Realized I never publicly dropped the lore about the depiction of Sergy Lermantoff that i made in collaboration with @sp00kfr0st so im gonna try to fix that!

Here are big details about him that y'all might be interested in.~

He has no interest in the guardian vs Pitch conflict these days. He didnt at first but was swayed in by Pitch's honeyed words. Sergy doesn't care about children and their belief. He just wants to stay tucked away in his Valley Of Lost Dreams and experiment with the dreamsand.

Sergy is an expert on dreamglass. It was his study of it that drew Pitch there in the first place, besides the rumors of the Valley itself. He likes to melt it down and put irrelevant dreams next to each other in mosiacs. The experiments he does isn't really ethical but he doesn't care. It isn't like hes harming actual people.

Sergy doesn't have many allies outside his valley but he has a handful! (See below)

Ombric was a good friend and they studied magic together. Sergy stole a number of books from The Library Of Alexandria with Ombric's assistance. Ombric foresaw the library burning down and Sergy impulsively acted(to the surprise of no one who knew him) He looks upon those books fondly and misses his old friend.

Sandy was suspicious of Sergy at first but had a silent truce with him prior to Sergy's serpent transformation. When he heard Sergy was saved and was back in the valley... it made him curious. They began to slowly develop a tight friendship as Sandy vowed to help keep him out of the war between Pitch and The Guardians. Sandy helped clarify things about dreams and reignited Sergy's fixation on his former studies. Presently, Sandy is one of his closest friends and playfully teases him whenever he visits.

Mother Nature is his closest ally alongside Sandy. It was her who saved him from death by the guardian's hands after hearing him actually say how he didnt want to die. (Which should've been impossible for him to speak in his serpent form.) She kept him in her realm to help try to reverse his curse and her merciful act confused Sergy greatly. Her patience, mercy and protectiveness allowed him to be more vulnerable around her. He knew she had a connection with Pitch but never tried to pry. He knew she was hurt by him in some form and felt a kinship with her. They feel no romantic love for each other, but the platonic love between them is strong. He adores her visits and watching her navigate under the valley's dizzying effects. She saw past his monsterous exterior and he saw past her intimidating stature and hardened walls. They saw themselves as two monsters finding someone who could finally understand them.

He has a signature weapon! Its called a Ranseur. It has some stones imbedded in it that renders certain entities/spirit's powers null. It mostly effects dream spirits.

Sergy has happened upon unfortunate humans that were claimed by the valley multiple times. If outsiders aren't careful, they will fall into an endless sleep as their dreams flow through the valley until they die. He has no power over the fate of one in such a condition. All a victim can hope for is that Sergy finds them before they fall into the cursed slumber. He's indifferent to seeing such sites ironically enough. The most he does is leave an offering out of respect and then let the valley have whatever is left of them.

He's kind of an asshole who doesn't care much for human life. Considering he is barely considered a human at this point, he doesnt see it as hypocritical. If a human dies in the valley then he does not focus on it. Its those who die while suffering that make him care.

If you asked me what -core aesthetic fit him the most, it'd be Dreamcore/Weirdcore. The valley he lives in makes outsiders hallucinate wildly in similar manners to dreams or just batshit visuals. He loves to document what people experience and watch them trip out in his presence. Sergy has a high resistance to the valley's affects but he can allow it to overtake him for a short amount of time.

His relationship with Pitch is dubious present day. They have yet to interact after Sergy was presumed dead. Pitch has no idea Sergy is alive and Sergy tries to keep it that way. Pitch tries to bury their past yet he cant bring himself to throw out the dream mosiac Sergy made for him. Sergy has very conflicting feelings over Pitch and tries to avoid talking about him. They were initially drawn to each other by pure fascination, since Sergy showed no fear over Pitch and did morally questionable things with Dreams. While Pitch's powers over nightmares appealed to the darker side of Sergy's interest of dreams.

His home is what you would imagine a magical dream wizard researcher would have, but you'd be surprised at the odd pieces of furniture he has tucked away. Sometimes outsider's hallucinations inspired him to conjure odd furniture just because it sounded hilarious to him. His favorite piece so far is an inflatable chair shaped like a bear. The concept sounded so bizarre to him that he couldn't resist.

More context for people that don’t remember/know:

Lermontoff was a very minor villain in the fifth TGoC book, who was said to not only consume good dreams but people that had them. He was also noted as an ally of Ombric when human (Sergy Lermantoff apparently). In other words, Pitch & this guy had some sort of Edit: unfortunately NOT canonically mentioned outside (debatably) that one (1) instagram post, sorry 😞 delicious sort of enemies to twisted lovers arc. We only got to see snake!Lermy. (Also he died, and we can accept that and/or the fact AUs are makeable and fictional death can have loopholes uwu) So far this is basically all the info we have on him at all, so human!Lermy is... a nearly blank slate for all kinds of equally-plausible fun—and gay and angsty—headcanons. free real estate~

@frosted-night is to thank for the fact this Lermantoff has glasses (his face couldnt look right without em), and for some A+ headcanons including but not limited to Lermantoff having crafted dreamsand into dreamglass as a way of preserving dreams (even long after the dreamer has died aka been lost)

Follow up to the Jujutsu Kaisen headcanons post, though these are more loose ideas than fully developed headcanons:

-Although North, Sandy, Tooth, and Bunny are all teachers at the academy, they don’t all work with the students evenly. Sandy and Tooth are out in the field most of the time while Bunny rarely interacts with the students despite often spending time at the school conducting research.

-Tooth is able to split her soul into many parts to become a swarm of fairy-like creatures that each fight just as viciously as she does at full size.

