Summary: YN and Gen bond.
Warnings: ADHD emotions, maybe cussing

“Uncle Jack! I passed!” YN had run from her house next door and into Jensen’s.  She waved a paper around in the air.  “Jensen?” YN entered the front door and walked toward the kitchen.  “Oh, there you are.  I passed my class!” Jensen turned from the fridge and took the paper she shoved in his face with excitement.
“Oh, sweetheart! I’m so proud of you!” His big, protective presence wrapped itself around her.  “I love you so much, and I’m so proud of you for pushing through,” He whispered into her ear.
“Thank you,” she whispered back to him.
“Did you tell your dad?” He backed away to look at her face.
“Yep! He almost cried; I think.”
“That’s not bad, kid!”
“Thanks,” she looked away.
“So… you want your dad to date, huh?”
“He told you?” YN made eye contact with him.
“You’ve mentioned it before,” he shrugged.
“Well, Gen has always been nice, and I can tell they like each other. Like, LIKE each other. Ohhhh.” She emphasized.
“Okay, okay,” he rolled his eyes.
A WEEK LATER
“Hey, Dad.” YN looked over her shoulder.  “Oh, hi Gen.” His daughter sat up on the couch.
“I told you she would be coming over tonight, did you forget?” He raised a brow and glared at her.
“Right. I’m sorry, I forgot. I’ll be back in fifteen.”  She shot off the couch and ran to her room.
“Sorry.  Teenage daughters.” He looked at his date.
“It’s fine.  We’re ordering pizza, it’s not a big deal, Jared.”
Jared, Gen and YN sat down for their meal.  There was small talk, but it was a little awkward.  YN smiled and laughed at the jokes and told Gen about school.
“She almost didn’t pass her classes.” Jared let Gen know.
“Dad!” YN stood from the table and shrieked, embarrassed.  Her face went red.
“Oh, it’s okay.  I don’t need to know, Jared.” Gen tried to calm the situation.  “Are you ready for summer?”
“Ya think?” YN smarted off and walked out of the room.  “Especially since I barely passed!” She yelled over her shoulder.
Jared jumped out of his seat to chase after her for her rudeness, but Gen grabbed his wrist as he was about to pass her. He stopped.  After looking at her fingers wrapped around his wrist and then at her, he tilted his head.
“It’s okay.  Talk to her later.  She is obviously upset.  You have to give her a minute.” Gen read his reaction and slowly let go of her boyfriend’s wrist.
Jared sighed and slowly sat back down.
“Jensen! He embarrassed me!  I almost didn’t pass my classes, he told her! Why?!”  YN screamed into her phone from her room.
“What?”
“He said I was stupid!” YN yelled again.
“Okay, okay,” he soothed.  “I don’t think that’s what he meant, sweetheart.”
“Then what did he mean?” YN paced her room and shouted.
“Sweetie, you’ve got to calm down. I can’t understand you when you yell like that into the phone.”
He heard her take a deep breath.
“It’s always something.  I’m never going to be good enough.  That’s what he tells her the first night the three of us hang out together?!”
“Okay.  I understand, sweetheart.  Maybe he shouldn’t have shared that.  I’m guessing you stomped off?”
“How did you know?”
“Because I know you.” Jensen grinned into the phone.  “You want to make this right before she leaves or not?”
“I guess I need to.”
“Good girl.”
“What do I even say?”
Jensen took a beat to collect his thoughts.
“You’re going to go back into the room and apologize to your dad and Gen and ask if you can have your dinner.  Be respectful the rest of the evening and engage in the conversation.  Okay?”
She could hear the seriousness in her uncle’s voice.
“Okay,” she agreed.
“Promise me you’ll talk to him after Gen leaves?”
“Uncle J-”
“Promise me.”
“Fine.  Gotta go.  Love you.”
YN ended the call, allowed herself to take a moment to collect herself, and walked back toward the kitchen.  She saw her dad and Gen in the middle of a conversation.
“Hi,” YN said quietly.  “Gen, I’m so sorry for leaving like that.  I’m just having a hard time right now, but I shouldn't have been rude.  Dad, I am sorry.  It wasn’t cool of me to do that.”
Jared sat up straighter.
“Thank you, honey.  We appreciate it.”
Gen nodded.
“I didn’t mean to bother you in some way, YN.  That wasn’t my intention.”
“Totally my fault, Gen.” YN stepped into the room and went to her seat.  “Can I finish my dinner with you?” She scanned her dad’s face.
“Absolutely.  Let me warm it up for you.” Jared stood and walked to the microwave across the kitchen.
“Your dad and I were talking about playing a board game, how does that sound?”
“That sounds fun, thanks Gen.”
Over the next six months, Jared and Gen built their relationship.  YN didn’t hang out with Gen that much, but YN liked her enough though.
“Hey,” Jared knocked on YN’s door.  “The semester is almost over, and I checked your grades.  You turned in all those assignments like we talked about.  Nice work.” He smiled as she put her book to the side.
“Jensen helped… again,” YN looked away, ashamed she couldn’t do it on her own.
“Stop that.  You did it.  Everyone needs help now and again.  It’s your grade.  Not his.  You applied some of the things he taught you.  You.  Not him.”
“I, I have good grades?”
“Yeah, you haven’t checked?”
“No.  I always fail.  What’s the point?”
“I know you feel defeated, but you’re doing great.  Keep studying for your last few tests, though. Proud of you.”
“Thanks.” YN pulled the book back in front of her face to hide her emotion.  YN was proud of herself.  She had worked hard her whole life, but it never paid off.  Like ever.  The tears started to fall after her dad turned and left the room.  Smiling to herself, she wiped her tears and continued reading her book.
That evening, Gen came over.
“Hey, YN,” Gen walked into the Padalecki house with a bag of groceries.
“Hi, Gen.”
“Your dad is hanging out at Jensen’s. I thought you might want to have dinner and a movie night with me?”
“Sure,” YN smiled weakly.  She threw off the blanket she was using and turned off the TV.
Once they were seated to eat, YN maintained the conversation more than usual.  As she got to know Gen, it was easier to talk with her.
“Heard school was going well.  Your dad is very proud of you.”
“Yeah, I turned in my assignments that I needed to make up.  School isn’t easy for me, so I’m kind of proud of myself too.”
“That’s really awesome, YN.  School wasn’t easy for me either.”
“Really?”
“The only reason I passed all my classes was because I was on the school soccer team, and we had to keep our grades up.  It took all I had to pass my classes.  Never really figured out why, school just wasn’t my thing.”
“Oh,” YN took in the information.  “I know why I don’t like school.” She sighed. Gen looked over at her quizzically as the woman wiped her mouth with a napkin.  “I have ADHD.”
“I’ve heard of it and know the basic symptoms, but other than that, I don’t know much.  Can you tell me about it?”
“Well,” YN was surprised by her curiosity, she continued.  “It’s like not understanding anything the first time, or completely missing the point altogether.  No organization, and your brain changes how you like to organize things on a daily basis.  You get distracted easily, not because you want to, your brain just moves fast and gets bored easily.  It’s great fun!” YN rolled her eyes playfully.
“Wow.  Sounds like it would be difficult to manage sometimes.” Gen supported her.
“Sometimes.” YN took a bite of her food and coughed.  Her eyes went wide.  She heaved.  YN pointed to her throat.
Gen stood immediately and asked, “choking?”
YN nodded.
Gen hoisted YN out of her chair and performed a de-choking maneuver.  YN coughed some more, and the food was dislodged from her throat.  She reached up to soothe her throat.  Both women heard rustling outside of the kitchen.  They turned to find Jared running into the room.
“Are you okay?” He looked between the two of them.  YN nodded.  Gen explained what happened, and Jared engulfed them both into a single hug.
“She was choking on her dinner, but she’s fine.”
“I’m okay,” YN hoarsely responded.
Jared hugged her again.
“What are you doing back so early?” Gen asked
“Parent’s intuition, I guess.”  Jared shrugged. “Are your ladies having fun?”
“I’d say so,” Gen nudged YN with a smile.
“Yeah,” YN grinned.  “Other than,” she motioned to her throat.
“Well, yes, that makes sense,” he nodded.  “I will let you girls continue.  I’ll be home in a few hours.  If I’m not back by bedtime, in bed by ten, you hear me?”
“I’m sure that won’t be a problem,” Gen assured him.  “I’ll stay until then.”
“Really?” YN turned toward her quickly.  “You would do that?”
“Well, yeah,” Gen returned confidently.  “Of course.”
“Thank you,” Jared nodded and kissed Gen on the cheek.  “Be good, you two.” He grinned.
“Go,” YN shoved him lightly, giggling.
“Okay, have fun!” He waved and exited.
“You want to clean up and watch The Bachelorette?” Gen looked to YN expectantly.
“Oh! Yes! Just don’t tell my dad, he calls it trash,” YN chuckled.
“Awesome, let’s do it!”
The next day, YN and Jared were sitting on the couch.  She paused the TV and sat quietly.
“Uh.  Hello?” Jared jokingly elbowed his daughter.  When she didn’t respond, he stopped.  “What’s wrong?”
“I think you should marry her.”
Jared’s mouth fell open.
“Wha- what?” He stuttered.
“Yeah, I think it would be good.”
“What makes you say that?” Jared adjusted on the couch to face her.
“She gets you.  And she understands me.”
“Oh yeah?” He raised a brow.
“Yeah.  She isn’t mean or trying to take Mom’s place.  She listens to me, and she even told me that she didn’t like school either.”
“Oh, really?”
‘Yep.  So are you going to ask her?”
“To what? Marry me?” Jared asked, flabbergasted at his daughter’s interest.
“Yeah, Dad.” YN tilted her head.
“I want to.  Not yet though.  You guys need to bond and connect more.  It’s not fair for you to know her for a few months and then she just be around all the time.”
“Oh.” YN sighed.
“Are you okay?” Jared noted the blank expression on her face.
“Yup, I think so.  But I think you should ask her.”
“I will do my best, pretty girl,”
The duo hugged and leaned back on the couch and YN played the TV show.
“She better not hurt you, or she will have to answer to me, just so you know.” YN smirked.

A year had gone by, and it went quickly.  You were helping Gen plan her wedding, improving your career, and growing your new, yet old relationship with Jensen.  He stayed another week and pushed off starting filming as long as he could.  He wanted to prove to you that he meant what he said but eventually you had to kick him out saying that he couldn’t put everything on hold for you though you were flattered that he would have.  You both traveled back and forth as much as you could, though it wasn’t often but you could call, text, and facetime.  This time around you had a better foundation that wasn’t built on a bubble and you both had matured a lot.  Gen was so happy for you and you both talked in great detail about this new development. It was fun to be able to giggle like a schoolgirl in love again.
The year went quickly with that, and you didn’t have James anymore, as he moved to Houston to be closer to Dee.  They had started their own relationship and they were doing well from what it seemed, though no one kept in real contact with them anymore.  But that was okay, you had Jensen.  After spending all your free time to help Gen with the wedding, you went over to Mama Ackles a few times per her insistence.  She was elated that you and her “idiot son” finally got back together.  It was “about time”;  You didn’t disagree.  On one of these Saturday mornings you had spent with her out on the porch, she had asked when you and Jensen were going to tie the knot.
“I don’t know about that, we still need to figure out how we are doing long distance.”  You told her.
“You told me four years ago that you wanted to marry my son.”  She insisted.
“And nothing has changed.  But we fu- screwed up last time and I don’t want anything to ruin what we have now.”
“Sweetie, you both would die for each other.  You are making the distance work and though it is hard, you have a solid foundation and neither is going anywhere.”  She told you.  “The only thing stopping either of you is that you are scared.  I don’t know why you are anyway, seeing as how much you love each other.”
“You are right as always Mama.  There is no reason to be scared.  I have made peace with what happened and I guess I am only nervous because with all this wedding planning, ironically we haven’t talked about weddings at all.”  You told her.
“You know Jensen wants to marry you.  You just need to grow your own pair and talk it out.”  She told you frankly.  You loved how she was so bold when you needed her to be.  You walked into the house with a smile on your face and when you walked into the kitchen you almost dropped your mug.
