I usually only post stylings and leave the talking to the tags, but I needed to get this out.
I'm so discouraged by the game here lately. I've contacted support several times about the crashes. I tried to make my entry this weekend 5 times and I never even got to the submit button. It was crashing mid styling. Sometimes before I even got to the sticker screen. My device is within their "requirements" for fluid game play. When I proved this to customer support they straight up went "oh we'lllet devs know of this issue" because they didn't have an counter argument against my device or its active storage at all.
My enjoyment in this game is dependent on me actually using the items I acquire. I'm not here for scores, I'm not here for competitive play, I'm here to make pretty pictures. And when I can't even make a casual styling outside of any competition entry or anything without the game crashing halfway through my efforts. What's the point of playing anymore?

I wanted to make a cleaner summary of last week's classes and also review the classes I have this week since the material is already uploaded beforehand but I was feeling so horrible throughout the day that when I sat down I was just gonna look at the ones for tomorrow but I think I'm just gonna go to bed because I just gave my little numbers game a few tries and not even the joy of tribial elementary school-level math games is bringing my brain cells and/or full sentience back
#diary#accessing it through the CMD thing and not just running it from the IDE made me realize a few things about it though so I'll hav#I'll have to maybe jot them down somewhere when I'd normally just be rly excited and try to fix them straight away like I am truly fucked r#I do wanna make an eng version of it sometime soon so I can share it even tho it's literally the simplest little thing. it's fun if you're#an easily amused nerd that loves playing with numbers in a truly useless manner. if that makes sense#also very obviously text-only I am NOT torturing myself with any graphics of ANY kind rn#it closes immediatly as they do and also when it comes to having double/triple digit starting numbers it becomes a lot less fun I think tho#though I haven't used it much with those yet#I still wanna figure out a way of making it better when it comes to 2/3 digit starters. and my original idea included maybe keeping track#keeping track of how many steps you took even between different rounds but I made the simplest version for now. I also think making like a#''this was the least amount of steps possible!'' type thing would be very very cool but that is FAR too big brained for me rn#cause I can figure out how to do the record keeping thing but that last one is like. let's stop talking for a little while.................#oh but adding an actual interface sounds so fun even though I have very little clue on how to do that rn I could probably STOP typing becau#because I can feel my stupid ass self start getting excited about this which will make it so I start working on it instead of going to bed#NO. DOWN !!!!!!!!!!!!!! auhgh............ oh man I had a lame joke to make but I completely forgot what it was#I have coding class tomorrow in which I normally just do the exercises as fast as possible before playing around but the only Python editor#I could find installed on the school computers was Visual Studio Code and I have no clue how to use that shit like I don't need so many#so many buttons. probz. OKAY GOODNIGHT

Your controller clicks aggressively as you move your joysticks and press the buttons, as you play your competitive game. You are heavily focused, trying your best to win, but unfortunately, by the end of the round... your opponents got a knockout. You sigh in dissapointment.
"Sunshine... what are you doing?" you hear a familiar voice and the soft creak of your door. In comes the cutest and most stubborn man you've ever known. None other than Casper, your Grim Reaper boyfriend.
"Just playin a video game, why?" You ask him, raising your eyebrow.
"Video game... This is another mortal custom, right..?" He questions, tilting his head in curiousity.
"...A custom?" You look at him, you chuckle slightly. "isn't everything I do just another mortal custom to you?"
His eyes narrow, he pouts. Unamuzed, clearly. He then sighs.
"I have done research on these... 'video games.' They're meant to be fun, right? You don't look like you're having fun." he says, with that little, cute, iconic pout upon his facial features.
"Ah... Hahah, Its just because I lost a game." You explain, holding the controller in your hand. "Not a big deal."
He looks you up and down, then at the screen, which still displayed the game over menu, with "DEFEAT" in big bold letters in the corner of the screen.
"May I try these video games, sunshine? Maybe not this one, but I'd like to... play with you." He asks, as he sits down beside you.
"Oh, sure! I got a game you might like." You smiled at him, standing up and switching out the game disk. You put in 'Minecraft'. You also handed him a controller. He looks at the controller like its some kind of alien technology.
"What? You don't know how a controller works?" You ask him.
"No. It took me a while to even work a computer... let alone program that chat room..." He crosses his arms.
"Well, no shit. Programming takes a ton of time." You replied, as you booted up the game. "I'll show ya how it works, just watch me!" you wink at him, he blushes at that.
After a while, Casper seems to get the idea of the controls and how to play. He even builds a nice dirt house for you and puts your Minecraft beds together. How romantic of him..
"...Sunshine." he begins, looking down at the controller.
"Hm?" you hum in curiousity.
"May we... play together more often? I find it.... fun... playing with you." he answers, turning his head away from you, perhaps to hide his very noticeable blush. You chuckle softly, which confuses him slightly.
"Of course we can! I'd love to play with you more often, Casper.~" you smile, giving him a little kiss on his cheek. He melts instantly, so much so, he's like a snowball in the summer. The two of you then continue playing until nightfall, playing different games each time, you always showed him the ropes, and he got used to it right away. Eventually, though... you fall asleep. Casper doing the same on your shoulder.

the other woman: part two; mingyu x fem!reader
request: Hey do you write seventeen angst? Idk if you are still doing requests but I was hoping you can write a dramatic angst using either Joshua, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Mingyu, or Minghao, Vernon but two of them as leads. Idk why I’m a sucker for cliche stuff like cheating or betraying kind of stuff and a touch of sadness.
synopsis: you're married to wonwoo, but his parents desperately wants him to have a child - which you cannot have. he gives into his parents wishes and meets the other woman, whom he eventually agrees to marry as well. you're left heartbroken for a few years, seeing the man you love build a family that you had always wanted, but happiness is on the horizon as you meet someone new.
a/n: i decided to make part two slightly shorter, and later post a part three! my computer is slightly broken and it’s very hard to write. i still wanted to update the story, so you’re going to have to deal with slightly shorter and more parts :))
cw: slight bit of angst
genre: fluff, found family
word count: -
read part one first!

when you got home that evening, you didn't know whether you should cry or shout out of happiness. all of these random occurrences really made you believe in destiny. to celebrate, you took a hot shower and made yourself a gourmet dinner, in the form of your favorite instant ramen, only to sit down on the couch to watch some bad show on netflix. you were in the middle of a bite when you got a call. the caller-ID was unknown, but you already knew who it was. you quickly turned off the volume on the TV and put the bowl of noodles on the coffee table. "hello?", you answered. "hi, it's mingyu.. is this y/n?", he asked. "it is", you chuckled nervously, "hi." "i just put the girls to bed and... i just wanted to make sure you didn't give me a fake number.", he let out a small laugh. "mingyu, i'm really sorry about walking out on you.", you sighed. "no, i get it - you had your reasons.", he said, "it's not like i was being very nice by not letting you in on the fact that i have kids." "well, we didn't really spend much time talking...", you muttered, and succeeded in making mingyu laugh. "no, you're right. we should meet up again sometime." "we definitely should.", you bit your lower lip to contain your happiness, "maybe for a coffee or something? so that we could actually get to know each other." "that'd be fun.", he said, "i'll have to look in my schedule, i've been pretty busy lately." "oh, is that why your parents are picking up ji-u and ari?", you asked before thinking. "yeah..", he sighed, "i'd love to do it myself, but i almost never have the time. being a single dad is difficult." "i could imagine.", you hummed, "but if it helps, your daughters think the world of you." "thanks, y/n.", you could hear that he was smiling, "i'll try to pick them up more often... are you always there for pick up?" "don't try to change your schedule to come and see me while i'm at work.", you chuckled. "you caught me..", he said. "... i'm in charge of ji-u and ari's class on all days except mondays.", you said, "and i'll be there for their school play next week too." "shit, i forgot about the school play.", he groaned, "you know what? i'll make time for it - i just have to make a few calls..." "i'm sure they'll be very pleased if you show up.", you said with a smile, "those girls have worked extra hard, from what i've heard." you heard a young girl's voice in the background, crying. "sorry, y/n, ari's had a nightmare.", he sighed, "i'll see you soon." "don't forget about the play.", you said. "i won't."

