I did not spend 5 hours making Sans AU vent art totally not that'd be hella cringe of me if I did. BUT IF I DID-

I don't really wanna get too much into what the vent is about bc idk i don't really want all of tumblr to hear about that- but basically here Ink and Error had a fight or wtv and Error like freaked out. So now Ink is acting like nothing happened (Admittedly they might've forgotten.) and is trying to make up for it instead of apologizing or not doing that again by suggesting they go steal stuff from Underfell or wtv. And Error is kinda confused and dissociating so she can't really hear them and is just wondering why they're being so nice after they just beat the shit out of her (and she beat the shit out of them too but yk.)

I'd imagine this probably started bc Ink was bored and was like "ykw lets piss error off" and then got surprised when Error was actually pissed off when they started fucking with her.

Also hc that Ink was originally from an Underfell universe and that's why they have sharp teeth.

I hope you guys know that when I write errorink/inkingerror they fucking hate eachother right.

Like not in the silly "hehehe enemies to lovers way" like no they genuinely want eachother dead.

There is SOME nuance because Ink does think Error is "cute" like sopping wet cat or smth and Ink is also currently Error's fp (because she has no one else to become emotionally dependent on or wtv) but like... they don't really like eachother as people.

Error is an inconvenience to Ink. Her destroying AUs is annoying bc it weakens them somewhat and Ink's whole job is to guard them and all and Error's kinda fucking that up for them. But like- Ink also knows that bc the multiverse in infinite, Error can't just literally wipe out everything from existence. STILL she's annoying.

Error destroying worlds to Ink is like getting a bug bite. It sucks and it's irritating, but it's not gonna kill them. Still, they'd rather NOT get a bug bite. They're also a manipulative little shit. Because they're sans without a soul. Ink literally only hangs around with Error because they're trying to "tame" her or something. They want to be her friend because that way she's easier to keep under control and way easier to predict.

Error is so attached to Ink because I think they'd have met like directly after the Blueberror incident, which Error feels INCREDIBLY guilty for and is an even bigger puddle of self hatred than she already was. Not to mention she just lost the first person she tolerated in years (even if the relationship was pretty onesided) and is kinda looking to fill the hole Blueberror left. Also Error is stupid lonely.

Error is also incredibly jealous of Dream and Blueberror, who Ink also doesn't really care about but doesn't actively pick on them like they pick on Error. Error just sees that Ink knows people who aren't her and gets super pissed over it.

Don't get me wrong, Error obviously isn't like an innocent party here or anything, she sucks too.

Like she uses the silent treatment a lot when she's mad which like Ink HATES with as much of a passion as they're physically capable of having and often lashes out physically against Ink, but she isn't really intentionally manipulative in the same way Ink is. Mostlg because her code is SO fragmented that she can't plan ahead anymore for the most part.

so like I ship errorberry, inkingerror, and polystars with blueberror instead of normal swap. This is because the idea of Error being super mad bc of her toxic situationship/gf picking up her ex (blueberror) after she traumatized them and he almost killed and proceeded to dump her is really funny to me.

Ik i talk a lot about the negatives in Error and Ink's relationship (mostly bc all I ever see are positives and that makes me sick) but have some silly hcs:

Error likes to pose for Ink, like when they need a model for a project or just to practice anatomy or smth. She likes the fact she's kinda Ink's center of attention when they do that.

They both have terrible memories so when they're mad at eachother they don't stay mad for very long and forget what the problem was in the first place. Which confuses people since they were literally trying to kill eachother ten minutes ago and now they're hanging out like nothing happened.

Ink REALLY likes Error's puppets. They like all forms of art, including Error's weird creepy ones (this includes her love/hate relationship with the phrase live laugh love from a different post of mine). They tend to tease her that she's actually an artist for making them, which she gets very flustered about. They think the one she made of them is super cute (even if Error uses it as a stressball when she's mad at them)

They're not really yapper x listener, they're yapper x yapper. Neither of them will shut up to the other and they don't really care they're not listening.

Ink does try to encourage Error to take more creative outlets for her... everything, rather than just tearing up universes. They aren't EVIL or a sadist or anything, they just don't care about how they get from point A to point B as long as point B is reached. What does it matter to them if they stop Error from fucking with their job by making her dependent on them and miserable, or by giving her other, more productive things to be doing, or even by killing her so long as she's not fucking with their job anymore? So yeah they bring her yarn and new patterns to try and different sized hooks and stuff and try to get her to crochet things that aren't her victims or the same red scarf over and over and over again. I consider Ink to be true neutral. Like they don't care about the how or the why so long as it benefits them.

Ink is the one making the hopecore videos of Error. Error doesn't know this. She does appreciate the hopecore videos though.

