Everyone say happy birthday to Pro! She's growing up so fast <3 <3
I look forward to seeing where she goes in life. I love her so much. For the T'au Va!

Our exploding dinosaur is allergic to the ocular forest, I think.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Noooooo my babies have the flu!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Okay, I don't know how many people are in the crossover between the RimWorld Alpha Biomes mod and online worldbuilding projects, but does anybody else get "Mystery Flesh Pit National Park" vibes from the ocular forest?
Anyway, the randomly generated name for our new home is Monster's Basin, which I think is very fitting!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And finally, Duchess and Blackdragon have brought a little brightness to the dreary red mist of the ocular forest by announcing that lil' Dire Wolf is going to be a big sister soon!! Congratulations to the Babalbil-Mossler family!! <3 <3 <3

Bucky Barnes wonders what he has gotten himself into this time.
He had received a text that read:
"Bucky. super inportant meet up. please be there @ 3. Thx!!!! 👋 "
Followed by an address pinned to a local bowling alley called Balls to the Wall.
The number was unknown.
He tried to reply asking "who is this?" but it never marked itself as delivered.
It was now 2:45pm and Bucky has been waiting for any sign of why he was here. He kept to the outskirts of the entrance where he found a small bench that gave him a view to see everyone entering the building.
He probably could have called Sam or Torres to ask if they could help track the phone number but the thought of dealing with either of them today sounded more exhausting than dealing with whatever mystery awaited him.
"Bucky..?" A soft voice called out.
He turned to identify the voice and then stood up quickly. "Y/N?" His face lights up slightly but he's still confused, "Um, Hey..."
"What are you-"
"Were you the one-?"
They both start at the same time.
Bucky holds his arm out, signaling for her to continue first.
"What are you doing here? Are you here to bowl..?"
He scratches the back of his neck slightly, "Um, no, not exactly... I was about to ask if you were the one that told me to come here. I got a text earlier saying to meet here at 3pm but I couldn't reply to it and they didn't leave a name or really much info to go with it..."
"Do you... usually show up to places random strangers send you..? Do I have to explain stranger danger to you, Buck?" You squinted at him with a smile, "Do you still have the text, can I see?"
He grins, "Well, I can't say I've received a text like this before. I did, however, get an email once from a bank director in Canada that was looking to send me inheritance from a long lost uncle that passed away and I'm the only next of kin they could track down. I gave them my banking information so I'm sure I should be getting that 9.2 million dollars any day now." Pulling his phone out he opens the mystery text and hands it to you.
"Wow! How fortunate for you!" You joke back while taking the phone from him. "The bank must have tracked back pretty far to find you.. How old was the uncle?? 130?" You smirk.
"Ha-ha. Funny. And to think I was going to give you a million out of the kindness of my very generous heart," he tsks.
"Oh? That's fine, I have an evil genius in the family that is going to make us millions someday anyways. That or he'll marry me into it, don't let him know about all your pending riches unless you want another proposal inquiry," you laugh and then look down at his phone.
"I don't recognize the number either.. it's a strange area code. Did you try googling it?"
"...No? I didn't know that was an option.."
"Sometimes it'll tell you a name but not always, usually it will just say where the area code is from," she hands the phone back to him.
"So why are you here? Are you here to go bowling by yourself..?" Bucky asks, his head tilted slightly.
"No, I'm meeting my sister and the gang here. We usually try to meet up at least once a month to do something together o--."
"FUTURE UNCLE BUCKY!"
A small laugh escapes from Bucky. He knows exactly who the text was from now. Of course the small one would be involved.
Benji runs full force, stopping short in front of Bucky and his Aunt.
"YOU MADE IT!" He jumps up in excitement.
Realization hits Y/N next, "Benjamin, did you text Bucky to meet us here??"
"Well, you guys said Monty couldn't make it and that means we would be short a team member...sooo," he gestures towards Bucky with wide Vanna White enthusiastic movements.
"How did you even-?" You start to ask but Nora beats you to it.
"Excuse me, you don't have a phone. How exactly did you contact Bucky and HOW did you know his phone number??"
"Please, Mom. I'm a kid, not an idiot. I found his number in Aunt Y/N's phone and I texted him from my tablet."
"We will be discussing this later," she sighs.
"You'll join our team, won't you, Bucky?" Benji looks up at him with an exaggerated pout and big puss in boot eyes. A low-blow to any adult that receives the look.
"I don't want to intrude on family time.."
"Nonsense!" Nora exclaims, "he already dragged you out here- I'm really sorry about that by the way. Please feel free to join us, we'd love to have you!" She grabs Benji by the shoulders and steers him towards the entrance, "When Dad gets here you have a lot of explaining to do, Mister."
Bucky looks over at Y/N.
"Like Nora said, please feel free to join us. Or feel free to run for the hills. I'm so sorry if you had plans already today."
"I had already finished everything I needed to do today when the message showed up," he shrugs.
"Well, do you have any bowling experience?"
"A few times back in the day. Haven't been since though."
"Fair warning, I'm very competitive. If you're going to be on my team, I don't like to lose," you grin.
"Isn't Benji on your team?"
"Yeah, and I got lucky. We had to draw straws for him. Kid is unstoppable. Watched a bunch of YouTube videos and suddenly he was a bowling prodigy."
"Well, now I need to join, gotta see these skills. Do you think the text was his only shenanigan today or do you think a ring will be inside one of the bowling balls?" He smirks.
You blush slightly but laugh with him, "I can make absolutely no promises. Thank you for being such a good sport about it and not filing a restraining order on us."
He laughs, "The only restraining order I'd consider at the moment is on a raccoon hell bent to get my arm," he lifts his left arm slightly.
"Oh, I'm definitely going to need more details on this please."
He laughs holding his right hand out for you to take and both of you start to walk towards the entrance.
"Is anyone else joining in?" Bucky asks you.
"My brother-in-law, Theo, is on his way here now and my best friend is also joining. Prudence is essentially a 2nd sister. Her boyfriend Monty is usually with us too, but he had to drop out to cover a shift at his job."
You both grab some bowling shoes on your way in and make your way over to the lanes.
Benji skips over, "So Bucky, with your super soldier strength and all, are you able to bowl without throwing the ball through the wall?"
"One way to find out," he smirks down at him and takes a seat to switch his boots for the bowling shoes.
"The place is called Balls to the Walls, not Balls through the Wall, got it?" you point at them while taking your jacket off revealing a shirt that says "Rollin' with my homies" that matched Benji's shirt that simply said "Homie" on the front.
Bucky reads both of them and chuckles. You look down and shrug looking back up at him, "It was a gift from Benj. We also wear them when we do other activities like roller skating and mini golfing."
Bucky smiles at that, enjoying how close they all seemed to be as a family.
Eventually Theo and Prudence join you, Benji introducing Bucky to both of them with his usual enthusiasm. Ecstatic to have the super soldier on his team.
Theo shakes his hand, "Nice to meet you, heard many things. I'm apologizing now before I find out how you ended up here today," he smiles and walks over to hug the rest of the crew.
Prudence walks by shortly after mouthing "Oh. My. God!" at you as she greets Bucky as well, bringing him into a huge hug.
You all start entering your names into the scoreboard.
Y/N, Benji, and Bucky declared their team Lord of the Pins while Nora, Theo, and Prudence were The Britney Spares.
Prudence prepares to go up first, only knocking 2 pins down.
"What I lack in skill, I make up for in heart, ok?" She reasons while sitting down.
A few turns go by, Benji scoring a spare on his first turn, Nora trying a throw from under her legs.
Benji excitedly follows Bucky up on his first turn, giving him a quick pep talk while coaching him on the essentials of his favorite throwing techniques.
They both hold incredibly still while they watch the ball fly down the lane. The pins all fall over and STRIKE appears on the screens. Everyone cheers, Benji jumps up and down and they both high-five in victory.
Benji runs back to the benches while shouting to his dad, "Did you see that?! We're sooo going to kick your butts!" He starts doing his own little victory dance.
Bucky walks over to you with a smile. You grin and shrug, "I guess you can stay on the team."
Benji sits down next to Prudence as she looks over and smiles at the scene in front of her. Y/N and Bucky were standing near the ball return, a ball in her hand while waiting for her turn after Theo. She was laughing at something Bucky said and they were both making animated gestures as they talked.
"Look at them in their own little bubble over there. They look so happy and adorable. Good one, Benj." She stretches her hand over to him to exchange a low high-five out of sight.
"I know," he moves his shoulders up and down while wiggling his eyebrows.
"You still lost your tablet privileges for the weekend," Nora sings as she walks by.
"Aw, come on Mommm!"
Tumblr media
Benji is on his last turn following Prudence. He already has 2 strikes before this turn, making this turn his chance to score a Turkey (3 strikes in a row) AND get an extra turn if he does get a strike.
Concentrating on the lane ahead of him, the ball lined up in front of his face. After a moment he takes a few steps forward winding up his shot, letting go in his perfect bowling pose, one arm up in the air and one leg sticking out behind him.
Three perfectly spaced out pins survive in a triple split.
His little shoulders slump.
"You've got this Benji!" Prudence cheers.
The rest of you start cheering and clapping as well.
"Aunt Y/N?" Benji asks.
"Yeah, Bud?"
"If I get a spare on this throw, will you and Bucky take me to get ice cream tomorrow?" The puss in boots eyes have engaged again.
You look over at Bucky, raising an eyebrow.
"Well, ice cream sounds less expensive than a wedding to me," Bucky answers quietly to you.
You laugh, "Ok, deal."
Benji grins, turning back around.
He goes through his usual steps but takes an extra few seconds of concentration this time.
He throws the ball watching it curve slightly, it hits the middle pin and left pin knocking them down while the middle pin then bounds over and takes out the right pin.
Your group erupts in loud cheers. Benji jumps up and down while shouting and doing his victory dance. Theo runs over lifting him up to his shoulders.
"Told you," you say looking over to Bucky, "bowling prodigy," you point over at Benji.
Theo lowers him back to the ground. Benji is already listing the flavors of ice cream he wants and how many scoops and toppings.
Nora, Theo, and Bucky finish their last turns with decent scores.
You go up for your last round earning a spare, but it's not nearly as exciting as Benji's.
Joining in high-fives you all start switching shoes.
"Alright, Lord of the Pins, you earned yourselves some pizza," Theo announces to Benji while handing him his sneakers.
"Can we get the one that has everything on it??"
"Sure, why not. When you say everything, we're talking about the one with sardines, liver, and mushrooms, right?"
"No! That's not the one!-"
"Too late, I already ordered it," he joked but hasn't touched his phone yet.
Your usual pizza spot was a block away from the bowling alley. With your shoes and coat already back on you turn to Bucky who is also ready and waiting, "If we haven't taken up enough of your time today, would you like to stay and join us for dinner?"
"Would you like to stay forever?!" You hear Benji's voice shout from behind both of you.
You cover your face and both of you laugh, "Sure, I'd love some sardines, liver, and mushroom pizza," he jokes.
"Yuck!" Benji answers back.
Bucky offers his hand again, you smile and lace your fingers together and follow the rest out.

WIP Word Search
Tagged by: @hgejfmw-hgejhsf and @indestructibleheart. Thank you so much friends! 💜
RULES: use this generator to generate three random words (or however many you'd like to do!) and share the lines where they show up in your wips!
My words are:
bell
This comes from a Valentine's Day fic I started writing over a year ago that is sitting in my google drive called Secretly Admiring You (Schitt's Creek). It needs some rework and is not betaed. This is rough... be kind!
David walked across the street and correction jogged as the cool December wind whipped across his face. He quickly unlocked the store and turned up the heat before filling in any product display holes. It was just after 9am when the bell sounded, indicating David had a visitor. With product in hand, David emerged to the storefront, discovering a pair of honey-brown eyes staring back at him.
“Hello,” Mr. honey-brown eyes said, his voice just as warm and inviting.
“Hello, can I help you find something?”
“I’ll just take a look around if that’s okay.”
“Sure, I’ll be outback if you need anything. My name’s David.”
The man moved closer and extended his hand. “Patrick. My name’s Patrick. I’m new in town.”
David felt a shot of excitement run through his body at this revelation. “Oh, lucky you. Welcome to Schitt’s Creek. What brings you here?”
“A change of scenery.”
“Well, I’m sorry to disappoint you, but there isn’t much to see here.”
“I’m not so sure about that.”
transfer
I have nothing for the word transfer. Sorry!!
thank
This comes from a future chapter in "I've Been Searching For You (Schitt's Creek)." Be gentle... this is rough also.
Rachel furrowed her eyebrow, crossing her hands over her chest. “I’m not sure if I should be thanking you or just upset you were putting this off like you have everything else in our relationship.”
“Rach-”
Rachel put a hand out to stop him from continuing. “Please head to work. I’m going to pack up some clothes and start the drive back home.” Rachel turned on her heel toward their bedroom.
No pressure tagging as I'm not sure who has already done this in no particular order: @apothecarose @chelle-68 @dinnfameron @demora00 @hullomoon @jettestar @jesuisici33 @leofdaeg-sand @lizzie-bennetdarcy @missgeevious @mudbloodpotter05 @ohhhelloyou @obsessedwithdavrick @statueinthestonetoo @smblmn @seadeepy @themelancholyvegetable @vamprayne @sspaz1000 @hippolotamus @stereopticons

