Do you have any tips on protesting safe by yourself? I'm completely alone(I have no friends willing to come with me and my family all voted for trump) in a red State
Howdy! That’s an important question, thanks for taking the time to reach out with it!
I also protest by myself almost all of the time, and here are some general safety tips I’m aware of:
Let someone know where you’re going - if your friends won’t come, at least give them a heads up where you’ll be and for how long.
Try to make a buddy at the protest - for tomorrow’s protests large amounts of peaceful demonstrators will be out and about even in red states, and if these people are protesting they should be friendly to folks protesting with them. From protests I’ve been to, there are a lot of older folks that turn out that are quite affable, and if you can find any families they may also be good folks to stand by or chat with.
If you’re up for it, Volunteer! The best way to join a group even if you don’t know anyone is to get in touch with your protest coordinator and ask to be a volunteer at the protest. This can be for something like peacekeeping (what I volunteer as!) or greeting, running poster-making booths, handing out water, etc. What’s great about volunteering is you’ll be in close contact with another group of people through the whole protest and will have a pretty good idea of what’s going down the entire time.
General good protest practices - you can find more general info here! Protest Guide Safety Planning Worksheet
Those are just a couple of tips I know of, I can also recommend checking social media groups that might be running protests - Indivisible is a great resource, as is 50501 (I’m in the 50501 discord as well where you can join groups specific to your state and ask for more info, I believe you can also do this on reddit)
These groups will have more specific information on your location in particular, and will also be able to get you in contact with more experienced organizers if you have any other questions!

(via A Map of Protests March 29-April 4 - by K. Starling)
Welcome Dissenters!
Though this is a quieter week as groups prepare for April 5, there are still 437 PROTESTS in SEVEN DAYS!
THE MAP displays this week, as well as past weeks! Even if you can’t protest this week, please stop by and share it.
NEXT WEEK, is all hands on deck. The goal is to show up a million strong on April 5.
THIS WEEK, there are several worthwhile movements. In particular, Tesla Takedown is hosting over 200 protests on March 29. Indivisible has created Safe Schools. It’s a comprehensive guide to protect children in light of recent ICE raids. Check them out!
And don’t forget Trans Day of Visibility on Sunday (or Saturday for some cities).
LIST of protests. MAP of protests.
Don’t forget to share the COUNT with me after a protest. The list is ever growing.
RECORD demonstration numbers. SUBMIT a story from a protest. TELL your story or NOMINATE a person to share theirs.
As always, be safe, stay peacefully, and build community.

call your reps, please
cried into my senator's voicemail today and I'm just saying if I can, you can too.
Seriously though if you want tips on how to call or a script I got you.
Tips:
Find your reps on house.gov and senate.gov. Save their DC and local numbers in your phone. I have them in mine as FirstNameLastname STATE Position, so STATE is the start of their 'last name' in my phone (ex. Joe Smith NY Senator). Which means I can quickly get to them, they're all in a row in my contacts, and I can call them when I'm motivated. I also save what committees they're on in the notes on the contact info.
Most reps' phones don't ring -- instead you get a menu, like when you call the cable company, and some of the options are leave a message or talk to a staffer. So if you are nervous about talking to a human, you don't have to! You can leave a message.
Write a script before you call. Here are some examples/guides: Indivisible, ACLU Hawaii (specific but also broadly helpful), Autistic Self Advocacy Network, tips from a staffer on IG. Always ask for a response! Here is a basic one:
Hi my name is NAME, I live in ZIP CODE. My phone number/email address is ###. I am calling about [insert topic here]. I am concerned/I care because [insert why]. I want (to urge the senator to vote X/to support the NAME OF ACT/to ask the senator speak out publicly about XYZ/to see the senator in the news talking about X/to know the senator's plans for Y). I would like a a call back/email with more info/etc. Thank you.
Find a time that works for you to call and make it a habit.
Today my call started with, "sorry if it sounds like I'm crying. I am. Anyway--" so, you know, you don't have to be perfect. I certainly am not.

[HOWL]
I'm getting antsy about "Day One" and what the new regime is actively preparing to unleash the minute he's sworn in.
I've been looking for actions being planned by the usual orgs (MoveOn, Indivisible, et al.) or any signs of meaningful physical/judicial/public-involved obstruction or demonstration or coordinated pushback against the flurry of anticipated executive orders, resistance to Insurrection Act activation, and the marquee event of "shock and awe" deportations that they've been flaunting openly for months - and I have seen nothing.
There are news reports of governors and mayors and attorneys general making plans and pacts of non-cooperation with those efforts, but it's very murky and clandestine and behind-the-scenes puttering around, and here we are 7 weeks out with zero public demonstrations or gatherings or, God forbid, marches where the public can at least express our opposition and make a statement that we're not knuckling under, this is not acceptable, and they're not going to implement this insane agenda without a fight.
There's a sense that good people of good will have already given up, acquiesced, ceded the whip hand to the new (old) regime, that since all our marches and protests didn't prevent his reelection public expression of opposition is useless, that "there's nothing we can do but lie back and take it" and "we don't want to be bothered we just want to retreat and lie in a dark room with a cold cloth over our eyes and pretend we can retreat into our books and gardens and knitting until the firestorm passes."
