Another Update

Just want to let everyone know that I haven't given up on my blog. I have been working on my Facebook and my Instagram Accounts. Processing all of my baking posts into video formats. And once I am done there I will continue to update the Completecy Challenge and share more baked goods with you. If you want to give me a follow on either feel free.

Here’s my personal recommendation of a Instagram account to check out

Raise your hand if you have also tried to start an instagram page to feel productive, as a substitute for being actually productive irl, but given up eventually because it honestly takes so much effort to run it regularly

Only to randomly start it again sometime when life gets duller

And give up again

Instagram should really add a feature of adding a comment on any reel but keeping it hidden from all our followers

So many great comments never get posted for the fear of being judged 🥲

Believe it or not, the issue with the fake Mick Doohan post is not the formulafakers account, the issue is the massive drop in journalistic standards of mainstream news outlets, and the lazy over reliance by supposedly professional journalists to source news content from social media these days.

No, the parody account probably shouldn't have posted it, but it's absolutely crazy that an account that identifies itself as fake in its name is being held to a higher standard than the mainstream sports outlets that amplified their post without doing the slightest bit of due diligence.

Fox News Argentina, ESPN Argentina, TNT Sports.... all professional sports broadcasters, ALL spread false information under the guise of credibility and that is by far the more egregious error which absolutely opened up the Doohan family for abuse. There's also evidence of these outlets misreporting the Yuki incident too which again has contributed to the problem that's arisen.

This is a combination of lazy reporting and an over-reliance on AI in journalism. News media wants clicks and they get it by making people angry, but they still have a responsibility to check and verify what they're posting and clearly that's not happening in the rush to be "first" to report on these things. They broadcast misinformation on their TV channels, but only correct the record via Instagram post and that's not being held fully to account. This isn't the first time it's happened and unless things change it won't be the last.