the next few days mingyu stopped by the school every afternoon to pick up his kids. he only missed it once, letting his parents go instead of him. you were always happy to see him when he arrived, and his smart daughters had taken note of it.
everybody had left the classroom, except for ji-u and ari as usual. you were keeping the busy with painting, when you noticed an unusual detail in ji-u's painting. "what are you making, ji-u?", you asked her. "a family portrait.", she said. you looked at the drawing, consisting of four people; two children and a couple. the twins had never met their birth mom, mingyu told you that she had died after giving birth, but there was a woman on the painting. you started internally freaking out, what if ji-u could see the ghost of her mother? there had been many movies made about children seeing ghosts. what if they were actually real? "oh... could you tell me who's who?", you asked carefully. "that's dad.", she pointed at the painting, "that's me and ari, and that's you." "me?", your face went red, "why am i in your family portrait, ji-u?" "because dad talks about you all the time.", ari said, showing you a similar family portrait, "and when dad comes to pick us up he always stays and talks with you." "you girls are attentive...", you muttered. "what does that mean?", ji-u asked. before you could say anything, mingyu knocked on the already opened door. he came in his usual fancy attire - which reminded you that you had yet to ask him what he does for a living. "gotta go, mom.", ari said and got out of her chair to run towards her dad. you looked over at mingyu, hoping that he hadn't heard what she had said, but of course he had. he opened his mouth to say something, and then quickly shut it again. ji-u and ari were gathering their things, and putting away any painting materials they had used. watching as mingyu approached you, you stood up without a second thought. "that happens all the time...", you laughed nervously. in truth, it had happened maybe once or twice this year - coming out of the mouths of tired first grade students. your third grade students normally didn't call you mom. "i'm really sorry, i think it's because they see us together so much and-" "it's because you keep talking about her at home.", ari said matter-of-fact, "she's like our mom now. she takes care of us when you aren't here, like a mom." mingyu's face and ears went red, as you looked over at him with a small smirk. "you talk about me, sir?", you teased. "maybe sometimes- you know, before they have to go to school i tell them to not cause any incidents for you.", he stammered out. "last night you asked if ms. y/l/n was sick.", ji-u said. "because you looked a bit tired.", he added, "and i care about this school's staff- as anyone should." "but you never talk about mr. hong.", ari said, "you only ask about ms. y/l/n." "alright girls, i think it's time for us to go home now.", mingyu said and tried to get them out the door. "but i want to stay with mom.", ari grinned widely, seemingly enjoying making her dad embarrassed. "well, i see where she gets her smile from.", you muttered. "i won't go if she doesn't.", ari folded her arms across her chest, and ji-u followed shortly. "girls, this is really inappropriate-" "i could go get something to eat right now...", you said, "you girls like cake, right?" the twins happily shouted yes. you looked over at mingyu, asking him if it was okay without speaking any words. he took a deep breath, and then nodded. "then let's go get some cake, ladies.", he said, and finally got the girls out of the classroom.
that's how you ended up in a cute little café, close to the school. you were sitting in a booth, as the twins happily ate their cake in front of you. "i got you a cappuccino, i hope that's fine.", mingyu said as he sat down next to you, placing two cups on the table. "more than fine, thank you.", you smiled at him, "... i can't believe i agreed to do this." "thank you, though.", mingyu took a sip of his coffee, "when ari has put her mind on something, she can't let it go." "i think it's a nice trait", you said, "and i can't be mad at her for finally getting me that coffee date with you." mingyu let out a soft chuckle. when you looked up from your drink, you could see the two young girls in front of you staring. "i'm glad that you can be our mom, ms. y/l/n.", ji-u said, "the other lady dad brought home wasn't as nice as you." other lady? you put down your cup and looked at mingyu, asking for an explanation with your gaze. "i was dating someone before i met you. that's pretty much why i was at the cabin in the first place.", he said and turned to the girls, "it isn't nice to talk about people behind their backs, okay? and ms. y/l/n isn't your mom." "why not?", ari asked. "... because...", he was struggling to get an answer, so you decided to help. "you know how when you like someone you... decide to become girlfriend and boyfriend?", you said and they both nodded, "okay, well - for adults there's a stage before that where we... basically get to know each other better by going out to do things." "like this?", ari asked. "... no, you usually spend time together alone.", you said and looked over at mingyu, "i haven't gotten to spend enough time with your dad." "then i think he needs to hurry up.", ji-u sighed. when you glanced over at mingyu, his face was as red as a tomato. suddenly, you understood why ari found it so fun to embarrass him. "yeah, he should hurry up.", you said with an innocent-looking smile, "but i'll forgive him because he's been so busy." "could he take you out to dinner tomorrow night, then?", mingyu asked. you looked over at the twins, who eagerly nodded yes. "sure, he could.", you said.
it was saturday evening, you were getting ready for dinner with mingyu. for a while you had been solely focusing on your work and a few netflix shows, but now you would finally get yourself out there. you decided to wear an old red dress, that was hanging in the back of your closet - barely ever used. mingyu said he would take you somewhere fancy, so you assumed it was the appropriate attire. for once, during these traumatic few years, you felt pretty, and subsequently happy. it wasn't right to base your happiness on your beauty, it would only end in catastrophe - but was it so wrong to feel glee over getting ready and genuinely liking what the mirror showed you? after spending months contemplating whether your ex-husband picked someone else because they were just more beautiful, was it wrong to feel happy about feeling pretty? it could be debated whether it was good in the long run, or was only temporary happiness that could crash all too suddenly. even if it was bad for you, it felt nice and you were going to take advantage of it.
as you closed the apartment complex' door behind you, you heard someone saying your name. when you turned around, mingyu was standing at the end of the street. "good evening.", you said with a small, slightly shy, smile. "hi...", he was drinking you up with his eyes, "you look absolutely stunning." his words made you feel giddy, the kind of feeling you get when you watch a very romantic movie with a handsome lead. "i thought i would dress up a bit for our first date", you remarked and nervously added, "and you look handsome, by the way." he was dressed to the nines, as usual, in his suit and tie. "thank you.", he snickered, "my daughters said i looked like i was going to work." "well, i don't mind a man in uniform.", you teased. the two of you stood there, staring at each other. there was no awkwardness, only deep-rooted romantic tension. he took your hand in his. then, he suddenly pulled a face as if he remembered something important. "shit, there's a cab down the street waiting for us!", he laughed, "let's go."
.⋆。⋆☂˚。⋆。˚☽˚。⋆.
the evening started out with drinks. as you had expected, the restaurant he took you to was fancy. you had been to these kind of places before, but it had been a while - and you had never been to this particular place. mingyu ordered the two of you white wine, to which you got a salmon appetizer to start with. it looked too pretty to be eaten, and it almost hurt to cut into. "it's been so long since i haven't just eaten instant ramen in my pajamas for dinner...", you muttered, only loud enough for mingyu to hear. "then we should make the most of this.", he chuckled and brought up his wine glass towards you, "cheers?" you put down your utensils, hiding your smile by gently tucking your bottom lip between your teeth. as you brought up your glass to meet his, mingyu gently touched his glass to yours - creating a cute "ding" sound. he brought his as you did the same with yours. "i feel so fancy..", you muttered out with a giggle as you put down your glass. before mingyu could answer, the waiter came to take away the appetizer and bring the main course. your eyes widened at the sight of the food. you thanked the waiter, who then left the two of you to eat. mingyu was looking at you with a soft smile, and when you met his gaze he didn't look away. "do you want to go dancing after this?", he asked suddenly. "dancing?", you said, "if i can still walk after this meal, then yes. i'll go dancing with you." mingyu looked satisfied with your answer, and finally started eating.
you didn't back away from your promise, and after a fulfilling meal you decided to go dancing with him. to you, dancing was going to a club and getting out on the dance floor - but that's not entirely what mingyu meant. the cab was driving pretty far, to a part of the city where you hadn't been before. although, you did find it familiar. the buildings grew bigger and the architecture more detailed. you turned to mingyu, who was busy with looking at the buildings just like you. "i forgot to ask you where we're going.", you said, bringing him out of his trance. "just a small place that offers couple dancing.", he said, "i think you'll like it." couple dancing.. you hadn't danced like that since your wedding, and you definitely didn't remember how you did it. "i'm not sure i would be very good at it.", you said, suddenly very anxious. "it's alright.", he put his hand on top of yours, "i'm not very good either." "mingyu, that doesn't make me feel better.", you let out a small, nervous laugh, "if neither of us can dance, then why are we going?" "... because it gives me a reason to stay with you for a bit longer.", he admitted. you couldn't argue with that. leaving hm after dinner seemed all too soon, especially since you didn't know when his busy schedule would let you see him again. you turned your hand around, intertwining your fingers with his. "as long as you don't drop me or anything... i think i'll be fine, then.", you smiled.
the cab stopped outside a big, beautiful building, with music pouring out of every window. on a sign outside the door it said "foxtrot night". mingyu noticed how your eyes lingered on the sign. "do you know foxtrot?", he asked with a chuckle. "not one clue...", you said, "do you?" "a bit", he shrugged, "but not nearly enough." already being a bit drunk, all you could do was giggle at his statement - there wasn't the smallest bit of worry in your body anymore. your arm was secured around mingyu's, as he was leading you inside the building - having a quick word with one of the staff members to get you in a bit quicker. before you could question if that was the right thing to do, you saw the dancing hall. it was huge, decorated almost as detailed as a big european, catholic church. people were on the big floor, dancing, and others were sitting at the tables surrounding the area. the staff member mingyu had spoken briefly with was leading you to one of said tables, placed in a corner and far from any other table. "do you want anything to drink?", mingyu asked as he helped you sit down. "i don't think that i can dance if i drink any more than i already have.", you admitted. "a water, then?", he said with a small smile. "that'd be nice.", you nodded. you watched as he walked over the bar. the bartender looked confused, but quickly handed him two glasses of water before returning to his other customers.
after spending some time talking, and sobering up ever so slightly, you decided that it was time to try your best at dancing. just then, the song that was currently playing faded out, and frank sinatra started playing - what song you didn't know, you were all too focused on mingyu's hand on your waist. his hand was snug in yours as he lead you across the dance floor. he was right, he wasn't very good at this - but neither were you, so you couldn't really complain.
"i haven't danced in so long.", you said between laughter. "oh yeah? i couldn't tell.", mingyu teased, "you've only stepped on my feet four times already." "i said i was sorry.", you giggled, "and you're not a lot better, you almost made us crash into another couple before." "key word being almost, right?", he smiled. he looked down at you, and for a moment you got lost in his eyes. your hand gently moved on his shoulder - grazing his neck with your finger tips. mingyu squeezed your waist. for a moment, he was only a man - and not some big shot ceo, with the pressure of the company resting on his shoulders. his eyes took you back to those two weeks in the forest, a version of him that was much more laid back than what you had gotten used to after seeing him in a suit every day. in front of you was just a man with happiness and youth in his eyes, and nothing to lose. the song came to it's end, and he let go of you to bow down and gently kiss your hand. "thank you for the dance, sweetheart.", he said, his voice like honey. "you're very welcome.", you smiled.
the two of you went back to your table, resting your feet for the next song. mingyu had taken off his jacket, letting it hang on the back of the chair. his hair was slightly messy, from his hands running through it frequently, and his sleeves were rolled up to his elbows. your eyes couldn't leave the beautiful sight in front of you, and he was definitely aware of it. mingyu pulled his tie down ever so slightly, and unbuttoned the top button of his shirt. he leaned across the small table to push a few strands of hair away from your face. you felt your face heat up at his touch, and you were trying with every fiber of your being to not lean into his hand. "cute.", he said. "what?", you asked. "you're cute.", he leaned his elbow against the table and looked at you with loving eyes, "you were really confident back at the cottage, but now you get so flustered." you scoffed at his comment, despite knowing that it was kind of true. when you had met him the first time around, you had been in a bad place - with the mentality of having nothing to lose. now you actually wanted to make this work, and found yourself being extra careful about everything. "well, it's been a while since then.", you said as an excuse, "maybe i've just changed." "i don't think so", he smiled, "but i'll let you believe it, since i really like this side of you." the next song started playing, and before you could respond to his comment, mingyu was dragging you back out to the dance floor.
after the last song, you were getting very tired. without a second thought, mingyu offered to take you home. as you got outside, he was about to call a cab, but you stopped him. "could we just walk for a bit?", you asked, "i think i'm in need for some fresh air." that was a lie. in reality, you just wanted to find another excuse to spend a bit more time with him. mingyu gladly accepted anyway, and the two of you started to walk in the direction of your apartment. the plan was to walk as far as your legs could take you, and take a cab when it started getting a bit too much.
the stars were bright in this side of town, seeing as it was closer to the suburbs than the city. the lack of pollution also brought you fresh air. mingyu grabbed your hand, and suddenly the light from the street lamps and the dark blue sky started blending together in a beautiful waltz. you looked over at him. his hair was still messy, and his jacket was still off, hanging on his arm. you couldn't understand how he wasn't freezing to death, as you were. "are you cold?", he asked, seemingly reading your mind. "a little.", you responded. with a quick motion, he wrapped his jacket around your shoulders and went back to holding your hand. with your free hand, you pulled the jacket tighter around you - smiling as you felt his scent engulfing you. when you looked back up at mingyu, he was smiling. his golden skin seemed to glow in the light of the street lamps, and his eyes sparkled as if the stars had somehow fallen in there. when he looked down at you, you didn't avert your gaze. instead you wrapped your arm around his, letting go of his hand in order to close the proximity between you. his eyes never left yours, and as you were about to tell him just how happy you were that you had found him again, someone interrupted. "is that you mingyu?" you looked over to the source of the voice, seeing wonwoo. he was standing under the street light, just a few feet in front oof you. next to him stood his wife, holding her pregnant belly lovingly. you watched as mingyu let go of you, walking up to the man in front of you, and giving him a handshake. you were frozen in your place, and when wonwoo finally looked at you, you wanted to scream. he looked the same as he did when you had met him in the metro last week. "y/n?", he asked. you gave him a half-assed smile, and a greeting to him and his wife. mingyu looked back at you, then at wonwoo, and you could see the realization hit him. "oh wait, you're the mingyu that y/n's seeing?", wonwoo asked with a surprised smile, "what a small world, huh?" you had forgotten that you had lied to wonwoo that day in the metro, and now everything around you was crashing. luckily, mingyu didn't comment on it. you took a better look at wonwoo, noticing his daughter in his arms. she was fast asleep, as wonwoo held her close to his chest. you suddenly remembered, a long time ago, that wonwoo had told you of a kim mingyu - the ceo of a rivalling company. the fact that you hadn't puzzled it together yet was embarrassing. you also realized why the neighborhood was so familiar. the jeon family didn't post many pictures of their neighborhood at night, but you should've realized anyway. you watched as the two men spoke with each other, never really listening and wishing that you could melt into the concrete ground below you.
as they left you muttered out a weak good-bye. they got into wonwoo's car and drove off to the suburbs near by. you were left standing there, looking after a car that wasn't even visible any more. mingyu wrapped his arms around your shoulders, hugging you from behind, and you carefully leaned into him. "so that's the guy?", he muttered. "it is.", you said, "isn't she beautiful?" "who? gyeong-hui?" "no.. the baby.", you felt your eyes tearing up, "even when she was sleeping, she looked like a bundle of joy." mingyu was quiet, but he hugged you a bit closer to his chest. you wiped away a tear from your cheek before it could fall to the ground. you wanted to hate that child, along with gyeong-hui, but you couldn't. gyeong-hui seemed to be kind, the type of woman that wonwoo's family would definitely approve of, and the child was... well, you couldn't bring yourself to hate a child in the first place. moreover, the way that wonwoo held the baby so protectively made you think of the family you really wanted. you were jealous, but more so confused - how could you still feel love for him? the years you spent together obviously can't just disappear from your memory, but did they have to be so persistent? "i hope they're happy.", you got out of his grip, "i'm really sorry mingyu, but could you call that cab now?" "of course, of course.", mingyu got his phone out of the pocket of his trousers. you wanted to ask him about his relationship to wonwoo, but it wasn't the right time to do so. instead, you gathered yourself and got ready to pretend like nothing happened. mingyu put his phone back in his pocket. "they'll be here shortly.", he said, "do you want to talk about... what happened?" "hm? what happened?", it didn't cross your mind that he might want to hear about it, "it's alright, nothing happened." mingyu grabbed your hands in his, gently tracing small figures on the back of your hand with one of his thumbs. you looked up at him, meeting his gaze. he looked a bit worried, but put on a warm smile. "it's not fun meeting someone from the past. especially if they treated you poorly.", he said, "if you don't want to talk about it, i don't mind, but you should know that i'm really sorry for putting you in that situation. had i known i wouldn't-" "it's alright, mingyu.", you said with a reassuring smile, "you didn't know." the two of you stood there, still holding each others hands. you felt yourself relax again, but you hadn't even realized that you were tense in the first place. after a moment of nothing but silence and warm smiles, mingyu spoke again. "so do you mind telling me why jeon wonwoo seems to know about us?". he grinned. "i told him i was seeing someone new when i met him at the metro a week or so ago.", you admitted with a sigh, "i don't know why i said your name... i'm sorry." "it's alright, i don't mind him thinking that.", he said, "and if you want me to never mention it again, i won't." you gave him a a small, crooked, smile - you probably looked like a mess by now but, by the look in mingyu's eyes, he didn't seem to mind. he took away one of his hands from yours, and reached for your face, gently cupping your cheek.
by the time you got home that night, you had partially forgotten about wonwoo. mingyu made sure to get you happy and smiling brightly again, even if it was just for a short cab ride. as you left the car, you felt like the sun was perched on your shoulders - warmth spreading through your body, and light emitting from your smile. "goodnight, sweetheart.", mingyu said from inside the cab. you were leaning against the open door. he had tried to get outside the car to say goodbye, but you assured him that it wasn't necessary. as you handed him his jacket, he put his hand on yours and gently tugged at you to lean further down. "would it be very inappropriate of me to kiss you right now?", he asked quietly, "because i would really like to, but only if you feel-" you broke the distance, and before he could say another word kissed him quickly. when you leaned back up mingyu's eyes were still closed. "thank you for tonight.", you said, "i really needed a night out." "anything for you.", he said without thinking, only realizing the meaning of the words after he spoke them. he cleared his throat and turned away from you to hide his flustered face. the cab driver asked if he was going to have to wait there all night, in a half-joking manner, and mingyu quickly apologized. "goodnight, mingyu.", you said with a small, teasing grin. "i'll see you soon.", he answered.

