Okay erm actual small thing i picked up cus i can't remember anything else, and before you say this I'm writing this from a neutral perspective rather than "hes my favourite by my words he can' do this blah blah blah".

When ruin was speaking, he kept having a voice slip up. I saw people saying that was his facade falling, but it could also be something else. At the end of the day he does still have a sun and moon in him, so maybe that was what was happening? He could still be innocent with just one doing the harm? Because I know for sure that the sun one won't do that shit, and this certainly doesn't seem like the same ruin from when he just got cured.

Another one is that he could possibly be getting forced to do this stuff. The whole "give me five minutes" makes it seem like he was talking to someone else rather than to moon and solar, and in a way he does seem like he doesn't want any of them to get hurt if we choose to trust his word on this.

He could always just be evil, but until specifically stated on what his motives are, we can't really say for sure until shown otherwise. This is more to dig further deeper into it than I really should because theorizing is really fun 🧍

In summery, he could always be evil, he could not, so there is still hope for ruin lovers aswell as the people who think hes evil. Again, thats really just up to what the VAs choose to do and whats done is done

Matt would be the son of Dionysus

Dionysus used to be the god of fertility, now being known as the god of wine, theatre, and ecstasy. Matt would eat this shit up let me tell you!! His style would deff consist of lots of red, leather, leopard print, and rings. Some of his fashion inspirations would be Freddy Mercury, Elton John, and the band Motley Crue. His father is the god of theatre, he's bound to be dramatic with his actions and style.

His cabin, number 12, would most definitely be known as the party cabin. He would throw big grand parties, each one having a theme ranging from the 70's to medieval. He would also host plays, all of them being dramatic, with dark plots. With the parties and plays, come drugs and alcohol. He has drugs of all types, weed, acid, shrooms, etc. His personal favorite is molly, the drug making him and anyone exceptionally horny. He finds that sex feels way better when he and his partner for the night are on it.

Speaking of sexual endeavors, this man is a freaky frog. The way he acts in the bedroom should be a crime! I'm talking rope, vibrators, blindfolds, ball gags, handcuffs, etc. Let's not forget, his dad is the god of fertility, BREEDING KINKKKKKK!!!!! He hates condoms due to his breeding kink, but god forbid he gets one of the girls at the camp pregnant. The only time he would let his breeding kink roam free is when he finally has sex with the girl he's had his eyes on since she arrived at the camp, the daughter of Aphrodite. He is known as the manwhore of the camp, most of the males hating him, but still hoping they get an invitation to his parties. The girls try to stay clear of him, knowing how he is but somehow still ending up in his bedroom. Let's get into the bedroom. It's giving Bruno Mars along with Shake & Go wig Anderson Paak. It's straight out of the 70's. It's clean and often smells like weed, wine, and cherries.

His bestfriend is Chris, the son of Hades. The two go hand in hand, partners in crime. When they first met, Matt asked Chris if he had any of his father's pomegranates so he could make wine. Chris couldn't help but laugh at the question, but Matt was being deadass. If Matt is throwing a party, Chris is right there cigarette in hand.

Dionysus's animal was a leopard and or a tiger. Matt would honor that by wearing leopard print and having tiger rugs.

I don't think Dionysus actually had children, but if he did I would imagine they had the ability to cause/cure both sexual and non-sexual madness with their words. like, imagine Matt just saying what he would do to you, and the more descriptive he got, you could basically feel him fucking you? yeah, sign me up!!

Dionysus's weapon of choice was a staff with a pinecone at the top, called a Thyrsus. I think Matt would have the same thing, but more like a cane an old-school pimp would have (thinking of Kat Williams) and it would have the head of a tiger.

Chris would be the son of hades

Hades is the god of the underworld, defending the rights of the dead and protecting the world as well as his wife Persephone. His style would be somewhat similar to Matt's as far as color goes. Lots of black, a few white pieces, and red as well. You will always see him in a leather jacket, his feet adorned by a pair of white air forces. With his father being the god of the underworld, Chris unfortunately got his reputation. A lot of the other half-bloods steering clear of him, whispering when he walks past, not even daring to say his name. it hurt Chris at first, having his peers view him as evil, but he grew accustomed to it. Eventually saying 'fuck it' and playing into the role they made for him.

His cabin being number 13 is perfect because I would like to think he would be born on October 13th, a Friday specifically. It would be deep in the woods, the path scary-looking and eerie. The only source of light being the skull torches against the front door. The only people coming to the house were himself and his best friend Matt, the son of Dionysus. Because no one came to his cabin, Matt would use it as the storage for the copious amounts of wine and paraphernalia he keeps handy. His room is dark (duh). Silk black bedding, books strewn randomly in the room. His skateboard was always propped against the door as well as his multiple pairs of beat-up shoes. He loves music, multiple vinyls, and CDs stacked up in crates around the cabin. He had his signature black guitar right next to his bed, always ready to grab and play. He's a man of few words in this universe. He often found himself writing love songs for the girl in cabin 20, the daughter of Hecate.

Being the son of Hades, anger is unfortunately something he can't avoid. Even though he is usually quiet, all it takes is one person to set him off. One of the Zeus boys was pushing him around and he snapped, damn near killing the boy before Matt pulled him away.

As stated before, his best friend is Matt. He was the only one in the camp to speak to him. Granted he was asking for pomegranates to make wine, but he stuck with him. Matt brought him out of his shell, making sure he was the first to get an invitation to his parties and plays, encouraging his love for music, and also being there for him when his anger got out of control.

Most of Hades, children do have powers. Those powers are necromancy, shadow manipulation, the ability to manipulate the earth, and shadow fusion. Chris would have all of these, especially necromancy and shadow manipulation/fusion. He would use necromancy to fuck with the others in the camp, loving the way his peers screamed in fright. He would only use shadow fusion to spy on his crush, but he gets caught and shyly reveals himself (help I wanna write a fic on the way they meet).

Hades animal representation is a black ram, a screeching owl, and a serpent. let's not forget the three-headed dog Cerberus. Chris would have a big-ass Doberman named Orcus. That dog would hate everyone but Chris, Matt, and the daughter of Hecate.

Nick would be the son of Hermes

Hermes was the god of trade, wealth, luck, sleep, language, thieves, and travel. His style would always consist of light blue jeans and some form of a white shirt/tank top. If he was delivering mail and or messages, he would also wear a blue jean jacket. Him being the son of Hermes is giving blonde Nick IDC idc idc!!!! He would always wear a pair of off-white Converse with wings on the side. Delivering mail can be boring, so he often wears headphones hooked up to a cassette player his best friend Chris gave him as a form of payment.

His cabin is number 11, a lucky number to most. I would imagine it to be a bit more elevated than the others. Perched on some type of high ground where the sun shines in the morning. His cabin would definitely be organized, with all the mail in a specific room in alphabetical order. All of the payments that weren't in cash were placed perfectly in the home, not a thing out of place. His bedding would be white with gold silk pillows. He loved to sleep so his bed was always unmade, blankets thrown all over the bed, even dipping onto the floor.

He often liked to cause a bit of chaos in the camp, it was his homage to his father. He would steal from the other campers, shrugging and rolling his eyes when they asked him about it. He would break into the counselor's office, picking the lock with ease to receive something of Matt's. He would do this often for the campers, but not without payment. If they weren't giving him cash, they had to pay by giving him something of theirs. The amount of jewelry he has is insane.

His best friends, despite not liking their attitudes, would be Matt and Chris. Matt had asked him to deliver invitations for a party, and Nick initially told him no after seeing the amount of invitations. He quickly changed his mind seeing the stack of cash and a gold chalice Matt offered. He and Chris became friends the day he guided Chris into the camp, much like his father guides souls to the underworld.

Most of Hermes' children have powers, those being enhanced speed, audiokensis, and Clauditiskinesis. Nick has all of these, his favorite being clauditiskinesis and audiokensis. He would use audio to listen in on everyone's conversations, it helped that he could be above them in the clouds, never being seen. That's how he figured out that one of the sons of Zeus has a crush on him.