So uh. Hi, I finally made a decision I probably should have made a long while ago thanks to talking a bit on Discord: for the sake of my sanity I will not be keeping up the weekly schedule after all 😔 Layton's Book Club updates WILL be posted exclusively on Saturdays at the decided time, instead of at any random time in the week, and I will likely make a few heads up when we're on a lucky week during which you'll get an update, but I will not force myself to make it happen every single week. Simply because at least right now, it is physically impossible for me to do so. (Chapter 1 Part 1 of Illusory Forest is going to be the end of me, and not just because I am still questioning if the author was under the influence of some Folsense gas while writing it.)
That being said, I believe this should actually be treated as good news, and not just good news for my personal health. Because, sure, the updates will not come out as often as I had originally planned to. But in the long run, I actually believe that since I no longer plan to force myself to only work on one thing (which has progressively been eating at my sanity on top of that because darn it this chapter is stupid and it just doesn't seem to END, + it'd be nice if I could finally get some content out that is my creation rather than somebody else's), it means that I will actually allow myself to post more diverse Layton stuff in the meantime.
Stuff like the Evan Barde post I made a few days ago, or other helpful-for-the-fandom stuff that isn't translation work, or… even maybe stuff like finally allowing myself to write SLS and draw random stuff again? Or even read other people’s fanfics and comics and AUs and stuff? (ok technically that last one would probably not lead to tumblr content but shush it means I would take time to look at YOUR content for a change)
The list of stuff I'd like to post in the future includes but is not limited to:
A tutorial on how I get my translation stuff done despite the fact that I do not actually speak Japanese. Best case scenario, this might even lead to some brave people among you to start helping me with this monumental task that is translating multiple novels and games from scratch while you're not even fluent in the language you're translating, and this would be a MASSIVE weight off my back. (spoiler alert: while I do use DeepL to check stuff and/or get inspiration, my work is NOT limited to simply copy/pasting sentences into it and then copy/pasting whatever it gives me back)
The Playthrough series! You had all forgotten about it, hadn't you? Yeah, me too.
Lore analysis stuff in general. I have a massive, absolutely insane project ongoing which is basically "Want to find some info about X? Just open that one (1) web page, enter a few tags such as a specific character's name or location, clich the Search button, and get a list of every single known fact which is related to all of your tags which is summarised down to the bare minimum fact, along with the exact source and quote directly taken from the source material."
Puzzle theory stuff. I've talked about it a lot, it'd be cool if I could finally get the stuff sorted and actually provide all the evidence supporting, refining or challenging it in one place. Above-mentioned lore analysis stuff should help with that.
More fancy shitpost such as the ones found in the #lutiasdraws tag. Let me join in on the fun pls it's good for my mental health to get some serotonin out of non-boring stuff. Heck, perhaps I might even do fanart/shitpost about some fanfics/AUs/others I find and enjoy.
That being said, I apologise to everyone who was hyped at the idea of Illusory Forest updating weekly, but I hope you'll still enjoy the stuff I'll be posting here. If not, blacklisting tags is a thing! I tag everything diligently so for example if you're tired of seeing me ramble about stuff (I do that a lot lately, sorry for that 😭), you can just block the #lutiastalks tag. Yes I finally decided to make #lutiasreplies exclusive to actually replying to asks or reblogs, and use #lutiastalks for random news stuff. yay to self-care and cleaning up my house, head, and tumblr blog.

15 questions 15 less than 15 mutuals
The lovely @dear-massacre tagged me in this one.
1. Are you named after anyone? No, but my great-grandmother thought I was named for her and her sister (and I could have been if my mom didn't think of them as Nanny and Sissy respectively and forgot their given names) 🤣
2. When was the last time you cried? Earlier today reading a Steve Harrington whump fic.
3. Do you have kids? Nope!! Just niblings that I adore.
4. What sports do you play/have you played? I prefer the whole solo exercise thing for the most part. Used to dance, loved roller skating when I was younger and my knees were better, briefly studied martial arts (and enjoyed it, just didn't keep up with it sadly).
5. Do you use sarcasm? Does the sun rise in the east?
6. What’s the first thing you notice about someone? Not sure, demeanor? Is their body language closed off or open?
7. What’s your eye color? Hazel - generally olive green in shade, but it varies and can go from lighter yellow-green to darker olive. At some point in his lie my dad's shifted from the same green range to steel grey so I've been curious to see if that happens to me. So far it has not.
8. Scary movies or happy endings? Depends on the day and my mood.
9. Any talents? Writing, okay at singing, and did some theater
10. Where were you born? Washinton State
11. What are your hobbies? Writing, reading, drawing, futzing around with canva on digital art, listening to music, watching movies/tv/random youtube videos, video games (mostly casual ones these days)
12. Do you have any pets? My housemates have three cats and a dog.
13. How tall are you? 5'2"
14. Favorite subject in school? Three-way tie between Literature, art, and dance (which I got to do at one high school and college)
15. Dream job? At one point it was to be an actor, but these days it would be to run a bookshop/cafe ala Black Books where I basically just have little to no customers (it's a dream, it doesn't have to be realistic).
Super low pressure tags!! (I always struggle with thinking of people to tag, so if I missed you and you want to play, consider yourself tagged) @mirrorthoughts, @shey-elizabeth, @lucky-bishop, @asarcasticwitch

Let's Play A Terrible Wrestling Video Game, TEW 2020
Tumblr media
I've been feeling the call to play TEW 2020 again. This is a text-based pro wrestling management video game that just sucks so much ass. That screen you see above? That is the main window and it cannot be resized. Seriously, I'm fairly certain every menu in this game is just an image file with clickables put over it. Nightmarish.
Anyways, the cool thing is that people make their own mods for this game, either building up entire fictional wrestling universes (the game comes with it's own version of this, the CornellVerse, that has been building and changing with each entry) or mapping out the mod-makers approximation of the real world. Today, we're going to be making a new company using Real World Chronicles 2023, the June 2023 edition.
Anyways, let's start our save!
Tumblr media
Now. I'm playing with a larger mod database, which means there's a lot of data to crunch, but like... this hangup happens anytime I play this game unless I'm playing an "organic" save (you start w/ the bare minimum in the database and let the game generate new stuff), but this always freaks me out.
Now we have to pick who we're playing as and folks... this list is a doozy.
Tumblr media
Usually what I like to do is start with a created User Avatar (I think that's what this game calls player characters), where I set their stats up basically to the max but I never have them do in-ring work, usually just commentary. I... forgot to do that this time. I don't wanna back out, so I'm just gonna pick someone who is closest to me in age. In this case, I'm playing as Poppy who I guess has worked closely with WWE's NXT brand to make music for them??? She's 28, I'm 29, I've already imposed this rule on us.
The second thing we set is "User Talents". These traits (Negotiating, Motivating, Creativity, Leadership, Diplomacy, and Silver Tongue) will help and hinder us in certain ways, and we will get more points for every X number of shows we run. At the start we have 30 points, along with some template options. Usually I do not care about this and pick Jack of all Trades to get 5 across the board. But let's go full chaotic and do Lucky Dip. This will give every one of our stats a random number, so our total could be higher or lower than the initial 30.
Tumblr media
That's... not great? So negotiating is maxxed out, which means we can really have our way in contract negotiations. Diplomacy is also high at 9, which means when incidents happen back stage we should be able to handle them better. Leadership of 5 is basically neutral, and would give us a passive bonus to backstage/locker room morale. Creativity of 3 is less than neutral, and handles Gimmick changes and Heel/Face turns. Silver Tongue at 1 is awful, that handles how we can talk workers into doing angles/matches they may not be jazzed about. Finally, Motivating is at 0 and this means our workers will likely have loads of "off" days. This is 28 points total, so we missed out on 2 points and the spread is bonkers. We cannot reroll this. We must move on.
Tumblr media
Next thing we can tinker with is Preferences. This will impact how our matches and promos are rated, which impacts how our shows are rated, which impacts how our audience perceives us, and on and on. There's a lot here, but I keep it on "Standard" from the drop down and also add "Enable Dirt Sheet" since that will tell us what is providing positive or negative impacts on matches and promos. It'll really help us figure out what is or isn't working on our shows!
Now we could start with an already established company (WWE, Impact, AEW, etc) with this, but I always prefer to make my own way in the world. We will start as Unemployed and make our own company!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here's our start screen. It's... a lot. This will be good to see when new wrestlers get generated, or when other companies go under or let go of people, but for right now we do not care about this. We care about the "Start Own Company" button. And I happened to throw together a logo and a name, so we should be good to set up True Power Wrestling. And it's time for yet another awful menu.
Tumblr media
This used to be better and worse in some ways. In the last game, TEW 2016, you used to build your own product based on a handful of different axis ("Mainstream", "Realism", "Comedy", etc.) and how important they were to the types of shows you were putting on so you could fine-tune what you wanted your audience to care about, and what may or may not be fit for television. It was a worse menu, but allowed you some cool options to really make the product you always wanted. In TEW 2020, the devs have effectively laid out that people were "gaming" the product setting system, and there's only so many distinct types of wrestling that exist or could exist, so they've just made a drop-down of all the wrestling products they think are possible. If you have an idea for a product type you think is missing from the game you can ask nicely on the forums and they will maybe add it in a future update.
I'm not gonna go over what each and every product is, but I'm going to use the Family Friendly Pro Wrestling product you see above. In my mind I'm thinking "what if my idealized version of 90s/2000s Cartoon Network had a wrestling show". 70/30 Match and Promo split for TV shows, 85/15 for events, wrestlers are rated 30/70 on in-ring performance vs popularity, and we really want the matches to be family friendly. No high-risk moves, no spinal-impact moves, and "called in the ring" means that our workers will know how long a match needs to go and who's winning, but otherwise no other planning is happening.
Additionally, I'm starting under the "Rock Hard" conditions. This means our company will be barely known, have 0 prestige, and start w/ $2,500 in the bank. We will be changing that dollar amount soon, but I love to play "Backyard to Global" style where we start as complete unknowns and see how popular we can get before I run out of steam.
Tumblr media
We have started True Power Wrestling. This will be our actual main screen, as this hellish menu will be how we make changes to our product. But first, let's see what the internet says Poppy's net worth is.
Uhhh I forgot how nightmarish those types of sites are, but the number I'm getting is between $1-3 Mil. I'll say Poppy is putting $1 Million of her own Net Worth into True Power Wrestling.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now we gotta start looking for workers. Poppy is a Personality, which means she'll talk on-screen and be a personality, but she's not gonna do any in-ring work. She will not take a pile-driver. So we gotta find literally everyone else: Wrestlers, Refs, Announcers, Commentators, Road Agents, & Managers. Let's look at the "Workers" tab.
Tumblr media
An overload of information, but! We're only looking for a couple things right now: Psychology, Popularity, if they will work for us, and if they are a good backstage presence. Psychology is just a rating of "can they tell a good wrestling story in the wrestling ring", so that'll be good for our actual show ratings. By clicking "Search" we can narrow down what workers will show up in this tab.
Tumblr media
I'm not going to go through every single worker we add this way, but know I'm messing around with these filters to get us workers. When I find a worker who looks like they may be a good fit, I click negotiate and I get this:
Tumblr media
Now you gotta make a contract offer. There are handshake deals and written deals, with either of them having the option to be "exclusive" so they can't work elsewhere. I usually try to make the numbers multiples of 10, and a little higher than what the game tells me to give just so the workers are in a good mood. As a backyard promotion, even with $1 Mil at your disposal, there is no way you're going to get exclusive deals this early on so I just make regular written agreements. This way everything is locked in for a set time and the payments don't fluctuate before contract negotiations, and if I let them go before the contract is up they gotta be paid which is just good for these digital workers.
When I do this, I usually make 2 templates at first: 1 Yr Wrestler and 3 Yr Worker. For wrestlers, especially just starting out your company, you don't know who is or isn't gonna work or be Your Guys, ya know? This way they get a year of work in (about 12 shows) and you can get a feel of who you wanna build around. For the 3 Yr, I keep that for Everyone Else. I think of it like superhero comics, ideally even if the writing team changes, there's some aesthetic connections and stability if you keep the pencilers/inkers/colorers the same. My commentary team, my refs, my on-screen personalities, my road agents, they are that aesthetic stability. And it means I don't have to worry about them on top of my wrestlers.
After spending the better part of 15-30 mins looking through the workers I can hire, here are notables: Shane McMahon (dunno what I'm gonna do with him, but it won't be in-ring work), Brian Zane (commentary, I watch this dude's YouTube videos!), and the Da Vinki guys (The Voros Twins! Guess I have to have a tag division for them). Usually what I'll do is grab who I can, about 10-20 wrestlers, 1-2 refs, 1 road agent, 2-3 commentary people, and then wait for the negotiations to come back. From there I can see who has tag partners I didn't hire yet, and see if I missed any other types of workers.
I still have other things to do while I wait. First, let's look at our Title situation.
Tumblr media
A normal menu. I'm going to create our Primary title, the True Power Title, and our Secondary title, the Rising Star title. True Power will be our World Heavyweight, the top title everyone has dreams of. Rising Star will be the stepping-stone, our equivalent of a US or Intercontinental title. Might even have it so in-universe the champ of the Rising Star title can vacate their title to make a True Power title match, add a little Money In The Bank flavor.
You can actually purchase a retired title, which is kinda handy! As a backyard promotion, the True Power title only has a prestige of 30. There are some on the market with 45 prestige! But I'll hold off on that, we'll wait to at least have our first year of shows before doing that.
Now... we wait. I don't have any workers, negotiations don't happen the same day, so we gotta move forward. I click those double arrows on the upper left hand side and tell the game to advance a week, for next Monday. The game stops at Wednesday, and we have some updates! The Voros Twins and Brian Zane wanna join in on this, along with about 5 other workers. A ref who I didn't realize was retired rejected us, but this is why we put out so many feelers!
Since we have Zane as a commentator we'll set him for every Event moving forward. We haven't scheduled any yet since we don't have our full roster just yet, but that's okay! We're ready. Let's move forward in time a little more, still aiming for Monday of Week 2, June 2023.
Thursday of Week 1, June 2023 and we get basically everyone else signed on. We've got a ref, we've got a road agent, we've got it all! We don't need a minimum number of wrestlers as we're such a small promotion, but we do need enough to run shows using a Heel/Face split (good guy/bad guy split) and we need at least one of each of those other non-wrestling positions.
I push us forward once more to Monday of Week 2, and we get stopped again. On Friday we sign Shane McMahon. My idea with him is to have him be some type of personality, probably a CEO trying to destroy True Power Wrestling? I dunno, we haven't even done our first show yet.
All this, and we still haven't run a show. And we still won't! I'm tired and don't wanna play anymore today lmao. Next time we'll plan and run our first True Power Wrestling show!
See ya!

