You and Neteyam don't easily argue. Every relationship has a few up's and down's, but you have always been able to calmly work through it. You know just how to calm him down if he's ever stressed or flustered with his duties as the future olo'eyktan, and he knows just how to soothe your nerves.
So when you have your first real, emotional argument, it's completely unexpected.
Neteyam had an exhausting day that consisted of keeping Lo'ak in check, making sure that Tuk wasn't running off into the forest again, and following any other orders that his father gave. Most of the time, Neteyam could compose himself until he'd join you in bed at night and you would hold him through whatever was bothering him.
However, this particular night, Neteyam returned to your shared tent in silence. You could see the frustration in his eyes, so you immediately ran to console him. "What is wrong, ma 'Teyam?"
"Nothing, ma syulang." He was lying and you could tell. He practically threw his bow onto its stand. You rested your hands on his shoulders. "Please, it has been a long day."
"Let me help you," you cooed, pulling him to a seat. He sat down and you began to pluck the colorful feathers from his braids. You'd collected newer, cleaner ones earlier that day. "Is it your father?"
"It is not just him, (y/n)," he sounded annoyed with you and you couldn't tell why. What had you done to bother him in the few minutes he'd been home? "I just want to go to sleep."
You pressed a kiss to his temple. "I found new feathers today, ma txe'lan. Let me remove these and then we may rest."
He huffed out a harsh sigh that felt like a cut in your heart. Your hands stopped their movements; your eyes softened. "Neteyam...have I done something wrong?"
The only thing that was wrong was that Neteyam felt like all of his responsibilities during the day were piling up on top of him. Although he loved to spend time with you more than anything else, it felt suffocating to be insistently questioned when all he wanted was to fall asleep with you in his arms.
Unfortunately, he didn't communicate it that way. "Ma (y/n)," his voice was unusually deep and agitated. "I want to be left alone."
Alone? This was completely foreign to you. Neteyam had never wanted to be alone before. "What did I do?" Your voice almost cracked as tears collected in your eyes.
"You have been irritating me this whole time!" He shot up from his seat, causing you to stumble onto your bottom, knocking over the small bowl of feathers that you collected. "When I come home, I just want to spend time with you...I do not want to be bothered!"
Neteyam had never raised his voice at you like this. When he turned towards you, you closed your eyes and flinched your head to the side. His heart broke.
It was silent for a few moments. Your eyes remained shut until you noticed that Neteyam could barely breathe. When you looked to him, his lips parted with small, panicked breaths. "Ma syulang..." he began, falling to his knees and moving closer to you.
"I'm sorry," you muttered, trying to ignore the tears that were now evidently running down your cheeks.
He shook his head while you tried to hurriedly collect the feathers in the bowl again. "Oh, (y/n)," his hand gently grabbed yours. You would not meet his eyes. "I would never hurt you. I am sorry."
"'S alright, Neteyam."
Neteyam pulled you to him and cupped your face with his hand, gently rubbing the tears away. "You've done nothing wrong. I should never raise my voice like that with you, I'm so sorry, ma (y/n)." You leaned into his hand and wrapped your arms around him to pull him closer to your frame. He embraced you, holding your head to his chest. "Please, don't cry, I would never hurt you. I'm so sorry, can you ever forgive me?"

i’ve never requested anything before so idk how this works but, if you’re still taking request for avatar characters, i’m thinking of a neteyam x reader, like the reader is a really talented warrior and they’re the apprentice of Jake and Both the Reader and Neteyam are constantly in competition to see who’s the strongest and at some point one of them just has an outburst due to all the pressure they have on them. (btw i literally found your account today and i just have to say i love your writing) :))
NETEYAM X READER
Golden child
Tumblr media
———————————————————————
Growing up in the omaticaya clan, the people recognized the spark you had, a passionate flame that burned in your heart. Strong, leading. Everybody knew that you would be someone great, and that’s exactly what you were. You always aimed for the top, always made 1st place, always tried your hardest at everything you did.
And alongside you, the oldest son of Jake sully, neteyam.
The two of you were fairly close in age, you being only a few months younger, and when your parents died, and were given back to eywa, jake felt the responsibility of taking you in, they were in his war party, and you reminded him so much of himself. And Neytiri always wanted a daughter, so you became a sully.
And so it begun. With the two of you, everything had to be a competition. You got your ikran? Neteyam gets his a day later. You catch a fish while hunting? Neteyam catches 7. You can eat 2 fish? Neteyam can at 3. Every waking hour the two of you lived was spent staring at eachother, waiting to beat the other. THe only thing you had above him, was that you were in the war party, and he always on lookout.
“Did you get hurt while on your mission? I guess the sky people are getting too strong for you.” he spoke, noticing the cut on your cheek, the both of you knew he was joking. He pressed a piece of cloth against your cheek, sending a smirk. You just narrowed your eyes, chuckling.
“Being that i was able to come within 10 feet of one, im not worried. How was your little tree a mile away from our spot? Was it nice and warm?” you taunted right back at him, laughing at how his smirk fell. This was such a common interactionbetween the two of you, in which neither of you took it seriously.
Even so, you and neteyam were kind of forced to grow a bond, being that 90% of your time was spent trying to outdo the other. The two of you didnt really know why it was the way it was between you two, maybe the validation you got from jake in being the oldest sibling, or the golden child, who could protect the family. Both of you kindled the same flame, and it made both of you stronger.
So naturally, when the two of you both moved to the metkayina tribes together, along with the rest o the sully family, and learned that you would have to learn the ways of water… It became a rivalry. Who could pick it up faster. Who’s ilu was bigger, who could stay underwater for longer, who could stay out of trouble longer.
ANd to your great surprise, neteyam found himself winning at everything. He was just so fast in adjusting to the world around, he could ride on an ilu within the first days of trying, automatically he was able to understand the breathing techniques of the metkayina clan, he made it look. So . easy.
But you? You couldnt, you didnt even know why it was so hard, tuk even got it within a month. You could barely swim, holding your breath was harder than fighting a sky person in one of those suits, and you just couldnt bond with the nature around, even if it was beautiful. You tried your hardest, practicing for hours longer than you had to, almost feinting from exhaustion every night. But still, things didnt get better like they usually did.
And it tore you apart, youd never not been good at something, even if it was hard at first, you ALWAYS got better at it. That was why this was just so strange for you, so overwhelming to the point that it made you want to rip your hair out. You just couldnt comprehend how he was just so good at everything, that was your job, it's not fun to compete when you arent good at it.