He wouldn't have an animal in my opinion. I would imagine him to have a messenger bag that's like, never-ending lmao.

oh this is a long one, who's Juan Guarnizo, the streamer who has recently tweeted against the french union in regards of the qsmp.

juan guarnizo is a colombian streamer (who now lives in mexico with his wife). he's participated in Tortillaland, a roleplaying minecraft series, as a wizard of sorts. He then decided to create a "spin-off" series (more cinematic/pre-planned) called "El Dios de Todo" (The God of Everything, his character's catchphrase). So he partnered with Euphonia, a popular Minecraft Studio that has created games such as SquidCraft, Dedsafio, SawMinecraftGames, and more.

He announced he was looking for several roleplayers for this project, and people started complaining on twitter because some of the requirements were pretty much insane.

Some include, full availability for 6 hours a day everyday for an entire month, good quality microphone, not being able to livestream the content, just record it to be used after the proyect was released, knowing how to rhyme/rap/sing/imitate voices and animals/general voice acting talent and being able to improv. All of that for the price of 0$. The payment? The enriching experience of being part of this unpayed proyect with your favorite content creator.

Well turns out people still didn't like this idea, justifiably so, and continued to call him out on twitter. His initial response was as follows:

(Hello, I understand that you know little about the project so I'll explain it to you: The God of Everything is a series based on a story that we will tell in the most cinematic way possible, therefore it is only possible to have one pov and not 40. Participants will be able to take advantage of the series on different social media platforms but not live. How much benefit they decide to get out of it is up to each person. The 6 hours a day thing is insurance, because there will most likely be days where your participation is half an hour and that's it. Also making it clear that professionals such as voice actors who will also be in the series will be paid for their work. We are creating an experience never seen before for me, the roleplayers and the audience, whoever wants and can experience it will enjoy it very much. Communities that are not going to see it at all, at least don't fill it with your toxicity or bad vibes.)

Basically excusing himself by "I'm doing good by allowing you to join, please don't let toxicity ruin this". Which was still off, because professional voice actors would be getting payed but somehow the rest wouldn't, weird overall. Several POVs would be recorded but only one would be able to broadcast it, Juan. "we'll pay you with exposure" ahh deal

I haven't followed him since this happened, some claim he then did pay the actors, but even if that were the case, that would've never happened if it weren't for people calling out his exploitative bs. Which is exactly what's happened with the qsmp, only this time it's not a cancellation on twitter dot com, but a whole entire french union.

What I think their fans don't understand is that this is not a mob campaign against their faves, it's about protecting the working class from the privileged who refuse to pay them correctly or sometimes never at all, granting them rights to defend themselves when cases like these arise. This goes for people who claim Juan learned from his mistake, he clearly didn't if his immediate reaction to the union was:

It had already been a week since both 'tickle monsters' had received their lesson, they were grateful, especially Tengen, that no one knew about it. But they were cautious, if they did something to anger Sanemi, he would say so and would NEVER let them both forget that "humiliation"

Giyuu never really said anything to Shinobu, she only did it to annoy them both, it was fun for her, although maybe she should have clarified some things to Rengoku but it was too late.

'It's been almost 2 weeks since Shinazugawa and I defeated the TenRen team, nothing has happened during those days, should I be worried or happy?', Giyuu thought while eating.

Revenge was a sure thing, especially from Uzui, he knew him quite well and he probably would have been throwing a masterful tantrum at Rengoku if he needed his help.

Analysis on Mabel (Part 1)

So once again I'm doing an analysis on gravity falls because idk it just occured to me. I don't feel like I'm intelligent enough to the point of uncovering secrets or whatnot but right now it has me baffled that once again people be hating on Mabel so I'm gonna talk about that. I think it's pretty obvious for everyone that there are a lot of paralellisms between Stan and Ford's relationship as twins and Dipper and Mabel's, because that's a common thing in these kinds of tropes involving twins I think. And the fact is that people have never trashed Stan the same way they trash Mabel when they made one same exact mistake, which is the mistake that lead to the weirdmaggedon, which is trying to sabotage their sibling's "big opportunity" because they didn't want to be left behind (in quotes because regardless I am aware that this situations are different in various aspects). When Stan ruined Ford's proyect he was equally, if not more, selfish than Mabel was when trying to get one more day of summer, and even though for some reason I've seen people understand Stan's reasons more tha Mabel's, even when not directly defending them. What Stan did was direct sabotage that not only affected his and Ford's future, but also shattered a dream that Ford had worked hard for, not to mention he didn't even think of the long-term consequences, he just didn't want Ford to go away at that moment. Although, I also do agree, during the fight both had years later they were both in the wrong; Ford was also incredibly closed off after that incident and the only reason why he contacted his brother was so he could do him a favor and made him go to the middle of nowhere to pick up some book, which sure, obviously that didn't make sense to Stan because he was going through a lot at the time since he was kicked out of the house and was on the run for a long time. Recieving a letter from Ford out of nowhere probably meant a lot and he might've thought he wanted to mend things after all those years just to find out he wanted to ask him a favor and get away with the diary as much as he could. And they did both act really badly during the fight itself, as they kept trying to point fingers at someone instead of actually trying to listen and explain things calmly. But to be fair, and as I said, they were both going through a lot; Ford was being very paranoid as well and for a very reasonable cause. Despite having the support of his parents and going to some other college, he had found himself with some kind of demon that could get into his mind and wanted to bring chaos to the world, his friend quit and he was isolated in a town where he seemly never talked to anybody, so he was under a lot of pressure as well, which is why they both exploded into a fight so easily. This does not justify any of their actions, but it does explain them. (Continue in Part 2)

Little rant

This might be controversial, but I have to say it because it has been bothering me so much when reading comments on Snape posts.

The whole Snape vs. The Marauders thing is not an either/or debate. They were all deeply flawed individuals with their own issues and trauma that made them act out in ways that deeply hurt each other.

Severus' childhood was shit. He was an outsider and the only one that treated him kindly was Lily. But then he called her a slur, which in the Harry Potter universe, is just about as bad as saying the n-word (even though I hate making that comparison). It was in the heat of the moment because he was embarrased and hurt, but that does NOT JUSTIFY IT. He also abuses children in his adulthood on a daily basis. That is also NOT JUSTIFIED JUST BECAUSE HE WAS BULLIED AS A CHILD. He also abuses Harry so much just because he looks like his dad. THAT IS NOT JUSTIFIED JUST BECAUSE HE WAS BULLIED BY JAMES.

Sirius Black (I'm going to focus on him because he was Snape's main antagonist) grew up in an incredibly toxic and blood-supremecist family. He hated it and saw how evil it was. It was the start of the war. People were literally being murdered by Death Eaters. And then his own brother wanted to become one. He knew what they were capable of. THAT DOES NOT JUSTIFY HIS BULLYING OF SNAPE, especially because he had not become a Death Eater yet. He was absolutely awful to him, even into adulthood, when he was fighting for the good side, and that is not okay. BUT lets not forget, Snape did become a Death Eater for a period of time. His sad past does not justify it. Sirius went to prison wrongfully and lost 12 years of his life. That does not justify his incredibly immature behavior towards Snape or his toxicity around Harry.

Same goes for James. I consider Remus a little bit more of a victim in this whole thing, because he was suffering as a werewolf, and Snape wanted to expose him as one, even though it would mean his expulsion from not only Hogwarts, but society. Even into adulthood, Snape spent Remus' entire time at Hogwarts literally trying to ruin Remus' life. That is simply NOT OKAY.

Lily really didn't deserve any of this and I hate the hate she gets from Snape-lovers, just because she didn't want to be his friend after getting called a LITERAL SLUR. She was literally defending him. Snape messed that up for himself. Also, Lily didn't get with James immediately afterward. They grew up a little and grew as people a little and came together.

As you can probably tell, I am a tad more sympathetic to the Marauders (I've been in the fandom since I was in sixth grade). But I understand that ALL OF THESE PEOPLE are INCREDIBLY FLAWED AND NUANCED. SIRIUS AND SNAPE ARE EQUALLY FLAWED. I understand why people love Snape as a character and I believe that is completely valid even though I do not love him as much myself. I also think that the author who will not be named did a pretty shitty job on Snape's redemption arc, but I can appreciate it for what it should have been. Really, this comes down to bad writing on her part. We should have gotten a much better and more fleshed out redemption for Snape (and better character motivation for that matter). We should have had Harry reckon a little more with the Marauders as flawed individuals. Someone should have called Sirius out on his bullshit and someone should have called Snape out on his bullshit as well. But we didn't get that due to poor planning for the series.