This doesn't augur well for the road ahead. As individuals, no one is going to be the lone flag-bearer facing down a MAGA crowd, so we have to look to existing leadership for organizing Day One events at scale - but I'm hearing and seeing nothing, nada, zip, zilch. All I'm seeing is "here's how to take your mind off what's coming" self-care feelgood guides to giving up and pretending our new overlords aren't there, and not a peep from the folks who draw six-figure salaries at the nonprofit orgs that are supposed to be leading the charge when it's hard, when people are demoralized and exhausted, not just when the sun is shining. In 39 years of raising hell, making trouble, pounding the pavement and rousing the rabble, I've *never* seen the side of good so limp and lame and toothless and... lost.
As the saying goes, "What is to be done?"
I'm not ready to hear "nothing, it's too late, we have to wait until everyone wakes up or until people start getting hurt." (Insert .gif of my head exploding.) We know what's coming because they have TOLD us, in detail, chapter and verse.
We know that if we do nothing, people will suffer. In what universe is it acceptable to wait until enough harm is done to innocents for good people to take action?
I'm at a loss. I'm angry at the deliberate inaction of those who have the power to get something going. I'm fighting the urge to turn my own back - not out of despair, but out of disgust.
Long-term plans are wonderful things; my own performance art gig is my primary outlet, but I can't mount a significant effort with meaningful reach for at least a year - and even then, I'm just one guy.
Right now, I don't see any signs of any significant national- or even local-level response targeting Day One operations or any day after that, to be honest. Am I missing anything? Am I not looking where I should be looking? I need to recharge and refuel. I'm open to ideas. Thanks for listening.

Merry Krillmas Written for @wonderwafles as a part of a small yearly exchange. Also on AO3
"If we can survive this, we can survive anything," said young Xi Ro as she and her siblings strolled dark passages illuminated in blue glow lamplight. They'd ventured deep enough that the architecture of the Osmium Palace had given way to untouched stone, heavy carved columns replaced with stalagmites, the decorative vaulted ceilings replaced with sharp outlines of stalactites. "At least that's what Father says."
Fundament had entered its Long Winter, a time when axial tilt combined with orbital irregularities plunged the world into a particularly bitter period of cold and darkness. The conjugation occurred infrequently enough that many krill lived without experiencing it.
It was a time when the Osmium Court battened hatches and external life waned, thoughts turned from external threats inward to stockpiles and crops that flourished in fertile cavern soil. The castle was permeable, built into the porous rock of the alien continental shelf. Instead of fishermen braving ice encrusted seas, they dove into twisting natural tunnels to the deep unfrozen ocean to cast their nets on the schools of arthropods who flocked around the light of their eyes, and fish lured away from rough seas into the safety of the crags beneath the castle.
With the cold and the dark came celebration too. Each new moon, a feast marked the passage of time, the largest happening on the nadir of their journey. It was this celebration the princesses had snuck away from — while the court was lost in the revelries of good food, strong drink, and conviviality, the workers drawn from the tunnels to the celebration and the guards consolidated to the main hall, they disappeared out a utility hallway into the undercroft. Royal finery had been cast off for waterproof skins and insulating furs, a stolen hand torch — and the traverse-line planted by navigators — guided them through the darkness.
Aurash was thrilled to explore parts of the castle that children were banned from, while Xi Ro was excited to see what monsters lurked below. Sathona felt a pang of annoyance missing the party, but the opportunity for mischief compelled her to join. Besides, three was the luckiest number, forming an indivisible whole. To split would invite disaster.
"Taox says living through it is auspicious," Aurash added, looking back at her sisters from the lead. "Anyone who does is destined for greatness."
"It's a trial," Sathona offered. "A time when new champions for krillkind are chosen by the old . . .”
Xi Ro tilted her head, urging her sister to continue.
Sathona's eyes narrowed in a mischievous smile. "I can't tell you. You will be frightened by the stories."
Xi Ro flared with indignity. "I will not! Tell me, sister!"
"You know she's winding you up," sighed Aurash. "Don't give her what she wants."
"Tell me!" Xi Ro scuttled for her older sister's back, throwing her off balance for a step until she adjusted to the new equilibrium. She clung tight to Sathona's neck, face against the hood of her cloak. "I'll make you carry me until you do!"
"That sounds good to me," Sathona played along, locking her forearms under Xi Ro's legs for support. "You overestimate your might, little sister. I could carry you to the end of the tunnels and back without getting winded."
Xi Ro made a frustrated noise, legs kicking to and fro in agitation. "You're so mean!"
"Mean? Me?" She intoned in mock hurt, "I'm giving you a sedan ride worthy of the King’s procession. We only lack the servants to carry your parasols and fans, not that we need them down here . . ."
Xi Ro slid petulantly down her elder sister's back, making herself as inconvenient as possible to carry.
"Fine, I'll tell you." Sathona dropped her, Xi Ro scrambling to her feet effortlessly. "But you can't blame me if you get nightmares."
The trio came to rest next to one of the openings in the cave floor, the kind that would be bustling with divers during work hours. Atmospheric pressure kept the water from flooding in, forming a perfectly still, dark mirror.
“The fall of the Osmium homeworld into the seas of Fundament marked the first of the Long Winters. The krill who survived found themselves beset not only by an inhospitable environment, but the slavering jaws of every creature on this world. Emboldened by darkness and frenzied by scarcity, beast and barbarian alike crept forth from the far north, throats parched for the ichor of the krill."
Xi Ro watched, transfixed, hanging off her sister’s every word. Aurash looked less impressed, but nonetheless held her tongue for her little sister's sake.
