Born to wealthy, traditionalist parents in the CAS, Karen Klein was raised in the finest of clothes, wanting for nothing. As a teen, she attended cotillion, and was betrothed to a promising child of one of her father’s business partners.

Things changed during one day. There was a violent corporate takeover, by a Humanis backed company, and her family was slaughtered. Karen was only spared due to being in a back room, and the mercs got spooked by the Doc Wagon sirens. When she returned to the gala, ‘Death to Fucking Keebs’ was sprayed on the wall.

On that day Karen Klein died, and Killer Keeb was born.

KayKay moved to Seattle and worked her way up through the shadows, becoming quite proficient with heavy weapons (like her auto-grenade launcher, here). She still bears a volatile hatred for Humanis and their ilk, seeing red and attacking when they’re involved.

When the situation calls for it, she is still able to recall her cotillion training, infiltrating formal events with relative ease, though she still prefers her armor to a gown.

Has your opinions of the boys relationship with their gfs changed since you deactivated?

It depends on what aspect of the relationships we’re talking about.

The reason 5secondsofsummertheories became so popular was that I vehemently questioned the validity of the relationships—as in, I thought Lierra and Mystal were PR couples. However, I eventually took the stance that they were real relationships that were used for publicity and attention.

I think that was true for the time I was active, but one has to recognize that now, neither couple is really used for PR in the ways they used to be. I consider that a good thing. It was never a good look for them to be selling out their relationships for the sake of garnering attention.

Aside from questioning the validity of their relationships, I was very critical of the nature of their relationships. I thought them to be quite toxic, and if the evidence from the time came out today, I think I would come to the same conclusion.

That being said, both couples seem to be way more private than they used to be, and there have been far less slip-ups nowadays. There’s not really much content upon which to make judgements about their relationships—other than current lyrics, short statements, and past behavior.

So I guess you could say I don’t have much of an opinion on them anymore because 1.) I don’t pay attention to them as much as I used to and 2.) they’re more private.

Regarding KayKay/Ashton and Brandy/Calum, I always thought they were in real relationships, and I never had any strong opinions about either of them. I thought KayKay and Ashton’s relationship seemed unhealthy because they were always breaking up and getting back together, and alas, they’re not together anymore. I know next-to-nothing about Ashton and Margaret’s relationship, so I can’t say much about it—other than she seems to harbor some bitter feelings toward him.
