Hi, thank you for the ask! I think I have just the thing!!

So if you recall this post, after I read your tags on it I started actually writing a fic based on the concept. It's still mostly just notes, but I've drafted this bit so...Happy Halloween, I hope this is a treat! :)

Untitled Siskarak (one-sided) WIP, 281 words, rating for this excerpt is M. Slightly reimagining what actually happens in the wardroom scene of Way of the Warrior…with a bit of scent kink

Everyone was dutifully avoiding looking at Garak – except Worf, who couldn’t resist making his displeasure known, but he glanced away swiftly.

‘According to our estimates,’ Worf said, ‘the task force will enter Cardassian space within the hour.’

Garak froze as the words, their meaning, and the intention of Sisko’s invitation all clicked into place. Just as he was about to take his leave, Sisko spoke.

‘Don’t forget the waist. I think I’ve lost a little weight.’

Alright, so they were maintaining this pretence. Garak was eager to leave, to get this message out, but he could do with a moment to collect himself. He ran the device around Sisko’s midsection, then absentmindedly slipped to his knees to measure the inseam.

His mind reeled with the weight of this knowledge – the information itself, the meaning of this mode of delivery, and the possible ramifications of his involvement in relaying such important information back to the Council.

His senses heightened by the moment’s urgency, he became suddenly, keenly aware of just where he was, and just what he was doing.

With a glance up at Sisko’s impassive face, Garak allowed himself one ludicrous indulgence, and opened his mouth a sliver to scent the air. He could sense the warmth of Sisko’s body in the air sliding over his tongue. He mostly smelled of that solid, pale soap many Humans favoured, but the chemical signals of the man himself were there too, warm and beckoning underneath. Garak shut his mouth softly and gulped as a muscle group inside his vent clenched involuntarily.

He glanced up again. This time, Sisko met his eyes.

Garak stood. ‘Thank you, Captain,’ he said. ‘I think I have everything I need.’

I was rereading "I'm not the moon (I'm not even a star)" and I keep coming back to the way you portray Grantaire as the only person who gets past Enjolras' looks and decides he likes him Even More. I am obsessed with it

Ahhh I'm so flattered and happy you are rereading!

Like absolutely Grantaire is into Hot Angel Enjolras' looks, and never stops being awed. BUT a lot of people who are into Enjolras view the Hotness as the main reason to be into him, and for Grantaire it is the cherry on top. Enjolras is 1) socially awkward in all contexts outside of leading the club 2) a workaholic 3) comes with a menagerie of weird protective friends 4) uncompromisingly earnest and in his moral values to a fault. It is Troublesome for most people but all of those things are stuff Grantaire is Really Into. 

There have been a couple of people who see R as the least intimidating member of the menagerie and definitely not one with a chance of dating him and so approached him to try and figure out Enjolras' Deal and how to score a date. Those conversations went poorly. Mostly bc Grantaire doesn't Understand. Like he understands what they’re trying to do but doesn’t understand why they aren’t into Enjolras’ personality the way he is.

Stranger: so what is he into?

R: socialism and Marxism

Stranger: no haha I mean like romantically. Sexually.

R: yeah. Socialism and marxism. Intimacy.

Stranger: uh ok... but does he date [insert gender, physical appearance]?

R: Enjolras doesn't date a lot. There hasn’t been a theme. I just know who he wouldn’t date. *downs entire beer*

Stranger: well how about me?

R: probably *downs glass of wine* I mean. You could try it.

*ten minutes later*

Stranger: he yelled at me!

R: Nah, he didn’t yell at you, that was an Enjolras Volume Level 5. Also he thought you were trying to steal people to attend a party at the same time as his protest on Saturday, not go on a date, so that’s why he reacted like that. Reasonable.

Stranger: it’s fine. the other hot one gave me his number instead.

R: Courfeyrac’s great like that. I mean, he’s not Enjolras though? *confused face*

Stranger: thanks, see you around!

And for Camellia, I think Valerius waking her up when he gets up especially early drives her nuts. She knows he's just kissing her as he gets up, but it makes his already noticeable absence - he's got such a mass to him - that much worse. She needs her beauty sleep.

27. who leaves their stuff lying everywhere?

Camellia!!! She hates cleaning up after herself. That's what servants and suckers are for (see: at least 3 banters where she complains about chores in camp and her act 5 quest where she says she would have apologised for the mess in her bedroom intm the family manor had the servants not cleared it up.) Her clothes especially end up everywhere in the bedroom/adjoining walk in wardrobe, often leaving clothes she originally tried on that day just anywhere if she decides its not what she wants to wear.

Valerius occasionally picks up after her and there's definitely been a fight or two about her just discarding his shirts on the floor, but for the most part he's accepted defeat in this area. Camellia will do what Camellia wants - even if it drives him insane.

46. morning routine?

Vali gets up a lot earlier to make the best use of the non-daylight hours, and usually by the time he is back from his morning ride or sparring and freshened up, had a shave etc, Cami is waking up. They will take breakfast together before they go about their separate days.

On the weekends though, she usually convinces him to remain in their bedchamber for some morning pleasures, whether that's milder things like massages to ease all that tension they both carry (he generally carries a lot, Camellia has more back pain than ever when she is expecting the twins) shared baths or just a lazy morning in bed or for a round or two of morning sex, dependent on the mood.

47. how do they make up after a fight?

Depends on who is in the wrong. Valerius is more inclined to grovel at his wife's feet, while she's more likely to give him the silent treatment and proclaim she does not want to see or speak to him for the time being until she inevitably apologises for acting stupid.

First thing they do is if the fight has gone on for a while is that they tend to re-establish physical intimacy and get rid of all the pent-up frustration and then talk about it when they're in much more agreeable moods afterwards as like. an off-shoot of aftercare in its own way. It is probably not that healthy to do it that way but it works for them.
