🔞 i guess it's because there's an event happening and that's why he's on my mind, but i've been thinking about sexual tension and some angst with Lucifer
[NSFW, minors DNI. GN reader, unrequited feelings(?), casual sex, getting caught. Maybe alluding to some angry/jealous sex, possible dubcon at the end?? This is....wayyyy longer than intended/accidental ficlet]
Like just imagining really coming to be attracted to him. Emotionally attracted because he's responsible and serious and intelligent, and then has his sweet and romantic moments that seem like they're only for you. And physically, he has every reason to be the Avatar of Pride. He's probably one of, if not the most, gorgeous men you've ever laid eyes on. Those intense ruby red eyes, broad shoulders, skilled hands that produced both gorgeous handwriting as well as wonderful piano music.
It comes to the point that you can't make eye contact with him or you know you'll get flustered. Starting to get distracted by thinking about what he'd be like as a lover, as a boyfriend. Slight touches are enough to send your daydreams on a journey. But knowing he likely doesn't like you that way, that the feelings aren't returned. And anyway, the plan is to eventually return to the human world, right? Is it worth getting into a relationship now, just to separate so soon down the road? But rather than deal with the rejection and heartache, just swallowing those feelings down and trying to move on with your life.
Of course, amidst the inner turmoil going on in your heart, you didn't expect to get involved with Lord Diavolo instead, the prince approaching you with the most unexpected offer that you decided to accept, perhaps against your better judgment.
It wasn't anything serious, definitely just a fling, simply responding to mutual attraction and a mutual desire for some stress relief. Honestly, it happened rather suddenly, a curious kiss after a meeting quickly evolving into more, but once it started, it was easy to just go with the flow, taking your moments alone to indulge and just release that tension. You reasoned it was both a good way to forget your feelings and still enjoy some kind of attention, and thankfully he was an excellent lover.
However, you had to admit to yourself that, as gorgeous and skilled as the devil prince was, you'd be lying if your mind didn't seem to wander off more often than not to a certain red-eyed devil. Even as Diavolo worked to rearrange your guts over his office desk, risking any documents he decidedly abandoned in pursuit of... greater pleasures, even as his golden eyes burned into you and he devoted himself to learning your favorite spots, your mind still went back to Lucifer.
If Diavolo knew that your heart was elsewhere, he didn't mention it. You were an adult and you weren't dating each other, he had no right to question it regardless. And as the heir to the throne, he had other things to focus on anyway. The whole point of the fling was something simple, pleasurable, and the less you two thought about feelings and regrets, the better.
Of course, assumptions can often be your undoing.
During one such beneficial "meeting" between you and the prince, your hands were grasping— broad shoulders, the desk, his hair, whatever was closest— as you tried to hold on for dear life. Something had seemed to really get under his skin lately, so he was working on releasing all his stress into you instead, his desk at risk of breaking, based on the amount of creaking that could be heard. His large cock bullying its way into your body repeatedly and pressing up against a particularly sensitive spot inside was driving you close to climax, and the overwhelming pleasure was driving any coherent thoughts from your mind.
The volume of the room was loud and only getting louder by the second, a sinful symphony of pants and grunts, rhythmic wood creaking, and the wet slap of Diavolo's balls against your ass. Thus, it was no wonder neither of you heard the approaching footsteps, or at least, couldn't be bothered to pay it any mind. Diavolo adjusted his grip on your hips at the last second, really driving his cock home inside you, and you could feel the band about to snap.
Just before you could go over that delicious precipice, the door to Diavolo's office opened, and your head whipped around to see the intruder. Of all the people it could have been, you should have known there was equal chances of being walked in by Lucifer as there was Barbatos. And yet, seeing him there still froze you to the spot as his eyes met yours.
Or rather, it would have. But Diavolo made one more thrust, the thick head of his dick pressing the sweetest little spot inside, and it was enough for the band to finally snap. In what felt like ages but was all within the span of a second, everything came crashing down. Your body tightened before releasing all at once, spasming in Diavolo's hold as you couldn't help but release a cry. The feel of your hole tightening around him dragged him into climax with you, and he seated himself deep inside before filling you with his cum.
What would have been an otherwise heavenly, earth-shattering orgasm was short-lived, as the horror of what happened quickly dissolved any remaining pleasure. You pushed against Diavolo's chest, trying to get him to move, to at least pull out of you, so you could pull yourself together and try to explain-- explain what, exactly? You weren't even sure, and it wasn't like Lucifer didn't just see you cum on his boss' dick just a minute ago, and in fact were still stuffed with it atop his desk.
You couldn't read the expression on his face, and didn't get much chance to explain anything before Lucifer apologized for interrupting and left.
It's days before you can speak to Lucifer again, practically cornering him in his office despite how hard your heart is pounding and how much you want to run away. You're expecting many different reactions: disappointment, shaming, anger, perhaps even indifference. But when Lucifer finally snaps, what initially seems like anger seems to morph into what is instead... jealousy? Questioning you on when your relationship with Diavolo started, how long you two have been fucking, if there's anyone else you're riding like a whore besides the prince.
You can't help the way your face burns when he spits out that word, "whore", but there's no time to attempt a defense before Lucifer is pushing you over his desk, a hand grasping your hip so hard you might bruise, the other yanking your hair to look back at him. The look in his eyes then blows you away, equal parts desire and anger swirling in those bloody depths. You'd ask him what he's going to do, but the solid length pressing against your backside is answer enough. Despite the shame hanging over you, you can't help the part of you that's thrilled that he wants you like that, even if it was happening for all the wrong reasons. But as the sound of a belt unbuckling caught your ears, you accepted your punishment and just hoped there'd be time later to truly confront each other.