So as a few months past, your agitation grew, and your patience shrunk. Things werent getting better, even Lo-ak was picking things up faster than you, and he never did that. And trust me, everybody noticed, you became snappy, talking back to your dad, refusing to hang out with tuk most of the time, and you even yelled at anuong twice for teasing you. Eventually, jake stopped complimenting you like he did in the forests, and that hurt more than anything else could. Even if it was unintentional.
Eventually, when it all became too much for you to handle anymore, you asked for help. And who else to ask but the one guy you knew had to help you. Neteyam, he had to miss your daily little competitions, so he needed you to get better at… everything.
“Neteyam?” you approached him when the two of you were alone, he was cleaning the saddles of his ilu, which generally was an easy task, actually it was quite calming, so you assumed he would be easier to talk to now.
“Yeah?”
“I- im having trouble-i need you to- could you- um-” you spluttered, you were not known to be shy. Ever. This place is changing too much about you, and you hate it. The only person youd ever really felt comfortable asking for help from was jake, and even then that was only in dire situations. You just didnt know how to do it without feeling weak, feeling inferior.
“Oh? Is somebody trying to ask me for help?” A smirk splayed on his face as he side eyed you, placing the ilu saddle down, he crossed his arms, and stared at you in the same way neytiri would when she would watch you do something stupid. It was condescending. You wanted to punch him in the face.
“Y-yes, I am” his stare sent you into an internal rabbit hole, it was unrelenting, and you could tell exactly what he was thinking. That you were becoming weak. That he finally beat you at something.
“Say it.”
“Really?” You crossed your arms and stared at the boy. He had to be out of his mind to think you would go that low for him to- oh. You were going that low.
“Say. It.”
“Neteyam, please help me”
“Oh wow. What happened to the girl who restled a thanator? Is everybodys favorite Sully losing her spark?” he joked, setting a hand on your shoulder and tilting his head with a smirk. He wasnt serious, the two of you always teased eachother, which was most of the time mean comments, but it never was serious. But at this point, the nights you spent trying to swim instead of sleeping caught up, and your comprehension had ceased to work. Imagine neteyams surprise when his lighthearted joke made your lip start to wobble, and your eyes start to gloss over.
“Yeah- i think i am.” and with those words, your shoulders started shaking, and in a few seconds you dropped to your knees, and were crying like tuk does when she gets hurt. Large sobs racked your chest, and you brought your hands up to your eyes, shielding yourself from the embarrassment that you knew would come with crying in front of the boy that you constantly competed against.
You’d never felt so fucking incompetent before, like you couldn’t contribute anything to the table anymore. It made you want to kill everybody within a ten mile radius.
Immediately when neteyam realized that you were serious, and that this wasnt something you and loak were pranking him with, he also fell onto his knees, and wrapped an arm around your shoulder, pulling you close to him. His hand found it's way to your face, and he pushed the curtain of hair away from your eyes, pulling your hands away your hands.
“No- no don't cry y/n. I Didnt mean it, youre perfect- It was a joke i promise” He spluttered out in any attempts to console you, his eyes met your own, and he just stared. The both of you had experience in consoling younger crying siblings, but it never was you. He didnt think hed ever seen you cry before. It’s like all of his instincts froze up, and he had absolutely no idea what to do.
“Thats the thing Nete. I think youre right- I cant do anything anymore- breathing is hard for me- And dad doesnt look at me like he used to anymore- I just- i don't know what im doing wrong” you squinted your eyes and sniffled, you were just so tired, and overwhelmed. And so fucking done. You wanted to go home, back to what was normal, back where you could function like a person.
“Ma we y/n. Ma we. Y/n, you are the youngest to ever be in the omaticaya war party. Your name is known across pandora, you’ve surpassed the limits of eywa. You are nothing but elite-” he shifted in front of you and placed of his hands on the sides of your face. It forced you to look him in the eyes, and listen to what he was saying.
“Shes gone though- I cant hunt like they do. I am not a warrior of the sea. I can do nothing now. And youre just- you can do everything I can’t” the more you talked, the harder you made it for yourself to stop crying. All of the emotion, all of the anger, the grief, the aggravation, just crumbled. Along with that stupid golden child complex of yours.
“Y/n. Shut up. You are so amazing to me it hurts. The only reason you feel like this is because for the first time, you can’t do something. But that’s okay. I’m here. I see you.” He pressed his forehead to your own, wiping the tears that left your eyes with his thumb. You closed your eyes, and let him embrace you. This was strange, weakened wasn’t something either of you were very keen on showing, especially with him, especially not when it made you feel like this. Like neteyam was more than a rival.
“You promise?”
“Of course. ”
The two of you sat there for a moment, foreheads pressed closely, his hand on your shoulder and your face, comforting you with touch, rubbing circles into your back and wiping tears away. You could feel his breath, his heartbeat. And that alone was able to calm you down. Just him.
Just neteyam.
“I’m sorry- I know this is stupid I just didn’t know who else to ask and I thought you-“ it only took you a few seconds to realize the intimacy of the situation, him holding you, pressed up against your face, if anybody were to see you your parents would throw a fit. Your cheeks flushed a deeper shade of purple-y blue, and you stood up, breaking the locked eyes you had with the boy. He just chuckled.
“Does this mean I win?“ he let out the same giggle tuk might have when you went to throw the ilu saddle at him. Which eventually turned into him tackling you into the water. The two of you laughed, pretending to forget whatever just happened, whatever step the two of you just took in your relationship, trying to avoid whatever feelings both of you were most certainly having all of a sudden.
“Oh shut up”
———
*Bonus*
Anuong And loak watch your two figures from a farther away peer, they had been training when they caught eyes of the two golden silly’s getting a little too close for comfort. Immediately lo-ak was cackling at how stressed neteyam looked being so close to you.
“Let’s make a bet, loser has to do the others chores for a month” anuong spoke, staring at the two of you with intent. Lo-ak raised an eyebrow and smiled, it was so funny, he’d always been able to see it. The two of you were head over heels, you just couldn’t see it.
“I’d give it a week before they’re on top of eachother like mates” he answered, leaning over the edge of the peer and watching the two of press together. He couldn’t blame his brother for being so in love with you , you were amazing. Doesn’t mean he wouldn’t use your relationship to his advantage.
“You’re on, fish lips.”

This was not the situation that [Name] thought she would be in when she agreed to teach Jake Sully to hunt.
