there. along with some other clothing updates :3

-when he blushes it makes the mlp squee noise

Hi! I came back to say that I finished "The Return of Midnight Sparkle" and I liked it. I did have some nitpicks, like how Sunset felt like and edgelord sometimes and that I kinda knew that Sunset and Twi were going to get together because of the sequel (which is apperently in hiatus). My fav chapter was "Do over" because of how cute Twilight's love confession was. When I make my fimfiction acount and make that G4/G5 crossover fic, I will shoutout that story and The End Of All Things, as inspirations/influences.

Also, Flurry Heart doesn't exist since Cadence and Shinning Armor had a divource (what even is your opinion on Flurry Heart anyways?)

Lmao yeah, thats the funny thing, return of midnight was my FIRST fic, so i'm already looking back at it and cringing a little bit. don't get me wrong, its a passion project and i'm fond of what I did, but compared to what I do now? DAYUM, its inferior. ...And yeah I am guilty of writing Sunset to be a bit too edgy. I call this the dapperlilarts ocfication process, in which most characters have some degree of imposter syndrome, and the more they have it, the edgier they become lmao. Sunset Shimmer wearing masquera and laying on the floor listening to cold play now lmao. And yeah, the classic sequel issue, if you see that there's more, you know that they're gonna be fine, mostly. Shimmerverse is my biggest project ever and I DO recommend it, but I think I recommend you checking out my other one shots first, smth more casual and fun. (Also the Princess and the Peasant is much more chill and neither applejack nor rarity are edgelords, its my favorite fic I've written <3) I erased flurryheart because if Cadance was together with Shining, itd be easier for sunset to be emotionally okay with being 'some guy' with twilight lmao. I did it to increase the emotional turmoil. My ACTUAL stance on Flurryheart is this: Babies don't have 'character' or 'personality' in media, they're usually just babies, just magguffins. Even on mlp, if you try to make the argument that flurryheart is throwing tantrums and wanting attention, that's just what babies do, man. BUT, what babies represent, is the love of the parents. if you want your audience to care for a baby, you need to make them care about the parents first, and boom, it'll be an easy way for the audience to be REALLY stressed at the prospect of the characters they love to lose their child, or even see her hurt. Here's the thing tho... Flurryheart is none of this. Shining and Cadance both made their first appearance when they were getting MARRIED. their relationship had zero buildup and no real audience investment. Lets face it, no one watches the wedding episode because of those two, they watch it because of Chrysalis. (love u bug babe)

I guarantee you that 9 times out of 10 in stories where the protagonist is like "I HAVE TO RESCUE MY BABY!" The plot doesnt work, because the baby is as empty as a magguffin. If you want to make that narrative work, you need the parental love to be real. Make the audience care about the parents and their love, and their love to their baby, and boom. Easy win.

So when cadance and shining announce theyre having a baby, its like... Oh okay that checks out I guess? they've been in like 5 episodes MAYBE. We care more about flurryheart as Twilight being an aunt then shining and cadance being parents-- And it doesnt help that the show makes endless jokes about them both being incredibly stressed and overworked because flurryheart is being a handful. It makes it feel like they either regret it or having a child was a bad idea, which is sad. and on top of all of that, Flurryheart is the first ever born alicorn, that is meant to be HUGE!! ...But it doesnt amount to anything. there's a real story that could be told relating to how earning power is really diffrent from being born with it, and how that priviledge changes you and could make you irresponsible. (LOOK AT DISCORD) The idea of a story where Flurry has to learn to be humble and responsible because she was literally born into godhood is potentially interesting! its like if superman wasn't raised by farmers, but by the monarchy. But there's no narrative at all with flurryheart! And by the time g5 rolls around, shes completely discarded as if opaline murdered her off screen.

So in the end we have so much potential wrapped on a nothing burger that amounts to nothing, the entire cadance family is just wasted, really. Messed up. G5 could have been about flurryheart and luster dawn finding their place in the world. there's a billion things you could do.

I'm gonna talk about blizto again (its negative and my opinion)  

In my last Blizto post (shameless plug. Also, I was kinda right about Fizz forgiving him. I'm a prophet ) I listed why I didn’t like blizto but now... 

I feel no sympathy towards Blizto  

nothing!  

Is it just me?   