ATLA Unpacked: Ty Lee's Potential
One of the many things we missed out on from ATLA Book 3 was a Ty Lee character arc. Of Azula's trio she's ultimately the least explored and most auxiliary, which is sad. The possibilities were certainly there: a girl who seems too good-natured for the ruthlessness of the Fire Nation, coerced into helping Azula, seemingly naive about what her nation is doing or perhaps too timid to voice her concerns. Gee, all that sure rings a bell doesn't it? So, here are some things that I think could have been done w/ Ty Lee given what we know about her. 1. Friendship with Zuko and eventual Redemption Arc Canon screwed this one up during "The Beach," but there's no reason it had to be that way. Ty Lee should have been the person Zuko warmed up to the most given that they're both more caring people than Mai and Azula. With Ty Lee and Zuko, you have two sheltered and privileged teenagers who don't quite fit the mold of what Fire Nation children are *supposed* to be. As a result, Zuko is banished and Ty Lee leaves her aristocratic home life behind. Zuko's banishment and journey across the world helps him realize that the Fire Nation's war is wrong. Ty Lee, who was part of a traveling Fire Nation circus and eventually traveled the Earth Kingdom with Azula, could have easily come to the same realization. We never even get her perspective on the war in canon! Just imagine Ty Lee and Zuko bonding over martial arts, theater, and collecting pretty sea shells. They bring out each other's best qualities and motivate each other's redemption. 2. Standing up to Azula This has been commented on before, but Mai being the one who defies Azula instead of Ty Lee during "The Boiling Rock" is not a satisfying emotional climax. Mai happily left her boring life behind in "Return to Omashu" as soon as Azula gave her an opportunity, and she openly defied Azula's orders with no fear of retribution at least once. What Azula represented for Mai wasn't fear. Azula was the metaphorical "devil" on Mai's shoulder, distracting her from her lack of emotional fulfillment with fun and thrills. The one who was genuinely afraid of Azula, and abandoned her passion out of that fear, was Ty Lee. Ty Lee standing up to Azula and emerging victorious is far more emotionally and narratively satisfying given their dynamic. It also gives Mai a more character appropriate choice to make in the situation. Which leads me to my third point 3. Mai and Ty Lee marsreds made a fantastic commentary I read years ago. I'll link it in the comments, but her point was that throwing Mai into an awkward and uninteresting relationship with Zuko took the focus away from her relationships with Azula and Ty Lee and made her character arc about a boy. It's a pretty damning commentary on the sexism that seeped into the way ATLA's female characters were written, and how that became the norm for the franchise by the time of the comics. Anyway, a hugely missed opportunity for Ty Lee and Mai was their relationship with each other. Even though I am pro MaiLee, I won't make this ship heavy. Ultimately the writing has to come first, but Mai and Ty Lee do have a fun and touching dynamic. Ty Lee is even more playful and affectionate with Mai than she usually is, and Mai shows genuine care and empathy for Ty Lee. When they reunite in Omashu, Mai asks Ty Lee what happened with her joining the circus. Then, during "The Beach," Mai is the only one who stands up for Ty Lee, telling Zuko to back off and figuring out the root of Ty Lee's desire for attention. We never see Mai this invested in someone else's feelings and well-being with anyone else. The character appropriate choice for Mai in "The Boiling Rock" wasn't betraying Azula for teen love. It was choosing between the friend who encouraged her better self (Ty Lee) or the friend who kept her from growing as a person (Azula).

Can I ask your top favorite fics that you've written (feel free how much that you want to list)? Why they're special to you? Is there a specific inspiration when you wrote them? Thanks....
Hmmmm let's see... I'll do top five. Generally I like ALL the fics that I've written (I wouldn't post something I didn't like, tbh)(even though some have been started and then completely abandoned RIP sorry to them) so it's kinda difficult to rank them, but here's my best whack at it:
Summer Rain- I really enjoy writing this fic. I love the massive cast and all the little storylines happening all at once. I know it's kinda on hiatus at the moment but I really do look forward to when I get back to writing it because I love thinking about how everything will eventually coalesce into the climax. Dropping off on cliffhangers is also a special indulgence of mine, even if it makes people angry 😈I started this one based off of an OLD original story idea i had once upon a time. I realized that it had a better chance of getting written if it was a daisuga fic, so here it is! Though it definitely went completely off the rails from the original plan.... (in a good way)
and the Emi goes to...- The DaiSuga dynamic in this one is probably one of my favorites. At this point everyone should know I LOVE slow burns and this one takes its sweet ass time. And as someone who hates the idea of being a parent myself, it's nice being able to live vicariously through the characters to get my fill of parenthood without ever having to have a kid lmao. My inspiration was "I want to write a single parent AU" and poof, there it was.
Let it Ride- Man I don't even know what it is about this fic but I adore it. I think Daisuga's relationship in it is just so... 😘👌 The childhood best friends who know everything about each other and are willing do to ANYTHING for one another, even give up the opportunity of a lifetime... just the sentiment of loving someone so much that you'd be happy struggling with them really takes me out, you know? It's about love but it's about like, too. They LIKE each other so much, what a pair! I got the idea to write it because I LOVE fake relationship AUs and I LOVE LOVE when the stakes are set at the highest setting, AKA Marriage.
Hard Times- Another fake dating AU because as previously mentioned I LOVE them. This one just checks so many boxes for me. Revenge? Crime? Sex? Comedy? Drama? More revenge? Closure? Catholicism? Sign me up! (as the writer I think I'm automatically signed up, but ya know.) I had a lot of fun writing it. And Radish made beautiful art for it so really, what's not to like? I don't remember what inspired it... I think I just wanted to write another fake dating scenario with a funny meet cute.
Open Tab- I feel like I'm obligated to put Open Tab on any list when it comes to my writing because it's the OG, ya know? It's the first fic that got me deep into the Haikyuu fandom and I gotta appreciate it for that reason alone. We've been through a lot together, me and good ol OT. The only hate mail I ever got was on Open Tab. The thrill of it all... I had so much fun writing it. And while right now it's definitely a bit of a pain in my ass, trying to get the motivation to continue it, I can't erase all the good times we had together. I owe it a lot! Someday it will finally be over and I'm both dreading and looking forward to that day. My inspiration was alcoholism. Drink responsibly, kids.

Since the Elemental trailer FINALLY dropped,it's time to do some speculation... Let's go.
Tumblr media
I think this is Ember and Wade's first encounter.
You can see that the place is a mess, there is stuff scattered on the floor and stocks on fire.
Could be because Ember took charge of her father's shop and is a lil clumsy.
Anyway, one of the pipes looks damaged and she tries to fix it...
Tumblr media
Wade, who I guess is a pipe inspector, slips out and floods the basement.
Tumblr media
Fire Dilf finds out and is PISSED.
That's why he feeds Wade those incandescent meatballs,as a passive aggressive welcome idk lol
Tumblr media
Ember doesn't seem entusiast about taking charge of the family's business and probably wants more in life.
Tumblr media
Main characters' backstories.
Tumblr media
Ember's curiosity leads to her sneaking out to explore Element City (she's never been outside of Fire City as Wade says).
Looks like she is chasing someone here.
Tumblr media
Wade and Ember are going to meet again on the train,as seen in the teaser.
Also,that looks fucking painful 😭
Tumblr media
They eventually start hanging out together and fall in love despite their bad first encounter.
Wade shows her around the city and Ember takes the decision to start a new chapter of her life there, together.
But Fire Milf busts them and opposes their relationship.
This is probably right before the movie's climax.
Tumblr media
WHICH is going to be a huge flood!
I guess they are both going to save the whole city.
Tumblr media
Not sure if this is where Wade is gonna save her or they're just on a date...
Tumblr media
Here we meet another character,he's the one with the flower under the armpit (which is going to be used as a recurring gag).
There is also a cloud lady who looks a bit like an antagonist but I'm not sure ofc.