“Careful love, we don’t want that glass flying everywhere”  Jensen smirked at you.
“Jensen!”  You practically squealed as you rushed into his arms after setting down the mug carefully.  “What are you doing here?  You aren’t supposed to be here for another week!”
“If you would stop squeezing me so hard, maybe I could tell you.”  Always the sarcastic one.
“Whatever, I don’t even care”  Two could play that game.  As you turned to leave, he twisted you around planting a firm kiss on your lips.  It was a good thing he was holding on so tightly otherwise you would have been knocked to the floor.  You loved that he still made you so weak in the knees, as cliche as it was.
“Don’t hold out on that lovin’ I won’t make it”  He told you with seriousness but love in his voice.
“What are you doing here, Jens?”
“I wanted to surprise you.”  He said with a smile.
“It’s a good surprise.  Maybe we can actually spend time together since Gen has every minute planned up until they say ‘I do’.”  He leaned in and whispered in your ear.
“I know exactly what we can do.”  He nibbled on your ear a little and you turned beet red.  Normally you wouldn’t have minded but with his parents in the room, you didn’t exactly want them to know your “plans”.
“Oh you kids, get out of here”  Mama said.  “I barely was able to keep the surprise.  Jensen, take this girl out.”  She hugged him then shooed him out of the house.
“Guess she wants us to have a good time.”  He wiggled his eyebrows at you causing you to roll your eyes.
“At least buy me dinner first.”  You teased.  He grabbed your hand and kissed it as you walked towards his truck.
“Yes Ma’am.”
The week went by quickly and you got to spend a lot of quality time together that you needed.  Now it was time to help with last minute wedding stuff.  Jared wanted to have it in Dallas so his, hers, and Jensen’s parents wouldn’t have to travel too far.  They also had a house nearby that they bought recently and they wanted to be able to ‘play house’ before he would have to go back to Vancouver to film.   The whole cast was flying in and you were excited to meet some of the new members that you had only seen through facetime with Jensen.  Though you were excited, he didn’t seem to like the fact that he would have to share you.  You liked when he would get possessive but you also reminded him that you ‘could do what you damn well wanted and he would just have to be okay with that’.  He agreed but he made it known he would do the same, and by the same, he made up for all the lost time you had to spend apart…
“Oh there you are, where have you been?”  Gen frantically said as you entered the building where they were decorating for the reception.
“Gen, I am fifteen minutes early. Take a deep breath, nothing is going to happen.  Everything is perfect.”  You told her.  After a few breaths she seemed to calm down.
“I just want everything to go well.”  She told you.
“And it will.  Besides, the wedding isn’t even the best part.  The marriage is the best part where you get to spend the rest of your lives together.  You and Jared are a real life fairy tale.”  And you weren’t wrong.
After spending a few hours helping to set up and helping Gen in any way you could, as you were finishing a table setting, you felt strong arms wrap around your waist.  You smiled and rested your head against the strong shoulder.
“Hi Y/N”  He whispered into your hair.
“Hi baby.  You better let go before my boyfriend shows up”  You teased.  He only tightened his hold on you.
“Oh sweetheart, I could take him any day.  Besides, I want to show everyone you’re mine.”  You turned around and put your hands around his strong shoulders.
“I don’t think he would like that very much.”  You said, pretending to be serious.
“I don’t care what he wants.”  With that his mouth was on yours, capturing your lips in a sweet yet possessive kiss.  You would have loved to stay there all day but then Jared walked in.
“Hey break it up you guys, this is my weekend.”  He shot Jensen a wink then went to find Gen.
“If you keep kissing me like that, I won’t care what my boyfriend thinks either.”  You smiled seductively up at him.   He smirked then pecked your lips again.  He grabbed your hand then went to where Jared and Gen were.  You liked that he always felt the need to touch you somehow.
“Hey Gen, how are you feeling?  It’s not too late to change your mind.”  Jensen said.
“Hey, dude, I thought you were on my side!”  Jare shoved him in the arm.
“Thanks for the offer but I think I am going to keep this one.”  Gen said with a smile.  Jared leaned down and kissed her sweetly.  You just grabbed Jensen’s arm with your hand and continued to hold his hand as you leaned against his shoulder.
“Alright enough of this, let’s get this rehearsal started.”  Jensen said, pretending to be annoyed, but squeezing your hand tighter.
The rehearsal went off without a hitch and then it was already the big day.  You had gotten up extremely early and had spent the whole day getting ready with the bridal party.  Gen was absolutely glowing and you giggled like school girls about it. You were so happy for your friend.  She deserved this.
“Thank you so much for being my maid of honor Y/N.  I hope you get engaged soon.”  Gen grabbed your hand as best she could since she was in her chair while another bridesmaid was curling her hair.
“I don’t know about that.  Jensen and I talked about it but I don’t think it is in the near future.  We are still figuring out how to navigate the long distance thing.”
“Do you not want him to propose?”  She seemed very concerned.
“Of course I do but I am not getting my hopes up.  When it happens, I will have no doubt in my mind of saying yes but I don’t know if he wants that yet.”  She chuckled.
“Oh Y/N,  he has wanted that since the first day he saw you on set.”  You rolled your eyes and blushed as you remembered that wonderful day so long ago.
All too soon, it was time to line up.  Since Jensen was the best man you would be walking down the aisle together.  You liked that.  When you rounded the corner, you made eye contact with Jensen and his mouth dropped.  You couldn’t help but blush knowing the reason why he was so surprised.
“Wow you look amazing.”  Jensen said, grabbing the hand without flowers in it.
“You clean up pretty good yourself Ackles.”  He kissed your forehead and wrapped your hand in his arm.
“You ready?”
“Just don’t let me fall.”
“Never”  He held you close to his side.  “Just think, it’ll be us next”  You looked up at him.  He showed no signs of hesitation or joking.
“You still have to ask me, Jens”  You looked ahead at the unopened doors.
“Oh trust me, I will.”  You didn’t have time to respond, but you smiled as the doors flew open and he led you to the altar.
The ceremony went amazing and you cried.  The vows were so sweet and you loved seeing Jared choked up with tears as he couldn’t contain his love for Gen.  You looked past him to Jensen and he was smiling looking at you.  The reception was fun as well, food, speeches, dancing.  You had a heartfelt speech to Gen, balancing it with a healthy dose of cringe about her and Jared’s first few months together.  Jensen gave his speech with many jokes about their shenanigans, about how lucky Gen settled for him, etc.  By the time the dancing rolled around, your heart was full.  A few fun dances, and slow dances with Jensen flew by and Gen was going to do her bouquet toss.  You weren’t going to line up on the floor but Jensen urged you to go.  Hesitant to release his hand, you trudged to the floor and somehow got pushed to the front.  Gen gave you a wink and as she turned around to throw it, she turned back around and handed it to you.  You were shocked.  You didn’t know that would happen or why but you just smiled and thanked her.  Before you could hug her, Jensen came out of nowhere and sheepishly smiled at you until he reached you.  He immediately knelt down and your eyes grew wide and a hand shot to your mouth.  The crowd wasn’t silent but you tuned them out as you had zeroed in on Jensen.
“I love you so much Y/N.  You deserve the world and I want to spend the rest of my life proving that to you.  Will you make me the happiest man on earth and marry my sorry ass?”  He had opened the velvet box to show a beautiful ring.  Shiny, full of diamonds, and just what you had wanted.  You could only assume Gen had helped pick it out.
“Yes, yes of course I will marry you!”  You squealed while crying and he got up from his knees to wrap you in the biggest hug.  Everyone cheered and clapped.  You cried as he put the ring on your finger and kissed you like it was the last time.  But you knew it wasn’t the last, but the beginning of forever.

“Fuck you have a perfect ass,” you said as you climbed off Jensen and he rolled over to his stomach. He hissed when you ran a hand over the red cheeks but you quickly returned with a bottle of lotion. You rubbed it into the skin gently, Jensen humming to himself. “Better?”
“Yeah. Bet you won’t even leave a mark,” he said. You laid down in bed beside him, Jensen smiling before you both heard a noise somewhere else in the dark house. You sat up, Jensen out of bed, freezing when the door creaked open.
“Hey, shh,” said Jared. He and Gen were giggling, both of them stopping when they saw you and Jensen there. “I thought you guys got back tomorrow.”
“We caught an earlier flight,” said Jensen, tugging his boxer briefs on and quickly deciding against that. “What are you guys doing in our house?”
“House sitting,” said Gen but you saw the look on her face.
“Do you two fuck in our house when we’re not here?” you asked.
“I mean we have a key. It’s not like we’re really doing anything. We always wash the sheets afterwards too,” said Jared.
“Oh. Awesome,” said Jensen. He turned around and you heard them both giggle.
“Looks like someone was a bad boy,” said Gen. Jensen spun around and pouted, staring at you. “We could...play. We haven’t since the party a few weeks ago.”
“I don’t think Jensen could handle more spanking no offense,” you said.
“What she said.”
“Oh he doesn’t need one. We could simply instruct?” said Jared.
“I thought you two wanted to have sex,” you said.
“Yeah. Why don’t we tell you two what to do,” said Jensen.
“Alright,” shrugged Gen. “Baby?”
“I’m good,” said Jared.
“Do I have to get out of bed for this?” you asked.
“I’m not gonna make ‘em fuck on the floor, Y/N,” said Jensen.
“You guys are nailing this dom thing,” said Jared with a smirk. Gen giggled and you got up from bed, tossing on Jensen’s shirt. Jared narrowed his eyes and you cocked your head. “I’m waiting.”
“Take-”
“I was referring to Jensen,” he said. “He’s the one that brought it up after all.”
Jensen opened his mouth but Jared just laughed.
“Gen spank him. Ten,” you said. “Clothes off. The longer you wait the more I add.”
Jared grumbled as he took off his clothes, Gen smiling to herself.
“You too,” said Jensen. “You get five of your own for Jared being a little shit.”
She smacked his arm and undressed, Jared turning around and letting Gen go to town on him.
“Go to the guest room. Screw however you want but nobody comes, got it?” said Jensen. A moment later you and Jensen were alone, Jensen wearing a big smirk.
“What do you got in mind?”
“Well, I figured by the time we get off again, they’ll be both be begging for it,” he said.
“You sure they’ll listen?”
“They’ll listen,” he said. “They aren’t as troublesome as us.”
“Definitely not,” you said, smacking his ass. He yelped and rubbed it, frowning at you. “Whoops.”
“Just for that, I’m not going to spank you with my hand,” he said.
“Oh fuck.”
“Come on,” said Jensen thirty minutes later. Your ass was sore and you’d long since discarded his shirt. He dug into your pink cheeks with one hand, the other rubbing his palm flat against your clit roughly while you rode him. “Wanna come in you. Milk my cock, come on sweetheart.”
“Fuck, fuck, fuck!” you shouted, gripping him tight, squeezing his throbbing cock as you came. You pushed yourself through it, fucking down onto him while he kept rubbing and rubbing you straight into a second orgasm.
You whimpered as you stopped and rolled off of him, Jensen kissing you slowly.
“Good girl,” he said. He stroked your cheek and nuzzled you, gently running a finger up and down your back. “Lay on your stomach and I’ll get your ass taken care of.”
“Alright. We better go check on the other two after,” you said. Jensen was gentle in rubbing the lotion into your skin, letting it sink in for a few minutes and cleaning you up before the two of you wandered down the hall.
You pushed open the door to find Jared pushed down on the bed and Gen above him.
“Well what do we have here?” you teased. “Should have figured Gen was the top.”
“Guys,” she said. “Please.”
“Go ahead,” said Jensen. Less than a minute later they were both exhaling deeply, eyes shut and basking in the afterglow of their orgasms. “That was nearly an hour. Good for you two.”
“Here,” you said, setting the lotion down on the nightstand. “It really helps.”
“Thanks,” said Gen.
“Do you guys need anything?” asked Jensen.
“We could get snacks or-” you said before they both giggled.
