BakuSquad In Jail
I saw these pics randomly and talking with my friend, @thatweirdfrenchcanadian , we came up with some funny HCs for the BakuSquad and the reason they got in jail.
I have no idea who the artists are, I’ve been having the pics in my phone for a while, but if anyone knows the artist, please let me know so I can tag them appropriately!
Tumblr media
Beginning:
They were at a party, just the 5 of them, and they were happy for getting into Pro-Hero agencies, and now they weren’t side kicks anymore, so of course, they had to celebrate accordingly!
A huge party where they all let loose and have fun without anyone judging!
What none of them were expecting was to get shit faced drunk and do lots of weird shit, enough to somehow get into jail for whatever reason.
Kaminari Denki:
Baby Pikachu got so drunk that he made Momo make a Pikachu onesie for him, on the spot, along with a Naruto headband, and made Mina do some lines on his face, to resemble Naruto, then went out to the nearest monument and threw paint at it.
If they were human statues, he’d draw lightnings on their foreheads and write “VOLDEMORT WAS HERE” on their torsos.
If they were animals, he will paint them in weird colours.
And if they were some new art, he’d just throw random paint and say “IT’S MODERN ART, YOU’LL NEVER UNDERSTAND, NORMIE!”
If that wasn’t enough, he stole a shopping cart and made Kirishima push him in it down the street.
Street that was actually a slope made by Todoroki in an attempt to ice skate and show off.
Unfortunately, Kirishima got distracted by a pigeon and started running after it to become the new Snow White, and Denki kept going down the ice slope, shrieking in the cart, thinking he was in a roller coaster.
When the policeman got him, he started giggling, saying he’s not drunk, just super LIT, FAM, and started doing a super fast triple dab.
Triple dab that he ended up slamming his arm into his head so hard that he knocked himself out and he was out like a light.
Bakugou Katsuki:
You can’t blame a guy who goes to sleep earlier than 9pm and barely drinks alcohol, so he can have a perfect hero-training schedule that he got drunk from very few shots of vodka and now he was feeling light like a feather and wants to entertain people...
More or less because their awes and gasps of wonder boost his ego so much that he wants to show off his explosions.
Katsuki starts doing random explosions around the house, then, when people tell him to do flashier tricks, he goes out and pulls lots of different typed of explosions, flashier, with more light, with more heat, with more colour, with more sound and whatever else the audience wanted.
When the cops came, they wanted to charge him for illegal use of fireworks, which sent Bakugou into a blind frenzy since NOBODY CALLS HIS EXPLOSIONS MERE, LAME FIREWORKS, OKAY?!
He started roaring and growling at the policeman, showing him that he can do EXPLOSIONS not some stupidly lame fireworks, which only ends up with lots of curses, fighting, and it takes a lot of new policeman to get him an elephant tranquillizer to make him stop.
Of course, they needed special restraints for him, since he’s so violent, but that wasn’t a problem, and Bakugou was used to these restraints, since he was forced to wear them twice before.
SERO HANTA
Poor Sero was mostly innocent, and he is pretty used to light drinking and these types of parties, but he really wanted to let loose this time around, so he started playing beer pong, never have I ever with vodka and tequila shots, and many other drinking games that made him SO happy in his drunken state.
As well as that, he had some weed joints that he really wanted to smoke...
And some LSD, because what could be better than trippin’ at a party when you’re so happy?
Always time for first times!
He used his tape to get into a spiderman position, hanging down from the ceiling after getting the LSD and started smoking some joints, letting the euphoria take effect on him.
Hanta started grinning and giggling, swaying back and forth with that tape, until someone, that he still has no idea, even to this moment (Definitely Denki) dared him to play Tarzan out in the city, so he started jumping from building to building, yelling incoherently that he is the KING OF THE URBAN JUNGLE...Or something like that, it was mostly unintelligible.
When he got arrested, he got into a spiderman position again and winked at the policeman, asking if he wanted to be his Mary Jane.
Then passed out and fell on the ground...For some reason, giggling in that unconscious state.
Ashido Mina
Mina was drinking cocktails, martinis and tequilas with each costume she would do for the catwalk she created in the house, each time, flashier and more ridiculous outfits, but hey, they were fun, and for some reason, most of them had holes...From accidental acid drips.
She MAY also be on acid anyway, who knows...Mina says her name is symbolic for more than her Quirk...
She got dared to recreate some iconic make ups from James Charles and mid-way to her look, she realised she didn’t have everything she needed, so she went to the closest shop and raided the make up isle, trying out each and every one of the products there, using her selfie camera as a mirror and trying to do her best.
The shop assistants were horrified at the girls behaviour, but her only answer was “Hi, I’m the Alien Queen, wanna be my Predator?”
When the cop car came over, and the lights started going red and blue, she thought she was being photographer by the paparazzi, so she brought a random pair of sunglasses, with the tag in the middle of her face, and put her fluffy boa around her shoulders.
And started posing.
She didn’t have perfect balance for most of the posings, but she tried her best to mimic all those cool fashion pics she saw in magazines.
At the end, she asked the cop if he wanted an autograph, and when he refused, she giggled, took out her eyeliner and wrote on his forehead ALIEN QUEEN XOXO
Kirishima Eijirou
Kiri was the most innocent in all of this, and he shouldn’t have been arrested in the first place, but he wanted to be where he best friends are, so that’s just that.
Well, he was convinced by the rest of the BakuSquad that it’s MANLY to drink, so he had a drinking contest with TetsuTetsu, that ended up with both of them under the table pretty fast.
The bet of this contest was that whoever was the first to wake up would win, and since TetsuTetsu won, Kiri had to take the water gun that Tsuyu brought and pretend to play CS:Go in the nearest store.
Of course, he did just that, but he was completely oblivious to the fact that Tokoyami wrapped his bandana to his face, instead of his forehead, to look like a funny western cowboy or whatever, and when he got in the store, all not-so-stealthily, the shop assistants hit the alarm and called the cops for having a robber.
With all that loud noise, he started squirting water everywhere, shrieking and saying WATER IN THE HOLE, THROW THE GRENADE, TAKE COVER, HIT SPACE, AHHHHHH!
Needless to say, the assistants and customers were more confused than scared.
When the cop came over, he blinked at him confused, saying that he can’t get in jail, since he’s a shark, and then shoot water in the cop’s face.
Oops?
Tumblr media
The end:
When they all woke up, Mina was the first to realise what happened, due to her phone buzzing like crazy to her Snapchat stories, and only then she realised what happened...At least to her.
Then, her jailer told her how she got there, and she could only laugh at how bad she was in only a few hours of the night.
Of course, Yaomomo was graceful enough to bail them out of there, was the caution was nothing more than a breeze and they didn’t actually do anything too bad to actually keep them there anyway.
All that, while Midoriya was bawling his eyes out like a waterfall to some random jailer, telling them how amazingly kind hearted and nice heroes they are, and that they did a mistake, and it won’t happen again...
Blah Blah Blah.
He didn’t even realise how Mina walked out of her cell and sprinted to the boys’ cell, where she stood on the ground, telling them what Jirou, Tsuyu and Tokoyami told them happened that night and how they all ended up there.
Of course, it was all in good fun, despite the fact that they were sure Aizawa was going to hunt them down and kill them for the idiocy they did...
But they aren’t called the 1-Braincell Squad for no reason, right?!
To commemorate such a weirdass experience, Mina took the picture with her phone, telling them all to look natural, so they did as told.
Except Bakugou, who was beyond pissed off at what happened and kept grumbling something about stupid fireworks.
They were SO doing this shit again.

Fallout ask meme
ooo this is a long one
2. What biome/state are you hoping gets a Fallout game next?
I’d love to see Denver get into one of the games. A city filled with rabid dogs, where you survive by traversing the rooftops, sounds really fun to play in. Hawaii would also be cool- would they have vaults? Completely new types of mutated animals?
Outside of America, I’d love to see parts of China in a fallout game, considering the lore about the war between America and China. I want to see how the war effected a country other than America, and seeing the remains of the other side of the conflict could be wild. I don’t see it happening realistically, but a fallout game that maybe wasn’t considered part of the main series (like new vegas), but set somewhere in China, would be neat.
8. Which fallout tyrant/antagonist/bad guy do you MOST want to see get guillatined?
I find this kind of hard to answer, because most characters get their comeuppance anyway. Anybody in the legion, I guess. They’re well written but they’re detestable.
11. What is the most horrifying area/aspect in the fallout series to you?
Area? Vault 11. I went into it entirely blind with no idea what was there the first time, and the film they show you just before a shitton of robots come out of the walls and kill you- it made me jump the first time I saw it.
Aspect? Honestly, Fallouts whole pre-war tension about nuclear warfare is scary as shit even now. Nukes are terrifying. I read some of the fallout handbook that came with the first game, and they go through the stages of a nuclear explosion, the nuclear fallout, how far away you have to be for you to not get evaporated instantly. Then they give you a tip about hiding under a table or something, as if that’s going to help you. All the advice like ‘don’t look directly at the blast’ or ‘stay indoors’ is all shit just to keep people calm, because in reality if a bomb drops there’s really nothing you can do about it. The setting is honestly the most horrifying part- the tension from before the war.
15. What two colors would you redesign vault suits to be?
I love the blue and yellow. I would like to change the vaults themselves to be more spacious and retro-futuristic and chrome, though. They already are, but I want to feel dwarfed in them- I want to see more of what we already see in the concept art.
25. I actually do want to hear about your fallout OCS! PLEASE give me a fun fact about each one you have!
AhhhHHH THANK YOU............. <333

Dodge (my courier) is using a fake name. He owes a lot of caps because of a few hasty bets he made, and rather than paying up, he ran halfway across the country and changed his name and appearance to try and dodge the debt. Dodge originally came from a pretty well-off family, but his reckless gambling and frivolous spending of their caps meant that they refused to help him when he got himself into trouble with debt, and he was forced to either pay up or go on the run.
Tumblr media
Yannis “Tidy” Bakker is my 20 year old vault dweller. They were picked by the inhabitants of Vault 13 to go get a new water chip- both because Tidy knew a lot about the technology of the vault, and because they were a massive pain in the ass. Although a few of the members of vault 13 liked Tidy, they were mostly unpopular because of their irritable personality, so some of the other vault dwellers were happy to see them leave the vault for a while. Tidy was less than happy about it- they’re terrified of the outside world, and are adjusting poorly.
Thank you so much for the ask!! <3

SCENE: East High - Game Day, Scholastic Decathlon Day, Callbacks Day
Friday afternoon arrived like a swarm of honey bees. The whole school was buzzing in excitement with a large helping of sweetness. The cliques continued to mingle as ‘good lucks’ were exchanged between drama geeks, science nerds, jocks, and pep band geeks alike. As the basketball team found the scholastic decathlon team, the sweetness became slightly more literal.
Roman led the way into the lab where the decathletes were prepping, with teammates shielding their gift.
“Virge, Logan, we have a surprise for you!” he called happily. The two science students turned from where they were donning their East High lab coats.
Patton emerged from where he’d been ducking behind the team to place his creation on the lab bench, glowing with pride. He’d made a lemon meringue pie decorated with a huge “𝚷” in the meringue. “In your honor - a Pi Pie!” he announced, grinning hugely.