Well,this is all.
I'm quite invested in this movie and genuinely hope it ends up being average at least-

your post asking what would draw astarion to your pc has been making me actually insane, thankyou i cannot stop thinking of it, I love indulging in characters making bad choices and being kind of terrible people sometimes and actually sitting down and truly thinking about Astarion's almost autopilot attempts to manipulate my barb has given me an entirely new angle
Aaw, that's sweet of you to say, I'm glad my silly ship post could give you some inspo on that! ❤
And yeah, very much same. I think it's valid if people headcanon a gentler or less fraught beginning to the relationship, at least on their PC's end, but I find it a lot more narratively interesting if there's some dysfunction initially. Like not abusive, but definitely unhealthy beginnings, particularly in this case where it's basically canon, intrigue me a lot more and makes the eventual gentleness and true affection that more rewarding.
Love stories are stories first and foremost, and stories need conflict. Imagining Astarion and the PC being fucked up little guys together is that conflict. Can't have climaxes and resolutions without buildup. Wink wink nudge nudge etc.
In my case, them playing 5D manipulation chess and thinking they're outwitting each other might seem terrible at first because wow, your relationship started because you both tried to manipulate the other? How terrible. But if you look at it from another angle, it's just a kindred spirit in there. You did to me what I thought I was doing to you. We both succeeded (you're in love with me now) and we both failed (I'm in love with you now).
Anyway yes, I want to put Astarion and Hiraeth in a blender and turn them into a slurry and inject them into my veins 😊

Now *this* is yuri. Gorgeous-as-hell sci-fi yuri, at that.
I'm gonna spoil the whole thing below the cut. If you just want a basic read/don't read recommendation I'd say this is quite good, maybe even great.
Our premise here is really simple. Two girls find an abandoned machine in a shed, and it turns out to be some kind of hyper-futuristic VR device that transports them to a virtual world, an abandoned cityscape overgrown with plants and populated by animals and the occasional strange being. On its own, "two girls wander around an abandoned place together" is inherently yuri, but Lily System doesn't stick to the subtextual.
Over the course of this story, we learn the precise contours of the relationship between our leads, Nana and Mizuki. Nana is the sensitive intellectual, whereas Mizuki is more forward (with her feelings, romantically, sexually, etc.) and is just a touch tomboyish. Together, they explore the surreal VR world while probing each other with questions about life. With Nana in particular, these tend to revolve around a novel she wrote---a novel whose plot, it gradually becomes clear, is a metaphor both in- and out-of-text for the plot of the manga itself---Mizuki is fond of accusing her book of being 'a lie,' and we only really get a sense of what that means at the end of the manga.
The girls eventually become lost, both literally and figuratively, within the VR world, encountering echoes of themselves who kiss in a bell tower, and haunted, animate school uniforms that seem determined to charge at them. When they begin appearing in the 'real world,' the girls realize they've been in the machine the entire time.
And yet, the conclusion they eventually reach is that maybe that's not so bad. In the manga's final act, we learn of Nana's forgotten middle school love confession to Mizuki, of Mizuki's regretted rejection of that confession, and how both of them seek to course correct now that they're a little older. In reality, Nana is headed to a college in Tokyo. Like the fairies in the book she wrote, she and Mizuki will be torn apart. It seems, for a moment, that Lily System will be a bittersweet tale, but that's not the direction things go in, and I think this decision to avoid the obvious take is what makes Lily System so memorable.
Tumblr media
Instead of abandoning each other for the sake of a "realistic" reckoning with the outside world, Nana and Mizuki abandon the world. They retreat, somehow, into their virtual Eden. If they're ever heard from again, we don't hear about it.
Tumblr media
The manga ends on this note, with Nana and Mizuki in each other's arms, in a paradise hidden to everyone else. They create their own space. It's a beautiful ending, and more than anything, it will absolutely fill you with yearning.
The art, it must be said, is gorgeous throughout, with mangaka Yoshitomi Akihito's landscapes conveying a real sense of a lost world. The character art is great, too, although fairly subtle. There are many little nods and expressions that give almost as much characterization of our lead girls as the dialogue does.
Notably! The manga also---ahem---climaxes with an actual intimate scene. It's kept tasteful, and I thought it made a great inflection point for the story, emphasizing that these two really are meant for each other.
All told, beautiful stuff. I have a few stray observations as well.
There's the curious existence of "Yuuko and Kousuke." This is an unrelated one-shot that seems to be grouped with Lily System for....reasons I'm not entirely clear on? Maybe someone else will know. It has little in common with Lily System in most terms, and it's not even a yuri, being about the budding relationship between a young boy and a girl and the former's first steps toward sexual development. Frankly, I didn't like it very much, but that might just be because of its odd juxtaposition with Lily System, which is just a much better and more interesting piece of work overall.
Secondly, Yoshitomi Akihito wrote this, as mentioned! If you recognize that name it might be from Eat-Man or Blue Drop, the two series he is, I think, best known for in the west. Certainly though, I had no idea that, from what I can tell from looking at his catalogue, at some point he pivoted to writing....well, stuff like this. Romance, or at least romantically-inflected, works about the relationships between people set in strange, detailed worlds. At least one of these (the "boy meets girl fantasy" of Hanako in the 24th Ward) appears to actually be a spinoff or distant sequel to Eat-Man. Interesting career this guy has had!
Apparently Blue Drop was also a yuri series, at least in part? I somehow didn't know that, how embarrassing.

So I gotta ask and I don’t remember if anyone asked before, but was it originally planned for Ignis to always end up with Seeker or do it change overtime?
This is a bit complicated, but the short answer is 'Yes-ish'. Let me explain.
Ignis was always meant to be in love with Seeker. This has been the case since the very first draft I posted of the game back in 2021, one of the very first things you learn about her is that she is attracted to him, and he has yet to reciprocate.
And their relationship has always been an integral part of the story. The way Ignis and Seeker trust each other, the way they interact, and, being honest, and the way they both care for each other more than for the rest of the League combined has always been something I intended to be part of the story. Ignis and Seeker have the deepest relationship of the whole cast, they have changed each other, and, in more than one way, they complete each other. Ignis is the first light in Seeker's life since Victoria stopped being around, and Seeker is... probably the only reason Ignis is even around.
At the point the MC joins the team, I don't believe Ignis or Seeker could function without the other. They don't know how to not need each other any more.
There are two big reveals in Book 1 of AToH. One of them has to do with Aki and Forlorn, but the other is Seeker's, and approximately half of it is dedicated purely to Ignis's reaction, to her proving how inexorably the two of them are tied, and to showing that there exists nothing in the universe that will make them ever let go of each other.
And I made a mistake.
