Intrusive a hat in time related thoughts (and some headcanons, I tend to over think things lol).

What happens when you blow up a timepiece with C2 (C4 lite edition, used for door breaching) or any other small explosive device.

How does a Hat in Time's respawn work in-universe? Does time rewind when Hat Kid (or Bow Kid) is killed to before the event and they keep the memories? Or is it basically like the dead ringer from TF2 with it being rewinded a bit and the 'decloak' happens at or near the point of death? Or is it there is one attempt but the failed attempts are all in weird paralel universes or pocket dimensions.

How did Hat Kid remain sane during deathwish? My headcanon is that there is a dimension in between life and death which is basically a large bar floating around in the aether, this is managed by Master Tempus (well, her soul anyway) who had been freed when timeline 1 fell and timeline 2 began. Hat Kid must have met her.

How was Hat Kid able to access Puella's memories?

What was the Time War actually like, while I personally see it as some Warhammer 40k style, mud filled trench warfare hell others have their own interpretations, if you have any share them. Secondly was it a conflict for a single goal or were there multiple potential objectives the Founders Wanted, that is if they even initiated the conflict.

Sirius’ outfit is a wedding dress / wedding themed! I made this her motif because of her obsession with Petelgeuse and because of the whole ‘becoming one’ thing reminding me of marriage / wedding vows, stuff like that. I didn’t know whether to incorporate her bandages or not, and in the end decided against it + opted to just cover as much of her bare skin as possible like with the veil, sleeves, and purple fabric above the shoulders. I gave her a spiked collar and spiky halo-like hairpiece + put her hair in a ponytail (maybe that’s a little hard to tell ahaha) to give her kinda punkish elements to her, twisting the ‘purity’ of the wedding theme a bit to subtly reflect her instability (and because it looks cool). I didn’t want her to just have a regular old wedding dress cause I thought it would look kind of bland compared to the other magi designs, so I added some fire elements to her dress that I think turned out really well :) . I also had the genius idea to make her hooks double as weaponized wedding rings to go with the outfit’s aesthetic. Her hooks are connected together to also symbolize ‘becoming one’ / the unity of marriage, that sort of thing.

The authority from a wish doc says that her wish was for love / believes love is to become one, so her wish would grant her ‘soul-washing’ powers. Her abilities make her extremely dangerous to other magi…

Chapter 8: the Ruin of Calcite and adventure.

Chapter 8 is an au and headcanon infused chapter taking place a week after the events of the base game, Hat Kid's ship picks up an ancient distress signal coming from the planet which looks to be coming from a ruin located somewhere in the northern hemisphere. Upon further investigation it leads to a decently sized island town made out of calcium carbonate, problem is the town is almost completely deserted.

Hat Kid gets a call from the Conductor who had heard about the ruin from old family tales and has contacted an archeoligical firm ran by an old aquaintence of his (named George), the two meet up on the ruin and the firm sets straight to work. Hat Kid begins exploring the ruin and begins having deja vu, when she sleeps the memory walking dreams she has start getting clearer to the point that those in the dreams actually agknowlege her existance and can even interact with her.

It gets worse while during her adventure Hat Kid finds an old APC of unidentified design and nationality, following the process of getting it to the HQ they pry open the rear doors only to discover several weaponised umbrellas and a strage black top hat with a grey ribbon. The APC is bought into the HQ and a military vessel radios in to collect it for study, this vessel however is sunk in a storm with no survivors on the way there.

Hat Kid opens up about the nightmares she was having to the Conductor's mate who decides to give her a break and put her under Cooking Cat's care for a bit to recover, he radios the Conductor himself who agrees to this and states that he thinks the place should have never been found in the first place.

Meanwhile Hat Kid discovers that her can hold actual conversations with individuals in her dreams and considers seeing Snatcher about it, she eventually does and Snatcher believes half of her story. He visits the ruin to see what all the fuss is about (scaring everyone there in the process) and is deeply disturbed, like the Conductor he suggests leaving and never touching the place again but George stubbornly refuses.

A mysterious shadow creature attacks the camp and kills several labourers but is put down by Hat Kid using her Umbrella, in a tent George compares the umbrella with Hat Kid's and discovers that they are almost exactly the same internally. Snatcher makes him return Hat Kid's umbrella to her, two days later several military personal contracted by George arrive in order to guard the camp from anymore threats.

Paranoia begins to set in as several archeologists resign and leave the site, citing unsave working conditions and mistreatment by the horrific crunch times set by George. Hat Kid and the Conductor have taken to her spaceship and the Owl Express respectively with both becoming news relays, both refusing to go anywhere near the dig site. George goes offline for a bit before returning online three hours later stating that another Shadow attacked them but was fended off with small arms.

Eventually however the company's HR department begins getting concerned about conditions at the dig site and they begin an investigation into what is going on, staff, diggers and scientists begin going missing to which the Navy steps in and quarantines the island. Hat Kid lands back on the island and finds it almost completely abandoned, upon further exploration she confronts George who has gone completely off the deep end and the two fight.