“We’re okay. It wasn’t that hard. If you wouldn’t mind turning up the heat for us that’d be great,” said Jared. “We’re probably gonna crash here too if that’s cool.”
“Totally. Shout if you need something,” you said.
“Night guys.”
“Morning,” you said as you and Jensen came downstairs to find Jared and Gen making breakfast.
“Sounds like someone had a very good morning,” said Gen.
“Dean Winchester isn’t the only one with an oral fixation,” you said. You smirked as Jensen rolled his eyes, pouring himself a cup of coffee.
“We were wondering if you guys wanted to try playing again tonight?” asked Jared.
“Nothing too extreme and I’m down,” you said.
“We were thinking something softer?” said Gen. “We had fun last night and wanted to return the favor.”
“Sure,” said Jensen. “Sounds like a plan. Maybe we can go out for dinner first.”
“That sounds good,” you said. “I am curious what you guys have in store.”
“Oh, we think you guys will enjoy it. I guarantee it.”

Sam Is Wearing Green Today

Sam Is Wearing Green Today.
Sam’s wearing a green plaid shirt today. It’s distracting. You're supposed to be listening to Dean and the theory of what creature you're hunting. But it's all white noise because Sam is wearing green today.
If you were more poetic, you could have described how it made his kaleidoscope eyes brighter. You could have likened it to a forest of evergreens, alive and fresh, or Autumn nipping at Summer’s nose, tingeing the edges of green leaves with brown. But you can’t find the perfect description because Sam is wearing green today.
Your nose is stuck in a book, but your eyes are locked on Sam. The white noise fades, and his voice comes into focus while he counters Dean’s theory and offers his own. You also have a theory, a mixture of both being correct. But you can’t voice it because Sam is weaning green today.
Dean’s phone rings, and he steps away from the table to answer it. Sam glances over at you, and though you know you’re staring, you're unable to look away. He offers the softest smile as he stands, probably feeling extremely uncomfortable under your watchful eye. But you can’t stop your ogling because Sam is wearing green today.
You follow his movement as he walks to refill his coffee mug, going as far as turning your head to look over your shoulder to keep your gaze trained on him. The shirt looks soft, and you're momentarily jealous that it gets to caress his skin all day. Does it know how lucky it is? You chuckle to yourself at how ridiculous the thought is. But it makes total sense because Sam is wearing green today.
Fresh cup of joe in hand, he turns back around, his eyes immediately landing on you. “Why are you staring at me?” he asks, self-consciousness dusting his cheeks. It was never your intention to make him feel uncomfortable. But you can’t tell him that you can’t take your eyes off him because he’s wearing green today.
You shrug and give an unconvincing lie, “No reason,” even though it’s clearly causing him concern. You make no attempt to stop your peculiar behaviour because Sam is wearing green today.
Sam’s chuckle morphs into a bashful dimpled smile as he approaches you slowly, never taking his eyes off of yours.  “I love you too.” He bends and kisses you, firm but sweet. He lingers against your lips for a long moment before pulling back to focus on you again, “Now I know why you haven’t stolen this shirt.”
He’s right. You left that one because it’s always a treat when Sam is wearing green.

I Know Your Wife (She Wouldn’t Mind) - Part Fifty-Nine
Summary: Austin is hit by a storm and you distract yourself with a Q&A with your followers. Your pregnancy is coming to an end as Jensen, Danneel, and the kids come to visit. Words: 2k + instagram stories Jared x Reader x Gen Warnings: pregnancy, mild angst
I Know Your Wife Masterpost
Tumblr media
When the storm hit, you had to work extra hard not to completely freak out.
You were supposed to be going to your 18 week scan, hopefully finally finding out whether you were having girls or boys seeing as they’d remained stubbornly in the wrong position throughout the 16 week checkup, but obviously you weren’t able to get there due to the road conditions.
A pipe burst in the house, flooding the floor of what was supposed to be the twins’ nursery and caving in some of the ceiling underneath, and both Jared and Gen insisted that you didn’t help with the cleanup so that you didn’t cause yourself any unnecessary stress at that time.
You had no power or internet connection, so you couldn’t stream, or even call your parents to check in, and it was absolutely freezing outside of the house so searching for connection elsewhere was out of the question. The only real positive of the situation was watching the kids and the dogs play in the snow once it was safe to go outside.
Almost as swiftly as the storm arrived and caused havoc, it was over. The sun came out, the snow melted away and, apart from the future nursery’s water damage, everything went back to normal.
When you eventually got back from your rearranged scan, you decided to hold a little Instagram stories Q&A as you’d been MIA during the whole storm.
You wanted to get back in touch with your followers, especially seeing as Gen was so active and, frankly, making you look bad.
Tumblr media
You posted the ‘Ask me anything’ to your story and were shocked at how fast questions started coming in. You found a show to watch in the background while everybody was out before properly settling in to answer some questions.

By the time you'd answered most of the more frequently asked questions, everyone else had returned from their walk.
Bailey was clearly exhausted, walking straight over to you in the living room and flopping down at your feet.
"Did they wear you out, baby?" you asked, scratching between her ears. "You'd always be home with me if you had the choice, huh?"
“She had fun,” Tom told you, coming to sit beside you.
You put your arm over his shoulders, pulling him closer to you.
“Did you?” you asked him.
“Yeah,” he confirmed, leaning against you. “Did you have a good afternoon?”
“I’ve been super lazy,” you admitted, earning a laugh from Genevieve as she walked in.
She leaned in to kiss the top of your head before sitting down on the other end of the couch.
“You’ve got babies to grow, you’re doing your best,” she reminded you.
“I’ve been watching Glee and posting on instagram,” you deadpanned, earning another laugh which made you crack into a smile.
Dallas came in at a run, giggling as Shep chased behind her, Jared following with an exasperated smile.
“Thanks,” you told him as he handed you a lemonade.
You took a sip, offering some to Tom before resting it down.
“No worries,” he told you, picking up the remote control as he sat down.
He stopped the box set and put on a movie that the kids would enjoy, the six of you settling in to watch in a comfortable silence.
*****
Everything continued as normal.
Your time was split between parenting, dog-walking, and streaming - your viewership still growing steadily. You were still in contact with the game production team, spending a few days in the studio to record your sound between scans and all of your other commitments.
By June 30th you were officially the most pregnant you had ever been, and you could absolutely feel it. Your date schedule had stayed in place up until you hit 35 weeks in your pregnancy, your body too tired for any other activities while carrying two healthy babies.
Getting out of bed was a struggle, your belly was so heavy and stretched tight. Your back and boobs had been aching for what felt like months now, and by this point you realised you couldn’t focus on anything for an extended period of time. You sent out a tweet to your followers, joking about going on maternity leave as you couldn’t sit and stream for hours on end anymore.
All of your scans had been positive, and you’d been talking about names for the past couple of weeks. After Dallas came early, you tried to get that conversation going earlier on than in your last pregnancy, which was reassuring as you entered the last few weeks as you felt like you could bond with your babies a bit easier, using the names you’d shortlisted.
You were sat in the nursery which had been complete a few months now, in the same rocking chair that you had in Dallas’ nursery in Vancouver, while you called your parents for your regularly scheduled catch up.
“I’d stand up and show off the bump but honestly I’d rather die,” you jibed, and Danneel laughed while Jensen rolled his eyes,
“I remember that feeling,” Danneel sympathised.
“We’ll be down in a couple days anyway,” Jensen reminded you, and you smiled.
“I can’t believe you’ve nearly been my parents for four years,” you mused, knowing they were coming down to celebrate your adoption anniversary.
“I’ve been your dad for nearly five if we’re honest,” Jensen commented.
“I meant officially,” you laughed, “but you’re right. I can’t wait to see you guys, it’s been too long.”
“I kinda thought the twins would be born by the time we got down,” Danneel admitted. “I was hoping I’d get snuggles.”
You matched her wistful smile.
“We’ll be down for a week,” your father reminded both of you. “A lot can happen in a week.”
“That’s true,” you agreed. “When I found out I was pregnant, I was hoping to go full 40 this time, but now we’re over 37 weeks and I’m just about ready to actually burst.”
You sighed, running a hand over your bump.
“Not to sound uncharacteristically optimistic, but I think I’m ready for them to come now.”
“I for one would not complain if I got to have grandpa cuddles on our trip down,” Jensen chimed in. “And I’m sure JJ and our twins would be pumped to meet them.”
“We’ll see,” you smiled. “If they’re as stubborn and contrary as me, they’ll probably stay in for weeks now that I’ve admitted I’m ready.”
They smiled fondly, and you bit your lip as you considered your next words.
“I know it’s late, but-”
“She’s still up,” Danneel told you before you could even finish your thought. “We put her to bed but made the error of telling her we were about to call you.”
“I’ll get her,” Jensen told you, getting to his feet to go and retrieve your sister.
“She asks about you every day, you know?” Danneel told you. “Always asking about Dallas and the babies, too.”
Your heart fluttered at her words.
“It’s been so weird doing it all without you guys around,” you admitted. “Jared and Gen have been great, it’s just so different from last time.”
She smiled sadly.
“Two days, sweetie,” she reminded you. “We’ll all be reunited again. You can show off the cute new nursery in person.”
You nodded, grinning as you heard Jensen and JJ coming down the stairs.
“I can’t wait.”
*****
“Are you sure you’re good to drive?” Gen asked as you grabbed your keys on Friday afternoon.
“I’m good,” you promised, pressing a quick kiss to her cheek as Jared picked up his keys as well. “There’s five of them to pick up, plus their luggage. Two cars makes sense.”
“I don’t think she’ll spend another second sat here when she knows they’re in the city,” Jared reasoned, bending down to help Dallas into her shoes. “Neither of them will.”
“We’re seein’ Grandpa,” Dallas told him proudly, getting to her feet and taking your hand.
“Yeah we are,” you smiled, looking back at an unconvinced Genevieve. “Babe, I’m fine. If my water breaks I’ll already be in the car anyway, easier to get to the hospital.”
Her mouth dropped open in shock and Jared ushered you and your daughter out of the door before she could stop you.
“She’s kidding,” he told his wife, wrapping his arms around her as you and Dallas got into your car. “We’ll be fine. Just picking them up from the airport, we’ll be right back.”
“Make sure she doesn’t do anything stupid,” Gen murmured, pulling him down for a kiss. “No lifting things.”
“She can barely put her clothes on herself, she’s not lifting anything,” he promised, pulling back and stepping outside. “We’ll see you soon.”
*****
You rubbed at the small of your back as you waited at the arrivals gate, Jared with Dallas on his shoulders as you scanned the crowd for your parents and siblings.
“Do you want to go and sit?” Jared asked, looking down at you in concern.
You shook your head, breathing carefully as you stretched your back out.
“I can sit when we get home,” you reminded him. “I’ve missed them, can’t wait another second longer than I need to.”
He huffed a small laugh, and you looked up at him, wrapping an arm around his waist.
“I appreciate you doing this, you told him, quiet enough that your daughter wouldn’t hear. “After everything with The Winchesters-”
“They’re your parents,” he replied, meeting your gaze. “It hurt but I can’t hold a grudge, not when they’re such a big part of your life, of our daughter’s life.”
You pressed a kiss to his shoulder, grateful that he was able to consider it water under the bridge for the benefit of you and Dallas. It had come as a surprise to both of you when Jensen had made the post earlier that week, and Jared had taken it considerably harder than you had, but knowing how important your relationship with your parents was to you, he’d been able to push it to the side.
“Grandpa!”
Dallas’ shout and light tug on Jared’s hair grabbed both of your attention, and you looked over to see your family making their way through the crowd.
Dallas scrambled to get down and Jared laughed as he helped her, putting her down in front of him but holding her shoulders so she didn’t run off until they got closer.
Jensen broke out into a little jog and Jared let her run to him, both of you watching with fond smiles as he picked your daughter up under her arms and span her around.
“Surprised you’re not running too,” Jared joked, and you looked down at your bump.
“I would be if these guys weren’t in the way,” you grumbled, grinning as JJ came running up to you.
