After reading about Blyth I feel like I'm going to cry. I'm only a few constituencies over in North Durham, and I can't believe it. It's always been a labour stronghold, as its a working class constituency in a 'deprived' area of the UK, and they STILL voted Tory? Why? What would be gained from doing so? Alright then. Time to believe things could get better and it doesn't have to be like this. We don't need to have skyrocketing homelessness and food banks. We don't need to have people dropping dead after being assessed fit for work. We don't need to have vital services being set up to fail through underfunding then sold off to whoever promises to cut the most corners. We don't need to plunge towards No-Deal without a second referendum. We don't have to keep the Overton Window looking at a view of Diet Right vs Right On Steroids. Time to vote Labour.
