I love it when people who at least have an idea of how these things work get questions like this.
Q. Did you hear Ryan's podcast? I'm vibrating at this point 👀👀👀
A. Haha, I did listen to it, anon. It was a good reminder of why podcasts usually turn out to be the better interviews. If you're not aware, in 99% of print interviews the questions have been pre screened by the actors/show so they go into the interview already knowing pretty much everything they're going to say. It's why so many of them are repetitive. Podcasts tend to have a little more leeway. They usually only have to get topics pre-approved. So even though they know what topics are going to be discussed they don't usually know the specific questions. Now obviously those interviews come with greater risks because if your actor doesn't know how to edit themselves they could say something epically bad. Obviously this one was pre-recorded so he had a little bit of a safety cushion but it didn't appear to be heavily edited content wise. I love that he touched on the racist/bigoted thing. Even though this came prior to the entire Gerard nonsense, I'm glad he got a chance to tell those people how incredibly wrong they are where he is concerned. I hope he hasn't seen most of it, but given everything he has been tagged in I fear he has seen more than he should have ever had too.
He's in the position now that Oliver was last year. He's the one doing the promotional interviews, but he's just out of canned answers he can give, lol. There's nothing left for him to say except the 'thing' he can't yet say. So you can tell he's trying to make the same answers sound somewhat new and for the most part he was able to do that. It was though just one more thing that kind of made you go, yeah it's going where we think it's going. I just think the show is all out of later. They can't keep pushing the story to 'next season'. And I think that's why we're seeing so many winks and nods from ABC and the show. The comments they replied to yesterday were intentional. Yes, they deleted them but they knew the people who they were intended for would see them and remember them. It's time. Let's go.
Thanks Nonny!
Ah yes! Hard agree on everything here! I haven't seen/heard the whole podcast yet (I'm planning to listen tomorrow when I'm relaxing), but I've seen all of the videos, snippets and quotes about 911 and Eddie that were posted online.
Everything is aligning and people are noticing the change. There is this tentative surge of emotion of 'Oh wow, this is it. It's actually happening this time. No more clowning,' going around in fandom and even beyond the fandom. Love that for us.
So yeah, the time is right.
The time is now.
Let's go!
IMPORTANT! Please don't repost this ask and/or a link that leads straight to my Tumblr account on Twitter or any other social media. Thank you!
Heads up! For anyone who is giving me the shifty eyes for reposting Ali's updates instead of reblogging. Read this.

I'm in this discord server for this specific fandom and lately I have taken to live reacting in our "other media" channel and the past few days it has been all about House MD. Or specifically Wilson being lovely, Wilson being a little gremlin shit when he steals House's guitar in like season 3 (i think its season 3).
I mentioned that one funny tweet about people with big brown eyes. Wilson has big, dumb, brown, cow/doe eyes and I cannot say no to him so when I saw your reposts about the same subject, I was giggling and kicking my feet. HOW DOES HE HAVE SUCH PRETTY EYES?
Okay that's enough from me now. I am also the anon about the cute Wilson request, in case you didn't know lol.
No but fr though, he has absolutely no right having eyes that damn big and mesmerizingly beautiful. I completely understand why House let him get away with being a quote "manipulative bitch" so often (and tbh I too am giggling and kicking my feet whenever I see anything about his big cow eyes)
Anytime Robert Sean Leonard has played a character who's meant to be some kind of antagonist or asshole (Cruise in Ground Control, Demille Blye in Driven and Claudio in Much Ado About Nothing to name a few) I find it so hard to take him seriously, because his attitude is awful but he has the biggest, kindest eyes out there that cancels everything negative about his personality out

Why are you in the whump community if you’re anti proship lol.
Because I was once neck deep in the proship community and I didn't like what I saw.
I'm anti censorship, I'm anti harassment, I'm pro kink, but I have my reasons for not wanting to be associated with proshippers.
In fact, I've also been neck deep in the anti community, and a lot of them are on thin ice as well.
I don't want to be associated with either of them, because this is a relatively new thing in fandom and I honestly think I'm way to old to get involved with it. But unfortunately the Internet has become a cesspit of black and white thinking and "you're either with us or with them" rhetoric that quite frankly disgusts me.