Ever since Jake Sully had fumbled into [Name]’s clans territory, he had been a pain in her ass. From the moment she saved him from being eaten by viperwolves, to the hunt they were currently on, Jake had been nothing but a Skxawng. Though throughout [Name]’s intense training and Jake proving to be learning very fast, he still stayed true to his promise of being an empty cup.
Which has led them to the situation they were today. Neytiri had told [Name] of the hunt and how it would be a great test of Jake’s training, as to hunt as one of the people was a great honour and showed great skill.
Now unfortunately for [Name], Jake Sully’s skills in hunting were not the problem. As anyone could guess, it was his idiocy.
As [Name] heard the familiar sounds of a Hammerhead herd, she quickly tapped Jake shoulder pointing to the herd she could now see in the distance between the trees.
“There. That is what we will hunt.”
“Hammerheads? But they are so big and there are so many!” Jake practically whined, a determind look quickly taking over his face.
“It is not easy, but I will show you how to kill.” [Name] stated, firm look in her eye as she watched the look on Jake’s face.
Rolling her eyes, she jumped how from off of the tree branch to a branch below. Jake following not far behind, albeit much less graceful.
Approaching slowly towards the herd, [Name] hid behind a tree, watching as Jake went to do the same.
She let out a slow breath before starting, “Be very calm, stay very still. We do not want to disturb the herd, we only want the one that is farthest from the herd. That one we will hunt.”
Jake looked around the tree quickly to see which of the Hammerhead’s [Name] was talking about. [Name] flicked him in the head before letting out a quiet hiss.
“I said quiet.” [Name] whisper-yelled. “Now follow my lead.”
[Name] began to slowly walk across a branch directly over the hammerhead they would hunt. She lined up her arrow, Jake following suit, taking a deep breath they pulled back the string creating tension as they carefully aimed at the target.
“Be careful not to alert the herd.” [Name] hissed quietly. Jake only took a deep breath in acknowledgement.
“Aim for the eyes.” She whispered, hardly any sound coming out of her mouth as she focused on the hammerhead.
Jake carefully aimed at the eye closest to him.
“When say ‘now’, we shoot. Okay?”
“Okay.”
“Now!” [Name] commanded.
Jake and [Name] fired their arrows at the same time, hitting both the eyes individually. The Hammerhead cried in pain, throwing it’s head back the hammer shaped head hit the branch the two were stood on. While [Name] had a firm stance thus staying in place, Jake did not, resulting in is fall. As Jake fell out of the tree and on to the ground beside the dying Hammerhead, [Name] yelled in fear and frustration. She quickly jumped down beside Jake where he was getting up slowly. His fall wasn’t very far, but it sure did make a noise.
A Jake got to his feet, he found exactly why [Name] standing in front of him protectively. In front of them was the entire her growling and gearing up to charge. She hissed at them and Jake could only stare at the herd seemingly about to charge.
“They won’t charge if you show no fear, they fear you. But I do not want them to fear us, we must get out of their way. Jake slowly walk behind the hunted Hammerhead.” [Name] explained as calm and clearly as she could, careful to not trigger the Hammerhead herd.
As Jake took steps back, he stepped on a stick, breaking it. That sound seemed to have echoed around them. The Hammerhead herd was quick to respond, running at full speed toward the two.
“Run! Run!” Jake yelled.
“No! Do not move!” [Name] commanded.
Jake stood still, remembering his past experience with this animal. After a moment the herd seemed to have lost interest, looking away from the two and continue eating the vegetation.
Jake let out a breath of relief and began to walk towards [Name].
“Damn, that almost was the end of us.” He tried to joke but [Name] wasn’t having it.
“You are like a baby! You are fumbling and bumbling around, are you out of you mind!” [Name] sighed, he was going to be the death of her.
[Name] climbed on the hammerhead, pulling out her spear from behind her.
“Oh come on. We are not dead though! And look! We got the game!” Jake tried, trying to ease the tension.
[Name] quickly stabbed through one of the pierced eyes, muttering a goodbye and a short prayer to Eywa.
“Come on, we have let the clan know so that we can make full use of this Hammerhead.”
It was just as they jumped down from the hammerhead when all of the hammerhead herd came running at them.
“Now we run!” [Name] yelled, starting to run away.
“What why now!?” Jake yelled in fear and confusion, following quickly behind [Name].
“They are not charging at us, they are running away!” [Name] yelled desperately.
“Shit” Jake swore.
The herd was encroching fast, the two could not out run the massive Hammerhead herd.
“Run to the side!”
“Where?!” Jake yelled back.
“Up that tree to the left!”
Jake looked to the left finding a large tree only a few feet away. Jake made a beeline, jumping on a low branch and climbing higher. He looked down to see if [Name] was close behind only to have find her at the bottom of the tree, leg bleeding violently.
“Fuck, [Name].” Jake swore again, jumping down to pick her up. He put his arms around her back and under her legs and jumped on the tree, trying his best to climb with someone in his arms. When he go high enough to be out of the way of the hoard, he took a closer look at the Na’vi in front of him.
A dumb look came over his face as he stared at her face.
She still looks beautiful even when she’s in pain.
A groan from [Name], brought him out of his head. He sat down on the tree and moved her so her back was resting on his knee. He observed the wound in front of him, it was bad, very bad. Ripping some vines from the tree, he tied the skin above the wound tight in hopes to slow down the blood flow.
Calling his Ikran, he held her close hoping that she wouldn’t bleed out on the way back. He looked down at her, and frowned.
“Please don’t leave me, I’m not ready.”
༶•┈┈┈┈┈┈୨♡୧┈┈┈┈┈•༶
When [Name] awoke, it was well after eclipse, the night life around her glowing. She found when she tried to move, a bolt of pain rippled up her leg. Her sudden groaning in pain seemed to wake up the avatar beside her for a moment before he fell back asleep.
[Name] rolled her eyes, of course he was sleeping.
The healer walked in moments later, seemingly having heard her pain.
“He has been here the whole time.” The healer began, cleaning up some of the wound before continuing.
“He wouldn’t leave your side even if we tried, and we tried.” She sighed. “He is a stubborn one.”
“That he is.” [Name] agreed softly, smiling at the sleeping body next to her. She lifted a hand to move the hair out of his face.
“You’ve got a good one there.” The healer added before walking away, [Name] swore she could she a faint smile on her face.