-Hiccup, Merida, Rapunzel, and Jack are the first year students, Anna, Moana, and Sisu are the second year students, and Elsa, Raya, Nightlight, and Katherine are the third year students.

-Sergy Lermantoff is a curse caster, not a curse, but he uses abilities like Mahito’s in order to reshape his body. His favorite form to take is a giant serpent.

-Kozmotis Pitchiner is also a curse caster, and Sergy’s mentor.

-Since they both have an affinity for ice, Elsa mentors Jack in refining his cursed techniques.

-Jack eventually learns to create a shikigami which has little in the way of offensive ability but acts as a scout and a guide. He names her Baby Tooth.

-Astrid is Hiccup’s childhood friend who moved away a few years prior. They reunite when she comes to Jujutsu Academy as a representative for her school at the Kyoto goodwill event.

-Along with Astrid, the Kyoto school sends Maui, Namaari, Flynn, Dagur, and Heather.

-Varian is a bullied kid who shows some talent for manipulating cursed energy. Before Pitch can recruit him, however, Rapunzel happens to cross his path. Sensing he is in need of some friendship, she offers hers and unknowingly saves him.

Headcanons electric boogaloo

Jack

He can't naturally generate heat. He can enjoy heat made from other objects like heating blankets or space heaters. The heat never lasts as long as he'd like.

Night time is when hes at his calmest. He just listens to the ambiance around him and admires the scenery. This quiet side of him is rarely seen.

If he needs to bathe, he heads to natural hotsprings since its so hot that it doesn't freeze upon contact with him.

The Aurora Borealis is a comforting sight to him. He chases the lights whenever he spots them and they feel like an old friend to him.

Katherine

Her greatest fear is being the weakest link in the guardians, so she does whatever she can to make sure she can hold her own.

She feels envy when she sees kids being loved/doted on by their parents. Despite Ombric being her adoptive father, ever since he became Father Time, she hasn't seen much of him. The void eats at her sometimes.

Mother Nature(Emily Jane) intimidates her. Just being in her realm makes Katherine uneasy. She respects Mother Nature but feels like she walks on eggshells around her.

Toothiana

Sometimes she can get so wrapped up in her work that she can forget to take care of herself. Her fairies are always to tell her to go rest or go eat while they take over.

Anytime she feels like shes forgetting her parent's voices, she watches the memories stored in her baby teeth. They're like home movies for her.

She can be a bit macabre at times since blood and bits of flesh don't really scare her. She's a warrior plus they're on teeth all the time.

She empathizes with those with dental phobias. Memories of horrible dentists come across her path now and then and it makes her indescribably mad.

Mother Nature(Emily Jane)

She doesn't experience sexual attraction of any kind. Emily has no need for such things but values her friendships more than anything.

The victims of Pitch gain a special sympathy from her. Those who's forms were twisted and tainted. She saved one from death and let them reside in her realm while they rehabilitate. She checks up on him now and then, since hes no longer The Lermantoff Serpent

Sometimes she can faintly see stars of Typhan and thinks to herself how proud of her he'd be. She isn't as angry as she used to be and finally feels in control.

Aster

He makes sure to leave candies for the adults too on Easter. He can tell when they really need it and feels a big sense of satisfaction seeing adults surprised. They deserve hope in his eyes.

He might express emotions easily these days but in some moments he might misunderstand social cues. It takes him a minute or two to process it all.

Every other year on Halloween, Aster and North compete to make the best halloween candy. Its led to interesting new combinations from both of them. Its also a good outlet for their friendly rivalry. They look forward to it secretly.

North

He usually crashes hard after christmas day. That great sleep usually lasts a half or whole day.

With changing times, he always has to keep up with whats popular with kids. If you asked him he'd have to say his least favorite toy to make is "poop surprise" toys. Just in general.

He likes seeing adults go nuts for collector's toys. Its a sign that the little spark of wonder for toys never left some people.

Sandy

He's probably the warmest guardian by touch. He feels like a blanket that is fresh from the dryer.

His comfort style is mostly physical. Pats on the head, strokes of hair, a hand on the shoulder. He knows what works best for each person and tries to react accordingly.

Sandy in fact has a voice but it can be overwhelming to those who never heard it before. It sounds layered and echo-like. If hes talking to you in your dreams, his voice changes to the voice that comforts you the most. Even if it doesn't match his appearance.

Hi there! So I'm just a little confused, did you make the Lermontoff character or did Sp00kfrost(I think thats their URL?) and what is his relationship with Pitch?

Technically, both of us did! See, @sp00kfr0st designed him. I only gave suggestions like glasses and a shade of his hair. (Both of us have long hair bias so he woulda had it regardless.) All it took was us looking at this from Joyce’s instagram post and we begun to speculate who “the serpent” used to be.

(Excuse the highlighted bit. Spook did that.) But that lil tidbit fueled an idea between the two of us to craft his human self. Canonically he is dead but we don’t have to acknowledge that. I helped craft The Valley Of Lost Dreams, his previous occupations etc etc. There isn’t any canonical info besides Pitch turning Lermantoff onto his side, so we took *creative* liberties and made them sort of exes. They were oddly fascinated with each other as Sergy was not afraid of Pitch like most others, rather Sergy’s interest in nightmares drew Pitch in. It was ultimately his downfall. This is during that whole phase Pitch had where he didn’t want to feel human things so you can imagine how that went when he realized he was feeling attraction and possibly love. tldr; Lermantoff is a *sort of* joint oc between Sp00kfrost and I. Pitch n Lermantoff were a thing but once Lermantoff was turned into a snake they were clearly on horrible terms. Lermantoff isn’t dead in our lore. Eh if yall like him enough I’ll post the stories.
