"All right" is not incorrect, and it's actually the safer pick versus "alright" if you want to avoid the ongoing debate. I prefer the latter, but criticizing grammar on that basis is misplaced. Possibly it was intended to be a joke, given that it was on an absurd joke post, but it's also clear that people are taking the post seriously while also misinterpreting it, so I can't say that's a sign one way or the other. Hopefully this is informative and not inflammatory either way.

Anyway, have a nice day if you so choose. I don't know why that wouldn't be your choice so long as it's an option, but I hate telling people what to do.

So yeah I was today years old when I learned "all right" was actually grammatically correct. I acknowledge this! But I don't like it. It feels weird. When I say I'm alright it's like. One word? "All right" feels like "entirely correct", which is just, eh??? Not what I use "alright" for. OP of the post already came into my DMs to tell me this, but I'm not ashamed of making a clown of myself on the clown website.

wish people would understand and learn that someone saying "most traditional forms of therapy do not work for me. i deeply distrust the mental health system in my country for various valid reasons and cannot afford to seek alternate forms of therapy that might work better for me than what is easily accessible. therefore while i recognize i have a lot of mental health problems, therapy is not my best bet & i'm not interested in seeking it out right now" is not the same thing as "omgggg no i don't need therapy!!!!"
