Logan thing I literally noticed by accident

Okay-- so,

We all know Logan's parents are out of the picture.

It's pretty obvious.

So, I'm now gonna talk about something completely different but it's still relevant to Logan.

So... you notice how their noses are literally the same in shape? Also, their skin tones are EXTREMELY close to one another. One last thing to note is that the eye shape is also pretty similar. (Note that the hair color may not be the same, since it's likely Ryan has black hair due to his eyebrow color... But parents with blonde or brown hair can have a kid with black hair, as long as both parents have the recessive gene, or someone in the family had the gene.)

This is pretty farfetched, but I honestly like the idea of Ryan being Logan's dad already, so now that I accidently made this connection while swooning over Ben's dad just makes my stupid lil au even truer.

Although, it's too farfetched for him to be his dad, so I'm making the safe bet that he's just related to Logan, like perhaps an uncle. It could explain why he doesn't really say anything about Logan, or there wasn't any hint that he was his dad. It could be that he left his family a little after Logan was born, so he would never know how he looked like after some time passed.

(fast pass spoilers here!) He also probably doesn't know the names of the kids (obv), so he won't realize Logan is his nephew for a bit until someone mentions his full name around him, and he's like "Hol' up-- That sounds like the name my sibling gave to their kid--" He also wouldn't care for the parents either, therefore he doesn't know his mom and dad are being kept here. Once he realizes that Logan's his nephew, he'll realize his parents are here. Because if the parents got kidnapped as well, Logan's guardians would also be here.

Now, let's circle back to the first thing I talked about.

I may have an idea on what could've happened to Logan's parents because of the Ryan thing...

Since I was looking for pictures of the grandparents in all s2 episodes, I happened to be reading over the dialogue. When I read this at first, I was like "hm, great words spoken by James." Then I realized, "...WAIT-- WHAT IF THIS WAS THEM SELF-REFLECTING ON THEIR OWN MISTAKE WITH THEIR OWN KID--" And yeah, that's how I came up with this dumb little theory:

What if by possibility, Logan's parents were in danger, and whoever was the child of Mary and Jame's tried telling them about it, but they didn't believe them. So, trying to keep Logan safe (he was just a few months old at the time), they left him at their parents house, lying about needing to run some quick errands with their spouse, and never returned, possibly dead. Mary and Jame's heavily grieve the lost of their child. They already had one run off (Ryan left them after Logan was born, there was a huge fight about his alcoholism problem), and now their second child was missing, possibly dead.

They raised Logan as a sort of apology to their own child. And because of the trauma, they were really protective of Logan.

Now, this could also explain why Mary and Jame's were the first to believe the kids. The situation reminded them of their own kid, and they realized that there could be a chance the gang was in danger, obvious evidence being Tyler. So, to make sure the other parents didn't make the same mistake they made, they stepped up and encouraged the other parents to believe the gang.

Again, this all could be pretty far-fetched, but there's always the chance of it being right. (I also realized Ryan may have seen Mary and James, but never hinted at saying they were his parents, but then again maybe it's either too soon to reveal that, or he couldn't exactly notice since it was likely from a distance.)

!!SPOILERS FOR SBG FASTPASS CHAPTER 83!!

Don't have the energy to really put any effort into this post but this chapter was fun and really interesting.

So we got Ryan's backstory and the reason why he's sticking his neck out to help the kids. We also know that he met Maverick in jail which I have a feeling means that they somehow broke out of jail together and that's why Ryan doesn't have many options, despite clearly wanting to back out of all this business. There's also the fact that Jasmine apparently suspects something is going on with him and has been keeping an eye on him recently. I have a feeling he's going to be busted and he and Alex are gonna suffer from it.

We've also gotten confirmation that the Fields family are retired members of a crime syndicate and that Logan has definitely had some experience with guns. I'm really curious about his parents at this point. Were they friends of Mary and James who died and the two of them took Logan in before retiring? Logan is giving major undercover spy vibes lol. His reaction to Tyler's question about his experience with guns has me super curious.

