Dad (Тато) — white wavy hair & green eyes

Mother — almost black curly hair & brown eyes

Father (Батько) — white hair & blue eyes

Some differences between siblings features:

~ After blood adoption Jack & Keid inherited features of their adoptive parents

~ Before adoption Jack & Keid had a dirty-blond hair and greyish eyes

~ Triplets the only siblings that have white hair.

~ Liz has green eyes while both her triplet sisters have blue eyes.

~ Same way Delphi & Sam have different eyes colour (blue & brown)

~ Delphini has central heterochromia (green in her eye near pupils)

~ Diana has heterochromia and has colour from each of her parents

~ Keid & Jack are identical twins while Delphi & Sam aren't

They are from pure-blood family, but raised with knowledge of muggle world as well, just so they wouldn't look out of place if they ever will have any businesses with it.

Fun fact, their second names are names of real starts or constellations. It's Blackmoth family tradition to give children second names after starts/constellations. If I'm not mistaken (I can, knowing my unreliable memory), I gave constellation second name only to Rav and Liz as heirs (heir Blackmoth and heir Koval respectively). And Kaitlin the only one who's second name isn't star name, cause she is a seer and that's whole different kind of magician.

Was rewatching some Tim Burton films recently; I forgot how much I liked Sleepy Hollow and Corpse Bride!

I FORGOT ABOUT SLEEPY HOLLOW. I loved that fucking movie so much when I was younger, I watched the hell out of it. There was a time where I knew it off-by-heart, and could basically quote the lines.

Corpse Bride was also a banger. It's one of my husband's favourites. We have a watch list for Halloween and Corpse Bride, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Fankenweenie are top of the list.

Gotta get in on that Sleepy Hollow though.

REVIEW:

⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was a very beautiful, haunting, atmospheric book. Dark and fantastical yet all-too-real, with characters that will inadvertently tear your heart out - in a good way. To me, it's a bittersweet love story - love in all its forms - ensconced in a gritty, tension-filled tale with evocative writing. We have our Blue and Mackie, two boys as opposite as can be, but intrinsically wound together; personally, I much prefer Blue, but I think having this told from Mackie's point of view works very well, as we follow him along in his confusion and fear and tentative hope and loss. I think this toes a line between urban fantasy and magical realism, and does it really well; I greatly enjoyed all the bits taking place in and around the forest, with the creatures of the forest, and loved all the descriptions of these creatures, some strangely beautiful, some grotesque and haunting, and all chillingly good. If you love a character-driven story, urban fantasy/magical realism, dark and atmospheric stories, and books with LGBT themes, definitely give this a read.