I feel like I've probably shared this before, but it was in my Unfinished Torchwood folder so I thought I'd share it today, even if it is again. If I didn't ever post it, I wonder why; if I did, my apologies for the double post, but it's cute and it was fun to edit since it's been a year and a half since I did any real writing. Enjoy! And maybe I'll work on some more of the stuff in my unfinished folder!
Don't get mad, get even
"So, how did the rest of the night go?" Owen asked from his station, his feet on the desk as he twirled a pen in the air and smirked. "You score?"
"Do you really want to know?" Ianto asked in return, turning around on his own chair and giving Owen a skeptical look.
"Not particularly," Owen replied. "Not at all, actually. Don't know why I even asked. Only you two are so strange sometimes…" He trailed off, chewing on the end of the pen, shaking his head.
"I'm sure I'm going to regret this, but what was so strange about last night?" Ianto braced himself for some intense piss-taking from the doctor, who seemed to delight in it more and more the longer they worked together.
"You and Jack," Owen said. "If Tosh hadn't walked in on you snogging in the tourist office a few weeks ago, no one would ever know you were shagging again. It's like a classified secret or something."
"Maybe we’re simply more private," Ianto suggested. "And professional."
"You're something," Owen said, shaking his head again. "Here we are, hitting the pub after work to celebrate the end of the longest week ever, and you two are still playing at Jeeves and Wooster. You can be a bit more casual after hours, you know."
"And you want me to—what? Feed him chips when we're out in public? Hold hands and whisper in his ear?" Ianto asked. "Stick my tongue down his throat and put on a good show?"
"Oh my god, you're going to make my brain bleed," Owen complained. "I'm just saying, if you're sleeping together, you can act like it. We all know now."
"We do act like it, Owen," Ianto replied, turning back to his computer. "When we're alone and we’re—"
"Don’t say it."
"But you thought it."
"Sod off."
"You brought it up, Owen." Ianto is still not sure why, though.
"And I'm not done. You flirt and joke, but Jack does that with dead trees. You don't hold hands, don't dance or kiss or make googly eyes—"
"I'm not sure Jack knows how to make googly eyes," Ianto said, holding back a grin at the thought of Jack with some sort of vapid love-sick look on his face. "He is well over a hundred and fifty years old."
"Wow, only six times older than you," Owen drawled. "Way to bag 'em, grave robber."
"He's immortal, Owen," Ianto replied, and this time he did turn around and grin. "Age is a meaningless number to him. But experience—experience makes all the difference in the world." He let his gaze go distant as he thought about some of the experiences Jack had shared with him. “And Jack has experience.”
"I am so done with this conversation," Owen grumbled.
"What, the one you started?"
"I'm finishing it. Go file some paperwork or something."
"But I didn't answer your question," Ianto said. He had to admit, he was having too much fun with Owen to stop now. Plus, he did have some gossip, of a sort.
"I don't want to know if you scored anymore, unless you both picked up a bird and—"
"Nope, not that," Ianto interrupted quickly. "But the rest of the night was interesting. And not in a tawdry way," he added.
Owen was quiet. He threw his pen in the air a few times, spun around in his chair, blew out a breath, and turned back to Ianto. "Now it's my turn to regret asking, but how so? Something happen after I left?"
"Jack got pissed," Ianto told him, lowering his voice as he glanced back at Jack's office. "Completely shit-faced blitzed."
Owen looked confused. "What?"
"He was loud and laughing, extremely handsy, and stumbling around. I even had to help him," Ianto cleared his throat, "with his trousers. In the loo."
"I bet you did," Owens smirked. "And I bet he loved that."
"Actually, I'm not sure he remembers," Ianto replied thoughtfully. "He practically passed out on the way home. I half carried him up to my flat—it was like wrangling an octopus—and put him to bed only for him to jump up and run for the bathroom. Ten minutes later and the octopus was back. He slept straight through 'till morning."
Owen was giving him a very strange look, both amused and disgusted. "And let me guess, you made him toast and brought him some paracetamol with your best coffee in the morning?"
"Well, yes," said Ianto, feeling defensive. "He's actually done the same thing for me."
Owen shook his head and started laughing. "Ianto, you do know that Jack can't get drunk, right?"
"Of course he can," Ianto replied. "I've seen him drink many times."
"And have you ever seen him stumbling drunk?" Owen asked.
"Well, no, not since we've been….you know," Ianto answered. "Why do you think he can't get drunk?"
"Because he told me," Owen replied smugly. "After my first really bad case, we went out to some skivvy bar to put it behind us, and although I don’t remember everything from that night, I do remember Jack being perfectly fine to drive my arse home because, as he put it, 'I can't get drunk.'"
"That's ridiculous." And yet, Ianto had a bad feeling that Owen was right. He couldn't actually remember seeing Jack drunk before, or hungover, and he'd definitely seen Jack drink before. And Jack had been dramatically over the top last night, as well exceptionally quick to recover that morning.
"That's what I thought,” Owen said. “He told me then, and he'd probably tell me now, that he metabolizes alcohol too fast for it to affect him that much. He's never been a big drinker, but I've seen him put down a fair few. He might get a little loose, but that's not hard for Jack." He sniggered and continued. "My guess is it has something to do with his immortality. He literally burns up the alcohol before the rest of us have finished our first pint. Sort of like how he never gets sick either."
"He told me last weekend that his allergies were bothering him!" Ianto exclaimed. "I made us soup for dinner." He stood up, took a step toward Jack's office, then turned back, staring at Owen. "Are you serious? He really wasn't drunk last night?"
"I think you've been had, mate," Owen told him, and he actually sounded like he felt bad for Ianto.
"I can't believe he'd do that," Ianto muttered. "What the hell was the point?"
"Who knows how his warped brain works," Owen told him, then motioned him closer. "But may I suggest not getting mad, but getting even?"
Ianto glanced back at Jack's office, still tempted to storm in and give Jack a piece of his mind before cutting him off from coffee and sex for the rest of the week. It was only Thursday; Ianto could survive, but he knew it would be rough punishment for Jack. Then he glanced back at Owen.
"Any ideas?" he asked.
"Not yet, but between the two of us, we should be able to come up with something good." Owen grinned as he stood up. "Come on. A pint on me to ease your sorrows while we plot."
Ianto couldn't help but grin back with a nod. "I think we can come up with something not just good, but brilliant," he said. He grabbed his coat from nearby and headed out the cog door with Owen, a dozen different ideas already plotting through his head.
Jack might not be able to get drunk, but he wouldn't know what hit him when Ianto was done with him.