What I'm trying to say is, I wish people would stop utterly trashing these characters in order to justify the shitty behavior of their favorite one, because they all suck as people.

First of all, thank you so much. I was honestly worried this last chapter was a mess and terrible. Could anyone tell I thought that. I thought that so much. IMPASTA SYNDROME!!!

I loved writing Richie this whole chapter. I think it was just nice to write the way he'd act if he had someone to protect at The Bear. Like, those Girl Dad instincts don't just leave you, when you're at work. he STAYS LOCKED IN!!! And also writing a softer landing for him out of that fucking freezer fight, that was yknow, that was a little treat for me. cats can have a little slami.

I had to look up what the fuck plaster meant. BRITIS HPEOPLE CALL BANDAIDS PLASTERS??!?!?!?1 dramatic. Love it. It might just be the ADHD/Autism diagnosis in me but there's something about the ruffly texture a bandaid on the finger has, that I couldn't stop describing, every time Syd and Chip came in contact.

So. There was no specific insult in mind, when it came to him saying 'you're excused', but essentially, I'd been plotting out this fight scene since I literally came up with the series. Like we always planned the roadtrip to lead to here, there was just a lot of different ways it could've gone--

But the thing is, as I wrote more chapters and got a better idea of Tony's character, it just wouldn't be in her character to do anything that could embarrass Carmen, so she just opted to leave. Oof.

So Carmen's insecurities about his relationship w/ Mikey, and the almost competitive nature he gains around Tony being 'less sharp'. I guess to summarize, Tony's fighting/roasting style, if it's not to fawn, is to match energy

I love doing callbacks-- I feel almost certain Dennys is never gonna happen. But I also don't know what I'm doing, past chapter 15. So. I guess in theory anything is possible. I think we'll probably wrap up not long after that, though. Maybe a Dennys epilogue? Who's to say.

THE RICHIE CHIP SYD SQUAD IS FUN FOR ME. I enjoy having two characters that objectively alone together wouldn't get along but once they have the glue there, they're pretty good.

No but something I love is how fucking loyal Miklan really is (in Hopes specifically since we don't have enough information in Houses).

At the camp, he takes his job seriously. Very seriously. He doesn't act begrudging or like he's just doing anything by force. As the chapters go on he not only goes from relatively aloof to a full fledged commander (which is great development in that span of chapters btw considering how fast the story has to progress) and one who fights for Faerghus because he wants to (why would he reassure the player that he's going to, literally, hold down the fort? Why doesn't he flee when his life is in immediate danger despite that Dimtiri prefers his allies to flee and save their lives over sacrificing themselves? Why does he like helping citizens who had their lands destroyed by the war, despite being a bandit who used to plunge towns just like those?).

At any time when the Empire was attacking, he could've surrendered and even joined their side because of not liking Faerghus and its people... if he didn't like Faerghus and its people. Also, someone brought this up to me once that Miklan likely has family in the Empire still, because his mother was from the Empire. He had a perfectly good out that wouldn't even necessarily be considered treason to Faerghus, i.e. surrendering and going to the Empire to protect that side of his family.

He doesn't. He dies for Faerghus. It was both a matter of honor due to the fact that he was finally living the life he always should've been and wanted to be respected for that, and also his loyalty that followed in the past's wrongs being righted. No matter what you think of Miklan post disinheritance, he was the heir who was removed because he didn't have a Crest. All over just that, despite that Sylvain having a Crest never meant they didn't still have someone capable of fighting off Sreng invasions.

They had someone able to wield the Lance of Ruin, so why did it matter if he was officially the heir? Miklan felt like his life was stolen from him (and I'm not saying what he did to Sylvain was okay either). Dimitri gave him all of that back and he started to become loyal to Faerghus and its king because Dimitri was giving the chance even the man's own father never gave him from the moment Sylvain was determined to have a Crest.

What happened in his life before Dimitri had him brought to him as soon as he became king is, in a way, almost like it never happened as far as Miklan's behavior. It was obviously there at first, but over time it's like it never happened. That is, if someone met him and didn't know about his past, by chapter 9 they'd never even know he'd had that history. He was the person he would've been years ago if he hadn't been disinherited, which led to the mess that led to him being disowned (and he says he just "left", but Matthias doesn't mince facts. At all. If that had been the case he wouldn't just say he disowned him. He would admit Miklan ran away. That means Miklan claims he left as a means of coping and trying to convince other people that it was his choice and not forced on him).

Miklan became a lot more loyal than he's ever given credit for, both in the game and in the fandom. Gwendal did recognize it, but that's about all we're given.

Gwendal corrected himself when Miklan died, referring to him instead as Sir Miklan instead of the insults he was spewing during their fight which were very clearly pissing Miklan off; but Miklan kept fighting and defending the fort, not just because he wanted to prove Gwendal wrong but because he was here because he was pulled out of his life as a bandit. The people he was defending the fort for were the people who effectively gave him his life back.

Basically, he would've been there in that fort defending it anyway if he had lived the life he should have to begin with. If his value was acknowledged all along, he would've been defending the most important fort in Faerghus all along (if this exact scenario occurred and everything was the same except him being disowned in the first place). He would be there being the commander and fighter he was supposed to be.

Mind you, it was the king himself who gave him that chance, meaning the person who reigns over Faerghus and has the most power to change whatever the hell he wants - including how people with Crests and without are treated. Miklan was part of a fight to better their society and be part of the new generation taking over. Nobody could truly change things unless the king - the top power - had the thought to change them (not saying Lambert thought the political climate was good the way it was, but he clearly had other priorities and it didn't seem to be something weighing on his mind. He may not have even truly noticed the problems and power discrepancies because he was so focused on other things).

However, the moment the king thought to change all that old stuff, Miklan was one of the first people who came to mind, and one of the first people he took action regarding, to integrate into his new army (and he even mentioned completely rearranging his army and whatnot, and then we find out he had Miklan located basically right after becoming king. We had a two year timeskip and Miklan had been there for those two years because of how soon after Dimitri was crowned that he had decided to bring Miklan back and give him another chance).

If the king sought to change things and was taking active action to prove it, that was something Miklan could see and realize was actually going to happen. It wasn't a blind trust - he could see Dimitri was actually doing it. He had a reason to be able to trust him with this.

He was also able to trust the people who were watching over him, i.e. the people Dimitri had making sure he didn't revert back to any sort of banditry. Those people could have easily faked it, made up that he did something and that they had killed him on the spot. Dimitri trusted those people not to do that of course, but those people were not told to bring him to Dimitri if he did anything. They were told to apprehend him and kill him immediately (which is reasonable, given what he'd done in the past, and they wouldn't want to try to wait to get Dimitri over to wherever they were. If Miklan escaped in that time, they'd just have a big problem on their hands).

So that is to say, those people could've just faked it at any point and killed him. They didn't. They, like Dimitri, were willing to give him another chance provided he didn't do anything bad.

The same goes for Felix and everyone else who had qualms about him being allowed into their army. Dimitri explicitly stated if anyone had issues with his appointment as a commander to "by all means" kill him themselves. He literally made it an open option for his friends to just up and kill him if they truly couldn't forgive him (which at that point was more reasonable of a time because the war was still new and people didn't know if they could trust him with this specific appointment yet. By later in the story I don't think it would have been as reasonable for someone to try to kill him after he'd already been proving himself).

In other words, nobody did it. Everyone, literally everyone, backed off and respected Dimitri's decision (and technically Sylvain and Matthias' as well). None of those people, even when given open opportunity, turned a weapon on him. Not one. These people all gave him a chance. These are the same people he died fighting for, and for himself to be able to feel like he was fighting and dying for what he would have to begin with if he hadn't been disinherited - Faerghus and its people.