Just then Jake started to stir again, lifting his head and blinking his eyes getting used to the light.
Just as he saw [Name] was awake, he jumped up and gave her a quick run down.
“Fuck! You’re okay!” Jake beamed, throwing his arms around [Name], holding her close.
“I thought you were going to die.” Jake muttered softly, tightening the hug.
The hug was tight but it was also soft, a gentle touch like Jake was trying not to break her.
“I thought I lost you…” Jake whispered and [Name] would have missed it if she wasn’t so close.
After a moment, [Name] arms slowly came up to Jake’s back, holding him in place.
It wasn’t long before [Name] was holding him just as tight. A soft smile on her face.
Jake might be a Skxawng, but he was her Skxawng.

NOT FULLY PROOFREAD ANGST??
Tears fill your daughter's eyes. That sight is enough to break your heart in half. Tsireya snuck off with Loak beyond the reef. I know they knew better but Tonowari was too hard on her. He lets her go and you start a conversation with him about today. “You’re too hard on her my love,” I say, referring to Tsireya, grabbing some fresh fish from the daily catch. I sit it down on the table and begin to cut it.
“I must be tough on these kids for the future of our people.” He says, sighing and rubbing his forehead. I shook my head, cutting the fish slightly harder. “It isn’t always about our people Tonowari, this is about our children. By chance, they need to lead our people.” He gets up and sits next to me. I stop cutting and look him in the eyes. We have a conversation by looking into each other's eyes. “I understand why she left past the reef with him, she was blinded by love,” I said to him tilting my head toward him smiling then grabbing the fish and setting it down by the pot to cook it. “Yes, but what could she know about love?” Tonowari asks, confused about his youngest child in love. “The same thing we knew.” I smile, reminiscing on the time we snuck out of the village and swam around. I chuckle at the memory of us, having to bond with a random Ilu that just happened to be swimming around cause we lost ours.
“You remember when we were supposed to be studying but kept joking around and your mother got mad about it so we passed notes around?” I say lighting a small fire below the pot I was gonna cook the fish in. “But that was harmless jokes and note passing, not sneaking outside the reef!” He replies slightly raising his voice, I set the fish in the pan along with some herbs and seasoning. “That’s beside the point your daughter cried today knowing her father was disappointed in her. You shouldn’t have been so harsh my love” I turned my head toward him leaning on the Marui wall.
“But what if she gets hurt because of that boy?!” Tonowari yelled in a slightly shaky voice, he was worried for her, dare I say scared? I sigh and walk up to him. “You know that you wouldn’t allow that,” I say, grabbing his shoulders and rubbing them. “But what if I'm not there to save her? What if I fail?!” Tonowari replies by second-guessing himself. “You know that by the will of Eywa that will not be the case,” I say sighing, removing a hand from his shoulder and placing it upon his face. “If the day comes, we will worry about it then no sense if we focus on something that might never happen” He leans into my palm and frowns. “Perhaps you are right but I just want the best for her, I only said I was disappointed because I was scared she could get hurt.” He says lifting his head from my hand and allowing me to go and check on the fish. I lift it off the fire, blow out the fire and sit it back down. “She adores everything you do Tonowari, whether it’s a small speech or even catching fish. She watches everything you do with awe.” I smile, Tsireya was always her father's child. Even trying to catch her fish. “She’ll need you from now until her last breath, You know why? Because you're her father” I say still smiling with my husband. He leans his head down and places his forehead on mine as I kiss him. “Go talk to her. I’m sure she wants to talk to her father.” I lift my forehead and let him leave the Marui in search of his daughter.
Tonowari’s pov:
I walk across the beach and see my daughter sitting down near the edge of the water crying. Her body balled up with knees covering her face. I let out a shaky sigh realizing I caused this. I sit next to her and she looks up at me before scooting away. “What do you want?” I feel slightly shocked at her attitude but I couldn’t blame her. “I’m sorry,” I say, letting out a sigh and scooting closer to her. I placed my hand on her back, she didn’t budge, she just let out a couple of sniffles. “I was scared that when you went beyond the reef you could get hurt, anything and I wouldn’t be there to stop it..” She lifted her head eye’s slightly red. “I’m sorry to dad, I know better you were right to be disappointed in me” I almost broke down then and there. I could never be truly disappointed in her. I just wanted the best for her. “Oh no, you didn’t disappoint me, gave me a heck of a scare but you could never disappoint me.” I let out a chuckle and saw her smile slightly before I continued “You're my daughter. You and your siblings and mother are the things that keep me pushing. The stars in my night sky.” I say, I open my arms to her for a hug. It took her a second to start to close my arms before I felt her jump into my arms and hold me tightly. “I love you dad” I smile and whisper ‘I love you’ before being playful and picking her up and jumping into the water. I see her smile and we swim up before she splashes me.
Y/n stands on the beach smiling before calling out for Aonung. “Come get in the water, Mom!” Tsireya yells at her. She nods and tells Aonung to come in with her. “But momm I just got out, the water's cold!” Aonung complains. She reaches a little edge of the water before she tells Aonung to come here and pushes him into the water and laughs before cannonballing herself. We all laugh before having a few splash fights and swimming challenges. Like who can swim faster stuff like that.
SORRY FOR SHORT IMAGINE! I HAVE BEEN BUSY WITH SCHOOL BUT WILL GET MORE IMAGINES OUT SOON!

authors note; if you dont like the "has kids and is pregnant" trope, this is not for you !!!! this is basically a headcanon explaining why jake is so tough on his sons in atwow !!
d/n = daughters name
s/n = sons name.
i didn't want to make up names in case readers would like to do that on their own. personally i imagined the kids in way of water lol
theme; you tell jake he's being too hard on your kids - he tells you why.
pairing; dilf jake sully x reader
warnings; bad ending !! clearly what i need to work on the most. mentions of death and war. intentional lower caps
Tumblr media
"Jake." I began, looking at him with that look on my face as he finished lecturing our son. This conversation we were about to have must not be had in front of the kids, as that might make it seem like i don't respect jake when he sets a boundary or makes a decision. if thats what it looked like to our kids they could start not listening to him - which is the last thing i'd want.
but it was getting out of hand, and it made me uncomfortable.
we had three kids, one on the way. two boys, one girl.
i always thought him being much more strict with our sons was because they were older and needed to take more responsibility than our daughter had to - because i agreed with that. he did lecture d/n when he had to (so she wouldn't get a suffocating attitude and behavior as a grown up. parenting !) but with our boys it was very different. he'd lecture them about everything, and being very harsh and closed minded when he did so.
jake caught on, nodding.
