WE’RE GETTING IN IT NOW!

Not only did [Mysterious Lava Lamp Parents] pay the price of the closeness with their own children, they also paid the price of not being able to touch each other. 

THEY WENT INTO THIS JAM JAR ON PURPOSE.

IT WAS A PRICE THEY PAID WILLINGLY TO TURN BACK TIME. 

AND THEN WE SEE THE HANDS FROM PAGE ONE.

WE SEE THE BEGINNING OF THE MANGA. 

Which, it turns out, was chronologically in order! It wasn’t a vision of anything to come after it, it was a glimpse of [Mysteriously Unidentified Lava Lamp Parents] in their Jam Jar, where they went in order to turn back time, before the rest of the series happened. 

I’m guessing that means this is also how they knew to give Lava Lamp his instructions on going to the Clow Kingdom? Because something Else happened the first time around and they Turned Back Time to make sure Lava Lamp went there and caused Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle to happen instead? Which is wild to think about. And yet I'm not entirely sure if that checks out, since Evil Wolverine seems to be slightly outside of time. I suppose I could be wrong about that.

And yet I can’t see any other reason why they would have had to turn back time unless-

OH. WAIT.

… unless they were from the future? 

If they were future characters who went back to the right point in time to set the correct points in motion? 

I shouldn’t theorise about this too much, this is getting very farfetched and I’m absolutely running full speed ahead with very few facts but imagine. 

Imagine what that would mean, when added to the fact that they won’t show us their faces. 

There are only so many characters we would recognise.

MORE SPECIFICALLY, THEY WON’T SHOW US THEIR ORIGINAL FACES

AT THE TOP RIGHT CORNER, THEIR APPEARANCES CHANGE WHEN THEY GO INTO THE JAM JAR

THEIR “OLDER” FACES ARE STILL UNSEEABLE, BUT THEY “TURN INTO” THE VERSION OF THEMSELVES WE ARE EXPECTING TO SEE FROM CHAPTER ONE. 

WE STILL DON’T KNOW WHAT THEY LOOKED LIKE AS FULL ADULTS. 

There is potentially the most unhinged possible answer about who Lava Lamp’s parents are based on what Clamp will and won’t show us. The main option that isn't Cardcaptor Sakura genuinely doesn’t make any sense.

BUT ALSO, LOGIC IS DEAD IN THIS UNIVERSE. THEY HAVE SET THAT UP. 

DID THEY SET THAT UP SPECIFICALLY SO THAT THE MOST RIDICULOUS ANSWER FOR LAVA LAMP'S PARENTS COULD BE CORRECT?

so like thinking about what the backstory/deal with Gaster is for the MTT and i figured it out

Dust- Handplates AU, he remembers basically everything

Killer- not related to Gaster in any way, probably doesn’t even know who Gaster is

Horror- he had the good but busy dad Gaster, probably why Horror has/had an interest in science, also he cant/doesn’t remember who Gaster was to him

Re: suits, there are hundreds of different types of suits, but the most common cuts are british, american and italian. I could see Lando (aka would love to see) most likely in an italian cut (slim tailoring on trousers and jacket, unstructured shoulders, light cloth (not colour but fabric) also looks very nice with an open collar and no tie...). Typical big brand names here are Zegna, Armani or Attolini, I personally love Kiton and Brioni as well, but just googling itlian cut suits should show some good results.

For Oscar, I would adore a (for once) properly tailored brutish cut suit (higher waistline for the trousers, more structure in the shoulders, tapered waist, thicker fabrics). Maybe even make it a proper three-piece bc ever since the wetsuit pics from Australia, I think we all agree that those curves need to be shown more often. Examples here are Ted Baker, Dunhill and ofc everything Savile row.

Tho if we keep with the Mclaren sponsors, Reiss does some great work as well. There's a double-breasted tuxedo jacket in this year's collection that I would love to see Lando in (then again tuxedos are a whole nother topic ...)

i know you were self conscious about writing at length about this but all i have to say is: yes. here is some additional photographic evidence from my POV;

lando in snazzy italian tailoring, but to take the stylised vector a bit further:

exhibit a: asymmetric waistcoat with steampunk details

exhibit b: italian but with a fun pattern

exhibit c: open collar a step further, he could so rock a 70s suit. also just really need him to rock the gucci glasses with some shiny loafers like he’s sooooo got that vibe. im thinking how bruno mars and harry styles wear that kind of suiting sometimes

now to our elusive chanteuse f1 driver oscar jack. i feel like it’s, like what you described, about a classic style but with really fine details. good fabrics, simple cuts, plain colourways. below is pretty stylised but also this is rpf and it’s my playground and if we were claiming realism we should just put the rpf toys down full stop and i am not doing that!!

if taking a costume designer’s perspective too, there could be soooo much you could say with layering and pattern and contrast depending where we are in the story or plot. the idea of fic!oscar in a classic brit cut suit with tiny revealing details like a handkerchief (lando’s) or a button (a nod to a family member or a friend) is very dear to me.

the other option i like is a classic tux jacket with tails and crisp shirt and a a sky blue handkerchief, like idk that image also tickles me for some reason.

anyway so i had been thinking about a tailor AU- *loud scuffling noise as i try to put wayward au ideas back in their box*

And the fact that he waited by his Bentley just to watch Aziraphale go, to prove to himself that he was leaving for good. And as he’s driving away he’s probably thinking that Aziraphale wasn’t actually pretending to not be a “group of the two of them” this whole time, and that he was the only one that saw their relationship that way.

I was thinking that what's our end goal in life? Is it to have alot of money? But then I thought that what if tomorrow it's said that "hey you can't buy anything even if you have alot of money" then would it have any value anymore? Do we need money because it makes us happy? Or do we need money to survive. I think it's completely different in every aspect. Then what's our goal? Ah! It's to become happy. We need money not because it is good or bad but we need it to become happy. So what we aspire to be at the end is to be happy???? So why are there alot of theft, fraud, crimes and whatnot for the "money" whose sole purpose was to make us happy. Shouldn't we focus and teach people how to be happy and fulfilled than to creating potential people who are so blinded by the money that they can do anything for it.
