** Hey everyone! this time I have changed the prediction of this year and instead of posting all the planets together I have separated them so I don't feel overwhelmed. we are first getting into Jupiter, and then Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Have Fun !

it was finally the weekend which means you and your girls can turn up in club after your lectures. I mean what is a Friday night if you are not clubbing in your 20s? you have 1 year left before you graduate from university & is interning at one of the top businesses in japan in a week.

you been waiting for this opportunity since you hear a new ceo was appointed not so long ago, you also hear gossip that he always looks detached / laidback but he’s also very wealthy so it’s fine right? what could possibly go wrong?

Rushing up your apartment stairs to get ready & nearly falling to get to your closet. you promised your two best friends shoko & utahime to be dress by midnight and it was well past 10pm. destroying your closet wasn’t enough you needed to find the perfect outfit for tonight, it didn’t help that you also had to take a bath & do your makeup which all together was about an hour.

as you were searching you spot your off the shoulder tight mesh top that push up your boobs up good. “yeah this top will do for now” you thought as you pair it with a black mini skirt.

Half way getting ready, you hear a loud ass banging nose against your door “y/n you better hurry tf up I wanna make sure we get a good section at the club” utahime shouts. “hold on give me a min” you huff out as you struggle to get your last pair of heels on.

“No one” I roll my eyes. “I been so busy & tried that all I been eating is takeout, between classes and getting ready for this new internship it’s hell” my face clearly showing that I’m stressed, utahime pulls me into a hug saying “don’t put too much pressure on your self you need to relax you already got the intern whats more to worry about?” Puffing out “I don’t know what if I somehow mess this up? I been pulling so much into my classes to get good grades but it will be all for nothing if I can’t even get working for a company correctly”

“see their you go again worry about the future, just have fun in the moment, right shoko?” she gesture towards me at Vivi to get her to agree. I mean she’s right but I saw so many reviews online about how the company is strict and isn’t afraid to disposition anyone. “utahime right, plus we are suppose to clubbing right having fun and this isn’t let’s goo” shoko wraps her arms around me and utahime shoulders as she pulls us to the door with kisses on our cheek. if only y/n knew this was the first step leading down a dangerous road….

WHATS UP FUCKERS I'M HERE TO SHARE WITH YOU MY LATEST CAFFEINE FUELED BRAINCHILD:

You know how Fate has that one cooking spinoff where nobody kills anybody and they just hang around and have dinner?

This is that. For PM fans. Roland is canonically a good cook and a foodie. It could happen. PM please make it happen I just want my goobers to be happy and untraumatized.

Anyways, with that rambling done, let me ramble about these four fuckers and what they're up to.

So, the setting's a fancy college where rich people go to. Angelica is there on academic scholarship; Argalia has a music scholarship; Roland's there because his adopted mom Iori is a lecturer there so the tuition's cheaper; Angela's there because Ayin and Benjamin are fuck you rich and spoils her to high heavens.

Argalia's and Angela are both music majors, Angelica's in engineering, and Roland's in culinary. Roland and Angelica are 2nd years, Argalia and Angela are 3rd years.

Roland's known Angela since forever ago because they were in the same orphanage. Argalia and Angelica are siblings. Here's baby roland on adoption day I drew while writing this because I have no self control.

Where was I? Oh right. So, Roland gets adopted by Iori; Angela gets adopted by Ayin and Benji. Angela calls Ayin Dad and Benjamin Gramps because he has grey hair, the two got to some hijinks in their high school years, they remained friends to present day.

Back to the main four. So, first year, Angelica and Roland meet on campus one day on some meet cute shit. Then it turns out Iori is Angelica's Host family while she's studying here. Romcom shenanigans happen, Argalia's the overprotective brother, Angela's the resident wingman/shipmaker/popcorn eater/"just kiss already" yeller, Roland cooks/awkwardly flirts, Angelica gifts Roland a knife she made for his adoption day, it's great. Eventually A Fritter Called Jeon happens and they start dating and more romcom ensues.

That is everything my stupid little monkey brain can semi-coherently conjure up since the rest are just incoherent snippets of tangentially related information and cute funny things these goobers can get up to. Among which include:

The Asiyah and Briah Sephira are Angela's circle of friends that met in high school, they all go into their respective fields from LoR. Geb does sports. Maybe Yesod and Angelica know each other from engineering competitions or something.

Binah's a CIA agent that knows way too many people, because of course she does.

Yan and Gloria are taking Theology studies, Esther and Hubert are post-grads/professor assistants, they become friends somewhat, Moirai's a professor there.

Blue Reverbs are all music majors that hang out with Argalia and Angela, they take bets on which one snaps and kills the other first. Oswald bets on hate sex. Tanya bets that the two of them would kill someone together.

Charles' Office are Roland's group of friends back from back in High School, Olivier went on to become a civil servant, I do not know what the fuck the rest are up to, we'll see when they show up in Limbus.

Speaking of Limbus, the Limbus gang are all in...I don't know what you english speaking fuckers call "school clubs but in college", I know a word exists for it, but I'm blanking. They're all in one of those. Rodya started it and roped them all in. Vergilius and Dante are their advisors. They go around and survey the socioeconomic state of the country in various locales and write reports about it (read: Rodya found a way to get them all free vacation and they all took it)

Angelica' physically very strong, she does martial arts, and she gets Roland into martial arts, but whenever they "spar" they just end up a blushing pile of goo that's too embarrassed to grapple their crush. They have good fun though.

Argalia keeps trying to split Angelica and Roland apart but he doesn't actually try since he's seen how happy she gets when she talks about him.

Kouji pointed to the headband Gun was currently wearing, the fluffy cat ears on them being a large contrast to his serious demeanor. "If I asked you to wear that, you would've asked me what color I'd want my coffin to be."

"Hm. Really?" Gun smirked out of amusement when the purple haired highschooler gave his arm a light slap.

"Seriously, I've never seen you make so many exceptions for someone before." Kouji huffed and pointed with a thumb at you, which you didn't notice because you were too busy singing with Crystal. "They've really got you wrapped around their finger."

"Please," scoffed Gun, "Is it so strange I enjoy the company of someone? And it's not as if I don't do these things with Goo, either. Just the other day we were at a karaoke like this one."

"Yeah, but you kinda grumble when you agree! With them you just agree right away."

"Your point?"

Kouji let out a deep sigh. "You know what it is? I think they made you soft, at least towards them."