“It was a time of complete darkness,” she continued, extinguishing the torch so that they were plunged instantly into pitch black. Xi Ro jumped and Sathona chuckled low to herself. “Of despair. But not total hopelessness, for a champion arose.”
Slowly their eyes acclimated. As they did, detail emerged around them. The gentle bioluminescence of the lichens that covered the slick cave walls, and the mats of moss crowned with glistening dew. In the moon pool, the outlines of schools of fish — as delicately frilled as the lepidoptera who fluttered around the hanging gardens under hazy summer skies, surfacing to pick at the algae growing on the smooth stone. Sathona thought it more beautiful than the phosphor chandeliers of the palace or the auroras that hung perpetual in the dark skies, the gentle lapping of water and rock settling more enchanting than all the song and revelry of the great hall.
"Her name is lost to time. She is called Ûtun — The Indomitable, in the old language. The exception that proves the Timid Truth. It's not unusual to find a krill who is formidable, or courageous," she looked first to Aurash, then Xi Ro, whose eyes brightened, ". . . or smart. We live and die by these traits. But no one who has lived since has exemplified all three to such great degree . . . "
Sathona went on to describe (with a child's fancifully gorey embellishment) how in the first of the Long Winters, Ûtun single-handedly fought a rampaging icewyrm who threatened the nascent settlement that grew into the Osmium Court. She recounted the legend of her second Winter, a thrilling war caper involving a months-long siege of the Osmium Palace against the cannibal Helium Drinkers, and her army's eventual triumph against the invaders. Sathona especially brightened when she recounted the third story — Ûtun using her wisdom, wits and charm to survive the inhospitable wilderness, delivering supplies to a distant outpost cut off by endless blizzard.
"What happened to her?" Xi Ro asked, when Sathona got to the end of the third tale, and paused for a long while.
"Well, she lived longer than a krill ought to, much longer. Rumors swirled that she was deathless. Others said she was mortal, but bound to this world by her mission. Whatever the case, one day she was gone. Disappeared without a trace. Everyone feared for the next time of darkness, without her strength, her courage, her intelligence.
"But when the sun set on the last day, and krill retreated to these very tunnels, three loyal disciples beseeched her for protection. For guidance. They looked into the dark waters, and called out to her."
Sathona rested on her belly, gazing into the moon pool. Xi Ro excitedly followed, while Aurash paused before rearranging herself to mimic her sisters.
"It's true that no one will ever match her. This is why she chooses a trio to carry her mantle. One for strength. One for courage. One for wits."
"I wish she would choose faster," Aurash groused, out of patience for Sathona's antics. "We came here to explore."
"You can't hurry Ûtun," Sathona sighed matter-of-factly. "She appears when she's needed, and only then."
"What happened next?" pleaded Xi Ro.
"From the water she came to them. She deemed them worthy, and commanded them to prove themselves as her champions. And with their combined powers they were able to keep the krill safe for another cycle. When they met their end, she chose a new set of exemplars. And this is why the krill will always survive the Long Winter, no matter how harsh."
Xi Ro leaned so close that the tips of her mandibles almost broke the still water. Aurash fidgeted. Sathona smiled.
". . . can we leave now?" Aurash asked.
"No!" Xi Ro objected. "We have to wait for Ûtun."
Aurash groaned. "We're going to be here for a long time, then. Little sister . . . do you really believe all this?"
"There's no need to 'believe'," Sathona lied, "it's all true."
"It is not —"
" — It is! I swear on my third eye!"
"It's another of your stories —"
Xi Ro screeched, scrabbling for both her sisters' arms. At once, the elder siblings looked down and jumped nearly out of their shells at the sight of a fourth set of eyes set in the dark outline of a crested head. Aurash startled so violently that she slipped face-first into the pool before recovering her balance, while a split-second roil of panic welled in Sathona —
"Princesses."
Taox's voice was as cool and hard as the stone below. All three scrambled to their feet, facing their tutor — still wearing a partygoer's ceremonial mantle and sashes and jewels upon her horns and neck — with stiff backs and guilty consciences.
"This area is not safe, no matter how good you are at escaping the consequences of your mischief. Come along now, children, before your Father sobers enough to notice your absence."
All three knew better than to argue with the Taox, especially when she was saving them from the ire of the King. They fell in line behind her like three hatchlings following a mother bird, setting forth to the surface.

Today, 01/22, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Unity (Den' Sobornosti).
On this day, in 1919, our ancestors united after a long separation. During a fierce winter, surrounded by enemies on all sides, with the Bolsheviks army marching on Kyiv.
At that time, it didn't save us, but it gave us a guide. Let's use it.
Tumblr media
"Kyiv woke up in the morning covered in a light snowy mist, but the sun rose and dispelled the mist. Along the streets and boulevards, trees covered in frost stand like girls in wedding dresses. There is an unusual movement along all the streets covered in fluffy snow. Organizations, schools, children, youth and senior citizens, all festively dressed, in groups and individually hurry to St. Sophia for the great holiday." - V.Solovyi, a witness of the celebration of that time.
The main celebrations of the proclamation of the union took place on Sofia Square. At the entrance to Sofia Square from Volodymyr Street, a triumphal arch decorated with ancient coats of arms was erected. At exactly 12:00, the solemn ceremony of the proclamation of the Act of Union began. At the mass meeting, the ambassador of the Western Ukrainian People's Republic L. Tsegelsky read and handed over the letter of the National Council "On the unification of the Western Ukrainian People's Republic with Great Eastern Ukraine" to the head of the Directory, Volodymyr Vynnychenko.