Genuine question, what movies are you talking about in that post? Bc I can't think of any that fit that description but I'm also not a big movie person so I may just have been lucky with the ones I've seen dkjsfa
disclaimer! don’t @ me saying to watch better movies! i do! i just watch a LOT of movies! i like to see what’s going out there since i study media*
also i know this is badly written. i have not pulled myself together after a very long year and a half
this got rambly so i’m putting my tl;dr here: comedy feels stagnant to me, and that makes me feel weird when it comes to things (some of which are aimed at kids/teens)
okay so if you don’t watch a lot of movies you probably missed them! the kind of movies i was thinking about are mostly comedies that are aimed at teens but really just don’t feel right. just stupid forgettable movies that will have a random adult (maybe a teacher) make some comment about back in their day. and they just feel off in a very specific way where it’s like idk who is writing this but i don’t think they have a grasp of what is going on
probably due to being rich
i am terrible with titles and names and i’m currently in the wilderness so i’m not too confident matching scenes to titles
(also that post was slamming together a few themes i’ve seen repeated in different movies and shows and they are not all american. some are canadian/uk/australia but i use the ‘too movies’ or ‘too much (blank) on tv’ thing as a joke)
also some of the movies/shows are marketed to adults not teens. they also carry with some of those themes. um. working moms (show) is canadian and i’m not sure if they’re millennial or gen x but they have a lot of weird recurring issues with ‘ooh scary generation gap with my kids.’
and i think um. i’m trying to remember the name. idk it stars the australian woman who was in pitch perfect and she’s in a coma and wakes up 20 years later and goes back to school and they make the slur jokes. that is the one i watched most recently. i was having a hard time with trying to figure out who the target audience was… can’t remember the name and i watched it last week
another movie i can’t remember the name of that i think was marketed at teens also had the weird ‘oh the climate change protest kids just want attention’ gimmick that the movie with the pitch perfect woman had
is sarah jessica parker gen x? her new sec and the city show is Wild. one of the groups presentations in my media discourse class was about the representation of sexual minorities between the old sex and the city and the new sex and the city. i can try to find one of the articles they referenced in that because how the new one is almost more isolating is really interesting
which is kind of a trend? a ohh boo hoo don’t yell at me mean minorities!! i’m trying!! kind of vibe that runs through a lot of new movies/shows
like there is this distinct weirdness that is coming in with media created by white female comedians (i say female bc i tend to watch movies with female leads) amy palmer or pohler or whatever her name is. she has a movie out like 5 years ago? it had this teenage girl finding her mom’s old punk albums or something
but basically i had been watching a bunch of comedy things with female leads and so many are just weird. like it was leaving me wondering like what are the shows/movies teens are getting that feel somewhat authentic?
obviously movies are weird and there aren’t a lot of good ones that really stand out. and there have been constant jokes about how young people are portrayed in media for forever probably
but i think that movies are a good medium for comfort and hope, maybe especially for children and teens. you don’t have to have the energy to read to yourself. you can watch it when you’re doing something else with your hands. or are sick.
it’s the visuals. and the music. the way you can do something else while getting a story. they are very human.
and comedies are much harder to do than dramas. but they have a different sort of catharsis. i don’t know. people tend to downplay them as just stupid when there is a deep connection humans try to have through humour. i’m rambling but i just really love comedies and i love stories for children and stories for teens and i think they’re all downplayed as. being stupid. or easy. like you don’t have to try.
i’m sorry this just turned into rambling. maybe writers just went too far with the ‘set things in high school bc a.) kids will make emotional decisions that you wouldn’t see an adult character make b.) your characters are trapped in that environment c.) unlike college, they are trapped with other characters on mostly the same schedule and d.) they still see breakups etc as life and death situations’ advice that they give writers (this is paraphrased from several screenwriting guides i’ve read)
but idk i’m just bothered by the comedies i’ve been watching. and comedies do tend to show a lot about the current state of the world. comedies and horror are both downplayed genres that show a lot.
again sorry this is rambly. i don’t have energy to find my sources. there are interesting theories on comedy out there that just make me feel weird about what i’m seeing. like it’s so stagnant. that’s my tl;dr
most comedies i’ve seen lately seem stagnant
*i have a degree in this so i feel bad that i’m not pulling sources bc it feels like plagiarism at points

The Flash: Chronology
This is based on a concept I've had for the flash for a while now. Please enjoy reading this story. This takes place after all the events that occur in the current Flash run as of 7/18/2024-8/9/2024. So, if I get certain details wrong, you'll know why.
---
Professor Zoom returns, but he doesn't seem to remember everything. It's up to the Flash and his teammates to figure out whats going on.
---
Lesson to be Learned, part 1
My name is Barry Allen, and I am one of the Fastest Men Alive, and ever since becoming so, I have been able to notice the way the world changes around me. My connection with the Speed Force allows me to notice the differences in time and space. I first noted this when I started receiving visions of a nightmarish reality that I created all because I wanted to save my mother. But ever since then, I've noticed the smallest changes caused by all sorts of different things. Before Flashpoint, before I came back to my Family, before I died, I remember being the Flash in the late 1950s. But when I came back, I had been the Flash at a much later time period. It seemed that with every crisis event, my history and the history of others around me would change. It is a bizarre sensation being aware of this constant change. But I'm glad that I am, because I never want to forget again. Not after last time.
Slipping under police tape, CSI Barry Allen made his way over to the crime scene. It was an attempted robbery at Central City Bank by one of the Rogues, but only one Rogue. Barry had already heard the details of the villain's appearance: Green and Yellow suit, scruffy face, and a domino mask to go with. Uncovering the sheet to look at the dead body, Barry sighed as he immediately recognizing the victim even if he were laying on his chest. His name was Roscoe Dillon, also known as the Top.
Before Flashpoint, Roscoe was able to utilize telekinesis to create vortexes and move and speeds faster than myself. After, he became connected to the speed force and had joined the Legion of Zoom. Sometime after, his origin went back to how it once was before Flashpoint. Although, I can still sense that he's connected to the speed force, just differently. Although his connection is weaker than I remember.
"Mr. Allen? You're here before I am!" David Singh said as he walked over to Barry.
Barry smiled, "Yeah well, I got lucky I guess."
With Wally back as the Flash, I've been able to spend more time as myself rather than the Flash. Meaning, no need to hide who I really am as much.
Barry went back to looking at Roscoe's body, pulling the tarp away to see the five holes that had impaled Roscoe's backside. Barry frowned and looked back at Singh, "what did witnesses see?"
"A Bankteller told Officer Evans that she the Top was demanding money be given to him. When the security officers tried firing at him, he immediately created a twister to fight against them. Thats when he suddenly dropped dead with those five holes in his chest. The officers only fired two bullets that had been flung back at them."
"Huh..." Barry nodded to Singh, but noticed something directly behind him. It looked like a scorch marking, then Barry noticed another marking on a pillar. Then he saw one on the floor, the wall, and when he saw the broken glass of a window, he assumed that was where another scorch mark would be.
Singh followed Barry's stare at the shattered window, "What is it?"
"There's scorch marks everywhere," Barry noted, "a speedster did this."
"How do you know its a speedster?"
"My fiance did an interview with the second Flash. He explained that when speedsters run while using the Speed Force, they have frictionless aura surrounding their bodies. That frictionless aura is more so a shield that prevents them from burning up. That aura is also what generates the lightning they emit as the aura is still creating friction with the air around it. The random scorch markings are a trail that speedsters leave..."
"I see, so we have another evil speedster in our hands?"
Barry sighed as he stood up, "yup."
A few people come to mind whenever I hear the word "evil speedster". I would once think of August Heart, but that opinion has slightly changed. I haven't seen him since he was turned back to human. But I don't think this murder is on him, he's more brutal with criminals. Lately, my mind has been on Hunter Zolomon, aka Zoom. Wally and I sensed something leaving the speed force a while back, and I've been wondering if its him. But Roscoe was always one of my Rogues considering our history, and so Zoom killing him just to mess with Wally doesn't make sense. Then there's my Reverse-Flash, Eobard Thawne, and I know it isn't him. I took too many measures to make sure he wouldn't become the Reverse-Flash again. But when I see those five holes in Roscoe's back, I can't help but be reminded of when Eobard had force my dad to create a power theft glove to try to rip away my connection to speed force. I hope its not him, I don't what I'm going to do if it is him.
-
Glancing up at the pink and yellow banner labeled "The Flash of China", Wallace West and Avery Ho entered the exhibit with two separate lines of thought. Avery was looking over every single detail before gazing back at the statue of herself that looked exactly like her. Wallace on the other hand, trotted along, unenthusiastically gazing at each panel with a less than excited face. He had a few mentions of him in the Flash museum. Most notably in the Kid Flash section, but not much was said about him. He wasn't talked about as highly like Wally or as unique as Bart, he just felt like the third Kid Flash.
As he continued walking, Wally's shoulder bumped into someone. He immediately apologized, "sorry man, I didn't mean to run into you!"
"Oh that's quite alright, Wallace," said the english man with a brown coat and colorful scarf, "tell Barry that I said hi when you get the chance."
Wallace almost passed the individual until he realized he had said his name, "wait, how did you..." but when he looked back, the strange man was gone.
"Did you say something?" Avery asked Wallace.
"There was a british guy with a long brown coat and a colorful scarf just here a moment ago and he said my name," Wallace explained, "he told me to say hi to Barry?"
Avery smirked, "maybe he's just a friend of Barry's?"
Wallace shrugged, "maybe? But he was gone the second I looked away."
"Okay that is weird."
"Yeah..."
Suddenly, the speedsters felt something strange in the air. They could feel the speed force in something else nearby. The two looked to each other, and without a word, both knew what they were feeling. Without tapping into the speed force, but still quickly moving, Wallace and Avery quickly made their way to where they sensed something odd. They found themselves in the Reverse-Flash section, the area dedicated to all the people who held the title of the Reverse-Flash. Avery pointed over to an elder fellow with white hair and an elder look. Wallace recognized him from somewhere, but it was hard to put his thumb on where.
The old man's eyes darted all over the information board regarding Eobard Thawne's Reverse-Flash. His eyes then fixated on the identity of him, which was left as unknown. He seemed to grow angry from this sight, and muttered something quiet beneath his breath.
His head then jolted upright and he glared back at Avery and Wallace. The teen heroes were startled by this sudden act, and were creeped out even more so as the older fellow's smile creased across his face.
"Hello Wallace!" he said to the boy.
"Was that the guy you were talking about?" Avery asked in a whisper to Wallace's ear.
"Nope, he looked younger and sounded british," Wally said back. He then cleared his throat and stepped forward, "do I know you?"
The older man's smile faded to a disgusted frown, "so you really don't remember me?"
"I'm sorry, but no..."
"Well, then let me teach you how to remember..." A tornado swirled around the old man and began ripping apart the exhibit. Avery and Wallace quickly transformed into their uniforms as this storm destroyed everything. With super speed, Kid Flash and Flash V moved past the exhibit to quickly evacuate civillians from the museum. Yet as they did, both heroes would find themselves being attacked by an invisible force. When Kid Flash tried to help a lady out of the building, something pulled back his leg, causing him to trip and fall down the museum's stairs. He quickly reacted to the fall and got back on his feet, catching the woman and setting her back on her feet. As Flash V raced towards a group of school children, something yanked the back of her collar and threw her down hard. She lost almost all her breath from the swift attack, but still managed to get up and save the kids along with their teacher. Both speedsters ran back into the museum until someone caught them by their throats.
Wallace's eyes widened with shock, "oh my god!"
Although wearing his older yellow and black costume, Wallace was still able to recognize that this villain was in fact Professor Zoom, the Reverse Flash.
"Recognize me now, Wallace? It has been quite a while since we last met."