In the end Miklan was in both rank and heart a top ranking commander of Faerghus and he both appreciated it and knew he appreciated it. He was looking forward to the future Dimitri would bring, basically saying that he thinks Dimitri is a fool ("weak-willed") for it but that he now believes in it too. If anyone wants to try arguing those points, I have receipts as the young folk call them, fresh from Miklan himself about his feelings about it as spoken to Catherine and Shamir!

Miklan fought for the future he was hoping to see, and he died protecting that future. Again, not something he by any means whatsoever had to do. He was tasked with guarding the fortress, but was never told to lay down his life defending it. After years and years of being hateful and angry, he finally had some peace of mind and hope for what he could be. He was loyal to Dimitri in the end because Dimitri was loyal to him - that is, he kept his word and Miklan was able to thrive in Dimitri's society without being a bandit or having to worry about his future because of his status.

Like Dimitri said, the only thing holding him down by that point were his past mistakes. It was up to Miklan to do something about that for himself with the opportunity he was given to fix it. Dimitri said here, fix it, and Miklan said okay, and worked to fix it. For me the saddest part is that he didn't even get enough time to properly fix it and be able to be free of his past. He died for Faerghus though, with his dying words being that he was able to buy them time (to arrive and fight back against the attacking Empire). That's not something someone who holds a resentful grudge would say in their last moments. He was grateful he managed to buy the other fighters time, even though it cost him his life.

hopes was a dumpster fire a whole lot of times but its incorporation of miklan into the plot was not one of them. miklan fire emblem my love you will live on in my heart and in my fics. i am also deeply grateful to hopes for uh i guess hopes-canonizing (hopesonizing???) basically every one of my headcanons about him before the game came out.

It had been a few days since “shark week” as Jack so eloquently put it, had been and gone. Both Jack and Mackenzie glad it was over, as much as Jack loved Mackenzie there was only so much he could do when she’d burst into tears over seemingly nothing.

Mackenzie was relieved that she’d finished just before the world friendlies, Jack and the boys were due to leave in two days. The girls were unable to attend the first match as the Scooby gang were due to arrive at the lake house in 4 days time.

Mackenzie was sitting on the window sill in their bedroom looking over the lake thinking about Jack, how upset to be away from him she was going to be, but proud beyond belief at everything he had achieved. How incredibly lucky she was to have him in her life, to call him hers, sure Mackenzie had dated boys before Jack came along but no one had ever made her feel the way he did, in her mind there was no competition, no comparison, he was it for her.

A knock at the door pulled her from her thoughts, Mackenzie turned her head in time to see the door being pushed open, Skylar popped her head through. “Hey Bambi, can we talk?” Skylar asked slowly, walking into the room. “Hey Sky, course we can” Mackenzie patted the space next to her, “what’s up pickle?” Kenzie asked. “I want to say I’m sorry, I’m so sorry. The way I acted was so wrong of me and I don’t know what came over me. Well actually I think I do, I think I was worried that I was loosing you to Jack, that you’d forget about me like dad did. It’s no excuse for the things I said and I don’t think that about you at all. I’m so lucky to have you as a big sister, a best friend and a role model. Everything you’ve done for me, and continue to do for me is amazing. I’m so grateful to have someone like you in my life, to guide me, protect me, be there for me no matter what. I know that you’ll always be a phone call away, day and night no matter what time it is.” Skylar finished.

Mackenzie sighed, “it still hurt to hear that Sky, do you know how disrespected I felt? How disrespected Jack felt? I’ve always valued your opinion, you know that. You knew how worried and nervous I was for you to meet Jack, I wanted you to like him, to get along, because if you didn’t then I wouldn’t have carried on dating him. It’ll always be you, Kaylee and I against the world and nothing and I mean nothing will ever get between us because I won’t let it. Just because I’m dating Jack, doesn’t mean I'm gonna stop being your sister. I will always be there for you but I can’t and I won’t let you disrespect Jack like that, not after he’s been nothing but incredible to me, I love that boy to death and I won’t let you ruin that” Mackenzie said firmly. Skylar nodded, “I know Kenz, and I’ve already apologised to Jack.”

“It’s gonna take time for me to forgive and forget about it all, but we’ll get there, and as long as you and Jack will try to get along again hmm? Can’t have my sister and my future husband not getting along” Mackenzie teased. “Future husband? You two might as well be married now” Kaylee teased as she walked in. Kaylee walked up to the two girls, giving each of them a cuddle and a kiss on the head before dragging them both downstairs to the boys.

“Finally!” Mackie exclaimed, “oh please Mack, we weren’t even waiting that long” Ethan defended. “Waiting for what? Where’s Jack?” Mackenzie asked as she scanned the room not seeing him, “I’m right here babe” Jack walked in from the kitchen. Mackenzie bit her lip, damn he looked good today she thought.

“We were thinking about going out for the day, before we leave for worlds” Trevor explained. “Sounds fun, what did you guys have in mind?” Kaylee asked. “Erm well we could go bowling?” Luke suggested, “oh yeah! Or mini golfing?” Mark suggested, “or skating?” Mackie joined in, “Boys, boys” Jack said, gaining their attention, “as much as they all sound fun, you’re forgetting Kenz only has one arm” Jack laughed as he gestured to Mackenzie, who waved her good arm up.

“Which makes activities we can all do limited” Quinn added, “and as much as skating sounds fun, I’m not confident in my ability to skate with one arm, I’m not trying to break the other arm here boys” Mackenzie laughed, causing everyone to laugh as well.

“We could go to the beach?” Luca questioned, Jack looked at Mackenzie unsure, “I’ll be fine at the beach I just can’t go in further than my knees in the sea” Mackenzie reassured. After agreeing to the beach, everyone made their way upstairs to change into bathing suits and pack some beach supplies. Entering their bedroom, Jack headed to the closet as Kenzie sat on the bed.

“Jack?” Mackenzie called as she laid back on the bed, “mhm” Jack hummed in acknowledgment as he picked out some swim shorts, moving onto Kenzie’s side of the closet to pick out a bikini for her. “I love you” Mackenzie spoke lovingly, “I love you too” Jack repeated before walking back over to the bed, climbing on top of her.

“Mhm well hello” Mackenzie mumbled as Jack leaned down to kiss her, “mhm, don’t think I didn’t see the way you were looking at me downstairs” Jack mumbled against her lips. Mackenzie smiled before wrapping her arm around his neck pulling him closer, “not my fault you look so hot today” she mumbled back.

“Really?” Jack pulled away, before being pulled back in, Mackenzie heating up the kiss by sliding her tongue across his bottom lip. Jack parted his lips to allow her access, their tongues fighting against each other for dominance. Jack placed his hands on her waist slowly sliding them up her torso, as his lips made their way across Mackenzies face and down her neck, sucking on her sweet spot.

“Mmm Jack” Mackenzie moaned out, wrapping her legs around his hips to pull him closer to her, grinding against Jack’s crotch. “Jack please” Mackenzie whined as he pulled away, “we can’t right now baby, we need to get ready” Jack sighed. Mackenzie whined again as Jack climbed off her, starting to get changed. Kenzie sat up walking to the closet to pick out her bikini as Jack got distracted.

“You’re so mean, you know that Rowdy?” Mackenzie huffed as she began getting changed. Jack laughed as he pulled his swim shorts on, “how am I mean?” Jack laughed again as he saw her huff when she couldn’t tie her bikini bottoms, walking over to help. “You get me all going, and then you shut it down. AGAIN, you do it all the time” Mackenzie pouted, Jack sighed knowing something else must be going on.

“What’s up baby? What’s really going on?” Jack pulled her into a cuddle. Mackenzie relaxed instantly into his arms, “I’m just gonna miss you, and I don’t want you to forget about me” Mackenzie mumbled, Jack however couldn’t hear her, “what was that baby?” Jack pulled her face away from his chest but before she could repeat herself there was a knock on the door.

“Are you two ready? We could use Jack's help loading the car, some of the boys have gone to the store up the street for some snacks and drinks for everyone” Quinn spoke, Mackenzie sighed, “yeah that’s fine, Jack’s ready.”