Logan looked up to thank him but suddenly went quiet, smiling just as widely. Virgil noticed and smirked, then nudged his friend in the ribs. Coming back to himself, Logan said “Thank you, Patton. In fact, we have a present for you as well.”
He and Virgil walked over to a white board and both gestured with open arms, chorusing, “Ta da!”
Remy, Patton, and Roman all stared at the board, heads tilted. It was covered in incomprehensible (to them) equations that seemed to be somehow explaining how to make the perfect free throw, accounting for drag, vertical draft, air pressure within and without the ball, and speed of the player shooting.
“Oh, it’s… equations!” Patton said with forced cheer. “Thanks, you two!”
Logan and Virgil made eye contact and snickered. Snickers turned into laughs as they flipped the board over, revealing a colorful drawing of a wildcat dunking a basketball and “Go Wildcats!” in huge letters. The basketball players all sighed in relief with “Oh!”s of understanding, as Logan, Virgil, and their decathlon teammates pelted them with stuffed basketballs they’d hidden around the lab. The team tried to retaliate, but they were outmatched and laughing too hard to care.
Remy suddenly caught sight of the clock and nudged Roman. They waved goodbye to the decathletes and jogged as a team down to Ms. Darbus’ classroom, where Dee & Cee were chatting with other students who had callbacks for the singles roles that day.
Remy strolled in and leaned over a desk to wink at Dee. “Hey, Not-So-Evil Twins, we’ve got something to show you. Follow me!”
The twins were slightly off put by the nickname but mostly intrigued. The rest of the auditioners and Ms. Darbus crowded behind them in the door of the classroom to watch. The entire varsity squad of the basketball team were arranged in rows in their red-and-white warm up suits. Remy re-joined the formation, telling Dee, “From our team, to yours!”
One by one they opened their jackets to reveal t-shirts painted in huge letters. “G - O - D - R - A - M - A - C - L - U - B” they spelled out, Roman bringing up the rear with “Exclamation Point!”
Ms. Darbus smiled. “Seems we Wildcats are in for an interesting afternoon.”
Dee smirked, enjoying the offering. Beside him, Cee stared in confusion. “Godra? Godray?” he read aloud. Dee rolled his eyes and pulled his twin behind him, heading towards the auditorium. The basketball team split off towards the gym, and the decathletes made their way to the amphitheater. It was 2:45 pm, less than an hour until the multiple events started.
Logan nudged Virgil with a small grin. “It looks like the game is afoot.”
“I never thought I’d be able to say this without seeming like a huge hypocrite, but you are a enormous nerd,” Virgil smirked back. “But also, yes it is. And we’re as ready as we’ll ever be.”
SCENE: Locker Room
Roman was in the locker room suiting up, stretching out his pre-game jitters. He couldn’t wait to get out there with his team, but the amount riding on this game was nothing to sneeze at. He was in the middle of an arm stretch when his dad knocked on the wall, getting his attention.
“How you feeling, Ro?”
“Nervous,” the captain admitted.
“Me too. Wish I could suit up and play alongside you,” the coach said with a smile.
“Hey, you had your turn! Let the young guys show you how it’s done,” Roman shot back with a chuckle.
“You know what I want from you today?” Coach Bolton asked, sitting on a bench across from his son.
“The championship,” Roman said, feeling another butterfly burst out into his gut.
“Well, that'll come or it won't,” his father said. “What I want is for you to have fun. I know all about the pressure. And probably too much of it has come from me.” His face twisted a bit, betraying his guilt. But he made eye contact with the teen across from him as he continued. “What I really want is to see my son having the time of his life playing the game we both love. You give me that, and I will sleep with a smile on my face no matter how the score comes out.”
Roman could feel the butterflies melting away. His dad got it. He knew he’d been harsh, but ultimately, he just wanted his son to be successful and happy.
“Thanks, Coach - I mean, Dad.”
He stood up and hugged his dad firmly. Father and son both squeezed for a moment, then parted to finish getting ready for the game’s imminent start.
SCENE: All Over East High
Quiet chatter bounced around the amphitheater where the decathlon was soon to start. Virgil stood in the audience, chatting with his mom as she cooed over his lab coat.
“I’m so proud of you, mijo. I know you’re gonna do great today!”
“Mamá, you are not allowed to be embarrassing in any way.”
“When am I ever embarrassing?”
Virgil rolled his eyes as he held up a hand to list off his grievances. “The competition in Colorado, junior high graduation, the nationals in 2015, the science fair in seventh grade…”
Lisa laughed and hugged her son around the shoulders. “Okay, okay, I’ll be good. Can I at least meet your friends on the team?”
But Virgil was saved by the decathlon judge stepping up to the front of the room and gesturing for the teams to come meet one another. Virgil hugged his mom back quickly and hurried up to stand by Logan as they shook their opponents’ hands.
“Welcome to the tenth annual Scholastic Decathlon,” the judge announced. “Today we have the East High Wildcats versus the West High Knights.”
“Now presenting your Wildcats!” the announcer blared. Roman, Remy, Patton, and the rest of their team spilled into the gym in a wave of red and white, cheering and waving to the crowd. They grabbed basketballs and circled, warming up, dribbling, and shooting in turn.
“Welcome to the championship game between East High and West High!”
Remy dribbled past Roman, throwing him a grin. “You ready, man?”
“You know I am!”
“It’s go time!”
“It’s time!” sang Ms. Darbus, leading in the small crowd of actors to the auditorium. Joan sat at the piano, warming up and practicing. In the green room, Dee and Cee were performing their vocal warm ups, trills and scales and enunciation exercises.
“Ahhhh-ee-ee-ah-ee-ee-ahhhhhh,” Cee sang, traversing the entire octave up and down. Dee rolled sounds in his throat.
The sounds rolled around the dressing room before Dee held up a hand. Without looking, he fell backwards into Cee’s arms. Standing, he turned to his twin.
“I trust you.”
“Energy.”
Ms. Darbus checked the watch of the student assisting at her audition table. Standing, she took the stage.
“Casting a show is both a challenge and a responsibility. A joy and a burden,” she proclaimed, her voice booming through the mostly-empty auditorium. “I commend you and all other young artists to hold out for the moon, the sun, and the stars.” Her assistant took a picture of her and Joan as director and playwright. She smiled and asked, “Shall we soar together?”
Taking her seat in the audience, she called out “Diego and Cedric!”
As the music started, Cee appeared onstage first. His shirt was flowy and glittery, not quite a full Flamenco shirt, but definitely pushing in that direction. Silver threads interlaced with blue and sequins made him a bit difficult to look at directly as the stage lights caught him. Hitting his first pose, he sang out “¿Quieres bailar?”
Dee appeared on the opposite side of the stage in his own spotlight as he blew a kiss to the audience and sang in response to his twin “¡Mirame!” If Cee was sparkling, Dee was blinding. He was in full character as the musical’s heroine, Minnie. His dress hugged his slender chest and cascaded in tiers of waves in the skirt, all blue and silver and far too many sequins. Even his headset microphone matched, bedazzled in glittery blue rhinestones. He swirled to center stage in a flash of blue and dove into the first verse of the song, with Ms. Darbus grooving along from her spot in the audience.
The twins had a mix of choreography, switching from salsa to flamenco to rumba and sprinkling in more classic musical theater moves in between. In terms of pure talent, they’d never been in doubt.
“Yeah, we're gonna bop, bop, bop, bop to the top!” they sang in tandem, singing through plastered-on stage smiles as they made their way through complex steps and spins. Joan nervously checked the clock as they continued. Time was of the essence today, and the twins had once again adapted Joan’s song to be much faster than they’d pictured.
In the amphitheater, Virgil’s event had been drawn first, and he raced against a West High student to complete a full chain of reactions. He was a comfortable level of jittery as he wrote across his white board quickly. He reached the bottom as his opponent was completing only her fifth line, and quickly made his way to the game clock and stopped his timer.
The judge came forward and checked his word, before gesturing to the team table and announcing, “The point goes to East High!”
The team cheered and their supporters cheered with them, Lisa Montez the loudest of them all. Virgil rolled his eyes but smiled at her and gave a small wave. Logan clapped him on the shoulder, saying, “Excellently done, Virgil!”
Virgil glanced at the clock and nudged his friend. As the next event started, Logan brought out his laptop. “It seems it’s time that the Wildcats made an orderly exit from the gym, does it not?” he murmured as he worked. He sent off the code he’d created, then opened his other file. “You are quite sure this one will work to disrupt the room, Virge?” he asked quietly, typing away.
“Oh believe me, it works," Virgil whispered back, eyeing the Bunsen burner near the judge stand with trepidation.
“All right. Here goes,” Logan said, sending off the new code. The beaker on the burner started to heat up, causing the sac inside to burst. The room filled with the scent of rotten eggs as team members and audience members alike gagged and rushed to the exits.
“I assume it is working?” Logan whispered as he hurried Virgil to a side door closer to the auditorium.
“Uh, yeah, Lo, it smells terrible,” Virgil exclaimed.
“I would not know - I have anosmia. Why else did you think I agreed to this childish distraction?”
Virgil swore at him over his shoulder as he sprinted away, heading for the theater.
Joan was hiding behind their bowler hat as Dee & Cee’s routine neared its end. It’s not that the twins were bad, it was all just so extra. Every extra flourish, every break to throw in more unscripted Spanish just made the composer cringe more and more. They’d even worn a burgundy suit jacket and bow tie for the occasion, but now it was only serving as camouflage as they shrunk into the red audience seats.
“Bop, bop, bop, bop to the top, wipe away your inhibitions!” the twins sang, Dee always managing to be just a bit downstage and more center of his twin. His skirt flared as they neared the conclusion of their song. The lights raised on the back of the stage, revealing a ladder covered in gold tinsel. As Cee spun in front, Dee scaled the ladder into the spotlight.
“We'll keep stepping up and we just won't stop ‘till we reach the top!” the twins hit the final note together as Cee scaled the ladder, only to be push down a rung by his brother.
They held the final note, both breathing heavily from the exertion of the performance as the audience of drama students erupted into applause, Ms. Darbus enthusiastically clapping along.
“Do you see why we love the theater, people? Well done, Dee & Cee!” she cried happily. She picked up her clipboard and called out the next names on her list. “Roman Bolton and Virgil Montez. Roman? Virgil?” The auditorium was silent as Dee smirked triumphantly.
“They'll be here, Ms. Darbus,” Joan said, looking anxiously at their watch.
“The theater, as I have often pointed out, waits for no one. I'm sorry, Joan. Callbacks are over. Cast lists will be posted on Monday.”
Joan cursed under their breath and stormed off into the wings, scowling at the self-satisfied twins.
The first quarter was coming to a close and East and West High were still tied at only 8 points each. The team was moving well, their defense strong. There had been a slip early on, but they were holding West High still. Roman raced the length of the court, directing teammates and weaving between opponents. He watched the ball fly over his head into Patton’s arms when the scoreboard flickered. The voice of the announcer who’d been offering blow-by-blow commentary fizzled and faded. Suddenly, every light in the gym went off. Murmurs of confusion rolled around the crowd as the players stopped and stared at each other awkwardly. Remy nudged Roman with a grin.