“Don’t pick me up,” she reminded you as she wrapped her arms around you, and you laughed as you held her against you.
“You’re getting too big anyway,” you told her, smiling at Danneel as she finally reached you with the twins and bags in tow.
“I thought you were joking when you said you’re ready to burst,” she told you, letting the twins run to you as she hugged Jared. “Good to see you.”
Jared smiled as he hugged back before crouching to greet the kids as Jensen came over with Dallas on his hip.
“Nonna,” Dallas giggled, reaching for Danneel.
“Hey baby girl,” she smiled, taking her from her husband so he could give you a hug.
You hugged him tight - well, as tight as you could with two babies in the way.
“Let’s get you home, we can catch up there,” he told you, picking up his bags.
Jared grabbed Danneel’s bag and you and Danneel took two kids each as you made your way back out to the cars.
“I’ve missed you,” JJ admitted, squeezing your hand.
You squeezed back before letting go to find your keys in your pocket.
“It’s been too long,” you agreed, unlocking your car and helping Zep into his car seat. “I hope we never have to leave it this long again.”

The Lunch
Summary: You have lunch with the Padalecki’s…
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You walked out of the courthouse at 3:14. You waved to your lawyer before walking in the direction of where your car was parked. You were almost there when you felt your phone ringing. You fished it out your bag, answering without looking at the caller ID. “Hello? This is Y/N.”
You were slightly surprised to hear a familiar voice. “Hi, its Gen.”
“Oh, hi, Gen. Sorry, I didn’t look to see who was calling.”
She laughed. “No worries. We wanted to know if you still wanted to do lunch.”
You opened your car door and threw your bag in the passenger seat before climbing in. “Yeah. That would be great.”
“Great.” There was a slight shuffle and quick whispering. “There’s a diner/bar on Levington Street I’ve heard about.”
“I know exactly what you’re talking about.”
“Really?” she asked in a way, that it made think about how adorable she was.
“Yeah, do you want me to meet you there?” you questioned.
“Perfect. We’ll be there in about 20 minutes.”
“Great, see you then.” You heard her return the sentiment before you hung up. You started your car before driving off.
You walker in the diner about 15 minutes later. You took a look around, noticing you got there before Jared and Gen before you walked up to the bar. “Hey, JJ.”
The blond bartender looked up when she heard you voice. “Well, hello Miss Lady. It’s been a minute since we’ve seen you in here.”
You groaned as held yourself up. “Yeah. Sorry I’ve been focused on this case. And I didn’t want them to find a reason as to why I shouldn’t win.”
There was a look of realization on her face. “Wait! Did you win?” she asked, excitedly. She laughed and clapped when you nodded with a big smile. “Oh my god. That’s awesome Y/N.”
“Thanks. It’s feels great. And I haven’t told you the best part.”
“What?”
“For my troubles and the fact that I didn’t deserve this, they have to write me a check for 3.7 million dollars, they have to increase pay from 3,000 a month to 4,500 AND I got the promotion.” You had been waiting to tell someone what happened in court today and JJ was the first person you saw.
“Oh, that’s so amazing hun. You deserve it.” She placed er hand on yours that was on the bar and squeezed.
“Thanks. For the support and everything.” You placed you hand on top of her before you pulled her into a hug.
You let go in time for the door to open and looked over to see Genevieve and Jared to step walk in. “Oh, there’s who I’m waiting for. Is Ryan in?”
“Yeah, I’ll send him over in a minute.”
You whispered thanks as she walked off. “Hey guys.” You stood up and hugged Gen before hugging Jared.
“Well, you weren’t wearing this when we saw you earlier.” Gen said as she looked at your outfit. “This is a cute outfit.”
You ran your hands over your clothes. “Thank you. You two look cute as well.”
“Thanks,” Jared said, posing playfully. You laughed as you reached your table.
“Have a seat.” Genevieve slid in the booth first, followed by her husband and you at on the other side of the table.
“No, but seriously. You look like you just came from court.” Jared smiled at you.
You smiled and laughed slightly. “I did.”
Before they could respond, Ryan came up to the table with the biggest grin on his face. “Hola, linda señora. Lo escuché. ¡Estoy muy orgulloso de ti!”
You smiled at his excitement. “Gracias. Ryan these are my friends. Jared and Genevieve. Guys, this is Ryan.”
He smiled, somewhat nervously. “Hola. Nice to meet you.”
“Nice to meet you too, Ryan.”
You leaned forward a little. “Ryan owns the place.”
Genevieve smiled and looked around. “This place is great. It’s such a good vibe.”
“Thanks,” Ryan said, smiling gratefully as he put down the menus. “I’ll come back for your orders.” He left, squeezing your shoulder.
You spent the next 2 hours talking with the Padalecki’s. It felt so natural and peaceful. You learned some stuff about their kids, and you told them about yourself. They learned about your family, your friends, your job. Any and everything you felt like telling them. You told jokes, laughed, overall had fun.
It was towards the end when you told them about why you were in court.
You had been working for your company for almost 9 years. You started off as an assistant before you worked your way up to the manager position. About 2 months ago, your boss came into your office one night and told you about a promotion. It was only you and one other person being seriously considered for the position. It was supposed to be less hours, more pay, more paid vacations, and more serious responsibilities. It was the promotion you worked your ass off for. Then came the bad part. Your boss told you he would make sure you got the promotion only if you slept with him. You immediately told him no and left. The next day, when you came into work, he fired you. You tried telling his boss but he took his side because that was his son. The company tried to keep you quiet when they heard you were thinking about suing them. They had people following you threatening you for a week and a half. You collected as much evidence as you could; security cameras, recorded phone calls, threatening voicemails, the works. You filed a lawsuit on the company and after 6 weeks, you got what you deserved. They had to write you a check for 3.7 million dollars, increased pay from 3,000 a month to 4,500 AND I got the promotion. Everyone involved in the scandal had to do 700 hours of community service and can no longer be allowed with 200 feet of you.
Jared and Genevieve sat in shocked silence for about 40 seconds before Gen reached across the table towards you and held your hand. “I’m so sorry that happened to you.”
You waved her off with your free hand. “You don’t have to apologize. You didn't have anything to do with it.”
“Still.” Jared said, snapping out his stupor. “We complain because we’re going to be 5 minutes late to a brunch and other people have more serious problems.”
“At least, you got what you deserved.” Gen said, finally let go off your hand. You frowned slightly, missing the warmth of her hand. Your frown didn’t go unnoticed by Gen nor Jared, they looked at each other with questioning looks.
“Thanks.” You looked at your watch, slightly surprised to see t was almost 6:00. “Damn, we were here for a long time.”
Jared looked at the time on the phone. “Oh, yeah. We gotta pick up the kids at Jensen’s.”
Ryan walked up to the table at the time. “Here’s the check.”
You grabbed the folder before Jared could. “Gotta be faster than that Padalecki,” you teased when you saw their frown. You placed the card in the folder and handed it back to Ryan so you could pay.
“Y/N.” Jared looked like he was scolding you but you knew it was playfully. “We asked you out, we should’ve paid.”
“Oh, come on. I have so much extra money now. I wanted to pay,” you pouted.
Gen had a smile she tried so hard to hide. “We’ll pay next time.”
You titled your head, shrugging slightly. “Maybe.” You left a $50 tip on the table before grabbing your stuff and walking out. Not before waving bye to Ryan and JJ.
“The food was great.” Jared said as you began walking to the parking area.
Gen nodded, agreeing with her husband. “It really was.”
“Soul food. The greatest kind of food. Makes me wanna make some this weekend.”
“You cook?” Jared asked.
“That I do. It’s kind of a hobby.” You smiled at his impressed smile.
“Hey, do you have plans Sunday?” Gen asked as you made it to your cars, which were parked near each other.
“Um, no. why?”
“There’s a game on then. You wanna come over and watch?” Jared seemed, slightly nervous as he asked you.
“I’ll see you Saturday.” You smiled when he and Genevieve smiled brightly. “I’ll bring some food. Is anybody allergic to anything?”
“Um, not that I can think of. But I’ll ask and let you know.”
“Thanks.” You hugged them once again before getting in your car and driving home.
And as soon you got home, you took a shower, got some snacks and laid in bed, rewatching Supernatural. What a great end to a great day.

Y/N POV
That night when you got home, you took a shower and got into a pair of sweatpants and an oversized T-shirt.  You poured yourself a glass of wine and sat down at the island to think about what had happened.  You hadn’t fully processed the events of the day but you tried.  You decided that before you could figure out what you wanted from Jensen, if anything, you knew that you needed to talk to James.  He must have thought the same thing because a knock on the door drew you from your thoughts.
“I was just thinking about you”  You smiled letting him in.
“How was your day at the pool?”  He asked without any tone of judgment.  It was new and welcomed.
“I really enjoyed seeing Gen and Jared but honestly I am not sure about seeing Jensen”  You decided to be honest.
“I am not surprised.  It’s been a lot for you”  He sympathized.
“Not that I want to start anything but it’s nice not having you have a judging tone about it.”  He just shrugged.
“What did you do today?”  You didn’t know how to continue because last time he talked to you he said he didn’t want to see you.
“I went to town for something to do….and I ran into Daneel”  He looked you in the eye as he sat down.
“Oh”  was all you could say as you turned your back to pour him a glass of wine.
“That’s all you have to say?” He said cautiously.
“What happened?” You handed him the glass to which he took a sip.
“We got to talking and ended up spending the day together.”  You stopped.
“How was that?”  You cautioned.  You knew him well enough to know what was happening but you wanted to hear him say it.
“Honestly it was really good.  It felt nice to have a conversation with a woman that doesn’t turn into a fight somehow.”  This stung, but you didn’t think he meant it to.
“I can understand that.  I am really sick of it, James.”  You were being honest.  He just sighed.  “You seemed to really hit it off with her.  She is an amazing woman”  You said.
“She is.  I genuinely enjoy her”  He was being transparent and you appreciated that.
“Did you come over here to tell me that you like her James?”  You were just going to rip off the band-aid and just get it done.
“No, I wanted to actually talk about us.”
“Same difference.  You like her and we are not doing well.”  He sighed and rubbed his face.
“We have never quite clicked, Y/N.  We have tried really hard and as much as I wanted to make it work, it just isn’t.  I can’t keep doing this.”
“I can’t either.  I wanted to, I really did.  But we just only work if we don’t talk about anything deep or of meaning.  We are better as friends.”  He didn’t say anything.  “James”  You grabbed his hand across from you.  He let you and looked up.  “Are we done?”
“Yes, we are.  But honestly we never really ever were”  He gave you a sad smile.  He had a point.
“Just answer one thing.  Do you like Daneel?”  You weren’t bitter but you wanted to know what his intentions were with a woman who was taken.  You knew James was classy and would never cross a line but if it was serious he would be a man about it.
“I would be lying to say I wasn’t attracted to her, but as long as she is with Jensen it doesn’t matter. Besides, I am good at waiting”  He gave you a smile in reference to your own relationship.
“Then I am happy for you and wish you the best”  You smiled back.  He got up and gave you a kiss on the top of your head.
“Take care of yourself Y/N.  We are friends and I will always be here for you.”  You told him something similar and he walked out of your door and in one sense, out of your life.
Your phone rang not long after and it was Gen.
“Hi Gen”
“You sound tired, what’s going on?”  You couldn’t hide anything from her.  After three years of almost not talking she could still read you like a book and you loved her for it.
“James and I just broke up.”  You didn’t want to cry and you were sad, but also it felt good.  You and her talked for a long time about it to end up saying that it was for the best and she was proud of you for doing what you thought was best and she agreed that though James is a wonderful man, he isn’t the right one for you.
“I am just glad that stress is over.  I think we can still work together and be friends but maybe not very soon.”  You told her.
“Speaking of that, Jared invited James out tomorrow.  I guess he has this big dinner planned with a lot of friends and family for the weekend.  He wanted to do something special while a lot of people are in town so he invited him.  Are you okay with that?”
