Ngl, it does feel strange that I'm not going to Gallifrey One this year, but honestly, part of me is kind of glad I'm not going. It's certainly something that I can't afford to do every year, although I do know some people who do (How?!).

I just feel as much as I do love the show, my scene with the conventions and the show itself has been very hit-and-miss recently. Maybe last year I went it was mainly Chibnall-era filled and that wasn't particularly my favourite era, but I did love seeing all my American friends again after so long from COVID and getting to go to Disney for the first time.

Plus, I think this year, I want to focus on going to theatres and concerts more. Get back to exploring London more as well, as there's so many things I want to do in London.

Throwback to my eleventh grade self who wrote about two gay-ass grad students who loves hiking becoming conservation scientists and slowly falling in love and then agreed to live together in the woods.. I even inserted a Queen song ref at the end on an angsty car ride- the gayest thing I ever wrote. I wrote it for creative writing assignment in my strict Islamic school's english class.. ah I really thought it was soooo discreetly implied and sooo subtext nobody would ever think it's a gayass story. But thinking about it back, damn, my teacher probably goes live slug reaction on the first paragraph of reading that hahah.