“What are you waiting for, babes? Go!”
Roman smiled and ran out of the gym, dodging through the crowd and hurrying out.
He tore into the auditorium as Ms. Darbus picked up her purse and made to leave.
“Wait! Ms. Darbus, wait! We're ready, we can sing!” he cried, seeing Virgil running down another aisle.
“I called your names, twice,” Ms. Darbus said sharply.
“Ms. Darbus, please,” Virgil begged, running up the stairs to the stage.
“Rules are rules,” the director insisted. But as she spoke, crowds of students started filing into the auditorium from both the basketball game and the decathlon. Most wore East High red and white, but the West High teams were present too, all looking confused.
Dee leaned over, staring starry-eyed at the huge audience, and said, “We'll be happy to do it again for our fellow students, Ms. Darbus!”
“I don't know what's going on here,” the teacher began, uncertain, “but in any event, it's far too late and we have not got a pianist.”
“Aw well, that’s show biz,” Cee said sympathetically.
“We’ll sing without a piano!” Roman insisted, but was interrupted by a blur of burgundy and black.
“No you goddamn won’t!” Joan stepped in front of the Evans twins to speak directly to the director. “Pianist here, Ms. Darbus.”
“You really don’t want to do that,” Dee said dangerously, stepping into Joan’s space.
They stared back steadily as they replied, “Oh yeah I fucking do.” Dee’s eyes widened in shock as the composer ran to their piano, calling “Ready on stage!” behind them.
Ms. Darbus eyed the interaction. “Now that’s show biz,” she said with admiration.
A stage hand gave Roman two handheld microphones as the twins stormed off into the wings.
He walked over and handed Virgil one where he was still standing in the middle of the stage, staring at the huge number of people  that was only continuing to grow as the last of the crowds filtered in. The stage lights came back on, illuminating his white lab coat and Roman’s white tracksuit as the basketball player signaled to Joan to start.
The familiar strains of the song began, but Virgil remained frozen, eyes wide as he stared straight ahead.
Roman gestured for Joan to pause and walked over to the shorter man, partially shielding from the crowd as he murmured, “You okay?”
“I can’t do it, Ro, not with all those people staring at me.” He started to turn away as Roman caught his free hand.
“Hey, hey, look at me, look at me, right at me. Right at me, okay? No one else is here. It's just like the first time we sang together. Like kindergarten,” he said with a reassuring smile. “I’m here. You can do this, I know you can.”
Without releasing his hand, Roman gestured to Joan to start again.
“We're soaring, flying. There's not a star in heaven that we can't reach,” he sang, staring directly into Virgil’s eyes.
Without breaking eye contact, Virgil lifted his mic and continued, “If we're trying, so we're breaking free.”
Roman spotted the tiniest hint of a smile. Virgil would be okay. He spun out to the audience. They needed to hear this too, see them up onstage and telling them what could be possible.
“You know the world can see us in a way that different than who we are.” He saw movement at the door and realized the last person from the gym had entered. It was his dad, leaning on the wall and listening hard.
Virgil let his hand drop, stepping away, “Creating space between us, 'til we're separate hearts.”
Joan grinned from their spot at the piano as the two built up to the chorus, signaling the rest of the band in the wings to join in.
Virgil suddenly  realized that Roman was right. It was just like New Year’s Eve all over again, all familiar jitters and excitement and this beautiful man singing to him like no one else could hear. Roman’s red hair glowed in the stage lights, a sun rising in the dark of the auditorium. Dimly he was aware that the crowd was starting to clap along, but what did that matter when a freckled smile was harmonizing and dancing around him?
They hadn’t practiced any choreography, but danced together and apart, spinning around their lone set piece, a crescent moon they’d painted together. They danced over to Joan’s piano as the composer danced with them, still playing and bopping their head along to the beat.
“More than you, more than me,” Roman sang, spinning Virgil out onto the stage.
“Not a want, but a need,” he sang back, grinning like mad as Roman followed him.
"Both of us, breaking free!” they chorused, hands finding each other and interlocking like an old habit, newly formed. The basketball team whooped and cheered, Remy leading the crowd in a standing ovation. Logan found he couldn’t be self-conscious, watching his friend glow with happiness, and stood too, earning himself a huge grin from Patton, just a row behind him.
Virgil briefly caught sight of his mom in the crowd, her hands covering her face as he swayed to the music. Was she crying? Her hands moved to clap along, revealing tears and a huge smile as she cheered loud and long for her son.
Joan and their piano led the song to its conclusion, slowing down to the final note as Roman and Virgil sang to each other.
“You know the world can see us in a way that’s different than who we are…”
They hit the final notes in harmony. Roman was staring unashamedly into Virgil’s dark eyes, at his flushed cheeks, at the way the stage lights caught the purple highlights in his hair. Grabbing the shorter man’s hand, he felt the same urge as that moment on New Year’s, when the distance between himself and Virgil seemed to shrink and all he wanted was to breach that final, infinitesimal separation between their lips. He leaned in, and despite the loud applause of the crowd, they didn’t break away.
Virgil was positive that this was death. He’d freaked out so hard about singing that he’d died and gone into a weird afterlife dream where the most beautiful man serenaded him and then kissed him in front of the entire school. Because it was only in heaven and his daydreams that this could actually be happening, right? His lips were so soft, and it felt like sunshine spilling into his soul as he kissed back, holding his waist with the hand not occupied by a mic.
The only thing that could cut through the dull roar of the crowd’s applause was a familiar, drawling voice shouting “FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, FINALLY!”
They broke apart, blushes spreading on both of their cheeks.
“Ro, I have no idea how we get off this stage now,” Virgil whispered.
“Don’t worry, Panic! at the Musical,” Roman said, still blushing. “I think I know how.”
He stepped forward, closer to the stage, and spoke into the mic. “Thank you! To my teammates, to the drama club, to the science nerds, skaters, band geeks, and also both my parents, my name is Roman Bolton, and I am apparently gay. And I can’t ask my fabulous duet partner, Virgil Montez, to be my boyfriend with you all watching. To our West High guests, can’t wait to see y’all in the rematch, and to my East High friends, go Wildcats!” With that, he grabbed Vigil’s hand and dragged them both offstage, laughing like mad and still blushing furiously.
SCENE: Gymnasium
Roman was more than a little certain that he had yet to touch the ground since callbacks, floating on the countless wonderful emotions and memories that were the reality of dating Virgil. Somehow he had been able to drag himself away from walking down the street and the hallways introducing him to anyone and everyone who would listen as “my BOYFRIEND!” But at least there was the perk that he was constantly walking on air.
Or, in the case of the East-West rematch, flying down the court.
“...and West High pushin' the ball. Fast break. Looking for an open man. Oh, but it's stolen by number 14, Bolton, heading back the other way!” The commentator channeled the crowd’s energy as she called the action on the court. “East High has possession, one point down and only 15 seconds left on the clock! He’s looking for an open man. Fake! Swing to the outside, ball on the perimeter.”
Roman panted as he tossed the ball to Remy, getting closer to the net. He was acutely aware of how close they were to winning this thing, if they could just get an opening… there it was!
A high toss from Remy that only Patton could possibly reach, then a quick throw to Roman. He leapt, legs, core, and arms all in perfect harmony to get just the right angle and…
“And it's good! A 12-foot jump shot as time expires for the victory! East High has won the championship!”
Roman felt a thwump as Patton collided with him in a huge hug, followed shortly by the thwumpthwumpthwump of the rest of the team following suit. They all jumped up and down as one, cheering and celebrating without abandon. The cheerleaders and mascot were the first to get from the sidelines to the court to celebrate with them. But soon after, Coach Bolton, close to tears with happiness, came over to the team huddle of bodies to hand them the enormous championship trophy.
“Coming through! Proud coach coming through!” he yelled, and handed off the gleaming brass basketball on its heavy wooden base to Remy and Roman. Gripping his son’s shoulder, he managed to be heard as he told him, “I’m so proud of you Roman. For everything!”
Remy was the first to start the chant as the team swept Roman off his feet, hoisting him on their shoulders. “What team?”
“Wildcats!”
“What team?”
“Wildcats!”
“Wildcats!”
“Get’cha head in the game!”
They finally released him as he passed the trophy on to the other teammates and grabbed his dad for a hug as the spectators flooded from the bleachers to the court. Even Ms. Darbus had caught the spirit, cheering “Bravo!” at Roman as she passed.
Coach Bolton was even happy enough to cheer back, “Brava!” at her. The assistant coach pulled Roman’s dad away as he paused for a moment, catching his breath for the first time since the game had begun. Arms suddenly wrapped around him as he turned to see Virgil, hair re-dyed a festive Wildcat red just for the occasion.
“Congratulations, you dork,” he said, grinning hugely. “You’re officially the school’s Prince Charming again.”
“I would never make you share this brilliance with the entire school,” Roman responded. “Did you get the scores back from the decathlon?”
“We won, too,” Virgil said, but was interrupted by Roman hugging him with both arms and swinging him around in the air.
“I bring the looks and the brawn, you bring the smarts and also the looks, we are clearly the best couple ever and I am so happy you’re my boyfriend.”
“Goddammit Ro, you’re gonna make me blush and then I’ll clash with my hair,” Virgil admonished as he wriggled out of Roman’s hold.
“Guess I’m forced to kiss the blush off your cheeks,” Roman proclaimed. Just as he leaned in, Remy pushed in between them with a basketball in his hands.
“Hey Ro! Team voted you the game ball! Congrats!” Remy said airily, barely pretending to not notice what he’d interrupted.
“Thanks, Rem. Really appreciate it.”
“Anytime,” his friend said with a bow, strolling off.
Virgil hugged Roman again, then suddenly hit his arm excitedly. Staring in the direction of his pointing arm, Roman saw Patton walking up to Logan and grinned.
“So, you’re coming with me to the after-party, right?” Patton asked, open face smiling.
Logan started. “Sorry, that was directed to me?”
“Of course, Lo! So will you?”
“I- uh. I was planning to attend because Virgil had asked me to…”
“Oh, sorry, I wasn’t being clear!” Patton realized. “Words are funny like that, aren’t they? I meant as a date!”
Logan stared for a moment, then two, then three without moving anything besides his eyes blinking.
Virgil nudged Roman and muttered in his ear, “Logan.exe has crashed.”
“Oh, also, these are for you! Fresh today!” Patton added, handing the shorter man a bag of cookies. “I heard you like jam thumbprints!”
Logan accepted the bag and managed to nod his agreement, to both the cookies and the date, as a huge smile spread across his face.
Virgil and Roman both punched the air in victory as Cee and Dee passed by, both in full East High spirit colors.
“Congrats again on your roles,” Dee said. “I guess we’re going to be the understudies in case you can't make one of the shows, so... break a leg.”
Roman stared in slight fear until Dee laughed and added, “It’s drama geek for ‘good luck’.”
Dee passed them and watched Cee dance off with a cheerleader, bopping to the music the pep band had struck up. He shouldered his way through pairs of students before coming up on Remy, leaning against the bleachers as he watched Roman and Virgil steal another kiss in the middle of the crowd.