Originally, AToH was only going to have three romances: Aki, Latooni, and Nova. A lot has changed since that idea, but those are the three I always knew I wanted to write. I received a bit of backlash because of that, stuff like 'too few options', 'only one male RO?', and even complaints that Aki and Lat were too basic, or... too overused (I have played every game on Jason Hill's platform. There is no character in there like Aki).
I don't begrudge people who made those comments. Criticism is how authors grow, of course, and those comments helped me grow. I ended up creating Iris, expanding Mars' role, and sidelining Dark Star.
But I overcorrected. I began to consider if Ignis and Seeker's relationship couldn't be written platonically- after all, plenty of superhero stories make a big point of the bonds of friendship. Ignis and Seeker didn't have to be a successful Batman and Wonder Woman, they could just be Goku and Bulma, right?
Wrong. The more I thought about it, the more I realized the climax, the reveal, the characters themselves don't work without both being desperately in love. If I don't have Ignis and Kratis declare they love each other at the game's climax, then there is no point to writing the story. It took me a while to understand that, but I did, eventually.
But as you can obviously see, that didn't mean the MC's relationship with Ignis was scrapped.
And the fandom has a lot of takes about that. Some are subtle, some are not. Some are hostile, some are not. Some are rational pieces, others are impassioned comments.
But the one thing they all have in common is that they're wrong.
I am not writing the path as some sort of punishment, or exercise in hurting the reader. It's certainly not done because I want to scam whoever ends up reading the story, or because I 'don't understand what a RO is'.
I'm writing the Ignis RO because it serves the narrative. It is probably the path I spend the most time thinking about, it has the largest build-up, and it is the path that has the biggest pay-off in narrative weight.
If AToH was to have anything close to a 'canon' path, Ignis would be it.
I hope that answers your question. Thanks for the ask.

hey i just wanted to drop a note to say that i adore your art so much. your style is so round and cosy and your designs are so expressive, and your poses have such a wonderful “weight” to them if that makes sense? just really nicely grounded, not floaty, like i can almost feel the actual real weightiness to the droop of penny’s tentacles in karlach’s hands, or the force behind a very snuggly hug. that’s the best i can explain it lol but yeah it’s just really nice to look at!
also i love that you had your tav unabashedly become a mind flayer, which i don’t think nearly enough people commit to in the player base, and i love that shes still with karlach anyway, it’s so sweet and very refreshing. (oh and i LOVE that your durge is a kobold omg, that is just so delightful and honestly inspired and must have been such a fun playthrough)
anyway yeah i just really enjoy your art and your unique ideas in general and i wanted to thank you for sharing both!
SOBBING!!! this is such a wonderful sweet comment, thank you so much!! that sort of organic, weighty quality is something i really enjoy in art and that i have a lot of fun playing with myself, so i'm very glad to hear it's coming across well to you! especially since you're singling out poses where multiple characters are interacting- that's always something i've had difficulty with, so it's very nice to hear that :]
yesss, penny eventually becoming a mind flayer is something i was set on before i even knew for sure that it was an option- let it never be said that i'm not a sucker for people becoming monsters. and i agree, i would love to see more illithid!tav stuff around- there's so much neat area there to explore! i'm also allllways a sucker for "a kind/good-aligned character becomes a monster and must learn to deal with their monstrous urges/nature while trying to stay true to themself but still in a very real sense becoming someone/thing different". always
i really enjoy the fic "thy people shall be my people" by leomona on ao3 about this- it's post-canon, a mind flayer tav and astarion navigating the whole Seven Thousand Vampire Spawn In The Underdark situation. its from tavs perspective, and does the perspective of a mind flayer in a super interesting and fun way.
no shade to the people who love the emperor (i love it too! fantastic character makes me want to gnaw my arm off) but i do wish more people played around with illithid!tav outside of the context of emp/tav.. like idk i find the concept of a tav that freed orpheus and became an illithid to wield the netherstones really really interesting and graauaag!!h. i have plenty of thoughts on penny's story, her relationship with the emperor leading up to the climax of the story, and her post-ceremorphosis but writing is shrimply not my forte. we'll see if i end up doing more stuff with that
(& EHEHE i love oth. he's just a little guy they're just a little birthday boyyyy. i haven't finished his playthrough yet- still on the latter half of act 3 (and a little burnt out on act 3 rn since i just finished up pennybun's second playthrough. we'll finish oth at some point, though, i still have a final romance scene to get to with wyll.). i'm so glad for the fantastical multiverse mod making playing as a kobold possible- i'm a furry so any more options for animalistic-looking species is a win for me. and i love the idea of bhaal's chosen being a 3-foot tall lyre-playing lizard. they're also just very fun to watch in cutscenes and stuff when the cutscenes aren't breaking. also when they are breaking)
but yes thank you so much this message really made me smile :]

Hello mister Corhore, allow me to pitch to you my idea for a Wonder Woman comic run about Diana having twins, a girl and a boy, like you had discussed a bit ago. The run in question would be titled something like "Wonder Born" and I'd like to say that it'd take place in the main comic universe so that the kids could be cannon like Clark's kids.
So here's the set up: The story would, of course, follow the lives of Diana's twins as they grow up on Themyscira. Both children would idolize their mother and want to be like her growing up. I'd say that it'd be fun if the two had proper Greek names given the cultural origin of Themyscira.
The big problem that'd make up the start of the run would be the fact that Diana's son wouldn't have the same learning opportunities as his sister. He wouldn't be outright discriminated against, as you'd be stupid to do that to Wondy's kid, but he'd be very subtilty pushed towards what men are expected to do on Themyscira, which would be revealed to be more menial tasks and jobs. Grow and process food, build infrastructure, manufacture clothing and equipment, and be house husbands.
That is, until he ends up in the class of a new Amazonian character who'd take on an antagonist role in the run, as she'd be taking out her frustrations of seemingly only being able to birth sons onto both her children and Diana's son. This would lead to her picking on the kid while he tries to get at home lessons with his mom when she has the time to. Now, no one would know about the way the teacher treats her sons for a long while, as eventually Diana's son's situation would get bad enough, in the sense it's clear he needs to be taught in a different way that suits him that Themyscira just doesn't offer, that Diana sends her son off to learn about fending for himself with Clark and his family. All the while, Diana's daughter has been treated well by the other Amazonians to a point that Diana herself would often have to argue to get her son involved in activities with his sister.
Now, with the two's stories separated from each other, I can go into how it is Diana has these two in the first place. Since I can't predict what her love life will be like in the future, and most certainly don't know what it's like now, I've come up with this: It was Aphrodite. How and why? Well, first, the how. Essentially, Diana would one night stay up late thinking on her life, reflecting on her relationships and past, and eventually come to the resolve that she wants to eventually be a mother, and that she'll have children before she dies. Then, when she wakes up, it's clear she's already expecting. When Diana learns that she'll have twins some weeks later, Aphrodite would appear to her in her private chambers and confirm what Diana had thought all along, that her children were a gift from the goddess. Aphrodite would then confirm that it was a no strings attached thing because she just wanted to do something nice for Diana and knew how true her convictions to wanting to be a mother were, and that the kids would only inherit good looks from Aphrodite, despite not needing to given how great Diana looks.