It’s your favourite (and only to my knowledge) moose annon!! I’m back! I have some random questions you can choose to answer:
1) how are you
2) what’s your opinion on sausage dogs
3) if you could do one thing right now, what would you do?
4) who’s your least favourite Harry Potter character?
5) if you could pick one marauder to battle in the back of a Greggs, who would it be?
Thank you for Moose’s random questions, with Moose. -🫎
Hey darling Moose!
I'm great! Thanks for asking. The godawful flu I had is finally gone and I'm feeling like new. Also, my new computer (got it as a Christmas gift) just arrived and I'm super hyper to use it for writing even more of GC, the screen's a lot bigger than my current PC so my eyes love it. How are you? It's been a while since I've heard from you.
Umm.. they're adorable, though a little fierce. My uncle has one of them, and he has lots of energy, loves getting balls thrown at him and fetching them. I must admit I'm a cat person (because they require less care) but if I could have a dog, I'd get a huge black dog. Bet ya'll can guess why.
Right at this instant? What are my parameters? Does it have to be realistic? Because if it does not, can I be snogging Sirius somewhere? Now, if it does have to be realistic, I'd like to be eating something tasty, I'm rather hungry atm.
Dolores and Peter. Silly because I actually kind of like the Peter I've created on GC, but his treason is still something I'm not over yet. But yeah, those are definitely the characters I dislike the most.
Omg, this requires analyzing actually... because I mean, again what are my parameters? For example:
Remus wouldn't hit a woman, so I'd be in advantage. But then, if for some storage reason, he didn't care about that, then I would easily be fucked by trying to fight Mr. Werewolf strength / tallest marauder (and probably the strongest one too).
Sirius might be skinny, but something tells me an angry Sirius would beat the shit out of me just as well as Rem could, perhaps I'd come out a little less scuffed, but let's be honest, If either of the two actually wanted to beat me up, I wouldn't stand a chance. Having said that, I think fighting Sirius would be fun because if it's like a sexy fight with sexual tension. Think black widow, knifes on throats, that kind of thing, I'm so IN!
James is another marauder I'd be a little terrified of battling on a fistfight, first, the boy plays quidditch, he can definitely beat the shit out of me. Second, he gives me playful Peter Parker, jokes when he fights vibes, which is super cool, as long as you're not the one being punched.
And lastly, Peter. I think, if we're talking about a clean fistfight, it's here where I would stand the best chances. Not because I think I'm stronger than Peter, like hell nah, but because I think I could outwit him. Especially if this is a no-magic universe and he can't just Avada me in three seconds like he did to Cedirc.
Now, even if I could actually win a fight against Peter, I think ultimately I'd pick Sirius, for two simple reasons, he's probably less strong than James and Remus and he'd definitely be the kind to flirt-fight. Even if he didn't, I'd rather be punched by him than Peter so...
Yes, I am a simp.

Under My Thumb - Chapter 1
Tumblr media
summary: it all has to start somewhere. in this story, a radio station.
warnings: fully ignoring his dating history. aka they don't exist in MY fictional universe. 😤 oh yeah, i'm going there. besides shaky historical accuracy, no warnings...so far...
+++
Year: 2011
You and whoever you'll end up with share a place under the same sun. They're never that far away.
But I was beginning to come to the conclusion that I was going to marry my job. It just wasn't in the cards to try and find The One. And that was fine by me.
I was working in the sales department of a rock radio station in LA at the time. I was always busy putting out some sort of metaphorical fire in the back offices. Even at home, I was responding to emails or taking calls. Dealing with brand politics was soul-sucking, but I liked the music they played. So all in all it was fine. I was only 21, after all.
The station had a pretty popular morning talk show. Something 9 to 5ers could put on while sitting in standstill traffic on the 405 to make their lives feel less meaningless. I enjoyed listening to it when I first moved to LA, so when I saw the job posting, I said 'fuck it.'
The morning show always had cool guests on. I enjoyed peering over into the studio space to see which up-and-comer they had on that day.
I'm not exaggerating when I say they had everyone on the show. Comedians, actors, bands, some busker off the street. Whatever it took to fill air time, I guess.
I wasn't unhappy, just busy. Well, come to think of it, I actually think I was in denial about how unhappy I truly was.
It's a hard city to try to make friends in. As busy as I was, I still had too much free time on my hands. I'd go home to my empty apartment and watch Criminal Minds on DVD until my eyes bled.
My parents begged me to come home. I was their one and only and I flew the nest. I was starting to not hate the idea of going home, though. I was so fucking lonely.
+
It was November.
It was the daily routine of dealing with unhappy sponsors and trying not to scream when I decided to walk over to the studio space. I needed any distraction to keep myself from killing the next person who called me to curse me out about how they hated the ad we produced for them.
I had been listening to the station from my desk and heard the hosts talking up their next guest. Some guy who was in a horror show, or something.
I have a mind for the disgusting, twisted, and insane. Watching horror movies is my coping mechanism. I can only truly relax when I was watching something that would make most people's skin crawl.
I was itching for some new content, though, and this American Horror Story show sounded just twisted enough for me. I figured, why not get a look at this guy?
The cold air of the studio's lounge hit me like a ton of bricks as I headed down the corridor. They kept it cold intentionally, that way the equipment wouldn't overheat. I personally couldn't stand it, though. the interns would bring blankets to wrap themselves in as they did their work. Not a bad idea by any means, but if I tried that I was sure I'd fall asleep or something. Instead, I simply dressed in layers. Even in the dead of summer, I'd wear sweaters to work.
All of that aside, I always loved the hustle and bustle of the area. There were producers and interns buzzing about, grabbing guests, creating scripts, and running to the printers. It was much more fun to regard than the surroundings at my desk. Bored sales reps and their coffee mugs. Spreadsheets and computer screens.
This was more my speed.
I would get away with taking up space in the area by claiming I was there to 'hear the ads,' in order to 'check the quality.' In reality, I couldn't give two shits.
I kept my head down as I walked to find a seat in an attempt to not get noticed for wasting space in the small area.
That was until I collided with someone's chest.
'Fuck. Shit. Fuck I- I'm sorry,'
'Damn, I'm so sorry. Fuck.'
Mine and the stranger's voices overlapped. Both of us feverishly apologizing
I looked up into a pair of the deepest brown eyes I'd ever seen.
'Shit sorry,' I stammered, 'I should pay more attention to where I'm walking in here.' My cheeks flushed red.
'No it's my bad, I wasn't paying attention either,' he laughed.
'I'm just gonna g- go over there or something,' I breathed, casting my eyes downward and pointing my thumb in the direction of...well, nothing. Just anywhere to get out of that situation.
Nice job, Y/N, I thought. Making yourself look like a fool in front of one of the most attractive people you've ever seen.
He was really good-looking. His mess of curly hair cascaded down and framed his face angelically as he looked at me. His smile made his eyes wrinkle in the corners, making clear to me that he must have smiled a lot. He was just tall enough that he had to look down to make eye contact with me. My stomach flipped inside out as I looked into his eyes. I only regarded him for a second, but it felt like eons. Time almost slowed to a stop.
Snapping out of it, I put proverbial blinders on and found myself the nearest couch to sit on and hang my head in shame.
The last time I felt that strongly about a person upon first sight was when I saw a girl with bright orange hair in a Starbucks when I first moved to LA. She had the coolest eye makeup on and her lips made me feel funny inside. I had never seen a person that cool before in my life. I felt like it was love at first sight. But then I never saw her again.
This, however, was way different. It felt like angels came down from heaven and sang to me when he looked into my eyes.
My world seemed to cave in even further when I saw him turn and be led into the morning show studio. He was the guest, and I just embarrassed myself, and the studio.
The interview went well. He talked a lot about how freaky the show is. I was actually kind of excited to watch it. He also spoke about his favorite music, something the show asked about a lot. It made my insides feel funny. He had the same taste in music as me.
He walked out and looked around until he met my eyes. Setting his sights on me, he made his way over to the couch I resigned myself to.
'Hey, sorry about earlier again,' Evan said. 'I'm a big old clutz.' He chuckled.
'No, I- I'm,' I started. I was promptly interrupted by his hand in my face, handing me a piece of paper.
'Call me sometime,' he whispered. And with that, he was gone.