Dee came up to lean next to him. “Can’t believe I crushed on Roman all these years only for him to actually be gay but still allo. I’m so disappointed.”
“That’s what everyone says when they what I’m ace. Like, I get it, I’m frustratingly hot and sassy as hell, why are you so obsessed with me?” Remy drawled back. He’d found his shades somewhere by the team bench and slipped them back on.
“You’re ace too?” Dee asked incredulously
“Of course I am. Hey, Dee, want to come to the afterparty and make fun of these gay disasters more?”
“Wait, really? You aren’t like ‘Dee’s a bitch and I hate him’?”
“Not at all, hun. You’re a bitch and I like it so much.”
“Well in that case, lead the way, Mr. Danforth.”
Somewhere in the crowd, Roman managed to find Joan. “Hey composer! Here’s your game ball. You deserve it, playmaker!”
Joan took the basketball, smiling. “Congrats again, you two!” they said with a wicked grin. “Can’t wait til rehearsals start and you’re at my mercy for eight weeks straight.”
Virgil laughed and pushed them. “Hey, this is all your fault. You can’t be mean to us now!”
“Oh so you’re saying you’d rather that you hadn’t met your boyfriend through the power of my beautiful song and lyrics?”
“Ya got me there,” Virgil shrugged. “But for real, thank you, Joan. We couldn’t have done any of this without you.”
Roman nodded emphatically. “And the rest of you, too,” he said, turning to his and Virgil’s teams. “All of this was a group effort. We made each other strong.”
“None of us are exactly alike,” Patton added. He and Logan were very subtly holding hands. “But the ways we’re different are all good and unique. And I’m grateful we arrived at where we are now.”
“Now let’s go celebrate!” Roman said.
“All of us?” a decathlon teammate asked.
“Absolutely!” Roman called. “This is a celebration for all of our victories. We’re all Wildcats, no matter what. And if there’s one thing this school has learned, it’s that we’re all in this together.”
a/n: Thank you for sticking with me through this weird little adventure, especially the cheesy-as-hell ending. Gotta get to those DCOM roots and end in the hamfisted moral.
In conclusion: I love my collection of disaster gays of various heights. I hope you've enjoyed them too <3

College AU! Bang Chan
ahhhhhh!!!!!! we made it to 100 followers today and we decided to release a special series in order to celebrate! starting with chan, we’ll be releasing a college au or two a day all to do with stray kids! i hope you enjoy and thank you all once again, bc without you we wouldn’t be doing this
- Major: Music Production (are we even surprised lmao)
-Minor: Home Economics
-Clubs: ……. He has no time to go to clubs, though he does occasionally help out Johnny at the radio station by sending him songs to play or, even once, he hosted alongside him, he also occasionally goes to seungmin’s baseball club to help him train bc he’s the sports dad lbr
- He’s a 3rd year student which means…… he’s currently dying
-Minho thought he had it bad being a education major but chan,,,,, his bloodstream was coffee, he became one with the coffee lmao
-Chan hyung? When did you last sleep?
-Sleep? What is this sleep you speak of?
-Speaking of hyung, chan rent out his apartment bc he’s a broke student and he basically ended adopting a fellow australian in the form of Felix who was a 1st year,,,, which meant chan practically adopted him and his merry bunch of friends
-Not that he minded,,,, but his wallet did lmao bc paying for 9 people at bbq during peak time,,,,, chan practically cried and shut himself in the recording studio and wrote a song about how the ones you worry about aren’t your enemies but the ones who smile like the sun then rob u blind at dinner
-(lmao no chan loved his kids really and one time felix did offer to pay he practically wrestled him,,,,, chan won)
-So his major
-Is mostly practical with a tiny bit of theory throw in once a week to learn about different production techniques which chan found HELLA interesting bc he loved to learn new things about music
-Music was his passion and he had no doubt about going to uni to do music as a career because there was nothing else he ever wanted to do
-So Chan gets sit in a recording studio most days and gets Woojin to sing on some of his tracks whilst bribing two of Felix’s friends who he met at an underground rap scene to record as well
-The first time he met those two friends, Changbin and Jisung, he felt an instant connection esp bc he found out that Changbin was the kid his production teacher was enthusing about for weeks lmao
-And whilst Jisung didn’t major in music production, his song writing and rap flow were so unique that chan was determined to recruit him
-Luckily,,,, they both agreed bc they already knew who chan was from Felix and he has campus reputation for being the best music student on campus (not that chan really knew about this,, he was just very confused whenever he saw gangs on giggling people around him that he almost always looked around to see if Taeyong or Daniel were nearby lmao sweetie no it’s you)
-Him, Changbin and Jisung formed a trio and they all wrote songs and performed in underground uni clubs and rumour says that whenever 3racha performed there was a waiting list for about 3 months
-The three of them were extremely popular but they rarely performed as Chan was extremely busy with 3rd year work oh no
-But whenever they did
-Oh boy
-Was it extremely popular
-Throngs of people,,,, and a lot of phones taking recordings and posting them on the college snapchat or on Instagram
-They became a famous group though not many of them knew the boys by their real names bc they had stage names uwu
-Only those who were very into the music scene figured out that CB97 was the music production departments’ prize angel student and when they tried to tell other people on the campus,,,, they never believed it bc how could Bang Chan, a sweetheart, rap like that about such deep issues when he performed at college festivals and showcases he played softer mellower songs
-Your friends were very much into Bang Chan and 3racha and they were always found amongst the gaggles of people who saw him round campus or attended 3racha concerts religiously
-Not that you could ever be seen amongst the gaggles
-You had quite the reputation on campus,,, the kids had nicknamed you stone y/n stemmed from the fact you were from a pretty well known family, and walked around campus with a completely blank face and only had a few friends that could crack your exterior
-People generally avoided you bc they weren’t sure whether they could even talk to you without being glared at or ur family would come for them
-It was a bit sad really,,, bc u weren’t that scary lmao
-You just wanted to pass college with good grades and you never went out on nights out or anything, you weren’t against it you just didn’t find it interesting,,,, much the opposite to your friends who LOVED going out, you let them get on with it and they respected your decision as well
-You weren’t even sure if Bang Chan was a real person or just a campus urban myth bc u had never seen him before
-No matter how many times ur friends tried to drag you to the local underground rap scene bc “OMG Y/N 3RACHA IS PERFORMING TONIGHT AND YOU NEED TO SEE THEM OMG!!p”£!” (this is one thing they always tried to drag you to bc they knew you would love the music)
-You never went because you would much rather be studying
-I mean, you were a law student and had many case studies and mock trials to study and prepare for so you didn’t have much free time
-And whilst you loved music, you had your life sorted out and you intended to graduate college this year with a 1st class honours so you could get your dream internship with a famous law firm
-Please Y/N you need to come out and see 3racha with us because their music is right up your alley musically
-I… really can’t I have a mock trial coming up next week and I need to do well
-Promise me one day you’ll come with us
-Pinky promise, I’ll try and come to the next one if I can
-I’ll be holding you to that I will rip your law textbooks out of your hand and throw them out of the window
-SANA WHAT THE HELL
-A n y w a y
-You could be found most days at the library with a stack of law books and a highlighter in your hand, whilst you sipped coffee
-Little did you know that would be the day you finally encountered the urban myth that was Bang Chan
-At first you didn’t realise that he was stood opposite your table
-“Hi-uh there’s no other seats in the library apart from here….. is it okay if I sit on your table?”
-You startle out of the passage explain corporate law and look up to see Chan
-His silver hair was all curled and quite frankly a mess, his eyes wide and alert with extremely dark bags under them and his hand curled protectively around a large coffee
-You just nod, moving your materials closer to you so he could have some more space
-You heard him sigh in relief and slump in the chair opposite you, taking his laptop out of his bag alongside a notebook covered in stickers with bits of paper sticking out of it
- You rolled your eyes, thinking he was one of those students who procrastinated until the last week before his exam, and put your head back to your textbook, fully intending to ignore the boy opposite you
-You were surprised, however, to find that he was being quiet and just working on,,,,, whatever he was doing
-Most people who came to sat at your table were normally very distracting (constantly talking loudly on the phone, eating, sighing heavily and twirling pens u know the ones)
-It was quite a pleasant change from what you were used to and you settled down to finish your textbook chapter
-It was about an hour later, when you were taking a break, when Chan asked you a question
-He coughed and you looked up at him from your phone
-You noticed that he had a pair of very professional looking headphones around his neck and you couldn’t help but notice just how his eyes were sparkling
-“I’m going to grab a coffee and I was just wondering if you wanted one?”
-Oh what’s this
-Someone offering to buy you coffee,,, this has literally never happened before??
-“Oh um,,, only if you want to I mean it’d be really nice if you did law is killing me you know hahah but you really dont have to” you spluttered out
-“It’s no problem! You probably need a pick me up because I know I do, just keep an eye on my stuff yeah?” he replied before walking off to what you presumed the campus coffee shop
-You blinked a few times before trying to get back to your work, deeming your break to be over
-However you were kinda still a bit shocked that the cute boy opposite you offered to get you a coffee????
-Deciding that work wasn’t going to happen, you glanced over at the work he had left out
-You saw that the bits of paper you noticed earlier were scattered around his laptop and from what you could see, they appeared to have music notes and lyrics scattered across them
-A music major?? But why would a music major need a laptop??
-You thought about reading one of the lyrics sheets before realising that come on Y/N that’s someone’s work they probably don’t want a complete stranger to look at them
-You were still staring when the cute boy came back
-“One coffee for you, I wasn’t sure what you liked so I got you an Americano?? I hope that’s okay?” he told you, handing you a cup
-“Americano is fine with me, it’s what I had earlier in fact! Thanks uh—”
-“Chan, my name is Chan. Or Chris. More often Chan to be honest. You’re welcome, but it’s only fair I get your name as well”
-“Y/N. Only Y/N.” you smiled at him which he returned
-And that’s when you saw his dimples
-They were extremely deep and, quite frankly, adorable
-Your eyes trailed Chan as he sat in his seat, slipping the headphones back over his ears and picking up a piece of paper
-You snapped your eyes back to your textbook, trying to focus back on corporate law whilst nursing your coffee with both hands
-It was a torturous 2 hours before you decided that you couldn’t take it anymore
-Chan kept distracting you
-Not that he meant to, you just found him to be extremely distracting
-y/n STOP YOU ONLY MET HIM TODAY
-As you began to pack your highlighters away you saw Chan slip off his headphones and unplug them from his laptop
-Great
-“Are you heading out?”
-“Oh uh yeah”
-“Cool same, wanna walk out together?”
-“Sure!” you replied a little too enthusiastically, internally groaning at yourself
-Chan, unbeknownst to you, found this extremely adorable and as he was packing his stuff away he snuck glances at you and saw the tips of your ears tinted red
-He smiled to himself as he swung his backpack over his shoulders, waiting for you pack your stuff away
-You,,,, were struggling
-Not only was Chan being extremely nice to you, you happened to have brought a lot of textbooks with you which seemed like a good idea when you came
-But walking back to ur dorm,,,,, seemed extremely bad
-You were balancing the last book onto the pile you were carrying when Chan popped up over the top of them
-And,,, without asking just grabbed a few of them and carried them for you, flashing his smile at you
-y/n ? y/n? oh my god they’re dead
-“You ready?”