Frankly I feel nothing towards him  

(you know I visibly frown when he shows up screen sometimes and I have to like catch myself like hey he's the main character dumb dumb he’s going to be on screen lol)  

Now this could because bilzto isn't my type of character you know? When I was younger, I always avoided mean characters or main characters I've always picked side characters or other side main Characters over the main important character for instance I never liked Steven from Steven Universe, but I liked Garnet and Peridot. I hated Twilight (mlp) as kid and don’t get younger me started when she became a princess, I was so unhappy. I wanted Rarity or Fluttershy to become a princess not her. I never cared for Bloom from Winx's club, but I did like Aisha and Stella.  

And to be fair when I got past my hate boner, I grew to tolerate them, but I’ve never rolled my eyes as much as I do with blizto  

And it’s not like I don’t like mean characters I'm a villain girly all the way I like Loona’s bully in Queen Bee Vicky.

I like striker, and I also think Stella is the tiniest bit funny (I don’t condone what she does obviously but like you know when she's on screen I'm not bored) when I was obsessed with Danganronpa I loved Byakuya, Nagito, and Kokichi I also liked Celestia, Mondo, Fuyuhiko, Hiyoko, yada yada. When I was over the moon about black butler I love Alois, Claude, William and so on. I love a good mean character  

but that being said

I don’t care about him at all and I like Stolas (sometimes) I feel bad for him (sometimes) but anytime Blizto has his sad woe is me moments (I mean Stolas does this too and I have my grievance with him of course but like this isn't about him lol) like him crying on the couch at the end of Ozzie's, him crying on the couch at the end of Queen Bee, his trip in Truth Seekers, his mom dying, or his sister hating him. My face is bone dry but helluva has never made me cry so...  

I also think that the reason I have a hard time sympathizing with him is because of how blizto (and stolas) never really have a moment where they’re forced to face the consequences of their actions every problem is solved, forgotten or put on the back burners to be solved through text.  

No, I'm not letting that go screw you >:( 

Stolas literally gets hospitalized and is fine an episode later yeah, no that’s fine. No need to look into that. No need to really sit and let that stew for minute. That’s not important or anything. No need to get Biltzo’s view on this or anything

Not to mention most of his sad feel bad for me moments are like his own fault. There's self-sabotage and then there's this:  

like him being sad that Barbie doesn’t want him in her life and him being all ‘:(’ and I was like yeah, no shit idiot. She most likely has told him to leave her alone more than once, the rehab nurse said not look for her, didn’t tell you she left rehab, and she was hard to find online obviously she doesn’t want you in her life what’s not clicking smart guy?  

No honestly what did he expect to happen? Her to just well up with tears and hug him? Not to mention she lost her job because of him granted she would have lost it regardless because her plug was a target by IMP but still. That also added salt to the wound.  

Blitzo is like wow my feeling are hurt in ways I could have avoided how could this have happened?  

His whole thing at Ozzie's. he could have just said nothing and let Moxxie get picked on. You know I don’t even know why he stood up for them in the first place. Is that not out of character or him? Like he will take almost any opportunity to shit on moxxie what changed now? and it isn't like a ‘only I can pick on him thing’ he lets Loona make fun of him, let striker, and Millies family pick on him I mean come on he even joins in. What changed that made him want to stick up for the M&Ms? Other than narrative push also he knows Versoiska and Fizzarolli are in Ozzie’s 2 people he hates 2 people he has beef with why are you speaking? He could have saved his little crying session if he didn’t say anything. (This also goes for Queen bee as well. Honestly the whole queen bee problem could have been avoided if blitzo kept his mouth shut)  

Also how did he and stolas even get in? Moxxie had to wait for almost a year or so for seats to Ozzie’s because it’s always booked... also it must cost a little money to go realistically speaking and it's not like Stolas paid or even got them seats because Stolas didn’t even know they were at Ozzie's to being with. This whole episode shouldn’t have even happened from a continuity standpoint because Stolas and Blizto shouldn’t have been able to get into Ozzie's in the first place! Lol

Blitzo when something goes wrong after he literally caused it or could have avoided it by shutting up for 5 minuets:  

His trip and his mom dying are stuff that aren't completely his fault as mom dying was an accident and his trip was just his inner dialog  

so like 1st of all this mom dying thing didn’t work like Moxxie's did we didn’t get to see a flashback of her being motherly or whatever like we did with Moxxie's mom we saw Moxxie's mom being protective, and caring for him and all that jazz 

all we know is just that yup that’s a mom and she’s dead now.  :D

Honestly the fact that Blizto made Fizz’s back story about him really irked me. Fizz is like yo, you almost ruined my life and Biltzo is like yeah that’s sad and all, but my mom died :/  

Ok? Like? Fizz lost all his arms, legs, and horns and could have had his whole career as an entertainer ripped from him but yeah, your mommy died so sad  

I understand it was to show his perspective but felt kind of one up-ish, no?