Lessons to be Learned, part 2
My name is Wallace West, and I am one of the fastest teens alive. And I am screwed...
Held by the metal gauntlet of Professor Zoom, Kid Flash struggled to get free. For whatever reason, he wasn't able to move fast enough to phase through Zoom's grasp of his uniform. Neither could Avery.
Today I was supposed to hang out with my best friend to look at the new Flash of China exhibit the Flash museum opened up, but now I'm being held up by the hand of Barry's greatest enemy: Reverse Flash! But he looks different. He's not wearing his usual costume. And...I feel his connection to the Speed Force. Didn't Barry say that Eobard was connected to the Negative Speed Force?
"I have a lot of questions, Wallace, and I hope that you can answer them well." remarked Eobard. He ran the two heroes back into the Flash Museum. He threw both of them into the wall of one of the exhibits, "I was fighting with Barry, and right as I was going to pull the speed force out of him so that I could take over Central City, I suddenly find myself here, in the future. Here I learn that after somehow losing, I would be struck with lightning that would gift me with the knowledge I had before. What happened?"
"You just said what happened, what do you expect me to say?" Kid Flash groaned to Professor Zoom.
"Why was I replaced with an idiot!" roared the professor as he gripped onto the fabric of Kid Flash's costume.
"That's a little egotistical to say" spoke a cheery voice, Professor Zoom looked back and saw that the Flash was standing right behind him with a cocky smile, "I mean he was still you after all."
Professor Zoom looked the Flash up and down, something wasn't right. This Flash's cowl covered his nose, the mask gave him white pupils, and he was more buff than Eobard remembered. He scoffed, "you're not Flash! You're some faker!"
Flash III laughed, "Wow! The idiot you're talking about also called me a faker! What are the odds?"
Frustrated with the hero, the color drained from Professor Zoom's surroundings sucker punched Flash's jaw. The scarlet speedster slowly fell to the ground from the quick attack before Zoom struck Flash again, kicking him in the ribs. However, very slowly, the color of Flash's costume returned as yellow and blue sparks covered his body. Just as Professor Zoom was going to strike again, Flash caught the punch.
"Woah, so you can deaccelerate time around you like Zolomon could to make himself seem faster! I haven't seen that in ages! Who did you say you were again?"
"Professor ZOOM!" he blasted Flash away with a quick whirlwind made by his arms. Flash cushioned his fall by doing the same and then bolted back to Eobard. Exchanging punches with each other, Flash did his best to move as fast as he could. But then, in an unexpected attack, Flash felt lightning course through his veins as his chest was suddenly impaled by the thin needles attached to his metal gauntlet. He let out an outcry that could be heard from all the conduits of the speed force.
Barry was enjoying lunch with Iris when he heard that outcry and Iris looked at him with worry, "what's wrong?"
"Wally...I need to go. I'll be back soon, I promise," Barry stood from the table and fired his costume from his ring. Quickly changing into his supersuit, he ran to the Flash museum.
I've never heard Wally cry out like that before. I can't be too late. I can't lose Wally again!
Barry didn't stop running when he entered the Flash museum. He immediately recognized the backside of the man responsible for Wally's outburst. He scowled and ran at Thawne.
I forgave him. I forgave him and he came back. I made sure that he couldn't, but he still did. This time, I won't be so forgiving.
"THAWNE!" Barry tackled Eobard off Wally and slammed him into a wall. In a fit of rage, Barry mercilessly hammered his fists against Eobard.
Never again will I be so forgiving! He took my kindness for granted, and this is what he'll get! A reminder not to mess with my family ever again! I will make sure that he never obsesses over me! or find a way to learn that he is the Reverse-Flash! I...
Barry finally noticed the uniform Eobard wore. It was the same costume he had before Barry defeated him and took him to Iron Heights prison. He looked at the metal glove Eobard had, the Power-Theft Gauntlet. This wasn't an Eobard from the known future, it was an Eobard from the forgotten past. Barry looked back to see Wally being helped up by Avery and Wallace. Wally smiled to Barry, and Barry could see that Wally's wounds had already healed. His connection to the speed force had remained.
Wally grinned at Barry, "Are you okay?"
Barry nodded to his former sidekick, "yeah..."
-
"...I think?"
Eobard had been quickly transported to Iron Heights prison after his swift defeat at the hands of Barry. As for Barry, he was multitasking between monitoring Wally and checking the DNA scan on Eobard Thawne inside the Speed Lab. Wally, Wallace, and Avery could clearly tell that their mentor's mind was all over the place.
Wally's connection to the speed force is slightly weaker than it was when I last checked. Eobard's DNA is an apparent match. A Speed Force Conduit's connection to the speed force can be measured through a person's natural electric current. How can this version of Eobard be back? Speed Force Conduits are natural energy reactors, our bodies are very easily trackable---
"DAD!" running into the Speed Lab, Irey and Jai lunged onto Wally, almost knocking him off his seat. Following them were Iris and Linda who held baby Wade in her arms.
"We heard you yell out through the speed force during class! It was awful!" exclaimed Irey.
"Are you okay, dad?" Jai questioned his father.
Wally laughed, "I'm fine kids, a little slower than I used to be, but I'm fine for the most part!"
"That's a relief," Linda said as she leaned over to kiss her husband.
Iris leaned against Barry as he stared at the monitor screen, immediately noticing the worry and fear on his face, "Eobard's back?"
"A version of him," he muttered, "the DNA is a match, the atomic structure of it doesn't seem to indicate its Eobard from another Earth. Iris, its him, but...I'm not entirely sure if it IS him. He didn't wear his usualy suit, he was wearing the same costume he had before he was struck by that lightning bolt in Iron Heights. He also had the device my dad made for him: the power-theft gauntlet. Wallace said that Eobard was confused over things being different. It can't be that Eobard was pulled from that point, that would create a time paradox, unless he's predestined to return to that point in time. But then there's this other thing I've noticed."
Barry tapped on the screen showing a display of energy readings. He pointed at the energy reading on top, "this shows that the Eobard I fought today was a Speed Force Conduit."
"Right," Iris nodded.
Barry then pointed to the below, "and, while hardly noticeable, he was also giving off small amounts of crisis energy. Energy that alters the timeline. It can create paradoxes, rewrite an entire multiverse. Stuff like that."
"Then someone or something with the power to alter time and space brought Eobard here."
"Maybe, I need to be sure of something though."
"And what's that?"
Barry looked at Iris nervously, "I have to go to the 25th century to make sure that was Eobard. The crisis energy may have brought him back here as well as changing his powers and memories. If he isn't there, I'll come back and return Eobard to where he belongs. If he is there, I'll make sure nothing happens to him."
Wallace, overhearing this conversation between his Aunt and Uncle-to-be, darted over and interjected, "Barry, I told you that Eobard remembers being taken from the point of your battle with him before he went to Iron Heights. Why do you think this is a future version of him?"
"Three reasons mainly. The crisis energy surrounding Eobard doesn't create a complete time paradox. The amount that is covering him is enough to propel someone back in time and give them what I call Chronological Displacement Induced Amnesia. Its amnesia of thinking that you're a previous incarnation of yourself due to time travel. The second reason is to say that because of that level of crisis energy is so low, that it can't create a complete time paradox. It's easier to travel back to the time before you were born than pulling your youngerself to where you are now. That leads me to my third reason: time traveling to the past can be dangerous for the timeline. There's a reason why I keep a lock on the cosmic treadmill that only allows it to travel between now and the future."
"I feel like you made some of that up?"
Barry sighed, "well, Crisis energy isn't fully understood yet, but its understood enough for that," Barry bolted to the cosmic treadmill and started activating the settings, "I'll be back in a second, don't worry."
"Barry, wait!" Iris called out for him.
Barry stopped walking and looked at his fiance, "what is it?"
"If Eobard is there, bring Wallace and Avery with you," Iris suggested, "I don't want you to be alone if he is there."
"If he is there, he can't hurt me, he's powerless."
"I don't mean just in case if there's a fight, Barry."
I immediately understand what Iris means, and I don't blame her. Despite my forgiving of Eobard's misdeeds, I'm still scared of him. Today proved that I still am. Wallace and Avery have proven time and time again that they are capable heroes. They could even use this opportunity to learn the ethics of time travel. Looking at both of them now, I can see that they want to do this badly. Maybe this isn't a bad idea? Although adjustments need to be made so that everyone can fit on the treadmill.
"Give me a second," Speeding around the lab, Barry quickly modified the cosmic treadmill, making it wider and longer. By the time he was done, it nearly didn't fit the platform it stood on. He looked at the teen heroes and smiled, "Avery and Wallace, wanna join?"
Avery and Wallace looked at each other with wide smiles and ran onto the cosmic treadmill. Everyone waved goodbye as the three speedsters began running together on the treadmill. Within seconds, the treadmill vanished and the heroes went away.
-End of Issue 2
Lessons to be Learned, Part 3
Dust and cobwebs were flung away as yellow, orange, and violete lightning sparked everywhere as the Cosmic Treadmill slowed down. Barry got off the treadmill fine, but Avery and Wallace were both completely out of breath.
"I was not expecting that to be exhausting!" Avery gasped.
"Same here!" added Wallace. He looked around and was perplexed by the dirty environment he was in, "what is this place?"
"The Speed Lab in the 25th century, heroes don't exist in this time period, well not traditional ones. There are the Renegades, but other than them, no one else here carries on the title of the Flash," Barry explained as he then just realized something, "before we explore, I just need to let you two know anything you see about yourselves in the Museum is not set in stone, okay? Yes, things that happened are set in stone for you guys, but not completely. Okay?"
Both of the teens nodded, "okay."
"Great, now lets change into civillian uniforms and search for Eobard."
"Uh, won't our regular civillian clothes not fit into 25th century fashion?" Wallace then asked.
Barry grinned.
---
Walking out from the Speed Lab, Barry, Wallace, and Avery walked awkwardly in their new 25th century uniforms. They were surprisingly comfy despite their odd design.
"I can see why clothes get designed this way in the future, they feel real nice," Avery said.
Wallace shrugged, "I mean yeah, but don't you think its odd that everyone basically looks the same wearing these things?"
"The same can be said by a man from the early 1900s traveling to the early 2000s," explained Barry, "At this point in humanity's history, we had come far to develop comfortable clothes that could be worn in all types of climates and environments year-round. I think the invention of such clothing is brilliant. And not all the clothes from our era have completely disappeared, it just looks like that."
"Like...Captain Cold's clothes?" Wallace asked.
Barry chuckled, "I mean yeah, but why him specifically?"
As soon as he finished that sentence, Barry saw Commander Cold checking in with a security officer.
When I undid all of Thawne's misdeeds, it revived Commander Cold along with his team called the Renegades. What's he doing here?
"Let's go. If I know Eobard, he'll be near my exhibit," Barry told the others.
The trivia of Barry's life were all presented in the vast hall dedicated to his Flash. A statue of his many costumes over the years stood in the middle. Yellow holographic display panels popped up every time Barry stood near a podium. Barry's search for Eobard distracted him from looking at these, but it didn't stop Wallace or Avery.
Neither could stop looking at what they learned about Barry's past. Avery chuckled seeing that one of the first villains Barry had ever fought was an iron-based humanoid. Wallace almost laughed out loud seeing that his Uncle's discovery of the multiverse happened while entertaining kids while climbing a rope. Both tried to be respectful over the day Flash weighed 1,000 pounds, but it was too ridiculous to take seriously.
"What's so funny?" somebody asked Wallace.
"Oh sorry, its just reading the Flash's adventures are kind of...funny," when Wallace turned around, he immediately became speechless with shock. Avery turned as well, noticing her friend's reaction to this museum's curator. It then dawned on her on who this was.
The curator chuckled, "yes, the second Flash's adventures can be seen as ridiculous at times, but I assure you that they're not all as hilarious. Sometimes they're tragic and devastating. I'm particularly fond of his adventures against the Reverse Flash."
Barry heard that familiar voice only a distance away, and looking back he could see the fear and shock in the eyes of the kids. He then saw who was speaking, and he felt chills surge down his spine. It was Eobard. Eobard was here.
I thought I would be ready for this moment. I always think that when I come to check in on him. But I never am. Even now, I'm not ready. Wallace and Avery don't look comfortable. Guess its time for Flash to save the day.
Barry rushed over and put on a fake smile, "Ace-Wall, Avoir, I was wondering where you two were!"
Ace-Wall?
Avoir?
Eobard looked over and smiled, "Well, well, well! If it isn't Henry Allen! I never know when I'm going to see you next!"
Both the teen heroes looked at Barry bewildered again to seeing that he was aquainted with Eobard already. Barry chuckled, "aha, yeah, I see you've met my nephew and his friend?"
Eobard smiled back at the teenagers, "yes, they're giggling at the second Flash's adventures. I overheard their laughter and couldn't help but wonder why."
Barry smirked at them, "you stumbled upon Flash's sudden weight gain?"
Wallace sighed, "yeah, it's kind of ridiculous in my opinion."
Eobard scowled at Wallace before Barry regained his attention, "so, Eobard, anything been going on recently? How's life?"
As he talks to me, I don't feel his connection to the speed force, and the little amount I do feel is from the small connection I gave him. He hasn't realized he's reverse Flash Yet, and hopefully, now that I'm here never will.
Suddenly, the Flash Museum's alarms started blaring loudly, startling everyone. The overhead speaker turned on, and a robotic voice started to speak through, "ALERT! ALERT! META-HUMAN ATTACK IN PROGRESS! PLEASE, SAFELY AND CALMY EVACUATE!"
The heroes all glanced at each other with confusion. Barry shook his head to Avery and Wallace, but something about this felt off.
No Meta-Human based crimes in Central City happened in the 25th century. The only ones that did happen occured because of Eobard's manipulation. Is this an attack from someone new?
"Alright everyone! Evacuate the building, let's get a move on," insisted Eobard as everyone began leaving the the exhibit in a hectic manner. Suddenly, something crashed through the entrance of the Flash Museum right as everyone was evacuating. It was one of the Renegades: Heatstroke. He groaned as he stood up and looked back at the civillians.
"Get through the fire exits! The front isn't--" Heatstroke was cut off as a bolt lightning suddenly coursed through his body. He collapsed to the floor as the attacker blasted through. The speedsters quickly changed into their costumes to quickly catch the broken shards of glass and other shrapnel that had been flung at the museum's guests. After catching all the glass, the three heroes stood ready to fight whoever this villain might be.
Stepping through the wreckage, a man dressed in slim white armor stepped through. Barry recognized the spiral shape on the man's chest as well as the unique helmet. It was Raijin, the self-proclaimed God of Lightning. However, Barry's attention was pulled away when he heard Eobard's voice.
"...Henry?" Barry looked back in horror as he saw Eobard look at him in shock and awe, "You're the Flash?!"