Member of the Directory, Fedor Shvets, solemnly read the Universal of the Directory:
"...From now on, the parts of a single Ukraine that have been separated from each other for centuries are merging into one - Galicia, Bukovina, Transcarpathia and Dnipro Ukraine. The age-old dreams for which the best sons of Ukraine lived and died have come true. From now on, there is only one independent Ukrainian People's Republic. From now on, the Ukrainian people, liberated by a powerful impulse of their own forces, have the opportunity to unite all the efforts of their sons to create an indivisible, independent Ukrainian state, for the good and happiness of the Ukrainian people."

Democracy is in grave peril but not lost. This election is catastrophic, but democracy does not get decided in one election. Had we won, democracy would not have been saved. After losing, democracy isn’t gone.

⚘ Gods of Tir Arandor ⚘
Tumblr media
This is a long one so its going under the cut.
The Radiant Accord—sometimes simply called Elyndra by the faithful—is the principal religion in Tir Arandor. It is founded on the worship of Syrion and Vaelith, the two faces of a singular deity representing the harmony of light and shadow, day and night, life and death. This belief system is a tapestry woven from the teachings of balance and unity, with each facet of existence represented by gods who serve Syrion and Vaelith. Together, the gods of the Radiant Accord create a pantheon that mirrors the complexities of the world, guiding the people of Tir Arandor through their lives and challenges.
Syrion and Vaelith: The Twin Aspects
At the heart of the Radiant Accord are Syrion and Vaelith, the Twin Aspects of the eternal god who oversees all creation. Syrion, the Radiant Flame, represents the sun, light, and vitality, bringing strength and courage to those who serve. Vaelith, the Silent Watcher, governs the night, secrets, and wisdom, guiding with a calm and reflective hand. The faithful believe that Syrion and Vaelith are two sides of a single divine entity, intertwined and indivisible, working in perfect balance to govern the universe.
The people of Tir Arandor honor both aspects of the god, celebrating sunrise and sunset as sacred times of transition. Syrion’s light sustains life and fortifies spirits, while Vaelith’s shadow guards wisdom and brings solace to the weary. This divine duality serves as the foundation for the Radiant Accord’s teachings, emphasizing the importance of harmony in all aspects of existence.
Under Syrion and Vaelith, seven gods serve, each embodying a vital element of life. They are revered throughout Tir Arandor, with temples and shrines dedicated to them in nearly every town. The priests of each god work together to foster unity, believing that each deity represents a unique, irreplaceable aspect of the greater whole.
Aldreth, the Iron Sentinel
Domain: War, Protection, and Order
Aspect: The Unyielding Shield
Symbol: A shield bearing crossed swords and scales
Role: Aldreth stands as a bastion of strength and justice. Warriors, guards, and protectors call upon Aldreth’s name for bravery and discipline, especially in times of conflict. His teachings promote honor and duty, inspiring those sworn to defend the realm.
Nythis, Weaver of Fates
Domain: Destiny, Knowledge, magic, and Secrets
Aspect: The Unseen Thread
Symbol: A spider’s web interwoven with stars
Role: Nythis is the god of fate and foreknowledge, quietly guiding the weave of mortal lives. Those who seek insight into their path, or who need wisdom to navigate life’s trials, pray to Nythis for guidance. Known for his subtlety, Nythis rarely answers directly, preferring to reveal truths through dreams and omens. In Tir Arandor, magic is exceedingly rare, believed to be a gift that only a select few can wield. Practitioners of magic, often referred to as Weavers by those who follow the Radiant Accord, are viewed with a mixture of reverence and wariness. Magic is considered a profound force, one that Nythis, the god of knowledge and fate, oversees in his subtle way, and it takes many years of dedicated study to obtain a fundamental understanding. Because magic is scarce, those with the talent to wield it often study intensely under guidance such as that of the King’s magic advisor or the academy. Any misuse or excessive display is frowned upon, as magic is seen as a delicate part of the world’s natural balance.
Cyrra, Maiden of Storms
Domain: The Sea, Weather, and Change
Aspect: The Tempest
Symbol: A wave topped with a lightning bolt
Role: Cyrra is worshiped by sailors, travelers, and those who embrace change. She governs the oceans, storms, and all things in motion. Her followers respect her as a force of transformation, understanding that change, though unpredictable, brings growth and renewal.
Thyra, the Hearthmother
Domain: Harvest, Home, and Family
Aspect: The Nurturing Flame
Symbol: A hearth with a gentle flame
Role: Gentle and maternal, Thyra watches over homes, families, and communities. She blesses the harvest, protects children, and inspires unity within households. Festivals in her honor celebrate family bonds and the bounties of the earth, and her shrines are a place of solace and healing.
Eriath, the Whispering Shadow
Domain: Death, Transitions, and Memory
Aspect: The Soul’s Passage
Symbol: A raven holding a single leaf
Role: Eriath is the quiet god of death and remembrance. His followers believe he shepherds souls to the afterlife, maintaining a serene acceptance of life’s final transition. Eriath’s teachings emphasize honoring ancestors, and his priests hold ceremonies to mark each passing, helping mourners find peace.
