Isle kid Moodboards revamped part 4;

Blake Bohumil 'Big Murph' Murphy, the 23 year old son of Black Murphy and Ludmilla.

He is a member of the Anti-heroes Club and Harriet's crew.

He is very close to his mom but not very close to his dad who isn't a big fan of children.

He lost his eye while play fighting the Gaston twins when he was younger and has a glass eye that he likes to take out to mess with people.

He is very close to Marya Rasputin since her dad and his mom were allies behind the scenes, and he often translates for her and others when a language barrier pops up (which happens a lot since Russian isn't a very common language on the isle)

He likes cutting hair, playing cards, eating cake, fishing, learning languages, taking care of the little ones, reading, swimming with the sharks, building sandcastles, wrestling, play fighting, singing sea shanties, and learning about geographical differences and locations.

He also likes collecting hooks of any kind.

He is single.

Hayden 'Hadie' Prometheus Olympian, thr 10 year old (as of d3) son of Hades. Younger brother of Mal.

He is a member of the Anti-heroes club and a wannabe detective, musician, hero, and cook who is always imitating those he looks up to. Friend of Chloe Charming, Red Hearts, Danny Darling, Maddox Hatter, Shan Deja, Edith Olympian, and his minons.

He is playful and loves coloring, cooking, playing various instruments, baking, sword fighting, parkour, gymnastics, acrobatics, and playing with animals.

He has a villian streak no one takes seriously later in his teens and has a pet dog named 'Cerberus.'

He later gets together with Danny Darling.

Lefou Deux 'Lee' Leprince, the 20 year old son of LeFou, Paulette, and Stanley Beaumont (dude from the live action movie). He's the older brother of La Foux Doux Beaumont, the younger cousin of the Gaston twins, and the older cousin of Claire Bimbette, Gil LeGume, and Gemma LeGume.

He is apart of Harriet's crew.

He's a hardworking big brother who does his best to help support his family while still being stuck under Gaston's thumb.

He works at Gaston's 'Duels Without Rules—against his will, mind you, because Gaston forces him too after all. But he doesn't complain too much about it.

He gets to steal from the register though, so it's not too bad.

He fights with various gardening tools and a bow and arrow—he's an excellent shot. He's a poet, a toy maker, and an inventor who records everything in his journal.

He loves French food, sailing, farming, reading, and gardening—even though it's difficult to do anything like that on the isle.

He also loves old photos and dancing.

Lee often makes and fixes toys for the children on the isle, and has no problem fixing things for those he loves. He's also the secret Santa Claus of the isle.

He's been in love with Claudine Frollo since first grade and they get together not long after d3.

La Foux Doux Leprince, the 12 year old (as of d3) son of LeFou, Paulette, and Stanley Beaumont (dude from the live action movie). Younger brother of LeFou Deux, the older cousin of Gemma LeGume, and the younger cousin of the Gaston twins, Claire Bimbette, and Gil LeGume. Older brother of Sylvie Leprince.

He works at Gaston's 'Duels Without Rules'— again, without choice mind you. Gaston forces him too. He is a painfully shy, playful, quiet boy who loves French food, playing games, reading, and climbing things.

He is single and not interested at dating at the moment.

Crazy Bonny, the 18 and a half year old(by d3) daughter of Bill Jukes (in my universe).

Sword sharpener and medic of the Lost Revenge/Uma’s crew.

Bestfriend of Desiree.

Student at Serpent Prep and one of the first to join Uma’s pirate crew.

She is described as crazy in patched dungarees and a torn fishnet shirt.

Vicious Desiree, the 17 year old daughter of a witch and Shan Yu (in my universe anyway).

She is the swabbie of the crew, meaning she is the one in charge of mopping the deck.

She is described as tiny and vicious in a a ragged peasant dress.

She is Bonny's bestfriend and one of the first to join Uma’s crew, and she's a member at the witch school.

Firece Gonzo, the 19 year old son of an unknown woman and Joshamee Gibs (in my universe anyway).

He is Jonas' bestfriend and is the boatswain of the crew.

He is also responsible for stocking the pantry and refilling the chum buckets.