Now, returning to the main storyline, eventually the twins would reunite on Themyscira by the time they're about 13 to 14, as strangeness begins to brew on the island and Diana's son sets out to figure out why his old teacher was so strange now that he looks back on it. To shorten this up, it'd be discovered that the teacher kinda went off the deep end one day and began secretly manipulating various men around the island into developing radical ideas, to make them totally subservient to all women on Themyscira, and that her sons went missing. I'd like to imply they might've died though I'm not married to the idea. It'd all ultimately climax in a fight between Wonder family and the teacher with her brainwashed men minions. Menions.
Teacher is defeated and can go on to be a recurring villain meant to be more deranged and strange than serious, while the twins would become junior heroes. Daughter can take on the Wonder Girl mantel while the son would strike out as something other than Wonder Boy or Wonder Man and instead be something like Icon or even Themyseus.

Some more parallels between Gothel’s lines in the movie and Rapunzel and Cassandra’s lines in the show than the direct “You want me to be the bad guy? Fine, now I’m the bad guy” repetition:
Gothel: My dear, this whole romance that you’ve invented/Just proves you’re too naive to be here.
Cass (“Rapunzel and the Great Tree”): Are you that obliviously naive that you can’t see -
Gothel: Enough with the lights, Rapunzel! You are not leaving this tower, ever!
Raps (“Rapunzel and the Great Tree”): Enough, Cassandra! No one is getting rid of anyone.
Gothel: I so hate leaving you after a fight, especially when I’ve done absolutely nothing wrong.
Raps (“Rapunzel: Day One”): I get why Cass is mad at me. She told me not to use the decay spell back at the tree, and I did, and she hurt her hand. But if she had just listened to me and stayed out of it, this all could’ve been avoided.
Gothel: Now look what you’ve done, Rapunzel.
Cass (“Cassandra’s Revenge”): Was it your choice to push her out a window?
How incredibly sad is it that even after her death, even though each other, Gothel continues to hurt her daughters?
#NO NEITHER OF THEM ARE ‘INHERENTLY EVIL’ NO THEY’RE NOT AS BAD AS GOTHEL OR ANYTHING#YES THEY’RE TOTALLY DIFFERENT PEOPLE WITH MANY STRENGTHS AND POSITIVE QUALITIES#but they have picked up toxic traits from her#raps got eighteen years of her being her literal only human contact and role model#cass got her earliest formative years with her and then those issues were left to fester#it’s completely natural that they imitate certain behaviours#and i think it’s interesting how the show addresses this in their respective character arcs#and how it impacts their relationship specifically with each other#like the climax of the argument in the great tree is them both saying something gothel might say#this is not hating on them this is just an observation#i love them both#but seriously#fuck gothel#as much as i defend the show i do feel that it could have done better with both of their characterizations#so i kinda want a fanfic about them processing and addressing that they can act like gothel sometimes even though they're good people#especially rapunzel because she got the most emotional abuse from gothel and yet also ironically did a lot of emotional harm to cass#i think she would have a complete crisis at first and there's a big meaty hurt/comfort character study there#might write it myself eventually if i can handle another to-write fic idea#tangled#tangled the series#rapunzel's tangled adventure#mother gothel#gothel#tangled gothel#rapunzel#tangled rapunzel#tts rapunzel#rta rapunzel#cassandra#tangled cassandra

𝓡𝓮𝓺𝓾𝓮𝓼𝓽 : Makki and Matsukawa would totally share the same pussy and that thought alone makes my brain go brrr 🥴 same with tsumu and samu sharing 💦 do you think ushi would share with tendo sorry my brain is on a three way kick
𝓟𝓪𝓲𝓻𝓲𝓷𝓰𝓼 : Hanamaki x Reader x Matsukawa - Atsumu x Reader x Osamu - Ushijima x Reader x Tendou
𝓦𝓪𝓻𝓷𝓲𝓷𝓰𝓼 : NSFW - Fluff - I love them
𝓐𝓾𝓽𝓱𝓸𝓻𝓼 𝓝𝓸𝓽𝓮 : I 100% agree they would be in a poly relationship with you xoxo and thats how it would be. But again I'm going to try and capture how they'd actually be when sharing xoxo I hope you like it!!! I hope I captured them xoxo!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Matsukawa and Makki 100% are both in a relationship with you and they love every minute of it.
They don't do anything with one another but they sure as hell do a lot to you. Making you break between them is something they both look forward to damn near every day.
Matsukawa works during the day and because Makki is currently jobless he's left to "take care" of you. Don't worry, Makki makes sure you're nice and satisfied before you leave the house. Makes sure you leave feeling full, if you catch my drift.
Speaking of being full, you'll more than likely be with them for the long run because they honestly couldn't imagine being with anyone else… and they both want a kid… of their own.
They will be filling you up with their cum till you're nice and pregnant, and there isn't really a plan. They both just fuck you and see who's kid comes first.
If Makki's kid comes first then you're off limits until Matsukawa gets you pregnant… they aren't trying to raise more than two kids… Neither of them could afford it as much as they'd love to see you pregnant 24/7.
Both are protective of you. If you're at a bar with them and they see some guy getting handsy with you they will come up behind you- Makki snakes his arm around your waist while Matsukawa wraps his arms around your neck.
They'll put on a small show for the ass hat who dared tried to swoop you up,  Makki starts to raise your sexy little dress and Matsukawa begins to mark your neck.
After the guy hastily makes his way out of the bar -stumbling in the process- Matsu and Makki push you in the men's restroom to have some fun with you.
Tumblr media
Osamu and Atsumu will share you for about a year or two before Atsumu breaks down and forces you on the spot to pick one of them.
You didn't ever see yourself being in such a  predicament, but here you were… stuck between the Miya twins as they fight over who gets to date you.
Atsumu is the one who grabs you by your arm and pins you to his chest, his other hand running through your hair "(y/n) knows who the better choice is!"
Osamu is next to grab you by your arm and yank you to his own chest, "Do ya feel threatened by ya much better lookin twin!!"
Atsumu was furious and in a blind rage he thought what he was saying was the best thing "HOW BOUT WE SHARE HER THEN!"
His plan was to prove to you he was the better twin…
Its not all the time, but now and then they will both tag team you and spit roast you.
Atsumu isn't a fan of sharing -even though this was his idea…  he's an idiot-.