Lessons to be Learned, part 4
My name is Barry Allen, and I made a rookie mistake only a minute ago.
As fast as he could, Barry swept civillians off their feet to carry them to safety away from the Flash Museum. The last of which was Eobard, and he could feel his ex-nemesis' stare on him.
The supervillain known as Raijin, a pawn of Grodd, has somehow appeared in the 25th century. Avery, Wallace, and I changed into our costumes as the Renegades are seemingly helpless against Raijin's power. But in doing so, I accidentally exposed my change in front of Eobard. I'll have to explain myself later. Right now, I need to stop Raijin.
Running towards Raijin, Barry noticed something peculiar about the electric villain. He did not wield his lightning wand, and the shape of his armor was different, somehow they had been augmented. The tech reminded him of something, he just couldn't place his finger on what. Suddenly, Raijin's head twisted at the Flash and aimed his gauntlet at him. Lightning sprung at the gauntlet and latched onto Barry. He then swung the Flash around like a wrecking ball, striking Avery and Wallace down.
"Ow! What the hell just happened?" groaned Wallace.
"It felt like Raijin grabbed my speed force aura. He was even able to react to me at super speed," Barry noted, "he's upgraded his tech."
"Yeah, but with what?" Avery questioned.
A beam of frost struck against Raijin, freezing him solid. Barry looked over at the shooter and saw Commander Cold with Weather Warlock at his side. Barry smiled and waved him over, "Commander, over here!"
Commander Cold, Leonard Snart's future counterpart, and a friend of mine. He remembers everything up until his unexpected death at the hands of Captain Cold. I catch up with him every time I go to check on Eobard.
"Flash, glad to see you! Raijin has sent the rest of the Renegades to the ICU, so we could really use your help. That ice blast isn't going to hold him off forever," the Commander explained to the scarlet speedster.
"How did Raijin get in the 25th century?" Barry asked.
"Don't know. He showed up a few weeks back and has been making periodic attacks since. He was able to steal alien technology from a race called the Fraction and used it to upgrade his gear."
Barry's eyes widened, "The Fraction! That explains everything! Raijin wasn't fully connected to the speed force when I last fought him. He must have found the tech and used his limited connection to the speed force to power his armor."
Avery leaned over to Wallace and whispered, "the Fraction?"
Wallace leaned over to Avery and whispered back, "Aliens that use the speed force to strip planets of their resources in under one minute. You were busy with something else when we had to fight them."
"I see," nodded Avery, "did we win?"
"Yes and no, it's complicated. We had rewrite time."
"Ah."
Suddenly, the ice concealing Raijin began to crack as lightning began spewing out. The heat from the intense electric currents were causing the ice to evaporate, and within thirty seconds.
"A simple block of ice cannot stifle my godly power, Commander. You should know that by now!" Raijin aimed his gauntlet at Cold, "now you will pay for you insulance!"
Barry tackled down the Commander right as a bolt of lightning fired at him. Raijin growled at Barry's heroism and used his lightning to cling onto Barry. He threw the superhero into the sky. In retaliation, Wallace and Avery ran at Raijin, but again the false God of Lightning grabbed their speed force aura and slammed the two together.
"The future holds many things, knowledge is one," explained Raijin, "The Fraction returned to earth during the 23rd century, and this time Earth was prepared for their arrival, but so were they. These Velocielectrokinesis Gauntlets are capable of tugging at your speed force connection, preventing physical contact at any degree. While these initially proved useful in battle, but Earth found a way around them. And it seems that knowledge has been forgotten.
Hail was fired against Raijin by Weather Warlock. In a simple act, Raijin bolted toward the costumed policeman and clawed into him. The vice grip he had on Warlock's clothes was followed by an immense electrocution of the villain. Commander Cold fired his ice guns repeatedly, but Raijin simply melted the ice that was meant to grow over him. He threw Warlock at Cold, knocking them over and charged up an electric blast. But Barry returned to deliver a solid punch against Raijin's mask. Again, he was caught by Raijin's V.E.K. Gauntlet and thrown aside. Focusing on the Flash again, he launched the electric blast at Barry, shocking him severely.
"Did you really think I was that distracted? I am the God of Lightning, Flash! I can feel the electricity that you emit as you ran towards me. There is no hope for you yet!"
Wallace and Avery ran over to Flash and helped him up. He was in pain but it was nothing he couldn't heal from.
"Flash, he said that the gauntets have a weakness that everyone in the future seemed to have forgotten," Avery quickly explained to Barry.
"That kind of knowledge can't be entirely forgotten, maybe just by the public," Barry looked back as a clever idea formed, "I'll be back, keep Raijin occupied from a distance. Avoid being seen from him and fling projectiles at him, got it?"
Both of them nodded and Barry ran away.
---
Bolting over towards the crowd of civillians, Barry searched the crowd for one person in particular.
If there is anyone who knows anything about Speed Force related events, it's Eobard. Just have to find him again.
"Is your name really Henry, Flash?" Eobard asked.
Barry turned around and saw his former enemy, seemingly confused by what he had just learned. Barry looked around and at super speed, took Eobard into a secluded area. He pulled off his mask and sighed, "No, my real name is Barry Allen. Henry is just my middle name."
My heart is racing at this moment. Eobard could remember everything just by knowing my name. Or maybe I'm worrying too much?
"Why did you lie to me?" Eobard asked, "we've been friends for a while, I don't understand. Your identity isn't even public, you could have told me that your name was Barry."
Barry thought about telling Eobard the truth, but hearing the commotion going on nearby, he realized that this conversation can wait, "Look Eobard, I have reasons, I will tell you them later, but right now, Raijin has hands on 23rd century Fraction technology. He's using it to grapple onto our speed force auras and supposedly there is a weakness but nobody can remember it. But I know that since you're an expert on all things speed force related that you would know what that weakness is. Please help me."
"...yeah, there is. You're still able to move when the V.E.K. Beam catches you, its just harder to. You have to focus enough that you can create an electric current that overwhelms the V.E.K. Gauntlet's current. That way you can break free."
"Okay, thank you. I will come back to explain everything," Barry told Eobard. Sparking up with yellow lightning, Barry ran back to the fight. Raijin was throwing Avery and Wallace around like rag dolls, cackling wildly at the abuse of his power. The teens smiled seeing their mentor return and Raijin sensed Barry's approach. Just as he was about to turn around to smack Barry with Wallace, Barry phased under the ground to avoid the attack. Wally was flung away, but caught himself with a whirlwind cushion he made. Barry phased back up and ran at Raijin.
"Flash! What are you doing?!" Avery yelled at him.
"Getting caught!" Barry yelled back as Raijin snagged him by his lightning. He dropped Avery to the floor to focus his other gauntlet's beams.
"Don't try and stop me! The more I pull from the Flash's power using my Velocielectrokinesis Gauntlets, the stronger I shall become!" Raijin cackled.
"So that's what V.E.K. stands for," Barry commented as he began vibrating his molecules at faster speeds. The yellow electricity that covers his body as he ran started to overtake the blue lightning that kept him in the air. The yellow lightning traveled over to Raijin's gauntlets. Once they made contact with the technology, the devices exploded, blasting Raijin into the ground, defeating him.
---
As the police and ambulances got everything in order, Barry explained to Avery and Wallace about what happened.
"You weren't worried that he may have been lying to you?" Wallace asked Barry.
"I was, but I think he's changed for the better," Barry said to Wallace.
"Then that means the Professor Zoom we saw wasn't him?" Avery asked.
"No it was him, just not the version of him that we're familiar with," Barry glanced at the police truck holding Raijin as he was being taken away to Iron Heights. He looked back at the crowd and spotted Eobard was amongst them, "I need to go speak with Eobard. I promised him that I'd tell him...everything."
Wallace and Avery looked to each other in surprise. Wallace looked back at Barry, "do you need us to go with you?"
"Just go wait in the Speed Lab, I'll be back soon."
Moving Eobard into another secure area, Barry unmasked himself. The memory of that obsessive look Eobard would glare at him with flashed in his memory.
He's changed. You know he's changed, Barry. You made sure of it.
"So, why have you been lying to me, Barry?" Eobard asked.
Barry looked at Eobard and thought about what he needed to say to Eobard, "I want to start by saying...you may need to sit down for this."
I tell him everything. How we really first met. How he became the Reverse Flash just from knowing that he would become him. How he ruined my life and ruined the lives of others just to hurt me and my family. All as I tell him, he looks horrified by what I say.
"I hated you so much...I can remember that now," Eobard seemed disgusted with himself. Barry turned pale, wondering if this was Eobard's return to becoming the Reverse Flash. But when Eobard looked at Barry, it was obvious that he didn't seem mad at him, "but...why am I here now? How are you here now?"
"I created a Flashpoint when I went back in time to save my mother. Somehow you became a living paradox when that happened as you were running in the time stream when that happened. I undid the Flashpoint, so you killing my mother will have always happened. Then during our last battle, I became your lightning rod, which sent you back to the future and removed your paradoxical nature. You still killed my mom, but you never became the Reverse Flash. And to make sure you never did, I gave you the best life possible. I did the reverse of what you did to me. I gave you a loving family, great friends, made sure you were on medication and got therapy. And most of importantly, I made sure that you would never learn that you became the Reverse Flash. My visits were to make sure you would never become him again. And this time, I came back to the future thinking you did, but now I don't think thats going to happen."
"What makes you say that?"
"Something weird is going on with time. An old version of you was pulled from the past to my modern day and now Raijin has been pulled here. And yet, nothing seems out of the unordinary with my present."
Eobard stood up with Barry and together they shook hands.
"Are you going to come and see me again?"
"Yeah, just promise to not become a speedster."
"I swear!" laughed Eobard. Barry pulled on his mask and just as he was about to leave, Eobard called out for him, "Hey Barry?"
"Yeah Thawne?"
"Thank you for forgiving me."
Barry smiled, "you're welcome."
And upon saying that Barry left Eobard in a spark of yellow lightning.