Soft...? Soft?

Never in a million years would Gun ever describe himself with such a word, nor would he imagine someone else would use it in reference to him. Yet at this moment, he could sort of understand why Kouji would say what he did.

He shook his head anyway, turning his attention back to you, adoring your bright smile that even his sunglasses couldn't protect his eyes from as he said, "They made me appreicate something I've yet to experience, that's all. I see no problem with it."

When Kouji made a gagging sound, Gun turned his head back to see him grimacing. "Am I hallucinating? Gun wearing cat ears and saying the most disgustingly cheesy ass thing I've ever heard?"

Gun just chuckled. "Is now a good time to ask what color you would like your coffin?"

"Man..."

[below is extra characterization stuff i started with but then realized i was just rambling instead of writing a story but i liked it enough to keep it]

When others say that beauty was found in people, Gun could agree, but perhaps not in a way one would usually think. For him, it wasn't the kindness or smiles humanity shared that he found beautiful, but physical talent instead--people so skilled, they were on the tip of almost being non-human.

The most flexible gymnast, the fastest swimmer... and most of all, the strongest human; particularly when it came to fighting. Yes, to Gun, there was just something beautiful about the way one could perfectly move themselves to inflict maximum damage, through technique and knowing the right weak spots. Not to mention, knowing there was hard work put behind to maintain such strength and knowledge made it even more beautiful to him.

Of course, there was also talent in itself that fascinated Gun. Anyone could achieve enough through hard work, but not everyone was born with natural talent.

So... why did he find beauty the "normal" way in you? As far as he knew, you couldn't fight, and all you've done was just be yourself. Your personality achieved some sort of dynamic with him where for once he enjoyed the company of someone in a peaceful way. In fact, he wouldn't mind spending the rest of his life with someone like you. It was a strange feeling, but he was sure of it. Emotions weren't too complicated for someone as straightforward as him, after all.

Nonetheless, perhaps he could argue that your talent was making him smile, and for that, he could appreciate the beauty in you; your talent.

Ok, so who all wants to see some ancient designs?? Thought this might be fun since there's so many new people around lately, and even the not-so-new people may not know about these! Here's the first 3 skaters I ever made, back when I was still Syppah's Cute Creations mainly doing amigurumi crochet:

Creepy Eyes is a true OG that's been around since about July 2015! It isn't very popular on skaters or joggers since I stopped doing cons, but it's still going strong as midis and maxis. I've also used the pattern on eyeglass cloths, face masks, scrunchies, tights, zipper bags, and more. I don't think I'll ever fully retire it, haha. The other two up there are Rainbow Narwhals and Cute Eyes (original light pink version below, got the hot pink version above as a misprint afterwards).

The next ones I got that no longer exist were Rainbow Candy, Double Rainbow Candy, and Happy Bees:

tiny prehistoric pics because i can only find them in my old old etsy's sales history, haha As you can see, besides Creepy Eyes the vibes were incredibly different. I wanted to make clothing that could go alongside my ˜”*°•.★·.·´¯`·.·★𝓀𝒶𝓌𝒶𝒾𝒾 𝒶𝓂𝒾𝑔𝓊𝓇𝓊𝓂𝒾 𝓅𝓁𝓊𝓈𝒽𝒾𝑒𝓈★·.·´¯`·.·★.•°*”˜ even though my personal style and fashion interests were/are much more goth. That leaked through again with the Guro Guts skirt next.

The first ever Guro Guts skirt was made just in time for Halloween 2015 In 2016, plushies were still my main focus and for a number of health reasons I was essentially dead that whole year. I don't think I added any new skirts at all..

The next big addition to my skirts was in April 2017 with this set:

Demon Summoning and Vampire Night have survived until this day. Good Medicine on the top left was only made in this colorway for a short time before I switched to a purple & pink version that I also kawaii'd up. Vaporwave and Angel Summoning are both pretty much defunct as of 2021.

2017 Blue/Red Good Medicine, 2018(2019?) Purple/Pink Good Medicine. Both are discontinued

In late 2017, I separated out my clothing shop from my crochet shop and started going all-in on a more goth leaning aesthetic. Witch Vamp (originally "Witch Vampire") was truly born. A lot of designs from that time are ones you'll still recognize today

The only other one that's pretty much gone these days is Rainbow Galaxy. I used to have it in skaters and joggers, but it's another one that wasn't as popular online as it was at cons. They're also like A Lot especially for my generally goth-ish shop

Rainbow Galaxy Skater (designed in 2017), Rainbow Galaxy Joggers (2018 or 2019.. unsure, haha) I last ran preorders with Rainbow Galaxy in 2021, but I don't think I got many orders. I've just let them fizzle out since then. But the skirt semi-lives on in the glorious mistake that is the Bomb Pop Skater

Originally I had 3 of these because a few Rainbow Galaxy Skaters got printed without any yellow. But like, what a good mistake! Since then I've ordered them this way on purpose. EDIT: Another discontinued skirt was the Black Widow's Web. Idk even when I made it first. 2018? But it died in 2021.

Next casualties, between 2020-2022 I discontinued a few more joggers due to slow sales:

Astrology Joggers, Creepy Eyes Joggers, Dark Galaxy Joggers (actually the 2nd version. V1 was a bit too.... phallic with the goo drips lmao) So after that, I think the main casualties have been *item types* rather than designs. I've dropped a lot of things (lanyards, zipper bags, wallets, all-over-print tshirts, tights, pvc charm keychains, and soon enamel pins) because they were great for cons, but don't really sell online. Or because they became obsolete (skirts w/out pockets).

It's been a long journey! And if you go all the way back to my crocheting days, I've been at this whole "self-employed" thing since the day I turned 18 in 2008 and was able to open up an Etsy shop (had other jobs too back then tho, like I was a pharmacy tech for 2 1/2 years). Hope you all enjoy seeing these designs from the old days and learning more Witch Vamp lore!!!