“Yeah, James is a good guy and he has been a good friend to you both so I am okay, at least there will be a lot of people so I don’t necessarily have to talk to him at least the whole time.”  You didn’t tell her about his time with Daneel because you didn’t think it was your business anymore (What is your business? It was all so complicated) so if she decided to tell Gen it was up to her.
“You can always talk to me.  I would ditch Jared anytime for you.  You’re my number one always”  You exchanged gushing affections for another minute then said bye.  It was always good to talk to her.
You slept well that night which had been the first night in a while.  You woke up that Saturday feeling refreshed and ready to see everyone.  You had met Jared’s parents once and they were wonderful.  Jared also told you that he was surprising Gen with flying her parents in.  You knew she would be elated and you did your best to not spill the beans.
You took your time to shower, do your hair and makeup and pick out an outfit.  You settled on curling your hair, and a pretty summer dress and wedges.  You were determined to enjoy your night and not be depressed about recent events.
You texted Gen you were on your way and she was excited because she was there already.  When you pulled up you didn’t realize that the restaurant was as fancy as it was.  You looked it up online and knew it had to be nice since it had valet but you were still surprised.  You weren’t used to such fancy places but you enjoyed them a lot, but you were more of a burger and fries gal.  You walked in the door and though you were a little early, a few people had already been there.  Before you could recognize everyone, Gen came up to you and gave a big hug and dragged you to the center of the party room.  She told you how Jared had surprised her by bringing out her family and you wouldn’t tell her you had your suspicions why he would do that.  You greeted them and socialized for a minute or two when you saw James walk in.  You nodded at each other and he found some people he evidently knew that he went over to talk to.
“Jared arranged this all by himself, he is amazing.”  Gen gushed.  You could see the love in her eyes and you wondered if you would ever find that again.  He was blushing but you knew he was loving every minute of her bragging on him.  You were enjoying the moment and so happy for them that you missed when Dee came up behind you.  She said hello and after a minute pulled you aside.
“How are you Y/N?  I didn’t get a chance to see you yesterday” She apologized.
“I was surprised you weren’t there but I understand why you weren’t, honestly.  Broken arms are no fun, I broke mine as a kid and was devastated that I couldn’t climb any trees.”  You both chuckled.
“I just wanted to let you know that James and I spent the day together.  Nothing happened of course and I am sure he told you but I wanted you to hear it from me.”  Damn you wanted to hate her sometimes but she is just so nice and considerate.
“James did tell me but I appreciate you being honest with me.  I don’t mind, I never would have assumed anything untoward happened.  But I have to ask and please forgive me but are you attracted to him?”  She seemed taken aback and initially wanted to defend herself but she stopped.  She looked over your shoulder behind you then looked you in the eye.
“We had a good time and we have a lot in common.  Of course I care about Jensen and he is my boyfriend but I did enjoy spending time with James.”
“I don’t doubt that you care about Jensen and if you care about James I am not upset.  I will be honest with you, James and I broke up last night.  We are good and I am not trying to sound like a jealous ex but for both your sakes you need to be honest with yourselves.  I haven’t been good at that lately and I want you to save yourself time and learn from my own issues.”  You babbled.  You knew it didn’t come out the best but you wanted to save her three years of her life.
“Thank you Y/N I appreciate that.  I am sorry about that but I am glad you seem okay.  He didn’t say much about your relationship so I don’t know much from him, not that I need to but just so you are aware he is respecting you.  I will always care for Jensen but as I am sure you know, he is head over heels for you and I could never compete.  You are a wonderful person and I see why I am no threat to you -”   Just then Jensen came up and said hello.  You wanted to hear what she was going to say because as horrible as it made you feel you were thinking she was going to back down even though you knew it probably wouldn’t work between you and him.  It didn’t before, what would change?
“Hi Jensen, how are you?”  You asked though you weren’t necessarily curious for the answer.  He gave you some socially acceptable answer and you three chit chatted for a bit.  He then went to pay his respects to Jared and Gen.
“Listen Y/N, I won’t take up more of your time but I appreciate that you are looking out for me.  I hope you have a good rest of the evening.”  She smiled and went to a different group of people to socialize with.  You noticed she didn’t join Jensen.
The evening went on with laughs and good times, until Jared called everyone to his attention.  Somehow you managed to stand somewhat across from Jensen.
“Thank you all for coming, it means so much to us that you are here”  He then put his arm around Gen who was standing next to him. She nodded in agreement.  “You all are our closest and favorite people so I wanted you all to be here because I know it means so much to Gen and me.”  He started to get nervous and he let out a nervous breath.  Gen was confused but her eyes grew wide when he let go of her to pull something out of his pocket.  He got down on one knee and she gasped.
“Gen, baby, you are the most amazing woman I have ever met in my entire life.  You are so kind, loving, nurturing, and you know how to push me and keep me on my toes.  I want to spend the rest of my life showing you that I love you and will continue to love you more every day.  I know I don’t deserve you but is there any chance that you will make the happiest man in the world by marrying me?”  He opened the box to reveal a huge square rock with studded diamonds along the side.  If her mouth could open more it did now.  The room was silent and you couldn’t believe what was happening.  That jerk wouldn’t tell you his plan no matter how much you pushed.  To be fair you knew it was because he didn’t want you to let it slip to her so you were kept in the dark. You held your breath and knew everyone else was as well.
“Oh Jared”,  Gen said, speechless.  After looking into his eyes for a solid second or two, she put him out of his misery.  “Yes, of course I will marry you!”  She practically squealed as tears started to fall.  He got up so fast you almost didn’t see it and he wrapped her in his arms and picked her off the floor.  They hugged, and kissed, and hugged some more.  Somewhere in there he put the ring on her finger and she was just glowing. The room had erupted in clapping, cheers and all sorts of hoots and hollers.  You couldn’t help but look over at Jensen who was looking at you and smiled.  It almost seemed like a sad smile but you didn’t dwell too long because you fought your way to the couple.
“Jared, I can't believe you didn’t tell me!”  He looked at you guilty.
“I didn’t want you to ruin the surprise”
“Well it’s about time, I can’t be mad now that you finally did it.”
“It was long overdue.”  Gen just leaned into his side, still smiling.  You knew her mouth would hurt from all the smiling but well worth it.
“Let me see the ring!”  You squealed, grabbing her hand.
“I didn’t see it coming!  We have been talking about it for awhile but I had no idea!  He definitely surprised me”  Gen gushed.
“I had some help from Jensen.  He helped organize arrivals and reservations.”
“This was the perfect proposal.”  Gen said, pulling him down to kiss her.
“I will catch up with you later!”  You told them so others could wish them well.  You needed to get some air and process that your best friend just got engaged to the best guy.  The restaurant had a nice balcony with ambiance lighting and you were able to lean over the side and take a deep breath.  You were glad to be the only one out there until a familiar body leaned over the edge near you.
“I can’t believe he pulled it off.”  Jensen chuckled, taking a sip from his whiskey glass.
“Honestly, me too.  He didn’t let on about it at all, but to be fair I have always suspected it whenever we get together because he knows I would give him hell if I wasn’t there.”  You laughed mostly to yourself.
“He debated telling you or incorporating you somehow, but it was pretty hard since you weren’t around for most of it.”
“I can’t be mad, I haven’t seen them as much as I should.”  You felt guilty for your lack of effort.
“It’s not all your fault, you live so far away from them for most of the year”  You appreciated Jensen trying to make you out to be better than you were.
“I am just glad it finally happened.  I wondered if it would happen within the first six months of them dating.  But they have taken everything agonizingly slow.  They probably won’t have kids for ten years.”  You mused as you remembered how it was like pulling teeth to even get them to admit their feelings, much less date.
“They both want kids, so maybe more like five.”  He joked.
“I am just thankful to be part of it.  Hopefully Gen will let me be part of her wedding planning.  I would love to do that with her”
“I am sure she would love that.  I know it has meant so much to both of them to see you again.”
“I should have tried more to see them, but…”
“But I was in the way.”  Jensen finished for you.  You wanted to say something kind but he was right.
“But we are all here now.”
“The question is, what do we do?”  He turned toward you, and you turned to face him.
“We be supportive of our friends”  You told him.
“That’s not what I meant.”  He said.  You sighed.
“I already told you where I am at.”  You told him.
“I can’t help but notice you haven’t said two words to James all night.”
“We broke up.  Yesterday”  He looked surprised.
“Can I ask why?”  He cautioned.
“Do you really have to ask?  We were never a good fit and we tried to make something work that just wasn’t meant to be.”
“I understand what that is like…” he said quietly.  You remained silent to see if he would continue.  He took another swig from his glass.  “I want what is best for you, and if being with him is it, then so be it.”  He finished.
“I just told you, he isn’t.”  You stood firm.
“Then what is?”  He asked, looking you in the eye.
“Figure it out, it isn’t hard.  Just grow a pair and stop dicking around and you might just realize what is best for both of us.”  You were agitated at his lack of effort and ability to take control.  You knew this wasn’t like him, even if he was just trying to be mindful of your needs.  But why couldn’t the idiot just figure out that no matter how much he broke your heart, you would always want to be with him?  You walked away and made up your mind that you wouldn’t talk to him again until he decided to wake up.
You stayed until the bitter end, and still ended up talking with Gen for hours after the party.  It was around 2am when she went home, most likely to Jared.  You appreciated that she spent more time talking to you than she did to her own fiance.  But what else would you expect from a best friend?

Jensen hasn’t even been back for more than a week and he’s already having a barbecue at his cabin in the mountains. He rents the place out every summer and invites everyone he knows to stay with him for the weekend. The place is big enough to house two dozen people and Jensen knows a lot of people. It’s been a few months since Jensen has been home since he’s traveling with his new girlfriend. You haven’t met her yet but you have talked to Jensen about her. He seems to be crazy about her so you’re not going to ruin what they have.
Yes, you have a crush on him. Yes, you love him. Yes, you’d do anything to make him happy. Yes, he is your best friend. No, you won’t do anything about it because he seems to be happy. What kind of friend would you be if you took that away from him?
Once you finish getting ready into a summer flowy dress, you grab the food you cooked and pile into your car. The cabin is located in the mountains up north so it takes you an hour to get there. There are already a bunch of people there but you don’t mind being later than everyone else. You pull into the driveway and see Jared’s car indicating that him and his wife are already here.
You let yourself into the house and enter the kitchen to place your food there when you see a young and beautiful woman. She must be Denise, Jensen’s girlfriend. You recognize her from the photos he’s sent you.
“Oh, hi. Denise?”
She looks you up and down as if she’s judging you.
“Yeah. You must be Y/N.”
“It’s nice to meet you,” you smile.
“You have such a cute dress on. Don’t let the drinks ruin it.”
It’s the way she says this that makes ou suspicious. She seems a bit passive-aggressive like she doesn't like you. Instead of giving you a chance, she’s already decided that she doesn’t like you. You’re not going to let her ruin your night because you came here for one thing and one thing only.
“I can handle myself. Where is Jensen?”
Speaking of, your best friend walks inside the kitchen using the back door with containers of food in his hands. He looks at you and a big smile breaks out on his face.
“Y/N! You came!” He sets down the food and scoops you into his arms. You don’t miss the way Denise is glaring at you two. “I’ve missed you.”
“I’ve missed you, too.”
“Baby, you promised you’d show me around,” Denise says and pulls her boyfriend away from you. “Remember? You said you’d do it when you got done outside.”
“Yeah, you’re right.” He turns to you. “I’ll be right back. Jared and Gen are outside.”
“Okay,” you nod.
Denise practically drags him away, leaving you all alone. You shake off this bad feeling you’re getting and join the others outside. Jared is talking to some guys off to the side while Gen is heping prep the table for the food. Joshua, Jensen’s brother, is using the grill to make his famous chicken on the other side of the backyard.
“Y/N!” Jared says a bit too loudly.
“Whoa, are you okay?” you chuckle and hug him.
“Yeah, I’m great.”
Jared has always been a light weight despite how tall he is. He definitely has the weight to keep the effects of alcohol away but he acts like he’s a hundred pounds when he drinks. It only takes a few drinks to really get him going.
