Rester is a little more rusty, Halle has her hair back to be more distinct from Mello's design and Gevanni is well aged. He paints miniatures in his free time and his dexterity and eye for details is unmatched. No wonder he exceled at copying the Death Note.

Personal experience:

In Scotland I had to wait 5 years to be seen by a gender specialist, it's frustrating but I am so incredibly happy with how my life is now that I have access to testosterone. I want to make sure other trans people can experience the comfort and happiness I have.

We need to make sure that the small amount of access we do have to these services are protected.

Trans rights are being slowly taken away by the UK government and those in power so we need to put up a constant fight to keep them. Most of the general public do not care (in a good way) or are supportive of trans people and we far out number the few thousand people at the top making these decisions. It is exhausting but staying up to date when you can and sharing realistic things people can do will help.

When it became known that Lidner was working with Mello on the side and leaking information about the SPK's activities to him, Near chooses to accept it on a don't ask / don't tell basis (except for a couple things he specifically asked she convey). I wonder if it bothered him how she went behind his back though, and if he was disturbed at all by the fact he didn't even realize it for so long.

I also wonder how did her other co-workers feel about it? Did they hold it against her? Did it affect their relationships, did they maintain professional politeness but privately think of her as a traitor, or talk about her behind her back? I can't imagine they would so easily let it slide, especially considering she's in collusion with Mello who ordered the deaths of so many of their previous colleagues. I think it's for sure within their rights to not be happy with her.

It's also worth noting how once they move to Japan she becomes estranged from the SPK, she doesn't know the physical location of their HQ there and is no longer in regular contact with them. The obvious reason for this is because her job as Takada's bodyguard doesn't allow to get much time to connect with them; there's the other practical reason that Near is worried Kira may control her to gain information, so she's intentionally kept at arms length and in the dark about certain things. But could it ALSO be influenced by the fact that she's not proven herself to be entirely trustworthy?

If Near, Rester, and Gevanni did at one point harbor this kind of resentment against her for her actions, they at least appear to have gotten over it after the Kira case. Near keeps in touch with her (or rather, he lets her keep in touch with him) and Rester and Halle are also still contact as we see when they decide to 'drop in' on Near to give him prods and pep talks for both the C and A Kira cases.

Idk, I just find the internal dynamics of the SPK really interesting and deserving of more exploration.

Anybody got any headcanons about what they all do in their free time? What's their private life like? Do they have silly little hobbies? Do they become friends after the Kira case? Do they have spouses? Kids?

And shouldn't it be "Special Provision AGAINST Kira" instead of "FOR Kira"...? 🤔 Or do I just suck at English?