Lessons to Be Learned, Part 5, Epilogue
In a bright flash of light, the Cosmic Treadmill returned to the present time. Wally, Linda, their kids, along with Iris were all still there. Nothing had changed, and Barry was glad to see that. Wallace and Avery were immediately swarmed by the West Twins, who immediately began interrogating them with questions about the future. Barry gathered with the other adults to explain what is happening.
"You saw Raijin in the future?" Iris asked Barry.
"Uh who's Raijin?" Wally then asked.
Barry answered both immediately, "yes; think of Raijin as Savitar but as the God of Lightning and as a pawn of Grodd."
"So then Grodd's behind this?" Linda asked.
Barry shook his head, "No. Before I came home, I checked the energy surrounding Raijin. It's Crisis Energy; it was fading but its there. I spoke with Raijin and according to him, that our fight in the future was our first fight. He was still in the shadows with Black Hole when he was pulled out of the future."
"How do you know it isn't that Chronological Displacement Induced Amnesia thing you mentioned before?" questioned Wally.
"I mainly thought that because I didn't trust Thawne to completely stay out of my life. But now with Raijin in the 25th century, I think this is something else..." Barry started to think and glanced at Iris.
Iris raised her eyebrow and gave Barry a knowing smile, "You're thinking about traveling time to find more things lost in time, aren't you?"
Barry nodded, "yeah, once I upgrade the cosmic treadmill so I can trace crisis energy without falling into one of the major crisises."
"Are you going to bring us?" Wallace asked as he bolted over to Barry.
"I mean you brought us to the future, you might as well take us to the past," insisted Avery.
Barry sighed with a smirk as he looked at Iris, "Well Iris, does that sound like a good idea?"
"They could use the experience of time traveling, just make sure not to get them killed."
"Alright then," Barry looked over to the kids, "I'll call you guys when I'm done upgrading the treadmill. It may take a while even with super speed."
The kids excitedly thanked Barry before running off to do other things. As Avery went to go visit her parents and Wallace went over to Titans Academy, Barry began working on the upgrades to the cosmic treadmill. Wally helped with the mechanics and engineering as Barry worked on the technology that would track Crisis Energy.
"Y'know Barry, since you are going to be time-traveling with more people, don't you think you should have something like a trailer?" Wally asked Barry.
Barry looked up from his desk confused, "huh? oh, why do you say that? We're usually not in one place for long."
"Well, let's say the problem you're experiencing takes more that one day. Shouldn't you and the kids have a place you can always rest in, store snacks, and spare costumes? It sounds convenient to me!"
Barry thought for a moment and considered it, "yeah, a Cosmic Treadmill-Trailer does have its perks. But also there's disadvantages to having one. It'll be big, noticeable and most importantly it may not withstand the wear and tear of time travel."
Wally laughed, "you can leave those problems to me!"
Wally then ran away in a flash of lightning, often running back to the Speed Lab to add onto the Cosmic Treadmill. All the while, Barry focused on his Crisis Energy detector.
For some reason, my mind keeps coming back to the first and fourth crisis. I remembered how painful it was for my body to rapidly deteriorate, but how I also didn't die. I woke up and began running from the Black Racer, for what felt like Eons. I didn't need to come back, I didn't plan on it. I questioned why I did come back, there was no more need for me anymore. I stopped questioning that after Flashpoint, mainly because I was forced to forget everything, but it also felt like I had purpose again. Now I'm back to questioning why I am needed as Flash with Wally's return. I thought about retiring, but I can't stop doing this, I love being the Flash! Maybe this is my new path? Barry Allen, not just one of the Fastest Men Alive, but the Fastest Time-Traveler Alive. I know that my history with Time Traveling hasn't been great, but I'll keep Flashpoint as a reminder not to mess with time to that great of an extent.
---
Two weeks later, Wallace and Avery entered the Speed Lab to immediately find a giant machine sitting where the Cosmic Treadmill once was. It was a beautiful red machine with yellow highlights. It resembled the long front of a bullet train.
Covered in grease and muck, Wally leaned to side of these machine and slapped the metal, "meet the Cosmic Treadmill-Trailer, kids. Aka, the C.T.T."
Avery was enamored by the CTT's, "It's...it's..."
"Isn't it a bit, y'know, eye-catching for a time machine?" Wallace asked.
Wally snickered, "It is has some gifts from Terrifitech in there to allow for perfect camoflauge. So don't worry about that."
Avery ran inside the CTT, and explored the place, "woah, it looks slightly bigger on the inside."
Wally snorted a little, "a time machine thats bigger on the inside, hilarious."
Wallace entered the CTT and looked around before coming to a stop at the front of the ship, "is that the cosmic treadmill?"
It was a running platform that looked similar to the treadmill, but there was display of buttons and monitors for all sorts of things. It looked like a plane's piloting cockpit without the steering wheels.
Wally poked his head into the cockpit and nodded, "yup! Barry will act as the CTT's pilot and monitor all the buttons."
"Speaking of Barry, where is he?" Avery asked.
Wally tapped his foot as he tried to think, "uuuuuh, Gotham. He's in Gotham, Batman wanted to speak to him before Barry left."
---
In the Batcave, Batman scowled at Barry unhappily as he spoke with him.
"You know the consequences of messing with time, Barry," Batman reminded Barry, "Have you learned nothing from what Dr. Manhattan did?"
"Bruce, I know this seems like a terrible idea, but I can feel something messing with the time stream," Barry insisted, "I know that Professor Zoom and Raijin aren't the only ones displaced in their personal timelines. I haven't found a connection yet, but theres something going on! And its not like you can stop me."
"No, I cannot," Bruce turned, "but what are you going to do when you find these people or things displaced by crisis energy?"
Barry pulled out something from his pocket, a small device resembling the emblem on his chest, "once attached, this Time Chip will absorb the crisis energy then redistribute the energy back into the target sending them back in time. In theory of course."
"You haven't tested it on Zoom or Raijin?"
"Raijin is secure in the 25th Century's Iron Heights and his personal timeline with me has already been altered. Sending him back could be a bad idea. As for Zoom, I don't want to test it on him. He's become too dangerous to be sent back to his time period. He already stole some of Wally's speed. He could kill me and alter the timeline further."
"So what's the point of building a chip then?"
"The plan is to go back in time right as the crisis energy sent someone. Before they can learn anything or do anything, the chip will be attached to them and send them back to wherever and whenever they came from."
Batman walked over and took the chip from Barry, examining it closely, "Barry, there's a million ways that this device can malfunction all because you were too scared to test it on Zoom or Raijin. You need to be certain, very certain, that this plan of yours will work. Understood? I don't want you to have blood on your hands because of this."
Barry solemnly nodded, "Yes, Bruce."
Barry ran out of the batcave and back to central city and stood at the entrance of Iron Heights.
Bruce was harsh about it, but he is right. I need to be very certain about this. If I don't test the Time Chip, I'll be an idiot. So, I explain to the Warden about what I've developed and he allows me into this Eobard's cell. This is a risky move, I could end up killing Eobard or this does nothing at all.
Mechanical wires push Eobard out slowly. Several power dampeners are latched onto his neck, arms, and legs. He looked at Barry and grinned.
"Hello, Flash," he said insidiously.
"I'm going to send you back in time to whenever you came from, Thawne," Barry explained calmly, "I don't know if this will strip you of your gained power or your new memories, but I designed it to send you back."
"So much power in such a tiny little device..."
Barry pressed the chip onto Eobard and activated it, "I'm mostly using the time energy you're covered in. Goodbye, Professor Zoom."
"Oh, we'll meet..." suddenly, Eobard evaporated into nothing. The metal of his power dampeners clanged against the floor.
I don't move, not for a second. I'm worried that I should've said goodbye to Iris before doing this, but its too late for that. Nothing feels wrong, not yet at least. No new memories come to mind, none of my new death at least. I'm alive, I am still alive.
Barry nodded to the warden and ran off to the Flash Museum.
---
"...again. What?" Eobard was perplexed by the place he found himself in. It was a rocky environment with an atmosphere shimmering with blue cosmic fires. A loud roaring was constantly echoing through this place and when he looked up at the source of the noise, he was both intrigued and horrified by the sight. An abyss in the shape of a strange rectangular box.

Fair For The Year (Kodoku’s Lilacs, The Life of a Flowstar, No. 105)
So this year may be the last year of me going to a fair as a kid, and I gotta say, it was fun. At first, I kinda didn't want to go because a mood swing was taking effect and it wasn't looking good. It may have also been taking place because I lost my "I love you" ring somewhere in my house, and it brings me comfort looking at it. This fair was one I've been at, it's not a big fair, but it can fit some rides like a couple ferris wheels.
Basically, the rides I went on are these two ferris wheels, a haunted house ride, and that one where you're sitting in a little thingy and spinning it around while moving in circles. Apparently, one of my friends was there too, he seen me and I seen him, but we didn't make any contact, just after. I did see him running around on one of the ferris wheels. And most of the rides, I was sitting with one of my brothers, and the last one, which is a double ferris wheel that has a name that I forgot, I remember he was scared lol. I was teasing him out it, even saying "We're birds" whilst on the ride too lol, just being a little brother in general.
After that, we went and got me another ring, plus a new necklace. The new ring has a blue like gem on it while the necklace had a double axe crossing. After that, we looked in this place where people submit their homemade stuff, including a homemade skateboard, it was cool seeing. And lastly, we had some dinner right before we got home, the food was yummy and maybe we could go here again when I'm an adult.
There's a couple other stuff we did there that I didn't mention, but nevertheless, it brightened my mood a little bit. There's not exactly many places around here that are like the fair, so I'm lucky to do it, especially since this is my last year of childhood. I wish there really was a special way to get rid of the random anxious feeling that I had, it really threw the mood off. But in the end, we all had some fun and seen something nice on the way up. Oh well, hope yall have a good night!
Sincerely, Kodoku.

I think it's finally time I do my general Sonic headcanons! I've been on a huge Sonic, Knuckles, and Shadow brainrot JADJAN
You can find my Shadow headcanons on my blog!
Tumblr media
We all know Sonic, the lovable cocky hedgehog! He always seems to find himself in another scenario where he has to stop Robotnik's plans and help his friends
Sonic is one hell of an extrovert, bringing his happy-go-lucky personality everywhere he goes. He can get cocky and annoying at times, but I believe he is rather humble. He can brag, but he never strokes his own ego very much! ("Team Sonic" should still be named "Team Hero" smh)
Sonic always finds a way to bring his friend's spirits up, even if it means bailing on something else. If a friend is sad, he'll stay and cheer them up instead of going to an event! Everyone's happiness, including his own, is priority #1 for Sonic.
Sonic does get a little embarrassed by his friends in public though, he wants to keep his confident image, not look soft! However, this 'cool guy' facade completely drops the moment his friends look sad, angry, uncomfortable, etc.
Sonic loves going on runs through nature! He works so hard to protect every part of nature, he loves traveling to national parks and finding secret groves.
ALL About adventure! Boredom is never something on his schedule, if he's bored then the world is ending I swear, if you want to force him to sit down for a while he will become the most annoying little shit
Sonic most definitely has a twitch account and streams inconsistently. It's something there for him to do when he's bored and wants to play games.
Sonic actually hates being alone for long periods of time! That's another reason why he streams, is when he's lonely and wants to interact with someone.
Sonic is actually a rather patient hedgehog! He's willing to slow down for the people he cares about, he never wants anyone to feel unsafe around him.
Sonic, when you can actually get him to wear clothes, prefers 90s style, bright colors, hoodies, holographic clothes, and generally clothes that look great and colorful on him.
Sonic's music choice is rock, high-energy music, and generally anything that sounds good. He's willing to try out new things, and can enjoy a variety of things!
Sonic makes sure to greet everyone he meets when walking around. It doesn't matter what they look like, who they are, or what they're doing, he will make sure to say hi while running by!
As I said earlier, a HUGE extrovert. When you're with him, you WILL interact with random people, he doesn't know how to keep his mouth shut!
His mouth works faster than his brain, and he will say almost everything on his mind. He is forward and honest with everyone unless it's something he would prefer to keep to himself!
Sonic is very active on social media, and loves interacting with fans. He will respond to almost everything he gets, will always stop to take selfies with anyone who asks, and is the least controversial celebrity you will ever meet!
I think Sonic would enjoy receiving flowers and gifts, he would display them all around his house! He doesn't throw away a single one- unless it's something gross, like a small child tried to give him a half-eaten lollipop- he would still take it to avoid hurting their feelings but would throw it away and wash his hands later.
Two words. Self. Care. Sonic takes care of himself and makes sure to treat himself, and definitely makes sure all his friends do the same! He makes sure everyone eats at least 3 meals a day, drinks at least 1 glass of water, and takes showers at least twice a week. Self care is very important for everyone!
Tumblr media
I may have missed a few things, but I really like Sonic as a whole! I'm an autistic person with ADHD and often forget to take care of myself due to hyperfixating on drawing all day. Thinking of Sonic actually gets me thinking of taking breaks to eat and drink, he's like a comfort character!