Osamu isn't really a fan of it either. Samu however won't ever admit it… but he loves to smirk at his brother devilishly when pounding into your tight cunt. Making you scream his name and moan in pure bliss. He knows he's bigger than Atsumu and it makes him cum ten times harder knowing he can please you and reach deeper than his twin.
Thus what starts to claw at Atsumu. He knows he knows much better tricks and moves in bed but the way you moan for Osamu is different.
Samu hates it when he's trying to sleep and Atsumu has you caged underneath him, pounding you raw and making you scream as he bites down on your neck. Osamu likes a sleep schedule and Atsumu loves fucking it up with your help.
There are decent days where they do actually enjoy sharing you.
Osamu will make you your favorite for lunch and Atsumu will have you in his lap while you and him both eat samu's delicious meal. It makes Osamu smile tenderly, watching both you and his twin enjoy his food.
Atsumu enjoys walking in on you and Samu playing video games, his twin laying atop of you lazily while smashing the B button. It makes Atsumu want to jump on the two of you, so he does :).
Nights like those usually end with all three of you curled up. Osamu with half his body on you and Atsumu wrapping himself around your other half. Or you'll be snuggled into Osamu’s back and Atsumu will be spooning you. They don't admit it until it's the end of the relationship, but they both really liked sleeping like that.
Both keep an eye on you when out in public and to be honest no one ever tries to mess with you when they're around, it's nice.
About a year and a half goes by and Atsumu is starting to make it big, more girls are trying to get him in their bed and he hates it. He wants you and only you. He wants a family.
Osamu is starting to feel similar feelings, he wants a child to feed his food to, he wants you to himself in his own bed and he wants you to work at his restaurant with him…
You're all having dinner when Atsumu aggressively slams him utensils down and stands up dramatically, "Ya gotta pick (y/n), me or him." Both him and Samu's heads are hanging low… one of their hearts were about to shatter, they just hoped it wasn't theirs.
Tumblr media
You were originally JUST Tendou's girlfriend. He doesn't share, and you sure as hell didn't want some grimey girl to put their hands on him.
But, things change and now Ushijima is on top of you pounding into you as if you were going to be his last lay. His cock slamming into your cervix as you cry fresh tears.
Ushijima looks up at Tendou who is now caressing your cheek, wiping away your tears, "its okay, she's enjoying it.  My little bunny is just really sensitive and is trying to hold back her climax."
Ushijima has never had a girlfriend before and he never really was interested in one until he met you. He was jealous of you and Tendou and eventually his guessing best friend caught on.
Tendou is the one who offered Ushijima to join in the next time you and him had sex,  that it would only be a one time thing. But that one time turned into another time and then a third time until finally it was just a normal thing.
Now you have two tall men in your life who want nothing more than to please you and make you happy.
When they're both out at the mall or grabbing groceries they'll both either find a small pin for you or some small trinket and bring it home for you. Or if they're at the grocery store they will both pick out a treat specially for you.
Ushijima sometimes doesn't know what to pickout for you though so Tendou will walk up to him smiling and help, "no no, this one! She'll like these the most!"
They both enjoy curling up with you on the couch to watch movies and fall asleep. Ushi and Tendou are big babies and it always makes you giggle when they both fall asleep on you.
Bedtime is HOT, and not as in sexy hot but sweaty hot. My god both these beast put out a lot heat and as much as you try you can never roll away from them. If its not Tendou pulling you back to them its Ushi wrapping his strong arm around you so you can't move.
Best to sleep naked or in your undies babe.

Not sure how many spn storylines have Dean and Cas explicitly or implicitly paralleled with a heterosexual couple's arc, but it's gotta be a lot. Like from Cas' first few episodes you've got Ruby and Sam's relationship contrasted with Cas and Dean. You've got Cas and Dean vs. Anna and Dean in mid season 4. S5 has Dean offering end of the world experiences to both Cas and Jo. The rest of the season is heavy on the Cas and Dean parallel existential crisis train so there's not much in the way of women involved at all. Though you do have Jo sacrificing herself in a grand explosion to save everyone from hellhounds at the mid season climax and much later Cas blowing himself to kingdom come to save Dean and Co. from angels when they're trying to break into the Beautiful Room. In 6 there's a triangular thing where Dean is stuck between like three hard places because he can't be with Lisa because of soulless Sam and he can't focus on Cas' needs because of re-ensouled Sam. Then you've got Dean and Benny and Dean and Cas love triangle contrasted with Sam and Amelia and her dude (I can't go into detail 'cause the filter on those Sam flashback scenes plus the scene "dialogue" makes me want to scratch off my own skin). Obviously Cain and his wife vs Cas. There's Ishim's weakness (Lily Sunder) vs. Cas' weakness (Dean). Eventually you've also got the explicit "what's real-? We are" parallels between Dean/Cas and Sam/Eileen in 15.
I'm sure there's more, somebody should enlighten me. Certainly there are more of those parallels happening with Dean/Other Male Character. Thinking of that Wrestling ep where Dean and Sam split off to faun over their aging teenage wrestling crushes - male and female respectively. Like it HAPPENS A LOT. At some point was it just like a KNOWN thing behind the scenes? Like "Obviously fellow writing team members we have to figure out how to write Dean into another M/M thematic mirror to a M/F relationship." Like somebody knew this. Writers aren't dumb. It's their job to notice these things (even if other people on the team wrote them initially) and decide whether or not to continue adding to the trend and building a thesis. Right? RIGHT? AHHHH.

Fics that inspire my writing - Part I
Tumblr media
This is Part I. The other parts will be linked here as they are posted: Part II | Part III
When people ask "What's your favourite fic?" I can't truly give an answer. It depends on my mood! How can I choose only one? Sometimes you want to reread that one fic for emotional comfort, sometimes you want that other one for the hots, sometimes you want to suffer a bit with the characters and have the relief of the happy ending, and sometimes you love a fic so so so much, but it hurts and you don't pick it up again ever. There's no way I can choose a favourite.
So this is just a disclaimer that this list is not really about favourites.
This list is about writing.
I'm not as prolific as a writer than I am as a reader. I try to do my best, of course. The best way to learn a lot about writing, though? I have to say it's reading. I can attribute most of my vocabulary (in all languages I know) to reading. When talking about writing fiction, it's more than vocabulary, though: narrative, prose, dialogues, plot, characters, themes... It's a lot happening.
These fics I'm going to mention are the ones that I read and think yo myself: oooh, I wish I could write like that. So I use them to study! Perhaps I could try this type of narrative? Or I could build my characters to be complex in this way? Perhaps I could phrase things in a less mechanical way, like this author does?
I'm drafting a lot of stuff recently and in these new works I'm trying to improve the way I write. I'm a quick reader but slow writer, but I hope my future works can show I learned from these stories below.
So, here we go, 10 Fics That Inspire My Writing, in no particular order. This list is not exhaustive either, it was horrible to choose just 10.
