People who weren't gaming in the early 2000s sometimes have difficulty telling the Ratchet & Clank and Jak and Daxter franchises apart, but it's actually very simple: Ratchet is the creature you end up with when a furry can't decide what species they want their fursona to be, and Jak is what you get if you take this creature and shave it.

jak and daxter is such a funny franchise because in the first game you play as a soft-hearted goofy lovable adventure himbo and in the second game the first words out of his mouth are "I AM GOING TO COMMIT A MURDER" and then the game hands you a shotgun

I'm replaying Jak 2 and a couple days ago immediately after the mission where Praxis gets the precursor stone I was heading back to Torn and passed one of the propaganda stations and heard this line of dialogue that I have never heard before in all my 16 years of playing this game and I was so floored I had to draw an entire comic about it