Mackenzie turned away from Jack far quicker than normal and didn’t even give him a second look before walking into the bathroom. Jack furrowed his brows, a feeling of dread and guilt washing over him as he left to help his brother. Mackenzie’s actions seeming far too familiar for Jack. Quinn noticed the anxious look on Jack’s face as he left the bedroom. “You ok Rowdy?” Quinn asked, “yeah fine, what needs moving?” Jack asked as he made his way downstairs.

Meanwhile in the bathroom, Mackenzie was attempting to tie her hair up, and put on her bikini top, shouting for Kaylee to help her. “Well hey wifey” Kaylee smirked as she walked into the bathroom. “Hey” Mackenzie mumbled, Kaylee frowned as she tied Kenzie’s neck bikini strings up. “What’s up Kenny-bear?” Kaylee asked, moving onto the back strings, “Just worried about Jack” Mackenzie mumbled.

“Why, He’s fine isn’t he?” Kaylee asked confused, “yeah, yeah he’s fine. I mean I'm just worried about being away from him. The girls love him, that's no secret, and whilst our relationship is public that doesn’t mean some girls are gonna respect that, what if he forgets about me? Find someone better?” Mackenzie rambled.

“Girl… do you remember your name? Your birthday? Who am I?” Kaylee checked Mackenzie’s temperature. “Kay what are you doing?” Mackenzie swatted her hand away. “Oh so you haven’t been possessed or woken up with amnesia” Kaylee teased.

“What?” Mackenzie looked back at her confused, “if you think that boy is gonna forget about you, you’re stupid. “Ich vermisse dich auch, Mama. Kaylee geht es gut, sie ist draußen und hilft beim Laden des Autos” “I miss you too mom, Kaylee is fine she’s helping load the car” Mackenzie replied. “Gut, wie geht es Jack? Freut er sich auf Welten?” “Good, how's Jack? Is he looking forward to worlds?” Angie asked.

Mackenzie informed her mom, “Ich liebe dich auch, Süße” “I love you too, sweetie” Angie replied before hanging up.

“Is everything ok?” Jack asked as he walked into the room. “Yeah everything’s fine, mom was just missing us. She’s not used to the house being so quiet” Mackenzie laughed. “I mean with us” Jack stated, grabbing Kenzie’s hands.

“Jack, baby we’re fine. What are you talking about?” Kenzie looked up at him confused. “Nothing doesn’t matter. Let’s head out before they send in Kaylee” Jack faked a scared look, “JACKSON ROWDEN HUGHES, MACKENZIE REESE HAVENER MOVE YOUR ASSES” Kaylee shouted from outside, causing the couple to burst out laughing before heading outside themselves. “THAT’S STILL NOT MY NAME, YOU KNOW THAT!” Jack shouted back.

Mackenzie walked out first, as Jack turned to lock the door. Quinn grabbed the beach bag off Mackenzie placing it in the trunk, before walking to the driver's door. Jack led Mackenzie over to his car, opening the front passenger seat for her. After climbing in and buckling up, Mackenzie turned to look at who was occupying the back seats. Ethan and Luca smiled at her, whilst Skylar was resting her head on Ethan’s shoulder playing with his fingers.

Mackenzie turned back to look at Jack as he backed out of the driveway, “so Jack how are you feeling about the friendlies?” Luca started up a conversation. “Yeah, it’ll be nice to see the boys again. I have a good feeling about them, our team this year is looking so promising! I’m getting to wear the C again which still feels weird” Jack spoke excitedly.

“Alright Jack calm down, it’s not even an official tournament” Skylar laughed out causing Luca and Ethan to chuckle. Mackenzie frowned when she saw the look on Jack’s face. “Well I’m still proud, no matter if it’s official or not” Mackenzie smiled hoping to reassure him.

Jack stayed quiet for the rest of the journey as the boys and Sky chatted amongst themselves. Mackenzie reached to grab his hand, giving it a gentle squeeze, Jack glanced at her briefly before focusing on the road. “What’s going on in that pretty little head of yours Jacky?” Kenzie asked, looking worried.

“Nothin’” Jack replied, concentrating on the road. Mackenzie sighed, rubbing her thumb across his knuckles, “we both know that’s a lie bubs” Kenzie stated. Jack didn’t respond, instead he pulled the car into park before climbing out, pulling Kenzie’s door open for her as he walked to the trunk.

Mackenzie sat still for a second, furrowed brows as she looked out at the sand. “Kenz? You ok?” Ethan asked, leaning forward. Mackenzie jumped, before groaning, “uggghhhh fuck Ethan whyyyy.” “Shit I’m sorry, are you ok?” Ethan worried.

Mackenzie breathed heavily, gritting her teeth, “mhmm” she hummed out. Ethan looked over at her worriedly, glancing as she grabbed her ribs, “J-Jack!” Ethan shouted climbing out the back seat. “Jack’s not here, what’s wrong?” Skylar called back. “What?!” Mackenzie climbed out of the car, and began walking toward everyone else. She was confused, worried, Jack had been acting off, he was never off with her. Mackenzie was trying to think of anything that she’d done to upset him but came up empty.

“Hey sunshine” Kaylee hugged her but moved away quickly when she yelped, “kenz?” Kaylee questioned. “Ethan made me jump and I jolted my rib. I'll be fine” Kenzie smiled, “now where’s Jack?” She began to scan the group for him.

“Jack? I thought he was with you?” Kaylee began looking around confused. “He was but he disappeared, I’d figured he was here” Mackenzie spoke before catching a glimpse of the back of Jack's head, it seemed he was talking to Luke and Quinn.

“Hey Kay he’s over there” Mackenzie tapped her best friend to get her attention. Quinn looked in the girls direction, before saying something to Jack and Luke, causing the boys to turn to look at them. Mackenzie and Kaylee made their way over, Mackenzie leaning up to kiss Jack as they stood in front of them, Jack however turned his head so her lips landed on his cheek. Mackenzie flushed in embarrassment as Luke cleared his throat, Mackenzie stepped away and began heading further down the beach to help set up as Kaylee stayed back, giving Jack a look before following. Kaylee wrapped her arm around Kenzie when she caught up, rubbing her shoulder comfortingly.

“I dunno what his problem is, but he’s leaving in 2 days and I wanted to make the most of the time we have as I’m not gonna see him for 6 days” Mackenzie sighed. “I know babes, I know. He’s not said anything to me but maybe he’s just worried about the friendlies? It’s a big responsibility being captain we know that more than anyone” Kaylee replied kissing Kenzie on the head just before they reached the umich boys.

“Do you know what’ll cheer you up?” Kaylee smirked. “Wine?” Kenzie laughed, “no— well yes but I was gonna say an improv photoshoot but we can do both” Kaylee laughed. “Hmm ok you’ve sold me, which first Lady Johnson?” Kenzie spoke in an awful British accent, “hmm wine first Lady Havener, always wine first” Kaylee replied back carrying on the joke, both girls cackling as Kaylee reached into the cooler pulling out a bottle.

The girls moved just to the right of the boys, spreading out so everyone had a seat. Mackenzie glanced back at Jack, who looked worried but talking to Trevor. Mackenzie frowned at her boy, Jack wasn’t like this, he wasn’t a worrier and Mackenzie made a mental note to talk to him later about it.

Kaylee cracked open the wine, taking a swig out of the bottle before passing it to Kenzie. “And what wine have we got today Lady Johnson?” Kenzie asked, carrying on the joke, “well my dear, it’s a lovely vintage—20–15 bottle of Malbec made with the finest grapes, it has—- a sweet vanilla undertone— with a hint of citrus best— paired with rich red meats” Kaylee spoke, pausing at times as she read the label.

Kenzie shrugged and took a swig, “I can’t lie that slaps, where did we get this from?” Kenzie asked as she read the label. “I’m not sure, I think Quinn brought it” Kaylee replied, reaching to drink again. After passing the bottle back and forth as they talked mindlessly about anything and everything, they soon finished the bottle. Mackenzie laughed as Kaylee struggled to stand up in the soft sand, “oh that’s right, laugh it up. I’ll remember that!” Kaylee laughed along.

“Come on sexy you can do it!” Trevor shouted across the group, “oh fuck off Trev, now isn’t the time!” Kaylee huffed out sending Mackenzie into another laughing fit. Kaylee finally stood, reaching a hand out to help Mackenzie up.