He and Jonas are the ones in charge of the food (they don't cook it tho) and supplies, among other things.

He is described to be firece and as having long braids, a red bandana, and blue pantaloons.

He, along with Gil, Harry, Jonas, Desiree, and Bonny, is one of the first to join Uma’s crew and student—or former student—at Serpent Prep.

Ferocious Jonas, the 20 year old son of Morgana Olympian and older cousin of Uma (in my universe).

He is the Quartermaster of Uma’s crew, the fourth in command, and the gunner (the one who mans the canons).

He's described to have a scar on his left cheek, corn rows, and a scarf. Has a thing with Jade in my universe. Has been seen selling scarves before which is probably a side job of his.

He's been described as ferocious. Student/former student at Serpent Prep and one of the first people to join Uma’s crew.

I'm making a Gil aesthetic and am wondering what you remember of him from the books?

I am going to share an excerpt from the book Rise of the isle of lost.

A noisy crowd had gathered around a certain table, where Gil and La Foux Doux had a pulse.

Gil, like his father and brothers, was manly, beefy and muscular, with plenty of muscles, and yes, even the last centimeter of him was covered with hair.

Okay, maybe not until the last centimeter, but Gil was one of the finest specimens on the Island of the Lost, with golden hair that he kept under his handkerchief and that characteristic cloven chin. He was wearing a leather doublet Faded that showed his arms, with two sword belts that intersected in his chest and jeans with leather patches ingeniously worn out in today’s “pirate” fashion.

At this time, Gil was doing what he loved to do: show his brute force to the ladies. He hit La Foux Doux’s arm on the table as a sign of victory, sending the beefy boy to the ground.

"¿What do we say?” Gil said.

“¡T-t thank you!” Said the young La Foux. “Thank you, Gil!”

Gil flexed so that he made two guns with his arms and pretended to kiss each one.

Also Gil is the only one with the patience and ability to build Uma's necklace.

He knows how to sew and is the captain of the lifting team (I don’t remember the name of the club well).

He is a great fighter.

I’m still working on the family tree thing I talked about in this post. But here are all of the descendants that is "official” part of this universe via book or series. 

Let’s first go over the over the where they can come from (I’m gonna put them in timeline order): Isle of the Lost: About how the rotten four became friends and basicly a closer look at the isle, you get introduces to a couple of the villain kids. School of Secrets (series): A series of small videos that is about a “mystery” girl (Lonnie) who sets up a hidden camera to capture Auradon Prep's secrets. there is 23 episodes each about 1 minute long, you can find them on Youtube. Descendants Wicked World: Short animated series, don’t know how to explain the plot shortly. There are 33 episodes, but each one is less than five minutes long, you can find them on youtube. School of Secrets (books): Haven’t read them yet, but they go together with Wicked World (used characters and references plots from it). Return to the Isle of the Lost: The second book in the Isle of the Lost series; The Rotten Four get weird messages that tell them to return home before the new moon.  Rise of the Isle of the Lost: The third book in the series; you get the story on Mal and Uma fall out. And how Uma got a ship and why Harry in her first mate. And there are of course also some story in Auradone going on. Descendants 2

Villian kids

Freddie Facilier is the daughter of Dr. Facilier (Princess and the Frog). She appears in Wicked World, she is also in the School of Secrets books and shortly in Return to the Isle of the Lost. Goes to Auradone Prep after Wicked World.

Calista Jane "CJ" Hook is the youngest child of Captain Hook (Peter Pan) and younger sister of Harriet Hook and Harry Hook. She appears in Wicked World and she is also in the School of Secrets books.

Harriet Hook is the eldest daughter of Captain Hook (Peter Pan) and older sister of Harry Hook and CJ Hook. She appears in The Isle of the Lost.

Sammy Smee is the son of Mr Smee first mate of Captain Hook. He appears in Isle of the Lost.

Harriet Hook's Crew are the children of the crew of Captain Hook. They appear in Isle of the Lost. 

