Little Buddha: Fiesta'd Around
The boys finally got this week's movie in the mail (literally) and are back from a break with Little Buddha, starring a suspect Keanu Reeves. This one is red hot for all the wrong reasons, so buckle up, cowboys! Jokes this week include: The movie that started it all, Keanu's eyebrows, zydeco music, a distinct lack of a DVD menu, being too hungry, and an accent heard (thankfully) not quite around the world.

I remember seeing YMO on TV when I was a kid, but their early '90s revival was the first time I was aware of who they were. My father was a music fan, so I'd already seen 'Little Buddha' for its soundtrack [done by Sakamoto Ryuichi].

A beautifully told story from Bernardo Bertolucci with a great score from the recently deceased legendary composer, Ryuichi Sakamoto. Thank you to Imprint and Via Vision for entrusting us to review this title 🙏

I finally saw this movie yesterday… it’s a wonderful movie! rapture. ecstasy. very touching and deep. beautiful. very emotional. inspiring. a completely different level of knowledge and perception. one of the best I’ve ever seen. a masterpiece woven of wisdom, unity and beauty both external and internal. so pure and versatile... the story strikes just beyond belief with its sincerity and soulfulness. so many moments that are impossible to put into words, for they are above any verbal expressions💔 in some moments emotions find an outlet in another way, and it is also charming in its own way, because there is no reasonable explanation — it just happens and that’s it. childish perception is the best!
upd: i wasn't familiar with Bernardo Bertollucci's work before, but this movie struck me to the core, which means I'll have to check out the others as well :) Keanu stole my heart for the millionth time as always…......