Lirael, the Blooming Star
Domain: Love, Art, and Beauty
Aspect: The Song of Life
Symbol: A blooming rose encircling a star
Role: The patron of artists, lovers, and creators, Lirael inspires beauty and joy. She is invoked in ceremonies of love, in artistic endeavors, and in times when life calls for celebration. Her followers celebrate her presence as a reminder of life’s beauty, joy, and the connections that bind people together.
Vireon, the Wildheart
Domain: Nature, Animals, and Freedom
Aspect: The Untamed Spirit
Symbol: A stag encircled by leaves
Role: Vireon is the god of nature’s untamed wilderness. Hunters, herbalists, and free spirits worship Vireon, valuing his guidance in fostering respect for the land. His teachings remind people of their ties to the natural world, and his followers revere him as a champion of balance between civilization and wilderness.
Practices and Beliefs:
The Radiant Accord emphasizes balance and unity, teaching that each god’s influence contributes to the harmony of the world. Followers participate in daily rituals dedicated to both Syrion and Vaelith, honoring the cycles of day and night. Temples of the Radiant Accord often host priests of all seven gods, and the faithful can pray to whichever deity best suits their need, from Aldreth’s strength to Lirael’s love.
Twice a year, the Eclipsing Rite is held, a time when Syrion and Vaelith are said to be closest. During these ceremonies, priests of all gods gather to perform rites that honor each deity, ensuring that their blessings continue to flow through the land.
In the Radiant Accord, life is seen as a complex web woven with care by Syrion, Vaelith, and their divine attendants. By seeking balance in one’s actions and understanding the roles each god plays, followers believe they can live lives rich in purpose, with every joy and sorrow a sacred part of the Accord’s divine weave.

Church Manual
Faith Partners Assembly
Proclaiming the Oneness of God and Salvation in Jesus’ Name
“There is one God, and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.” – 1 Timothy 2:5
Section 1:
Statement of Faith
We, the members of Faith Partners Assembly, affirm the following truths as the foundation of our faith:
One God
There is one eternal, indivisible God, the Almighty Creator, who has revealed Himself as Father in creation, Son in redemption, and Holy Spirit in regeneration. He is not three persons but one God fully manifested in Jesus Christ (Deuteronomy 6:4; Colossians 2:9).
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the one God incarnate, the fullness of the Godhead bodily. He is both fully God and fully man, born of the virgin Mary, crucified for our sins, resurrected on the third day, and ascended to heaven (Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1, 14).
Salvation
Salvation is received through repentance, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues, as taught in Acts 2:38 (Acts 4:12; Acts 10:44-48).
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the one God, indwelling believers to empower, sanctify, and guide them. The infilling of the Holy Spirit is a distinct experience following conversion, evidenced by speaking in tongues (John 14:17; Acts 2:4).
Scripture
The Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God, our sole authority for faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16).
The Church
The church is the body of believers who have obeyed the gospel of Jesus Christ, living in holiness and unity to fulfill His mission (Ephesians 4:4-6).
Eternal Destiny
Jesus Christ will return to judge the living and the dead. The saved will live eternally with Him, while the unrepentant will face everlasting punishment (Revelation 20:11-15).
Section 2:
Core Practices
Our practices reflect our commitment to the apostolic faith:
Worship
Services are vibrant and Spirit-led, featuring prayer, singing, preaching, and the operation of spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 12:7-11).We exalt Jesus Christ as the one true God in all we do.
Prayer
Prayer is offered in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking His power, guidance, and presence (John 14:13-14).
Scripture Teaching
The Word of God is preached and taught with emphasis on the oneness of God and the Acts 2:38 message of salvation.
Baptism and Holy Spirit Infilling
Every believer is urged to repent, be baptized in Jesus’ name, and seek the baptism of the Holy Spirit with tongues as evidence.
Holiness
We pursue a lifestyle of holiness, modesty, and separation from worldly sins, reflecting God’s nature (1 Peter 1:15-16).
Giving
Tithes and offerings support the church’s mission and the needs of the saints, given joyfully to Jesus Christ (Malachi 3:10).
Outreach
We preach the gospel of Jesus’ name to all, baptizing and discipling new believers into the apostolic faith.
Section 3:
Church Governance
Faith Partners Assembly is structured to uphold apostolic doctrine:
Leadership
Pastor:
The pastor is the spiritual overseer, called by God to preach, baptize, and shepherd the flock in the truth of Jesus’ name.
Elders:
Mature saints assist the pastor in teaching and maintaining doctrinal purity.
Deacons:
Faithful members serve practical needs, such as finances and benevolence.
Membership
Members are those who have repented, been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, and received the Holy Spirit with tongues, committing to holiness and church life.
New members complete a discipleship course on Oneness doctrine and Acts 2:38 salvation.
Decision-Making
The pastor, guided by Scripture and prayer, leads with counsel from elders and affirmation from the congregation.
Section 4:
Sacraments and Ordinances
We observe these apostolic practices:
Water Baptism
Baptism is an essential step of salvation, performed by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, as commanded in Acts 2:38.It is administered to repentant believers who confess Jesus as Lord and Savior.
Baptism of the Holy Spirit
The infilling of the Holy Spirit is a distinct experience, marked by speaking in tongues, received through faith and prayer following water baptism (Acts 2:4; Acts 19:6).
Communion
The Lord’s Supper is observed regularly, remembering Jesus’ sacrifice and celebrating His deity and atonement (1 Corinthians 11:23-25).