If you want specific reasons why:
A large majority of the proship community are also within the radqueer and "paraphilla" community. (I'm putting paraphilla in quote because while it is a legitimate medical term, it's been appropriated by these people.) Radqueers and "paraphiles" are yet another ploy to try and normalize "MAPs" and Zoophiles under the assumption that they're valid because they're "no contact" or "limited contact" even if they're actively in a relationship with a minor. They also use grooming tactics such as the invention of "Adult Attracted Minor" to try and convince minors that it's normal and progressive to be in a relationship with an adult. This all just gives pedophiles and zoophiles the freedom to hide behind "But it's fictional!" which is exactly the type of thing I was concerned about when I first heard of Proship. Yes, it's fictional, but that doesn't change the fact that you're using it to try and normalize your cause.
A lot of proshippers have a superiority complex, acting like people who are emotionally affected by fanart and fanfiction are idiots. On the other hand, a lot of antis have a morality complex, which is where the purity culture surrounding fandom stems from. You're not special because your jimmies don't get rustled by a rape fic or because you felt icky about a pairing.
Neither side can stop talking about each other. It's gets really old after a while. If you're so unbothered by antis, why do you keep talking about how stupid they are? If you hate proshippers so much, why do you keep engaging with their content and then posting about how sickened you are? Make it make sense.
There's a huge misunderstanding about fanworks in general, mainly from antis. We're all in agreement that fanworks are mainly made for the one who created them, but that brings about the assumption that all creators get pleasure from what they create, especially when sexual activity is involved, and that the creator supports and encourages the content. Antis seem to think that someone who makes "problematic" content has some ulterior motive, and a lot of proshippers seem to think that "problematic" content is made to specifically cater to them. This leads to issues where people are afraid to create something that's controversial. I've seen people hold off on sharing their content publicly because "I don't want people to harass me because they think I'm supporting it" or "I don't want creeps to praise it thinking that I'm actually into this stuff."
There's also the issue with people who are creating this kind of content to process trauma. Either they're being told to not post it publicly or to "cope harder," or they'll see someone compliment their work only to find out that they're into l*li shit. People reposting NSFW art made for this reason to R34 image boards, almost always without the artists knowledge or input, is also part of the problem.
Antis are not the only community that sends death threats or tells people to "kys." Proshippers do it too.
Don't get me started on the antis who think shipping a poc character with a white character is racist or a "power dynamic" or who infantilize people with disabilities by saying that disabled and autistic characters can't be shipped because they're "minor coded." There was an entire flowchart floating around at some point that gathered all these things together and while I got a good laugh out of it I was also deeply disturbed that there are people who actually think this way.
Both communities are also concerningly cult-like in nature and I've had people from both sides attempt to manipulate me into their mindset.
So, yeah, I hope that answers your question.

I love reading your thoughts on TLOU as a filthy peasant Show Fan because I watch the episodes and I'm like "nailed it, what a great episode" and then I get to go online and see the Discourse.
For what it's worth as a Show Fan, I didn't get the sense that we were supposed to agree with David's "violent heart" monologue. This seems to be something a lot of people have issue with, but I interpreted that as him trying to make her feel bad about herself so he could more easily manipulate her with his whole "we're the same" bullshit. To me all her supposedly violent actions have fallen under "morbid curiosity" (like with slicing that one dude's forehead before stabbing him, in retrospect maybe a bit of revenge against the infected for biting her) or "self defense". Maybe we're supposed to be doubting her, but I don't think so. Feels like an appropriate level of violence from a girl born and raised in a zombie apocalypse.
Ok I also got an anon ask on this same topic (taking the opposite stance lol) and I'm going to tie them together:
Anonymous asked:
Even outside of it not fitting game Ellie, the writer validation of 'Ellie has a violent heart' lands pretty weird in the context of and as a direct assessment from someone actively preying on her. Like, Ellie responding with reactive violence to David is indicative of her Dark Heart? The groomer-predator was right about her, and it was proven by her not reacting peacefully to his attempts to assault and murder her? It just makes me :/
So I think there's a few things here:
Taken on its own, I think your reading of Ellie @spirantization makes sense with what we've seen on the show, and is a fair way to read those scenes. Especially for someone coming to the show as a first-time viewer who doesn't have any preexisting ideas about who this character is/should be/will be in future seasons/etc. But as I understand it, a lot of this discourse (and what Anon is referring to as "writer validation") comes from either the behind-the-scenes little snips they show in the US after the ep, or from the podcast with Mazin and Druckmann. Canada doesn't air the BTS clips and I don't listen to the podcast, but I do see excerpts and clips that get reposted to Tumblr and stuff. In this case I'm gathering that Something was said about Ellie's "violent heart".