“What number of drink is that?”
“Three?”
“You drink any more, you’ll bring out Doug. Do you really want to do that?”
“Probably not,” he chuckles.
You have fond memories of Jared’s alter ego coming out after he’s had too many to drink. The night usually ends in the cops being called but it’s memories you love to think about.
“So, I met Denise.”
Jared starts laughing at the tone of your voice.
“Yeah, everyone has that same reaction when they first meet her.”
“What is her problem?”
“I don’t know. She’s not the best person to be around but no one says anything because it seems like Jensen is happy. They’ve only been dating for a few months but they seem happy together.”
Jensen and Denise come back from the self-tour and you watch as she clings to his side even though he wants to go over to his friends and converse. He has a smile on his face that doesn’t quite reach his ears. He might be happy but it’s not true happiness.
“You don’t know him like I do.”
You leave Jared’s side to join Jensen’s. He has yet to tell you about his trip and now’s the perfect time to do that. It’s been so long since you’ve seen him, you just want to be around him. However, Denise sees you walking over to them and she tugs on Jensen’s arm to grab his attention. She leans in and whispers something in his ear that causes him to chuckle.
“Sure,” he nods.
They both walk off before you can get to them, and Denise looks back at you to gauge your reaction. You pretend like you weren't walking to them and veer to the right where Gen is. She says something to you but you’re not paying attention. You stare at the couple until they disappear around the corner of the house. Jensen didn’t even see you coming toward him.
You push down your feelings and enjoy the company of everyone else until dinner is served. Jensen took the seat next to you before Denise could pull him away so she is forced to take the other side of him. Everyone digs into the delicious food immediately and the conversation somehow gets on the topic of how stupid Jensen has been in his past.
“Once Jared told me I couldn't do it, I had to prove him wrong. I climbed up to the roof  and got ready to jump into the pool.”
“I told him not to do it but he wouldn’t listen,” you chuckle.
“Yeah, so I got a running head start and jumped off into the pool. I made it in but it was shallower than I thought, and I broke my arm on the side of the pool.”
“You were a big cry baby,” you laugh and lean on his arm in laughter. “I held your hand the entire way to the hospital.”
“That you did,” he smiles down at you.
Denise’s jaw ticks in annoyance and jealously. She grabs her alcoholic drink and walks past you as if she is going to get a refil. However, she “trips” and she spills her entire drink all over your new dress. You gasp from how cold it is and stand up in shock.
“Oh, I am so sorry!” Denise apologizes.
“Shit, that’s cold!”
You look down at your dress to see the alcohol already staining your dress. You look at Denise and see the malicious intent in her eyes. She might be faking an apology but you know she couldn’t care less about this. She did this on purpose.
“Here, come with me. Let me clean this up before the stain sets.”
“Do you need me to come with you?” Jensen asks.
“No, I got this,” Denise chuckles.
She takes you into the cabin before you have  achance to say anything. As soon as the door is closed, she becomes a whole other person. She drops the nice girl act and shows her true colors.
“I don’t know what your problem is, but stay away from my boyfriend.”
“My problem? What are you talking about?”
You grab some napkins to dab your dress without her help.
“You can play games all you want but he’s mine, and I’ll make your life miserable if you keep doing what you’re doing.”
“I don’t want him,” you lie.
“Please,” she scoffs and rolls her eyes, “I saw the way you were looking at him the entire night. Stay away from him or I’ll do more than pour alcohol down your dress.” She walks back to the door but pauses because she’s not done talking. “I am better than you in every way. You might be the best friend but I’m his girlfriend, and I always get what I want.” She gives you a sweet smile as if she didn’t just threaten you. “It’s nice to meet you though. Sorry about the dress.”
As soon as she leaves the kitchen, tears roll down your cheeks. You can’t go back out there looking like a mess so you dry your cheeks and your dress as much as possible before going back outside. Everyone is mostly done with dinner so they’re standing around instead of sitting. Jensen immediately walks over to you with a look of concern on his face.
“Hey, are you okay? I can pay for the dry cleaning.”
You look at Denise who is watching you with careful eyes. Jensen might genuinely be happy with her so you can’t take that away from him and tell him how rotten his girlfriend is. Plus, would he even believe you? Yes, you’re his best friend but would he believe you over his girlfriend?
“No, it’s okay. It was a misunderstanding,” you sigh.
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah.”
You excuse yourself and walk over to Jared who has been watching you three the entire night. He had two glasses of water at dinner so he’s sobered up some more. He sees the look of defeat on your face and nudges you arm.
“They won’t last.”
“What?”
“I don’t see them lasting another month.”
“Why would I care?”
“Come on,” Jared chuckles. “We all know you’re in love with him.”
“Shut your mouth, Jared,” you snap.
“What, am I wrong?”
You look at Jensen and Denise who are all over each other. She has her arms wrapped around his neck and his hands are low on her hips. You have to hold back your tears.
“It doesn’t matter how I feel. She clearly doesn’t want me around.”
“Give it time.”
Jensen and Denise walk into the cabin to do God only knows what, and you decide it’s best if you leave now. You don’t want to spend the night and have to hear them through the walls.
“As much fun as this whole thing has been, I should go now.”
You give Jared a side hug so you don’t get the alcohol on him.
“Good luck.”
You can’t leave this party without saying goodbye to Jensen. You’ll steal a couple of minutes and leave and that will be that. You don’t even have to give him a hug goodbye . You walk inside the house in search of your best friend. You walk past the kitchen into the living room where you overhear Denise and Jensen talking.
“What’s wrong? You were fine when we showed up.”
“I don’t like that you spend so much time with her. I’m your girlfriend who loves you.”
“She’s my best friend.” Great, they’re talking about you. How can you go in there now? It’ll only be awkward and you’ll give away that you’ve been listening. “We grew up together.”
“You’re with me now. Y/N needs to find someone she loves and leave us alone. I don’t want to be rude but it’s obvious she wants you.”
You can’t see Jensen’s face from where you’re at but you can only imagine what it looks like.
“You’re overreacting.”
“Do you have feelings for her? Is that why you’re being this way?”
You hold your breath and wait for his answer.
“Be this way? What are you talking about?”
“It’s me or her. Pick one. You can’t have both.”
You can’t bear the thought of hearing his answer because there is a chance that he might choose her. You quickly leave the room without hearing his answer and escape to your car. You shouldn’t have come. He has been with Denise for months across the world. He probably has a lot more fun with her than he does with you. He’s found someone to replace you with. You can’t fault him for choosing her. She can give him everything you can’t.
You peel out of the driveway and start the journey back home. Tears are flowing down your cheeks making it harder to see the road in front of you. It’s a particularly windy day so your car is slightly shaking; nothing you can’t control. It doesn’t help you’re driving in the mountains with no light except for that of your headlights. Through your tears, you don’t see the car on the other side of the roading coming straight at you.
You hit him going seventy miles an hour head on, and you’re thrown from the windshield and onto the groound. You left in such a hurry that you forgot to put your seatbelt on. The car you hit is a much bigger car than yours so it doesn’t have nearly as much damage as yours. The car slams on its break before slowly driving off, leaving you on the ground outside.
You gasp in pain and stare at the starry sky above you. Blood runs down your body and pools on the ground. You never took time to admire how pretty the night sky is. Your entire body is in pain but there is a certain peace that comes with being on the brink of death. You close your eyes to get some sleep when you hear someone calling your name off in the distance.
How much time has passed? It seems like minutes but could have been for much longer.
“Y/N!” Jensen gasps and slides on the ground when he gets to you. You open your eyes and see red and blue lights flashing off his face. “I’m right here. You’re going to be okay. Just hang on for me, okay? Please be okay.”
“Sir, you need to move.”
Jensen is pulled back so the paramedics can come in and do their job. You close your eyes because you’re so fucking tired. You feel yourself being lifted off the ground and onto something softer than the ground. You’re wheeled on a gurney into the ambulance with Jensen following closely behind.
“Sir, only family are allowed inside.”
“I’m her husband,” Jensen shouts and pushes past the paramedics.
They allow him to sit inside and be with you until they get to the hospital. Jensen grabs your bloody hand just as you roll your head to the side. You barely squeeze his hand to let him knwo you’re with him and not going toward the light no matter how tempting it might be.
“I’m right here, sweetheart. I’m holding your hand.”
The next time you open your eyes, you’re confronted with blinding white lights. Is this what Heaven is like? Did you die? You blink a few times to correct your vision and see you’re not in Heaven but a hospital room. You groan softly and look to your right where Jensen is. He is holding your hand with his head lowered like he’s praying. When he hears your painful groan, his head snaps up.
“Sweetheart. Hey, I’m right here.”
“Jensen?” you croak.
“Do you need some water?” You nod and he grabs a small cup of water. He helps you drink before setting the cup down. “How are you feeling?”
“What happened?”
“You collided with another car. The bastard left instead of staying but cops found him near where the cabin is. There’s only one road going in and out of town so it wasn’t hard to spot the truck with bumper damage. Your car is totaled though.”
Oh, yeah. The reason why you didn't see the other car is because you had tears flowing out of your eyes the entire time. Why were you crying? Right. Jensen was going to choose Denise over you. You take your hand away from his when you remember this and shift further from him.
“Where is Denise?”
“Gone.” Your eyes snap to his. “I broke up with her.”
“What? Why?”
“She made me choose. Anyone who makes me choose isn’t good enough to be with me.”
“What did she make you choose?” you ask even though you know the answer.
“It was either you or her, and you should know by now I will always choose you.”
“You shouldn’t have had to do that.”
“I’m glad she did.” He grabs your good hand and kisses the back of it. “I was blind to who was by my side my entire life.”
You smile and run your thumb on the back of his hand.
“What does this mean?”
“First, you get better. Then, I’m going to show you just how much I love you.”
“Deal,” you smile shyly.

“Come on, man!” Jared encouraged. “It’s been a year since your divorce. You gotta get back out there.”
“I’m not ready to date, Jar. I told you that. My focus is on my kids right now,” Jensen huffed, having lost count of how many times Jared had tried to get him to start dating.
“Hey, I didn’t say anything about dating,” Jared chuckled. “I’m talking about going out to a bar, having a few drinks, maybe taking a girl home for some fun. We could go out tomorrow? I’ll be your wingman, just like old times.”
“And where am I supposed to find a babysitter with such short notice, huh? Gen’s away, so it’s not like we can ask her,” Jensen retorted.
“I’ll ask Y/N,” Jared shrugged. “Gen and I trust her completely. She’s a med student and has been watching our kids for a couple of years now.”
“I don’t know, man,” Jensen groaned.
“She’s not a complete stranger to your kids either, you know. Y/N’s watched them before, too,” Jared continued, not taking notice of his friend’s reluctance. “Come on, even if it doesn’t end in a good time between the sheets with a hot girl—which I am all for, FYI, because, dude, how long has it been?—we can at least go out, have a few beers, watch a football game. What d’ya say?”
“It has been a long time since that. And even longer since I went to a bar to watch a game,” Jensen agreed. “And the Cowboys are playing. Yeah, alright, let’s do it.”
“Yeah?” Jared grinned.
“Yeah. Call Y/N and see if she’s free and doesn’t mind a couple of extra kids for the night.”
Tumblr media
While driving to Jared’s, Jensen couldn’t help but feel excited for their night ahead. It had been so long since he’d taken any time to himself. He’d been so focused on his kids and work since the divorce and had fooled himself into thinking he was happy. He deserved to have a little fun. He still had a lot of life to live and a lot of love to give, and although he wasn’t looking to date quite yet, if someone caught his eye tonight, maybe he’d get lucky.
Jensen pulled up in the driveway, got himself and the kids out of the car, and went up to the house. With their families so close, the kids opened the Padalecki’s front door and ran straight into the house.
Chuckling, Jensen walked in after them and closed the door behind him. As he made his way down the hallway, a laugh as sweet as honey reached his ears, and he found himself straightening his posture and puffing his chest slightly.