Yeah, no I was just nearly burned alive and had to endure the feeling of my skin melting off my bones for however long it took for someone to find me and take me to the hospital on my birthday. Go through whatever surgeries, and physical therapy to get better, get robotic attachments so I could still perform and function better, and get use to not having my limbs and coming to terms with my new normal and the fact that my old best friend started this whole thing in the first place (albeit on accident but I don’t know that yet) and didn’t visit me or apologize in 15ish years because of an unknown 3rd party

To be fair a good amount of Helluva boss characters are unsympathetic but there are characters I sympathize with even if said characters that don’t necessarily have a lot to sympathize with like Asmodeus I feel bad that Fizzarolli wakes him up with an air horn sometimes  

The only time I've sympathized with Blizto was when he was getting the shit kicked out of him by Loona and that’s only because the only character, I dislike more than Blizto is Loona  

(a lot of people who are critical of Loona are like “Blizto deserves better” or “Loona doesn’t deserve Bilzto” and honestly, I kinda agree but at the same time it seems like they deserve each other lol)  

Everyone is like complaining that Loona isn't getting lines or any screen time but I'm over here like

No, but I do take suggestions! The main difference is that I can pick and choose between suggestions for ideas that I like and want to draw from, you're welcome to send in suggestions whenever! Obviously don't take it personally if I never draw your suggestion, they are just drawing ideas to me and I would go insane if I drew EVERY single suggestion I get!

Can you draw my OC/AU?

As much as I love everyone's OC’s and AU’s, I cannot draw for everyone, and to be honest I am a lot less likely to draw someone's OC/AU if I’m requested. Don’t take it personally, I have a weird thing where I would much rather gift someone art rather than be asked to draw it for them, it makes it feel like my idea and therefore I’m more passionate about doing it for them! It’s why I don’t request people directly to draw anything for me. Again everyone's ideas are amazing and I love seeing how creative people are. It's just that I'd much rather gift people art of their OC/AU than be requested to draw it, I will draw things for people when I have the motivation to do so!

Why do you tag some of your art as suggestive?

Just to be safe, I know I draw “sus” stuff sometimes and I mainly want to make sure people keep themselves safe when viewing my stuff. My blog will never explicitly post anything NSFW, the suggestive tag on my art is mainly for sex jokes, pinup style clothing/posing or ass. Again it is just to be safe, you’re not obliged to reblogs with the same tag as me, it’s just to make sure people don’t see something they don’t want to.

Who are the recurring characters that keep showing up here?

Oh, you mean my children? Let me give a rundown:

Mango (He/They) - Mango is my sona! I use him all the time for answering things and also just in general. He is part Dr Mario and part MLP pony from another dimension that somehow got sucked into the SMG4 universe. He works as a doctor in the SMG4 universe, he’s a bit cynical at times but he’s still a kind and caring guy, he’s just sick and tired of all the BS that happens in the SMG4 universe.

Smug (He/Him) - Smug was originally a weird bootleg SMG3 plushie that got turned into a human somehow, he is still a plushie just much bigger now. He spends all his time scamming people in various ways to get what he wants out of them and has no care or regard for them. He has a friend/partner who’s a bootleg SMG4 plush, however she wasn’t transformed as much as him and therefore is the same as before, she can just move and talk now.

Telly (They/Them) - Telly is a happy little accident that somehow occurred out of nowhere, they are the child of Mr Puzzles! They are a shy yet friendly little child who just wants to make friends and watch TV. They struggle with meeting people due to their speaker not working as they can only make static noises to communicate, but they are adventurous and always looking to have fun! They love and look up to their father a lot, he's their biggest inspiration.

Do you have any AU’s?

Yes! I have a werewolf SMG4 AU! I need to work on it. Werewolf SMG4 is a version of SMG4 who's been cursed to turn into an out of control werewolf every night, his friends are constantly working to try and find a solution to this curse while 4 is busy trying not to get anyone killed. It's very angsty and sad I promise, one day I will work on it more, you are welcome to ask about it whenever! It might motivate me to work on it more lol.

Hello to all who have followed and anyone who may hate me. Me and wife have been blessed with beautiful children and I will be 100% archiving this account. I was never really active beforehand until haters began spamming my inbox with the anger of being exposed.