So, I have a question for the Ben 10 AU. What would the four think of Pesky Dust and if they had to transform to his form(half of full) somehow(accidentally or not). And what would they think/feel about it? What if it was Way Big

First up since I'm talking about the 4 different cases, it will be longer(I just came back from a club activity and it's pretty late for me) But I will also put in this ask my answer to the replies from @anonymousfeh in the other 2 asks. Sorry if you 2 are different persons, but I promise I'll try to cover all points from both before I go to bed. :'3

Riddle

First up, this boi finds the watch while he tries to go after Adeuce once he heard these idiots were sent to the mines. At first he thought the 2 got hurt and rushed there only to find the omnitrix and from there it spirals into chaos. This actually prevents Riddle from collaring Ace for the tart slice, as he was just in panic mode all night and was glad that at least Adeuce were alright. He even is the one who gives them some midnight snack(just not the tart as it was for the party), so the 2 pretty much first think of Riddle as just a guy who overthinks way too much. Please give him an ibuprofen. :'3

So Riddle of course it takes a bit for him to process the whole thing, which makes him to become a bit more lenient with the rules, in favor of hiding this (most likely if word got out, Riddle would either be dissected or killed on the spot in his vision). Of course, at first, Riddle decides that if he wants to avoid an accidental transformation, he had to learn how to use the goddamn thing, thing which he does only in his room with everything locked and pulled over. This is how he realises he could have full and half transformations too.

Definitely Pesky Dust was one of Riddle's first full transformations purely by accident. He hated he was so smol, but alas it was only for 10 mins so he couldn't complain too much. :'3

In hindsight Riddle doesn't overBlot because he was busy with hiding and getting used to all of this. Thankfully once the omnitrix recalibers properly, it becomes more of a panja's bracelet, which is slim enough so Riddle could hide it with some leather gloves. Nobody really questions it at all since he wears them almost every time. :'3

For Riddle, he would have other aliens or villains who just want to reek havoc almost every week. He's just trying really hard to keep it together, but uses the omnitrix to a villain attack only when the situation is actually calling for it.(even then, he firstly hides and makes sure he's not seen at all) :'3

Kalim

My man straight up found it before his 2nd year at NRC and Jamil was literally next to him when the omnitrix latched on and Kalim accidentally turned into 4 arms. That day was the day Jamil actually fainted on spot. Doesn't help that Kalim wasn't really that aware of how strong was as 4 arms so chaotic hours.

But because Kalim found it pre NRC return, when he goes in his 2nd year, his omnitrix is fully calibrated as a gold slim watch, which blends perfectly in between his other golden bracelets and shit. So he pretty much got a taste of almost all of his possible transformations and is used to them. He actually uses pesky dust when he has to retrieve things from under his closet, as Goop cakes them in goo. :'3

In here, Jamil's overBlot is Kalim's turning point, where he actually tries to just go on his own and become self independent. Add to that the responsibility that comes with the omnitrix, he has a lot on his plate.

For him, much like everyone will come around, the weekly villains are more often than not handled by the NRC Students. Jamil insists that Kalim must not let them know he has such a powerful device on him, let alone play superhero with it. So very little actually villains show up because no one has any idea that the omnitrix is actually at Kalim.

Epel

Epel found the omnitrix pre-NRC, but with no chance of actually transforming before NRC. So he tests it out in the spur of the moment, when he has his fight with Vil.

So Vil becomes more like a mentor figure. Rook is just a supporter of any shit Epel gets up to using the omnitrix. Once it does recalibrate, Vil seems pleased with the very delicate design while Epel is a bit salty about it.

And Epel absolutely hates pesky dust. Be it half or full transformation. Way big is probably one he likes mostly cuz ✨tall✨. :'3

Epel is mostly the closest to how Ben deals with villains of the week. But Vil tells him to keep identity hidden so Epel can't flex on it for shits and giggles(and also punt Ace if he continues teasing him). Doesn't mean he can't just chew Vil's carpets as Wildmutt. Kind of revenge for not letting him flex. :'3

Idia

Idia finds it in a similar fashion as Riddle. But that night he didn't go to for the first years, he just happened to go for a delivery in the city a bit late and stumbled upon it when he was coming back. At first he was absolutely down on poking the thing, but his curiosity turns into panic when the omnitrix latches into his arm and accidentally turns into an alien. But when he does calm down, he rushes to his room.

Ortho finds out in aproximatively 0.01 secs once he sees his brother. He is just as curious and the 2 realise very fast how the basics of it works. As such, they discover pretty fast the notion of half and full transformations. Idia tries to opte for halfs most times since at NRC magic is pretty important, including in conflicts. And since the Shrouds have very weak magic overall, complementing it with a half transformation only brings benefits. Idia uses a few times pesky dust to spy around, mostly since it gets easily passed off as just another fairy roaming the halls with some sort of job.

No one figures it out that Idia has something changed. He's still a shut in, he still wears baggy sleeves and he still is absolute shit at PE. Yet his omnitrix does recalibrate and turns into a fingerless glove, which that may gain a few eyebrow raises but nothing to not swipe under the 'he got hyped about some game/anime again' carpet.

For his villains of the week, Idia is very versatile because he actually takes time to think through. Chapter 6 tho, is when emotions get the best of him. He tries to use his power to try and save Ortho from the overBlot, but not only he fails(he doesn't overBlot), his secret got exposed and he is only left with Ortho's memory card and the fact that he failed one of his most important missions up until now. It's just a very important point for Idia as he learns to cope again with his failures and tries to just be better in general.

Hi hello Tumblr, long time no see, I haven’t been here for who knows how long, anyways I’ll cut straight to the reason I came back to post this thing and will dip again.

So let’s talk about Belos.

Ever since episode 1 of the 3rd season of The Owl House has aired, I had this theory in my head that just clicked right for me. And it is regarding our behated villain, Emperor Belos. 

So, from what we know about the Wittebane brothers is that they arrived in Boiling Isles after being lured by a witch, Evelyn, who in the end made Caleb fall in love with her as well as she fell for him and the two married and were to have children when Philip attacked and killed his brother and began his journey to become a supposedly immortal dictator ruling over the civilization on Titan’s body. We get the gist of what occurred during the events presented to us in Hollow Mind, in Belos’ memories, but there’s still a lot of questions that might be crucial for us to get a clear picture what happened at the time the brothers were in the realm by themselves.

Where did the curse Belos was trying so desperately to control came from? Where the brothers inseparable at all times since they first arrived in Boiling Isles? If so, why didn’t Philip do something about his brother marrying a witch way earlier? What actually lead to Philip taking such a drastic turn and killing his only familiar in the unknown land? His hatred for witches or something none of us really payed attention to?

Answering the 2nd question - No, I don’t think that Philip and Caleb stayed together from the moment they arrived in Boiling Isles. And I think two of the portraits in Belos’ memories could back up my theory.