I will say Anon I didn't get the sense at all that the show is judging the way Ellie responds to David. I think it came across as horrible but deserved catharsis for her. Instead the "violent heart" stuff to me felt like it was foreshadowing stuff that ... doesn't make sense to foreshadow here and now (and from David of all people). And if it WAS meant to be like, some dark commentary on Our Heroes then I agree it coming from David is ... eesh
Having said that, because I don't seek those out myself, I also don't have the full context of whatever quote etc. Sometimes creatives in a show like this with a ton of attention talk too much and half the stuff they say doesn't end up reflected in their work anyway. That quote Mazin had re: the pilot and Ellie being "activated" by Joel killing the guard has had me on watch all season though.

I am not used to Tumblr yet but my sister told me that you posted something about being upset about stolen tags and I just wanted to apologize. I'm not very good at understanding the like- right things to do on here ig? Basically, I didn't mean to just steal your tags idk what to do when they're funny and you wanna repost them but they aren't yours.
absolutely don't worry about that at all! i sort of figured that that was the case after checking out your blog- it's happened to me before and i'm pretty sure that was Just Because so that was the real genesis of my post lol. also being new is absolutely lawless i think i added a comment to every single post i came across when i first joined so you get a pass
for future reference usually when you like someone's tags you can tag your post #prev tags, and then it's up to you whether you want to add the entire block of tags or not- tbh every time i see a #prev i automatically go and check the blog they reblogged from bc i'm curious. ALSO you can add your own tag commentary which is smth i do all the time (bc as you can tell im very verbose lmao)
the only issue i have with quote unquote stolen tags is that pretty much everything else you do on here has automatic credit- like if you reblog a post and add a comment and then someone else likes that comment and rbs after you your name is on the comment. same w replies that people screenshot and add to posts (although sometimes i see people leave out the name which i think is weird but it's pretty uncommon). personally i do the bulk of my replying in the tags themselves so i get a little shifty ab the whole thing

"Call me crazy but I'm actually starting to kind of actually like Johanne more than Alex lol. She is a cunning bitch for sure but I don't think she has really hidden it all that much now that I look at it. I think we have been giving her too much flak. She may have sweet talked him and managed to fool him a little(a result of his own denseness) but it is clear what her personality is like, he has to know by now if we do and he probably actually likes it and thinks it makes her look cool. At least Jo is smart and knows how to get what she wants which is more than we can say about him. He has given up advancing his own career for a while and doing interesting things with his life to build her up. It just makes him look really dumb and easy to manipulate. If this is some kind of Karmic retribution from the universe for how he has treated women in the past then I welcome it."
Remember High functioning narcissists are very intelligent and masters at deception because they have little to no empathy for others and their main objective is to get what they want through any possible means (in this case fame, attention, praise, connections, wealth, attractive partner etc.) Classic things narcs want to obtain. Most of them appear like normal people, they can hold down jobs, maintain friendships and relationships, and they are usually popular and well-liked, unlike other NPD subtypes. They are skilled at mirroring others and appearing the way they think will best appeal to whoever they are targeting.
Alex has stated before that he is someone who needs to be cared for all the time and he wants to be loved, and he has only been in one serious relationship a long time ago. This probably makes him overlook any red flags that might appear in their relationship and he is less likely to leave if he thinks he found someone who genuinely loves him. Johanne can also also use this bit of info to her advantage by pretending to relate to him in that sense, like having anxiety herself. High functioning narcs will usually sprinkle in some bits of truth here and there because they know it will sound more convincing to people. She has also seemingly put a lot of time and effort to get him. Normal people simply do not believe or understand how someone can behave this way, so the thought never crosses their mind. High functioning female narcs are also better at hiding than their male counterparts so they are trickier to spot. When their mask crumbles from time to time, It's through passive aggression, eye rolling etc. and not through physical aggression so often times this behaviour is just overlooked as just being a small personality flaw.