I wish the future of fandom could go back to the way it was and what I mean by that is following the rules of basic human decency

1 Do not like? Do not watch/read/look

2 Have you come across an artist or author who makes content that makes you feel super uncomfortable? Please block and continue with your life.

3 Fictional characters do not need your undying protection, regardless of age, disability, trauma, because they are unreal characters. Maybe some of you guys would not be exposed on this account if you guys protected real people like you have fake characters. If you ever forget what fictional means please quickly Google and cool yourselves off

4 Because someone has account dedicated to specific ship or content of certain characters does not mean that these are their morals or beliefs. I mean a lot of you love Steven Universe and MLP: Friendship Is Magic (shows about love, tolerance, redemption, forgiveness) but are some of nastiest attitudes towards people who are vastly different from you. The real world also does not work like this and you will be clowned by non nerds/normal people.

I hope everyone can learn lesson from this account and understand that some people you think are cool are actually not, some people that rant and constantly post about ships/topics they hate are actually the biggest fans of it, adults that have a massive following and a server comprising of mainly children are most likely a genuine creep and are using them. I'm into arts and crafts! I mainly draw digitally, but sometimes I paint, and I plan to start making fur suits soon!

I love to roleplay and talk about my hyperfixations. Talking about headcanons is an excellent way for me to connect with others!

I‘m a multishipper with most of my fandoms, but sometimes I'm more set and stone, depending on the fandom.

A warning to anyone who may end up befriending me: I go on rants. Typically, they're happy rants about my hyperfixations. For example, my girlfriend had to sit through a 10-minute rant about me explaining all the reasons why Prince Nuada is the best Hellboy villain and even one of my all-time favorite villains.

Just…Don’t mention 2019 Hellboy around me. That sparks a not-so-happy rant session. I hate that movie…….

~~ Roleplay rules ~~

For those who are interested in roleplaying with me, here's some basic stuff to keep in mind.

I do NOT allow:

Mentions of SA, SH, gr*oming, or anything like that. Dead dove stuff is a no-no.

Acting out domestic abuse. Mentions of it is fine, but I will not roleplay it.

Characters randomly getting terminally ill. I lost my dad to cancer, and believe it or not, people have tried forcing it into roleplays before without asking me about it.

Killing off important characters without asking first.

Controlling my character is a no-no. If you need my character to do something for the sake of your reply, please tell me ooc.

I roleplay on Discord, and I do not roleplay with people under the age of 18.

Script roleplay.

Op characters. Strong, yes, op, no.

I DO allow:

Smut/NSFW. The plot can't surround it completely, though.

Double ups.

Gore and violence (to a certain extent)

Angst.

B x B, B x G, G x G, and Poly relationships.

Canon x Canon is preferred. I only do OC roleplays with people I'm close to.

Etc.

I encourage:

Communication ooc. Talking about plot points, headcanons, and potential scenes is a lot of fun for me!

Expressive roleplay is excellent. Don't be scared to hold back character personalities! If my character says something your character would hate, don't hesitate to have them rebel! I love it when people get super in character during roleplay!

If you want to draw a scene from the roleplay, idm that, too! I may even draw scenes from roleplays!

Don't be shy when talking ooc! I still like to make conversation when I'm too tired to roleplay!

I love creativity and descriptiveness. You don't ALWAYS need to be at 100%, though! Don't feel pressured to write extremely long replies if you're too tired or just don't know what to say.

So MC LIVE happened, I missed it by an hour, but it looked cool.

A new boss, copper has a use past a telescope and...whatever else (is copper used for brushes? I've only gotten brushes through creativc), autocrafting is a thing now which I'm told is a nice thing by my bf (who is the target demographic for that feature), and new spawners will exist. Apparently this isn't even all the stuff they have planned? From what I've seen others say (I watched the new stuff and that was it, probably missed the part where they said there was more to come).

Regardless this looks like an interesting addition to the game. A new blaze character AND it's a new boss? Sweet, it may not be the OG nether guy we saw years ago, but it's only different by an element (wind instead of fire) so that's fun and entertaining. Given MC dungeons is supposed to be years before MC I was hoping dungeons would exist at some point (even if they were just remnants of them like mineshafts). Now personally I'm not a fighter, but if this means my partner will actually play vanilla for a few days with me, so be it. XD

Also copper is being treated like stone and a wood type by the look of it? It makes vents, doors (I think?) new cool looking lanterns, funky styles of it will exist like how different type of stone cuts exist, and each thing oxidizes over time making it look completely different as a result. On that note it looks like tuff also gets a couple variations as well? the decorative bits in the dungeons, some stairs, I think the fences were also tuff? even if it was just new stone stuff it looked cool.

