Nothing broke Sharon’s focus as she walked through Major Crimes, only watching from her peripheral vision to make sure no one got in her way. She stared at her phone screen instead and the offensively long message from Chief Pope that had led her downstairs to begin with. Assuming she was close to Chief Johnson’s office, she looked up long enough to grab the door handle and push it open, unaware of the tightly closed blinds and suspiciously empty office.

“Chief Johnson,” she began, letting the door close behind her and then slipping her phone into her blazer pocket. “If you can’t get your team—“ Sharon stopped abruptly when her eyes finally landed on the other woman.

Brenda Leigh sat slightly slumped behind her desk, her chair pushed back far enough that Sharon could see her dress had ridden up her thighs. The other woman’s hand was buried between them and Sharon felt a heatwave wash over her.

“Were you just masturbating?” she managed to ask, her voice higher than normal and beyond her control.

“U-uh… no,” Brenda Leigh tried, but she was breathless and wouldn’t meet her gaze. “I was just…” She didn’t finish and Sharon felt an odd feeling of confidence start to join her racing heart.

this also adds a bunch more context to the fireplace scene with Kayta, where she’s says “you make me still,” meaning that being around Kayta calms her, and then Kayta’s response of “stillness is boring,” which is clearly meaning that she excepts Sofia fully. (I saw some Reddit threat discussing how they thought that was rude and just, how could you miss interpret the scene that much??? Especially when Kayta gives Sofia her scarf right after? Folks it clearly gay)

Because it's not your decision to make whether or not the robot will receive a new name. It should be theirs only. What's the difference? One is more complex and the other is simplified. They were both given by strangers instead of themselves.
