BLESS THE PERSON

who’s reading this O Lord, as they go out and come in. Let Your angels be with them and keep them from harm. Pour out blessings on them and their children, that they won’t be able to contain their joy.

Bless the works of their hands, and make them so blessed that they can bless others with kind words, prayers, resources, and anything that meets another’s need.

Cause others to bless whoever is reading this according to their needs too. May their days on earth be filled with blessings that will glorify the Lord of Lords.

But most of all, O God my Father, I ask that they will bless Your Holy name in all that they do. This I ask in the name of Your Son Jesus.

Beware… of manipulation

1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, 2 through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared, 3 who forbid marriage and require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. 4 For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, 5 for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer. (1 Timothy 4:1, ESV)

Let’s break it down verse by verse:

Verse 1 basically says things will change in Church/Kingdom matters because some people will listen to different interpretations given to them by “deceitful spirits and teachings of demons.”

Verse 2 - The people spoken of in verse 1 will also be led astray by liars without a conscience.

Verse 3 - Those liars without a conscience will manipulate or control people by forbidding them to marry, eat certain foods (and I believe, prohibit them from doing other things).

Verse 4-5 are self explanatory. Whatever God made is good. All we need to do is believe it’s good, and make it holy by praying what God has said over it!

There we have it!!

I PRAY THAT THE CHURCH, AND GOD’S PEOPLE WILL STAY STRONG, AND KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT WHAT HE HAS SAID BY STAYING CLOSE TO HIM. MAY WE NEVER BE LED ASTRAY, AND AWAY FROM GOD WHO HAS MADE US IN JESUS’S NAME I ASK. Amen 🙏🏼

JESUS IS IDENTICAL TO GOD 🙌🏾 This portion of Hebrews is dedicated to the argument that Jesus is not the equal of angels. On the contrary, He is above and beyond all angels and is in fact identical to God. 📖 Hebrews 1:5–14 uses a collection of Old Testament quotations. These are used to support the claims made in verses 1 through 4. In particular, the writer is explaining that Jesus Christ is not merely some angelic being or a created spiritual power. He is the exact nature of God and above all other authorities. Since this letter is written to a Jewish audience, this use of Old Testament material is crucial and would have been especially effective. This explanation continues through the entire second chapter of Hebrews. Verses such as 📖Hebrews 1:7 described angels as servants, with characteristics God can change to suit His purposes. Yet, the Messiah, on the other hand, is portrayed as the ultimate authority, and as one who does not fade or change.