-And that kids, is how one of the campus heartthrobs carried stone Y/N’s law books from the library to your dorm
-Safe to say the library, the campus, the world had stopped breathing as they saw the two of you walk across campus to the dorms chatting quite animatedly
-It turned out you and chan had very similar taste in music and he was just telling you about the project he was working on at the moment as you walked up the stairs to your dorm (the lift was broken,,, again)
-He offered to carry the rest of your books as you struggled to find your keys and balance the books as well
-You shook your head, finally grabbing your keys and unlocking the door
-Your roommate was unfortunately in and screamed your name when it DIED in their throat as their eyes lay upon Chan stepping in and following you to your desk
-“You can just put them there thanks so much Chan, you really didn’t have to”
-“I know” he smiled “you needed help though so I decided to”
-“I appreciate a lot” you smiled back (ur roommate was watching this with WIDE EYES and pulled out their phone to spam the gc bc hello chan was in your room and talking with you, also how could anyone think you were stone like bc you were blushing like MAD and ur roomie was cackling)
-“Anyway, I’ll see you round Y/N?”
-“Sure thing, I’m normally at the library in that same spot just hit me up there”
-Chan went to go leave before turning round and you looked at him questioningly
-“Can I get your number?”
-UR ROOMIE NEARLY SCREAMED AT THAT POINT AND SO DID YOU
-“Oh uh sure…”
-On the inside you were dying hello y/n ??? you there???
-Chan smiled and pulled his phone out, giving it to you
-You plugged ur number into his phone and u were blushing crazily rn
-Chan grinned at this, his dimples showing themselves and ur roomie was PLOTTING, typing furiously on their phone
-When you handed his phone back to him, Chan smiled at you before waving goodbye and leaving
-When the door shut ur roomie THREW THEMSELVES AT YOU THROWING QUESTIONS ABOUT WHY HAD BANG CHAN WALKED YOU HOME WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK Y/N U BETTER HAVE ANSWERS
-Ur roomie kept bombarding you with questions but you could only focus on one thing
-Bang Chan?? The Chan you met and had walked you across campus was the Bang Chan???
-“That was Bang Chan?!”
-Your roomie sighed heavily and was like YES U IDIOT THAT WAS THE BANG CHAN
-You flopped onto your bed wondering how this was your life when ur phone pinged with a message
-You groaned, taking it out eyes widening when u saw it was a message from Chan
-You opened it up, quickly saving the number to your phone before reading the message
-[from: XXX-XXXXX-XX] hi it’s me Chan! I remembered the song I was trying to tell you about earlier! Hope you enjoy
-Your roomie was enjoying this, watching u suffer and tapping a reply to Chan
-Giggling, they updated the group chat with a plan to get you and Chan together
-Luckily,,, one of ur other friends was friends with Felix as they were on the same course so they messaged him
-Felix replied almost instantly,,,, for Chan had just gotten back and was gushing about someone he met at the library
-All of a sudden,,, the mission to get the two of you together was formed in a separate
-You were completely oblivious to this as you were too busy listening to the song and sending ur thoughts to
-From that day on you and Chan texted quite frequently, normally sending each other music
-Occasionally he would send you some of the stuff he was working on, asking for ur advice
-Which you gave happily
-The two of you even arranged to meet up and study, taking it turns to buy coffee for each other
-It was all quite,,, sweet really
-However,,,, the two of you were toeing the line between friends and something more yet neither of you made the first step
-Which frustrated ur friends, chan’s friends, the entire campus at this point
-Just as the group chat was screaming to come up with a better plan
-Chan had invited you to a 3racha gig at the local underground bar
-You were a bit hesitant to reply when u saw that message,, u were never seen at these kinds of things and u didn’t want the campus to talk even more
-(ur friends were dying bc they were like Y/N PLEASE NO ONE IS GOING TO CARE THEY ALREADY KNOW,,,, yet but what if-  NO IFS)
-Chan sensed your hesitation over text and told you that you really didn’t have to go if you didn’t want to, he wasn’t pressuring you to go but the invite was there if you wanted it
-You replied with tons of smiley faces and hearts in apology
-He giggled in his apartment, but Felix noted the sad look in his eyes
-TIME FOR FELIX TO SPAM THE GC TO GET UR FRIENDS TO CONVINCE YOU TO GO
-Unfortunately,, you were quite stubborn about not going
-They eventually gave up after 2 weeks, knowing they shouldn’t push you anymore
-It wasn’t until your friends came round to ur dorm the night of the gig to get ready together
-You were sat on ur bed,,, mulling it over in your head
-What if I really did go?? Would anyone care?
-Bc honestly,,,, you wanted to go
-You wanted to see Chan perform in his element bc of the stuff he sent you,,,, you really enjoyed it
-You breathed in heavily
-“Guys,,,, I’ll go”
-“REALLY” “BABE IT’S TIME TO GET YOU LOOKING SMOKING FOR UR FIRST OFFICIAL NIGHT OUT” “WOOOO Y/N”
-You laughed, letting your friends pull u to ur feet and throwing clothes at you
-You were laughing all the way to the underground bar, decked in ur hottest clothes (according to sana) and looking extremely attractive (agreed by all of ur friends)
-When u entered the bar, you got slightly nervous bc u hadn’t told chan you were going to be there and u didn’t know how to act at this kind of place
-Sana grabbed your hand, leading you to a spot near the exit but still having a clear shot of the performance area
-Yugyeom, Mina, Bambam and Momo came back to your table, bearing hands full with different drinks
-You were a little overwhelmed, settling for the coke Mark passed to you wordlessly (he knew you didn’t like to drink that much, especially not in public)
-The six of you were chatting about your days, just happy to hang out all together when the lights went down and a few girls in the back screamed
-A heavy beat kicked in and a spotlight appeared on a figure you couldn’t recognise
-When all of a sudden, they began rapping and your jaw dropped as you realised it was Chan
-His voice was smooth and pleasant to listen to as he switched from rap to vocal, your jaw dropping as you couldn’t believe it was the same Chan who buys you coffee
-You were shocked to say the least
-Two more rappers joined in during the performance but quite honestly, your eyes kept being drawn to chan
-It wasn’t until, a few songs later, that one of the other rappers approached your table during Chan’s rap part
-“Hey hyung, what about them?”
-Chan turned and his eyes widened in recognition
-“Them? They’re really pretty” sending a wink at you before continuing his rap
-Safe to say your friends, and Chan’s friends (who were near you) ALL cheered and wolf-whistled whilst you had your head buried in your heads, blush overtaking your entire face
-Chan spared another look at you and saw how cute you looked all embarrassed UWU
-The rest of the gig continued and you still weren’t over how Chan had called you really pretty
-Sana kept glancing between you and Chan, noticing that the two of you kept looking at each other and she was like,,,, it’s time
-The gig had finished and people began to filter out
- But not you and the conspiracy group
-They convinced you to stay and Chan,,,, was overjoyed
-He approached you and all of a sudden ur friends had disappeared,,,, wow thnx guys xxx
-He slid into the chair opposite you and placed his hands on the table nervously
-“Um,, I didn’t think you’d actually be here wow”
-“I didn’t think I would be here either,,, but then I realised, I really wanted to see you”
-“Me?”
-“Yes,,,, I uh,,, really like you Chan”
-QUEUE CHAN BLUSHING BC WOW EVEN THOUGH HE CALLED YOU PRETTY EARLIER HE WANTED TO BE THE ONE TO ASK YOU OUT TONIGHT BUT HE COULDN’T HELP BUT LOVE HOW STRAIGHTFORWARD YOU WERE
-“Wow…… me too Y/N. I’ve been trying for weeks to try and ask you out you know” he laughed awkwardly
-You couldn’t help but giggle, reaching for his hands
-Chan smiled, intertwining his fingers with yours marvelling at how well they fit together
-“Say,, fancy ditching this lot and grab a movie at my place” you asked wickedly, sending a glance to your friends who were all watching with baited breath
-“Sounds good to me” he grinned back, standing up and pulling you at the bar to the sound of your friends wolf-whistling and Jisung groaning that he was going to have pack all the equipment whilst Changbin laughed at him
-DATING CHAN:
-It’s a dream
-He’s an actual perfect boyfriend and treated you with respect and you hadn’t been happier
-So sure, the campus body was extremely shocked to see the two of you walk around holding hands and occasionally kissing each other on the cheek
-But they LOVED it
-Stone Y/N suddenly lost their nickname,, becoming more known as Chan’s partner but still maintaining your cool demeanour bc hello,,,, u studied law and u knew things
-ANYWAY
-Chan would try and take you on dates quite often, ranging from a simple picnic on campus to a fancy dinner at a high end restaurant you were sure he couldn’t afford but still paid for it all anyway, despite ur constant protests that you could pay
-One day you planned a surprise date and bought him a new microphone (after much discussion with changbin about which one to go) he tried to refuse it, but you told him you threw the receipt away because you wanted to treat him
-(Chan refuses to admit that he cried when he went back to the dorm, but felix has photographic evidence to prove otherwise)
-He made up for it by writing a song for you and performing it at a 3racha gig which made you cry, the fangirls cry,,,, some even say that Changbin cried but he would dispute this reverently
-That’s one thing you do more often,, you go out a lot more and you try to go to every 3racha gig in order to support ur mans
-You were becoming a lot more open,, which one drunken night Sana was sobbing in your arms about how proud she was of you coming out of your shell because of Chan and if he ever broke your heart she would break something of his
-You had laughed at this,,, with wet eyes bc u were slightly emotional bc of what she said, reassuring you that if chan was going to break your heart you were very capable of breaking that very same part
-Dating Chan meant that you also became the official parent alongside Chan of all of his kids
-Felix took an immediate liking to you, sticking to you like glue whenever you all hung out together
-It was very cute tbh,,,, until they learnt that you were the infamous stone Y/N and ur family was extremely rich
-Chan snapped at the boys when they asked if you could treat them to expense bbq one day and they were all extremely sheepish after that
-You didn’t mind,,, u didn’t mind treating the boys bc you knew they wouldn’t try and manipulate you for it (hint: like some of ur first “friends” when u first got to college and Sana dragged Momo over to scare them away from you as they saw you constantly paying for everything… rumour has it that they still run away if they see momo at any place)
-You had to drag Chan away from them to calm him down
-He just didn’t want anyone to take advantage of you again,,,, he had nearly cried when you had told him why you were so closed off and didn’t have many friends
-You stroked the back of his hands and pressed a soft kiss to his lips, reassuring him that it was fine
-When you went back to the boys,, they all apologised to you and you ruffled Felix’s hair lovingly
-Chan’s hand tightened around yours, and you shot him a look before announcing that it was your turn to pay for the family meal this time and dragged them all to a bbq place
-You and Chan were feeding each other at the table, much to the disgust of Seungmin and Hyunjin
-You just stuck your tongue out at them, feeding Chan another bit of chicken
-When you went to go pay the bill, all 9 of them tried to pay instead but you swatted them off brandishing your card at them before handing it to the cashier
- Who was very confused, accepting the card with a very concerned look on their face
-Like how was 1 person going to pay for a table of 10 when they had nearly eaten their entire kitchen
-Their face was a little shocked when the transaction went through and they handed the card back to you whilst the rest of the boys looked on awed
-“Now boys,,, that’s your quota for the month” you beamed at them, strutting out of the restaurant
-You just became their favourite person, but also most feared person in the world
-You also spent a lot of time with Chan in the recording studio,, especially coming up towards the end of 3rd year as Chan was super stressed about his final composition piece
-You were stressed as well bc you had an important trial coming up right at the end,,, and whilst you were stressed, you knew you were going to be okay bc you had studied all your materials for a while
-Seeing Chan screw up his 100th piece of paper one night whilst you were studying at his dorm, you put your notes down and went over to his desk where he was sat with his head in his hands
-You soothingly rubbed his shoulders, whispering sweet nothings into his ears
-Without warning, he spun around in his chair and you realised his eyes were glazed over hazily
-His hands rested on your waist, and you instinctively melted into his touch
-Your lips met and before you knew it, he had picked you up and placed you onto his bed, lips grazing over your jawline and neck in butterfly kisses occasionally stopping to leave a mark on your neck
-Well,,, one thing led to another and u were just glad Felix hadn’t come back as you snuggled up to Chan, hand resting over his chest
-Felix came back the next day, throwing Chan’s t-shirt at him before walking straight back out
-You were very confused, burying deeper into the sheets as Chan pulled you closer pressing a kiss to your forehead
-You and Chan were honestly the campus sweethearts, you weren’t always together but you bet your chemistry notes that he would leave a sticky note on your file before you went to a mock trial
- Chan found you extremely attractive in your suit and you were nearly late the morning of your last mock trial lmao
-You were just very supportive of each other as well as your friends
-Like you never failed to turn up to Felix’s musicals together, even after you had both graduated
-Chan accompanied you to Sana, Mina and Momo’s dance recitals and you went to all of Seungmin’s baseball games even if he wasn’t playing
-You became known as the campus parents tbh
-Just a very wholesome couple
-When the two of you, along with Woojin, and a few others graduated that year, you bet that your friendship group all turned up and had massive banners with your names on, hollering when you got called up
-They also threw a massive party at the pub that 3racha frequented (the owner let them rent it out for free) and you all ended up crying by the end of the day, you comforting a sobbing Jeongin whilst Chan was hugging Felix
-Oh,,, after you graduated Chan took you to Australia to meet his family for the summer before you started your internship and he took aesthetic photos of you all the time
-You literally had to wrestle his phone out of his hand before you got spammed by the 8 boys who kept getting these photos of you sent in their gc
-Ugh you’re just two extremely loving parents of about 17 kids and you wouldn’t change it for the world, you thought that last day altogether at bar
ahhh wow thank you again for 100 followers and next up on the college aus is.... *drum rolls* WOOJIN

Chapter 19
-
After I patch myself up and unlocked the door and when back into the living room to see the table back to normal and everything seem normal, my parents were getting themselves some coffee. Everyone was having a conversation but Jake who was texting on his phone.