Ink would help Error check for hidden cameras in her showercurtain and does tend to entertain her somewhat delusional ramblings about the voices and the plague of locusts she says is coming any day now trust her.

They tried to kiss eachother once and both of them hated it (Error bc she hates being touched and Ink bc they're sex repulsed aroace). Never did that again.

Ink does really like more platonic kinds of physical affection like hugging or holding hands and stuff (unrelated but they seem like the kind of person to bite their friends to show affection idk) and is kinda bummed out that Error really doesn't.

haha wouldn't it be fucked up if Ink got so sick of Error destroying worlds that they tried to "wake her up"/debug her so she would literally start hating herself for what she did and become suicidal... wouldn't it be fucked up if Ink like convinced her that that was all she would ever ammount to and she had no hope of ever redeeming herself (which admittedly is true) and that they were the only one who could handle how evil she is so she'd be dependent on them... wouldn't it be fucked up if Ink blamed Error for literally anything bad they did because clearly Error is always in the wrong and Ink had to do it because Error was being evil or wtv....

Inkingerror hcs because I'm back in my yearly undertale brain rot again.

Just a note this is ✨️toxic yaoi✨️ because regardless of if people want to admit it their relationship is not healthy. Yes. The yaoi is actually toxic. Not just enemies to lovers.

Tw: mentions of physical abuse (on both sides), manipulation (more Ink), and codependency.

Ink:

He likes to make Error crash. For one thing, he thinks it's cute when Error is disoriented and confused while he's rebooting. He likes to sneak up on Error by taking advantage of his bad eyesight to touch him while his guard is down.

Ink doesn't actually "love" Error because Ink can't really "love" anyone. He does feel a sense of attachment and affection for him, but it's closer to how someone would feel towards a pet then a romantic partner. But just like a dog with a bite record, if Ink ever feels that he can't keep Error under control, he won't hesitate to "put him down", so to speak.

He still hasn't figured out a way into the anti-void and gets horribly frustrated when Error avoids him in there. When they're mad at eachother the entire multiverse knows.

Ink is very obseverant and good at remembering what Error likes so he's very good at finding gifts for him.

Takes advantage of Error's crashes effecting his memory when they fight to make him forget why he was mad in the first place.

Ink is very physically affectionate (which causes problems because Error is afraid of touch obv) though it took him a while to figure out why Error reacted so badly every time he'd try to hug him (observant, yet oblivious)

Despite being a little freak and enjoying making Error crash, he is actually fairly respectful of Error's haphephobia most of the time. Avoids drinking his lust vial on the days he plans to see Error as to not say/do things that make him uncomfortable (asexual Error is canon I fear).

Does actually want Error to like him, despite enjoying tormenting him.

Rarely feels remorse or admits fault when he is in the wrong, which frustrates Error (he does the same thing like a fucking hypocrite.)

Jealous of the fact Error has a (albeit damaged) soul and feels everything so intensely all the time. He knows that even with his vials, it never fully replicates the raw emotion that Error naturally feels.

Error:

Can be physically aggressive with Ink when Ink tries (and on occasion fails) to make him crash. Often resorts to violence when he's angry, which Ink deliberately provokes to seem like a victim.

Other times when Error is mad at Ink he isolates himself in the anti-void to punish Ink because he knows Ink gets more upset when Error runs off and hides instead of reacting with violence or verbal aggression.

Error does not like Ink (he thinks he's an abomination obv and doesn't trust him) but regardless of if he admits it he's too lonely to turn down Ink's attempts at friendship and later more than that. Despite not liking him and knowing how much harder he makes his goals, he needs Ink around to remain at least a little stable.

Threatens to destroy more AUs to make Ink do what he wants because he knows that's really the only power he knows he has over Ink.

Ashamed of his relationship with Ink and adamantly denies the "rumors" of their relationship.

When Error is hiding from Ink in the anti-void because he's angry, sometimes he talks to himself, pretending to have a conversation with Ink where ink agrees with him instead of them fighting.

Sometimes the voices tell him that Ink did something that he didn’t actually do. When this happens Error takes it as fact and treats Ink like he actually did it.

Struggles to reconcile the Ink that brings him the snacks he likes and remembers he hides in Outertale when he's upset and knows not to touch him with the Ink that crashes him on purpose and knocks him out when their fights get physical. Almost views them as separate people. One, he almost likes, and another he hates and wants dead. Somehow he thinks he can have both at the same time.

Takes advantage of Ink throwing up ink when he feels extreme emotions and having short term memory loss from it to win arguments.

Doesn't mind Ink finding him cute as much as one would think, mostly because Error knows he's cute and is very proud of this. He'd be more upset if Ink didn't think he was cute.

Also undertale au fans are bad at ship names. Their obvious ship name is inkingerror but instead we went with errorink? Seriously?