Part I
Limping forward series by bendingsignpost
I absolutely love this series, which is a main fic from John's POV and a short prequel from Sherlock's POV, supposed be read after the main story. I'll refer to the main story from now on.
This fic is dialogue-heavy. The moments of description are usually very close to the POV, and while it's used to indicate actions, the main purpose is always to show what John is feeling by how he interacts with whatever and whoever is around him. Sometimes we are left with dialogues that are not explicit. The characters know exactly what they mean, by the described reactions, but the reader is left to wonder - or most importantly, to actually think about what they mean given the context. The fic feels almost like an intelectual exercise in which we practice how to read people's feelings. The climax of the fic doesn't come from a misunderstanding that can be fixed with a conversation, for example. It comes from an emotional misunderstanding, and it's brutal, because there's no way it couldn't happen. Both John, Sherlock, and the reader need to understand the meanings behind the actions - if you have a bias or trauma, it can be hard. Sherlock's deduction at the climax scene comes from an emotional perspective - he deduces how John felt, and that would finally explain John's actions, which weren't clear for him. Just like Sherlock says in the story - it's magnificent.
These two aspects - dialogue with implicit meaning and description with a purpose - are aspects I lack in my own writing. I struggle immensely with dialogue, and my descriptions are usually "Character A is here or there, talking to B or C, and they're thinking X or Y". I look up to how this fic works in trying to get better, and I did try to incorporate those "invisible conversations" into my works.
The Illusion of Control series by starrysummernights
Uuuh, omegaverse! Not everyone's cup of tea. I love omegaverse though, for two reasons: you can create completely different world dynamics and sex/gender dynamics, and play with it.
This series needed to be a series. Every part is important. We have alternating POVs of John and Sherlock. If you read the series as a WIP, as it was posted, you could have been under the impression that it was strictly porny. But it helps a ton to read it following the chronology of the story (the prequels and sequels to the original one were attributed accordingly). Because the trick of this series is John's character arc. We are immediately presented with John's life story since childhood until he starts a relationship with Sherlock. He has endured great emotional trauma, but at first he doesn't even recognise he has been traumatised. Lifelong issues build up and eventually will spill over. It's not quick to deal with it, that's why it needs a full series. His relationship with Sherlock deepens, he needs to make some important choices, he faces great struggles. And step by step, we follow John's journey. It's absolutely brilliant to get there. It hurts, but it hurts good. And it's nobody's fault, at the end. He's not reduced to his issues, he's an entire complex person, but we are always aware how said issues played an important role in shaping this character.
Writing such a long story, posting it out of chronological order, and not losing sight of the character arc is what makes this fic stand out. One of my published fics specifically took great inspiration in this one while building a character arc for John.
Trying to Find The In-Between by NoStraightLine
Later on this was re-posted as a multi chapter fic, but I originally read it as a series when it was a WIP, and personally I think it works better this way.
This amazing work taught me a lot about causes and consequences. I think the entire series can be grouped in three parts. First part is the beginning of their relationship. They are learning about each other, playing piece by piece like a puzzle. Then second part is around Reichenbach Fall, they separate and emotional fuckery ensues, up until Sherlock comes back, the pinnacle of angst. Third and last part is them relearning each other from scratch. The relationship needs to be completely different - and they don't even know if they will get together after all, if it will ever work again. And here's the main point: it's not a single decision that warrants consequences. They had a super intense relationship at first - but if you go too high, the fall is worse. Everything is borderline unhealthy, but it could easily be attributed to love. The author doesn't shy away from showing us it's a bit of both: big love can be a bit unhealthy. To put up boundaries between them so they both keep sane you also need to limit how you treat each other, and what you expect from each other.
This fic made me think I need to estimate the consequences of how I build up characters' interactions. The reactions need to be accordingly to that measure. In one fic I tried to play with this intensity ended up being borderline unhealthy. Not something you'd want in real life, of course, but in fiction... anything is possible.
This is the end of Part I. Stay tuned for Parts II and III!

theory time - Sutera (spoilers)
At first I had assumed the Sutera is to be some kind of reveal to Miko, but that doesn't sound quite right - she already loves Ishigami a whole lot even without knowing about it (as far as we know of). So, what else could it be important for?
My guess is, just like the heart keychain was a catalyst to get Miko to think about Ishigami in a romantic light (or admitting to it conciously), the flower bookmark will be the push Ishigami needs to view Miko as someone who can accept his feelings.
Once Ishigami drops his self-sabotaging thoughts, there is literally nothing stopping him from being head over heels for Miko. She's literally everything he dreams of in a girl, just as he is to her. They have already worked through the worst part of an initial relationship which is figuring out how to deal with each other's bad sides and both have improved on them a lot thus far through their interactions with other people. It's no coincidence Miko and Ishigami have very similar flaws, and that makes them even warier of each other at first, because neither was ready to face their own selves before.
He has his defenses so high and such a strong fear of being vulnerable around Miko (especially because she is part of the past he tried to discard to get over his "mistakes" AND guilt over being the one who pushed her away in the first place, to protect her probably), that it hindered their natural progression. That, and his overwhelming inferiority complex and fear of failure, which he is finally working on getting over thanks to being free of the rumors that held him down even harder and starting to find some personal success.
Sure, Osaragi interrogated him about the flower - but never told Ishigami what Miko did to the letter. For all he knows, she could have trashed it. The second time we see the bookmark in Miko's hands, she shoves it in her pocket before Ishigami can see it - I truly don't think he knows she preserved the flower.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ishigami's biggest regret in middle school is feeling like he accomplished/changed nothing - even now he believes the Ootomo incident may have robbed her of a chance to grow as a person - so the true strength of the Sutera probably isn't having Miko magically find out about it and love Ishigami harder (lol unless she found out the truth about it around the time he was rewriting her notes, but even then she already acted as if she liked him before ), it's for Ishigami to open his eyes that someone was able to understand his feelings/efforts and cherished them. He knows Miko "didn't break" as he feared she could, but Osaragi never told him just how much the gesture meant to Miko. Miko even says it's THE reason she was able to persevere so far and is always telling Osaragi how important it is to her.
Tumblr media
Is the flower romantic by itself on middle school Ishigami's side? I USED TO SAY NOT. Now with foresight, my take is that the Sutera represents how his feelings for Miko have always been in turmoil. Even though Ishigami is an expert at hanakotoba, he still chose a flower with so many meanings because he didn't want to define his feelings back then. It is clear he knows the romantic implications of giving a flower to a girl in the first place - it is his ideal of the perfect love confession, after all, as he says to Kaguya more than once. If he didn't want to risk being misinterpreted, just the letter would have sufficed.