Big Murph is the son of one of the members of Captain Hook's Pirate Crew. He appears in Isle of the Lost and Return to the Isle of the Lost. (He is not named until Return)

Anthony Tremaine is the son of Anastasia Tremaine (Cinderella); which makes him Lady Tremaine's grandson, nephew of Drizella Tremaine; cousin of Dizzy Tremaine, and that also makes him family of the charmings like he is the step-cousin to Chad Charming. He appears in the Isle of the Lost and Return to the Isle of the Lost.

The Evil Step-Granddaughters are the granddaughters of Lady Tremaine and the daughters of Anastasia and Drizella Tremaine. They are the cousins and sisters of Anthony Tremaine and Dizzy Tremaine.

Gaston Jr. and Gaston the Third is the twin sons of Gaston(Beauty and the Beast), Jr. the eldest of the two and they are older brothers to Gil. They appear in the Isle of the Lost and Return to the Isle of the Lost. 

LeFou Deux is the son of LeFou henchmen of Gaston. He appears in Isle of the Lost. In Rise of the Isle of the Lost somebody named “La Foux Doux” who hangs out with Gil, not sure who that is.

Mad Maddy is one of the granddaughters of Madam Mim (The Sword in the Stone). She appears in Return to the Isle of the Lost.

Granddaughters of Madam Mim. They appear the Isle of the Lost, and the only one there is talked more about is Mad Maddy.

Ginny Gothel the daughter of Mother Gothel (Tangled). She appears in The Isle of the Lost Return to the Isle of the Lost.

Zevon is the son of Yzma (The Emperor's New Groove) and the brother of Yzla. He appears in Wicked World.

Yzla is the daughter of Yzma and the sister of Zevon. She appears in the Isle of the Lost and Return to the Isle of the Lost.

Hadie is the son of Hades (Hercules). He appears in Return to the Isle of the Lost

Diego De Vil is Carlos De Vil's cousin, it’s not confirmed in canon but he is probably the son of Cecil B. De Vil; who is the brother of Cruella De Vil (101 Dalmatians). He appears in The Isle of the Lost, and Return to the Isle of the Lost.

Harold "Harry" Badun is the son of Horace Badun (101 Dalmatians), one of Cruella De Vil's henchmen. He is best friends with his cousin Jace. He appears in the Isle of the Lost, and Return to the Isle of the Lost.

Jason "Jace" Badun is the son of Jasper Badun, one of Cruella De Vil's henchmen. He is best friends with his cousin Harry. He appears in the Isle of the Lost, and Return to the Isle of the Lost.

Jade is Jay’s cousin, it’s not confirmed in canon but she is probably the daugther of Nasira; who is the sister of Jafar (Aladdin). She appears in Isle of the Lost.

Reza is a son of a former Royal Astronomer of Agrabah. He appears in Isle of the Lost.

Claudine Frollo is the daughter of Claude Frollo (The Hunchback of Notre Dame). She appears in Isle of the Lost and Return to the Isle of the Lost. 

Hermie Bing is the daughter of The Ringmaster (Dumbo). She appears in Return to the Isle of the Lost.

Clay Clayton is the son of Clayton (Tarzan). He appears in Isle of the Lost.

Eddie Balthazar is the son of Edgar Balthazar (The Aristocats). He appears in Return to the Isle of the Lost.

Rick Ratcliffe is the son of Governor Ratcliffe (Pocahontas). He appears in Isle of the Lost.

The Sea Witches are the daughters and nieces of Ursula (The Little Mermaid) and Morgana, the sea witches; they are the sisters and cousins of Uma. They appear in The Isle of the Lost.

Auradon kids

Jordan is the daughter of Genie (Aladdin). She appears in Wicked World and shortly in Return to the Isle of the Lost.

Ally is the daughter of Alice (Alice in Wonderland). She appears in Wicked World, she is also in the School of Secrets books and shortly in Return to the Isle of the Lost.

Arabella is one of the granddaughters of King Triton and a niece of Ariel (The Little Mermaid). She appears in Rise of the Isle of the Lost.

Aziz is the son of Aladdin and Jasmine. He appers in Isle of the Lost, Return to the Isle of the Lost and Rise of the Isle of the Lost. He was originally planned to appear in the movie but was cut out for unknown reasons.