Section 5:
Moral and Ethical Standards
We live to honor Jesus Christ:
Holiness: Dress modestly, strictly avoid alcohol, tobacco, and immorality, and pursue purity in all things.
Love: Love God by obeying His Word and love others through selfless service.
Integrity: Be honest, faithful, and diligent in all dealings.
Witness: Share the truth of Jesus’ name and the apostolic gospel boldly.
Section 6:
Church Discipline
To preserve holiness and unity:
Sin is addressed lovingly but firmly, with steps of private rebuke, elder counsel, and, if unrepented, exclusion from fellowship (Matthew 18:15-17).
Restoration is sought through repentance and renewed obedience to Acts 2:38.
Section 7:
Mission Statement
Faith Partners Assembly exists to:
Worship Jesus Christ as the one true God.
Preach salvation through repentance, baptism in Jesus’ name, and the Holy Spirit infilling.
Prepare believers for His return through holiness and apostolic truth.

Indivisible: Dhar Reincarnated
Tumblr media
--------------------------------------------------------------
← Chapter 4
--------------------------------------------------------------
Word Count: Almost 3k Words
Dhar and his friends were at Princess Mary’s castle after a victorious battle against the Neo-Ravannavar Army. In the throne room, the princess rewards them with medals that were shaped like cogs. As much as Mary is glad to see that her people are safe, but in the back of her mind... Something was bothering her. This caught the heroes’ attention, “Princess? Is something the matter? Zebei asks.
Mary walks her way to the window, viewing her people repairing the damages in town square. She places her hand onto the glass and tells her woes,
”Sorry... I’m worried that the Navar Army might strike again if they actually go to my factories.. The technology they have... It’s remarkable that it puts me into shame and disgust. They took down half of my robots by draining the life out of them! They almost killed Antoine and Eurynomos too.”
She clicks her tongue then swiftly moves her feet to face Dhar, Zebei, and Kushi.
“And I thank you from the bottom of my heart for saving them. As Princess Mary of the Iron Kingdom, I heed your assistance for a little longer. Is that alright?”
The 3 warriors looked at each other then smiled. They looked back at the princess as Dhar was first to speak, “Of course, your majesty. Anything to help you and your people.”
“Ah! That’s wonderful to hear. Now come with me, warriors.
Especially you two, Antoine and Eurynomos.”
Everyone leaves the castle, now guided away by the princess. A moment later, Princess Mary stops abruptly alongside the others. They saw they were in front of a big factory with guards that had a cross symbol on their helmets, patrolling the place. Mary points at Antoine,
”Mr. Antoine, go guard the entrance of the factory wiiiith...“ She hums, analyzing her roster until she eyes on Dhar, ”Him! With Dhar!”
“Of course, Princess Mary,” The knight looks at the other man and grins,
“You’re lucky to be paired up with a fine knight like me!”
Dhar blinks, “Really?”
“Yes! I’ll tell you everything I know about the might of a warrior!”
Mary laughs awkwardly and crosses her arms,
“Antoine has a bit of pride in him, but I think he’ll do well around you for the job,” she remarks. She looks at Zebei, Kushi, and Eurynomos, giving them orders,
”You two, Zebei and Kushi. I want you both to go around town if there are any suspicious people. As for Eurynomos, guard my most special possession... ESTHER.”
The robot bows and heads inside the factory while Lhan’s protectors go to patrol the town. Dhar curiously raises his hand,
”Princess Mary? What’s ESTHER?”
“ESTHER is a defense weapon that stores slime and converts it into power and energy. It is in its beta stages though... I want to find a way to not be a hazard in my kingdom’s environment...”
Mary explains as she sighs, adding on,
“I want it to be good enough.”
“I think expressing the amount of work you’ve done is more good than it is.”
The princess simply smiles and leaves with no other answer, but to leave her men at charge.
With nothing else to do, Dhar and Antoine simply stand in front of the entrance as the seconds go by. The knight casually grooms his thick pompadour while the swordsman(despite his sword remains to be upgraded) looks up at the sky.
He was used to seeing it green in the kingdom but when being in a higher area, they’re blue. The clouds were puffy, they can still manage some shapes though.
So, he started to look through one of them. They look like... A mountain, a boulder, a pebble, a rock... another rock... another rock–Oh hey a diamond! Not sure why he was thinking about rocks for a minute there.
The others look like a ship, a flower, a vase, and... a ro–Sword. A sword. Just thinking about his blade makes him hope that Kampan will finish it soon. With a groan, Dhar sits on a crate and crosses his arms.
As for Zebei wandering in the streets of Iron Kingdom, he heard some whining that came halfway from the factory. He turns his body to face who’s making the noise. The archer notices 5 tourists at the closed gate. “I can’t believe it! One of Princess Mary’s best factories... closed?!”
One falls to his knees dramatically and sobs.
Suspicious of those individuals that should’ve been aware of the factories’ closing, Zebei goes up to them, ”Is something wrong?” he asks. The tourist stands and wipes his tears,
”Yes! The factory is closed even though we were scheduled to come here,” he lets out a huff then crosses his arms. Zebei nodded and asked one more question,”Uh huh... and where is your tour guide?”
“She’s off to ask a guard to grant access to this area. But it’s taking quite a while... Say...”
The person looks at the archer, scanning him,
”Can you let us in? It’ll be quick! Promise!” The archer was skeptical at first, then he looked at the entrance. He sees Dhar and Antoine just talking to each other.
