My constipated little lady (11 y/o cat) spent the day at the vet for observation as they gave her fluids and a bit of laxative. Still didn't manage to pass the mysterious blockage, doesn't show on x-ray other than that she's got some pockets of gas in there that haven't moved. Brought home with expectation to likely have to do surgery tomorrow if she doesn't fart it all out tonight. She's still got a thingy (don't know the english word, "kanyl" in swedish) on her leg so they don't have to stab her again tomorrow, which means she has to wear the dreaded Cone so she doesn't bite at the well-wrapped bandage.

Life is very difficult for little Smulan right now.

The vets did however tell me that she's been a Very Good Girl. Very well-behaved and easy to handle. Proud of my brave little lady.

Aaaaaam stuck sisters, i really dont like the idea of rereading a book at least not before my life is completely different from the time i read it first (idk why, it s a pride thing (bc books are how i mark the passing of time and if i didnt change between two readings it means i didnt do anything w my life))

BUT i really want to reread the dreamer trilogy??

Also for the PEAK EXPERIENCE that it would be, i want to reread while rewatching station eleven (last time i was reading it while rewatching the leftovers omggg peak)

But whatever i dont want to reread it, i want to reread it... idk why it s hard

I put too much pressure on the experience like it has to be perfect, and not ruin the first impression. Then when i actually do reread it im too distracted.

Also im sure the reread would be great bc i really didnt like the books at first lol, started loving it after reading half the series (and the time between the first half and the 2nd made me forget what happened in the first)