"you guys go ahead, your mother and I will be right behind you." he said, patting our oldest sons back twice before they went off, mumbling to each other.
"i told you he'd freak out!"
"shut up, jerk. it was your idea."
"oh, yeah? you're the one who started it!"
i waited until they were out of hearing distance before i began again, turning from their direction and to my mates.
"you are very hard on them." i said as i turned around, gaining a sigh from jake in response.
"we've been over this, y/n. they're teenagers. they can't grow and mature with kisses and hugs."
"but it is more than that. you cannot expect them to make no mistakes." it is hard enough already for them with their father being who he was. but like every other na'vi they wanting to make their father and anyone with his name proud - that wouldn't be such a fight if he didn't have so high and unrealistic expectations.
"i don't." Jake responded fast, sounding over it already. he hated having to explain his reasoning - having to explain and defend himself.
"they think you do. that's whats important - they think you have expectations they will never be able to fulfill."
"they said that?"
"once. but they do not have to. i see it - i feel it." i felt very close to all of my children, like if they were physically hurt, I was too.
"I'm their father - its my job to be hard on them. toughen them up for the real world."
"your daughter is growing up in the same world - you don't treat her the same and they see it, jake." the absolute last thing id ever wish for is for jake to be so tough that it creates a wedge between two sons and a father.
"what do you want me to do, hm? let them run off and break every rule we set for them? that is not the kind of example i want to set for the youngest; that you can do whatever you want, whenever you want with no consequences." as he said the word youngest, he placed a hand on my stomach. ever since i got pregnant, he had gotten even more strict. i thought it was because he didn't want to stress me out with our kids (specifically boys) being wild, doing things they shouldn't be doing, but i'd never asked.
"talk to me, ma jake. why are you like this?" before we had our oldest, s/n, jake was very fun. definitely the wildest man i had ever met, always doing something he shouldn't. he was still like that, but less than before. i knew it was because he had matured massively since then, but i wish he'd seen himself in our sons before being so quick to judge their excitement for the world around them.
"because that's how my father raised me and my brother - i think i turned out alright. that's what i want for them. to turn out alright. more than alright - i want them to be the men they were born to be." he explained, struggling a little to keep the eye contact between us.
Jake was not one to talk about his family or his life before Pandora. i knew about his brother and his warrior background, but his parents weren't a subject he'd heavily touch on unless heavily forced.
"when i was a marine, i could be careless. it's more to the story but in the end, i lost my legs because i wasn' thinking two steps ahead. i didn't have my father to correct and lecture me, so i'm giving it to my kids." Jake was very grateful for this chapter in his life, more thankful for this than anything. being able to wiggle his toes and run in the forest was a gift he did not recognize until it was lost. not being able to do so as a human threw him to the wolves of depression - same affect as losing his brother.
he'd hate for one of his sons to get badly injured or even worse: one losing the other like he had lost his brother many years ago.
i opened my mouth to respond, but he quickly shut me off by continuing.
"my father raised me like this and I will continue raising my sons like this. you might not agree with me on everything, but i know i'm doing the right thing."
In response, i just nodded, looking down. i felt slightly bad for bringing it up, seeing the direction it had gone in. Jake had lost his brother and didn't want our kids to fall in his footsteps of fate.

pairing: A1 Jake sully x navi reader
One of his favorite parts of you (on the down low), is your tail …
Like how it shoots up when you see something interesting or how it flings around when you laugh or move, to him it’s the cutest thing ever.
Sometimes when he walks behind you, he’ll just admire how your tail sways with your body. He’ll reach over and tug it from the base, making you squeal. He loves to tease you.
The na’vi body is still somewhat foreign to him, and that only adds to his adoration of your tail.

Tumblr media
"I will see you tonight, ma syulang," Neteyam whispered to you with his lips still firmly placed on your forehead, connecting the two of you with a kiss. He swung his bow over his shoulder and around his back before leaving your hold.
You smiled sweetly, "Be careful, ma 'Teyam." He grinned as his friends pulled him away from you. Neteyam looked over his shoulder so his eyes could stay on yours until he was so deep into the forest you could no longer see his figure.
It would be another day without your lover. He was off with his father and the other hunters in the clan. As time passed, it became sooner and sooner that Neteyam would become olo'eyktan. He slowly gained more responsibilities and duties, meaning he had less time for you.
Nonetheless, you would support him through anything. No matter how far he seemed to be or how long he was away, he carried his heart in your hands and you carried his.
You exited the village with an empty basket tucked underneath your arm. Since you had more time to yourself, you'd recently taken up small walks into the forest by yourself. As a child, you were not permitted to wander about the forest alone, so you had never seen the true beauty of your home. Now that you were older, you could appreciate Pandora's beauty. There were plenty of flowers that you'd pick by the stem, the animal life fascinated you, and there were a few times where you stayed out past eclipse when the plant life around you illuminated the night.
Sometimes, Kiri would accompany you on your walks; she had a beautiful connection to the nature of the forest. However, she had also been busy recently as the new protege of Mo'at, the Tsahik.
You were, unfortunately, alone today. You sang a sweet melody to yourself as a few elders said goodbye. Although you valued your alone time, it was also an opportunity for dark thoughts in your head to overwhelm you.
It's been harder without him lately, the voice said to you. The village was far behind you now. Maybe he doesn't feel the same anymore.
"Shut up!" You whispered. If anyone else heard you talking to yourself like this, you'd surely be called crazy. Even though...you did feel a little bit crazy.
Think about it. You found a small clearing of trees, where a spacious area of grass was adorned with small flowers. Why won't he spend time with you anymore?
"Neteyam is very busy now," you spoke out loud to the voice, kneeling on the forest floor and placing your basket next to your legs. You began to pluck an assortment of white, pink, and purple flowers from the ground. "He is to be olo'eyktan."
The various colors of the flowers complimented each other. "Perhaps I will make him another necklace." You said to yourself now.
Another necklace? Why would he want that? You groaned. The voice in your head was not yours. It was like a small demon lurking in the dark. You were most definitely losing your sanity. "Neteyam loved the necklace I gave him. He said he would never take it off, he wears it everyday."
You gently placed the flowers into your basket before reaching to pick more. Was he wearing it today? You froze. Your hand hovered above a pink flower as you retraced your thoughts to earlier that day when Neteyam said goodbye. You were trying so hard to remember that your head began to hurt.