So yeah I don't think Alex is dumb, she is just very good at playing her game and has found a great source of narc supply in someone rich, famous, and inexperienced in love. Johanne will not let give up easily and will do her best to keep him until she finds a better source. Believe me when I tell you that it can take people a long time to see their narc partner for who they are. My Best friend was in a relationship with a HFN and it took her five years to leave him. All her friends and parents adored him and didn't suspect a thing. She was eventually robbed of her money, happiness, friends, and mental stability. She was convinced that it was her fault for a long time and she needed a lot of therapy to recover and understand what happened to her.
(P.S. Admin mentioned I didn't put any quotes in the ask I was replying to, so this is a repost to clarify)
Anon to anon, in response to this ask. 😊 Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this!
(You didn't really have to re-send it, anon, it was just a friendly advice for next time! 😄 But thank you for taking the time to correct it! 😊)

why dont you ship horo and ren?
Okay before I answer this, please keep in mind this is just my personal opinion and if anyone ends up getting offended, it's not my fault, I don't owe any apologies. I can like whatever I want to like and can also not be into some things either, this is a matter of personal preferences. My opinions isn't automatically a law everyone should follow either. Okay? Ok. 👍
From the very start when I watch and read SK, I have never had any shipping goggles on whenever I saw them onscreen. I always view them only working and helping together as a team all so in order to become the god of a new world. They never really had any close bonding moments and they always bicker/fight every so often and honestly, it just never kind of really. clicked. romantically for me. Now before anyone picks up their pitchforks and wants to correct me, I am also well aware they don't just argue 24/7, they have their positive moments together every now and then too. But for me personally, I just never find myself to vibe with the ship trope of Character A and B bickering every so often in general so I'm not a big fan of the trope.
In my very early days upon becoming a SK fan (And RenMei fan at the same time), after discovering/finishing the series (and this was before I step foot into the fandom), I've always had a neutral feeling towards the HR pairing so I didn't really cared much about it and stayed in my own lane, minding my own business and only focusing on my love for RenMei. Keep in mind during this time, I did not harbor any intense hatred or dislike for it, I just didn't really care about it in general. After hearing how great and peaceful the SK fandom was everyone made it out to be, I thought to myself "omg a fandom where there are no antis and everyone is at peace with eachother? AMAZING! FINALLY A FANDOM WHERE EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE IS PEACEFUL!" Aaaaaand booooooi, was I so wrong about that statement in mind 💀💀💀After witnessing how badly the RenMei ship AND it's own fans get badly mistreated by the main SK fandom, especially by a lot of toxic HR fans, I begin to slowly despise the HR ship due to it's toxic fans. Of course I know not all HR fans aren't like this since I've seen a few fans that actually aren't toxic/hateful but were really respectful and nice, but because I've seen and witnessed so much toxic BS ranging from the following:
Trashing and antagonizing on RenMei in order to make their ship look more superior and better-- I've seen some toxic HR communities that likes to spread literal actual misinformation about HR being canon and making up so much misinfo about RenMei, such as them only married to make a strong baby, Ren doesn't actually love or care about Jeanne and is still in love with Horo, etc. They literally will do anything to make up shit about RenMei and find every moment to paint them in a bad light (I've also seen a few toxic fans shoving their "canon" into other people's throats when in actuality HR was never. Canon? Lol, there's AUs man, cmon.) Not only that, they will ALSO repost people's RenMei artworks and be disrespectful about it and also once again, trash on the fanart while also reposting HR fanart (Which is also uh, YIKES) and praising/making their ship look better while trashing on RenMei at the same time.
Literally invading Renmei fan spaces and spewing ship hate in the comments (Ex: I always see negative comments on deviantart and on VK, as well as twitter and it's always the common comment "I HATE REN X JEANNE!" and like ok and? No one cares?? Who tf asked? I also remembered a time on twitter of 2021 where a friend of mine was gushing about RenMei, only for them to get a quote rt out of nowhere from an anti (Which is also a toxic HR shipper) going "I HATE RENMEI but Ren looks soo cool I love him! uwu 😘💜" like... ??? Way to ruin the mood but also? Can you fcking not??? be a douchebag and ruin someone's mood of them enjoying something?? Jesus christ)
Literally seen death threats towards RenMei shippers. I am not joking. There was a time where new merch came out and in that merch, Jeanne was placed right next to Ren side by side together. Then I saw an anti losing their shit being overly furious of them going "If anyone talks about Ren x Jeanne, I will butcher you" which is uh, YIKES? Like bro, are you even hearing yourself rn??? Jesus fucking christ)
And because of so SO SO many awful toxic bullshit I had to see and witness, I ended up hating HR because of it's toxic shippers. Good job guys :/
And that was my long semi post of why I don't ship them. If you like HR, cool. I can respect you for that. But if you like HR and you bully/harass non HR fans and being a full on big dick in general, not fucking cool. I have zero respect for those that likes to go and harass others over a fictional ship, that is never fucking okay and you should know better. Learn how to stay in your own lanes, use the mute/blocking features if you severely hate a certain thing that affects your mental health and instead of focusing on being negative 24/7 and using your energy to be hateful all the time (which is actually unhealthy), why not focus on your ships and spread love/positivity instead?