How You Meet the Cullens + Jacob
Hi! I've decided I'm going to put some of my stuff from Wattpad, over here. If you want to see my Wattpad, its the same username as I have here. Anyway, this is how you meet the Cullens, + Jacob. Probably intended for female readers, but it could mostly go either way... I think. And I do have the girls as well in here.
Edward Cullen:
Edward and you met at school. Of course.
"Um, excuse me?" You asked a small girl, with short brown hair.
She turned around, revealing her pale white skin, and beautiful golden eyes.
"How can I help you?" She asked.
"I was wondering where Mr. Molina's classroom is?" You replied.
"Oh, yes. I can show you the way!" She grabbed your hand, and pulled you down the halls. (Wow, this is turning into an Alice preference)
"Thank you!" You said, when you two arrived at the classroom.
She pointed inside the room, towards a beautiful boy, with golden hair, and dark, dark, eyes. He glared at her, with his hand over his mouth. I turned to look at her, and she winked back at him.
"Uh, thank you. Oh, I never got your name." You said.
"Alice. Yours?" She asked, still smiling.
"Y/N."
"Well, Y/N, looks like you'll be sitting next to my brother, Edward, in there." She waved, and skipped away.
I walked inside the class, towards the boy, and sat down. He looked away, took a deep breath, then turned back to me.
"Hi, um, I'm Y/N. You're Edward, right?" I asked.
"Yes. I-I am." He seemed like he was in pain or something.
Weird.
Jacob Black:
I had lived in the outermost part of Forks for as long as I have lived. (Sounds like a wedding vow)
We were right next to the border of La Push. Therefore, I go to the school in the reservation.
(I have absolutely NO clue what the school is like there, so I'm making it up)
But, I didn't really talk to anyone. I had a few friends from down in the more central part of Forks, Bella Swan was one of them. She recently moved here full time. I hadn't seen her since I was little.
There was this one kid named Jacob who I had met a couple of times, mostly when he played with Bella snd I while our parents went fishing or whatever.
But, since Bella was going to school in Forks, I decided I would try and re-connect with this Jacob, to see if I could hang out with him.
So, I asked around one day at school for what classes he was in, and found out that he was in one of my classes. How did I never notice? Oh, just me and my oblivious self. (Sorry, if you're like- not oblivious?)
Well, I found him one day.
"Jacob, right?" I asked him.
"Oh, yes, oh, oh! Y/N! Hi!" He seemed to be a very nice boy.
"Yes, it's me. Um, I haven't talked to you in years, I'm surprised you remember my name." I explained.
"I'm surprised you remembered mine." He laughed.
"So, uh, I"m kind of wondering if you want to like, hang out or something. Anywhere works. I just need some company." (Bella who?)
"Sire! You could come by my house today after school and we can catch up. Do you like cars?" He asked.
"Depends." I laughed in response.
"Well, you can come help me too. I like to re-build them."
"Sounds like a plan."
Emmett Cullen:
(for this one you are a vampire already, and yes I basically stole Rosalie's life. Also, if I get facts wrong, don't come for me, just tell me *kindly* and I will fix it)
I became a vampire in 1920. Two years after my brother Edward, and one year before my mother Esme.
I'd been a vampire for 15 years already. How time flies
One day I was running through the forest when I heard screams coming from a small patch. I sprinted towards the place, and saw a boy, probably 20, getting attacked by a bear. I shoved the bear off of him instantly, and bit into it, getting it's blood.
I remembered that the boy was watching, and was probably shaken up, not to mention, he was most likely dying. I turned back towards him, wiping a small bit of blood off of my lip, and said,
"Hello, I'm Y/N Cullen."
"E-Emmet. How did you do that?" He asked, very weakly.
"I have my ways. What hurts?" I asked.
"Everything." Of course-
"I'll be right back. Don't move." Not that he really could. I sprinted back to my house. I opened the door, and Carlisle, Esme, and Edward turned towards me.
"Y/N? What is it?" Carlisle asked.
"There's a boy, Emmett. He got attacked by a bear. He's very weak. You need to turn him Carlisle."
They all sprinted into the woods, and I led them towards where Emmett lay. He was still there, but weaker.
Jasper Hale:
(you're a vampire)
Jasper became a vampire in 1863. (I think)
He was telling me his story.
I had recently been turned into a vampire by Carlisle, after he rescued me, and I hadn't really met the rest of the family yet. (You can make up why you had to become a vampire)
When Jasper had finished the story, I said, "Wow."
"That's all I could get out. His story was just, wow....
I forgot, Edward could read my mind. I only remembered when he chuckled after I thought that.
I gave him an internal glare.
Bella was sitting in the corner, with him.
"So, Y/N, tell us your full story." Jasper smiled.
(Sorry, his is kind of short..)
Carlisle Cullen:
It was my first day working at the Forks Hospital and I needed some directions.
I walked up to mid-height man, with blonde hair, and very pale skin.
"Hello, sir?" I asked him, and he spun around.
"Yes, Ms. Y/L/N?" He asked.
"H-how do you know my last name?" I asked in response.
"I heard someone talking about you coming, and you're the only new face around here. We don't get them often." He smiled, and my heart fluttered. Good thing he wasn't like a super-hearer or anything. {;)}
"Well, uhm, I was just wondering where the surgical ward is?" He pointed towards the left, and I smiled slightly, walking away, and quietly looking back at him after I was sure he couldn't see me.
Alice Cullen:
(You had already seen Alice before, but never interacted with her much, like most of the students)
I was walking around in the forest, when I heard footsteps.
"Hello?" I called out.
"Y/N!" A girl replied, I noticed it was Alice Cullen.
"Oh, hello, Alice." I was a bit confused to how she knew my name, but to be honest, I knew her's too and that's a bit strange. But, everyone does talk about the Cullens.
"What are you doing out here in the forest?" She asked me. I didn't have a valid answer. I could say "Just felt like taking a stroll..." or "Oh, I'm working on my steps." but, none of those were true, I really didn't know what I was doing here.
"Uhm, working on my steps, and taking a stroll....??" I questioned myself.
"Oookay then. Would you like to come with me? I can show you some of my favorite spots to relax." The way she said relax made me think she wasn't relaxing, and probably meant running around and exercising. Just what I needed.
"Sure, sounds great." I smiled.
Rosalie Hale:
Everyone that lives in Forks knows about the Cullens. Even the people in the reservation.
There's the three boys, the goofy one, the silent one, and the constipated one.
Then there's the two girls. Alice and Rosalie.
I've talked to Alice, we've said hi.
But in general, I know nothing about Rosalie.
All I know is she is incredibly smart, beautiful, and did I mention gorgeous?
I've never had the guts to talk to her. Maybe it's that I'm a wimp, or maybe it's that she is very intimidating. Probably a mixture of both.
But today, I got lucky, and didn't have to talk to her. She talked to me.
I had noticed her eyeing me a few times, and I never knew if she was looking down on me, in a bad way, or if she was interested in me. Both ways scared me.
Today, she came up to me.
I was sitting at the lunch table with Angela and Jessica, and the new kid, Bella.
"Y/N, can I talk to you really quick?" She asked.
"Uh, uh, yes, yes, sure." I stood up quickly, and while walking away with her, I turned towards Angela and Jess, and they smiled and winked.
"So, what did you want to talk about?" I asked.
"Well, I wanted to know... did you want to hang out sometime?"
"Like, a date...?"
"Uh, yeah. Like a date." She smiled and we both laughed.
"Sure." I smiled back.
Bella Swan:
Apparently, today Chief Swan's daughter is moving to the school.
I'm looking forward to it, I want to make more friends.
I was standing outside, waiting to see if I spotted her, when a big, orange-red truck pulled into the parking lot.
It must be her! I've never seen that truck before.
I ran up to it, when I saw people laughing at it. Whatever, I think it's cool.
She climbed out of her truck, and I probably startled her, standing there.
"Hi! I'm Y/N Y/L/N. You're Chief Swan's daughter, right?" I asked.
"Uh, yes. Bella Swan." She stuck out her hand, and I shook it.
"So, do you want to know anything, anything special?" I asked.
"Um, I'm not sure...." She said, tucking her hair behind her ear. (Ugh, a classic Bella move)
"No worries. Let me show you to your first class." I smiled, and took her hand, pulling her down the hallway.
Esme Cullen:
I was walking around town, alone. A kind of dangerous move, since there have been so many mysterious attacks lately.
I was looking through random stores, when I noticed Esme Platt, (we're just saying she isn't a Cullen because I guess they aren't married...????) Carlisle Cullen's old friend. (I don't even know how to write this...)
"Hi, Esme." I said.
"Oh, hello, Y/N." She smiled.
"How have you been?" I haven't seen her in a while. We've talked a few times.
"I've been good, how have you been?" She replied.
"I'm great. We really should catch up sometime." I said, trying to be subtle.
"Yes, we should. Do you want to go to lunch tomorrow?" She asked.
"Of course! Where do you want to go?"
"Don't worry about me. I won't eat much anyway."
******
So, yeah, that's it. I'm aware that these aren't perfection, bur they were fun to write so, yeah!
I will be posting a lot more now since I'm getting really into writing again ;)
Thank you all for reading, (not that a ton of people are going to read this lol)
And yeah, see you soon! :3

(Zardy's maze request) Friendly Artist!Reader who was drawing/sketching many different things in the maze they thought was cool, cute, or interesting but had lost track of time and where they went and is now lost trying to find a way out? (This is for any character or characters you want! I've been interested in zardy's maze for a while after some of your old posts lol)
It’s fair to say that nature was your biggest muse as an artist.
Especially when your sketchbook was filled with pages of pumpkins, jack o’lanterns, wheat, corn, clouds, and scarecrows. Some showed the scenery surrounding you, while others were just random sketches of whatever you found interesting in Zardy’s Maze.
There was no better way to pass the time and give yourself a break from exploring.
However, you may have let too much time pass..as it was suddenly very dark and you realized you might be lost.
No.
You were definitely lost. Some kind of dust cloud breezed down the path, as if it were following you, and once it cleared you were in a totally different section of the maze that you didn’t recognize.
This was bad.
Only your phone’s flashlight could help you see in the darkness, and you kept it and your sketchbook close to your chest as you walked. In the distance you could see strange wooden figures ziplining between poles, seemingly on patrol for something.
Or someone...hopefully not you.
As if that wasn’t already adding to your anxiety, you swore you heard some kind of metal dragging through the soil. ‘It’s only my nerves..’ You tried convincing yourself. ‘It’s not like this place is haunted or anything...’
This maze gained quite the reputation in your town--tales of “living scarecrows” that inhabited it being passed down from generation to generation. You’re certain those were just scary ghost stories to tell children at night to dissuade them from causing trouble.
You weren’t causing any trouble, though, so..there should be nothing to worry about. Right?
You kept going until you heard some kind of maniacal laughter, freezing as a tall brown scarecrow with hand rakes jumped onto the path. He looked at you, a glowing yellow grin carved out of his face.
This guy didn’t look friendly at all.
He waved to you once, before laughing and charging at you with inhuman speed. You immediately backed into the cornfield, though you didn’t go too far as his footsteps ceased and you could see his face through the crops, staring at you.
Then he..moved on?
‘Huh..strange..can he not come in here?’ You wondered, relaxing with a small sigh.
Okay, maybe those rumors were true after all.
But at least you knew you were safe in here..
Until you felt a hand grip your shoulder.
“Stay on the path, rulebreaker.”
You yelped and spun around to see another scarecrow. One with a mouth carved like a stitched grin and eyes that glowed orange. He swung some kind of metal tool at you, and you ducked, running back out onto the path.
Fortunately that rake-handed creep was nowhere to be found. But this scarecrow emerged from the corn, frowning at you and...holding your sketchbook?
You must’ve dropped it in your panic, and you stood there awkwardly as he stared at a page of scarecrows, tilting his head as he flipped through more of them. They were all covered in dirt now, but that was the least of your concerns.
Wasn’t he just trying to kill you a second ago?
"My..” He spoke in a raspy voice. “These are..quite lovely. They capture the essence of my maze very well.”
“Th-Thanks?” You shakily responded, trying to be polite. “You’re Zardy, aren’t you?”
“That is my name. So..you’ve trespassed just to draw.” He assumed, looking up at you with a frown.
“I was here before sundown. I-I tried leaving but then some weird cloud blinded me and..I got lost..”
“Oh, that was a Drought. Fickle little things. I can’t ever predict where they’ll float to next.” Chuckling, Zardy closed the sketchbook and handed it back to you. “I’ll let you off easy since you didn’t know. You’re lucky. Usually folks like you would’a been fertilizer by now.”
You smiled nervously and held it close. “Yeah, I guess I am lucky.”
“Why were you hidin’ in the corn anyway? Surely it ain’t a place to draw.”
“...oh! Another scarecrow was chasing me. He had rakes for hands.”
“Ah, so you’ve met Jack.” He hummed, digging his gardening tool into the dirt and leaning against it. “He won’t touch the corn. He can’t see very well. But I lie in wait..killin’ idiots who think they can just take shortcuts through my precious crops whenever they please.”
“You’ve killed before?” You blinked.
“Only in “self-defense”, as you humans call it. It’s my property. I have a right to protect it, do I not?”
“It’s absolutely your right. I can understand why this maze is sacred to you guys.”
Zardy nodded, his grin looking less menacing now as he sighed. “So, you’re lookin’ for a way out? Not here to destroy my weeds and crops?”
“No, sir. I just came here because it’s good drawing inspiration. That’s all.”
“Very well. Then I shall lead you to an exit before Jack gets too antsy. Just watch your head. Them Cablecrows might just take it off if you’re not careful.” He chuckled and pointed to the wooden creatures with his tool. “And while you’re at it watch your step down below. A pumpkin crawler might just come along for the ride.”
Lowering his tool, he tapped on a vine by your feet that you didn’t initially see, watching it retract back into the corn.
Nodding, you followed him closely, smiling as he told you about other creatures that roamed the maze, like a tour guide.
Aside from his attempt to murder you, he seems like a friendly fellow.
Perhaps he could be your next muse, even.