“Hey, man,” Jared said as he walked into the kitchen, where a woman with Y/H/C hair had her back to him. “This is Y/N,” his friend continued, and when she turned around and smiled at him, Jensen’s heart skipped a beat, and everything else Jared said was lost in this stunning woman’s haze.
Y/N was hot and way out of his league, and not just because he was old enough to be her father. She was gorgeous with her big doe eyes, beautiful smile, curves in all the right places—
“Jay? You with me, man?” Jared’s voice pulls him away from his stupor and back to the two people in the room: Jared, with a concerned frown on his brow and Y/N, smirking softly at him and gently chewing on her bottom lip.
“Uh, yeah, sorry. Just trying to remember if I locked the door when I left,” Jensen lied.
“Okay,” Jared said, not sounding entirely convinced but seemingly letting it go. “Ready to go?”
“Sure. Thanks for this, Y/N. I appreciate you taking on another two kids for the night,” Jensen said, finally getting something out to the girl.
“It’s my pleasure,” Y/N smiled softly, and he swore he saw a little bit of flirtatiousness in her eyes.

“Thanks, man. I think this is just what I needed,” Jensen said as he and Jared got into the car to drive home. “It’s been so long since we just grabbed a beer and some wings.”
“It has,” Jared agreed. “It was nice to have my buddy back, but I gotta ask, no interest in any of the women in there? At least five had their eyes on you, man, and some of them were gorgeous.”
“I don’t think I’m ready for that, but when I am, you’ll be the first to know.” It wasn’t entirely true. If Y/N were older, he’d definitely try and hit that, but he was far too old for her, and there was no chance she’d want to have sex with an old man.
They settled into a quiet ride back to Jared’s house, filled with light conversation on their plans for a day at the lake with the kids tomorrow.
Pulling into Jared’s drive for the second time that day, both men exited the vehicle and headed into the house and through to the living room.
Jensen stopped in the doorway, noticing that Y/N was watching a movie, her hair pulled back in a messy knot on top of her head, teasing him with her bare, unblemished neck that he wanted to cover in his marks.
He needed to get a grip of himself. And he definitely needed to dig out his favourite porn videos and carve out a little time to take care of himself because this was ridiculous. Y/N was hot; there was no doubting that, but his fascination with her had to be because of his lack of sexual release.
“Hey,” Y/N said when she saw them. “The kids are fine. They’re all asleep in the tent we put up in the playroom.”
“Great, thanks, Y/N. They didn’t give you any trouble?” Jared checked.
“None. They were perfect, as always,” Y/N smiled as she put on her jacket, threw her backpack over her shoulder, and tucked the cash Jared had given her for babysitting into her pocket.
“Thanks again. I appreciate you coming out at short notice and giving up your weekend,” Jared smiled at the young woman.
“They’re good kids, so it’s no problem. Plus, I managed to get some studying done without my roommates being too loud,” she giggled.
“I appreciate it all the same,” Jared nodded. “Hey, man,” he added, turning his attention to Jensen. “Why don’t you leave the kids here for the night? They’re sleeping comfortably, and you’ll be over for breakfast anyway, right?”
“You sure?” Jensen checked.
“Yeah,” Jared confirmed. “No point in waking and upsetting them when they’ll be coming back here anyway.”
“Alright, thanks, Jared,” Jensen said as he slapped his friend on the back, his mind already drifting to those porn videos. “Y/N, do you need a ride home? I didn’t see a car out there, and it’s the least I can do.”
“Sure. Thank you, Jensen,” Y/N replied, a shy smirk pulling at lips.
Tumblr media
“How was your night?” Y/N asked as they climbed into his car.
“Good. It’s been a while since I just went for a beer with a friend,” Jensen replied.
“So it was just a drink with a friend? No ladies on your radar? Jared made it sound like you were out on the prowl, and he needed to be your wingman!” Y/N grinned at him.
“Uh, there were a few pretty girls, sure, but I’m not looking for that right now.”
“That’s a shame. I would’ve done anything to get a handsome guy like you to go home with me,” Y/N grinned wider, giggling when his head snapped towards her with his eyebrows practically hitting his hairline.
“Sweetheart, I’m old enough to be your dad!” Jensen spluttered.
“I don’t mind older men. In fact, I prefer them… Daddy,” Y/N looked at him and batted her lashes.
“Fuck, Y/N,” Jensen gasped. He couldn’t believe she wanted him. “We can’t.” It was a weak attempt, but he needed to at least look like he was trying to turn down his best friend’s hot babysitter.
“But why, Daddy? Don’t you want me? Was I a bad girl?” she pouted and slid her hand into his lap, palming his hard cock through his denims.
“Shit! We’re really doing this?” Jensen groaned when she squeezed his erection, and she nodded her head.
“If you want to,” Y/N said, dropping her act. “If not, you can drive me home, and we’ll pretend this never happened. But if you want me, I’m yours.”
Jensen was speechless. An incredibly attractive twenty-year-old woman was in his car, calling him Daddy, making his dick harder than it had ever been, and offering herself to him on a platter. He must’ve died and gone to heaven.
“I want you, Y/N. Fuck, I’d be crazy not to. You’re fucking perfect,” Jensen said, looking into her eyes and making sure she heard him. He chuckled when her face lit up at his praise, noting that not only did this girl have a daddy kink, which he’d happily indulge her with, but a praise kink, too.
“Then let’s go home, Daddy.”
Tumblr media
“That’s my good girl,” Jensen praised, watching Y/N undo his belt and pants and pull his stiff cock from his boxers. “Open up, sweetheart, let Daddy in.”
Y/N’s mouth fell open, and he groaned at the sight. “That’s it, baby girl,” he praised again, pushing himself between her plump lips.
Jensen moaned deep and long as she timidly closed her lips around him and sucked, gently rubbing her tongue over his leaking slit.
“Fuck, sweetheart, you’re so good at that. You love sucking daddy’s cock, huh?” Jensen groaned when she nodded. “Yeah, I know you do, baby girl. Come on, I know you can take more than that.”
Y/N moaned around him, taking more of his cock down her throat, gagging on his length.
“Fuck, yeah, baby girl. Just like that. So good for your daddy, huh? Are you Daddy’s good little girl?” Jensen grunted as he pushed a little deeper.
“Yes, Daddy,” she gasped as he pulled himself from her throat and grabbed her chin, squeezing gently and running his fingers over her spit-slick lips.
“Do you need Daddy to help you undress, or are you a big girl that can do it herself?”
“I can do it, Daddy,” Y/N said as she quickly stripped out of her clothes.
Jensen groaned as his hands skimmed over her perfect, perky breasts and down her taut stomach. “You’re so perfect, baby girl. Daddy loves this beautiful body,” Jensen rasped. “Get up on the bed, sweetheart, and spread those pretty little legs. Let Daddy get a good look at you.”
Y/N climbed on his bed and crawled towards the headboard. Laying down, she spread her legs wide and smirked at Jensen’s deep groan.
“Good girl,” he praised as he crawled up the bed, caressed his hands over her thighs, pushed them apart and lowered his head to her hot, wet centre. “Fucking delicious,” he groaned, licking from the bottom of her slit to the top.
Pushing through her folds, he moaned when her slick pooled on his tongue, and he quickly lapped it up, licking and sucking and thrusting his wet muscle into her tight, dripping hole.
He moved to her clit, licking and sucking on the tiny bud while his fingers toyed with her entrance, circling it gently before slipping one inside.
“So fucking tight, baby girl,” Jensen grunted against her clit. “Gonna need to loosen you up before you can take Daddy’s big cock in your tight little pussy.” He added another finger and curled them upwards, rubbing against her sweet spot over and over.
“Daddy!” Y/N gasped, grinding her hips down on his fingers desperately.
“What is it, baby?” Jensen asked, looking up between her legs and seeing her desperate little pout. “Is Daddy making you feel good?”
“Yes! More, Daddy, please!” she begged.
“Oh, you sound so pretty when you beg, baby girl, and you know Daddy can’t resist when you beg.” He pulled his fingers from her and sucked her juices from them with a hum before crawling up her body and caging her beneath him.
“Please!” she mumbled again, and Jensen couldn’t hold back any longer.
“Alright, since my little princess begged so prettily, she can have Daddy’s cock in her sweet, tight, perfect little pussy,” Jensen growled and pushed his hips forward.
Y/N’s brow furrowed in pleasure with every inch he pushed inside her. When his hips met hers, and he couldn’t go any further, he groaned deeply at the feel of her tight cunt, stretching and fluttering to accommodate his intrusion.
“Fuck!” Jensen roared. “You feel so good, baby girl. So fucking tight and perfect for Daddy, fuck!” He pulled back his hips and slammed forward again, placing his hand on her stomach and pushing down gently, groaning lowly as he felt himself move inside her.
Y/N’s eyes rolled back, and her hips moved with his. “Fuck, Daddy! You’re so big. Feel so good, so full,” she moaned.
“Yeah? That’s because this little pussy was made just for me, sweetheart.” He’d never felt a pussy so good, and the daddy roleplaying they were doing made everything ten times hotter. “Who owns this sweet little pussy, baby girl?”
“You do, Daddy,” Y/N whined.
“That’s right, Daddy owns it. It’s mine,” he grunted with every jerk of his hips, and when Y/N’s orgasm hit, Jensen stalled his movements, holding himself inside her as her tight walls squeezed and pulsed around his cock.
“Fuck, baby girl! You feel so fucking good. I’m gonna come, sweetheart. You want Daddy’s come, huh?” Jensen chuckled as Y/N nodded desperately.
“Yeah? Where do you want Daddy to come?” he gasped, pulling his hips back and pounding roughly into her still-quivering heat.
“Inside me, Daddy, please! I need it!” Y/N whined. Jensen groaned loudly, pushing himself as far in as he could, and came hard, resting against her cervix.
“Fuck, Y/N,” he gasped when he finally regained his senses and pulled his spent and softening cock from her satiated hole. “That was hot, sweetheart, and something I’d be up for more of with you.”
“It was,” she agreed with a giggle. “Unexpected, but hot, and something I definitely want to do with you again.”

The Convention
Summary: Who knew that helping a nervous woman ask a question, would lead to the best thing that ever happened to you…
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You smiled and laughed when Jared and Jensen teased each other about how lovesick they are with their wives. You clapped when Genevieve and Danneel came from the curtains. She cheered with the crowd when the boys got up to kiss their wives.
“Well, isn’t this a surprise?” Jensen said into the mic.
“Um, ladies.” Jared said, coming to stand with Jensen. “What are you doing here?”
Gen raised the mic up to her mouth with a grin. “Did you expect us to stay home when there’s a con where we live.”
“Please,” Danneel laughed along with the crowd.
“Well,” Jared said, trying not to laugh. “The ladies have spoken. I guess it’s time for questions.”
Jensen closed his eyes, lifted a finger and spun around. Jared moved out the way with a laugh when Jensen’s hand got too close to his face. “Um, let’s start with this side.” Jensen opened his eyes, seeing his hand pointed to the right side of the room. “Yeah, this side.”
There was a girl to the left of you that went up to the mic. Her hands were shaking slightly, and it made you focus on her a little more. “Um, I-I,” she stuttered, obviously nervous. “S-sorry.”
“It’s ok, sweetie.” Danneel smiled lightly at the girl.
Jensen nodded. “Yeah, take your time.”
When the girl started shaking a little harder, you couldn’t help yourself and leaned forward. “Hi. You wanna tell me your question and I’ll ask them?”
The girl nodded gratefully, smiling when you put your phone down and stood up. She nervous girl whispered into her question into your ear, holding your wrist when she was done, and you stood in front of her. You cast a glance at her necklace, seeing the name Emily before speaking into the mic. “Hi, Emily’s a little shy so I’m asking her question for her.”
“That’s fine,” Jared and Jensen said together, smiling.
“Um, she wanted to know in your opinion what season did Sam have the best hair.”
The crowd immediately laughed along with the Padaleckis and Ackles. “That’s a great question. Jared?” Danneel was the first to stop laughing as much.