Alright yeah yeah, my last posts about MC haven't exactly been positive I know, but again it was due to how things have been as of late. I still love the game, I've recently gotten into the mine little pony mod and have been playing it (it's even updated for 1.20.2), I've been annoyed with it but I adore it still. Even with all the issues I have with the game, I can still play it as is. I don't care for mods much (honestly don't understand them, mlp was the most simple I've ever seen for install), and even if I did care for mods that shouldn't detract from my feelings for the base game.

My main issues with the game have always been how these mob votes work and how the community tears each other apart. And yes some updates may be lackluster but again they're just some smaller nitpick issues. The mob vote is a small part of MC that causes issues (and publicity) every year and as someone who didn't know about them till after the 2020 mob vote it sucks seeing everyone become cutthroat for a few days/a whole week before mc live all cause some jerk youtuber said "It'd be funny if the worst mob won" and cause they said it (even jokingly) their rabid fans just went for it causing everyone to hate that vote and regret everything. Also I did indeed see who won the vote, hurray for armadillo, it was honestly the expected win once I saw all three of them. I knew it would win the moment I heard dog armor. And that is why I hate the mob votes. This year especially, people looked at their uses instead of "hey this looks like it'd be natural to mc", no instead everyone looked at "what will this do for me". Which no it isn't a bad thing, cows give us food and leather, pigs give us food and transport if we go through the extra steps, ...bats...., and goats give us horns. But you can't deny that a mob's existence is singularly based on what it can give. Bats, as I noted, give us nothing, but tell us if the cave we're in/around is deep/dark enough, but past that they just exist. And as much as everyone dislikes them they do help flesh out certain areas of the world. AND THAT'S MY POINT, we don't need every mob to have a huge purpose, just existing to fill space is enough. Fleshing out the world is nice, seeing colors and moving critters is nice. Block game doesn't need to just be blocks everywhere and nothing else.

All this to say, new update looks interesting and I'm glad it's getting an update with things people have been begging for for years, from dog armor to autocrafting. I knew the mob vote would still happen this year, it was obvious with the amount of people who thought the complaints were unfounded and people who "wanted to troll". I didn't vote and I stand by that choice. I'm sorry to those that lost the penguin (I saw it lost first) may you find solace in mods if possible, same for those who lost the crab, I'm sure it was a close tie between crab and armadillo.

[Concept] The Nova Crew

If you want to see more like this please support me at Subscribestar / Ko-Fi So a while back, when I was struggling to find ideas to work on for myself, I found an old drawing of a female StarFox fan-character, who was a playful and mischievous husky and claimed she was a descendant of Wolf O-Donnell! I remembered that I wanted to do something with her and for a while and I had a few ideas for crew mates, but unfortunately the ideas either weren’t developed enough or just didn’t stick. The only thing I could remember for her was She was not the captain but instead was the Sharpshooter/ Ace pilot. Anyways I'm moving away from the StarFox universe mainly because I don’t want to deal with the threat of Nintendo breathing down my neck, Nintendo is scary! Which lets me do my own thing with her and her potential story! First things first, the crew! I knew I was going to have a hard time making new characters on the spot, so I decided to add some of my other characters and see if they would fit. So there are three recycled characters, the first are Dunn and Kit of course, since of the few things I could remember of the captain and the engineer, were that the captain was a serious fellow with 3 robotic limbs and was maybe in a relationship with the engineer, I thought those two would work the best to mold into what I need them to do. I also dropped the the number of robotic limbs from 3 to 1 for Dunn since after a while I felt that that was excessive. The other character is one I have been wanting to give love to for a while now, but have been struggling to find a place to use him. Kain, was a MLP oc whose design I loved but I didn’t get to do much with him, and now that I’m no longer into MLP I wanted to move him away from it too. As for his role in the crew, it was something I made up on the spot when drawing these guys out since his design was exotic compared to the rest. He is the resident alien specialist and muscle of the crew! I mean it wouldn’t be sci-fi without an alien right!?