“Aww you’re still gonna help me up even after I laughed at you?” Mackenzie pouted as Kaylee pulled her up “It’s in the contract babes” Kaylee winked. “Now it’s photoshoot timeeeeeee” Mackenzie shouted before walking off to find a good spot. “Well you heard the lady, we’ll be back” Kaylee promised the boys.

After laughing and posing for pictures the girls headed back to the group, Mackenzie walking over to Jack and Trevor. “Hey trev, mind if I borrow our boy for a sec?” Kenzie asked, “yeah course” Trevor stood, wiped down the sand from his shorts and left.

“Hey Jacky” Mackenzie sat down and leant her head against his shoulder. Jack sighed, “hey baby” he mumbled. “What’s going on with you bubs? And don’t say nothing” Mackenzie mumbled against his shoulder.

It was quiet for a few minutes as if Jack was trying to figure out what to say. “Jack, baby, if you don’t wanna talk to me about it or you’re not ready to, I understand. Just please don’t push me away, I wanna help” Mackenzie reassured him.

“It’s not that I don’t wanna tell you, I’m just worried that you’ll think the same as she did” Jack sighed out. Mackenzie furrowed her eyebrows, “she?” Kenzie questioned. “Holly” Jack hummed out, Mackenzie was even more confused, “who’s Holly? And what does she think? Well thought?” Mackenzie was beginning to panic.

“Holly was my ex-girlfriend, we broke up nearly a year before I met you. It wasn’t a good relationship at all, she’d belittle me about the most random shit, constantly trying to rile me up against my brothers. Comparing me to nearly everyone we knew, made me feel dumb for getting excited about things, even getting drafted. She told me it was pathetic how excited I was and I guess Skylar telling me to calm down about the friendlies kinda brought it all back” Jack explained, picking at the skin of his thumb, a nervous habit Kenzie had picked up on within the first few months of dating.

“Jack, why didn’t you tell me? I’m so sorry you went through that, you didn’t deserve that. No one deserves that, but hey you’re here. You’re better off without her, you wouldn’t have met me if you didn’t let go. Can I let you in on a little secret?” Mackenzie reassured him, Jack nodded.

“I love how excited you get over the little things, hearing you ramble about the things you love is one of my favourite things in the world. I love how passionate you are, I’m in awe of how talented you are, how humble you are, how truly incredible you are” Mackenzie praised, kissing his cheek.

Jack sighed, “what did I do to deserve you?” He thought aloud. “You were just yourself bubs, that’s all you ever need to be, I don’t care if we’re living in a cardboard box eating cold spaghetti o’s. I’ll still love you just as much as I do now. All I need is you and your love” Mackenzie spoke lovingly.

“You’ll always have my love angel, I still can’t believe you’re mine” Jack kissed her head, “you better believe it lover boy, and if you don’t… well I’ll just have to prove it to you later” Mackenzie teased.

“Now what do you say, are we gonna start this bbq before someone burns the beach down?” Kenzie laughed standing up, reaching an arm to help Jack up.

“Kenz?” Jack grabbed her arm, “hmm” Mackenzie hummed in response.

“I love you” Jack whispered, Mackenzie gave him a beaming smile, “I love you too.” She leant down to kiss him.

Walking back to the others, Jack seemed more relaxed, Trevor shot Mackenzie a knowing look before smiling at Jack. “Jack, can you please for the love of god help them with the grill?” Skylar pleaded. “Yeah, what do they need help with?” Jack walked over to them, “no you need to turn the ignition on” Jack sighed.

“Get you a man who can grill, am I right?” Kaylee teased Kenzie. “Hmm get you a man who can provide” Kenzie hummed back. “Is there anything he can’t do?” Kaylee jokes. “You don’t wanna know the answer to that” Mackenzie deadpanned, causing Skylar to fake gag, “didn’t need to hear that, thanks for the trauma.”

“Hey! Kaylee asked, don’t blame me!” Kenzie exclaimed, “and I regret it” Kaylee faked a disgusted look.

“Babe, can you pass us the hot dogs?” Jack looked over his shoulder at Kenzie. “Yeah, which cooler are they in?” Kenzie asked as she walked to them. “Erm, I think the orange one?” Trevor questioned. Kenzie reached into the cooler pulling out the hot dogs along with the burger as they’d no doubt want them as well before walking back over.

“Here you are babe, anything else” Kenzie asked, kissing Jack's cheek. “Nothing at the moment” Jack replied. Kaylee passed Jack a bottle of water, “looked like you needed one” she explained.

“Quinn do you wanna put some music on?” Skylar suggested as she passed him the speaker, connecting to it Quinn selected a random playlist before turning the volume up. Flowers started blasting from the speaker causing Jack and Mackenzie to shoot their heads up at each other before smiling, it was the first song Jack and Mackenzie ever danced to. “I’ll bring you flowers in the pouring raiiinnn” Kenzie sang, “living without yoouuu is driving me insane” Jack sang back smiling.

Kaylee smiled, remembering that night and how happy Mackenzie looked dancing away with Jack. Kaylee shook her head as Mackenzie started slowly dancing and singing to the music, before joining in. Soon everyone was dancing to the music, laughing and joking around, Jack smiled at them, dancing carefully as he was still grilling.

Jack started serving the food, grabbing a plastic plate to share with Kenzie before assembling their burgers with the toppings he knew she liked. “Here you are my love, one cheeseburger with extra pickles, ketchup, mustard” Jack listed before pulling her into his lap as he sat on the sand. “Mhm looks delicious babe, thank you” Kenzie held her wine up, “cheers to our favourite grill master Jack.”

Kaylee clinked her bottle against the empty one Kenzie was holding, before taking a swig after Kenzie. “How many bottles have you two had?” Trevor questioned, “this is bottle number two, which is pretty tame for us” Kaylee responded winking at Kenzie.

“Hmm thanksgiving was a tragedy” Skylar butted in from her seat in Ethan’s lap, “what happened on thanksgiving?” Mackie asked. “What happened? Oh I’ll tell you what happened, these two thought it would be a good idea to drink the entirety of the wine collection in Kaylee’s dads shed, eat the whole pumpkin pie and then ride around the neighbourhood on Frasers electric scooter shouting my happiness is chronic but my ass is Iconic and beyoncè is my mom” Skylar listed, Kaylee and Kenzie looked at each other before bursting into laughter.

“It was the night before thanksgiving actually, severely hungover and many breakdowns later we made a new pie” Kaylee defended. “Please tell me you have videos” Jack pleaded, “hmm I have a whole album dedicated to their shenanigans” Skylar smirked.

“No!” Kenzie exclaimed in horror, “not Kaylee’s birthday!” “Oh especially Kaylee’s birthday” Skylar smirked.

“You weren’t even there!! How do you have videos?!” Kaylee exclaimed in protest, “I have my sources, plus it was all over your socials” Skylar explained, “ok but Mackenzie rode that bull like no other, like babe I was mesmerised” Kaylee praised, “not the only thing I’m good at riding” Kenzie laughed.

“Really Kenzie?” Luke asked, looking disturbed. “Mhm” Kenzie winked at Jack who laughed.

After cleaning up the food and utensils, everyone decided to dip in the ocean, Mackenzie standing just so the water would hit her knees, Jack standing behind, wrapping his arms around her.

The couple laughed as Kaylee and Skylar had a chicken fight with the help of Ethan and Trevor. Mackenzie sighed in content watching everyone have fun, “life would be so dull without them huh?” Jack hummed out, “you wait till they meet the Scooby gang” Mackenzie laughed. “Oh god yeah, you lot are on another level” Jack chuckled.

“It’s crackhead energy at it’s finest” Mackenzie replied, “you’re the calm in the storm around them, you keep us balanced” Mackenzie added, “someone’s gotta make sure you lot don’t get arrested for something dumb” Jack laughed.

“Hmm but you love it” Mackenzie smiled, “I do, I really do” Jack said as he leaned down to kiss her.

