During the first six months of the war, my wife was pregnant with my daughter Malak, whom I have not seen yet because of the siege and the war, because a week before the war I was in the State of Egypt going to work, and despite the circumstances, I lost my showroom in which I used to do my daily and basic needs. She had to endure constant displacement and unspeakable horrors as well as the inconveniences of pregnancy. The few times I was able to reach my wife, she would keep praying that she wouldn't go into labor before this nightmare reality was over.
As you may well know, many babies in Gaza are lost while waiting for consideration. The doctors previously insisted that the little ones would fail to thrive and fully recover if they stayed in the same unhealthy environment.🙏🙏
Despite everything, these babies are a source of hope and strength for us. Please don't let them fade away. My family is barely holding on for their sake and that of their older brothers and sisters.
Unfortunately, things did not go their way. The war was raging when Amir was six months old, and it is still ongoing. At about the same time, she gave birth to two beautiful-eyed angel girls, . Angel is rocked to sleep to the sound of bombs and drones instead of lullabies. Due to the unsanitary conditions in their tent and the scarcity of formula milk, the newborns constantly suffer from acute respiratory infections in addition to slow weight gain. The only medical care they were receiving was that provided by an overcrowded and under-resourced field hospital, and even that is being denied them now that my family has been forcibly evacuated once again from Rafah to Khan Yunis where only rubble remains.
Please donate if possible and reblog as often as you can 🙏

first of the companion polls for the tumblr chooses their favorite of my favorite kpop songs. this one is songs that got zero percent of the votes in any of the previous polls in this series. a bit of a second chance poll, though as i said in the final this won’t effect the final results.
none of these should get zero percent of the votes okay? thats the whole point. go listen to some of them if you’ve never heard any of them. these are the underdogs and i’m giving them a second chance with this poll so don’t waste it.

Landed
Wind whacked her in the face. The rushing air made her skin crack; her loose clothes trailed her like minstrels providing a soundtrack of deafening flaps.
Still, she refused to slow down. She was finally able to run, to dance, to take up space!
And wasn’t that ironic, how not being bound to her home planet all those decades had limited even the amount of oxygen she’d been allowed to breathe? Always restrained in a suit, always following protocol, always making sure to stay out of the way of her colleagues and not breaking their focus by being too loud.
She had landed now, and she would scream and sing and kick! Not even her own body would be able to hold her back. She’d take her fill and nothing less, in streets and woods and fields.
All she hoped was that she wouldn’t startle the sheep.