Circling back to the character that started this all, for a long time I didn’t have a name for her, but now she does! Eri Wolfhowl (last name still pending) Is the Ace pilot and sharpshooter of the crew, and the main character of the story! Or at least I’m trying to make her the main character, I got some stuff lined up for her, I just need to flesh her out more. I still want to use much of what I came up with for her in the past, I’m just going to have to alter her legendary ‘ancestry’! The next three are new characters I came up with once I got into the flow of designing the others. Avolin and Drimick Stonewal are two of the new characters, having the relationship of father and son. Avolin acts as the crews second in command and general medic, though I drew him with a serious frown in my first draft, I have decide to give Avolin a more general caring and fun personality, he can still be very serious but he is much more lax then he initially gives off. His father on the other hand is a very serious man, as a general of a large force should be, Drimick acts primarily as a task giver and a supportive character to the crew. And like his son, I drew Drimick with a very serious face but he is also a very caring person. Last but not least is the robo-companion of the crew, Digi! Digi was the last of the designs I made in this line and the one I had the hardest time with. Robots and other mechanical things are some of the few things I’m not the greatest with, but something I want to get better with, so Digi’s design will definitely be getting tweaked in the future. As for their personality, Digi is very curious for they lack an understanding of many thing around them, even if their programming and data banks states otherwise. I still feel like everyone’s designs still need to be improved upon a bit, as this was around the time I learned that their outfits... matter, but I have a lot of fun ideas and stories stored of them. that I hope to fully explore one day.

Stone needs to be fucked real good to even think he can be forgiven for the grave mistake he made.

Stone's only a good medic for kid if he's Girl Dad!Stone (because of course he's not going to let a random stranger doctor his kid). But he's not Girl Dad!Stone here, he's Canon!Stone. And Canon!Stone has only ever patched up adult soldiers in his life until he met Sylvester and Mārīte.

All this to say, he's never going to look away ever again. But also, he probably most likely would've never looked away in the first place (can we say thank you to his paranoia??) but for this scenario, we'll just pretend he somehow doesn't have the insane amount of paranoia that would've led to him not taking his eyes off of Mārīte on a horse.

Kite Feather Flash & a forgotten world

mlp oc to original character devoid of mlp or it's lore... and theres other ppl too.

(note: this drawing is the latest version of Kite Feather Flash)

In Kite's humble beginnings, she was simply know as Feather Flash (a catchy name, good for an mlp oc). I had put a good amount of effort into Feather's backstory, design, and lore, I even took preclusions to in sure that Feather wouldn't be shipped with anyone by making her a child (canonically). I was really in it, and into mlp.

Later on, I sort of grew out of mlp, but still wanted to keep feather flash around. I just didn't know what to do with her, until a certain blue dragon came into the picture.

So one day, I got an idea for a blue dragon character named Odie. And that he was a sort of foreign exchange student, sent from the dragon kingdom. Along with 3 other exchange students, a unicorn, Sphinx, and griffin (THATS FEATHER).

like most small casts of characters I create, my brain went wild with idea's about a tv idea (I do that a lot). Feather Flash was at this point no longer a mlp oc, but rather a regular one (what I wanted). Feather was one of four exchange students, like Odie, sent to a school that would also be all of the kingdoms first real attempt at peace in a long while.

It got developed fast (in my head). It became like a soap opera, Odie became the main character, and he was forced to be a sort of spy for the dragon king, (I forgot his name). Who wanted to take advantage of this "school" to over throw and rule the other kingdoms. For his own ego, and because an old dragon king was defeated by an asshole unicorn king. But of course, Odie is a good guy, and is reluctant but still feels forced to do this.

AND MAN did Odie have a hard time.

At one point, Odie meets a dragon from a different dragon kingdom, who gives him a whole new perspective on dragon life (because he was starting to think his own spices was nothing but tough love, brute strength, and dragons like the king).

At one point he also brings Feather to meet the King and it's really funny :] (to me atleast)

And of course, his friends eventually his friends find out, and think he's totally in on the kings plan. HOWEVER! before or after that (I can't remember) the griffin death god himself gives Odie a warning.

Funniest thing about this is that Griffins are for the most part, altheas, and yet they got a god of death in their deck.

After this little encounter, Odie would go to his friends and spill ALLLLLL the tea and they embrace him with open arms.

A little later after this, I'd draw a picture that served a bit more like a retcon (but not like a major retcon)

Instead of going to all his friends, he starts with Feather, OR SHOULD I SAY KITE? this is around when Kite's named changed. Kite being the most chill (and also having meet the dragon king face to face). Odie begs for Kite, and says that he understands if she still wants nothing to do with him, but that he'll take any advice she will offer him. This is honestly kinda sad tdh, he feels lost and helpless and he doesn't even think Kite will care if the dragon dose something terrible to Odie. (of course she dose more then give him some tips). THEN after this he goes to the other 2 (who weren't actrually done being friends, they just needed time to clear their heads, and look at the situation with an open mind.)