In here we can see the moment Caleb was lured into the unknown by a witch and Philip (still looking like a teen/late teen at most) followed after them (pic on the left) and then Philip (seemingly a late teen or young adult) standing alone in front of the Isles, either already exploring them or about to explore them.

The brothers weren’t together through their first years in Boiling Isles, they might’ve entered the portal at same/similar times, but they didn’t travel them together.

What I think happened was Caleb started meeting with Evelyn, trying to keep it a secret from his brother and people in their village. Possibly he didn’t feel like he belonged in the witch hunting thing going on and opposed it in secret, so when he met Evelyn and started hanging out with her, he started feeling at home. Philip caught wind of something not being right with Caleb and followed him one day, only to find him following the witch to the graveyard where the original portal was and (maybe) where the two lovers would easily meet, in a place no one could spot them.

Once Caleb entered the portal, Philip checked it out himself and went in soon after, or he returned home, wrote a note about what happened, gathered some stuff he’d need to save his only family and then run through the portal himself. Both possibilities seem fairly probably

Now, once he arrived in Boiling Isles, there obviously was no sight of his brother or the witch who “kidnap” him. But Philip wouldn’t give up started searching for them, simultaneously exploring the new place he was sent to. That’s when he began writing down his journal and documenting everything he experienced in it.

He was young, so maybe that new place fascinated him so much that he started to doubt his previous hateful beliefs on witches, since they were able to live in such beautiful but dangerous place.

But somewhere along those lines, he came across the goo that would be not only his, but also many, many others’ demise.

Why goo though? Wasn’t what he was going through a curse of some kind?

Maybe, maybe not, but from what I gathered, the thing that Belos was in the episode doesn’t feel like a curse to me. Just look at how Hunter could be easily controlled by it just because he came in a contact with it. It infested him, ate him away and took over control of his body to the point that once it left, our boy was basically dead. If getting in contact with it ends up in it being able to completely take over you and kill you in a matter of days, what was it able to do in a span of centuries?

This is how i think it went: Philip was exploring the Isles for a few years now and hoping that soon enough he’ll come across his brother, who he haven’t seen since the day he ventured after him into this foreign land. He stumbled into a weird place and immediately started to describe it in his notebook, when he started feeling very uneasy about the place, as if something was watching his every move from every angle of the place and preparing for when to strangle him when he least expects it. He left the place as soon as he could, thinking that he’ll feel better once he’s far from there, but when the feeling wasn’t going away he started to get concerned. He didn’t know that the supposed water droplet that landed on him while he was still in that place would be what he’ll become in few years, maybe even just months.

I think that goo was a sort of parasite, that once it gets in contact with the targets slowly but surely takes over them and plays them for it’s own benefit. A bonus could be if it was super effective with non-witches, as they didn’t have as strong immunity to the parasite as ones who have the magic organ patches to their heart from their birth. Which would explain why Hunter got possessed by it so quickly.

The parasite was very present in Philips body and he could feel it inside of him, but he didn’t know how he could possibly deal with it since he never came across something like that. So he lived with it as it began to appear as a voice in his mind, pursuing his put-aside hatred for witches and manipulating his memories, feelings and beliefs in a way, that would make Philip unpredictable and murderous, killing the last bits of goodness in him.

Now, the goo didn’t kill him that quickly, it would need more time and power before it would be able to fully overtake him. Philip used palismans to feed the beast, or maybe to maintain it? Like, the monster in it’s real form was an aggressive being who would murder anything that came across it, so to keep it under control, Philip began hunting for either lost or left behind palismans, which when killed could give the goo sustenance and calm it down, so he could manage to maintain control for a little while.

I don’t think that Philip ever actually regained control due to that method, I think the goo just made him think he did to keep him from resisting it, while it already had full control over it.

And now we get to the reunion of the brothers.

Philip finally came across the main city in Boiling Isles, but preferred to keep away from it as he despised the witches very deeply at that point and didn’t wish to get close to them. And then, he witnessed unspeakable:

His own brother, mingling with the witch that lured him there in the first place. This was the first time he saw him since the moment they were separated and what did his brother do over that while? He married a witch and expected a baby with her. That most absolutely enraged Philip and powered by the goo he decided to try and get what even happened out of his brother and possibly take him back home, as he planned from the start. 

To his surprise, Caleb welcomed him very happily when he saw him after all those years, even when Philip scared him half to death. He even hugged his brother when goo was overtaking him, which might’ve been a reason as to why Philip carved glyphs into his arms (he probably knew of them well already), to protect himself as much as he could from the goo. The embrace of his brother brought him back for a while, which was enough for him to see that what the monster was making him do was terrible.

But he wasn’t strong enough to put the stop to monster taking over his body, so in the end, furious about Philip possibly finding a cure for it if he were to take the control again thanks to his brothers’ help, the goo decided to kill him and make Philip the enemy of Clawthorn home. 

I think only after that situation did Philip carved protection glyphs onto his arms, and maybe whole body, and I don’t know whether those glyphs working was a cost of palismans life or was it to tame the goo, but it didn’t work and Philip succumbed to being a puppet of a monster.

What happened afterwards is more clear to us, Philip gave away his notebook, started searching for a way back home and eventually became what everyone knew him as ‘til the end of his rule - Emperor Belos. I assume that somewhere in between all these he tried to play god and resurrect his brother, but to no avail, so he made grimwalkers in his image.

Look at all the paintings, they all seem haggard and in most cases almost destroyed and I think that it might be due to the goo as well.

See, there’s no way that Philip’s body would be able to stay intact for all eternity, his oldest human form seems to be staying in the time where he was 40-50 or bit older. Even if palismans had the ability to make someone appear younger or keep them alive for longer, I doubt that even with that the person would be able to stay alive for hundreds of years more than they were supposed to. So I’m pretty sure that Philip we knew of died not long after or maybe possibly before he killed his brother. He has been constantly consumed and exhausted by the parasite he couldn’t get rid of, so it was natural for him to eventually pass away. But unlike our parasites, this one wouldn’t leave its feeder’s body even when there was no use of it anymore - well, there actually was use of Philip’s corpse or at very least his appearance, voice, beliefs, partially personality and way of being.

Basically, the goo took Philip’s appearance and everything else and made it its own, with the last thing of actual Philip left in that monstrous body were his very own memories that kept the last sense of him alive, although they were fading away.

