I love Radiohead. No, you don't understand. I love Radiohead. They are the best. Nothing is better than Radiohead. No, you don't understand. They are genius. Not just ok, genius. No, there are no other good bands. They are the best band. It makes me sad you don't understand that. Radiohead is more than a band. The Bends is entry level. I love Radiohead. I love them. King of Limbs will be genius. Everything they do is genius. I would die for them. You need to hear more of their music. I should tie you up in a room and make you listen to their entire catalog. Then you would understand how brilliant they are. You just don't understand them. I love Radiohead. They are my religion. If you don't love Radiohead, then I cannot understand you. They are great. I wish they were air so I could breathe them. I wish Radiohead was water so I could drink them and have them inside of me. All of their songs are amazing. All of them. I love Radiohead. They are more important than you. They are more important than any of us. You don't understand their greatness. I love Radiohead. I should kill you and stuff a stereo into your corpse so your body will sing Radiohead. I'm just high on my love for all things Radiohead. I am not crazy, I just appreciate Radiohead. They are my favorite band. I have all of their albums. They are smart, they make people download. You just don't understand them. I wish I could take a bath in Radiohead. I would like to soak in all the greatness of their art. They are artists. Radiohead is more important than you or me. You just don't understand. I love them. You need to listen to Radiohead. You should listen to their new album. It will teach you things. I love Hail to the Thief. I love Thom Yorke. I love In Rainbows. Thom Yorke is the new religion.
(Also here to remind yall to try to support artists directly since Spotify barely gives them shit)

G.I. Joe the Movie was released on August 14, 1987. It was meant to be a theatrical release, see the death of Duke (Michael Bell), and have a topless scene with Zarana (Lisa Raggio). The production went longer than predicted so the Transformers movie was released first, which ended up having a huge impact on the Joe movie. Because Transformers the Movie underperformed in the theaters, it was decided to release the Joe movie as a direct to video and TV presentation. Because the Transformers movie recieved so much backlash from killing Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen), dialogue was added explaining Duke didn't die but went into a coma. The topless scene was story boarded but the scene was altered in the final film with a swim top. Most of the new characters introduced were the new recruits (Lt Falcon - Don Johnson, Kunoichi Jinx - Shuko Akune, Chuckles, Law - Ron Ortiz and Order, Big Lob - Brad Sanders, and Tunnel Rat - Laurie Faso), Sgt Slaughter's (Robert Remus), Renegades (Mercer - Kristoffer Tabori, Red Dog - Poncie Ponce, and Taurus - Earn Boen) and the mutants from Cobra-La (Pythona - Jennifer Darling, Golobulus - Burgess Meredith, and Nemesis Enforcer - Cullen). As Cobra Commander (Christopher Collins/Chris Latta) was facing a mutiny by Dr Mindbender(Brian Cummings), Baroness (Morgan Lofting), Destro (Arthur Burghardt), Zartan (Zack Hoffman), Tomax (Corey Burton) and Xamot (Bell), Pythona arrived and convinced Cobra to steal the BET device. The mission failed, Serpentor was captured, and Cobra Commander retreated his forces to Cobra-La. There Golobulus revealed that Cobra Commander was an escapee from Cobra-La. Also that Cobra-La had secretly manipulated Dr Mindbender into creating Serpentor (Dick Gautier). While Lt Falcon was court martialed by the Joes, Cobra Commander was put on trial in Cobra-La. The movie also featured the familiar Joes and Cobras Low Light (Charlie Adler), Wet Suit (Jack Angel), Blow Torch, Lift-Ticket (both Bell), Motorviper (Gregg Berger), Iceberg (Burghardt), Beach Head (William Callaway), Quick Kick (Francois Chau), Zandar (Cullen), Dial-Tone (Hank Garrett), Hawk (Ed Gilbert), Slip Stream (Dan Gilvezan), Roadblock (Kene Holiday), Bazooka (John Hostetter), Doc (Buster Jones), Gung Ho, Ripper, Televiper (all Latta), Lady J ( Mary McDonald-Lewis), Letherneck (Chuck McCann), Cross-Country (Michael McConnohie), Snow Job (Rob Paulsen), Mainframe (Patrick Pinney), Flint (Bill Ratney), Buzzer, Shipwreck, Monkeywrench, Hector Remirez (all Neil Ross), Thrasher (Ted Schwartz), Scarlett (B.J. Ward), Alpine (Lee Weaver), Torch, Wild Bill (both Frank Welker), Lifeline (Stan Wojno), and Jackson Beck as the narrator. ("G.I. Joe the Movie", Movie, Event)

