i fucking love prereading. getting documents about what's going to be discussed in a meeting and reading them and then going to the meeting and having context for all the things that are happening. if i could do this in all areas of life i would. send me a list of the words i'm going to need the definition of in order to understand what you will be talking about. give me a rundown of what topics might come up during this social encounter. provide detailed documentation of what to expect in a new setting. i will read the fuck out of that shit.

- ænema , it used to be my favorite song of all time and was for a good while before i first heard the last one, i like it’s message, and i like how he delivers it. but the reason it was my all time fav was because of verse 5, its well into the song but the build up is so good. it is so so so so so beautiful

- right in two. just look up the lyrics and readthem theyre so so so sos sosososososooso good. i lovelovelove the idea of angels looking down at us in amusement, more confused than judgmental as we animals are using the intelligence and free will that father entrusted us with to destroy each other. i’m not religious in anyway, but if you know me you know i adore angels and biblical themes. it gets me everytime

More than he wants to admit. He's a new man now, or so he claims, but like it or not he was a scared, desolate child once, and he still is inside. He can use his wealth and power to rebuild his life, change his style, and live comfortably, but you don't just shrug off a childhood like that. It doesn't help that it's all left a physical toll on his body so it's really a constant reminder of his past life. He's hard to get his hands dirty just to get by. Try as he might, you don't just forget stuff like that.

As for what he'd say to his younger self, I'm not even sure he knows. He could go practical, give the young boy some advice, but he also knows how much he needed someone to just... tell him he's going to be okay. Maybe definitely even hold him.

If you can't make yourself go, my advice is to outsorce motivation. Either decide to do something with a friend (harder to cancel, forces you to go), or book tickets for stuff in advance. If I know I want to do something and also know I'll get stuck doing fuck all I book a cinema ticket in the afternoon/evening and pay for it. Then I have to go bc I've already paid like