Why would the goo keep these memories once it created its own as Belos? The fact that Philip’s consciousness was still somewhere there in Belos’ mind could be an explanation to that.

Now, just because Philip was controlled by the goo into being the monster and dictator he was, doesn’t mean that he back when he was himself wasn’t a bad person as well. He was a part of witch trails after all and he brought many, possibly innocent people to death and I have a suspicion that he was naturally skilled in manipulation, which would make sense if that also was what the goo focused on and mastered over the time it resided in Philip.

Alright, so, I don’t know if anyone else made such a connection or had the same theory as me and if I’m original or not, or if this makes any sense, but it’s been sitting in my head for months now and I had to let it out somewhere. If something seems unclear I’m up for discussion.

"you're kidding!" you groaned, watching your majestic owl flap it's wings on sanha's shoulder.

"you're literally 10, shut up." you said, walking towards him to take your owl.

it gladly went back to you, sanha pouted as it did.

"even if you see me as a 10 year old, a bet is a bet! 10 year olds can make bets you know!" sanha argued.

"fine. what do you want?"

"teach me how to play quidditch! i made a bet with rocky hyung who also totally sucks at quidditch." sanha smirked.

"you and your brothers must be extremely addicted to bets..." you sighed, sanha's eyebrows furrowing at the statement you made.

"that doesn't matter! just teach me how to play!" sanha stomped his feet, like a child.

a smile threatened to appear and break your poker face. you tried to stop yourself from smiling by handing the broomstick to the tall being. sanha gives a soft 'thank you', before taking it, with extra care.

"okay, so you know how to ride a broomstick at least, right? unless... you didn't listen during our first year." you looked at him, and he simply gave you a smile.

"you're kidding. hufflepuffs really suck at quidditch don't they?"

"not all hufflepuffs!"..... "well, i'll admit that 90% of us are horrible at the game, but at least we try!"

you laughed at his attempt to defend his house.

a week finally passes, another week left to go.

you laughed with him, not noticing sanha floating in the air infront of you.

"oh, sanha!" you said, walking towards him.

"y/n, it's about to start... i'm very nervous." he sighed.

you go down to visit sanha. who was currently sitting town.

"sanha, you okay?" you towered above him.

"yes? no... uh, i don't know?" he said, avoiding eye contact.

"god, i distracted you didn't i?" you frowned. "i shouldn't have kissed you..." you whined.

you heard whispers coming from one of the isles, the whispers sounding like sanha's annoying voice which you liked so much.

you slowly walked to the isle, to find sanha with his hyung, jinjin.

"well you should've watched the game to see what happened!" sanha complained.

"so you just basically... ran away?" jinwoo teased him.

"yeah..."

"well, go back and find her you stupid boy!" jinjin scolded, pushing sanha to leave.

"o-okay..."

"i don't he'll be needing to find me." you popped out, smiling.

sanha froze when he saw you.

"come here sanha."

he looked at his hyung, scared.

"just go..." jinwoo rolled his eyes.

sanha walked to you, looking at your face to find any anger or any negative emotions in your expressions.

"why'd you run away?" you asked him.

"i... i just didn't want to be rejected."

"rejected? you didn't even get to hear my response!" you whispered in an annoyed tone.

"it's because, i realized that it was the extremely worst timing since m-hyung came back..." he pouted.

"yah! i'm totally totally over him!" you said, making sanha feel relieved.

"why would i kiss your cheek if i didn't like you?" you mumbled.

"y-you like me?" sanha's eyes widened.

"yes, for a while now... most of the time i just act annoyed with you because of the task, but i promise you, i'm actually super duper in love with you." you explained.

sanha was flabbergasted, he didn't know what to say. at all.

"oh... okay." he breathed.

"so?"

"oh... okay." he said once again, making you laugh.

you looked into his eyes, before going on your tiptoes, grabbing sanha's nape to make him bend down more.

you connect your lips with his, for a short second, before pulling away.

"oh." said sanha.

"is oh your favorite word now?" you giggled, still on your tiptoes, arms wrapped around his shoulder.

"i... i don't know." he smiled, before kissing you again.

NCT Dream, Grand Prize at the Seoul Music Awards… BTS wins 3 awards including best album award

Group NCT Dream lifted the grand prize trophy at the '32nd Seoul Music Awards'.

On the afternoon of the 19th, NCT Dream received the grand prize at the awards ceremony held at Case Po Dome, Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul, and expressed their feelings, "It is a great honor to be able to start this year with such a big award."

NCT Dream's Jeno expressed his gratitude, saying, "I am really grateful to Czennies (fandom name) who always support me" and "Let's grow together with NCT Dream."

NCT Dream released their 2nd regular album 'Glitch Mode' in March of last year, the repackaged album 'Beatbox' in May, and the winter album 'Candy' in December, and was actively engaged in activities.

Happy Fanfic Writer Appreciation Day~!

As per this post, today is a day for fanfic writer appreciation! So, I wanted to share some of my current fave fics🥰 (Since I’ve been on a Star Wars kick for a while, these will all be Star Wars.) As always, follow the rules: mind the tags and don’t like, don’t read <3 And if you read any of these, leave the authors a kudos & comment!

Without further ado, here’s some fic recs in no particular order:

1) look at me (with your eyes closed) by @maderilien Boba Fett/Din Djarin, Rated T, 120k+ words.

Aaaaah, this fic was delicious. A canon-divergence fic after season 2 episode 1, it follows Boba and Din as Boba goes in search of his ship (which was sold off rather than conveniently still in Jabba's Palace). It's got it all--Allies to Friends to Mutual Pining to Enemies to Lovers, adorable scenes with Grogu, action, angst, a happy ending! I loved the world-building in this, and the alternate story for Boba--especially in his personal journey. I highly recommend this one (and its prequel)!

2) Broken Threads by @sadiebwrites Din Djarin/Luke Skywalker, Rated T, 78k+ words.

Brooooo, this fic!!! Set in the immediate aftermath of RotJ, Luke is dealing with unforseen consequences from his torture aboard the 2nd Death Star, and Din is, as always, a bounty hunter whose conscience hits just in the nick of time. This is a fantastic read for OG trilogy fans (especially lovers of Luke & Leia), Fallen Order fans, and prequel-era Jedia fans (3 cheers for T'ra Saa everyone). A wonderful adventure and slow burn romance, I really recommend this one! I definitely cried, like, twice lol. (No worries, though, it's a happy ending.)