This fight ends at the clocktower where George uses a ritual to summon tentacles to tare Hat Kid apart, the latter escapes by jumping from the tower into the sea but loses an arm and her timestop hat. Hat Kid is picked up by CASS Avia and is given medical treatment, she recieves news that George and the rest of the dig team are dead, the Conductor has ordered the site be abandoned and everything they have found will join the town in its radioactive grave as a hydrogen bomb is dropped on the ruin.

Three months later Hat Kid and the Conductor leave the hall set aside for the inquiry, the two head to their respective homes but while the Conductor's ordeal has finally ended Hat Kid's is not yet over. While she sleeps Hat Kid is pulled into a strange time rift, she lands on a complete reconstruction of the ruin with the only person still there is a mutated version of George and the two have a rematch. Hat Kid is able to defeat George and she wakes up. Hat Kid spots a female figure on the opposite end of her room and cautiously approaches, the figure turns and she discovers that it is a familiar but older looking face.

This individual is Lady Puella and she and Hat Kid sit down together and have a polite chat about things, the two discuss the ruin and Puella admits that she was among the founders of the City of Calcite and Adventure. Hat Kid asks about what the town was like the Puella explains the towns formation, Golden age and final destruction at the hands of Cavus, who Hat Kid killed. Puella thanks her for this and the two continue talking before Puella tucks Hat Kid into bed and puts her to sleep before leaving.

The inquiry places the blame solely on George, Hat Kid recieves a prosthetic limb and the dreams stop all together, the tales of timeline 1 are put to rest and Puella disapears. Ten years later Hat Adult finishes a book outlining the events of Timeline 1 and the history of the City of Calcite, this book is illustrated by Bow Kid and published by a local firm and it goes on to be a best seller.

The branch and behind it if the eye didn’t play tricks were many bricks or so does bk call them 

The graves of each traveler ,bk called them bricks  for it to be easier on her soul when mew was far younger, out of touch of the reality of the situation that slipped through the mistakes of time itself, all hopes for those souls to rest easy as the lotus grown within them filling them with its delightful scent

Bk set one foot down upon the bench as in a sense of a warrior looking at the graves as a battle field after war truly astonishing peace of mind handing euphoria in view, bk sure knew she needed a remark a place to start, living a dream wasn’t going to scratch it, as a cat scratching a surface it will ruin it to tiny bits and small atoms are hardly felt beneath cat paws but still leave a spark , even the greatest people were small till growing, meeting those with greater knowledge and learnt

Just like how bk was taught under cavum’s vision, mew should be far more than thankful to be able to question even to the useless bits as she sees them as important through mew’s violet eyes, having answers to most is better than having none at all, a blessing truly 

Harshly biting her tongue to get a hold, a sense of reality, maybe the lack of sleep was biting mew’s “tail”, bk rested her head on the bench, who cares if it’s clean or not ,if it fits then mew Rests bk curled up as sleep poised her, crumbling from mew’s brain to her entirety hiding the sun piece in the suffocating pocket for no eye to fall witness for such item mew took one last glimpse of the “hidden garden” that she surrounded mewself in, she sighed and eyes shut accepting the defeat of the smallest death

Reality and irreality collide and break the barriers of what is true and what not , after all that was the show for the conscious mind ,a story from the unconscious part of the brain to tell as a reminder or a warning 

Could be a reminder of what some may once had, could be a warning of what to come 

Those were dreams for mew, cats usually dream about their owners, she would usually dream about mew’s teacher someone whom she considered a guardian for the longest 

The shadow placed a book on the child’s head in a playful manner “now the information will transport to you!” He chuckled, the child tried rubbing the book against mew’s head to test the shadow’s words the shadow couldn’t help but laugh as he put the book away from the child’s reach, the child looked at him confused “ no no bk, if that is the way information is learnt then we wouldn’t need comparisons nor challenges” the shadow gave a pat on the child’s head, the child was leaning to curiosity about what he meant 

“But mr cavu-“ “please refer me as cavum or if you’d wish you can call me father since I do see of you as a dear daughter of mine.” The shadow reminded the child he may say it a thousand times and somehow will need to repeat it again but he never minded that, after all she was a young soul he must be gentle with such Fragile being

The memory became blurry once again as bk saw mew’s younger self as small paw prints of what she once was but still, The laughs, the tough and the rough realities and times may hunt mew but she’ll always remember simpler times.. those usually bring mew a since of comfort  , almost as faded paws on the snow still leading to somewhere , something, someone

As a petal descended from the high winds till the reach of bk’s nose, a soft sneeze due to the strong smell woke the light sleeper whom is also the keeper of the sun piece, bk got up from the bench and started to wonder around, the place didn’t have much to offer all these bricks.. or should be called for better wording graves and these lotus flowers leaning to whitish-pink in the light, bk sighed as mew looked at the sun piece 

It glows and shines and gives a sense of warmth, although somehow it doesn’t burn her pockets which she found amusing in the long run

“Hm?” The sound of a void sucking the peaceful air all the sudden caught mew’s attention as she turned mew’s head only for a portal to fill the vision bk couldn’t care where it leads 

She might take one big step for cavum but the small onwards goes to mew’s honors , confidently walking towards the portal as if she knew what awaits mew .

“ one for you? “ he asked playfully “ONE FOR ME” she cheered.