Overall, great chapter, can't wait for next week

I think that Logan and his grandparents changed their name. Because Logan, James, and Mary are all very common names and the last name Fields is also very common (also ik the whole gang has common names i just like to think into things too much.) Also since they were in a greek syndicate and Logan's grandparents seem to know atleast a little greek they would probably be greek themselves and the surname Fields doesn't originate from greece (as far as i know)

Also I just think it would be common sense to change your name after leaving a criminal organization because if the government takes it down even if you're not apart of it you're going down with it too.

Again, this is just a silly thought so I doubt its true so dont come at me for being unreasonable or something 😞

Both my moots who I usually yap to about stupid crane stuff are sleeping or busy, so...

MAVERICK AND LOGAN'S UNNAMED MOTHER (Caramia...)

He probably loved her so much; he'd hum sweet melodies to her while keeping her close to his heart. Caramia absolutely loved his charming nature.

They would do that dumb romantic dance together in a garden barefoot as they kept each other close, staring into each others eyes so passionately, you'll feel yourself feel butterflies in your stomach.

(Btw this stupid lil hc thing or story goes along with my theory of Mavey being Logangnam style's father)

When Maverick first laid eyes on Caramia, he instantly fell in love, immediately asking her to go out with him. She rejected him at first; she didn't like how he dressed </3

But overtime, she grew to love him. And eventually, they got married.

They definitely didn't plan on having a kid so soon; they were very unprepared.

But, Maverick made the best of the situation; he went out of his way to ensure she was comfortable throughout the pregnancy, and even stayed around long enough to bond with his newborn son.

However, work needed him, so he had to go back to the facility.

He really wanted to be in Logan's life, he wanted to be in his wife's life; but work always called for him to be there.

...if only he stayed by her side a little longer...

!!SBG CHAPTER 80 SPOILERS!!

This chapter was a great mix of comedy and getting to know the parents’ character more. From what we’ve seen from her, I have the feeling Tyler and Marianna have very similar temperaments, which adds a whole other level to the painful mess that is probably Tyler and Taylor’s relationship with their mother and each other.

But moving on, I really love how suspicious Logan’s parents are and can’t wait to see how Logan’s backstory develops. The way everyone is staring at James in this panel lmao XD.

Emma and Mike with the criminal side eye and Marianna just going with the flow lol.

Also this has been bugging me. Wasn’t Mike’s scar on the other side of his face??? I can’t tell if this is a mistake or an actual part of the story lol but it’d be cool if it was.

Mike worrying abt Ashlyn’s scar was cute but I’ve been noticing that Ash has been blaming herself more and more recently while being more dismissive of her own well-being in her attempts to take care of the others. It’s breaking my heart :((

Also what’s with Jessica picking fights with people? Lady is way too eager to try and blame kids for Aiden’s injuries/situation despite the fact that they’ve been taking care of her son most of story and that he also tends to be the reason for his own injuries. First Ashlyn now Tyler. Marianna defending Tyler like that reminded me of Taylor’s beef with Barron lol.

The parents were really out there showing just who their kid takes after lmaooo.

And Lily with the diss XD. Taylor’s face was everything.

Oh, and I totally forgot about the guy, Charlie, in the beginning. I really hope we learn more about him soon, he seems super interesting and I can’t wait for next week.

This chapter is literally almost word for word how I Imagined the kidnapping of the parents all happened and I’m so proud of that fact lol

Mike swearing to kill those people when he was being knocked out and Emma taking the brunt of the attack to protect the other— Ashlyn really is her parents’ daughter XD

The Mike/Emma content was peak

I also love the fact that Mike just doesn’t vibe with the grandparents lol. He just knows something is up and he hates it XD

And who’s this guy? Are we finally getting insight on the two parties that the cranes are hiding from that was mentioned S1? Because the mark on his hand doesn’t look like the usual paper crane, it looks like a different type of bird.

:O maybe it’s a sparrow like in that one panel from season one where Maverick was standing by a window and there was a sparrow perched on the window.