Li’l Shang is the son of Fa Mulan and Li Shang and is the older brother of Lonnie. He appears in Rise of the Isle of the Lost.

Herkie is the son of Hercules and Megara. He appears in Return to the Isle of the Lost and Rise of the Isle of the Lost.

Anxelin is the daughter of Rapunzel (Tangled) and Eugene Fitzherbert [aka Flynn Rider], and sister of Ruby. She appears in School of Secrets.

Ruby is the daughter of Rapunzel (Tangled) and Eugene Fitzherbert [aka Flynn Rider], and sister of Anxelin. She (well her hair) appears in Wicked World.

-  Anxelin who was a character to appeared only in School of Secret and then when Ruby was introduced, people were not sure whether this is meant to be Anxelin who has been renamed or as a sibling the Anxelin. Neither has been confirmed.

Gordon is the son of Grumpy (Snow White), nephew of the other dwarfs and cousin to Doug. He appears in Return to the Isle of the Lost.

Bashful Jr. is the son of Bashful, nephew of the other dwarfs and cousin to Doug. He appears in School of Secrets.

Sleepy Jr. is the son of Sleepy, nephew of the other dwarfs and cousin to Doug. He appears in School of Secrets.

Tiger Peony is the daughter of Tiger Lily (Peter Pan). She appears in Return to the Isle of the Lost.

Opal is the daughter of Mama Odie (Princess and the Frog). She apperas in one of the School of Secrets books.  

Artie is the son of King Arthur (The Sword in the Stone). He appears in Return to the Isle of the Lost. Unlike the other children from Auradon, he does not attend Auradon Prep and is about twelve years old.

personally i didn't like how uma treated gil.

So here’s the thing. You have to realize that Uma has a very different dynamic with Gil than she does with Harry. Harry has been at her side unfailingly, whereas at some point when they were younger Gil drifted away from the group to do his own thing. Not to mention Gil has the bad habit of speaking before thinking at times, which we saw in the movie (and was played up to make him look dumber than I feel he really is). 

In the book it’s explained that Gil only really went back because he remembered how inseparable he, Harry, and Uma were at one time and realized he missed them and because he wanted something more than just the mundane life he was living. (arm wrestling, bullying la foux doux, impressing  girls, etc.). Regardless of that, neither Harry nor Uma even questioned Gil coming back and simply welcomed him back into the fold. 

Beyond all of this, Gil played a very major part in getting the shards of Ursula’s necklace AND putting it together. He was the one that deciphered the code to tell them where to dig for the next clue, and he was the one that put a majority of the necklace together (Gil is probably the bomb dot com at crafts and putting things together and solving puzzles because Ursula’s necklace was literally in hundreds of shards and slivers). 

It was Harry and Gil that Uma trusted to handle helping put the necklace together, no one else. So she may not treat Gil the same way she treats Harry, but she trusts him and I personally believe she cares about him as well.

So now that I’ve said all that, let’s talk about the scenes in the movie before and after What’s My Name. 

First we have Gil off in his own little world, he’s supposed to be Uma’s left hand man so naturally when he’s off in la la land when everyone else is on team #fuqmal (no shade to mal i’m just recounting the scene) Uma is going to snap him back to reality. Secondly, he brings up the Mal incident where Uma was first told that she wasn’t good (or should i say bad?) enough to be in Mal’s crew. Clearly it’s a sensitive topic for Uma, especially considering Uma literally just got done dragging Mal for filth. Uma literally reaches out and stops Harry from doing anything. Then she tells Gil to stop talking afterwards. 

FINALLY, he calls her Shrimpy aka the one thing you do not call Uma under any circumstances. That name is literally a source of childhood trauma for Uma, and a reminder of how Mal betrayed and humiliated her on countless occasions. If anyone else would have called her that (in front of Harry no less) being put in time out like Gil was would not have been the punishment of choice. 

So yeah, Uma put Gil in time out but anyone else would have gotten so much worse and wouldn’t have been given as many chances to not talk so openly/bring up her childhood trauma. Not to mention despite this she still trusts him to have her back during It’s Going Down while Harry is occupied with Ben.