He couldn’t hear what they’re saying due to the constant machinery working. However, Zebei shouldn’t be focusing on that right now. With deep thought, he takes out a key and opens the gates.
The two men guarding the factory took notice, seeing Zebei letting the tourists in. The2 bodyguards notice them walking in. Antoine asks suspiciously,
“Sir Zebei, who are these people?”
“Tourists. They wanted a quick look inside the factory at this weird hour.”
“Seriously...?”
Antoine looks at the seemingly innocent group, crossing his arms. They had pleading eyes, grasping their hands together at the men. He looks at Dhar. He gives him a simple shrug, confused on what to do. Antoine sighs and nods as the tourists cheer,
”Fine. But in ONE condition. Since your tour guide isn’t here, you’ll only walk around while being under surveillance by Dhar and not touch anything in this or other circumstances. Understand?”
The tourists nod, excited.
Zebei puts his hand on Dhar’s shoulder, telling him good luck. The silver-haired gives a small nod and takes the tourists inside the factory. They felt the heat coming from the pouring molten metal into some molds forming and mending stuff to make mechs and parts. The people were in awe, impressed by the hard work. Meanwhile, Dhar fans himself in an attempt to cool himself from the humidity.
“I should have asked Zebei if he had a flask of water or something...“ He muttered as his face and body sweated. A male tourist hands him a bottle,”You can have mines, sir!”
“O-oh! Thank you... Are you sure if that’s okay?“
“Don’t worry~! Where me and my group are from, we train with hard-work warmups to fight against the heat, whether it’s a hot summer day or a hot steaming room like this factory!”
The young man chuckles and takes the bottled water from the other guy’s hand. He drinks a little bit until he guides the ones he’s surveilling on to sections of where he’s supposed to go. As they were climbing upstairs into the next section, Dhar couldn’t help but feel like he was being watched by the people he was guiding. He turns his head to glance at them,
”So... Do any of you have any questions so far...?”
“Not much, sir. However, is this where we are going to see the infamous ESTHER project the princess has been talking and working about?”
“Um... Yes. Wish Antoine gave me a map before heading inside to guide you all there. But this is fine… Anything else?“
Everyone stops when they make it to the 2nd floor while Dhar waits for another person’s question. The guy gave him an eerie stare and asked,
”Not related to the factory but... You look like that lieutenant guy from the Navar Army right?”
The silver-haired groaned, lifting his hand to cover his face, ”Used to…” He replied. Oddly, the tourists began laughing... What? Before Dhar could look and ask why, he suddenly gets tackled by 2 people in the group as he yelps.
“Hold him down! We’ll go look for the ESTHER mech!” The leader of the group exclaims as he and 2 of his lackeys run off, yelling “For Lord Ravannavar” throughout the halls.
Dhar’s eyes widened, he realized those tourists were the Neo-Ravanavar Army soldiers in disguise. Outside at the entrance, Antoine and Zebei see Kushi and Altun land down in front of them. “All areas in the kingdom are good so far,” Kushi informed.
Antoine nods while Zebei gives her the thumbs up. She looks around, worried,
”Where’s Dhar though?”
As one of the men was about to answer, they all heard Dhar scream for help inside and calling for reinforcements. Befuddled by what's going on, head inside to see the young man pinned down by the men who weren’t wearing casual tourists anymore. That familiar black and gold armor.
“Ah crap...“
Zebei curses to himself, taking out his bow and arrows. Antoine growls and takes out his lance,
“We’ve been had?!? Ugh! I should have known!”
A soldier smirks under his helmet, standing up as he plants his foot down on Dhar’s back, “And you all were dumb enough to fall for it. Especially you, Pinocchio,” He remarks to Zebei. To Zebei’s reaction; he made the first move to attack by leaping up the stairs and shooting some arrows at the foot soldiers.
His opponent swiftly takes out his shield and throws to deflect them. The other soldiers jump off the mezzanine to attack Kushi and Antoine, passing by the archer. They raise their swords, slashing the two. Antoine blocked with his lance, pushing the soldiers back and causing them to stumble. Kushi hops onto Altun as the bird flaps his wings, blowing them away and being slammed against the wall.
With Zebei, he hops to the 2nd floor and charges at the remaining guys who are restraining Dhar. As the 2 foot soldiers were about to attack, Zebei dropkicks right in one’s face to knock him away.
He then elbows the other as the soldiers grunts, losing his balance and falling back. Dhar stands and brushes the dust off his shoulders, ”Thanks...“ Albeit that “thanks” sounded disappointed.
Both men look at each other, “Not sure what you were thinking of letting them in the first place even though they’re disguised... But honestly... I would be fooled too,“
Dhar looks up to hear the shooting and yelling of guards trying to stop the intruders. He laughs quietly and looks at Zebei, ”Princess Mary is right for us to hang around a little longer.”
Zebei laughs along as his hand grips onto his bow, “And we need to hurry. You don’t wanna know what she looks like when she is angry.”
“Guess this is our specialty~!”
Before they can look after hearing 2 voices, Dhar is snatched by a hand while Zebei is pulled up by talons. Both of them looked to see they were on Antoine and Altun’s backs. Dhar looks down at the one he’s on, startled that he is... FLYING?!
“Antoine! You can fly?!” He asks in astonishment. Antoine grins, replying, “Correction! I can GLIDE! Now hold on!”