Digimon 02 the beginning review:
it was a fun time. I had to take Uber and the fare was rather expensive after it was all said and done. But it was worth it. The Uber driver ended up being the same person there and back! He was a gaming nerd and enjoyed anime too. Theater experience was good too. Got some yummy chocolate peanuts and even extra card packs after the movie.
Tumblr media
Now my thoughts on the movie. I’ll be putting all spoilers under the read more.
The banter between daisuke and miyako never gets old lol
Rui sounds so dang emo telling the others it's his problem and blah blah blah
Rui does says he thinks he is the first in the sub. WHich people can play around with if he really was the first or not. I still think Rui was a chosen child that just didn't realize that other chosen existed. and the digital world wasn't aware of it because Rui never went to the digital world.
Hawkmon flocking in front of Rui was hilarious. Looked like a real bird being obnoxious.
...until hawkmon actually knocked the eyepatch off showing the creepy digimon eye!
When it shows Daisuke holding Rui's hand and assuring him to let them help... I can't help but to notice how short Rui is. Holy cow
Daisuke encouraging Rui's recklessness is sure something lol
Daisuke suggesting if they fly on Imperialdramon fast enough, the humans won't see them. Reminds me of the naruto meme at area 51 XXD “ they can’t hit us if we run fast enough”
RUi running towards lil' Rui and Ukkomon gives Magica Madoka vibes with Homura trying to stop madoka from being a magical girl.
Miyako's light tinted glasses during the computer scene. Haha “all according to keikaku!”
Hikari does indeed say homeostatsis in the japanese version! tri. is Canon folks.
"Ukkomon is a special Digimon..." Heard that one before o_o;;
In the Ukkomon and Rui meeting, Rui accidentally says Unkkomon. Unko being poop in Japanese. Sadly a funny joke lost in translation.
Some wondered if the bruises are actual physical bruises... Rui covers his head. I'd say he does get hit from time to time...
When the characters are talking about the bonds with their Digimon and having to work through conflicts, it really reminded me of part 5 when they tell Meiko the same thing. Kind of nice to get a 02 version of that.
I had to hide my face from the body horror shit. THe eye. Rui's eye. GAPING HOLE IN UKKOMON'S HEAD. Just transferring an eye like it's nothing. This isn't Naruto! That's not how it works!
I had a feeling Hikari said more of "That poor thing" about ukkomon. It feels different actually watching the movie with context than reading other reviews. Hikari could just felt all it wanted to do was make Rui happy.
When Ukkomon goes big, it sings the creepiest happy birthday. Geeeez
I saw a lot of reviews saying the characcters didn't get anything and they were just there. I think they got some nice character moments. THe back and forth about killing Ukkomon for example. It's the 02 kids and they are older now. Their issues are going to be more to the point. It was still good to see. I think the movie did a really good job with that. Despite what people think.
Just a small amount of Kenyako. It made me happy.
Miyako's Bingo!
Loved the 6 way evo. Just cool to see. Glad we got to see their evolutions.
I can't get over Takeru driving a CAR. He drives and Hikari sits up front. The other two in back while Daisuke, Ken, and Rui rode on Imperialdramon. It's just an amusing image. I can't get over it.
There are many shots of this giant digimon eye sticking out of Rui's small head. It creeps me out and they show it a lot.
THe animation for the fights are so dang good. Reviews did not overexaggerate that fact.
I may need to rewatch 02, but where do Daisuke and Ken hang out on fighter mode? I know it's on the back usually but... Also really cool how the inside of Imperialdramon looks like a command room. Really cool..
HAH THE FLIRTING REMARK. Made me smile. *sighs* even after all these years.. It's still just them.
The zoom in on Rui's face and that eye. Wny...
Even as Rui and Ukkomon talk.. the comical eye is there...
The snow fight was gorgeous and fun little moments too. Seeing the international kids all grown up is wonderful. We even see Rosa! Which I think is fantastic.
I was pretty happy with this movie. I don’t think i need a grand series like tri. To flash characters out. They’ve all had their moments in various ways.

Thank you for @juliabachelor tagging me^^
1. What's your favorite sims death?- I like the death by ranting in The Sims 3. I find it funny that Grim is pissed off about sims talking shit about em, and makes them die and come back to life as a warning. If you do it again within 12 hours or a day he will take the sim's soul. My guy can't handle criticism. Imagine dying because you talked shit about the reaper
2. Alpha CC or Maxis Match?- I like both. At first I started with Alpha CC, but then I've been leaning more into Maxis match side of CC
3. Do you cheat when your sims gain weight?- Nope, I believe in putting in the work to getting the body you want
4. Do you use move objects?- Yep, never not used it
5. Favorite Mod?- I like any mods that give the game more realistic feeling. I like pregnancy mods so there's more to the pregnancy like ultrasound. I also like mods where they have story progression with Sims that you are not playing so there's stuff for them to do
6. First game/expansion/stuff pack you own?- So I'm going to be a little extra rn, and talk about which pack I got for each game in the first ever game I got in the series. I was renting the console versions before I got my hands on one of the pc versions (Back then my family was more into consoles). The first ever game i got in the series was the Sims 2 for PS2. As for the main series on pc, I got the Sims 3. For 3, I actually got two packs at the same time. I got the Sims 3 supernatural and pets for christmas. A couple years later my grandma got me the Sims, and all it's packs from either a yard sale or thrift store. I think the first one I downloaded onto my computer was livin large. A year or two later I got the Sims 4 and for that one, I got one of those bundles for discs. It was the spa day and perfect patio bundle. Lastly, when I got the Sims 2, I think for that one I got freetime first
7. Do you pronounce live mode aLIVE or LIVing?- Just aLIVE
8. Who's your favorite sim that you've made?- I think One of them was named Miyah Bloodbore. She's a half human half vampire sim that tries to control her urges to bite sims. I'll draw her sometime in the future
9. Have you made a simself before?- I used to back when I was a fetus, but now I cringe at the idea of making myself in anything
10. What sim traits do you give yourself?- The ones I'd have now would be Socially awkward, Neurotic, Artistic, Brooding, and Clumsy
11. Which one is your favorite EA hair color?- I don't have a favorite
12. Favorite EA hair?- I don't have a favorite for this one either
13. Favorite life stage?- Adult
14. Are you a builder, or are you into the gameplay?- I'm both. When I started playing the game, I was more into gameplay. Over the years I have gone into building. But sometimes it does depend on the mood I'm in, Sometimes I'd rather build a house then play the game lol
15. Are you a CC creator?- Nope, but it would be cool to try through
16. Do you have any sim friends or a sim squad? I think everyone here in the Sims community is lovely and I would love to be pals with y'all. I do have real life friends that also enjoy the series
17. What's your favorite game out of the series?- this might be a little surprising considering I never really talk about this one, but my favorite one out of the main four is Sims 3. Sims 2 is fun to play, but Sims 3 gives me so much nostalgia. I played that one the most out of all four, yeah it's not perfect but I still enjoy playing the game. Also the color wheel, and open world, how I miss it
18. Do you have any sims merch?- Nope, but I would like to make some since I made a Tycho charm several months ago
19. Do you have a youtube channel for sims?- Nope, but I used to watch a lot of Sims gameplay
20. Who's your favorite CC creator?- I have so many favorites I can't pick just one! One of the creators I get CC from the most is RavenSim
21. How has your sim style changed throughout the years?- It has changed a lot. I used to be those summers that would make the perfect life for sims. But now whatever happens, happens and I just roll with it
22. What's your Origin/EA ID?- Hilmouse08
23. How long have you had a simblr?- I've had this account for several years. Since becoming a simblr, it's been several months
24. How do you edit your photos?- I use photoshop, for lately I've been wanting to try reshades
25. What expansion do you want next?- I want that damn horse pack, or maybe something with fairies. Also maybe not a new pack, but fix or add more to packs that already exist like they did for spa day
Again, I'm very bad with tagging people. I really don't know who to tag. So if you're reading this and have not done this yet, you have been tagged 🫵