3) Hot for Teacher by @astrangebird Din Djarn/Cobb Vanth, Rated E, 40k+ words.

I started reading this because I love trans!Din and I also love Cobb Vanth, but then this fic just hit me with ROMANCE and FEELINGS and ugh, I adored it. Set in what I can only describe as a "sorta-modern, but definitely still Star Wars" AU, Din is a Tusken sign language professor and Cobb is the retired sheriff taking a class to fill his sudden free time after an injury. It's a wonderful story with a somewhat messy romance and happy ending, I highly recommend!

4) hunting toward heartstill by @blackkatmagic Mace Windu/Cody (Main), Rated M, 207k+ words.

Okay, this one is basically a fandom must-read at this point, right? Mace/Cody may be a rarepair, but it's No.1 in my heart thanks to this fic. Not only does it have the ultimate "Fake Relationship/Married" trope (with possibly THE most romantic marriage vows ever), it has some real edge-of-your-seat action and turn-you-to-goo romance. Multiple plot lines are masterfully woven together into a very satisfying end (of the story, and the Clone War). Cannot rec this one enough!

5) Now Comes The Tide by @purplesauris Din Djarin/Luke Skywalker, Rated E, 9k+ words.

An absolute banger, I love this fic. It's mostly porn, with a sprinkling of romance and Force sensitive!Din, and also features trans!Din (a personal fave), armor sex, and inappropriate use of the Force (a classic). I loved Luke and Din's chemistry in this fic, and the sex scenes are wonderfully steamy~ I highly recommend this one!

6) The Abyssal Plain by @lyresnake Obi-Wan Kenobi/Darth Maul, Rated E, 25k+ words.

Obi/Maul is a messy fave of mine, they're just so much fun and this fic really demonstrates that. Maul is in his trash planet years when Obi-Wan crash lands and ends up in a very uncivilized situation lol. I loved how this fic portrayed Maul and his entire mess, but also the mess that is Obi-Wan Kenobi. It built a fascinating romance between the two, striking a balance between them that I found really interesting and engaging. Definitely my fave Obi/Maul fic <3

7) A Slow Fall Towards Grace by @glimmerglanger Obi-Wan Kenobi/Cody, Rated E, 116k+ words.

If you're like me, then you really enjoy seeing Obi-Wan suffer lmao, and this is definitely the fic for you (don't worry, it's got a happy ending, too!). In what I can only describe as Obi-Wan's disastrous journey to love, this fic follows Obi-Wan throughout his life to the end of the Clone War in an A/B/O AU. This fic features some heavy stuff, but it has a satisfying ending and possibly one of my favorite scenes ever in a fic (idk what it was about that birth scene in chapter 5, but the Drama really grabbed me by the throat lol). Really recommend this fic for angst and A/B/O lovers, this one's def for you!

8) Beekeeping and Husbandry by @meggory84 Qui-Gon Jinn/Obi-Wan Kenobi, Rated M, 135k+ words.

Y'aaaaall this fic. Is. So. Good. I loved the disability rep in this fic, and the whole portrayal of Qui-Gon is probably my favorite of any fics I've read. Heavy on the deep dive on Qui-Gon's character, this fic follows an alternate ending AU of TPM where Obi-Wan "heals" Qui-Gon and Mace gets a terrible vision of the future (aka, he sees everything leading up to his death). Usually with time travel / full-vision of the future AUs, we see things from the POV of the character with all the information trying to save the day--but not in this AU! And I loved that, it made things so interesting. Cannot recommend this one enough!

9) A Safe Haven by @hixystix Alexsandr Kallus/Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios, Rated E, 146k+ words.

Listen, if you're even a little bit of a KalluZeb shipper, or even just a Kallus fan, I cannot recommend this fic enough. Following Kallus's rescue above Atollon, this fic follows Zeb and Kallus through the rebellion and after as they find themselves and each other. I loved Kallus's character development in this, and the world building of life in the rebellion, especially for an ex-Imperial like Kallus. This fic really takes you on an emotional rollercoaster, but the ending is very worth it (and the sex scenes... those are also worth it. Woof.).

10) How the Other Half Lives (series) by @reedroad Luke Skywalker & Leia Organa (Main), Rated G to T, 660+k words (on-going).

Do I even have the words to describe this series? I'm literally in love. An AU in which Leia goes to the Lars' on Tatooine and Luke to the Organa's on Alderaan, this fic follows the two from childhood through AU-versions of the OG trilogy, and heavily features Ahsoka Tano and Ezra Bridger. What the author does with their world-building and characterizations is just *chef's kiss* perfection. My absolute favorite iteration of Prince Luke Organa and Leia Skywalker with a killer depiction of Darth Vader and Han Solo, this fic has everything you could possibly want in a role-swap AU.

11) Reconstruction Corps AU (series) by @cacodaemonia Waxer/Boil (Main), Rated G to E, 518k+ words (on-going).

Once again, I'm in love. Not only is cacodaemonia an incredible artist with much of their art featuring in this series, their writing honestly takes my breath away. The sheer depth of emotion in this series!!! If you're a clone fan, I literally cannot rec this series enough. I've laughed, I've cried (a lot), I've rolled around in bed like a happy rolypoly, it truly evokes the full range of emotions lol. Mostly following Waxer and Boil throughout the War and after, this series is just such a heartfelt love letter to the clones and the Star Wars universe itself.

12) a simple thing by @ryehouses Boba Fett/Din Djarin, Rated E, 700k+ words (on-going)

Originally, I put off reading this fic cause it was just so damn long. And then I started reading it... and didn't stop for, like, a week. This is just one of those fics that you cannot put down. An incredible deep dive on Din Djarin's character, this fic features fantastic world-building (especially for Tatooine), a very well-written BDSM relationship, an exploration of "religious"/cultural trauma and recovery, and a nuanced look at Mandalorian culture and politics. This fic has one of my fave portrayals of both Din and Boba, and I just cannot recommend it enough.

13) Why Not's and How To's by @trixree Obi-Wan Kenobi/Darth Maul, Obi-Wan Kenobi/Clone Troopers, Rated E, 54k+ words (on-going).

