"Wait- really? You're serious? I know you don't mean now but like, oh my god- there's only so much I can do with a keytar, but I promise it's going to be good."

[ They stop, taking a deep breath. Okay, not expected, but in the best way possible. Sure, they'd have to practice a little, as their skills have definitely gone rusty over time, but still!! ]

"Then you'd have to show me a hobby of yours. I think that's only fair. Plus, there's definitely something you do in your free time."

There’s a loud noise behind Rory as something lands against the ground. The glow, the looming presence, the strange static noise - it’s unmistakable.

Yet, despite it all, that expected feeling of pain from a blade coasted in toxins… never comes.

[ Rory jolts, keytar nearly sliding out of their hands at the commotion. That vicious, threatening tone - it's definitely them again. Clenching their hands, the survivor slowly turns to face the other. ]

"... Me?"

[ They squeak, cursing internally at just how pathetic that sounded. They're fully expexting them to attack, or lash out - but after a minute, maybe two, Rory drops their guard just a little. ]

"Not quite finished with me yet, huh?"

[ The comment just barely covers the anxiety in their tone. ]