Gorillas and the New Year (Plus Price Increases)
Wow we made it to the end of 2023! Somehow...! Barely maybe for some of us.
For me it's been a lot of climbing out of the rat bucket I found myself in last year and the first half of this year. Maybe a little beyond that. I feel like now with college on the horizon, I'm just starting to be able to reach the rim of said bucket. It's been very hard and challenging, but honestly, probably necessary if I was ever going to start breaking any unhealthy cycles in preparation for my new upcoming school years.
This is the last chance I get to actually form some kind of career, something I didn't think I'd ever care about because I was always so willing to throw in the towel, and for a multitude of reasons. I've talked about it before in other posts, my lack of confidence that I was ever smart enough or like...good enough for anything beyond art... and this isn't a dig at art. But I've just had this whole self discovery thing all year where I'm realizing a career in art is not for me. I've been doing this for ten years now, maybe a little less but let's round up, and it's taken me all this time to realize as much. Unfortunately, I just had to go through it in order to realize as much, but it wasn't all bad. I made a ton of friends through it, I got my first full time job from it and gained much, I was able to buy my first car with it, a whole lot of firsts happened because of my skill in art. Not that it's like...spectacular or anything but I'm pretty proud of how far I've come. I don't know where I'll end up with my style, as I want to keep drawing as a hobby, but it's fun seeing it evolve year after year slowly into something I really dig.
Got a little off topic, but yes. So there's been that whole battle, along with the other side of it where I still worry if I'll be able to succeed in this Computer Science path I've chosen. I've met a lot of nay-sayers and doomspeakers about it, but I suppose that's the way it is with near everything. After all, -I've- turned into a doom speaker about an artistic career too. It's hard not to keep that to myself sometimes, only because I just don't want people to end up in the same dead end hole as I have where you can't advance your job anywhere, and you don't have a degree so people are even less willing... Gosh I feel like I've ended up turning into my parents in a way, they're the same. Harsh but fueled by concern. I come off that way a lot unintentionally and I feel bad about it. So I'm trying to combat. It's ...well it's going. It's my whole personality at this point lol.
So there's been those angles, there's been a lot of social changes in my life in regards to who I put my time into and what and where. It's gone pretty good on that front. I'm setting boundaries harder than I ever was before, and even then I'm still a bit shaky on things, but I've got what I call an obsessive mind, so if I don't do anything to help myself, then I'll be ruminating on shit I don't like for the rest of my college years, and perhaps life. And that's definitely not what I need right now. I gotta bring my A game to this and really put my neck out there if I want to succeed like a normal person lol (or whoever those go-getters are called. Something I am definitely not by heart.)
Started playing D&D 5e for the first time with my friends and honestly that's been like the top point of my year. I've been wanting to play for so long but things just never panned out or were a good time for it, and I was scared by all the numbers. I have gotten over my fear of numbers for now by scoring so well on that placement test earlier this year, so lol! Whatever it takes. I just really miss having some kind of group thing to look forward to weekly or maybe every 2 weeks, or whatever the case. Feels good when you feel like you belong somewhere, or people are looking forward to the same stuff you are. Always nice.
And I've started some new RP storylines with people I've known a long time, and unearthed some old ones that had been on hiatus for yeaarss, so that's also been really nice and exciting as well! Sure we're not all glued to the screen 24/7 anymore like when we were younger, but just a little fiction break in between life stuff happening is so welcome. I've been having a super hard time getting this 'escaping-life-through-fiction' thing I have under control, and I won't say that it is.... but it's considerably shifted into RL has taken priority over computer. Which, yes, good. Not that I ever had a problem with -that-. I knew it would be like this when I wasn't working. When I -am- working again though, I won't be so worried. I'll always care more about my irl job than silly things going on online, which is the goal I'd like to reach eventually.
Commissions were really really good this year, I tallied it all up, and even though it only came out to me being able to pay for a semester and 2/3rds, I'm still really really happy so many people have come back over and over to buy from me. It all feels worth it, my art journey. And I'm very much happy to continue it, for my own sake and for your sake! I love seeing your characters and I am very happy ya'll trust me enough with them time and time again. Despite all I've said, I'd be more than happy to offer commissions to people and draw for myself for quite some time yet.
...You're probably still holding your breath about the prices huh?
Sadly, as with anything, now that I have college to think about and, at the moment I can't really mentally handle a real job and school at the same time, I'm going to keep running commissions to do in between my school work (alongside rather). They might come out a little slower, but that's how it'll have to be a while.
At most I want to increase the sketch prices by $5 for each category (bust, half, full), and see how that does until the middle of the year. If it's all well and dandy, I will increase them again by another $5. Originally I wanted to bump it up ten all across the board, but I feel that's too much of a spike compared to what people are used to. Not to mention I'd have to raise the prices of all my other items, which will also see an increase come middle of the year. This plan isn't solid yet so don't hold me to it. I will make the necessary announcements when it's time!
Anyway, I wanted to thank everyone this year for just overall being there and helpin' me out tremendously when I needed it. The efforts are not taken lightly or forgotten, and likewise once I am able, I can't wait to be able to help all of you in the same way ya'll have helped me. Really, aside from financial and life stability lol I honestly miss having a job cuz it allowed me to spoil so many people. I really really miss that. So I'm working hard to get there again.
For now, here's to 2024! Come what may. We'll make it to the end some way or another, so buckle up.

OOC / Rules
Hi! It's Alexis. You'll probably recognize me best from Gladiia, but I also run Aloisia.
I usually just link to Gladiia's blog for all of my secondary blogs for rule pages, but there's one big rule here that's Pozyomka-specific, so I'll just put it all here instead of making you go to another page.
This is probably going to read as tired and maybe a bit hostile. I promise, none of this is too serious. 99% of you would never once violate any of these rules even if you didn't read them. Just be a decent person, and you'll be gucci.
Rule 1: No minors. 18+ only.
There's not going to be much NSFW here, I'd figure, but I still don't want to risk exposing minors to that.
Rule 2: Don't try to do anything NSFW with me unless we're friends.
I'm just not comfortable with it. Please respect that.
Rule 3: Don't drag me into internet arguments.
I don't care. I...just really don't care. I've evolved past the need to virtue signal on the internet. This isn't an alt-right dogwhistle. I'm firmly anti-bigotry, and racism and the like will earn you an immediate block. Anyone who knows me can tell you my politics are far from right-wing. I just don't really feel the need to play the internet game of telephone so many people on here are keen on playing. If someone's actually a terrible person, then I am going to require (and would like!) actual evidence of that, not hearsay. Tumblr has a notorious history of parroting hearsay and nonsense callout posts, to the point where I just won't care if you give an accusation without including the context.
If I do something bad, ask me about it. If my friends do something bad, ask me about it off-anon. That's how adults solve problems.
Rule 4: Basic respect and blog operations.
Don't be a dick. I'll just block you if you're annoying. I'm not mean, I promise, I just don't want to have fun on the computer, not have bad times on the computer for...no benefit.
I'm...selective, whatever that means. Also single-verse, whatever that means. Do people even use these terms anymore? Whatever.
Everything is online. This is within the Arknights universe. There are rules to that universe. I have imposed my own. Respect that, and don't try to do shit to the setting and its narratives without talking to me about it OOC first. I'll show you the same courtesy.
Rule 5: Pedophile jokes get an immediate block.
This is the Pozyomka-specific rule.
If you're unfamiliar, which will be most of you, one of the most popular jokes within the Arknights community is that Pozyomka is a pedophile. This is because of her fondness for the Durin, which is rooted in her traumatic history and the Durin saving her life. It has nothing to do with sex, at all. But Arknights fans can't read. Don't fuck with Arknights fans. We've never read Arknights.
I hate them. They make me see red. Pozyomka is a beautiful and kind character whose hostility to most, and openness and warmth to the Durin and to children is a product of her desire to protect them from the trauma she's experienced. Please, do not feed this. Not even jokingly. I will not discriminate. No pedophile jokes, you will be blocked.
Rule 6: 👍
You did it. You got to the end. Get out of my house.
Also, I won't send you passwords or anything. I just won't. Feel free to block me if you don't like that. Or for...any reason. I'm not starting online drama because someone blocked me. We are here to have fun on the computer.