Anyways that's all I have to say. Just be kind to others.

RE BigHit vs Jikook
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
@sizzlingpatrolfox
I appreciate you trying to clear things up after my last post on this topic.
I skimmed through your rejoinder and I get where you are coming from. But it seems the point of my response to you flew right over your head too.
You know what gaslighting is great but do you know what whistling is and how the erroneous use of reductios- reductio ad absurdums, the act of reducing another's argument to absurd extremities in order to critique is a form of whistling- exposing a person to online attacks or placing a target on an individual's back?
I really, really don't believe BigHit would HIDE TWO PEOPLE interacting within the group either you know?
I don't think asking two people to tone things down or slow down because they are acting risqué is the same as HIDING those two peole. That's gaslighting and is tacky.
Are you aware that by intentionally misconstruing and misinterpreting my theories in the way that you are doing in your reblogs can subject me to unwarranted negative attention and could potentially lead others who come across your reblogs out of context to attack, disparage and critique me harshly unprovoked?
Cyber Trolls and bullies looking for attention on the bird app often use this tactic to direct hate and abuse towards individuals they've tartget.
They intentionally distort their targets words, twist it around, reduce it to something absurd that they know will inflame passions or take it out of context, and post it online to incite and direct mass hate and violence towards people knowing full well that not everyone who comes across the content they've posted would grasp the context or go out of their way to find the right context of those texts.
These people try and often succeed at weaponizing the mass attention by appealing to the crowds sense of 'cancel culture' as a means to suppress and oppress people they've targeted on the internet.
I have been subjected to this form of online abuse one too many times, I'm used to it by now. But I don't find it funny at all. People will intentionally distort and reduce my theories to extreme absurdities or take certain bits out of context and would post these to Twitter, facebook, their GCs or whatever platforms they have in order to fuel or direct hate towards me either because they don't like me as a person or they don't like the things I say out here.
And their go to code word of attack is always, Taekook_lives because they know how passionate half the fandom is about that person.
You refer to your statement, 'BTS are ashamed of ships' and 'Jikook gets punished whenever they look at eachother' as a literary resource, whatever you mean by that, but you made it seem in your post like it's a theory coming from me or one I had espoused when in fact it's a reductio from you.
Am I the author of those statements? No. Have I said or implied those premise. No. But you have. Those are your assumptions about my posts. The emphasis is yours not mine. It's your interpretation of my work and like you said YOUR opinion on my work.
But ask yourself. Would you be dragged and attacked for it if it gained attention or would I ?
Do you see the problem here?
I get called out for people's interpretations of my posts all the time which to me is ridiculous.
There is nothing wrong with misunderstanding a post, or falling on the fallacy of reductio ad absurdum to argue your points, it can be humorous sometimes but understand it's a fallacy especially if you are appealing to the extremes of the argument like you keep doing in your reposts- please credit those posts appropriately next time you quote me by using disclaimers such as 'the emphasis is mine' where you assume a a meaning out of my posts or use 'the reductio is mine' or 'I assume by this statement you mean' 'correct me if I'm wrong'
Get creative with it. Lol.
Where none of these markers are used I assume without prejudice malice rooted in the fiery pits of hell are intended and I treat it as such.
As for the rest of your argument about Jikook not being a brand. It's fine. Do you.
But I disagree. Jikook is a brand in of themselves within BTS.
I see them as a brand. I see them as being managed by BigHit as a brand.
Also, I believe BigHit is aware they are dating and they are well aware of instances where Jikook gets negative attention too like whenever Christian organizations in South Korea lead online protests against them for promoting homophobia in South Korea because of their 'fan service.'
Side note: People are out here screaming Jikook is fan service every day but apparently South Korean Christians disagree. Lmho.