hidden blessing (1/?)
Tumblr media
Summary: Killian thought the only thing he was left with after Milah's death was a broken heart and a thirst for vengeance. It's not until he gets to Storybrooke, after so many years spent in stasis, that he discovers something else: he's carrying her child. How does this new, tiny blessing change his path? (Canon-divergent from 2x12.)
rated T | AO3 | 2.7k
A/N: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, @sherlockianwhovian!!!! Here it is: that random idea I sent to you a few months ago and we had a crazy conversation about. I’ve been picking at it here and there ever since and today seemed like a good day to start posting. I hope you have a beautiful day, darling, even with all the craziness in the world! (General note: this will mostly follow canon, but may jump around a bit. And will be updated whenever I get to it, lol.)
With the heaviest of hearts, Killian watched as the body of his darling lover—and part of his soul—dropped to the depths of the sea. A significant part of him wanted to join her, but he knew that’d be a disservice to her memory.
So instead, he led his crew to Neverland to bide their time until he could find a way to destroy his crocodile. Aside from a handful of ventures into the Enchanted Forest and other realms, they spent close to a century in the ageless realm.
When they finally left Neverland for good, it was only a couple of weeks until he was again put in stasis by the Dark Curse. Once time unfroze, he got anxious as the months ticked by and they couldn’t leave, but Cora assured him—“Time still hasn’t started to move here, not really; we’re just not frozen in place. You’ll still have your pretty face once the curse breaks.”
And when it did, everything seemed to run faster. Was it really only a matter of days from the time the curse broke, to meeting Swan, to their adventure (and her subsequent betrayal) on the beanstalk, to fighting at Lake Nostos, to landing in Storybrooke? No wonder he was nauseous once they’d docked in the sleepy town.
He figured a night of rest would send that away, but it lingered in the following days, even while enacting Cora’s plan and finally, finally starting to seek his revenge. Though the rounds of abuse suffered at the hands of the Dark One and his librarian lover certainly didn’t help.
He got the last laugh, though, with his pistol. Watching the Crocodile’s panic at the realization his love didn’t know him filled him with glee—even if he was in pain a minute later after being thrown by the heavy metal coach.
So it wasn’t much surprise when, hours later as he woke in the infirmary, everything hurt, including his stomach.
“Good morning, Hook,” a man said a bit later. “I’m the doctor looking after you; name’s Whale. You took quite a hit there.”
The blonde man looked as haggard as he felt; Killian recognized a hangover when he saw one. But he only eyed the man warily and let him continue.
“Nothing too serious happened, and you’re lucky. Ribs heal, but we’ll have to be careful not to do anything to hurt the baby.”
Killian blinked. Baby? What? He wasn’t expecting. “Beg your pardon, mate?” he asked, voice a bit rough with disuse. “What baby?”
Whale seemed surprised. “Your baby; the one you’re pregnant with right now. You didn’t know?”
Cold fear washed over Killian; he couldn’t be, could he? “Is this some kind of joke?” he bit out angrily.
“It’s not; we checked your blood before giving you any pain medication. You know you’re capable of carrying children, right?”
“Aye,” he confirmed; all men in his family had a womb, so he knew it was possible. “But I haven’t lain with anyone in at least a century.” Not since his last night with Milah—though, as he recalled vividly, the situation was right for him to conceive.
The doctor thought about it for a moment, then asked, “If it’s been that long, then how are you still here as a healthy young man?”
“I’ve been in Neverland; time doesn’t move there,” he explained. “As well as a handful of other situations that left me in stasis.”
“Well, that’s it, then,” the doctor said. “If your body wasn’t aging, neither was the fetus. But now that you’re here, that kid is finally getting the chance to grow.”
The man continued to drone on about the biology behind everything, but the only thing Killian could focus on anymore was the fact that he was pregnant—with Milah’s child. A child she’d never know. Yet another thing the Crocodile had taken from them.
Anger threatened to wash over him again, but then a quick wave of nausea brought him back down and found him instead staring at his midsection. He tried to place his hand on it, but found it was cuffed to the side of the bed. So instead, he put his bare stump over it, a rush of paternal feelings rising within.
He wasn’t sure how his blood had confirmed it, but once he’d heard the words, something just clicked and he knew it to be true. He was going to be a father. And suddenly, he didn’t want anything else.
“Hook, did you hear any of that?”
Killian blinked and looked back up at the doctor. “Afraid not.”
Whale sighed. “Okay, I’ll say the important parts again: we want to do an exam to make sure everything is okay with your baby, given the number of hits you’ve taken over the last few days. Does that sound alright?”
“I suppose so, yes.” If anything, he was curious about this realm’s medicine and how it worked. But if it enabled him to ensure the well being of his child, then he’d do it without hesitation; he’d likely done enough to risk their health.
“Alright; I’m headed into surgery, but someone from the OB-GYN will be around later. Rest up until then.”
He didn’t know what those letters meant, but nodded his assent and the doctor left. Which meant he was alone—but not really, apparently.
He glanced back down at his still-flat stomach. At first, he was filled with shame at not knowing that new life was growing within him; goodness, the things he’d done in the past decades. Hell, the past month. He’d have to curb that immediately, assuming he hadn’t done any damage already.
Gods, he couldn’t live with himself if he had. “I’m so sorry,” he whispered. Though he was sure the babe couldn’t hear him, it helped to say it out loud. “If I had known, I would have been so much more careful. But from now on, I promise to do whatever I can to keep you safe. Always.”
His mind grew fuzzy not long after and he drifted off; it was no surprise that he dreamed of holding a small child in his arms. They had bright blue eyes and curly hair that seemed to change color on a whim, from black to red to blonde. They were darling and precious and he couldn’t wait to meet them.
Until something pulled him from his dreams, and he was suddenly aware of another presence in the room. He blinked, winced at the various maladies all over his body, and was finally able to focus; Emma was sitting on the edge of his bed.
Emma; he’d forgotten about her for a bit there. (Understandably.) She looked pissed, which didn’t surprise him, but just as fierce as ever. Something stirred somewhere else—thankfully not his stomach, for once—and the attraction to her that he didn’t fully understand came back. He was torn between wanting to bed her and fight her. (Maybe both?)
She set the tone immediately, though. “Where's Cora?” she asked sternly.
He tried to sit up, preferring to have a confrontation at the same eye level, but first the cuff stopped him, and then his sore ribs did. “Damn, that hurts,” he hissed.
Emma stood and hovered over him. “Told you. You cracked a few ribs. Where's Cora?”
She was all business, but she was no match for his well-honed deflection skills—or flirtatious front. “You look good, I must say, all "Where's Cora?" in a commanding voice. Chills,” he added salaciously. It was fun to get a rise from her.
She just raised her eyebrow, unamused. “You have all sorts of sore places I can make you hurt.” without warning, she lunged forward, aiming for his ribs; instinctively, he brought up his left arm to protect both them and his baby. She didn’t connect, but clearly wasn’t afraid of using physical torture methods; in that instant, he knew—he wasn’t about to tell her, or anyone else, about the baby just yet; not if they could use it against him.
She pulled back and he relaxed, but the ache was renewed. Sighing, he told her, “I've no idea where Cora is. She has her own agenda.” And it was true; he hadn’t seen the witch since she placed the cloaking spell on his ship. “Let's talk about something I am interested in: my hook.” He felt slightly naked without his prosthesis. “May I have it back? Or is there another...attachment you'd prefer,” he tossed back, eyes glancing down his body. If he couldn’t physically defend himself, he could at least annoy her until she left. (Though he wouldn’t complain if she took him up on the offer.)
Emma rolled her eyes, of course. “You're awfully chipper for a guy who just failed to kill his enemy, then got hit by a car.”
“Well, my ribs may be broken, but everything else is still intact, which is more than can be said for all the other bad days I've had,” he said, gesturing with his stump. “Plus I did some quality damage to my foe.”
“You hurt Belle.”
“I hurt his heart. Belle is just where he keeps it. He killed my love. I know the feeling.” Even further reason to keep his child far away from anyone who could hurt them.
Emma gave him a wry, insincere grin, and bent over him to come closer. “Keep smiling, buddy. He's on his feet, immortal, has magic, and you hurt his girl. If I had to pick dead guy of the year, I'd pick you.” And without another word, she turned and left.
He sighed and gently placed his stump back over his stomach; he hadn’t wanted to do that in front of Emma, lest it give her any ideas—male pregnancy was rare, but not unheard of, and he didn’t know how much she knew of the magical realms yet. But the encounter proved one thing: the number of people he could trust in this town was small, possibly nonexistent.
And only reinforced that his child wouldn’t truly be safe until Rumplestiltskin was out of the picture completely.
Gods, he’d only known about the babe for a matter of hours and already had recentered his life around him or her. It wasn’t the first time he’d done that, of course, but still—it took him by surprise.
He dozed off again for an unknown period of time until a soft knocking woke him. “Oh, sorry; didn’t know you were asleep,” a timid-looking man said. He had white hair and glasses and was of short stature, looking altogether unthreatening—but the machinery he pushed on a small cart was completely foreign to Killian. “I’m Doc, the obstetrician.”
“The what?” was all Killian could say.
“I’m here to check on the baby.”
“Oh!” Killian exclaimed, and tried again to sit up, only to fail again.
“Here; let me.” The doctor rushed to the side of Killian’s bed and pressed something, making the top half of the bed lift as if by magic.
“How did you do that?” Killian asked, trying to peer over the rail without causing further injury.
“It’s all mechanical; I can show you later. But first: can you tell me when you think you conceived?”
“Um, about 130 years ago, if my arithmetic is correct.”
The doctor dropped his pen as soon as he’d picked it up. “Beg your pardon?”
Killian explained again his history with Neverland, and Doc was well aware of the magical happenings since then, having been equally cursed. Killian also told him what he knew about his ability to carry children, though it wasn’t much, seeing as his father refused to and his brother never got the chance. “All I know is the woman has to be on top,” he summarized.
“Got it,” Doc answered, though clearly embarrassed a bit. “Well, given that this is as new to me as it is to you, I’m going to have to do some poking around in some...personal places. Is that alright?”
“Don’t have much choice, do I?”
“No, sorry; but I’ll be gentle.”
The doctor was true to his word, carefully examining Killian’s stomach and private areas and proclaiming that everything appeared to look good.
But then he picked up a wand-like device that appeared to be attached to the machine he’d brought with him, and started fiddling with the contraption. “What’s that?” Killian had to ask.
The doctor was blushing; this couldn’t be good. “Well, uh,” he stammered, clearly not sure how to explain it; Killian subconsciously wrapped his arm around his stomach a bit tighter. “It’s a machine that lets us see inside the womb; there are a couple different kinds here, but this one is a little more...invasive.”
The fact that such a device existed was incredible to Killian, but he quickly put two and two together. “Does that...thing...go inside me?”
“I’m afraid it does.”
“Bloody hell. Is it necessary?”
“Given what you’ve gone through, and that we’re not really sure how far along you are, it is.”
Killian sighed dramatically, but he could tell it was important. “Go ahead.”
While he knew worse lay ahead, he sincerely hoped to not have to go through anything so awkward as that examination. “Just look at the screen,” Doc said, trying to keep him calm; but the space on the machine only showed nondescript black and gray blurs at first. The feeling of the device within him was not pleasant, either, but finally, Doc proclaimed “Ah! There it is! Hear that?”
The oddest noise filled the room from the machine; Killian had no description for it. “What is that?”
“That’s your baby’s heartbeat, and look—there it is on the screen.”
It didn’t look like much, but Killian had to admit—there was something vaguely humanoid about the blob-like images on the screen.
“That’s the head, and the spine, and there’s the legs.”
Killian had to tilt his head to make sense of it, but it started to take shape. “Does it not have arms?”
Doc chuckled. “It does; we just can’t see them right now. Based on that image, I’d put you at about 11 weeks along.”
“You can tell from that? And what does that even mean?” He’d never heard of measuring pregnancy like that; he knew it took a certain number of months, but most people just estimated. The fact that they could narrow it down so much was astonishing—and made him realize how little he knew about what was to come.
Thankfully, Doc explained everything as he removed the device and cleaned up, and they were able to estimate a due date; he also recommended coming in regularly for appointments to track the progress of the child’s growth, which Killian wasn’t sure would be necessary, but he agreed in order to placate the doctor.
The machine made some more weird noises and spat something out, which Doc took and handed to Killian. “Here; you can keep that.” It was the picture from the screen; goodness, this realm was proving to be a technological marvel. He wanted to take it but, again—handcuffs. “Oh, I’ll put it on the table then,” Doc said, and started to, but Killian couldn’t risk anyone seeing it.
“No, don’t—if you know where my coat ended up, can you put it in there? I...I don’t want anyone knowing just yet.”
“I understand,” Doc answered with a small smile. “It’s in the closet over here.”
As he put it away, Killian added, “I can trust your discretion, yes?”
“Yes, sir.”
“Thank you.”
Doc finished gathering his things and headed towards the door. “Oh, and Captain—one more thing.”
“Yes?”
“Congratulations.”
Killian tried, but couldn’t hide his smile. “Thank you.”
He was going to be a father—a father to a child that was, by some miracle, the product of he and the woman he’d loved above all else. He didn’t consider himself a lucky man, but thanked the gods that they’d seen fit to bless him just this once.
And he fell asleep once more, knowing that—for the first time in so many years—he had something worth living for other than his revenge.

It's a really random thought but I kinda hope I'll never meet Fionn. I've been lucky enough to meet some artists I love after concerts and... liSTEN I... 🙈 It was super chill and they were not huge... Not that being in front of super successful people is different but you never know how your body's gonna react when it happens. I was in the audience of a TV set once, to see an artist being interviewed & a poor girl was shaking really hard and she couldn't help it, the artist gave her a hug-
it was really cute but my point is 😅 I'm a down to earth kind of person but I'm also very shy and easily impressed so maybe if I meet someone as big as Beyoncé I might pass out, you know? So with this assumption you'd think I'd be find meeting Fionn, who seems kinda chill but here is what I learnt from meeting people that I admire. 1, I can't say shit. Maybe it's bc english is not my first language so I just panic but I think they were asking me how I was or how I enjoyed the concert but I just answered, I kid you not, " My name is Eva". They immediatly knew I was confused and introduced themselves as a little joke and they were super sweet but I could barely speak. Until this day, I randomly think about it in the middle of the night when I can't sleep 💀 The second thing I learnt might be the WORST and it's my smile. If I smile to them or pose for a picture, the corners of my mouth SHAKES and go up and down, my cheeks wiggle and I can't. Make it stop. You had no idea how I felt when I discovered that and it's the worst bc just like this girl, I could not control my body. Now imagine me meeting Fionn and do shit like this 😂 I don't want to sound cheesy or anything but I'm very impressed by his work so far (even if I'd love to see him try to be in something lighter bc oof, Roads and Port Authority hit me in the feels recently). He also really helps with my anxiety, his voice calms me down. I hope it's not too weird to say all of this, he's a complete stranger to me but anyway... If I ever meet Fionn, it'd probably better for me to just pass out or run away bc I don't think I could handle it 😂😂😂 Sorry for the long ass storytime, if you ever imagine what you'd do if you could meet him, here is my answer. Even if now that I'm thinking about it, I could also throw up... I THINK I'M GOOD NOT MEETING HIM, BYE 😂👋🏼 Happy for the people who do, tho! 💓 Hope it went good!

okay but everything here is just big mood, thank you for this story time lol
in general i don’t really know if i want to meet people i admire ??? i’m very shy and awkward and i don’t want to bother anyone or make them uncomfortable and I’m just AAAAAA,,,, on the other hand it can be nice to meet someone you admire ! if it happened to me idk i think it’ll be something i’d hold onto 🤔🤔🤔