Logs from the Starfields, VI
Captain's Log #0.06:
What… what day is it? I don't even remember.
I never made it back to New Atlantis. I… ended up in Neon. Always tried to steer clear of the place but. I needed fuel and. Well. I'm still hunting for just the right ship and I figured I'd check the shops for some new gear and weapons.
And then the whole thing turned in to one exhausting blur.
Neon is a mess. It didn't take me long to figure out all the little working parts. The guard is corrupt. The ruling body, whatever his name is, is a scum lord. And there are numerous gangs. All the while there are some honest merchants and folks trying to keep their shit from falling apart.
Back on New Atlantis I'd submitted an application for Ryujin Industries for gits and shiggles. Didn't think I'd actually be walking straight in to an interview. Right off the bat, I don't like the head woman I'm talkin' to. I can tell this is a no bullshit shade-throwin' shitshow from a mile away. But I play nice. Pick up a coffee order for all the execs. Then get assigned a job to tamper with a competing companies computers. I head over to the other place across the station, just to scope 'em out. If they were another awful sort of place I could see doing the job… but. They ain't. In fact, the receptionist there is one of the nicest gals I've met. She points me to a local mining company that is having trouble and… well. I end up helping them out. I end up helping out just about every merchant in the strip, actually. They're all fighting to band together and push back against the corruption around them. I admire that.
I leave Ryujin hanging. I… I even join up with one of the gangs. Now, hear me out. It ain't my kinda thing but. This particular gang, they used to run the place. Be the top dogs. Sure, they stole, but they didn't kill. They were an unfortunate side effect of the way Neon works. They do what they do to survive. But the new gang that moved in and took over? They hurt people for fun. So… I sign up with 'em simply to put a stop to the psychotic new gang.
Our last move against 'em, security shows up. Gives us all an ultimatum. The gang gets to swap their street colors for security garb. I can see what's gonna happen here. Luckily, because I've helped cull the badder seeds, I get the chance to skip off on my merry way. Which works for me. I was just there to take out the worse trash.
My persuasion skill has been getting a heck of a work out, let me tell ya.
I leave Neon for a brief run to pick up some medical supplies for the local facility. Seems Bayu, the shitlord of the whole place has been blocking shipments and taxing incoming loads specifically. It's ridiculous. So I offer to run some supplies on the down low. The clinic here is just trying to help people.
Bayu is a piece of fucking work. I get to meet the man himself. And boy, do I wish I could just punch his face off. He keeps the local street drug on the market for profit and to keep people addicted and stupid. I hope to hell there's some way I can remove him. He seems to be the root of all this nasty business and it would do a lot of people some good if a reform came along in the form of a… well…
Lets just say if someone flat out paid me to snuff the bugger, I'd take the job in a heartbeat.
Maybe one day…
Anyhow. Shit. I feel dirty. Like I ain't ever gonna be able to wash the stink of that hole off'a me. Felt like I had to be a different person there. And I didn't like it. After doing what good I could do, I needed a break. I made it back to Akila. I really do think I'm going to end up settling down here. This city has its quirks, pros and cons. But I like the vibe. Its got a community feel to it. I respect it.
Davis and Keoni are actually speaking to each other now and working as a team of sorts. Still prickly around the edges but it's nice to see they understand the common goal. Keoni has been getting some off readings and Davis has been seeing more indications in his patrols of things not being right. I head out with him to investigate more and sure enough. We run in to a bigger breed of Ashta. An Alpha. Luckily, I've got a fancy new pew-pew machine and take it down before Davis can even get off three shots.
He's thankful he invited me out. We both head back to town and I pass along the info to Keoni so she can further calibrate her data. They both are looking forward to learning more and figuring out how better to protect the city. As it should be.
After that I finally decided to learn a bit more about the Freestar Rangers since that sheriff thought I'd be good material. As a test, they want me to take a job from the board and do some proper Ranger work. Blastin' unjust spacer trash? Shit. I'd almost say ya don't even need to pay me!
The target is in a system I ain't been to, so I've got to jump slow and map out new territory. This brought me to a couple very interesting encounters.
The first was a weird, huge, but weird ship in orbit around a resort planet. Communications are all sorts of scrambled so I let them know I'm going to be docking. Turns out… this is a 200 year old colony ship that left Earth before Grav drives were moved from theory to production! And they just arrived at this planet. They have their sights set to settle here and want my help convincing the current owners to leave. That's a tall order. I say I'll negotiate and do what I can.
Down to the planet I go.
Nice atmosphere. Very tourist-trappy. Not my kinda place. Run by a bunch of prissy, rich execs who are only looking for profit. Ugh.
You should have heard the options they gave me that would be acceptable resolutions to the matter! I almost wanted to blast 'em all as they sat in their chairs. One of 'em was at least concerned with the natural beauty of the planet, but the other two? Rotten apples, through an through.
The only decent soundin' option and the one I ultimately went with was to pop over to another system entirely and speak with a specialist engineer who had a penchant for older tech. Even had a grav drive he could help retrofit. The only catch? I pay for the drive. Well. I ain't about to let a colony ship full of people be indebted servants to some stuck up assclowns. So fork over the money for the drive and get it back to the ship and help the engineer there install it. A nice portly man. I'd love to shoot the shit with him more.
Now, how the captain of the ship had spoke before… it sounded like they weren't gonna take no for an answer about giving up this planet they had their sites on. But apparently being given the option to pretty much go anywhere now has shifted that perspective. Which is fantastic. I was really hopin' to not have to persuade anyone to do anything on this excursion. I bid them farewell and let 'em go on their way.
Continuing my jump to my bounty target I come across two ships in combat. One hails for help and since the other is just Ecliptic pirates, I help blow the ship apart. Then they ask me to board. Weird, but hey, if they want to thank me in person…
Trim's Rules of Space Travel #48.5: If something feels off, roll with your gut. But I boarded anyway.
So, what do you get when you cross three Ryujin Operatives and one Sentient Shipborn Anomaly? You get two aggravated Ryujin Operatives, one dead Ryujin Operative, something near an A.I. that just wants to live and… me. Face palming.
Sometimes I wonder how my life got so… so… I don't even have the words.
Whatever. Since I'm still technically a Ryujin Operative I used that to my advantage. Except these two chucklefucks want me to attach a circuit board to the ships computer so they can get control of the A.I. … I can already see where this is gonna go. And I ain't about to let some shady ass corporation like Ryujin have… whatever the hell this is.
I spend some time conversing with Juno, the sentient… whatever she/it is. Another piece of old-Earth that became something entirely new. From some records I found around the ship it seems that Juno was initially sent out to survey Jupiter, report its findings, then terminate by flying in to the sun. Well, it missed the sun by a margin and instead got catapulted out in to the depths of space and somewhere along the way, the base code evolved and… now we have Juno. Who is very much… to me… a sentient entity.
The reports lean toward believing Juno to be lying when it says it does not feel emotion. There's even a whole log dedicated to how it formulates it's responses and what certain words it uses preceding speech mean.
I don't bother trying to persuade the two operatives. I just shoot them. Ryujin is a ruthless company. Juno deserves to live how it sees fit. I don't gel with the thought of enslaving anything.
Juno has questions. I try to steer it in the spirit of learning, doing good and exploring and finding its own path. We part ways.
I… need a break, man.
I make it to the planet where my bounty is supposedly holed up. I landed a ways away from the abandoned facility so I think I'm just going to take some time and relax. Get my head on straight. Lord knows its been pulled in all sortsa conflicting directions these last few days.
Starting to wonder if that's still me in the mirror, y'know?
Almost makes me want to drink.
Almost.
End log.

The Map's Setting, A History
Long Talky One Again, this time it's gonna get autobiographical.
So, as i've eluded to in the past, the map (rp_chicago, see previous posts) is not say in our 1930s. It's set in my funny lore setting that i've been cultivating for the past few years that even though has had more abandonded projects tied to it than i can count still doesn't have a name that isn't a working title.
Ladies, Gentlemen and Etceras, It is my honor to present my baby to the world,
The Staten Island Universe
Yes the name sucks and makes you ask more questions than a title should, but there's a fun story behind the bizarre name i promise. Anyways here i go.
The beginings of the Staten Island universe started back in my highschool days, when i used to DM some D&D for a big friend group i had. One day, after playing too much Grand Theft Auto on my PS4 (This was in 2017? or so i think), i had a moment where the stars aligned.
What if i made a D&D campaign set in a modern crime story, without removing all the D&D elements.
And so it was, i never finished it, but we did play an unfinished version of it a couple times and it was very enjoyable. Specially the quest where you had to kill a bard with an electric guitar in the abandoned times square toys-r-us.
Unluckly, me sucking at math caused my grades to slump and now i had less time to make more D&D shit, and ended up throwing the whole project away in the dreaded vault of dead projects.
Now skipping ahead a couple years and it's my last semester of high school, in 2020. So i'm locked in my room pretending to be paying attention to whatever the teacher was saying (maybe related to my slumped grades from above) and making a new D&D campaign that my friends and i were gonna run over the internet this time. The plot of it was unimportant but what was important was my recent (at the time) acquisition of my current computer and a vr headset.
Before i got the VR headset, and around the time I upgraded from a ok-ish Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptop to this thing, i was making a really shit gmod map.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Stallen Island i called it,
and it was my headcannon version of what the missing part of New York City (Staten Island) would look like in GTA IV's map, of course with nowhere near the amount of skill and art-direction to pull it off in fucking Gmod, but i tried my best.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Eventually i got bored of making this map, and/or ran out of ideas for it so i receded into doing whatever it is i did for fun back then. Until my high school friends contacted me over the internet.
They wanted to play some more D&D over the internet, so i obliged. I made them a new campaign and had a silly little idea for it. What if all the maps for it were actually gmod maps instead of PNGs.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
These are my only published maps, The D&D map collection.
Info about them individually on their pictures, but i did actually get to play it with them and they enjoyed it very much.
But...
Around the same time i had finally gotten my VR Headset. And i'd been playing a lot of Skyrim VR, which influenced the design of this D&D campaign. Specifically I inserted my Khajiit into it, Mr. Ralasajeeno as a Theif.
But all this is just autobiographical shit right what does this have to do with the big name you put in yellow up there?
Well one night i was writting more shit for the campaign when it hit like how the best ideas hit you, blasting directly into your brain at 3AM.
I remembered the other D&D campaign again, and i revived it as a really big design doc i still have on my computer for a open world crime sandbox game that plays like a mix of GTA and D&D / Skyrim, A.K.A. a game that would cost too much time and money for me to ever make.
Every day, i would wake up and add more and more lore, characters, ideas for situations, missions, locations, items and it would grow so god damn big that eventually i felt like i had to make something for it.
So i had an idea, how about i make a new version of that map i mentioned earlier.
It's name was Staten Island, and it fucking rocked
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Staten Island was the biggest map i ever made, and i never really finished it.
Not because of a lack of ideas, because i had plenty of ideas for it, i just outgrew it. Though it forever holds a part in my heart as the map that really kickstarted the Staten Island Universe as it's own thing. Many of the things written down in the lore for it are direct from either me needing assets for the map or questions people would ask while playing on it.
Afterwards there were a couple more Modern Staten Island Universe maps. Pictures Here:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Finally, how does Chicago fit into all this?
Well after a really long time of making smaller maps that didn't go anywhere, making other types of addons and being a support dev for other people's addons, i finally had a good idea for a map again.
This map was the current map, Chicago.
I had the idea while playing lots of Mafia: Definitive Edition a couple months back and having a grand old time.
I always wanted to do something in the past of the Staten Island Universe, so the idea was to make this map and then make a couple more maps.
Each map would pick a different time period and location, moving slowly towards today. Chicago is step one of this plan and unlike all these other maps, i do intend on sticking with this one all the way to the finish line.
trust me bro, i swear
please trust me