(btw, speaking of hanakotoba, the Taiwan Cherry Tree that was the climax to Tsubame's rejection could be symbolic of how Tsubame could have "scattered" because she turned down Ishigami's crush, but she "held onto the branch", because they're still friends :') I'm counting on senpai to eventually be of help to Ishimiko, seriously.)
Osaragi asks if Ishigami liked Miko back then because of the letter, but it's important to note he is entirely evasive of the question and does not deny it clearly. He also keeps his back turned to her, his expression obscured, there is no internal monologue, he is sweating bullets and his eyes are shut. Doesn't look so confident, does he?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And that's not all! There's a narrative bridge that unites the heart keychain and the flower.
The tagline to the cultural festival - personified by the keychain - was : "Get those burning feelings out". While we haven't seen it again yet, it's implied Miko retrieved the heart keychain from the disciplinary committee's lost and found box before the 3 month claim period was up (or at least was SERIOUSLY entertaining the thought of doing so) - foreshadowing she would "break rules" in the near future to secure Ishigami's heart. And guess what...bad girl Iino is indeed a thing right now.
On that vein, the Sutera represents all the complex feelings involving them: wishing for a little strength, fighting like family sometimes, admiration, a love that couldn't blossom and was "forgotten" because of circumstances. And because of their efforts to connect and meet half-way - it can still lead to burning feelings, after all.
It's not just a translation either, it's the same in the original too.
Tumblr media
As of recent events, Kaguya technically knows of the bookmark's existence, that it belongs to Miko and that the flower was given by Ishigami. If anyone is going to pry it out of him or tell him about how much of an impact it made, it could be her (as I doubt Osaragi will get too involved in their relationship's development any further now that she made peace with Miko pursuing him, but who knows. I'm undecided if Aka wants to or feels like she needs to be "redeemed", because she is not portrayed as malicious towards Miko, she just has her own reasons. If she does want to PROVE she just wants Miko to make Ishigami happy and cares for Miko's happiness as well, she could help).
Tumblr media
Once again, I'm waiting patiently.
post 238 observations: OHO would you look at that. I could have afforded to be more optimistic about how Ishigami's realization of his feelings would play out (i love it HARD), but my argument stands - if the Sutera shows up again, it will be to show Ishigami how much Miko is able to love him back. I'm giddy and suprised he didn't NEED IT to realize Miko makes him happy and that it's safe for him to fall for her as hard as he wants. He's always had tension and an unmistakable, unconcealable MAGNETISM to her and was chasing her with his eyes, so it only makes sense just finally having her smile directed at himself would be enough to get him good. And because they have been hurt before and grown up a lot during the story, when they do get together they won't have unrealistic expectations of each other NOR romance, and will accept the other for what they are.
Aka is a mastermind in romance in the sense that he discarded any things that can be argued to cheapen or make it seem like it's the work of a STRING OF FATE or that he as an author is forcing his characters together. Other series could have used the culture festival keychain or the bookmark as crutches to MAKE two characters become intertwined, but Ishigami and Miko are so involved that they don't need any magic items to be charmed by each other, they are just tools to elevate or represent those feelings.
AWWWW
and on theory time, the sutera can go various ways and it's up to Aka what spice he wants: Miko already figured it out from his handwriting/ she hasn't but finding it out will be a critical hit to her heart and indeed make her even more hopelessly in love/what i argued for in this post/something else entirety that I trust Aka to surprise us with. And I love all possible paths all the same. At this point even if it never shows up again I'd still be happy with how far we've come, they are adorable.

ao3 interview
tagged by: @cyanoscarlet thank you, dani 🥰💕
how many works do you have on ao3?
— 18.
what’s your total ao3 word count?
— 39.2k, haha. I mostly write short one shots, and quite a bit of my work has been exclusive to twt/tumblr and zines, so that's why.
how many fandoms have you written for and what are they?
— three.
bungou stray dogs (10)
haikyuu!! (5)
jujutsu kaisen (3)
as you can see, i am. very picky about what fandoms and what subject matters i write about sfhskdk
what are your top 5 fics by kudos?
emptiness to melody (bsd; kunikidazai)
this brief tragedy of flesh (jjk; nanago)
let me tell you a story about love (haikyuu; miya atsumu character study)
you are what happens after the war (bsd; kunikidazai)
leave the ruins where they fall (bsd; soukoku)
what are your top 5 fics by comment thread count?
love me just a little longer (bsd; odazai)
you are what happens after the war (bsd; kkdz)
this brief tragedy of flesh (jjk; nng)
salt/water (haikyuu; iwaoi)
emptiness to melody (bsd; kkdz)
do you respond to comments, why or why not?
— yes, absolutely, although it might take me absurdly long to get around to it lol. unless it's a comment that doesn't warrant a reply, i do make it a point to reply to all of them eventually.
what’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?
— ahh, this one is complicated. i love angst actually, but only of a very specific brand. my fics aren't so much angsty in ending as they are just. pervaded with a sense of sadness throughout—fluff coloured with angst, as i like to call it. pick up literally any fic of mine, there's always angst interwoven throughout.
that said, i did once write a fic (without you) that ended in major character death and it disturbed me so much that i ended up orphaning it lmao
have you ever received hate on a fic?
— no, thankfully, not as of now. that might be attributed to the fact that my body of work itself is not very big, but i like to think that i attract a more civilized demographic with my fics 😉
do you write smut? If so, what kind?
— no. never have i tried and never will i ever try, i think. the most i can do is make out and fade to black. i don't actually have any interest in writing the nitty gritty details, thank you very much.
have you ever had a fic translated?
— uhhh, yes, i think. i've been asked for permission multiple times but have only got back the completed link from the translator once or twice. this here, for instance, is a tumblr askbox fic that got translated into chinese.
have you ever co-written a fic before?
— no, but i'm open to the idea! it just has to be with someone whose style and ideas i click with.
what’s your all-time favorite ship?
— ahaha, this is hard. it keeps changing but iwaoi seem to have passed the test of time <3
what’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?
— ouch, okay. there is more than one. that one dazai-centric skk wip that's been lying in my drafts for almost an year now. it's a study into dazai's relationship with food and with the needs of his body in general (read: his very thinly-veiled eating disorder). i really fucking want to complete this, but it isn't looking likely at the moment :'(
what are your writing weaknesses?
— longform, multichapter fics, definitely. i cannot, for the life of me, plot out a proper three act structure with a subplot and a climax and all. i really wish i could, and i greatly respect the people who can :')
what are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?
— only if it fits the situation. otherwise it just ends up looking pretentious and pedantic. i used a couple of spanish dialogues in salt/water as well as my iwaoi zine fic, for instance, bc they're both post timeskip and set in argentina
what was the first fandom you wrote for?
— bsd! that was two years ago, and i'm so grateful to my hyperfixation sdfshfk
what’s your favorite fic you’ve written?
