And you should be too.” “But I can’t work in these conditions!” He slides off the desk, letting himself lose his balance and fall to the floor. “My blood sugar is so low I can’t even stand up…” “I think you just need your cane,” Kyouka notes.

pamper kunikida week 2024 | 6: crêpes - w/ atsushi & kyôka

“I didn’t expect this to go so smoothly and quickly.” Kunikida commented, idly, while crossing a few items from that day’s list. And, when he lifted his glance after closing the notebook, he found Atsushi and Kyôka sharing a look of complicity.

“Does that mean…?” Atsushi was the first one to speak, trailing off in a somewhat nervous demeanor. They both had turned their heads towards him at the same time, and were currently staring with intent. It was more than obvious those two were up to something, and Kunikida knew he was about to find out what.

“So we have time to spare, right?” Instead of waiting for Atsushi to find his words, Kyôka took the matter into her own hands, straight to the point as she used to be.

Not like he wasn’t expecting that question, though.

“Almost two hours, why?”

“We wanna go get crêpes with you.” Probably fueled by Kyôka’s upfront attitude, Atsushi seemed to finally have found his words. “Our treat, by the way.”

That was slightly surprising, but not a bad surprise in any way; not only because of the plan itself, but also due to how they had likely waited till the perfect occasion to set it in motion. Still…

“Alright, but I can pay for my own food and all.” Of course, such a remark wasn’t going to stop them.

“But you won’t.” Kyôka said, in an almost menacing tone, before her expression softened. And, sensing what she was trying to do, Atsushi followed suit with his best puppy face (something incredibly effective due to his tiger nature, by the way).

Apart from not having stopped looking at him, now the two were using their combined cuteness power at full force. So, long story short, it didn’t take more than a few seconds for Kunikida to surrender.

“Fine, but you have to let me treat you next time.” And yes, he was smiling.

Franziska -

"Prodigy in her field, forced to be an adult whilst she was very much still a child. Franziska canonically became a prosecutor at the age 13 so that she was able to start prosecuting the same year as her "little" brother (Just what she calls him - he's seven years older than her), and consequently has to act like she is a mature adult desire being a young teenager. She has really bad emotional regulation (her in-game running gag is whipping people, because her whip is a comfort item to her, and she's been using that motion whenever she gets annoyed since she was really young.), but acts quite haughty, cool and unapproachable so that it doesn't show.

She gets to break down and start crying in the post-credits scene to her debut game because her brother's chased her down to return her whip and show her genuine affection (in his own weird way) and it is SO satisfying.

She calls everyone by their full name nearly exclusively, even her brother. She gets flustered when people do this back to her.

She is obsessed with running investigations in her own "perfect" way in accordance with her family creed, and likes to take charge to make sure this occurs. (Gets visibly distressed when she gets credited for a surprise search on a building that she did not order) At one point, she is SHOT by an ASSASSIN outside the courthouse and STILL tries to go in to prosecute anyway because this is her case and she has it all planned out, and is very upset when her brother forces her to go to hospital instead.

She also repeats a lot of motions that she's picked up from people around her, notably clutching the fabric of her sleeve on her right shoulder like her father does, and smugly wiggling her finger at people like her father and brother do.

I think she's often overlooked for being autistic because her brother is quite clearly too, and he is a more important character, and at various points, a POV character, but I think she absolutely deserves a spot here!"