Well, we don't know if she's the only SPV with a CT, but I'm sure it's why she was able to escape. Riko doesn't seem to have one and that might be one of the reasons why Tengen saw her as an ideal candidate. We don't know about the other two that got merged, but it would make sense for Tengen to choose the ones that would have less means of defending themselves. The Heian one might've had one because that was probably still more of an experimental phase and she might have had less options, unlike now where there are multiple popping up in one generation and she picks the ones with characteristics she likes most and who probably also have a closer match.

So Tengen most likely knew Yuki's CT, but didn't tell the higher-ups, since Kenjaku got their help, but couldn't find it out. They basically promoted her to special grade based on mission results and I assume a good word from Tengen. That might've also helped her break through the glass ceiling of misogyny. As we see with Maki, it really doesn't matter how skilled you are, you can only advance as far as they let you and if you're a woman or they don't like you for some other reason, you're not getting anywhere. But she had her results to show off and what Tengen says goes, so they couldn't protest. It's impressive that she managed to keep her CT and status as former SPV a secret for so long, although the foreign missions definitely helped there.

I'd also like to have a bit more background on Yuki. Did she have the same religious upbringing as Riko? She was likely groomed into a sacrificial mindset too, so what made her be able to resist that? Did Tengen wait too long and teenage hormones ruined it for her? Just natural instincts? She is very rebellious in general after all. How did her first meeting with Tengen go down? So many questions that will likely never get answered. But that also means there is no limit for how we can imagine it all happening.

It's a real shame that Tengen and her intentions and past never really got questioned by anybody besides Kenjaku. Yuki has her complaints, but she ultimately doesn't do anything about them. Gojo suggested at one point to kill Tengen if she wants to force the merger with Riko, but apparently completely forgot about that once Toji came into the picture. He was so close to the root of the problem, but then didn't act on it. Riko would've died anyway, even if Toji wasn't around, just in a different way. And even if they managed to rescue Riko, it would've been some other kid that got sacrificed in her stead.

Mind you, I don't think Gojo could ultimately do anything against Tengen, certainly not at 16. He wouldn't even be able to touch her and she knows the capabilities of six eyes users better than everyone else. But I feel like an effort should have been made. The issue should be addressed. There could've been a lot of interesting stuff between Tengen and him too. After all, she also created him to make him protect her, so if he went against that, that would be a nice source of conflict. But I don't think he knows about his purpose and will likely never find out about it.

Either way, I would've liked more skepticism of Tengen in general. Kenjaku brings up right to Yuki's face that there is something very important about the Culling Game that Tengen has been keeping from them, but nobody fucking listens to them. It's so frustrating. Megumi also brings up that they should maybe not 100% trust Tengen, but nothing comes off it. The kids get so caught up in their plans and the opponents that keep popping up around them, that they forget who put them in this situation in the first place. That's how Tengen likes things to go I guess. Make people just forget about her and that's how she keeps getting away with it. And she relies a lot on the influence she established early on.

"Mineta is infinitely worse than Bakugo." I know a lot of people don't like Mineta, and can understand why, but here's the thing: he gets punished for when he does something bad. He hasn't traumatized or bullied anyone, the girls work with him and Mina even does things to cheer him up when he feels bad. Bakugo has definitely traumatized Izuku. Izuku's inability to believe in himself, his introverted nature that led him unable to talk to a girl until Ochako, how he defends Bakugo no matter what he says or does, the list goes on, this was all due to Bakugo bullying him for more than a decade. I think what really gets to me is that whenever writers have Mineta behave badly, he is instantly expelled because UA has a "zero tolerance policy." Said zero tolerance policy is never there for when Bakugo bullies Izuku, attacks him, insults and threatens his classmates, and more. '"Bakugo's bullying was him trying to make Izuku be tougher." Ugh, no. Bakugo started bullying Izuku when they were little kids. And even if he somehow thought that at four years old, he wouldn't be telling Izuku to kill himself and attack him as a way to toughen him up. It's made much worse because it's almost like that's what the official story seems to be saying, or how people interpret it. "He's trying to toughen him up because he's his friend!" Ugh! "All Bakugo wants is to be the number one hero, like Izuku." About that, I don't think Izuku has ever said he wanted to BE the greatest or number one, just that he wants to be a hero. Bakugo is the one who keeps declaring he'll be the best, he's the one who attacks and insults his classmates, he's the one who gets pissed off whenever Izuku is able to make steps toward his own dream, as if Izuku succeeding ruins Bakugo's plans. "Bakugo's temper is meant to be funny to the readers, it's not supposed to be taken seriously." The people who say this will normally take something else REALLY seriously, whether it be Mineta's actions, Himiko Toga being a redeemable soul or not, Ochako's crush on Izuku, how the world views the Quirkless, and so on. "Bakugo's remark about Izuku committing suicide is blown way out of proportion, and his haters just use it as a way to demonize him; Izuku never even thought of doing it, so it was just Bakugo telling him his desire to become a hero was impossible." or "Bakugo's suicide suggestion was made at the very beginning before his real character was set in, so it shouldn't be used against him; after all, he's never said anything like that since. This is all said by people who just want to brush aside his horrible behavior, and act like the worst things he did don't count. I've seen this so many times, so many fandoms, that the worst things a person does are downplayed to the point that it basically makes them sound like a different character. Also, Izuku considered Bakugo his friend, and here's his "friend" telling him to go kill himself. How in the ever-loving hell can that be "blown out of proportion"?

All of this. Minoru has done some horrid things and I'm not telling anyone to like him, but he at least has legitimate moments of growth and character development. He's held accountable for his actions (you can argue if the series is too light on him, which is a valid argument, but it's better than Katsuki not being held accountable for his actions at all) and cares about others.

as always the written chapter was stunning, i feel like you could really see where each of them stand in this one bc their feelings and povs were so gorgeously juxtaposed at once and it made the entire thing so much more cathartic :-( but i'm a y/n girl through and through so i'll defend her in her rights AND her wrongs, i do think hyune was being unfair to her ngl and it was addressed in the chapter itself but it's crazy that he actively refused so listen to what she had to say and then went out of his way to reproach her for something he knows she had little control over.... plus idk him always assuming she's lying about everything just doesn't sit right with me, her having to literally pass out in front of him for him to realise that he was doing to much was crazy too. ik he's going through many things at once too and it's easier to villainise y/n in his mind as a coping mechanism but most of the things y/n do deserve some grace i feel, especially since she did show him and others that she changed for the better and now has a much healthier mindset, and i feel like we're forgetting that yeosang was the main instigator in this whole situation and it isn't fair for y/n to shoulder his responsibility in all of this either

i saw a lot of ppl talking about hyunjin and i understand how he might appear cruel specially since we've been in yn pov all this time and we saw/felt her pain and suffering but i think with hyunjin's personality the way hes acting aligns. like him being really strong headed and stubborn when he's hurt or when his values are being tested (example: when him and yeji were on rocky grounds before and he was mean to her bc of the whole yeosang thing where felix was still really kind even tho he didnt agree w yeji either)

another trait of his is that he's really protective of ppl he cares about and even cares for them more than he cares about himself (like when jyp gossip posts about him he doesnt care but when they're hurting yn he's willing to take action against them) and i think that what makes everything complicated to him. its the fact that yeji was the main victim in this which is why when him and yuna talk earlier he also tells her "this would be so much easier if she just hurt me alone"

Murder Drones episode 5 "review"

So i'm going to separate this "review" in categories, because my brain works better that way.

Story: Okay, so alot of things happened in this episode. For starters, N, V and J all had their memorys of the mansion erased, well not fully erased, otherwise they wouldn't have flashbacks about it and Uzi wouldn't be able to hack them, wich is a wild concept, being able to hack into someones memorys and kind of manipulate them is fucking insane. We also don't know if J still has her memorys erased, probally not. V for some reason was having a "error 606", don't know what that is, but sure. We see that Tessa's drones are treated as worse than the norm, maybe because they have more "free will"?, don't know. Also Cyn is treated like he has some type of mental problem. N defends Cyn, a classic, the crow scene is fucking awesome tbh. Cyn goes fucking wild and basically fucks the entire mansion, turning worker drones in solver fuckers or just blobs. So in the wall that had that strange shit when N entered in the mansion, there was a strange simbol, what is that? And what it represents?. Cyn then goes wild on the humans. V gets mad that Uzi is on her mind and then fucking Doll appears out of nowhere. I didn't think would actually come back, I honestly thought that she would be more of a ghost shit than anything, but okay. Khan is clearly hiding something, I mean the man was married to someone who had the solver, he has to know something, and this interaction with Doll just makes it more weird. Then Tessa appears and gets the key for something, and th eepisode ends in a giant cliffhanger. Awesome, really liked this, i'm so fucking excited for the next episode.