“I feel like we should all answer that.” Jared laughed at the look on Jensen’s face.
“I don't think I can answer that. Am I crazy? Is this a debate? He's had the same freaking haircut for 13 years.” Jensen looked genuinely confused. “What am I missing here?”
Jared raised a hand towards Jensen while the girls were laughing. “Take it easy.”
“He had a beard in the beginning of the season.” Danneel pointed out.
Jensen nodded at her input. “Yeah. Thank god he got rid of that. His hairs never changed.”
Genevieve raised her hand and patted Jared’s head. “I would say season 7.”
Jared smiled at his wife’s answer. “I- My favorite overall hair above the neck of Sam’s-”
Danneel interrupted him with a slight laugh. “Did you need to point that out?”
The crowd laughed louder at her. You smiled at the playful banter between them. This was one of the reasons you were apart of this family.
“I think my favorite hair of Sam’s of all time was episodes 1, 2 and 3 of season 14.”
You cheered along with the crowd and laughed at the confused look on Jensen’s face. “What am I missing here?”
Danneel rubbed her husband’s shoulders in comfort, while trying not to laugh. “What was your favorite haircut, Ms. Emily?”
You looked the still shaken up girl next to you. She whispered her answer to you, and you repeated it to them. “She really loved season 9.”
Most of the crowd roared agreeing with her. “And what about you...” Genevieve trailed off waiting for your name.
“Y/N.”
“What was your favorite haircut, Y/N?” Gen repeated.
“Imma say, the beginning of season 6 and I really like the middle of season 7.”
The crowd roared even louder at your answer. Gen nodded her head to what you answered, sharing a look with Jared. “I agree. Those are my favorite too.”
Jensen sat there shaking his head. “What am I missing here?”
You laughed at him. “It’s just, the length changes. It was below his shoulders at one point. There was the slicked back look for the priests in season 1, I think. He had bangs in the very, very beginning and-”
The crowd laughed when Jensen threw his hands up and walked away.
Gen raised her mic up to her lips. “You know a lot about his hair.”
You shrugged, “To be fair, I’m a Sam girl.”
Half the crowd cheered even louder with that.
Jared laughed in Jensen’s face. “He-he. Look at that.”
“But-” you laughed when Jensen mocked Jared. “I’m also a Ruby fan.”
“Oh, come on.” Jensen yelled into the mic.
“I’m coming to give you a hug.” Gen said, putting her mic on Jared’s lap before coming your way. She gave you a tight hug and kiss on the cheek before waking away. She grabbed the mic back from Jared. “Y/N’s my new best friend.”
“Gladly,” you yelled, smiling when she winked at you.
You sat through the rest of the con, holding onto Emily’s still shaking hand. You could tell she had anxiety, and you could understand that feeling so you were happy to be some form of anchor. Even if you had no idea who she was.
You could see Jared and Genevieve looking your way a few times, but you thought that they were subtly checking on Emily.
You sat there when the con ended, talking to Emily. It was only when she stood, did you stand too. You exchanged phone numbers with the promise of meeting up soon. You had just grabbed when someone laid a hand on your shoulder. You turned to see Jared Padalecki himself standing there. “Hi.” Was all you managed to say.
He laughed, some of his falling in his face. “Hi, Ms. Y/N. Do you have anywhere to be?”
You looked at your watch before looking back at him. “No.”
He smiled, showing his teeth. “Perfect. You mind following with me?”
You shook your head no, putting your purse on your shoulder and following the giant. He led you to the green room where Jensen, Danneel and Gen were. “Guys,” he caught their attention before stepping to the side, exposing you. “Ms. Y/N.”
Jensen stepped forward, extending his arm. “Hi, sweetheart.” He called you into a hug before letting go. “It’s nice to meet you.”
“Nice to meet you, too.” You looked slightly starstruck. “Um, not to be rude or anything, but could somebody tell me what I’m doing here before I faint?”
The girls laughed while the boys tried to hide a smile. “We just wanted to thank you personally for helping Emily out. You didn’t have to, and it was really kind.”
Jared nodded in agreement with Danneel. “Everybody else would’ve just sat there so, again thank you.”
You waved your hand. “It was nothing.”
Jensen could tell you were one of those people that didn’t take compliments, so he changed the subject. “Is this your first con?”
You shook your head. “No, I’ve been to most of them.”
“Here, have a seat,” Jared said, leading to the couches they have in the room. You sat putting your purse next to you. “Where are you from?”
“Houston, Texas, born and raised.”
Danneel and Genevieve smiled at each other. “So, we have another Texan in the building, I see.”
“Do you still live in Texas or are you just visiting?” Jared asked, leaning on the wall next to a mini fridge.
“I’ve lived outside of Austin for like 8 years now.”
“You don’t have to answer but you’re like in your late 20’s right?” Gen asked, hesitantly.
You hummed, confirming her answer. “I’ll be 27 on Christmas.”
“A true Christmas baby. I can now officially say, I’ve met someone born on Christmas.” Jared clapped lightly, causing you to laugh.
“And I can tell my mom that I’ve met two of my woman crushes and their husbands. We can die in peace now.” Your response had them laughing, but you could see Genevieve blush slightly.
“Are you close with your parents?” Jared asked, wrapping an arm around Gen and pulling her into his lap.
“Parent. And yes. My dad died in 2013 so it’s just me and my mom now and we’re all each other have.” You shrugged off their sympathetic looks.
“Sorry for your lost,” Jensen said at the same time as Danneel.
“Don’t be. We had years to prepare for it so, we’ve come to terms for it.”
Gen opened her mouth, but your alarm went off in your purse. You took it out with a wince. “Sorry, guys. I have to get to work.”
They nodded in understanding, Gen standing up and hugging you. “It was a pleasure to meet you.”
You hugged her back, before doing the same to everyone else. “No really, the please was all mine. This was a dream come true. You guys have made my year.”
“Here, we’ll walk you out.” Jared pointed to the door you originally came through.
You followed him and Genevieve out, waving to the Ackles. It was a comfortable silence as they walked you outside. Before you completely left the building, you thanked them once again.
Jared caught your arm before the doors opened. “Hey. Do you think we could get your number? Maybe do a lunch or something? Get to know you.” He seemed shy and so did the brown-haired girl next to him.
You smiled, giving him your phone opened to the new contacts. He added him and Gen and sent a text to both their phones before he handed you your phone back. Gen smiled after she,  presumedly, saved your contact. “What time do you get off work?”
“Around 3 today.”
“We’ll call.” Gen gave you another hug and surprisingly a kiss on the cheek.
It wasn’t until you got in your car, did you fully understand what happened. “Holy shit, I just gave Jared and Gen my number.”

An Actress life - Chapter 1
A/N: please excuse this bc I wrote this story like two years ago, so it might be different to the works I write now lol sksksks maybe you still enjoy it.
PS: this was my first fan fiction ever!!!
Tumblr media
Chapter one
word count: 1,252 words
It is the last day on set of the tv show you have played in for 7 years. You're a bit sad about that, that it has ended. But you're also happy, because the last 3 years weren't that easy. The crew sucked sometimes and the most members of the cast didn't understand any jokes, they were serious about everything all the time. You didn't enjoy going to work, you always thought being an actress would be rather cool, it is, but at this set you haven't felt like that. This tv show has showed you the negative aspects of being an actress. On the other hand you are thankful for this time, because of this show you met your best friend Gen.
You know her since the show has started that means for seven years and you are thankful that you are allowed to call her your best friend. She is so adorable and you love her. And because of you she is married to Jared Padalecki, why because of you? Because in 2009 you filmed 'Friday the 13th' with him, although you were in your show you managed doing both. So that you and Jared worked together,  got along very well and hung around a lot, you introduced the two with each other. One day you took Gen to a bar, where Jared and other people from the crew and cast were. They also got along quickly and went on dates but maybe you weren't the single reason why they've married.
Gen got a small part in Supernatural where Jared has a main part as Sam Winchester. You remember like it was yesterday when they have called her, in this moment you were sitting in a tiny coffee shop, talking about everything and then she got this call. She screamed so loudly, everyone was looking at you like you two would be crazy.  But yeah that's how they met first, because of you. When they married you were her maid of honour, you felt honoured, since you two didn't know each other rather long when she chose you. Their wedding was a dream, everything seemed perfect. She looked amazing, indescribable more than words can say.
Okay, enough story telling of your best friend's life. Your love life isn't that exciting right now you are single for two years, because your ex boyfriend has cheated on you when you were shooting for your tv show. That has happened 1 year after Gen and Jared's wedding. You two were 6 months in a relationship, so it was not that hard, like the relationship you had before. Enough of your past life. Right now you are in your hometown Austin to visit your parents, you haven't seen them for weeks even months. Your mum told you to visit her and your stepfather, because some of your family from Poland is there and you have missed them a lot.
You knock at the door and your mum opens it, full of happiness to see you, you breath out of relief, because you thought she would be really angry with you. You go through the door to say hello to the rest of your family. You all sit down to the table where the food is already waiting for all of you. Polish food. You love it. You eat one bite and you feel like you are in heaven, because it tastes so good. Then you suddenly get a call from your manager Edward Swensen. "Sorry guys excuse me for a minute."
Your mum looks annoyed at you, what you totally understand. You go to the kitchen and pick up. "Hey Y/N/N, sorry for interrupting your family time, but I have an amazing job offer for you." "What job, Ed?" "Eric Kripke called this morning, the producer of Supernatural." "Ed I know, who Eric Kripke is. Just keep going." "Okay, okay. They want you as a main part." Silence. You know, your ex-boyfriend Jensen has also a main part in this show.
"Wow. That's amazing, what kind of role?" "A love interest of Dean." You think Oh shit, how are you going to survive this? Just be professional. "When do I have to answer?" "Right now, Y/N/N."  "Well, I'm not quite sure about that." "Y/N Y/L/N are you kidding? This is a big opportunity." "It's not that, I would take it if my ex-boyfriend wouldn't be Dean." "Oh shit, I totally forgot about that." "But I'm looking forward and I'll take it." "So sorry to tell you this, but the meeting will be tomorrow. In Vancouver." "Seriously?" "Yeah, I'm so sorry."
You are so annoyed, you just have arrived and tomorrow you gonna leave for, you don't know how long. "When will the flight be?" "10 am. I'll send you the ticket via email." "Thank you." "See you tomorrow then, Y/N." "Bye, Ed." You feel like you have to tell your bestie, so you call Gen but she doesn't pick up. You can understand, she is busy with Tom and her second pregnancy. You already have forgotten about Jensen that he plays Dean.
You have to leave in less than 16 hours. "Y/N/N what's going on?" Your cousin asks. "I have a new job, for which I have to leave at 8am because my flight will be at 10am tomorrow. " Your mum is looking angry at you. "I am happy for you but you have just arrived." Your sister says. "I know, I am so so-" Your mum interrupts you "Are you kidding me?" She asks angrily but then her anger turns to happiness. She comes to you and hugs you. "I am so proud of you, Y/N/N." She whispers into your ear.
Tears come to your eyes, because you are so thankful for your family, that they always support you. "Thank you guys, but I have to call Gen again. And if she doesn't pick up, I will visit her." "Sure, greet her from us." "Of course." You go to the living and try to call her again but she doesn't pick up again, so you decide to go to her house.
15 minutes later, you arrive at her house and ring the door bell. A few seconds later she opens the door in amazement. "Hey, what are you doing here? I thought you are with your family today." She hugs you and gestures you to come in. "I thought that too. I was calling you, but you didn't pick up. Then I decided to come over." "I don't even know where my phone is." She says laughing. "It's fine, I know you're busy. I have some amazing news." You say in excitement.
You sit down on their couch. "Start, I wanna know." "I'm gonna have a main part in Supernatural." "Wow. That's amazing, we have to tell Jared." "Jared." She yells. Jared comes to the living room, you two hug each other.
"Y/N/N, what are you doing here?" He asks with a smile. "Let me introduce you to your new colleague." Gen says proud and points at you.
"No way!" He says happily.
