Okay, I sat at my desk thinking I'd write, but instead I'm so tired (distinct from being sleepy. I'm usually tired. I'm almost never sleepy) that sitting at my desk hurts and I can't focus worth shit.
I'm beginning to understand how I can write doorstop-size novel(s?) from my phone actually...horizontal is a great position in general.

I went and stood in front of a judge who said congratulations and got my name changed. Now I have to wait two weeks for my social security appointment before I can change my ID or passport, but I did the first step!

Hahaha, I finally got a screenshot of Zonovo getting cornered by the scorpion!! He's so silly, I love him.
Hazrov is completely unbothered, listening to her friend panic. Tea is more important than making sure Zonovo doesn't hyperventilate anyway.
Zonovo only knows two ways to talk to kids. It's either "Oh, wow, ballons? :D That's so cool! Do you have a favourite colour, too? :D" or "Yes, but you have to understand that the discrimination faced by Yttakin is different to the discrimination faced by Impids, but that both are serious problems that need to be dealt with as soon as possible..."
Of course she likes his beard! She puts flowers in it every morning before he goes fishing so he knows how much she loves him. <3
Need to get a mod to let hair show under hats. Bald Albina threw me for a loop, not gonna lie.
And here we are. The end is in sight. I think with a combination of advanced weaponry, some helpful allies, and some very powerful psycasts, we can hold out until the ship reactor is ready.
... I'm going to have to draw so much fighting over the next few days, aren't I?

Recently I've adopted a phrase "it's not my best work" and I've been using it in multiple situations (drawing, cooking, or social interactions) and I find it kind of helpful actually. Especially in regards to social interactions, it allows me to step away from the interaction and say, "yeah that didn't go perfectly. Maybe I could have done that better, but that'll be for next time. That was not my best work, but I know better now how to handle it." Idk it lets me feel more free to try and maybe mess up. I don't have to be perfect.

not to be about opera again but to be about opera again. as an art form it has the reputation of being super stuffy and something for snobs who don't know how to have fun only but honestly this was one of, perhaps even THE main theatrical entertainment for centuries. i wish people knew how hard these things can go and how engaging they can be. like characters kill and die and fight wars and (almost) commit human sacrifice left and right. characters fall in love they mourn they're ecstatic they cry they're furious it's an extremely dramatic and emotional art form! and i understand that opera does not appear approachable bc of the general conventions of the art form but i promise old works can be fun and engaging if you go watch them with some preparation beforehand (reading the libretto helps) - not to mention not all operas are old bc there are so many modern operas which engage with topical events! also the music slaps.
