you know what hill i'll die on? terzo is not the sluttiest emeritus
I mean sure, he's the most dramatic and the most outspoken about sex, and he gave us Mummy Dust which is its own discussion-- but I sincerely don't see him, in his private life, being so promiscuous. Like out of all of them, I'm the most certain Terzo would be either monogamous or have a few regular partners at most, but I don't think he'd be big on casual flings. Frankly I don't even see him having sex that much at this point, he seems more attached to it as a concept than an actual activity he regularly engages in.
You know who's the inverse of that, though? The one Tobias himself calls a pervert? Secondo. There's your whore. I know he looks big and mean and authoritary but let's be honest, half of Infestissumam is about ritual sex and he's out in Vegas on the regular with more women than he can reliably satisfy. He says it himself that he became Papa because "he likes a sexy beat". THERE'S THE EMERITUS WHORE, AND I'M CERTAIN OF IT

I will never forgive hbo for not giving us a birth scene with alicent. The show gives us many birth scenes which help humanize a lot of characters but they don't do this at all with alicent.
We could have gotten a scene of aegon's birth. His birth literally changes so much and affects so many people. He is the son the king always wanted and the son he killed his previous wife for, he is the prince so many people were waiting for, he is the threat to rhaenyra's claim, his birth marks an end of alicent and rhaenyra's friendship, he marks the end of his mother's innocence, and his birth is the root for the civil war.
We should have gotten a scene of aegon being born and the reactions to it.

So I may have a favorite lad
Surfer dude has my heart 👊😔
In all seriousness tho, I just wanted to do fanart for this lad I didn’t mean to turn it into a fully colored comic-
BUT HERE WE ARE
I actually rly like how this turned out? I gave it a slight paper texture overlay and I like how that looked.
Samir Surfsup belongs to @thelone-copper ! Y’all should go check’em out, their art is very very tight 👊😎
I based Wally and Home’s appearances off of this post by PartyCoffin, it’s so peaceful and cute.
Samir gives me the vibes that even if he’s surprised by something he just rly easily vibes with it? Like, for instance, there could be a giant sentient house on the beach and he’s just like ‘Yo thats tight’ and then move on. Or he forgets to put sunscreen literally everywhere but his nose and his reaction after getting severely burnt is just ‘Woah bummer, dude’ and then he goes and does the same thing cause he Ain’t Bothered™️
I could be very wrong about that but that’s just what I imagine when I see him 😅 gives me Effortlessly Cool Vibes pretty much
Full Page Ver. Under the cut! (W/Paper Texture and W/Out Paper Texture)
I’m still learning how to do comics, so little random stuff like this is a fun exercise. I may draw more fanart of this lad, we shall see-
Hope ya like the art and have an awesome day!
Likes and Reblogs are appreciated! PLEASE DO NOT REPOST MY WORK!

Boba: I’m the same, but cooler. I do drugs now.
Fennec: He did drugs once and the force led him to a tree.
Boba: It was an awesome tree. I saw the ghost of my Buir and Ba’Buir and they laughed at me and I think I’m force sensitive now but I’m afraid to find out.
Sabine: *is a little shit* Huh. I think we should go talk to my master about this, I’m sure she can help :)
Ahsoka: *standing stock still in the middle of Luke’s new school while the twins look at her funny* I feel this odd sense of impending doom. My padawan is doing something she shouldn’t be :(

anyway so much of fandom is about emotional regulation and letting other people be happy. someone else's fave character gets a clip or promo poster or plot point or whatever? if it's promo, there's plenty of slices of pie and a lot of reasons why certain things are released over other things (spoilers, popularity, marketing ease, intrigue, etc). it's not a competition, it's not a personal slight. if you treat it like the former, you'll be deeply bitter and unpleasant; if you treat it like the latter, you're putting way too much importance and belief that a children's tv show promo marketing schedule should revolve around you and nobody else's (like executive) preferences, which is an interesting take, to say the least
furthermore: you think if this thing might not happen this season, or you'll be devastated if it does happen, because you got attached to a character or plot beat the story seemingly isn't? you're frustrated with waiting? it's tough luck but the story isn't here to service your particular wants, needs, and preferences; neither is the broader fandom. know and find your appropriate spaces to vent or complain (i.e. not the official fan server dear lord). things will happen as they happen. being aware of the story contract you signed onto and being respectful of it is important if you don't wanna be an ass. fandom entitlement always reeks and pushes other people (like me) away from making the very stuff you'd like to see and read, and you'll just end up with even less than you already have, not more
if you're not invested in all of, or the main aspects of, a show in equal calibre, you can't help that, and you can't help where your hyperfixation or preferences fall. but you do have a responsibility to understand how to stay in your lane(s) and not rain on other people's parades just because they Like All The Things and are accordingly excited/grateful for whatever they're getting, thanks

seeing people genuinely complain about the deaths in the acolyte and throwing around words like cruel and sadistic just once again has me thinking people need to actually sit and ponder on where a story is going and if it's something they can handle watching. nothing about the acolyte has implied it's anything besides a murder mystery, and features an entirely new cast of characters — something that, the last time we saw this in live action, ended in them all dying. just because something belongs to a franchise you love, doesn't mean you have to watch it, or that it has to be your cup of tea. It also doesn't make it bad storytelling if it's too brutal for your liking. The internet gives you every opportunity to make an informed opinion on what you consume, ultimately it's your responsibility, not the show's, to cater to what you can handle.