"Andrew and his sister is coming over." He said as he slid it into his pocket. "You might want to make your room more presentable and get ready to tell them a story."
Wait, what? My blank stare gave him enough that I didnt know what he was doing.
"I planned this yesterday because they can't come with us to the Con. I wanted to surprise you but I forgot about your friends." He said with a smirk. Lier! He left for his room quickly so I wouldn't have the chance to question him or injure him or myself.
"That boy will be the end of me." Said Monika.
"He's probably being a jerk because he knows you guys don't want to connect faces with him." I said, Natsuki began to yell at me for the comment.
"That's probably because they want to connect faces with you." Said Mom.
°°°
"What the heck?! Mom!"
-
After being embarrassed by my mom, I went into my room to clean it up. I've already cleaned it up when I came in here earlier so it was just to hide my junk on the floor. Sayori and Monika was with me because Mom wanted Yuri and Natsuki's help with cleaning.
Sayori and Monika were supposed to be helping me but they were to busy glaring at each other from opposite sides of my room. After I finished cleaning most of the mess I decide to intervene with their staring contests.
"So... what's your favorite color?" I asked, getting both of them to look at me.
"Orange."
"Green."
"That's wonderful! Mine is Yellow!" I said smiling and the both soon started to smile too.
"Because its bright and colorful?" Asked Sayori.
"Yeah. Plus neon yellow can blind people." I said before laughing. "But you two should talk so you both can help me without staring at each other."
They both looked at each other and it was all back to serious.
"No." Said Sayori.
"What? Why?" I asked.
"The arguement made me remember what Monika did it me and what she's capable of."
Oh. OH!
I can't help with...
"You should have gotten over it when I brought you back." Said Monika.
"Wait-."
"You killed me remember? That's something someone shouldn't forgive easily." Said Sayori and she had a point. Monika got her to hang herself, to die.
To have a chance with me.
•••
They had already started arguing again.
"Okay!" I said with a sharp cheerful tone, getting their attention. "Unless you want be to kick something with me probably getting hurt again. Shut up." I said and Sayroi looked scared and Monika nervous. I coughed. "Thanks."
"I know you girls have the most difficult relationships out of the four of you and I probably should have know this would happen but I forgot. I'm sorry. But as much as you don't like each other, you need to talk about it. You don't have to trust or like each other but you need to get along so try to talk as your clean the rest of my room!" I said before running on shutting the door.
"(Y/N)!" They both yelled.
Well I can deal with that later, of course.
-
3rd person.
With Monika and Sayori
°•°•°
"She just left us to clean her room." Said Monika. "Great."
"... We were just standing there as she did most of it." Said Sayori as she began cleaning, mostly putting stuff in (Y/n)'s closet.
"Sayori. I'm sorry." Said Monika. "I really thought we had gotten past this."
Sayori sighed.
"I know, I wanted to ignore what you've done to me and the others but we can't be doing that forever, Monika. You hurt us." Said Sayori, looking at Monika.
"Now I can't even understand why I did that. You, Yuri, and Natsuki, are so wonderful people and (Y/n) would-."
"Do you still love her?" Asked Sayori, Monika blushed.
"Yes but she clearly wasn't wanting a relationship when she saved us." Said Monika.
"She did it because she probably couldn't live with the guilt of leaving us there." Said Sayori.
"Even after I was rude to her when this all started. I was such an idiot." Said Monika and they continue you cleaning.
"I'm not trusting you." Said Sayori, still cleaning not looking at Monika. Monika looked at her.
"Diffently with someone like (Y/n)." Said Sayori. "Because you are going to have some competition for her heart."
-
Ahhhhhh!
So two have finally admitted that they like you. Just a unlikely two.
-
So I made this chapter a month ago and forgot about so sorry. I've got writers block so updates might be slower than normal which is normally slow so sorry about that too.

The world was spinning. It was spinning too fast and your stomach protested, lurching violently as you stood up. You really wished somebody had taken that bottle of tequila off you sooner. Waves of nausea rolled through your body and you could already taste the acidic vomit in your throat. Your hands were damp with sweat and you pressed them against the cool wall, stumbling towards what you were pretty sure was a bathroom. You tried to blink away the blurriness, but the fun part of the alcohol had worn off - all that remained was the dizziness and nausea.
You stopped, pressing your forehead against the wall and trying desperately not to throw up in the middle of the party.
It had been a bad week – you lost count of how many assignments you received, and you had mostly stayed holed up in your room, studying for hours on end. Natasha and Wanda joined you occasionally, so did Steve, but Bucky spent the most time with you.
After you realised your feelings for the long-haired idiot, you had planned to tell him. You really meant to tell him. But you quickly realised you were kidding yourself if you thought you could summon the courage.
“I’m waiting for the right time, Nat” You had whispered, sitting across from her in the quiet library.
“Oh my god, toughen up, Sunshine. You’ve been anxious all week and frankly, I’m getting sick of it.” She whispered back, giving you an expectant look.
“Maybe we should just tell him” Wanda mumbled, playing absentmindedly with the rings on her fingers.
“Christ, would you both shut up for two seconds.” You pressed your hands against both sides of your head and looked down, trying to focus back on your work.
“No, I will not shut up. You and Barnes are being ridiculous. For the past week you’ve been all touchy-feely and it is gross,” she hissed. “I don’t think Sam and I will survive another minute of it.” She aggressively flipped the page of her textbook.
“You guys have been… very close recently.” Wanda mumbled, still sitting beside you, apparently having finished her assignments. “You should just tell him to come over, and then – drop the bomb while you’re studying in your room.”
“Are we still calling that studying?” Natasha sassed, giving you an amused, yet still slightly annoyed look.
“…I just– not yet. I can’t do it yet.” You confirmed, giving Wanda a pleading look. You knew Natasha wouldn’t give up. She let out a huff and picked up her books, moving to sit with Sam on another table.
“She’s not mad at you,” Wanda mumbled, placing a gentle hand on your shoulder. “She just– she knows how happy you and Buck could be.”
You knew you had to tell him soon, so you decided that maybe you would get a chance at the party – plus, a little bit of alcohol in your system couldn’t hurt. Unfortunately, you had drunk more than ‘a little’ alcohol.
It had all started when you were having drinks with the guys at your apartment. You had a few drinks, someone suggested shots and it all went downhill from there. You arrived at the party already pretty drunk – and then you continued to drink.
To be fair, it was not a good party. Electronic music boomed throughout the frat house and girls in skimpy clothing paraded on the dance-floor, doing something that resembled dancing, but it looked more like a baby bear trying to catch salmon. Guys that howled as soon as they saw any sign of bare skin filled the couches and kitchen. The backyard was somehow bogged down in enough cigarette smoke to blind a person and the only place with room to breathe was the bathroom.
This time, Bucky didn’t become your knight in shining armor with a smile and a pair of green crocs.
Bucky was too busy freaking out.
“Are you gonna tell her? If you aren’t going to do anything about this, you have to stop leading her on” Sam muttered, passing Bucky a cup filled to the brim with beer.
“She’s a great girl, Buck,” Steve added, surveying the party and wincing at the sight of it.
“You think I don’t know that?” Bucky practically growled – his temper was not great when he was drunk.
“Of course you know that – but she’s not gonna wait 70 years for you to grow some balls.” Sam punched him in the shoulder to make his point.
He knew he needed to talk to her, but he was absolutely terrified. He had never been in a proper relationship before – until now, he had survived on ‘friends with benefits’ and ‘booty calls.’ He couldn’t even think about doing those things with her. For the first time in his life, this wasn’t about sex. This was about how he felt – and that terrified him.
“I–“ he stopped, sculling more than half of his beer and turning away from Sam and Steve. “Not tonight.” He stated solemnly, wandering into the crowd.
Meanwhile, you were doing another shot. That was a mistake. It burned your throat like a fire cascading to your esophagus and your eyes burned from the impact. You knew you were falling down some horrible rabbit-hole of drunkenness. But you were subconsciously procrastinating a certain conversation and failed to grasp the edges of consciousness.
The blackout was inevitable.
