"Do we have to get up?" You groaned as Grayson sighed. He had been trying to convince you to get up for the last half an hour.

You were sprawled across his bare chest, your hands playing with his hair. He was loving every second of spending the morning in bed with you. But, he had things to do.

He could easily move you off of his chest, but for some reason he couldn't bring himself to do it. He closes his eyes as you continued threading our fingers through his hair.

"Love, we need to," he said and you frowned. "But a few more minutes wouldn't hurt," he said and you smiled. God, Grayson was addicted to your smile.

He would do anything for you. From watching the same movie every Sunday night to kayaking (he refused to go with anyone but you, because he did not care for kayaking but he loved making you happy).

"You can't say no to me can you?" You asked with a smile and Grayson groaned. You both knew the answer. It was physically impossible for Grayson to say no to something unless it had the possibility of injuring you.

"I think you know the answer," he said. His blonde hair shone in the early morning light as the sun started peeking through the curtains.

"So that means we can watch The Hunger Games again tomorrow night?" You asked with a smile and he laughed.

"I would do anything that would make you happy," he said. And it was true. Making you happy was his favorite thing to do.

From picking up breakfast from your favorite cafe when he woke up before you to making sure Xander saved you a blueberry scone. Grayson did everything he could to make you happy.

Getting to see the smile on your face from the little things made everything in his life seem okay. Even when things were falling apart, your smile kept him grounded.

Averyjameson bc Grayson makes me feel weird

They both get nightmares a lot and so when they don’t they have a little party

There are so many of those “celebrity couples wearing each others’ clothes” comps of them

Avery’s fav sweatshirt is one of Jameson's from when he was like 14 because it’s actually her size

When Jameson gets sick he gets sad because he doesn't like feeling helpless

They NEVER shower alone

Whenever Avery is sad Jameson gets all the blankets and pillows and makes a nest for them to cuddle

Avery LOVES coconut and it makes Jameson gag (me too, Jameson, me too)

He actually cried during their first time because he thought that he would accidentally hurt her or it would be bad for her and she'd hate him

girlie pop did NOT hate him (quite the opposite)

Jameson draws stars all over her when he's anxious/just feeling bad with sharpie because he likes that they stay for a while so he knows she's there (does that make sense?)

For his birthday one year she gets stars tattooed on her hips and he cries :)

Avery loves choosing Jameson's clothes because she doesn't have a lot of control over what she wears

They match at EVERY event they go to even if it's just a small detail

Jameson gets his ear pierced in some county they visit and Avery goes FERAL

Gray x Lyra HCs

• When Grayson first met Lyras Parents, he was unfamiliar with the homey feel. He felt at peace when he was with her family.

• Grayson learned how to braid her hair before she goes to sleep

•They did that challenge where he has to guess the ballet move according to the terminology she uses

•they rarely use social media like they would post a cute picture of them two years ago and their latest post would be them at their wedding like they are not a secret but they are SUPER private

• I feel like Grayson would feel like a kid around Lyra.

• They both have the weirdest laughs ever

• THEH WOUKD PLAY DRESS TO IMPRESS TOGETHER

• Skin care days with fun animal sheet masks and k-dramas

• Karaoke with the rest of the hawthornes and they would sing “ Somethin Stupid” by Frank Sinatra

•Gray would talk to tiramisu in a high pitched voice and Lyra would laugh her ass off

• I forgot who posted it but someone posted a photo of how Grayson would look while sending thirst traps to her, and I can so see Lyra using them as blackmail.

Hawthorne Headcanons -If they had a younger sister

They are obviously going to be so so so protective, especially Grayson and Nash

Xander would most definitely get up to the most mischief with you because of the smaller age gap

Jameson would come to your room before your about to sleep and ask if you want to go racing or literally just ask about your day and add in his unwanted advice (you do love it though)

If it's just you 5 having dinner you get to sit at the head of the table

Jameson loves pinching your cheeks to annoy you

After asking Grayson for weeks to go shopping with you because he has the best taste he finally agrees (his walk in wardrobe is something else)

the amount of times you've hidden Nash's hats is insane- he says he hates it but in fact he loves finding them in random places in the house

All the brothers used to purposely loose when you were younger so you could win at board games

Xander would interrogate any guy you were talking to and Grayson would run all the background information even if they're just a study partner

Once when you were younger you said you wanted a sister so Xander volunteered himself for you to put makeup on him (he is now a professional and even does your eyeliner sometimes)

Grayson actually watched a tutorial on how to do a fish braid and was extremely proud when he did it on you (it took him like an hour)

Anytime someone asks the brothers who their favourite is they say your name

You wouldn't say you had a favourite but you loved spending time with Grayson because he was a good listener and actually quite funny and sarcastic when he wanted to be

Nash will always treat you like you haven't grown up yet, will ask if you've done your homework and if you need help to revise for your exams

Nash will mention you as his "baby sister" which annoys you to no end

Jameson whenever he does anything will ask if you want to join in. Going on a late night drive in a race car? Climbing a roof for the fun of it? Doing things that are probably illegal for you age? Your always invited just as long as your safe and listen to him

Thea is like an older sister to you and is always bringing you with her to get your nails done together and literally just spend time with each other

Once Avery joins the house you don't like her at first, you and Gray being equally suspicious about her

Eventually you warmed up to her and now you stay up till 4 in the morning whispering about who knows what

LAST ONE: You are always chosen to put the star on top of the tree ("Why don't one of you do it this year?"  Literally all 4 of them start arguing with you that they're going to burn the tree down if you don't do it) You of course don't want the tree burnt down so you place the star on top with Xander, Jamie and Nash holding on to the ladder and Grayson taking a picture. (and a selfie because we don't want him missing out)

Jameson Hawthorne found it hard to believe he had fallen in love before.

He had. Of course he had. He'd fallen in love multiple times.

He had, hadn't he?

He struggled to believe he had fallen in love before Avery.

Something about Avery was different. Something about Avery was special.

She made falling in love into a thrilling ride, almost like the rush of a rollercoaster. She understood him, challenged him, became part of him.

Love had became something dangerous, exciting and exhilarating with Avery.

The more he thought about it, the more the word "love" didn't really cover the phenomenon. It was something beautiful but scarred, something delicate but strong, something Avery but Jameson.

He would sometimes stare at her, and just admire.

Admire the way his heart skipped a beat, or how she smirked at him after she'd won chess, a smile only reserved for him.
