To go with my previous post! I never posted this lil doodle i did of Linnet and their loftwing Nihil (pronounced Nill) They are partners in crime! Linnet would never dream about being separated from her. ... *Coughs*

What if Loftwing was a Pokemon?

Maybe this has done before but I wanted to make a Loftwing in pixel art and then the idea spiraled out of control

Type: Flying (Note: Despite its basic flying type, Loftwing learns Fairy Wind, Ancient Power, Play Rough, and Life Dew)

Pokedex: "The sky island Pokemon. Loftwing are known for their endurance and remarkable agility for their size. They can be temperamental, but make excellent mounts once bonded with their trainer."

Evolution: None / Basic

Tbh I don't know a ton about Pokemon stats, what stats or ability do you think it would have?

*A note about the coloring- All of the named characters in Skyward Sword have Loftwings with different coloring that matches their character. The Crimson Loftwing is mentioned as being particularly rare, so could be the Shiny variant. But in considering what color a common Loftwing might be, I looked to what might be the only unnamed character we see in the game with a Loftwing, dubbed "Rescue Knight" on the wiki. I've decided to adopt their Loftwing's coloring as the standard.

Time is really unsettled by him and cant figure out why (its cause he's worn his face before and didn't like what it did to him)

His end point would be somehow becoming the Fierce Deity's Mask

What kind of desserts do the Chain like, if any? (Can be for the base story or also include the sequel boys + OCs, either way works!!)

Well first, we've got the Ones Who Like Sweets, and The Ones Who Don't.

The Ones Who Don't are Speck, Sketch, and Steam.

Now, within the group of the Ones Who Like Sweets we have the borderline-vegan and vegetarian subsets, these being Ocarina, Mask, and Gen respectively. The three of them tend to eyeball confectionary desserts with a certain wariness - Ocarina because he's never really had animal products before, Mask because he's still getting used to having animal products, and Gen because cake contains eggs, and all his prior experience with eggs are baby Loftwings, you monsters. They're all more likely to choose a spoonful of honey instead.

This brings us down to the remaining Ones Who Like Sweets, these being the Four, Dusk, RGBV, Lore, Realm, Wind, and Shadow. The Four tend to go for pieces of chocolate, since it's about the easiest thing they can each in synch. Dusk, being a pumpkin lover, will always choose pumpkin pie. RGBV can be expected to have wildly differing opinions, but can also usually compromise on something lemon-flavored. Realm will eat literally anything sweet, he doesn't care. He just likes sugar. Wind prefers salted candies, like caramels. And Shadow will admit that he likes sweets on pain of death - but should that time ever actually come, he loves marshmallow.

My other Linksona/Legend of Zelda Oc! He, like my other one (Oriel), are not the Links of their times/eras.

Natrix is actually the son of the Link of his time. His mother was a sheikah, one of Impa's sisters, which makes the Impa of his time his aunt! Timeline wise I put him sometime after Skyward Sword! After loftwings having all but died out, and the people living on the surface once again. I hc that Minish cap/four swords took place after SS, so Natrix's timeline is after SS but before MC. The kingdom was still pretty new, being only 600-1000 years post establishment. Thus, during Natrix's time conflicts with other kingdoms were becoming concerningly common. Unfortunately during the era he was born in, it was very frowned upon and outright forbidden in some circles for Sheikah to be involved with a Hylian. This was even more so because Natrix's mother was a sort of priestess figure, and was expected to forgo romantic/intimate relationships in favour of devotion to the goddesses (so like a nun of sorts). Link and her fell in love and shortly after, Natrix was born. They didn't stay happy for long though, all secrets had a tendency to being revealed, and his mother was executed by the Sheikah elders for disgracing/betraying her oath. Link found out about this too late to save her. Impa, whose sister confessed to her about her son, developed a grudge against Link but loved Natrix since he resembled his late mother. Natrix, being half hylian, has long elven ears characteristic for Hylains, which made it hard to conceal his heredity. His eyes as well, his left resembling his father's while his right being the characteristic red of the sheikah. Natrix trained with his Aunt to become a true Sheikah, though shunned by most of the clan, and excelled in all tests and trials. Which begrudgingly got the elders' approval. Natrix was later employed under the crown to guard the princess, who he was childhood friends with. Natrix's name is latin for "Water snake". His mother named him after one of the Sheikah's mythological figures, the snake mother. When Natrix was around 12 years old, disaster struck. A great evil had risen and Link had gone off to start his quest, leaving his son in the care of Impa. And at the age of 13 years old, after not having seen his dad since that day, news reached them of Link's demise. The information was kept private/secret, only the crown and the sheikah employed by the crown were aware, this included his and Impa. It was decided that Natrix was to take up his father's quest to save Hyrule, and so he left for his quest to avenge his father. After his quest, when he returned at the age of 16 (his quest(s) having lasted 3 years) after having fought in a war and avenged his father, it was decided by the crown that Natrix's part in saving Hyrule has to be kept hidden. The Link would be the one described as having won over this evil, as he was the one who had possessed the triforce of courage and been named the Hero. Natrix, went on to become Princess Zelda's guard, his identity and his part in saving Hyrule unknown and erased from History.

guys I really want them to bring back how the rito used to be postmen

I guess you could say its getting closer to that with penn working at the lucky clover gazette, but hes more gathering information instead of just delivering letters

maybe im just a sucker for wind waker and wanted it to have more attention in totk, especially for the ritos (okay I probably am)

just saying cause I might make a rito oc soon that based off a seagull/ww ritos and have them work as a postman. (I do have another postman rito but he is based off a loftwing (I have no idea why I did this))