FINALLY I can talk new Kite lore, now that the history is outta the way:

Kite is now a soldier of sorts, and throws a lot of punches and kicking a lot of ass. (HELL YEAH >:D). She is now a cadet (sort of like a skylander in my mind) a junior officer of the Protectors of Peace (P.o.P) Her job? protect Golden Glade and keep out anyone seeking too disrupt the peace. With her biggest foe being the Dead King (I gotta start giving king characters names).

The type of griffin is called a windbreaker!

a species of griffin characterized by the incredible-speed and fast aerial maneuvers. They are also the only Griffin species to have minor control over wind. (But that's just a theory).

A very goofy and fun but formidable foe for Kite, (he's also one of the most prominent villain's because he wants the ruler of Golden Glade, Ancient Feather dead). Personally wise, he's an A+ cartoon villian, bumbling and clumsy, but somehow still the king of the dead???. He's also a bit all over the place jumping from one evil scheme to the next without much before one has even succeeded. Since he's dead (technically) he doesn't need sleep, so he's up all night, 24/7 plotting.

His spices is a Undead Chimaera:

characterized by wild portions and body parts (usually consisting of random creatures), and as for the undead aspect of him, he has poisonous elemental magic that he may spew from his mouth, and obvious looks like he's rotting.

I came up with 2 storylines for this story:

When Kite first join P.o.P but is not magical like the other cadets, and is considered less by her peers, until she dose better then all of them, and actually has a fight instinct (unlike half of everyone else, who have a flight responses). So pretty cut and dry.

Kite is fighting tooth and nail against Dead King and his army, and eventually decides to travel to the underworld to stop Dead King at his source, but meets Argus, (someone who died) who was a commanding officer back in P.o.P, and he explains that the reason Dead King is so eager to kill Ancient Feather, is because she tried to destroy the underworld to gain immortality. So he is basically trying to stop a threat. So then when Kite gets back to P.o.P HQ, she just kinda... stands to the side and watches the undead army pillage and kill Ancient Feather. But just when Dead King goes to take Ancient Feather's place, he is stopped by Kite, because she wasn't trading a dictator for a dummy. And Argus drags Dead King back to the underworld.

And that's it for now... YIPPIE!, Ancient Feather is kind of the leader/founder of P.o.P so idk, maybe Kite becomes a solo force, god knows she fought off an undead army, she could be the hero of Golden Glade, THEE Protector of Peace (with some help from Argus). So... Yeah! thats all I got. To cap off this silly clown fish with no connection Kite or Odie OR even Dead King:

every time I see someone tag something with "wtf was (show/book/etc)?" in a clearly "this post, which is very accurate to the show, does not line up with what I thought it was, (and I don't know how I feel about that)" way, I want to scream - not at them, just scream - that it's something they clearly need to experience then.

There is so much good media from the last few decades that, while often rather dated, are still great experiences in their own ways.

Yes, it could just be nostalgia talking, but it includes things I only watched for the first time as an adult despite it being around when I was younger. There are so many series and movies and books and comics and podcasts and channels out there that-

look, they have actual strong female characters, okay?

That's the part I'm mad about. That actually genuinely multi-faceted women are so hard to find in anything made in the last decade. The few we got, got ripped to shreds 50x harder than any similarly characterized male character would have.

Good female characters started with Ripley and ended when the MCU started. that's what I earnestly believe. especially since half this fucking website couldn't handle Steven Universe's ladies having *gasp* flaws!

I'm just so pissed because it's so fucking two-faced how everyone begs for more good female characters (and nonbinary characters and gay characters and-) but then ignores or tears apart the ones that are there. And I don't mean the cookie cutter cold and sarcastic tough girls who are two dimensional compared to the rest of the cast, I mean ones where the girls are the main characters - heck, even the whole cast, points vigorously at MLP - with full personalities. I'm also talking streamers, youtubers, (web)comic artists, crafters, so on. Real people! There's bound to be someone out there!

you have to be the change you want to see. I know it's fucking rich of me since three of my four favorite things to watch right now are young white guys who were privileged enough to be able to go full time on YouTube without ever really needing another Real Job before that, but damn if I'm not trying to find more to watch (been binging Laura Kampf's tiny house series this week for example, and boy it's been a lot of fun).

