Visiting old shrines and temples in Ise shima located in Mie prefecture was an unforgettable experience.Hiking the many trails ,of this island ,the home of the goddess Amaterasu and the many faces of Buddhism connected deeply with the origins of Japanese culture was indeed special. The moss covered miniature shelters housed the stone carved avatars and protector of travelers and children .It was raining so it made more slippery going up the forest trail. The pine trees came alive with their moss covered trunks Words and pics by Sergio Guyman.

Retro Mystery Club Vol. 1: The Ise-Shima Case coming west on August 24 for Switch, PC

Shinyuden will release mystery adventure game Retro Mystery Club Vol. 1: The Ise-Shima Case for Switch and PC via Steam on August 24 in the west for $9.90 / €9.90, the company announced.

Retro Mystery Club Vol. 1: The Ise-Shima Case first launched in Japan for Switch on January 24, 2019, followed by PlayStation 4 on June 20, 2019, and PC via Steam on July 23, 2019. It is unclear whether Shinyuden plans to release the PlayStation 4 version in the west.

Hepimizin gençken, başarmak istediği hayalleri, idealleri olmuştur. Bu hayaller en çok lise çağlarımızda ortaya çıkar. Yetiştiğimiz ortam, dünya görüşümüz ve arkadaş çevremize göre şekillenir. Bugün inceleyeceğimiz anime, son zamanlarda oldukça popüler olan Skip to Loafer. Büyük şeyler başarmak isteyen Mitsumi'nin kasabasından Tokyo'ya seçkin bir lisede okumak için gelmesini anlatan animemizde, karakter çeşitliliği oldukça fazla. Sıradan lise animelerine kıyasla, hayatın içinden gerçek temaları alıp hikayesine katmış olan bir seri Skip to Loafer. Başkahramanımız Mitsumi'nin, Tokyo Üniversitesi'nde hukuk okuduktan sonra memur olup kasabasını canlandırmak gibi hedefleri var! Bu yolculuğunda ona eşlik edecek arkadaşlarını da unutmamak lazım tabii. Diğer başkahramanımız olan Shima ise Mitsumi'nin tam tersi. Hayatı sadece bir şeyleri ertelemek için yaşıyor adeta. Serimiz de zaten bu iki zıt karakterin birbirlerini nasıl değiştirdiğini anlatıyor.

Shima'nın bu davranışlarının arkasında geçmişte ailesinin pek bir arada olmaması ve yalnız büyümesi yatıyor olabilir ama seri henüz tamamlanmadığı için elimizde hala yeterli bilgi yok. Fakat Mitsumi ile tanışmasının serideki diğer tüm karakterleri olduğu gibi onu da olumlu yönde etkileyeceği aşikar. ☘

Tam zıt karakteri olan Mitsumi ise oldukça çalışkan, disiplinli ve doğrucu bir karakter. Fakat inandığı bu değerler sarsıldığında dünyası başına yıkılacak kadar kendini sıkmasa, okulun ilk günü giriş törenine geç kaldığında istasyonda karalar bağlamayacaktı. Neyse ki Shima ile ilk kez istasyonda tanıştıklarında onunla beraber okulun yolunu buluyor ve - her ne kadar sonu iyi bitmese de- tören konuşmasını yapmayı başarıyor.

Mitsumi'nin okuldaki diğer arkadaşları Yuzuki, Makoto ve Mika da hayatın içinden gerçekten liseli gibi hissettiren karakterler. Yuzuki, güzelliği yüzünden insanların ona iyi davranmasına alışmış fakat onu gerçekten olduğu gibi sevecek ve kabul edecek birileri ile arkadaş olmayı tercih ediyor.

Geçmişteki tecrübelerinden insanları okumakta usta olan bu karakterimiz Mitsumi'nin samimiyetine ve saflığına hayran kalıyor ve hemen onunla yakın arkadaş oluyor. İlk başlarda Yuzuki'ye karşı ön yargılı olduğu için oldukça soğuk davranan Makoto ise sessiz ve kendi halinde takılmayı seven biri. Fakat bu sessizliğine rağmen o da büyük bir şeylerin parçası olmayı istiyor. Öğrenci birliğine katılmak için başvurması da bunun en büyük göstergesi. Mitsumi ile tanıştıktan sonra eski haline göre oldukça dışa dönük birine dönüşüyor. Yuzuki'ye olan ön yargısı ise basitçe Yuzuki'nin güzel olmasından kaynaklanıyor. Makoto her zaman güzel ve popüler insanları itici bulmuş ve onlarla arkadaş olmaktan çekinmiş biri. Mitsumi ile olan dostluğu sayesinde tanıştığı Yuzuki'ye karşı olan büyük ön yargılarına rağmen sonrasında en yakın arkadaşı olacağını nereden bilebilir ki? ✼　 ҉　 ҉　 ✼

Bir diğer karakterimiz Mika ise geçmişte şişman ve çirkin görüldüğü için okulda zorbalığa uğramış fakat lisede eski halinden eser olmayan, bakımlı ve popüler insanlarla takılan birine dönüşmeye çalışıyor.

Mitsumi ile ilk tanışma sebebi de popüler çocuk Shima'dan hoşlanması ve onunla sevgili olursa kendisinin de popüler olacağını düşünmesi. Ancak Mitsumi'yi tanıdıkça zaman içerisinde ondan pek çok şey öğreniyor. Mika zaman içinde, başka birisi olmaya çalışmak yerine kendisi olduğunda hayatın daha eğlenceli olduğunu keşfedecek gibi.

Hayatın içinden karakterleriyle, özlediğimiz sıcak arkadaşlık ilişikileriyle, Skip to Loafer sezonun en değerli yapımlarından birisi. Animesi çıkmadan önce mangasının sıkı bir takipçisi olarak anime izleyicilerine söyleyebileceğim tek şey: Henüz en güzel kısımları görmediniz! :)) İlginç karakter gelişimlerine tanık olduğumuz bu seri, izlerken bizi lise yıllarımıza götürüyor. Lisede olanlar da karakterleri kendileriyle çok kolay özdeşleştirebiliyor çünkü seri, absürt ve karmaşık ilişkiler yerine basit ilişkileri konu alıyor. Mangasını okurken çoğu yerde kendimi sorgulamama ve düşünmeme sebep olan bu hikaye sezonun en iyi işlerinden biri! Çizim tarzıyla ve hikayesiyle, bana eski Ghibli filmlerinden Whisper of The Heart'ı anımsatması ise cabası!
