maybe if I say there's no new chapter this week it will finally cooperate and come together?
it's not even the part I expected to give me trouble... 😩

2, 3, and 21!
Assuming this is for the more recently posted ao3 wrapped ask game, not the fanfic ask game; if I guessed wrong let me know and I'll write the other one (yes they're different posts, yes I'm bored)
2. How many works did you publish this year?
Heart and Soul Asunder is technically the only work I have posted on Ao3, but it's a collection consisting of multiple smaller works (which will be posted individually once I get my shit together and finish whumptober). At the moment, 12 of those smaller works are at least partially posted. If we count each individual prompt fill, I've posted 21 of them.
(Honestly hoping to get the rest done before the new year but I'm about to head into two separate research project time sinks so that might be a pipe dream asasdhf)
3. What work are you most proud of (regardless of kudos/hits)?
That's actually a hard one because I'm proud of them all for all different reasons! But right now, I'm gonna say Moorhaunt, because it fought me like hell, and I'm still proud of how it turned out despite all the arguing it did.
(Also looking forward to writing the followup but need to finish the rest first)
21. How many kudos in total did you get this year?
You can check that shit??
Well since I only have Heart and Soul up rn that's at least easy to work out - 273!

bombing population dense areas and residential buildings, bombing cultural sites including mosques and churches, bombing civil registries and historical archives, bombing hospitals, lying about bombing hospitals and blaming the people you bombed, putting hospitals under siege and killing the medical staff and shoving them in mass graves together, bombing hospitals again but now without bothering to lie about it, bombing schools, bombing evacuation roads, bombing people reaching for humanitarian aid, killing people reaching for humanitarian aid with live ammunition, killing children with live ammunition, bombing aid workers themselves, bombing and shooting at an evacuating family's car, coordinating with palestinian workers to evacuate the only survivor of your attack on the car to lure them in only to bomb them and the six year old who was stuck with her family's corpses in the car for hours on end, looting the houses you bombed, rifling through the underwear and personal belongings of palestinian women you displaced, abducting palestinians to torture them in concentration camps, killing your own hostages waving white flags by mistaking them for palestinians, bombing the "safe zone" tents you forced over a million displaced people into. zionism and zionists are a blight on this earth

It’s fascinating how little the US at large knew about Walz before this week, but at the same time… it makes sense. He wasn’t their governor. They haven’t seen the incredible work he’s done first-hand, and they haven’t had years to appreciate his authentic charm.
He’s never been a politician who sought out the limelight - everything Minnesota has done in this historic year of progressive legislation and policy has been relatively quiet. He’s not on the road jockeying for the latest sound byte on CNN or some podcast - he’s working to implement the policies people want. He’s tweeting about Mountain Dew. He’s at the state fair eating fried food and talking to his constituents. This is the governor we know. A man who cares deeply about the work he does and the people he represents, not the fame, not the clicks.
He’s genuine. Minnesotans know that. Now it’s time to sell that to the rest of the country.

I think what I want to get into with the "Anyone can do harm." thing that I keep beating yall over the head with is that literally anyone, anyone at all can do harm it's not "in your DNA" to be an abuser or written in the stars that you'll be a predator.
Whatever image you have of an abuser in your head, drop it and replace it with your favorite person in the world and you'll probably be closer to the truth than you realize.
It's easy to address harm when it's coming from someone you already hate.
I see it happen all the time. Someone you couldn't stand for no real reason does something heinous then all of a sudden here comes the avalanche of "I always knew they were a fucked up individual."
No, you didn't.
There is no possible way you could have known, you just already didn't fuck with them before they started doing something you could use to justify your hatred of them. I'm guilty of it too! I'm petty, mean, vindictive, and yes! I'm way quicker to believe something bad about someone I hate versus someone I love because I'm human. Still, y all gotta learn to move past that initial "Well, they were always nice to me!" gut feeling and understand that nobody truly knows anyone and anyone can be capable of anything. Even victims. Even you.
