I know it's probably been said before but Immortals of Aveum is an amazing game!

I know it's probably been said before, but Immortals of Aveum is an amazing game! Just finished the game, and I definitely share the sentiment that this game didn't get the popularity it deserved. A fantastic game from start to finish with great dialogue, great story, and incredibly fun gameplay. Aside from frame rates dropping every now and then, the gameplay was very smooth, the graphics are amazing and I just really, really enjoyed playing the game and would recommend to any fans of fantasy or first person shooters. Not ashamed to say I cried a little when it was over. I've not felt this way about a game in a while. This game and the studio deserved so much better because what they created was, in my opinion, a masterpiece. Relationships were built well enough that the emotional story moments hit just right, the lore of the game is rich and the world-building is up there with the best I've experienced. All in all, I'm so disappointed that the studio ended up laying off half of their staff because this game deserves a sequel. There's so much more potential to explore, and a perfect villain set up with Kirkan, and the mention of other areas outside of those explored gives promise to another part of the world ready to be brought to life. I hope the studio is able to rebuild and make a sequel because I know the game has found some success on game pass. I'd give this game a 9.5/10. I have no metric for my scoring system, and I've deducted half a point for the frame rate issues. It's an overlooked masterpiece that deserves more. Till Death Do Us Part - My Thoughts

Since  I can't Live Blog without taking the chance of seeing something I don't want to, I'm going to do it this way, and then post. I have me a "Sunshine & Gunpowder" drink and a piece of chocolate cake, and I'm ready to watch. So please bear with me and remember this is a stream of conscience:

OK, I loved it.  Yes we pretty much knew what was going to happen.  The only thing I didn't know was it was Kensi's Dad's ring in the box.  The nice thing about the way Gemmill did it is it was in the locker, so she could have changed the gift out later with the ring, like Nell said.  I love it and I love the episode.  It's as good a wedding as we'll ever get in an hour.

She absorbs sorrows and regrets from the souls of the dead, and 'digests' them over time. The pool of emotion in her belly can get overwhelming, which she responds to by either holding or massaging it. After Viara's brother, Syvon, began rebelling against his purpose, she attempted to contact someone from the Mind Realm. Reaching Monarth, the Dream Warden, who had a connection to soul manipulation, her contact attempt opened a rift between the two realms. A calculated risk she took. The flood of unpurified souls struck down as a beam on Monarth, knocking him unconcious. He spent the following 3 years in a coma in a dream. Having established a connection to his soul, Viara kept trying to make contact via his soulscape. Unsuccessful, she found a pathway to his mindscape, though she couldn't keep her form. Having to apply to the rules of his mind, her mindscape form divided into a dozen reptilian creatures which Monarth dubbed the Kirkan. By interacting as them, she gradually helped Monarth out of his coma and left her request for help at long last. Monarth traveled to the Soul Realm, where they met properly for the first time. Learning about her duties and solitude in the Soul Realm, Monarth felt sympathy for the Sorrow Warden. But time was short as rifts were opening, so Monarth took battle against Syvon. Being overwhelmed by Syvon, Monarth decided to take the battle to a different realm, forcing Syvon and himself to a large rift that was sucking them in. Before disappearing into the rift he promised Viara to return one day. Viara took this to heart and is still waiting.

This is Viara's version 2 in more appropriate colors. She was never meant to contain gunmetal, but until now I didn't have appropriate pieces to make that a reality. Just like the previous version, her body shape is inspired by Mewtwo.
