Meet Cerebri, “The Haven”!

Also deemed “Bell Dad” by the TSP Love Plague discord server.

He’s my funky version of The Narrator!

He was originally part of The Pantheon, a group of gods chosen to create different worlds in order to produce the perfect one. After centuries of checking and monitoring other gods’ creations, he craved to write his own story. Thus The Parable was made. However, he continuously broke the rules of The Pantheon by visiting and forming a romantic relationship with his creation. Cerebri was caught by The Curator who began to corrupt and delete The Parable while both were still inside. Cerebri was able to escape but not without seeing his love painfully melt and glitch into what was once their home (I plan on writing that story called “Exile and Erasure” soon).

Cerebri now runs an extended version of The Memory Zone called “The Haven”. It’s an extension of himself where he houses members from the Paraverse whose homes have also been compromised.

Fun Facts!

The bells that he dons are heavily tied to his emotions and will change their tune based on how he’s feeling

He’s a little tea fiend though his favorite thing to have is a London Fog

His golden smoke smells like honey

He has an area of his house where he’s kept a picture of every person that’s stayed in his Haven as well as a piece from their universe

This man has formed a whole ass family of members from other Paraverses that I could literally rant about for h o u r s (@shortpirateking , @tsuru-yasunaga , and @adamkeepr I blame you all the most for this brain rot *shakes you*)

Cerebri used to sneak into other universes in The Pantheon to be in musicals

Apologies in advance to people who are sick of hearing people talk about Wally, but in all honesty Grandon are partially to blame for hope still being alive.

If Grandon really has no intention of bringing him back then they really should come out into the open and say, “Sorry, guys. It’s just not happening. We feel like we ended the character’s story where we needed to.”

If they had no intention of bringing him back they shouldn’t have backtracked on Artemis’ visions of him in ‘Overwhelmed’

If they had no intention of being him back, it’s cruel to tease the fans with constant hallucinations and no 100% unarguable evidence that he ISN’T alive.

If they HAVE had intentions of bringing him back, knowing how desperately the fans want it. Knowing it was one of the largest driving forces of the shows revival in the first place, it is actually a little insulting that they have dragged it out for two whole seasons.

If somehow they bring him back in the last two eps of season four and the show doesn’t get renewed for a season five, I think it will actually hurt worse than when he literally died at the end of season two. Because we worked so hard to get this show brought back so that we could see Grandon get to tell that story and they squandered the opportunity. And while season four has been decent enough, I will still feel kind of cheated out of that.

I just. If Greg can argue with fans on Twitter all the time, then he can come out and confirm their intentions. I don’t want to hear anything about ‘keeping their story options open’ because at this point it’s looking less and less likely that we are getting a fifth season and it won’t really matter anymore anyway.

Honestly, I’m not sure the validation of him being alive will be worth it anymore, with his resurrection being so late in the game. I’m so disappointed.

Like a part of me is baffled by those weird ass pro-imperialism /the fire nation is superior fanfics because…not only because it goes against the grain of what the show was about?

But the Fire Nation is stupid sometimes. So very stupid. Only those who have some sort of respect for the spirits tend to have any kind of deep wisdom or foresight at all.

They not only try to kill the moon when they seem to be making a lot of their initial advances using their damn NAVY** but the FN isn’t even responsible it seems for a lot of their more recent technological advantages in the war. It’s possible they got said boats up and running themselves at the start of the war…but I have to wonder if they did anything themselves in the hundred years since. Like at all. Besides kidnapping people and forcing them into slavery.

They threatened an Earth Kingdom man who offered his services and honestly? The fact they did that kind of makes it seem like they’re incapable as it stands of that kind of creativity even if it’s geared towards murder. The FN isn’t your Randian anti-religion pro-scepticism utopia you weirdos.

I mean it gets especially stupid given that this is a world where spirits and divine powers are VERY OBVIOUSLY REAL but even if we somehow discounted that the fN doesn’t seem to have any kind of scientific genius to name. As @greatcolorfan I believe said on a reblog of a related post I made a long while back perhaps it’s the whole blind obedience thing has screwed them over.

He’s really fleshed out so nicely in this series. Like, I barely remembered he was in the manga, I was much more focused on the girls, but I am genuinely invested in him here and he feels like he knows he’s in a show but thinks it’s a j-drama.

We’re halfway. This is. You need to understand, I didn’t get the anime when I was younger, just the manga, and while I know where things are going, this is my first really seeing them animated. By the time I was an adult and could seek out the anime on my own, I wasn’t motivated to, both due to the difficulty of access, and being a bit leery that I might not even like the sub on account of the clashing shades of pink used for Ichigo’s design there. To some extent Lettuce, too. Idk, it just didn’t feel like the manga to me, but rather than fully committing to the hints of sci fi space opera I see in those mange to anime translations, wound up in this middle ground that didn’t seem very thoughtful. I also grew up with the OG SM dub so I’m certainly not judging anyone loving OG TMM, just contextualizo my frame of reference.

Teru’s right in almost everything, except his one big glaring flaw is that he overlooks Kou’s emotional struggles. By deeming them less than his, he’s caused Kou to suffer alone.

But we already can imagine how Teru would react to finding out how he’s unintentionally treated Kou, so it’s hard to be mad at him.