And then the picture came to your mind. Neteyam, your sweet boy, kissed you on your forehead. You watched him as he was walking away and...there was no flower necklace around his neck.
You could feel your heart slowly beginning to crack, but you brushed off the thoughts before you completely split in two. "That's enough," you said, moving away from the pink flower.
You annoy him, it's so obvious.
This time, you did not respond to the voice. You stayed silent as you picked up your basket and made your way back to the village. Thankfully, the voice did not speak again.
──
You decided to take a different route back to the village than the way you had gone earlier. Although this path was longer, and it was urgent to you that you return before Neteyam did so you could welcome him with open arms, it felt necessary to use the time to make sure the voice was completely gone.
So far, it had just been you alone in the forest--no voice, no Kiri, nobody. And even though your loneliness had been the root of your unhappiness lately, you enjoyed it at this moment.
Until you heard the murmurs of someone else's voice from a distance. You were convinced that you had completely lost your mind until you saw the figure of a young Navi girl. Beside her was a Navi boy with braids that reached his shoulders. They sat side-by-side, their backs against the log of a fallen tree, and their bows thrown on the ground.
"Your father is so strict!" The girl giggled. You couldn't recognize her voice.
Are you willing to bet who that is? The voice returned, almost scaring you enough to let out a small gasp. "Shut up," you whispered, muffled by a collection of bushes and leaves.
The boy laughed along with her. "Yes, he can be a little much sometimes." You recognized that voice well. What was your Neteyam doing with a girl alone in the forest? Are you sure he's your Neteyam?
You refused to respond. Instead, you listened in even closer to them. "Don't listen to him," the girl looked at Neteyam with wide eyes and a smile that practically sparkled. She had small streaks of paint on her face--the marks of an Omaticaya hunter. "I thought you did very well, today."
"Thank you, Pemma," Neteyam chuckled, almost as if he was blushing. You recognized the girl as you heard him as say her name. Pemma was the same age as you, but you two were hardly similar. You were studying to become a healer and could never hurt a single soul; she was a fierce and tough warrior that made clean kills during hunts. "You are very skillful with a bow."
She smiled warmly. I was right, the voice spoke again. Look at how he's looking at her. "Would you leave me alone?" You whispered louder this time. Although neither of them noticed your voice, their ears slightly twitched like an instinct.
"Yes, but I could always use more practice," Pemma's voice practically dripped with want. Her eyes never left Neteyam's body. "Perhaps you can show me some tricks sometime?"
You could vomit collecting in your throat. Your hand whipped to cover your mouth to stop yourself from audibly gagging at the thought of your Neteyam being intimate with another girl.
As much as it hurt your heart, you continued to watch Neteyam and Pemma. He hesitated and laughed softly, "My father is a great warrior." Your Neteyam was so sweet and gentle, even when turning down another girl. "He would be a much better teacher."
Before you could hear her reply, which would've most likely been a sly remark about why she preferred Neteyam over Jake, you slipped away into the forest. Your footsteps were light as you neared the village. "See," you spoke to yourself. "Neteyam chooses me."
If that is what you think...
──
For the first time that day, it was peacefully silent in your tent. The rest of your family was busy with their duties, so you tended to yours by yourself. The voice you'd been hearing had disappeared, and you'd even managed to get any thoughts of Neteyam out of your head.
Until he appeared in the doorway with his soft smile that made your heart unfold.
"Ma syulang," he cooed when he saw you sitting on the floor like a child with a collection of flowers splayed out in front of you. Your fingers had been weaving them into a small necklace.
You smiled warmly, "Ma 'Teyam," as he sat down across from you. "You're safe." You pretended like you hadn't seen him earlier.
He took three flowers into his hands and held them in his palm, before taking the thin stems and knotting them together so they were interlinked. Just like you had taught him. "How was your day?"
"Good," you lied through your teeth, looking back down to your flowers. All of a sudden, you remembered exactly what the voice had said earlier. Another necklace? Why would he want that? You avoided Neteyam's loving gaze, igniting a spark of concern in his heart.
You did not feel the urge to finish the flower necklace as the dark emotions began to take over your mind. "Ma (y/n)?" he reached you to you, placing his hand on top of yours. "Are you alright?"
There was not much else to do except to lie or to tell him the truth. What would happen if you told him the truth? Would he feel annoyed? Would he even care? Neteyam loved you very much, it was unfair to doubt his feelings for you...but you'd rather leave him alone than make him irritated with your stupid insecurities.
With a long silence as your answer, he set the flowers down and moved closer to you. "What is wrong?"
You tried to look away as if it would help you avoid the conversation, but it was clear that Neteyam would not leave without an honest answer. "You love me," you began, and Neteyam nodded without hesitation. "so you care about me?"
Neteyam laughed with a confused tone. "Of course, I care about you..."
"And you love me no matter what, right?"
His fingers held your chin and pushed your head up so yours eyes met his. Neteyam's heart broke when he saw tears were just barely holding themselves from falling. "Ma syulang..." he caressed your cheek. "I will always love you."
Your bottom lip quivered, "I feel like a bother." A tear fell down your cheek, and Neteyam's own eyes began to water. "I do not want to annoy you...you are to be olo'eyktan, you have your duties. You have to focus! You don't have time to worry about me."
"(y/n), I will always worry about you if I need to."
The voice's words still repeated in your head. "I just don't want to become a problem."
"Oh, ma (y/n)," his arms swooped in and wrapped around you, pulling your head to his chest so his head sat on top of yours. His thumb gently rubbed over your hair. Neteyam quietly shushed you as you started to cry. "You will never bother me. You will never be a problem. My heart belongs to you, I will always be here for you."
"Why didn't you wear the necklace?" You motioned to his neck. You felt stupid for bringing this up at such a moment.
His hand reached the naked area around his neck. "I...didn't want to tell you. I felt awful," he said. "I lost it while hunting yesterday. Ask my father, I spent hours trying to find it. I was going to ask you to make me another one?"
You nodded, "Of course, 'Teyam, all you need is to ask."
"I will never take it off or lose it again. I love you, ma (y/n), I will do anything for you."
You broke the embrace to look at his eyes again. Beautiful, golden eyes that never failed to comfort you. "Do you promise?"
With a smile, Neteyam wrapped his pinky finger around yours. It was a silly trick that his father had brought with him from Earth, and now, Neteyam carried it on with you. "I promise," his lips met yours with a sweet, heartfelt kiss.