The rest of the night was a blur of stumbling idiots (including yourself) and sugary drinks. Images of dancing and beer pong and overzealous laughter flashed through your mind as music boomed in your ears. Red hair, ring-bearing fingers, a cheeky grin, broad shoulders. Distorted images of your friends but no memory of what really happened. It was all a blur. Until suddenly -  it wasn’t.
So here you were, the world spinning around you as you stumbled to the bathroom.
Your head was still pressed against the wall and your eyes still squeezed shut as your body punished you for your actions. You felt like you were going to die – and then it got worse.
Something pressed up against your back, a hand, maybe a little too low. “You alright, baby?” His voice was deep and slightly slurred, but you were far too drunk to notice the ominous tone behind his words.
You shook your head vigorously, fingernails scraping at the white wall. Your stomach lurched again and felt your hands ball up into fists, nails digging into skin. He wrapped his arm around your waist and mumbled something about “getting you out of here.”
When you finally opened your eyes again, you were leaning into him. The scent of Axe body spray and some sort of cheap whiskey filled your nostrils and your stomach lurched again. He sent you a smile. It seemed to make you feel even sicker.
You reached a door in the hallway and you found yourself surprised when it wasn’t a bathroom. The stranger moved aside to reveal a bedroom, pulling your intoxicated body through the door and up against his own.
You were instantly pretty aware of what was going on, and weakly tried to pull away. He leaned down and pressed his lips against your neck. His hand wandered from the small of your back, lower, pressing against your ass and squeezing awkwardly.
Suddenly you were sober enough to realise what was happening and you let out a yell – an almost scream. You knee flew up, crashing into his crotch and he leaned forward, allowing you to knee him in the nose. He fell to the ground, too drunk to handle this sudden change of events and the door flew open, revealing a very angry Sam Wilson.
He lurched forward, picking the guy up by his collar and pressing him against a wall. “you piece of shit” he seethed.
You didn’t get a chance to hear the rest of the conversation as you stumbled from the room, practically falling right into Steve’s chest.
“Are you okay?” he pulled you into a standing position giving you some room to breathe. “Y/n, hey, answer me, are you alright?”
Steve was standing in front of you a worried look on his face and at first, you couldn’t see past his tall frame, but when he crouched down, trying to catch your eyes with his – you saw the thing that made your heart drop. How could this night get even worse?
Bucky was pressed against the wall in the distance, practically swallowing some chick’s tongue. His hands were on her waist and you blinked, hard, trying to resist the flashback to when his hands were on your waist.
“Y/n?” Steve’s voice was a quiet echo in the distance, a worried whisper that you couldn’t quite hear. You couldn’t tear your eyes away.
His hair was haphazardly ruffled, and you blinked again, eyes brimming with tears as you thought about how similar that looked to when he woke up in your bed. You wished you could blackout again.
Finally, Steve turned to find what you were staring at and he winced. He immediately burst into action – pulling you tightly into his chest, one hand on the back of your head whilst the other wrapped around your waist, leaving Sam to deal with the asshole.
You felt detached from your own being – numb to your senses. You could feel Steve mumbling reassurances into your hair, but you couldn’t hear what he was saying. He steered you away, practically carrying you outside where you immediately leaned over the curb, finally throwing up the contents of your stomach. Steve’s hands rested on your back in an attempt to comfort you, but you were pretty sure you couldn’t be comforted right now.
You stood up straight, breathing in a long stream of fresh air and taking a few steps away from the vomit on the ground. Steve was watching you carefully. You kicked a few rocks off the curb before sitting down, throwing your head back and looking up at the sky. It was still silent and you felt tears well up in your eyes.
“Y/n I– I’m sorry. You shouldn’t have had to see that” Steve sat down next to you, his arm resting behind you and you let your head fall onto his shoulder.
“I–“ you squeezed your eyes shut and sniffled. “I feel like an idiot” you murmured, opening your eyes to stare into the empty street in front of you.
“You’re not. You’re not an idiot, please, don’t think that.” His voice was gentle, but there was a hint of frustration hidden behind his good intentions – frustration at his dumbass best friend.
“I am though.” You wiped a tear from under your eye and rolled your eyes at yourself. “It was stupid to think– to think that he– that he and I–“ You let out a shaky breath, trying to collect your thoughts.
“Of course he doesn’t like me.” You felt Steve’s arm tighten around you. “It’s Bucky. He doesn’t– He doesn’t do relationships.”
“Listen to me, y/n,” Steve moved so that he could see your face. “Bucky is an idiot – he doesn’t understand what he’s feeling, he– Christ, he has never been good at emotions. He’s terrified – and I know that’s no excuse, I’m gonna kill him, trust me – He is just so scared to lose you, that– that he’s trying to find comfort in what he already knows. Everybody is scared of the unknown, Bucky’s no different.”
It was quiet for a moment; the only sound was the quiet buzzing from the streetlights and the faint echo from the party. You wiped your eyes and stood up from the curb, reaching your hand out to help Steve. “Take me home, Steve”
He nodded solemnly, ordering an Uber on his phone and opening the door for you when it arrived.
“Text me when you get home” he ordered gently, head sticking through the open window. “I’m gonna go… deal with some things.” He gestured to the house behind him and you nodded gently, resting back against the head-rest.
“Thanks, Stevie” you mumbled, closing your eyes as a wave of exhaustion hit you hard. “Don’t kill him, yeah?” You didn’t need to hear his response as the Uber pulled away from the curb, beginning your journey home.

You are???? an absolute gem????? And I'd be happy to talk to you whenever!!! Tell me more about what you liked about rune factory! Who did you marry? Did you marry one person or a collection of people (and if you did marry a collection of people, do you have a favourite??)
Omg????? I am not entirely sure when you sent this but I am so sorry I didnt see this until just now!! Ahhhhhh thank you so much???
Uh ok. Well, you asked and you shall receive - beware of a loooong post incoming lol. I could talk about RF for days and no one I know plays it so you’ve really opened the floodgates here haha
So full disclosure I’ve actually only had one rune factory spouse thus far and it was Doug! I got… a little too attached the first time I played (4 was my first rune factory game!) So I decided to try to complete the shipping list in my first save file (still have not accomplished that…) and played for just. Hours and hours and hours. And never actually got around to a second playthrough. When I first started, I had thought I might marry Vishal bc hes just so sweet but then Doug ended up stealing my heart (what can I say, hotheaded redheads/dwarves with a heart of gold and a tragic backstory are my weakness). So yeah, he’s definitely my favorite bachelor in 4. I also dont think it’s necessary for my enjoyment of a marriage option but I really liked how his whole deal was connected to the plot. I went into the game totally blind on the whole thing aside from having looked up the basic profiles on the bachelors/bachelorettes and I somehow didnt notice on my own so I had no idea that his FP was locked by story events until after the fact, but I loved how the plot was tied to him allowing himself to open up more. In a matter unrelated to the plot, and definitely dumbly cheesy, I found out about how some people had trouble with getting the random events and stuff required for marriage right around when I was getting ready to officially decide who to pick (tho it wasn’t a hard choice for me at that point) and I literally got all of Doug’s events so, so easily. I didn’t have to do any of the dreaded reloading tricks or anything, and even though I was also technically dating Vishnal and Arthur, Doug was the first one I got all the events for and the first marriage event to just happen naturally in-game, so I’d like to think it was just meant to be (lol). I’d love to someday play through as Lest as well and finally romance one of the girls, maybe Forte or Dolce… or Xiao Pai… these games have TOO MANY great characters in them I swear, it makes it hard to pick just one!
I have played a good portion of 3 as well, but I wanted to get everyones events done, esp the wooly reveal events, and I’ve just been so focused on other things, I guess, that I still havent finished it - heck, I havent touched it in like 7 months :( I should really do that actually… Anyways, 3 is going to be hard for me to pick a spouse bc, again, there are so many good characters. I think I’m leaning Raven not necessarily bc she’s my all around favorite but because weirdly I ship her the most with Micah? I’m not sure if that’s how you’re supposed to play these games but one thing I really value with the Rune Factory series in particular over, like, Harvest Moon or Stardew Valley, is that the protags get to BE characters, and not just cardboard stand-ins!!! I know they’re mostly written fairly neutrally so you can play how you want, but they all *Definitely* have their own quirks and I absolutely love that. Theres certainly a time and a place for self inserts but honestly I personally tend to find myself more drawn into a game when the protagonists have their own stakes in the world besides I, The Player, Am Playing A Game In A Fantasy World That I Do With As I Please. Even if it’s just in what sort of dialogue choices you’re given or something, which HM/SV also dont really have as much of. (Cough unless the game in question is Animal Crossing. I guess they’ve really got me there. Cough) So, not that I dont like Raven in her own right, but I just really love their whole plotline together? RF3 does a really great job with character growth that, coming from someone seeing the series in reverse, I think RF4’s system of town events kind of mitigated, with the whole randomness factor meaning they couldnt link as many characters to any one overarching series of events. And I really love how Raven and Micah’s events go and i think ending them in romance is just super sweet. It should also be noted that I AM a sucker for a quiet-badass-who’s-sort-of-sassy-in-a-blink-and-you-miss-it-way x literal-sunshine-and-everyone-loves-them-and-they’re-always-in-everyones-business dynamic, for sure. As far as my actual favorite rf3 bachelorette, I think maybe Marian might take the cake? She’s so wacky and out there but her whole insecurity thing really touched me. That might change whichever way the wind is blowing on the day you ask me, though. To be quite honest with you, I fell hard for the whole town of Sharance and I could probably write essays on every single one of the marriage options in 3. Also though, I ended up shipping like all the bachelorettes with each other, sooo… my bad, Micah, my bad, lmao.
I also own Tides of Destiny, but my Wii started freaking out not long after I got it and I usually prefer to play handheld games anyway, so I started it but I never got too far. Someday I’ll play it. (I’m really hoping to get my hands on 2 sometime soon though because the idea of marriage rivals is SO up my alley - I’m sure it’s a pain to program but I wish more dating sims would do that!!! Maybe it’s just bc I’m someone who loves to ship just as much if not sometimes more than to see my own playable character have their romance play out, but I think it’s a super fun idea and makes the whole thing more grounded in the setting, that things can happen and relationships change outside of the protag’s involvement, too.)
So yeah. GREAT questions, my friend. I do love farming sims and non-NSFW dating sims in general and add onto that dungeon crawling and monster taming??? Plus it has a plot (even if it’s an albeit fairly simple one)?? Rune Factory really has it all, man. BUT if I’m being totally honest I think the best part of Rune Factory for me has always been the characters. I dont know how they manage to make the towns feel so alive and balance out all the personalities so well but they’ve really got it down. Maybe they have a secret formula somewhere… I’d love to see it :P
And!! I’d love to hear YOUR favorites as well??? Thanks again for the ask! I dont get a lot so I dont check super frequently and I really hope this hasn’t been sitting in my box for too long. You’re more than welcome to talk to me whenever too! :)

okay, this is a weird one, and it's alright if you don't wanna write it, but it's what came to mind: since Walky is one of the very few beings Captain Tim is afraid of (because his heat sensors show her as way too hot at all times) the Watchdogs try to get her to assist with their Tim-related issues?