Everyone races their way up to the big lair, but they see a huge obstacle at the end. They noticed 5 robots that belonged to Princess Mary, fighting off the remaining guards.
“Those robots look off...“ Dhar comments until he leans in and his eyes widen. He noticed their eyes were glowing yellow instead of the usual red hue as they raised their swords.
“Attack them,” He orders. Antoine’s eyes look up, hesitant,” What?! But they’re Princess Mary’s–”
“Do it!”
The knight nods and swings his weapon, clashing blades with 2 of the robots. Dhar summons 2 boulders, smashing the 2 down into pieces.
He calls Kushi and Zebei’s names to go make their moves. Kushi whistles as her bird swiftly moves his wings at one, smacking it into the wall. As for Zebei, he jumps onto an arm of a robot and stabs it’s gem eye with an arrow. The last robot looks, reaching to grab his arm but it gets annihilated by one of Dhar’s rocks that were thrown.
So, everyone resumes flying up to the room where the ESTHER project is in. As they enter, they see the last members of the foot soldiers trapping a huge slime-storing mech in an energy bubble from their gauntlet device. Dhar yells at them,
“Halt right there!” His voice attracts the thieves’ attention. They turned face-to-face with the warriors against them.
One raises their sword at Dhar,
”Well if it isn’t the traitor and our soon-to-be prisoners. You’re too late, we got what we have and you won’t be able to take it back–”
Before he could finish his sentence, his face was met with a thrown rock by the silver-haired man. The soldier yelps, hand holding the wounded nose,
” Shit! You got some nerve, Dhar!”
“I can do that again!”
Dhar threatens as he opens his right hand to summon more geo.
“Can’t we just throw ourselves through that big window over there while bringing the mech?”
The other soldier asks. The first one looks at him then at the window for a moment. They both smirk, ready to jump.
“OH NO YOU DON’T!”
The heroes shout in unison and soon...
They chased the soldiers as everyone jumps through the window, glass shattering everywhere inside and outside the factory.
This noise caught the attention of not only the princess, but also the guards and townspeople of the Iron Kingdom. They saw the foot soldiers ride on the floating yet trapped mech, flying away while the fellow warriors followed in pursuit. Princess Mary was drinking her tea, setting her cup down on the table.
“So I was right to keep them a little longer,” She turns to her bodyguard, “You. Go get Kampan to help those heroes.”
“Yes, your highness!” The man in armor rushes out of the castle.
As Antoine flies and Dhar, Zebei, and Kushi on Altun’s back; they notice the foot soldiers scanning the mech with their gauntlet. Weird.
Not only does it steal iddhi and energy, it seems to be scanning the model or getting information from it. This isn’t the time to be taking notes, Dhar and his group need to catch up with those crooks!
“Altun! Can you go at least faster?!” Kushi panics and looks at her bird. Altun caws that sounds like he was whining.
He flaps his wings harder to gain more ooph, albeit this drains his stamina and slowly gets farther. Zebei grits his teeth and looks at Dhar,
“Should we start shooting at them?”
“We could... Although, I get the feeling they would move the bubble for us to accidentally destroy the ESTHER Project,” Dhar explains. Everyone wasn’t sure what to do as Altun is getting slower, being drained out.
“Your big bird there might be falling soon~!” The 1st foot soldier taunts as the other laughs. While they were mocking Dhar and his group... behind them, a shadow with a huge gauntlet jumps up. As everyone sees the figure’s silhouette, the foot soldiers turn and the two immediately get punched off the bubble by the person that jumped in.
The person lands and reveals herself to be Kampan,
”You outnumbered a few of those suckers and you couldn’t catch up getting them?” She rubs her nose with her right thumb, “You lot are lucky the Iron Mouse came in!”
Antoine sighs, wiping sweat off his forehead,”Hah... Thanks for coming in though,” he comments. Everyone lands down into town square as Kampan drags the bubble with a force implemented into her weapon. The authorities arrive, taking the knocked-out crooks into prison and obtaining the ESTHER mech back into the factory.
“Before we celebrate our victory...“ Dhar looks at Kampan who was busy polishing her gauntlet,
“How did you know we were in trouble?”
“One of Princess Mary’s guards hurried by and told me about your situation. Sooo... Bam! I came in and I, Kampan the Iron Mouse, popped in! And you all are welcome!” The Iron Mouse does a bow with her arms open.
However, her expression lits up and looks through her waist. Dhar watches in confusion. “I forgot that you’re also lucky that I~ have finished your order!” Kampan giggles and takes out a polished sword. She hands the sword to him and grins. The young man made a quiet
“woah...!” and gently holds the weapon.
It was no longer chipped or damaged like it was brand new. When he holds the hilt, it feels more comfortable and smooth. Everything about his sword felt just right. Kampan lays her elbow on his shoulder, “And if your weapon gets damaged, I’m your to-go!” She beams with a smile. Dhar says thanks to her again, putting the sword into the sheathe.
Kushi, Zebei, and Antoine give each other a high five as a token of victory. Soon, their ears picked up heels clicking and metal boot clanging. They look to see Princess Mary and her henchmen of knights walking up to them. Dhar and the others bow respectfully to the blonde highness.
Princess Mary smiles, “That was a close one I say. But thankfully I think my kingdom and my ESTHER project are now safe. Thanks to you all,” she says in a gentle tone. “Say... How about a feast before you and the others leave?” She asks Dhar, Zebei, and Kushi. In response, the 3 heroes boast and cheer happily.