As for how BigHit manages Jikook in instances where they attract negative attention, I think their approach to JK's Tattoo girl scandal says it all.
The company asked the shop to lay low until it all blew over. I assume this is the protocol. I don't think it's crazy for me or anyone to assume that BigHit does the same with Jikook and ask them to tone things down when they are recieving negative attention or are moving in a way that is likely to attract negative attention.
I don't know how you arrived at 'BigHit is hiding Jikook' when all I said is I felt around a period BigHit had asked Jikook to tone things down- perhaps because they had a strategic partnership in the pipelines but sure go ahead and compare me to Taekook_lives because what better way to punish me for the opinions you don't agree with or shut me up than to get the do before complain gassed up 13 year olds roaming these streets to come for me😊
Tumblr media
Or better still set loose the Kookie monsters of tumblr on me- those are a lovely bunch😊
Tumblr media
Unfortunately, tactics like these don't work on me honey.
I'm gay and a Christian.
Tumblr media
Hell fire doesn't stop me from doing the gay. I don't think retweets from faceless chipmunks will slow me down out here💀
As for my theory on JK and Jikook getting punished when they breach company policies or come close to breaching their glass closet- actions have consequences.
They are employees at the end of the day and as much as they have self autonomy they are required to honor their contracts, terms of service, and obey company rules in order to continue to be employed by the company.
BTS themselves have talked about recieving punishments for defying company rules every now and then. Tae Kook have said they are partners in crime because they often get into trouble with the company and get 'scolded' for it. Jin have said he got into trouble with the company for cutting his hair himself or something. He's said he was pulled into a long meeting with staff over his hair once when he dyed it by himself- cross check, I don't remember accurately what that long meeting was about.
Jimin have said the same thing- getting in trouble for doing certain things that defy company polieces. BTS have said they aren't allowed to do certain things like drunken tweets, drinking or even swearing on VLive.
Do I think they get pulled into long meetings for a word or two when they act risqué yea. Do I think sometimes drastic measures are taken to serve as a warning or deterrent to others yes.
I really don't know why you find it absurd that I assume Jikook get punished for certain actions or that they get regulated by the company.
The look on RM and JM's face in the Be. TS Vlive when JK talked about preferring white to black to me is indication JK was going off script in that moment and was acting defiant as fuck. I don't think it's far fetched for me to assume JK wasn't supposed to say what he said or that he was going against the collective will of the group to uphold the kumbaya image of the group in that instance.
It's equally not far fetched for me to assume JM or RM would ask him as politely as possible to check his attitude next time during a VLive.
Hell, we've seen Hobi advice Jikook to be careful the way they conduct themselves on stage.
We've seen RM glare at, tap, and touch JK and the others several times on stage or during interviews and awards to get them to behave themselves and Tae has explained its because RM wants and tries to get them to act and look 'cool' in front of the cameras most times.
Tae did say he wasn't allowed to record a song with Jimin now didn't he?
Aren't all these a form of regulation? Why then do you think it's absurd for me to believe Jikook are sometimes regulated?
Please listen to BTS's song, A Typical trainee's Christmas to understand in what ways the company controls them. They've said it themselves, not I.
I recommend you watch Rookie King to understand the relationship between the boys and the company. Tae and Jin were not complaining about the company for no damn reason.
Of course they've matured now and their success guarantees them more status and freedom within the company as they are royalty and shareholders of BigHit but they are employees nonetheless.
Listen to RM- the leader of the group talk about that the company disregards their ideas and their creative inputs into their visuals and marketing I presume during the TaeNamKook YouTube live in 2020.
I promise you, just think of Jikook as real and in real life settings and the mystery will go away.
They are two gay men who work together under a company that is queer friendly but set up in homophobic society.
What advice would this company give them?
There you have your answer and if you still believe it's too fantastical to assume then agreed to disagree.

Tumblr media
I made another one lol. Someone tell me to write and stop making moodbkards for my non existent fics lol.
Okie so this one I think gives me enemies to lovers vibes. Lile the one kf the girl in the corner is her contemplating qhat she just did and what the the consequences of the actions will be. Maybe spencer left early before she woke up because he got called for a case and he left a note but she didn't see it and thinks he regrets it and that all the words of love exchanged were lies. (But they weren't). And maybe the one of the guy with the book in the top corner is spencer after the case laying at home trying to read but not being able to concentrate because his not e said something like sorry had to go and his like call me when you can and something sweet like a quote that reminds him or you. But you never saw the not so didn't call and he is wondering why. What did he do wrong. But then the kiss in the middle row is qhen you both confess your love after a like arguing match of both of you feeling hurt and betrayed but it's all a misunderstanding but qhen you both say how could you do that I loved you you both realise and kiss and live happily ever after.