This was fun! ^v^ Thanks Tessa!
“I-I still don’t really understand-”
“Look, it’s obvious that Captain Tim’s afraid of you,” Peepers explained as he rubbed his eye a bit, “I have no idea why, but he is.” Sure, sometimes he’d be a bit cautious around Wander, not wanting to be hugged by the wandering weirdo. So maybe it had something to do with the fact that Wander and Walky looked like the same species? However, while Wander was treated as a nuisance by the arachnomorph, the ‘captain’ was completely terrified of Walky!
As much as he tried to think of some sort of explanation, Peepers just couldn’t figure one out. But, reason or no, Commander Peepers wasn’t one to waste an opportunity. “So, all I need you to do is frighten him to the point where it discourages him from attacking the Watchdogs! It’ll be easy!”
Walky’s frown deepened. “M-Maybe... But, it also seems so-sorta wrong. I know Captain Tim is a bit... r-rough sometimes but-”
“But there’s no buts about it!” Peepers argued, “That little monster’s barely trained, and this is an opportunity we can’t afford to waste!” Not if they still wanted to have soldiers around.
“It’s still kinda m-mean... Besides, what’s Hater going to think of me wh-when he finds out I’ve been tormenting his little T-Tim Tim?”
Peepers sighed. “Okay okay. Don’t think of it as tormenting or terrorizing. Just intimidate him a little! Enough to where he knows not to attack any of the watchdogs because he’ll think that you’ll be nearby!”
Walky gave an unsure hum, and maybe she would have continued the argument, if not for the sudden screams from down the hall. “EVERYBODY RUN!” she heard a soldier shout, “HE’S TRYING TO FETCH!” “NOT AGAIN!” “RUN FOR YOUR LIIIIIVES!”
“... *sigh* Alright alright, I’ll t-try to scare him straight...” “Great!” Peepers beamed, giving a quick thanks before pushing her out into the hall and shutting the door behind her.
“Geez... R-Rude, much?” Though, maybe it was more out of fear than lack of manners, considering how loud the growls and snarls were getting. Within just a couple seconds, the arachnomorph skidded into the hall - and immediately froze. Walky stared back at him. “...Uhh... Boo?”
Giving a loud wimper, Captain Tim doubled back and ran down another hall, hoping to catch up to his one-eyed prey. And, looking as reluctant as ever, Walky followed him.
()()()()()()()()()()()
“Come on... There has to be something! A-Anything!”
It had been nearly two weeks since Walky began Peepers intimidation plan, and while Tim had mostly stopped chasing the watchdogs, Walky still felt sorta guilty about taking part in training that, while necessary, still seemed sort of cruel. But, above that, she was curious to know what made the little spider-beast so afraid of her in the first place. And, what better way to learn than doing a bit of research.
Unfortunately, with arachnomorphs being so dangerous, it was hard for most to do research on them. Plus, the whole ‘galaxy being destroyed’ thing didn’t exactly help, since a lot of libraries and labs had been destroyed. However there were some sites and papers still available, though most were all about how to avoid the little monsters rather than being about the creatures themselves.
Of course it was all common sense stuff that could easily be skimmed over. Hiding, being stealthy, covering your he- Wait, what? Walky quickly scrolled back and started reading. “’Technically, a-arachnomorphs are blind. However, they are able to sense ther-thermal energy and can easily track and hunt w-warm blooded creatures. However, if you are able to hide your inner heat, you h-have a chance of escape.’ Hmm... Thermal heat, huh?” Maybe she didn’t have blood, but she certainly had inner heat. She had been created using a star, after all, and if Tim could see her sun-like core-
“Then no w-wonder he’s so afraid...” Turning off the computer, Walky quickly went out to one of the Skullship’s many hallways. It was time for a hunt of her own... And thankfully, it wasn’t too difficult at first. While he might have mostly stopped attacking the watchdogs, there was still the matter of his afternoon walk.
“AHH! Captain Tim, PLEASE! HEEL! STOP! AHHHHHH!” Of course, despite the pleading from his walker, Tim continued running as fast as he could, growling and screeching all the way. “Come onnnn! Heel, heel, HE-!” Suddenly, the spider-beast did exactly that. He stopped - and it was such a surprise that his walker actually ended up letting go of the leash and flying past him, though that was of no concern to Tim. All he could focus on was the incoming heat signature.
Growling, Tim started to run again, past his walker and other potential prey, all the way across the ship until he arrived at a familiar doorway. Still sensing that he was being followed, Captain Tim pushed the door opened and scurried under his master’s bed.
“Don’t worry, Tim,” a quiet voice told him as the bright heat signature entered the room, “I-I’m not gonna hurt you. Promise.” The words were certainly non-threatening, but Tim still growled at him, not daring to move from his hiding place.
“...” Closing her eyes, Walky started to take deep breaths. She could feel herself cooling down ever so slightly, at least on the surface. Even her fur started to get a bit lighter. Once she felt like she was cool enough, she crouched down and poked her head under the bed. “Come on, T-Tim. I’m a friend, okay? I won’t b-burn you.”
“Grrr...” She was still hot. Hot like fire or plasma, like the weapons people usually shot at him before his found his forever home. ...Though, while her core was still burning, Tim did see just a bit of a difference in the heat that surrounded her body.
Smiling just a little, Walky stuck out her hand. Tim hissed at it. ...And yet, after a moment, he sniffed it. Slowly, Walky lifted her hand, and touched him, only stroking a tiny bit of his fur. The touch was warm... But, it was a nice warm. Like his master’s favorite pink blanket, or his master himself whenever he crawled up into his ribcage for a nap. In fact, this hot star-creature’s core was sorta like his master’s powerful electrical one! VERY dangerous on its own but, easily contained within a creature that seemed... nice.
And, after a few minutes of light petting, Tim finally made another move, making Walky gasp slightly. “T-There we go!” she grinned as the arachnomorph crawled out, “See, I-I told you I was nice!”
“Grrr,” was all Tim replied, though there wasn’t much malice behind it. Walky continued petting him, making sure to keep her outer heat low enough to make her inner core seem less frightening, and soon enough the spider-beast was on her lap, enjoying her pets as well as her warmth. “Hehe, good boy...”

“...I just can’t believe it. Just-” Peepers sighed, shaking his head. Maybe he should have expected this from a person like Walky. So much for his plan. Smirking a bit, Sylvia simply patted him on the shoulder.
Hater crossed his arms, pouting. “Well, we should wake them up now. Hmph, the nerve of her, cuddling with MY Tim-Tim...”
“Aw, let ‘em cuddle just a bit longer!” Wander insisted as he snapped another quick picture of the pair of nappers, “Nothin’ wrong with a bit of cuddling.” “But he’s MY pet, not hers!” “But they can still be frieeeeends~” “Ughhhh.”
Captain Tim gave a small growl at the noise, twitching a bit in his sleep and refusing to get up from the warm lap, at least for a few more minutes. Of course, no matter how warm the sun-golem was, he would still care about his skeletal master the most - much more than the golem or any of the one-eyed toys that he’d be sure to ‘play with’ once he woke up.
But, in terms of having another person to nap with and recieve non-annoying attention from (while at the same time not having a delicious, beating heart to tempt him with like his master’s friend, that one lady with all the blasters, had) perhaps Walky wasn’t too bad...
THE END (hope you liked this! ^v^)

I see a couple of items that get my attention, hoping if they are possible to buy though the proxy service I used to buy the dwd game last year.
Apparently, they can handle them (the shop is tsuruga-ya, for further notes- I know they have a “market” spot on Rakuten and Yahoo but the items I want... they do not handle through those spots :’D).
(Also, I’m speaking about FromJapan... I cannot handle other proxy services at the moment?)
But after the CDJapan thing (kinda resolved to this point, but AHHHHHH) that happened last week, with me not having anything to do until August arrives (while also finding out if that thing I was working in it’s still viable -but my guts are telling me that’s not going to happen :’)))-), already did a big payment, and I have a few things that I did that haven’t been fully paid, either.... You can imagine how tight I’m right now about my own decisions.
The fact is, I’m also overthinking things.
I’m a mess when taking shopping decisions... and it’s quite been a while since I have used my other frequent shopping sites. Maybe things would have been more simple if I was still fresh on how things were managed (my problem with CDJapan was mostly related to ‘wait, a pre-billing agreement? I need to cancel the thing with the older -my dad’s- PP account to use my own?) when I last bought smth physical online from international sites... but lol, my local currency was screwed over by the USD last year... it kinda got as it was earlier last year in the past month... Hence why I have been all “MAN, I really want to buy this and this, now that I CAN”.
In conclusion, I am a ball of stress since yesterday.
I know how the whole payment is going to cost me, as it’s expensive because proxy services, right? But, even considering that the last thing I bought with a proxy was the DWD game (and same service, to top it all)... I’m still pretty on the unknown of what to do next. Five or six items from the same shop, that gather my interests... the equal is 600 yen... and yet, I don’t know if they DO have a limit of how much items can be ordered from the same shop... this time i’m being VERY cheap -because using the insurance buyer plan doesn’t allow me to use Registered SAL... so speaking on terms of “insurance” I’m going for the cheaper plan... which means the order is not going to be covered as such, LMAO. However, there’s still the whole “what if” situations on my head.
I haven’t had problems with Registered SAL on the past... because most of the problems have been related to MexPost, my country’s post service. Tracking always assure me that the package is on track and I KINDA reclaim about it on the post office... however, the guys there do not register things on time and aduana is a pain in the butt, 80% of the time (even I had a HARD TIME with a package that was coming from the US!!!)
I never really vent about this on Tumblr, but I did on Twitter at the time... but last year I lost a package... which contained certain bromide. I do not who to blame here: maybe it was my fault giving not well-worded shipping directions? maybe it was the sender’s fault? maybe it was MexPost? Same kind of worriness went to the Tenifesta pamphlet, as it was sent on Air Mail... and that one DID arrive at last on late March.
The things I’m overthinking is mostly in what ifs scenarios. Setting aside my thing with PP and the fact that it may be more simple than I’m assuming (because I’m really that clueless), I’m thinking “is this shop REALLY trustful?’, ‘can I trust the proxy that the things may arrive to their warehouse?’, ‘can I trust in the shipping method’? ‘Am I REALLY trusful that MexPost isn’t going to screw big this time?’... especially with the money I am spending on it.
“Then, why are you buying in the first place... or why are you waiting too long to make decisions?”
I think what encapsulates my problem mostly retails on the proxy service and my trust issues with MexPost. Especially the latter.
It’s pretty much blind faith and trust. Even with tracking.
I really want to be more assertive and say “this is it! I’m going to buy this!” but I’m also very wary of my own expenses.
And this also unfolds another isues that have me thinking a lot in the past couple of months. *lies down*
I dunno what to do. It’s also one of those “buy this now or regret it forever, because the next chance may or may not happen at all”, so I really don’t want to wait so much longer.
This is one of those things that I also tend to discuss with my family at times to arrive to a common consensus, with the only thing they conclude with me is that ‘is my money’ :’D. So... probably I will have a clear answer tomorrow... and I will probably be buying those things, too.