30's meme: 1, 11, 45, 52?
1. What was the first piece of furniture you bought?
my *very* first piece of furniture was a futon whose cost i split with three other roommates, freshman year of college. i napped/lounged/homeworked on that futon probably more than anyone else all four years of undergrad, lmao. we got it from a habitat from humanity sale and it was CLUTCH
my first non-cheapo/non-ikea furniture would be the wooden dinner table i split with my husband when we moved in together. it's SO pretty and nice and i love it so much... and he DEFINITELY had to talk me into it because i have no sense of ~*~interior decoration aesthetics~*~ and was like "do we really need this idk it seems too fancy...." (he was 100% correct and, come to think of it, is responsible for pretty much all our furniture. it's ok, i contribute all the stuffed animals, i'm helping)
11. What’s something you saved up for and then regretted buying?
for years all my skibrah buddies were like "bro you gotta get an Epic Pass it's the only way to ski bro" & one year i FINALLY caved and got an epic pass and... then due to illness/injury i wasn't even able to USE the thing to the fullest, and also, most of the bit of skiing i wound up doing was at a NON-EPIC MOUNTAIN, so. all i got was the warm n fuzzy feeling of "paying lots of money to the evil conglomerate that's slowly jacking up the price of skiing all across the entire world." UGH
45. What’s something you wish you had more time for?
if i had an extra three hours a day i could do job + all my hobbies + get adequate sleep. however i do not have those three hours so more-often-then-not i sleep less than i'd like (and uhhh sometimes i job less than i should, but, don't tell my boss that)
52. Did your relationship with your parents get better when you stopped living with them?
Oh yeah, absolutely. Though I guess there was a little back-n-forth, like...
High school: Relationship with mom was so-so but overall fine
College: Relationship with mom gets much worse. In hindsight, she was definitely working through some Empty Nester Feelings TM and i kinda got the brunt of that, but also, I probably wasn't as nice about it as I could've been haha
First job out of college: Mom's SO much more chill. So chill that, when I end up doing a residency in another city & plot to land a job on the west coast, I'm like "why don't I just move back home for a bit in-between gigs"
Living at home again: BAD idea lmfao. Things are really tense and bad
West coast job: Both mom & I are still a little wounded for a year or two, but stuff's much better from there on out, and nowadays I definitely count mom among my best friends.
(my dad was present through all this but that relationship's always been stable, by the virtue of me being Basically The Same Person As My Dad, lol)

I got tickets but to a completely different city than the one I was aiming for. The queue was taking way too long and by the time I got in there all the good seats were gone, whereas my hometown still had stalls tickets! Guess I'm visiting my parents that week and will have to explain to them who the hell dnp are.

Hello there! I'm going to Japan for the first time in March. I thought that the Kingohger pop up store would still exist by then, but I'm wondering from your post, do you think they will sell out of everything so quickly? I'm worried. Thank you for your time ^_^
General Kenobi!
Nah, it's just first day + weekend that the queue is so long. After the initial craze, it should be fine. Go early on show day or pick a weekday if you want to be extra safe.
They have experience in two cities now so things should be better by March. When I went to Osaka's, it was a first day but weekday, and the crowd was gone in 2 hours. The stock is sufficient and only a handful of the hundreds of items were sold out, and they weren't exclusive to the pop-up (Gira and Jeramie sunstar photo frames and the leftover movie moffun stuff that probably has little stock to begin with).
Just keep an eye on their twitter for updates!