This whole thing is a perfect example of how flawed the whole holding your fav accountable system is. I understand what you’re saying but you’re a fan page who heavily if not all the time represents Ashlyn and her family. Your opinions are your own but you’re using Ashlyn’s image. Before making a post to your blog that gets a lot of traffic, why don’t you go see if Ashlyn follows the account/follows the dude the account is after before making it a big deal? He’s not even an American figure. It is so likely that by what she’s been posting lately that her algorithm put that on her explore page. As you can see we had no idea until you said he’s a dick.
I absolutely love your blog and really appreciate your in depth responses and how open you are with your thoughts but pls better manage what you choose to give attention to. at least consider it. much love :)
I get what your saying and again, it wasn't an aim against Ash or anything - also, I am not representing anyone? I'm not Ashlyn's agent or her social media manager, or anything. I'm just someone who posts about her but not in a way to draw attention. Not to mention, it would be odd for people to follow me if they weren't a fan of her (and even those who are a fan of her at times, are not a fan of me, LOL). This is not a dig against you, but it should be known that I have no affiliation with Ash, AK, or her family, and this blog is just a place where I chill and vent my thoughts about soccer and the wives. It's not designed to influence anyone or make anyone do anything. It's why I even said, I get that Ash probably didn't know who she reblogged the post from, but it's important for people who don't know who Jordan Peterson is, to know who Jordan Peterson is. I even said, don't go and bug Ash about it - if people do it anyways, it's not my responsibility; I said what I said, and I didn't tell people, "look at who she reblogged! Everyone, go give her shit for it right now".
I totally get it - Jordan Peterson is not well known in America, but he is in Canada. I agree, she probably reblogged it seeing it on her feed and didn't go back and check the source. BUT, my post was not intended to call her out. At the same time, I am not going to quietly just sit there and be like, "oh she reblogged a Jordan Peterson fan account, I'm sure she meant no ill will", because Ash has a lot of exposure and I am sure that if people went to check out the original post and saw what Jordan ACTUALLY says, they would see for themselves that he is a bad dude. I'm just wanting to be clear that people like that should be known and not given extra voices to. I am sure her Canadian fans are definitely scratching their heads thinking what the heck is she doing reblogging a post from a JP fan blog, but at the same time, when you look at the blog, Ash doesn't follow it, and she's only liked that one post that she reblogged (once again, assuming she probably saw it on her feed or something).
Look, maybe there was a better way for me to handle it, but I didn't say anything like, "Ash is a dick because she reposted a JP quote" or "Ash claims to be all for mental health but then reposts JP". I said:
Tumblr media
Idk if I had just said, "hey, JP is a major dick but I know Ash meant well and probs didn't know who he is", would that have been better? Because genuinely I was just thinking out loud here and now people are coming after me like I'm defaming Ash when she probs has no idea who this guy is (like many of you didn't know him, either).
Anyways, idk if this is making sense or not. But I don't think my tiny little blog in the ass-end of nowhere should/could influence people to act a certain way. And if it does, I cannot see how that is my responsibility. You guys don't know me, you don't know what I look like or where I'm from. I'm not making money off this blog. I literally come here to share my thoughts and opinions to myself and if some people tag a long for the ride, the more the merrier. Not to mention that, but this isn't about holding Ash accountable, it never was. I answered in another ask that she probs didn't know who he was because he's not American, but at the same time he is a bad dude and people should know that (people being those who follow me) because he puts a bad name to clinical psychology with his honestly very controversial and at times, extremist, right-wing views.
I made one small post and now all of y'all are coming into my inbox blaming me for simply clarifying who Jordan Peterson is? I don't get it - seriously, not trying to be rude, I genuinely don't get it. So if someone can explain to me why this is a bigger deal than I see it to be, please enlighten me. Because I don't claim to influence anyone and if you are being influenced by me, you should probably be looking elsewhere or for another blog to follow because nothing on this blog is ever intended to "represent" anyone, esp not AK and Ash.