Characters: So, N didn't have much new things added, he's basically the same, so I don't have anything to talk about him. V on the other hand, we now know that she does like N, at least a little bit, wich is anogh for me (I like NxV), outside of that, nothing much. J barely talks. Tessa is somewhat weird, she acts in a way that I predicted, but at same time in a different way, but her character is pretty intereting, I wonder what she is gonig to do, maybe try to "kill" Cyn? She also clearly doesn't like anyone with the solver, I can understand. Khan I alredy talked. Uzi had a little thing for her, we now know that she likes N, at least a little bit, wich prvoes what I thoguht would happen, a godamm love triangule, hope this doesn't ruin the story, but Uzi did have something more, the line of "finf whats wrong with me", or something in the lines, wich means that she thinks the solver is a "mistake" or something like that, wich is pretty interesting, that makes me think that Uzi is kind of very fucking selfish, since she is invading others mind, without their permission, to solve her own problems, that will surely be a plot point some time, I hope. Doll also has something going on for her, I think that she thinks on a similar way to Uzi about the solver, she probally wants to go where Cyn is to get rid of that, thus why she says that Mr. Doorman has done a good job. We also see a more "scared" side, she was afraid of Tessa, even thogh she can pick bullets mid air with the solver, taht can mean somethings, either her solver is not working properly, wich I doubt, or she doesn't want to use the solver, thus why she has an eyepatch. Maybe she has fear of turning into that solver state that Uzi turned. Maybe Cyn can see through her eyes, I don't know. And for last, Cyn is a fucking asshole, what is it's plan. It says its an eldritch beign, but why manifest in code? Why pretend to be a robot? And how the fuck does it hide it's true form? These are somethings that I though right now. We have too little information about Cyn to say anything, so I will just let those questions there. Overall, I really liked the new character development some received in this episode.

Art: This episode is absolutelly beatiful. The dark atmosphere creates really awesome scenes, like the one N enters the mansion. I liked the use of the humans, because even though their just a silhouette they still move like "normal", but overall I just like the design of the humans, it reminds me of corrupted souls from the Cube Escape series. Other than that, it looks like the other episodes, wich means that all the scenes were beatiful. The asthetic of this show is just really awesome.

"Next time… if you want to assault one of our caravans with our merchandise, take someone else capable of at least answering me in battle…" -He looked away to a corner of the place, there were bodies of some knights who tried to attacking a Fatui operation, these so-called Mondstadt heroes were always so predictable and foolish. Only in that does he agree with his brother Diluc.

"By the way Jean… How is my pretty friend Barbara? I hope she will like the orchids she sent her… they are something… unique…"

-The Grand Master Intendant tensed, her nerves were on the surface, when Diluc sent a letter informing about her sister, now a Fatui, she could not believe a single word of that letter. Now, she wished she had believed him-

"Well, do you want to start?" -A dark aura enveloped her, while she was holding her weapon-

…. -Scarlet was in her hotel room writing a letter to her friend Mika, she had already finished her mission in her old home, but she wanted to leave something to the cartographer, both had gotten along great during the mission in unknown lands with their superiors. -

-Remember that Capitano wanted to hang her by her ears, after she started to sing that childish song about how Varka and the Harbinger wanted to kiss under a tree. She still thinks they would, if only in her weird teenage fantasies-

"Hey kid… leave this box and letter at the knight's headquarters, I have to leave today."

"Y-Yes ma'am, right away"

She-she sent a hotel employee to drop off her gifts, after tipping her generously for her trouble. The content of the letter was just a couple of random nonsense about their next possible meeting between the two of them, and in the box there were a few paints and pencils that he wanted to give to Mika, as well as a couple of books that he asked for both of them. They could argue, since Scarlet told her about that editorial in Inazuma, that the redhead loved-

-With that done he returned to the safe location that Dottore sent him to tell him his next mission and after that he would return home to play a new game of TCG with his mother the Tsarina, only if Pierro didn't drown her in homework on political literature from new-

I'm dying Reader being so bloodthirsty and unstable, but also doing mundane things 😭 it's such a funny contrast to me + they'd totally befriend anyone they find interesting/worthy of their time. With their brothers/any other tsaritsa opponent: 🤬👊 vs With their friends: 😇❤️

IMAGINE IF THEY WERE IN THE SAME ROOM WITH BOTH, they'd be switching so swiftly it's scary.

+ The harbingers full of their bs but still acting on the role of siblings/parents and indulging in their requests, even if it's a game of TCG. That meeting can wait. Or they can optimise things and play while conducting the meeting, it's not like the lower recruits will have the courage to comment on it.

If Sakura was so popular why is she one of the most universally hated female characters of all of anime and manga? I mean seriously you ask a fan of other series who are a fan of Naruto and you will likely hear them say Sakura is one if not their least favorite characters. This was the case long before the fandom lost their shit with Sakura not ending up with Naruto I've heard nothing but non-stop Sakura bashing anybody can go to forms before 2014 on any website and you will see soccer bashing almost Non-Stop these fans completely revise history and count on people being ignorant of the state of the Naruto fandom before the end of the manga.

I'm just being more and more convinced that most Sakura fans just hate the Naruto franchise in general and only like Sakura out of spite they're sad and pathetic people who can't move on that their shitty ship was never Canon and their stupid shit ruined what could have been a good Naruto movie I'm referring road to ninja that could have been great had it not forced a shitty ship that was never going to be Canon. I'm sorry if I'm come off as an angry Hinata fan who's sick and tired of dealing with a bunch of bullies who had done nothing productive with their lives except harass other fans and creators and act like complete children I can't name a signal fandom in any anime that's worse than Sakura if anyone can name one worse I Will Wait cuz I can't find any.

I know what you mean they are in denial, like Sakura had her moments, but 99% of the fandom are aware of how bad she is and notice all the bad things about her and her character and what she does.

Sakura fans try to convince themselves that Sakura is popular, but that was never the case, even in the official polls Sakura only gets votes cause she is shown so much since she is on the main characters teams. Every time Sakura is show you can easily pick out so many negative things about what is happening, what she does or how she acts. Sakura fans are the minority in that they refuse to see how bad Sakura is and basically hate the rest of the fandom and Naruto franchise out of spite.

Road to Ninja would have been really good without it forcing the NaruSaku parts. Like really it could focused more on how Naruto takes RTN Hinata loving him. Even if it wasn't canon would have been nice to see Naruto getting flustered over Hinata and for her to give some heartfelt words for why she looks him. Plus Menma clearly wasn't interested in RTN Sakura so likely he would have gotten with Hinata sooner. They could have made a contrast since Menma seems to have given in to hatred and how people mistreated him after he became a Jinchūriki and how while his life was nice it wasn't all good as Menma wouldn't have gone through the big events that lead to Naruto finally earning acceptance from the village.

And RTN Hinata's personality could have been somthing she developed cause she wanted to defend Menma from the public criticism he got after he became a Jinchūriki. You know how normal Hinata couldn't approach Naruto due to her family crushing her confidence it could have been the opposite with RTN not having her confidence crush and instead becoming protective of Naruto. However because of Sakura he mistakes Hinata for a fangirl. Also having RTN Naruto be the only one to figure out that Naruto wasn't Menma on her own but still notice how similar they are.

They could have played around with the movie in a lot of ways if they didn't force the NaruSaku parts. It's really annoying as it was made after Pain, but also after Hinata and Naruto had that Zetsu scene during the war. Basically feels like the team had NaruSaku fans who weren't happy about NaruHina gaining momentum and tried to force the end ship to get changed by putting NaruSaku as the movie focuses in hopes it would gain traction.
