for anyone that knows me, i’m like, the biggest big hero 6 fan and you guys don’t understand how obsessed i am with its little universe and how it’s portrayed in the baymax series !!! like the photos up on the walls of the lucky cat cafe are the exact same as they were in the movie??? the abandoned warehouse where everything began??? don’t even get me started on baymax with his patients or cass with her customers. this show felt like a warm welcome back home and it is literally everything to me 🥹🥹🥹

Gevanni ranking 9/10 in emotional strength (according to the HTR) as if he’s not nervously sweating every time we see him and doesn’t practically have an anxiety attack before touching the notebook (honorable mention: being the most upfront and aggressive about questioning the existence of “gods of death”)
Lidner ranking lower than him in emotional strength at 7/10 (also according to the HTR) as if she doesn’t casually walk all the way from her apartment to the SPK headquarters with Mello holding a gvn to her head, doesn’t cooperate alongside a very popular (particularly with men) figure in media (Kiyomi Takada) and stay calm through all the situations she’s thrown into, having been her bodyguard (like the smoke b°mb), and doesn’t approach a MASSIVE F1RE and simply observe with the realization that Mello and Takada are both d£âd (honorable mention: anime only but when she gets out of the shower and Mello points the gvn directly at her forehead and she just says “oh.. you’re alive” I’m sorry that moment kinda made me laugh especially bc Mello just keeps staring her down and takes a bite from his chocolate bar)
so granted I’m not the most knowledgeable in psychology n whatnot, and I realize Lidner may have more experience in dealing with things upfront, having been a former USSS agent, but, needless to say - this makes no sense to me. dare I say … de4th of the author ???

I just can’t get over how familiar Maura and Eyk seem to each other, and how distant Maura and Daniel feel in comparison.
They don’t ACT like acquaintances at ALL. Like:
The way they stare at each other but from like literally the first time they meet on deck lmao
Maura being veryyyy touchy and handsy
Maura sharing about her miscarriage and that she can no longer have children, not something usually shared with an almost-stranger and most DEFINITELY not in 1899
Eyk reciprocating by telling Maura, REPEATEDLY, that his family has tragically died, again, not something normally shared with a mere acquaintance like who does that?
Maura telling Eyk about her being a Singleton DESPITE knowing Eyk is already suspicious of her?! Running a real risk of losing her only ally there and she does it ANYWAY because trustttt
Eyk confessing he hears his dead daughter’s voice and that he might be going insane and seeking comfort but also being VERY vulnerable here (again, it’s 1899, and he’s literally telling this to someone who’s studied medicine!!)
Maura grieving and panicking when Eyk is “deactivated” and desperately begging for him to be brought back to “life”
“Thank you for believing I’m not crazy” (paraphrasing)
All the arm touching lmao
Eyk asking, concerned, if Maura is not eating that one time (cute!) - but also does that mean he saw everyone eating and then saw that Maura WASN’T and then went to look for her to see if she’s okay??
Maura being all protective over Eyk wanting to take a swing at Sebastian lmao
Maura handing over the key despite really not wanting to because she feels Eyk is in danger (“I wouldn’t do that if I were you”) and she barely even hesitates
Maura looking like she might throw up when confessing she’s actually married and Eyk stumbling over “your husband” because it’s too painful to acknowledge