Kinda older art but there’s enough of it that I feel like it’s worth posting - so my big 80′s Cartoon Universe MotU AU thing that has no good name does, inevitably, involve...ponies. Small horses. Taking cues from @jayrockin‘s Tiny Sapient Ungulate designs, the, uh, horse crew of my universe’s MLP? At least, the ones active when the main story takes place elsewhere in the universe and they eventually run into each other. Equestria is so far removed from most of the cosmos due to Celestia and Luna basically looking at the oncoming Space Lich Horde and going “actually, fuck this” and moving a few solar systems around to hide themselves.

The “main characters” are your pretty standard group of adventuring heroic young adults tho.

Moonstone - Doesn’t actually go adventuring! Mostly uses her prophetic powers to guide the other ponies to those who need them. Suffers from a curse that causes her to be asleep in sunlight and only awake at night.

Sundance - Incredibly magical “firstborn” (ie created through magical parthenogenesis) with a heroic streak and a knack for leadership. Sort of. She’s getting the hang of it! Learning to be a wizard.

Firefly - Went back to the OG Rainbow Dash and you all know how this works. Hotheaded, too fast for her own good, actually a direct royal descendant but doesn’t want people to know.

Clover - Mild-mannered and chilled-out hippie witch vibes with this one. Has basically druidcraft powers, and is able to communicate with plants and the like. Has flowers perpetually growing in their hair, somehow.

Sweetheart - Ah, the most incredible magic of all. Emotions! Namely, being an empath. And a psychic. Kind of a powerful one, actually. This is probably fine. Sweetheart is stylish and girly and can come across as a bit haughty but she’s fiercely loving and protective of her friends.

Patch - Patch’s vocabulary is about 50% just “yeup” or “nah”, being less inclined towards talking and more inclined towards either stoic quiet or kickin’ ass and eatin’ grass!

More on pony phylogeny later, but ponies generally aren’t divided into, like, “Unicorn” or “Pegasus” as species or sub-species, rather all Ponies just...are ponies with various magical morphisms (though like...you’re unlikely to find non-flying ponies living in floating sky cities or non-seaponies underwater for good reason) so most surface populations are pretty varied. enough magic can basically change one type of pony into another type in a pinch, though, even if it’s seldom permanent (unless it’s Ascension to Princehood but becoming a Prince/ss is. A whole different thing and that’s why some of these ponies look more like actual full size horses because if you have enough magic it’s like how axolotls can become salamanders. But it’s like. If Magical axolotl horse wizards could potential become full-grown horse wizards in the right scenario.)

Clover has two little siblings, Milkweed and Tumbleweed. Their mother, Ivy, is a “druid” in the sense of being a sort of nature guardian figure while Minty is a gardener.

Patch was born to dads Buttons and Bow - two tailors who used to be business rivals. You’d be amazed at how successful fashion designers can be even on a world where being naked is considered “casual”.

Sweetheart’s parents fill interesting roles due to their highly skilled and focused magic - Snuzzle (who you may recognize as a Twice As Fancy pony) is a powerful empath and psychic who actually attends to Princesses and Goddesses when needed, and Secret Admirer was presumably some sort of Bond-esque spy. I will not elaborate.

Sundance and her older “sister” Light Heart are both firstborn- aka ponies who don’t actually have parentage! Though whatever Goddess creates them presumably counts to some degree- these two were obviously crafted by Celestia, given their color schemes and solar nature. Ponies have pretty low population growth so occasional spontaneous abiogensis is just. A fact of life.

Firefly has three siblings, a powerfully magic royal mother, and her dad (with whom she shares a name) is a prince and effectively a demigod, being a Nightmare (a rare type of pony with magic that comes directly from the goddess Luna) and also ruling over one of the cloud-kingdoms with a heavy emphasis on moderating the weather. Everyone in this family is a super high achiever.

Also this means that Firefly’s gramma is an immortal ageless goddess of darkness and night but to Firefly she’s just Gam-gams! Sometimes your deity grandma comes to visit you in dreams and when you wake up there’s a butterscotch under your pillow.

There’s a lot of stuff because I went kinda overboard but uhhh making a MLP setting is fun and I highly suggest it if you ever want to combine cute soft little magical horses with thinking way too hard about the implications of a society that runs entirely off of incredible feats of magic where everyone can do at least one bizarre thing.