Honestly, all I needed to know about this fic was that it’s a “Legally Blonde AU” and I was SOLD. While not following the plot of Legally Blonde, Obi-Wan definitely carries the energy of Elle Woods in this fic. In an AU where Obi-Wan left the Jedi on Melidaan and eventually becomes a lawyer and Darth Maul is never cut down on Naboo (and picks up Anakin along the way), this fic follows both the build-up of Maul and Obi-Wan’s relationship and also Obi-Wan’s attempt to help the clones gain their rights in the Republic. This fic is very fun, and takes an interesting approach to the whole “fixing the Star Wars” fic plot.

14) efface the footprints in the sands by @blackkatmagic Rex/Agen Kolar/Kix, Rated M, 78k+ words (on-going).

🥺🥺Efface the footprints, my love… Not even finished, and already a comfort fic for me, this fic follows Agen Kolar as he takes over Anakin’s battalion when Anakin faces charges for his slaughter of the Tuskens. He must not only deal with a distraught Captain and Padawan, but a mysterious and dangerous creature lurking in the deep. I love the hurt/comfort in this fic, and the whole atmosphere of the planet and characters really lends itself to the drama of it all. Cannot rec this one enough!!

Who supported Octavian?

Looking for more? Here's my master list of Octavian analysis.

We know that Octavian had enough support in the legion concievably get elected praetor. Then, enough support to force Reyna's hand and pursue the Seven.

But it's never state who those people are (except Michael). So I've decided to go through and see if I can work out some possible supporters.

Let's start with minor characters:

Michael Kahale - Supporter

Duh.

Michael is an easy one. He's introduced in Blood of Olympus but he's probably one of Octavian's "bodyguards" prior to that. He's centurion of the First and Reyna describes him as "very loyal". Octavian is also his sponsor (a translation of "patron" I'm assuming).

Larry & Hank - Supporters

Larry: Second Cohort, Senator & Centurion | Later: Third Cohort, Senator

Hank: Third Cohort, Senator & Centurion

I'll mention these two together. In Son of Neptune, they are seated next each other at the Senate meeting. Hank raises an objection about the Fifth Cohort taking on the quest.

Larry then seconds the comment. It's possible, even likely, that Octavian prepped them both beforehand. They are acting in accordance to Octavian's agenda. See my theory regarding that.

We see nothing of Hank post this point, and it's possible he died at Camp Half Blood. Or against the zombie army.

As for Larry, his position is interesting. When we see him again in Tyrant's Tomb, he's still a Senator, but he's now a member of the Third Cohort.

A different senator raised his hand. 'Uh, Senator Larry here, Third Cohort, son of Mercury. [...]"

It’s possible Reyna redistributed Octavian’s supporters into the various Cohorts to reduce their strength and allegiance. Legionaries still listen to his commands. This either means that he's now centurion of the Third Cohort or, possibly, he simply still has their loyalty.

Meg stumbled to my side, breathing hard, her swords glistening with monster goo. “Hey, Larry. How’s it going?”

“Terrible!” Larry sounded delighted. “Carl, Reza—escort these two to Praetor Zhang immediately.”

“YESSIR!” Our escorts hustled us off toward the Caldecott Tunnel, while behind us, Larry called his troops back to action: “Come on, legionnaires! We’ve drilled for this. We’ve got this!” [The Tyrant’s Tomb]

He calls himself "Senator Larry", not "centurion". And while he can be striped of his centurion position during the transfer. He can't be stripe of his position of Senator, since it's an elected post. And senators hold the role for a year.

[side note: he seems to be pretty gleeful when it comes to battle - so he wouldn't be against the war]

There's another point:

[Larry speaking] "So, when you say help, do you mean like ... battalions of gods charging down here in their chariots, or more like the gods just giving us their blessing, like, Hey, good luck with that, legion!?' [The Tyrant’s Tomb]

I’m going to take the word ‘blessing’ and run with it. Octavian was given Apollo’s ‘blessing’ and ended up dying. So Larry is very hesitant to support Apollo here. He's been there, done that.

[Remember Frank also got a blessing, from Mars, but Larry's doubt aligns more with Octavian's failure]

Dakota - Neutral

Dakota is an interesting one. I think he's ultimately neutral and has loyal to both Octavian and Reyna. Note, just because he might support Octavian doesn't mean they necessarily he didn't support Reyna. The two of them are ostensibly working together, and its only right at the end of Blood of Olympus when the legionaries have to choose one or the other. (Obviously Dakota chooses Reyna)

“I was just lucky to find Hazel… in New Orleans, I mean.”

Dakota grunted. “Unless you believe the rumours. Not saying that I do.”

“Rumours?” Percy asked. [Son of Neptune]

Here: Dakota has heard the rumours, the same ones related to Octavian’s blackmail. He even brings them up.

Dakota is then seen fighting against the Seven in Mark of Athena. He is mentioned by name - which is important. It means he's an active participant in this scenario, rather than a by-stander. He's dispatched rather easily.

Jason stood about fifty yards away, sword-fighting with a stocky centurion whoe lips were stained cherry red, like blood. A wannabe vampire, or maybe a KoolAid freak?

As Annabeth watched, Jason yelled, "Sorry about this, Dakota!"

Onto Blood of Olympus,

“We are at war,” Michael said. “We have to pull together. Dakota and Leila have not been the most enthusiastic supporters. Octavian have them this one last chance to prove themselves. If they help me bring you in – preferably alive, but dead if necessary – then they keep their rank and prove their loyalty.” [BOO]

This reasoning seems odd to me. Octavian might have sent them because he believed Reyna would respond to them to best. Reyna seems to have a good opinion of all three emissaries. But he also had to be under the belief that at least 2 out of 3 of them would be loyal enough to bring Reyna back to the legion. To actually try and sway her. Octavian knows Reyna's influence.

And while Leila is firmly in the anti-Octavian camp. I don't think Dakota necessarily was.

“Yeah.” Dakota nodded vigorously. “The legion’s not nearly as united as Michael claimed. We don’t trust all the auxilia forces Octavian has gathered.” [Blood of Olympus]

From the perspective of Dakota, he needs to show his loyalty to Reyna. He has just betrayed Octavian, who he has been supporting on the front lines previously (Mark of Athena). He must convince Reyna that he has been "on her side" since the beginning.

But, we can see that Dakota isn’t actually fully onboard a little later...

“We’ll need a distraction,” Reyna said. “Something to delay the attack on Camp Half-Blood and preferably put those weapons out of commission. Dakota, Leila, will your cohorts follow you?”

