I know that logically Draxum probably got away with making the mutagen and oozequitos because he was very careful about hiding his research and whatnot, but the much funnier explanation is that he's already so weird that when he rolled up to an academic conference two months after his lab exploded the first time with his 200 page paper on how he's going to bioengineer mosquitos to be the size of his hand (without giving a single reason as to why he wants to do this), the most he was met with was maybe a few raised eyebrows and a couple people wondering how he still gets grant money

There is no way he is walking through the door and telling your parents that his second name is Lucilfer. But that's not even the problem. The problem is how in the name of all things holy did you come to know a man. A male specimen out of all the unholy things in this land and let him into your house to meet your parents.

If the excessive interrogating wasn't enough, the taunts that you're outside and being friends with men like it's no big deal are enough to warrant a month full of therapy to undo the damage to your psyche.

The arranged marriage culture would honestly baffle him. Chrollo doesn't understand why people would weigh such superficial and shallow traits so heavily when searching for a partner. It certainly doesn't sit right with him either when he's rejected by your parents for not being as cultural as them. He has money and he cares for you. Isn't that what's supposed to matter?

Chrollo doesn't see the point in keeping up such exhaustive appearances of being religious, pious and adhering to cultural values so he takes the easy route: making you disappear. Despite his initial dislike of what he called restrictive values, he has no problems with using them against you. It's true that you're only supposed to reveal yourself without hesitation to your husband, and he's the only man- er, human - left in your life. Isn't that a wonderful coincidence?

Just finished reading Sunlight Left Me by @vivificanousprime (go read it it’s good) and i love it so much that it hurts. I feel so bad for Soundwave. He watched his friend fall in and out of love and the way that each time Megatron gets worse is just UUGGHH (/lh). Also this quote,

“In the end, he admitted to himself that the friend he'd loved died in that arena, screaming for the mech greying in his arms. All that proceeded was the fantasy.

Shockwave, however, was real. Their love, their bond, their family were all real and infallible.”

This quote kills me. After the death of Terminus, Megatron kinds loses himself. Soundwave watchs this happen and must hurt to see his friend change so much. Soundwave stays at Megatron's side through it all. They are still friends but the old Megatron is long dead.

Shockwave must feel so stable to Soundwave. Shockwave is calm and predictable. Yes, Shockwave has changed but that was a long time ago. But current Shockwave is reliable. Like the quote says, Shockwave is real.

K wait so... Wally talks to a future version of Irey in The Flash #771. This is 20 years in the future (making Irey and Jai 29 years old and the new West baby ~19).

This is after the events of the flash forward in the One Minute War Special as Jai reunites with Lilly in that story and Jai is dating Lilly 20 years in the future. We don't have a time frame on how long Jai and Lilly have been dating or how long it took them to get together after their reunion so we can't estimate the One Minute War Special's place on the timeline just yet.

What we do know is that Jai and Irey seem to be 18+. Irey is the Flash in the One Minute War Special and is not Kid Flash, an alias we know she uses in her later teen years. I would say, at minimum, the OMW Special takes place 10 years in the future. Most likely it would be around 13-15 years however.

So why is this interesting? Well 29 y/o Irey is wearing her Kid Flash costume and ~25 y/o Irey is the Flash with her own Flash costume. Likewise 29 y/o Jai sports an orange and white costume whereas younger Jai rocks a cool red and black suit. I did think it was odd that an almost 30 y/o Irey West would still be Kid Flash, so it makes complete sense to me now that she was attempting to obscure the future. She didn't want her father to know anything about the future as this could impact the timeline. Wally already knew about Irey becoming Kid Flash as a teenager so this costume wasn't new to him.

Jai, I guess, just made up a new costume as a red herring? Or possibly, this orange costume will be what he wears as a teenager?

Another interesting thing is that the new West baby would be around 9-14 in the OMW special... the Fraction kidnaps speedsters specifically meaning he has powers.... and neither Jai nor Irey is Kid Flash..... I don't know about you guys but the fact that Irey's Kid Flash is most likely her little brother is just so cute. It's adorable.