Starless daze
A Blackstar theater starless Kagepro au.
I've been really into kagerou project again recently. And so I decided to write this fanfiction. So far I'm still figuring out the cast and such so please be patient with me.
This was also posted on ao3. Enjoy.
Summary
Taiga is a shut in who hasn't left his house in 2 years, one August 14th he gets into an argument with Mizuki a boy who lives in his computer, jump scared by his brother barging into his room and spills coffee on his keyboard and is forced to go to the mall. he is then faced with a hostage situation, teenagers with super powers and black eyes that call themselves the Kurohoshi dan and secrets that slowly come to light about the mysterious group, himself and everyone else around him.
First chapter: an artificial enemy
It was a hot August day. Summer has already started, children are out of school for summer break, the cicadas are out and about singing loud, and then you have Taiga.
"Hey, are you sure you don't wanna go outside?"
"Not, now Mizuki I'm busy."
This is Taiga, a shut-in who doesn't leave the house yet somehow is able to get work as a freelance engineer, and lives with his older brother.
"Busy with what? You're currently on discord talking about the latest shooter you've played and complaining how the quality is shit."
"It's called taking a break. And I'm not saying it's shit, I'm reviewing it. Now go back to whatever you were doing."
"What ev' "
And that is Mizuki, a digital being that lives in Taiga's computer that just magically appeared one day from an email. Loves to bug Taiga to go outside.
"C'mon the weather is so nice out!"
"And by nice you mean scorching hot. I'd die out there before reaching my destination."
"So what If you die. I'll just ask your brother to pack you some water instead of coffee."
"You're evil. You know coffee is my bloodline."
"Not anymore Bitch."
They continued the conversation back and forth until, “Taiga! I’m heading to the mall. Do you need anything?” Nekome said as he stuck his head in startling Taiga, causing him to fall back on his chair, kicking the table and sending the mug of coffee flying with the liquid landing on his keyboard.
“Ah…that’s a goner alright.” Mizuki commented
“Argh! Aniki!!!”
“Sorry, did I scare you?”
And this here folks is Nekome, Taiga’s older brother. Unfortunately we don’t know much about him.
“I thought we already went over this! Knock first before entering, stupid brother!”
“Sorry I was just going to ask if you’d like to come to the mall with me.”
“...Not like I’ve got a choice.”
“Hey there Nekome!”
“Hello Mizuki, would you like to come with us?”
“Hell Yeah!”
—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A few minutes later we skipped to the three of them on the way to the mall.
“I told you it was scorching hot…”
“ C’mon Taiga, we're just a few blocks away from air conditioning!”
“Mizuki. Shut up. You’re not helping.”
“Now now, Taiga, don't be like that Mizuki was only trying to cheer you on.”
“Oi Nekome, make sure you give this fucker plenty of water.”
“Hey!”
“Alright you two.”
____________________________________________________________________________
“Alright we’re here!”
“haa…ha….Finally.”
“Alright, I’m going to find some lightbulbs. Meetup back here in an hour or so alright.”
“Alright.”
Taiga and Mizuki then proceeded to part ways with Nekome in search for a new keyboard. Meanwhile Mizuki gets distracted by all the stuff that’s around them.
“Taiga, look at that! Doesn’t that skate deck look cool?!”
“I’ve got no idea what you’re going on about. Besides, we're looking for a keyboard, not a skateboard."
"Boo what the fuck, you're no fun."
“I’m only interested if it’s essential. Now then where are the electronics- ugh.”
“Sorry. I wasn’t looking.” a stranger with long hot pink hair apologized.
“It’s alright, it's also my bad I didn’t see you there.” Taiga replied. As soon as he lifted his head the stranger had mysteriously vanished.
“What the- Where’d he go?”
“Pfft- Taiga that was lame af.”
“Zip it Mizuki.”
A couple of seconds later they were soon greeted with a smoke bomb, “Cough, cough, What the hell is going on?!” Taiga asked, confused by the situation, only to be met with a metal pipe to the head.
“Taiga! Oi Taiga! Wake Up Taiga!”
“Ugh…what the?”
“Taiga! Thank god you’re awake!” Nekome said as he sat right next to him.
“Aniki?”
“Oh great you’re finally awake motherfucker.”
“Mizuki?”
“Attention all shoppers, this floor is now under our control, we have hostages and we want a 3 billion yen ransom. To the mall owner. If you are unable to provide the money, who knows what will happen to these poor hostages. You have no way to open the safety shutters on this floor.”
“Yeah. Current situation, you are being held hostage.”
“Eh?” Taiga looked around him and noticed the zip ties on his thumbs tied to the back.”
“They got me too unfortunately haha. " Nekome said as he laughed it off.
"Well this is one hell of a predicament." Taiga complained.
"Nice hell of a predicament you're in. "
"Woah! Who are you?"
" The name's Akira. And I got myself into a pickle just like you."
"Huh…"
"So? What about you? What's your name?"
"Taiga."
"So…Taiga…do you have a plan?"
Looking around Taiga Stas forming strategies in his head.
"Actually I do."
"Wait for real?! Like an actual plan?"
"Yeah."
"Hear that Sotetsu?"
"Loud and clear."
"Uagh! Since when were you there?!"
"He's been here the whole time."
“Aight…so what’s the plan?”
“ I’m gonna make a dash for it. Computer over there’s got like a usb-c cable. I can hook it up and let Mizuki loose on the terrorist system. But I’m gonna need a diversion”
“You got it.” Akira says with a smirk.
“Ow! Watch it dickhead!” the terrorist leader said as he grabbed one of his lackeys by the collar.
Soon the whole place started crashing down, TVs started falling over, shelves started coming down. The whole place is in chaos as people start screaming.
By the confusion Taiga makes a mad dash towards the other side of the floor, but one of the lackeys grabs him by his shirt. “Where do you think you’re going huh?”, only to be met with a smack to the head by none other than Nekome, “What do you think you’re doing to my brother huh?” Taiga gets freed from the lackey’s grip. “ Thanks bro!” Taiga says as he continues on.
Finally reaching the computers, Taiga pulls out his phone. “Alright Mizuki… Your Turn!”
“Leave it to me.”
Plugging his phone to the cable, the terrorist network gets taken over. “Ha Ha, system overload complete, take that motherfuckers!!! Muahahahaha!”
As the safety shutters lift up flooding the floor with daylight, Taiga begins to feel dizzy and faints.
“Taiga! Are you okay?!” Mizuki panics, As Taiga starts to black out.
To be continued.

if we're talking about books we hate I would like to rant please! one of the texts I've read for high school was a god-awful appropriation of othello set in... brazil, I think? I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked Othello - I really liked the depth and variety of female characters (at least for a work of its time. mostly I just really liked Emilia.) now the main plot of this book based on othello doesn't fucking matter because nobody cares, but it was absolutely worse from a feminist standpoint than the original (quite a fucking feat considering how old the original is). it was also just not an enjoyable writing style for me but THAT'S NOT THE POINT.
I'm going to type a whole essay if I'm not careful but basically every female character was completely massacred. there was a weird reference to them in a sexual sense at least once (I distinctly remember a passage describing Not-Desdemona's outfit for a party that went "now this is what she was wearing, but the way she wore it made everyone imagine if she was wearing nothing at all"). Desdemona's characterisation was probably the least egregious, she was just boring to read and had no interesting or likeable traits.
now bianca. in Othello, Bianca is implied to be a sex worker or at least a woman that is not respectable in a sexual sense. THIS BOOK MADE HER THIRTEEN. THIS FUCKING AUTHOR WROTE HER AS A TWEEN STREET GIRL WHOSE DEFINING CHARACTERISTIC IS THAT SHE IS BEAUTIFUL. SO BEAUTIFUL, IN FACT, THAT SHE IS MURDERED FOR IT. I am glaring lasers at my computer as I type this. the fury that fills my soul is unimaginable. in like chapter five (I wish I could forget these details) there's a weird passage where her brother gets mad at her, imagines slapping her, and then imagines her naked. I fucking wish I was making this up
emilia, my favourite character, isn't written quite as badly as poor bianca was, but. throughout the book there are passages where not-Iago monologues to a silent Emilia. she is never much described. she never has any dialogue. she doesn't do anything. her whole Deal is made out to be a big mystery
and then at the end of the book there is a big reveal
that she is a LIZARD
A LIZARD. MY EMILIA. IN THE PLAY SHE HAS A KEY ROLE! SHE IS THE ONE THAT EXPOSES THE VILLAIN AND SETS THINGS TO RIGHTS! SHE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT CHARACTER (not for any literary reasons, just because I love her)! AND THE FACT THAT SHE IS IAGO'S LIZARD! THAT SHE IS A PASSIVE OBSERVER OF HIS NARRATIVE! HER RELATIONSHIP TO DESDEMONA IS FAR MORE IMPORTANT TO HER AS A CHARACTER THAN HER RELATIONSHIP TO FUCKING IAGO. SHE IS LITERALLY THE ONE THAT REVEALS HIS WHOLE BULLSHIT DESPITE THE FACT THAT SHE FULLY EXPECTS RETRIBUTION. HE FUCKING KILLS HER! god. I really thought I'd gotten over that book but man I guess I still have some shit to say.
I am still upset about the fact that I had to read the whole book for school. and then I got bad marks when I insulted the author's writing style and Choices. just all around an absolutely horrendous experience.
anyway. sorry for the unsolicited rant. I wanted to just contribute to the fun conversation and then it snowballed way out of control. I hope this is not annoying and you have a nice day/night!
holy shit. no this is what i meant by saying describing the books you hate are way more revealing than describing the books you like. this is.... omfg. i'd have murdered the teacher who made me read this. waht the hell. a fucking LIZARD
thank you so much for sharing, lets all kill your high school teacher