“I – I think so, yes,” Dakota said. “But if we ask them to commit treason–”

“It isn’t treason,” Leila said. “Not if we’re acting on direct orders from our praetor. And Reyna is still praetor.” [Blood of Olympus]

Dakota is still thinking in a way that shows he’s loyal to both sides. He’s chosen to follow Reyna, but unlike Leila, he’s not all in.

“Alright, but I’m not hurting any of my fellow legionnaires.”

“No one’s asking you to,” Nico growled. “But if we don’t stop this war the entire legion will be wiped out. You said the monster tribes take insult easily?” [Blood of Olympus]

Dakota and Nico are actually arguing over this. I believe Dakota includes Octavian in this ‘fellow legionnaires’.

But also, Dakota and Leila’s actions directly result in the deaths of several members of their cohorts. Recall, Octavian’s plans involved no Roman deaths. And we know that the monsters aren’t actually that bad.

So I can’t help but think, post the battle, Dakota felt guilty about his actions yet couldn’t air that. Not that he wanted the Greeks to die, but did he do the right thing? Could he have avoided those deaths somehow?

I believe Dakota didn’t intend for Octavian to die in the battle. He included Octavian in his "my fellow legionnaires". But Octavian ended up dying. And Nico was there. The person Dakota trusted with the other side of the plan.

Finally, Dakota, long-time centurion of the Fifth Legion, had died overnight from wounds he received fighting in the city.

Dakota served a long time as centurion. He likely remembered a time when Jason, Reyna and Octavian worked together as allies and friends.

So, for me, Dakota is a character who was suddenly thrust into a messy divorce between Reyna and Octavian, not knowing which side to take. Feeling guilty regardless. And later succumbing to an addiction as a coping mechanism.

Summary

Anyway, outside of the "neutral" Dakota. Octavian seems to have had the First, Second, and Third Cohorts in his pocket. Our main characters hail from the Fifth, so we get their perspective, which is one of hatred and distrust. But for at least half the legion, Octavian is someone they are willing to back.

[We obviously don't know their motivations for doing this]

"...That." It sounded like Charles shifted in his seat. "You better fix up that behavior, boy. It may be good for fighting, but it's important that when you do professional work, you keep it formal."

His words just made James roll his eyes. "Uh-huh."

"I'm serious. That attitude will cause you problems in the long run."

"What about Goo? That guy's even more eccentric than me. I don't see you complaining about him."

"Because he is impossible to keep under control. You, however, are not." Charles sighed, and James was pretty sure he was facepalming at the moment. "I can actually see you growing up to be a mature, respectable man, but not him."

"Alright, is that all? For real, this time?"

Another sigh from the middle aged man. "Yes--"

The sight of you walking down the hallway through the door's window screen immediately caught James's attention. He muttered about how he wasted too much time in this phone call with Charles before hanging up after a quick goodbye.

He was intending on dropping by your classroom earlier, but got occupied and now you were leaving. He wanted to take whatever chance he could to talk to you so he rushed out of the classroom and smoothly caught up to you.

"Hello there," he greeted with a toothy grin.

"Oh, hi." You stopped in your tracks, appearing only mildly surprised. "James... right?"

If this were a comedy show, the sound of glass breaking would play to express James's initial reaction. But at the same time, this was what he loved about you. He knew you would never chase after him for attention just because of his talents, but the downside was... you didn't really know him at all. Somehow.

He planned to change that.

"Yes, I'm James Lee. You're..." He pretended to think for a moment before saying your name, beginning to smirk.

You nodded, smiling a bit. "Did you need me for something?"

"Oh, just a little bit of your time." James tilted his head, almost innocently. "Do you mind?"

"Not at all."

"Good. Let me start by asking you a question." He slipped an arm around your shoulders and leaned in a bit, still smirking. "What's your ideal type of lover?"

Some years into the future...

"Hey, babe." You poked at your boyfriend's cheek, your other hand still busy playing with his soft, pink hair while he was resting his head on your lap.

"Hm?"

"Do you remember our middle-schooler days?"

Just the mention of the past made James grimace. You laughed at his expression and he muttered with slightly red cheeks, "Please... don't talk about it."

nothing’s fair in love and war - Oryx & Savathûn. One of my most recent children, born from that one Wellspring quote and figured out over the sandwich table. It has all the good stuff--Books of Sorrow, sibling swordfight, the inevitability of fate, and even a theme song that I’m still unwell about the lyrics of! It was such a pained delight to write, because prior to WQ we hadn’t really hadmuch insight on Savathun’s relationship with her brother, then we suddenly got the statue, the Temple, and of course the quote I could not shake for days upon hearing. By far my favourite thing in this fic is the affectionate holding your sibling at knifepoint and laughing, that viscerality of steel on skin, that plainless of love at the edge of a blade.

Visions of Confluence - first VoG fireteam. This was a very fun exercise written for last summer’s Project Exodus challenge. I liked playing with the repetitions and switching details, going for that eerie feel of ‘it’s almost the same but slightly off kilter, there’s another set of footsteps next to mine but I remember only coming here alone’, glass refracting time like beams of light. Plus, Alemyr!

Blood - Asher & Eris. A Destcember prompt I really went to town with. It’s soft, it’s bittersweet, it’s fragments strewn across time with a quote from Landscape slapped onto the label, it’s found family in the literal sense.

Cats and Dogs - Drifter & Eris. Oh, this was my folly born from the idea of “could there technically be Hive who escaped the fate of having a worm put inside them?” and instead of writing some serious speculative fiction I wrote... this. Again, all the good stuff--humour! bickering coworkers! cute small creatures! yellow Hive goo! This is one of my very few bright & happy fics, and even here I managed to slip a bit of Eris’ PTSD.

Blooming gardens - Another Destcember prompt that’s so niche and weird probably like five people have ever read it, and it holds a special place in my heart because here I went so off the hook with my Afterlife In Destiny, Actually theory (plus: first recorded mention of the Song of Life in my fic!). I’m thinking about revamping it, maybe changing the pov to 2nd person, now that I’ve been playing around with more Traveler/Gardener stuff. Though it was really hard to pick a favourite out of that year’s prompt set (Heresy and Roses & Thorns are so very dear to me too), this one is definitely the most special.

The last scene was very awkward for me but my grandpa seemed on board but my granny was red faced.