The hunt had been long. A long day spent on their Ikrans surveilling the forest until they found the herd of talioang(sturmbeest) in order to hunt for the feast. The celebration was in a few days and the clan needed meat in order for the feast to be complete. So, [Name] and Jake Sully volunteered, although Jake and [Name] were not entirely sure what the celebration was for, along with a few other of the frequent hunters of the tribe.
Although long, the hunt had been good. Their job for the day was to track down where the herd had moved to in order to prepare the hunting group for the Hunt. They flew all around the common breeding and gathering grounds of the talioang(sturmbeest) with a few others in order to find which area the herd was located.
They had spent the entire day searching from the skies above to find the next feast for the clan, without breaks or rest. Instead, favouring their commitment to seeing the task through before they retired to their hammocks. As the day ticked by, they seemed to remain in the skies with no sight on any herds of any kind in the forests below.
But after a long day, Jake and [Name], along with the others, had found the herd. The others were quick to get back to the clan to share the news with the hunters and [Name] and Jake were just happy the day was over.
To say they were tired was an understatement. The moment they landed their Ikran, they were ready to sleep. They had hardly made it a few feet when they decided walking a back to the Hometree would take too long for the sleepy couple. So, making their way to a soft, glowing patch of bioluminescent moss, they found their spot next to a large looming tree.
Just as they made their way, hand in hand, they found themselves becoming more and more drowsy with every step. The beauty of pandora at night had a strange way of lulling [Name] and Jake to a sleepy state. As Jake sat down next to the tree, a tree which he thought resembled that of a willow tree from earth, with [Name] close behind. His arms were wide open while [Name] made her decent, welcoming [Name] into his arms for comfort.
Jake and [Name] took great comfort in each other and ever since they had mated, the had spent every night cuddled close in each other’s arms. This night was no different.
Holding her close, Jake sighed at the comfort he gained from the contact. [Name]’s hugs and body on his was the most wonderful thing in the world to him. All he could think about most days was [Name], so while she was safely tucked in his chest, Jake was happy. He was happy just to see [Name], but having her in his arms was a unexplainable level of bliss.
[Name]’s situation was no different. It was no secret they loved each other but [Name] always felt a need to prove that to him. And although Jake knew of [Name]’s undying love, him experiencing this same love for [Name], [Name] would provide her mate with all of the affection that he wanted, in order for him to know he was loved.
Comforted in on another’s arms brought a new level of exhaustion as the activities of the day finally weighed on them. The stars and the canopy of the trees above provided the two cuddling close with much comfort. Sometimes Jake liked to imagine how earth was doing, it was amusing to him just how luck he had it over all of the others that resided on earth. [Name]’s soft and even breathing reminded him of where he was, leaving a sleepy but satisfied smile on his face. It wasn’t long after that he followed his mate and drifted off to sleep.
The world of Pandora was large and beautiful, dangerous sure, but exceptionally beautiful. And as the couple slept under the stars and the caring eye of Eywa, all they could feel was peace. Although Pandora kept spinning, and the wildlife around them kept awake, the two would sleep snuggled close until they were needed again. But for now, all they needed to do was sleep.

YOU'RE DEAD TO ME
[12: EPILOGUE]
dad!Jake Sully x human!daughter!reader
Tumblr media
In which Jake Sully leaves his life on earth to settle down with the Omatikaya people as Toruk Makto. Having a family that consists of four kids with Neytiri, everything seems to work out just fine, but what if the past comes back for him? And his babygirl is right there in front of him?
previous chapter
next chapter [none]
The air felt so much lighter and the sun much brighter. Cold water droplets landing on your warm skin as you sat under a damp tree, cooling your sweating body down. Your fingertips touched the mossy ground from under you as they disappeared into the green grass that stood tall.
The touch tickled your skin as you enjoyed the peaceful scenery around you.
Peace.
Quiet.
At ease.
No sounds of war surrounding you or the horrifying screams of the natives filling your eardrums. Just the noise of chirping animals in the background as you inhaled the pandoran air. Your eyes closed as you dozed off, back rested against the same tree you're settling down under.
Your ears twitched. There was a change of background noise. You heard it.
Chirp chirp rustle chirp.
It wasn't loud, but you caught onto it. Your eyes were still closed, waiting for any other unusual sound. A rustle. A thud. The hand that roamed around the high grass moved slowly, but delicately towards your dagger. Your nails dug into the dirt as your hand wrapped around the weapon. You heard another couple of rustles and tried to pinpoint out in your head where THEY would be now. It was more than one.
You could hear soft thuds of footsteps in between a pair of footsteps and the same bush was hit twice. You tried to imagine the scenery in front of you. A small hill in the corner of your right eye, from behind there a small little river flowing down with around the edge a huge bush. Surrounding you just a bunch of naturally placed trees from all sizes. You knew there was a branch just a few meters in front of you. You placed it there for occasions like these. The wood was small, therefore hard to spot thanks to the high grass.
You waited and waited.
Until, snap.
The branch was crushed in half and you jumped from the ground, dagger in hand as you pointed it towards the danger that you would soon face with a soft hiss leaving your lips. Well, a danger isn't what you could really call it, as Lo'ak and Tuk stood in front of you with their hands thrown up in defense.
"Calm down! It's us! Damn, you really got feisty in that form." Lo'ak yelped it out as he took a step back. He then turned to Tuk who was stood on the broken branch. "Tuk! You should watch where you're going! Now our entire stealth plan in scaring sis is ruined!" The words almost escaped his lips with a whine, almost. Tuk's ears ppinted downwards as she gazed at her feet, "I'm sorry..."
A sigh left your lips, shaking your head in the process. You walked up to your siblings. Where you would usually reach Lo'ak around his stomach and Tuk around her neck, you were now facing his neck instead as Tuk reached your stomach.
You put your navy blue hand on her head as you rubbed her head, "It's okay, little Tuk. Lo'ak is just being a meanie! Right?" You then faced your little brother and grabbed him by his cheek. You pulled hard, causing him to yelp out, "right?" You frown as you look up at him, eyes squinted. He immediately nodded in response, his ears flopping slightly as he did so. A small "yes" left his lips and you let go of his cheek in satisfaction.
"Dad wants you back, actually. It's almost dinner time."
"And he sent you?" You raised your eyebrow in suspicion, soon squinting your eyes awaiting an answer from him.
"Okay okay! I actually overheard dad talking to mom so I uhh.... went to get you and took Tuk with me?" He already took a step back as he spoke, scratching behind his neck, "Don't kill me! I just uh, missed you???"
You pinch the bridge of your nose, "Of course you did. You know that if you go somewhere you need to tell someone, especially with taking little Tuk here. I'm not mad, but just, don't wander off without saying a word alright? It's still dangerous out here." You bring your hand to his cheek, this time rubbing it instead of pulling at it like a pillow, "I care about you, you know that right?"
Lo'ak's tail swayed and hit the ground as it did so, nodding his head in understanding, "I'm sorry.."
You shook your head, "no, don't apologize, just, try your best alright? You can also notify me whenever you go somewhere. Now come on you two, we got dinner to catch, don't we?" You pat both of their shoulders, before pulling away and sprinting away.
"Last to get to High Camp gets the tiniest piece of dessert!"
All those years of tormenting yourself, closed off, blinded by anger and sadness. Letting the negative emotions consume you whole. You didn't know what you lived for or why you lived. Negative thoughts taking over your rational way of thinking.
Why did he leave me?
He won't return for me.
Is there something wrong with me?
Did he hate me?
You didn't know what to live for, but now.
"We're back!!" Tuk barged into their shared hut, followed by you and Lo'ak. Neytiri was in a crouched position as she readied the table, but got up once she heard the familiar voice of her daughter, "where were you?! Your father and Neteyam are looking for you as we speak!" She made her way towards Lo'ak, "and you skxawng! What were you thinking bringing your little sister with you!"
Lo'ak's ears point downwards as he got scolded, but you and Tuk soon intervene, "Don't be too hard on him, mother. He can be, unintentionally, reckless. I already talked with him." You explained as you stepped in front of your little brother, putting your hand on his back as you smacked his skin. Tuk stumbled to the front too as she nodded her head, "sis talked to him! And I wanted to explore as well, it's not only on him. It's not so fun to be here the entire day while there is an entire world to explore!"
Neytiri had her hand to her head, shaking her head as the words sunk in, "Lo'ak, Tuk, get to the main grounds to get our dinner."
They obliged to her wishes as they took off, leaving you alone with your mother. You bit the bottom of your lip as you awaited for whatever was to come.
"Are you okay, child?" She put her hand on your shoulder as she spoke. You nodded immediately at her question, "Don't worry, mother. I just needed a quiet place to think, you know?" You smiled softly at the affection. It took Neytiri a while to fully open up to you, flinching every now and then and subconsciously hissing whenever you approached her. The avatar body seemed to help her open up to you, though.
She nodded her head at your words and pulled away from you, "are you going to eat, with us?" You glanced to the table at her question, counting the place she had placed down. Eight plates. You had to stop a smile from appearing on your face, before nodding your head, "Yes, yes I am."
"There you are, was lookin' for ya." Your feet dangled in the air as you sat on a tree branch, mask sitting back on your face. You turned around once you heard that familiar voice, smiling at your father as you pat the branch empty space next to you.
"You disappeared right after dinner. Went looking for you. Didn't know I had to look for a tiny ant instead." Jake sat down next to you with a teasing grin, his palm raising to stroke your hair.
You scoffed at that remark, trying to push his arm away from you, "shut up, old man. I'm not a kid anymore."
"You'll always be my little girl."
Once you looked up at his face, you had noticed he was already staring at you with so much love and care in his eyes.
"This is so embarrassing.." you mumbled from under your mask as you hid your face into his arm. He could only chuckle in response. A peaceful silence took over, the sound of the wind rustling the leaves around you ringing through your ears.
After a few moments, Jake had opened his mouth, "thank you."
You could only look up at him confused, not speaking as you waited for him to explain himself. ", for giving me another chance." He breathed out from under his breath and even though it came out as a mumble, you heard the words loud and clear.
"You're my dad, after all."
The two of you exchanged a smile, before you turned back to look at the scenery, the sun saying goodnight as the moon decided to rise and shine.
"Dad!" Neteyam climbed through the trees with Lo'ak on his heels. The two brothers had sparkles in their eyes as they made their way to the two of you.
"Awee, why did you shrink back?" Lo'ak almost pouted as he pointed your human form out. You could only roll your eyes to visibly show him how you felt about that question.
"Did something happen, boys?" Jake had turned around, voice laced in worry and tenderness as he scanned his boys for any injuries.
"No, we are fine! Uhm we just had the ides to.. Neteyam!" Lo'ak smacked his older brother with his tail, earning a hiss in return.
"You sxwang!" Neteyam threw his arm around his brother's shoulders, before turning to their father, "we wanted to do a... night flight, actually." His ears turned downwards as he suddenly got all shy. His canines dug into his bottom lip as he awaited for his answer.
You smiled at the scene in front of you. This was your cue.
You yawned loudly as you got up from your sitting position, arms stretching as you spoke, "I'm going back to the lab. I'm so exhausted. Have fun! Make sure to bring me a gift." You hugged your father goodnight, soon turning to your not-so-little brothers and also giving each an individual hug, which turned out in them bearhugging you instead.
You watched as the three of them flew off, shuddering at the cold air that came your way from their wings.
Once arriving at the lab, you soon walked to your shared room with Seb and Raja, who were fast asleep as you entered the room. You shook your head with a chuckle as you were met with their snores. You took your bresthing mask off and hung it above your bed, taking a seat on the soft mattress to take a breather and daydream about your day. You trained, played around in your avatar body, ate dinner with your family and connected a lot with nature. A successful day in your eyes.
Thanks to all the activities, you were worn out and soon fast asleep in your bed.
It was late at night as your bedroom door opened, heavy yet quiet footsteps entering the room in just one singular step. He kneeled down, putting a small object on your nightstand and leaning down to kiss you goodnight.
On the object hung a piece of paper with human writing.
'Nete and Lo'ak found this feather. I tried to make it into a hairpiece. Goodnight my little girl.
- love, dad.'
A/N: this is it. The end of the series. My posting schedule went from daily to irregular and I had a lot of blocks in between posting having internal fights with my love for writing and/or under how much pressure I was. I wanted to add more to the ending, but with some help from someone close to me I realized I had told everything I wanted with this story and that I shouldn't force myself to add more than needed. Thank you all so much for being patient and reading this story as it went. I'm planning to pickup writing oneshots again and hope to feel more love when I write rather than pressure. So, until then! <3
